just came across these...I went out for a quick fish before work one day and ended up with all these in about 45 minutes or so..It was SO nuts I couldn't keep 2 rods going..lol...Other guys around me were looking back at me and giving me a puzzled look cause they weren't catching much...plus I was laughing so hard too...what a blast!! Not huge this time round,,,but they were yummy!!![]()

Now that there is a good feed. Way to go big hairy guy..lol. Don't get too many lakes around Marathon with perch. LOW on the other hand has a good nmber of perch but they are very worm infested so I never keep them although I know they are great eating. |

I forget how far up you actually are dude!!..they are some good eatin...but what a chore to clean sometimes..lol...I mean if your gona clean one,,,you may as well do 40 or so??lol... I did a repeat the very next day,,but i brought a guy from work with me and we caught a pile between us..lol... the perch pics above i was a Solo act.lol...but the next day,,we came to work with a bucket FULL of fresh live perch and I feed the whole staff that night with beer battered and pan fried perch with Moosehead beer and a fennel slaw..lol... |

Now that sounds awesome. The closest experience to having a pile of fish to filet are black crappies on LOW. We used to catch huge amounts of those little tasty treats but it was all fun until we had to clean them.
