Over the past few months, I've really improved in Arcanists . I went over 2000, with a peak of 2279 (Nowhere near the epic Wazzy, though ). I'm no expert, but I found some tips that really helped me :1. Find a map that is convenient for your spellbook. A major part of Arcanists is the mapstyle. The map you use could have a major effect on your gameplay. If you're very vulnerable to Flashes, because you're spellbook doesn't carry Arcane Gate (IT SHOULD), choose a map like Elven Isles. Don't stick to one map. 2. Shock Bomb and Conductor Rod are two spells that can win the game for you. The hard part is mastering them. Learn to use Shock Bomb without Flight, and practice good situations with Conductor Rod. Sandbox and Unrated games are excellent places for these. 3. This is for people who tend to have a higher-rating... At the start of the game, go to a separate page, go to the FunOrb Highscores, and search your opponent's Arcanists rating. Make sure it's not too low, and if it is, try to draw. I once got placed with someone at 39 rating .4. This is CRUCIAL for every SINGLE Arcanists match. At the beginning of the game, right before it starts, an opening screen will come. It will tell you the names of your opponent, and your name. Find your opponent's picture on the screen. Directly below it should be a picture of his/her level 3 spells. ALWAYS find out what they are. 5. This is for the higher-rated people: Don't set up random matches. I did this often on my old account, and when I won, I normally got 10 rating. When I lost, I lost 100 . Pwnage, right? So instead, go to a Member's server, where high-rated people hang out, and set up games with someone around your rating. Choose the settings, agree, and search.6. Never be afraid to try out a new strategy. But always try to use it on your friends first. Or in the Sandbox. ======================================================= Really hoped this helped . |

If you're playing on the 'Arcane Crystals' map and your opponent summons a dragon, drop a cog down onto it. It'll restrict its movement, and could possibly save you from a loss. (: |
