I found this on the internet and wondered if any of you guys have done this- Boat Conversion If I was to do this I'd probalbly go with a mercury or yamaha 4 stroke 50hp tiller. And a homemade removable drop in bass deck like they have for bigger lund tournement boats. Also a built in stereo and livewell somewhere on the boat. Edited by mallard stalker, Aug 5 2008, 08:38 PM.

man that is neat idea and it would be a hole lot more comfortable to fish form all day and all of that strorage space and extras make this boat feel like a bigger boat |

Its cool how he found a use for each place in the boat. Crisop-I'd buy a livewell kit from cabelas and put it in the first cross seat showing. |

Great boat!!! Yes a live well would be nice but what I really would want is bait wells front and back. I just can't stand having to pass bait back and forth. I fish mostly with leeches and/or worms on long trips but like to add minnows to my arsonal (sp). Since I fish a lot of back lakes where an 18fter won't easily get into I am seeing a 3 person 16/14fter designed similarly. Definately lots of food for thought. |

I think it would be better if lund made an ssv 17 footer which would be a better size for conversion |

It says on that website he spent about $20,000. Like 4st eyes said I'd go with a 16 footer |

For 20000 u could buy a factory set up walleye tiller that looks and works better IMHO. |
