Baking Powder Biscuts; easy

These go almost as fast as they come out of the oven.
4 cups sifted flour.
6 tsp baking powder.
1 tsp salt.
8 tbsp shortening.
add milk until dough is stiff[about 3/4 of a cup].
Mix together the flour, baking powder,salt and shortening.add the milk slowlyusing only enough to make a very stiff dough. roll the dogh out to about 1/2 inch thick.cut with glass, round cutter or knife. Place the cut dough on greased baking sheet, place in a 350 degree oven for approximately 20 mins or until biscuits have popped and are browned. enjoy.
