went there on Dec 28th and the ice is in good shape, 12-14" west of coffin island where we fished and all black solid ice. There is a nice ice ridge in sawmill bay but it's crossable by truck and snowmachine the ice road looks in good shape and is 2 lanes wide all the way to Sand Point i beleive and after that to coffin island it's 1 lane |
