well the day started off like any other, my buddy Rob picking me up about 6am to head out to a nice walleye lake. after getting gas for the truck and my 9.9hp, we headed to get bait. Got out bait and started off to the lake, made the turn where we thought the lake would be and after a few hours of driving down the wrong roads we finally found the right one at 10am. Drove the 10+ km's to the lake down a road that a truck shouldn't be taken down that doesn't want to get scratched. Unloaded my boat and motor, hooked everythin up and started down the lake. Got to our spot and within 10 mins had the first 11" fish in the boat which went right back into the lake. After 2 hrs we had a nice mess of walleye on the stringer and about 12 or so pike we released. One pike even regurgitated a nice .5lb pike after we released it

here are some pics of the lake and our stringer of fish

I don't knwo what's up with my face, so don't make to much fun of me

Nice ones Jon. I know where you went. Been there many times. Actually cut an access path from the other side many years ago. See someone put logs down at the launch point. Was there lots of people there? Cause word sure is travelling fast.

Great pics and some dang fine eaters to boot. Your buddy in the boat looks like he really enjoyed himself. Usually hard to get to lakes have good fishing, for that reason. You have to look at it as getting in is part of the adventure and enjoy all aspects of the trip. Most people look at it as an inconvienence, rather than part of the challenge.
