Mine's Link, followed closely by Fox/Wolf/Lucario/Kirby/Sonic. |

Lolcario O: Surprise huh? But er.. seriously. xD I like his style a whole lot, I'm not pulling the Link31. I played Mewtwo alot back in Melee too so it fit well enough. Next up then comes Yoshi, who has come in as main since SSB64. I've just ended up liking Lucario alot more as I play with him more in the more competitive scene. Jiggs is up there, but not the best for me, and I've been picking up Pikachu now also. QAC is tough, though. ;-; I also dabble in the Ice Climbers but, that's impossible online. xD |

Sonic. Others, but can't decide on a pure second. ROB is coming close though. Gotta love those lazer beamz. |

Hmmmm. I use most of them equally, so I don't really excel as any one character. Lucas is probably one of my strongest. But the ones I do use are: Pikachu Lucas Sonic Toon Link Luigi Ice Climbers Olimar Kirby Yoshi Lucario ...yeah, I play all with varying amounts of awesomeness XD But they're my favorites and it's good to be versitile xP |

I'm in a phase of using Marth at the moment, followed by Mario. |

SONIC. No one else. Well. No one second. Maybe ROB. But Sonic is first. Always. |

Isn't Toon Link the same as Link, aside from looks? |

That's where you're wrong. Toon Link is more agile than Link. His Clawshot does not have as much range as Link's. Toon Link's Down+A midair strike is a lot heavier than Link's (which can also be spammed). Toon Link also uses just a regular boomerang, while Link uses the Gale Boomerang. It isn't like Toon Link's smaller than adult Link..... |

Still, they're not massively dissimilar. |

It's like comparing Wolf and Fox really. They both play differently because they have different stats, even if they are based off the same primative moves. |

I still think they could've been more inventive with Toon Link's Final Smash instead of just giving him Triforce Slash. Some ideas I've had: -> Toon Link takes out the Wind Waker and plays a tune, summoning a waterspout which flings everyone else off the stage. Or -> Toon Link takes out the Phantom Hourglass and flips it over. The whole stage becomes afflicted by the Temple of the Ocean King's curse, damaging Toon Link's foes and leaving him unharmed. As they take damage he can then run around attacking them at leisure for 10 seconds or so. I didn't like the fact that all the Star Fox characters just call a Landmaster for their Smashes, but then I can't really think of anything else the Star Fox series has that could be a Smash, except maybe one similar to Pikachu's or Sonic's involving an Arwing. Funny thing is, when Falco uses his he says "personally I prefer the air", then comes down in a Landmaster... and drives around on the ground. XD |

They could have had them call their teammates and have them open fire on the characters. Like a mix of Snakes and Ness/Lucas. That'd be cool - everyone panicking, as Arwings dive at them and shoot at them....while the charrie who did the smash just sits back and watches the carnage! |

I'mma just list each of my faves and their strats and such, just because the forums are still down and I'm deathly bored. XD![]() --> Link -----> Take advantage of the healthy balance of range vs melee, and air vs ground. Easilly keeps an enemy in the air by launching them upwards, and keep the offense going until the opponent reaches 100%, save for heavier foes, which reach 125+%. Use the air down-A to KO the opponent. Just use whatever works, really. Only since Link is the kind of character that can use anything in his own arsenal to do heavy damage, given the chance. --> Used ~20% of the time, however he is feared locally as my best main. ![]() --> Meta Knight -----> Fast, agile, and able to pile on a lot of damage in a small amount of time. Easy to use in the air and on ground, the only downside is no range, and a need for experience to use recoveries well. Mainly good to give the enemy 150+% to be safe for a smash KO. --> Used ~25% of the time, just for kicks. I do play a mean Meta though. ![]() --> Ike -----> A simple, straightforward strategy. Just keep making hits. Pile up the damage to even a good 60% and a decently aimed smash will annihilate foes. Linear recofery makes taking damage a problem though, as Ike is somewhat easy to knock around. -- Used ~15% of the time, mostly because I love Fire Emblem, but also because Ike is just badass. ![]() --> Wario -----> Eating things is fun. All that really has to be said, but I'm not so easilly finished. Ram into opponents with the bike, eat it, keep them at bay until your bike comes back, repeat until fart is maxed. By then the other person should be at high enough percet to where a correctly aimed fart will finish them. But you can also eat them for laughs, and use his other moves. --> Used ~10% of the time for "lulz". It does get a bit boring after a while though. ![]() --> Wolf -----> A rather lovely power-hitter. The smas attacks have ddecent range, the ones on the ground lunge, and two of them count for two attacks. So long as the stage is not small, B attacks can also be used to attack from a bit away, so long as they are properly aimed. Suicide is an often thing on small stages with Wolf if one is not careful. --> Used ~10% of the time, just because of how inexperienced I am with his B attacks. ![]() --> Lucario -----> Lucario has great Smash range. The aura shots go a bit beyond his fist range, making him a great unexepected hitter. The smashes also hit a fair distance as well. With a counter, a guidable recovery, and the ability to sit on walls gives Lucario great potential for any new player. One of the first I used in local Brawls. --> Used ~15% of the time, since it becomes a bit easy to counter him after a while. If nothing else, I just use Olimar or ht random, because using teh PIKMIN CHAIEN is awesome! :p But yep, there are my usual Brawlers, if nothing else. XD If I ever get my wifi back, my usual items are Smart Bombs, Bob-oms, and Pyro boxes. I liek esplodey stuff. Oh, and Glowey smashy ballz tew! :3 We should make a Brawl compilation of strategies and stuff. It'd rawk. :3 |

I like Zelda. Don't ask. I used to use Pit, but for some reason I switched to Zelda. What? A girl's gotta have her way ![]() Not to brag about or anything, but Zelda owns. Most of the time... By that I mean when everyone else piles up on me when I use her. They don't do that, no one can beat meh. Unless I'm distracted. Or it's my little brother (not the youngest brother) that's playing (with Pikachu) |
