I know most you are a little to far north to considering making the trip to the bay but thought I would
post my results.

I went out Sat, Sun, and Mon. The bite was very slow but did get better each day I went.
Ended up with about 25 keepers for the three days of fishing. Caught over 75 total but lots of small
ones.

10-12" every where I drilled.

LPB=Long Point Bay Lake Erie and yes it was nice to finally be out on the ice. No ice good
enough to fish last year.
It's a long winter when there is no ice to fish.

I think I'll be hittin the ice again on Sat. Suppose to warm up next week 6 degrees and rain
on Monday, might be my last chance this year. You never know around here.

Shed I have heard that some people do well in or around the harbour at Leamington? Any
truth to that or just tall tales.

Hey lunker, the perch at LPB are all over the place. You have to find the school, it's tough
fishing out there. Lots of traffic, especially on the wknd. My best luck has been in close
to shore, so walking is definately no problem. The ice was 10-12" on Sunday but with all
rain on Monday I don't know. I would guess it will still be good on the wknd. Follow the main trail and you should be ok. Clarity was just getting good but probably is crap again
with Big creek raging again on Tuesday.

Good luck if you go
be safe.
