Fishin' for Loch Ness

Here's how to make floating jigs, it's really easy. All you need is a small single or treble hook, a few spilt shots and some good ol' ear plugs. Ear plugs float, they also come in a bunch of different colours, yellow and green are my favorites. Simply slide your hook through the ear plug as you would with a twister. Put a few split shots at about 10 to 12" away from your hook and you've got yourself a floating jig. My gramps taught me that trick and I've caught alot of walleye in the river back home that way. Cheap plus they work awesome..
