I am curious what some of you guys have for electronics. I have a portable fishfinder aka Canadian Tire special for when I am in a canoe or 12 foot boat. I also have another Canadian Tire special in my 16 foot boat. One is humminbird and the other lawrance but at the bottom of the sophisticated scale. Compare that to my brothers 900 series side scanning humminbird and and GPS incorporated lawrance and I am using an abacus he is using scientific calculator....lol. :fishing1:

Run an Eagle Optima fishfinder, Garmin 60c GPS and a Strike Alert Lightning detector. Still have a Sitex 357 paper graph, Hummingbird 60? flasher (yellow box instead of Lowrance green box), and a Sitex FL-8 flasher (pre-Vexilar).

If there is anything i need to up grade it is my electronics. I run a lowerance 47 and it is not the best on the market, i would like to put it on my bow with the transducer on my bow mount motor and get a sonar/chart plotter at the console, but that is when I get enough money and that far down the priority list. :fish2:

I run a Humminbird 1197c with side imaging and up front I have a fantastic old Lowrance X25. Fantastic little gadgets to make the day that much more interesting.

and an Eagle Fish Mark 360 off the bow

The X27 can also be used as a flasher on that window.

My lowrance just caved in at the end of the soft water and I will be replacing it come spring with a colour unit and for the hardwater we run an LX-3 and LX-5 Marcum . I've tested so many flashers and sonar and will continue to for the hardwater that my eyes even spin but such is the life of a prostaffer for some of this stuff . :): There is alot of gear out there and it just continues to grow . We use a H2o for a gps and also a 76 for garmin . I just can't get the hang of them because I'm just too used to following a compass or my nose to direct me and just have little interest in gps .
