Wow, those are some great catches. You seem to have no problem getting a big batch of walleye. Congrats. Some day we are going to have to have an OTB fish fry down there on the shores of Erie.

It has been an amazing year. What I haven't been posting is how rough Lake Erie has been this
summer. The boat, the equipment, and me have been beat up pretty good this year. It has been awful
out there. Although the fishing is good when you can get out there, the days out fishing have been
limited.
I did manage four days in this particular week but I also have been battling four and five foot waves or bigger
everytime I have gone out. Even at night when usually the lake lays down it has been rough.
Cole and I have been running anywhere from twelve to twenty miles out of port in sketchy conditions
to chase these eyes. I went out a couple nights this year in semi good conditions by myself and the
lake turned on me and I wondered if I was going to get in. I don't take risks but when you are out that
far you just can't get to port that fast. It took me over two hours to return to port on the Tuesday night.
Anyway the fishing is great, but took lots of work and abuse. This was my best week getting out that
many times.
September I hope will hold with the nice weather.
