Oh god, his hangover, it was still there.

Rob groaned loudly as he rolled out of the small bed he was laying on, falling onto the floor with a loud thud. God, why did this keep happening to him? The last thing he could remember was somehow being stuck up on the Sky Islands with that redheaded gilf and her robot partner and then it had all gone fuzzy. Some snippets were still there, like agreeing to be a carpenter for their crew in exchange for not being viciously murdered, but beyond that he didn't have much of a recollection at all. He rolled around a bit on the floor, groaning loudly as his throbbing head was amplified by the slight rocking of the ship he was now on.

The carpenter managed to pull himself up to his feet, feeling nauseous and like he hadn't showered for three days. Groggily, he left the living quarters where it seemed like no-name mooks like him resided. His steps were heavy and fumbled as he stammered down the hall to a stairway that must have led to the deck. He may have been mentally incoherent currently, but he always knew the familiar feeling of a ship under his feet. "Fuggin clowns" the murmured as he slowly emerged onto the main deck of their small salmon-class ship. Mooks ran about, doing their busywork as they seemed to be approaching an island of some sort.

One of the larger and more intimidating peons appeared quickly before the lazy carpenter, scowling at him. "What are you doing loafing around? We're nearly at Gesso Island! We need to be ready to disembark and perform for the villagers there!" the senior mook said, grabbing a mop and shoving it into Rob's hands. The carpenter fumbled with the thing as he gave a look of putrid and ephemeral disgust. Wait... He was supposed to work? A carpenter didn't mop the decks, he just made some shit and laid back while people did the hard parts for him. He didn't sign up to be a janitor. Rob opened his mouth to protest, but before he could, felt a wave of nausea ripple up through his torso through his throat.

The carpenter pivoted away from the senior mook and leaned over the edge of the ship, puking into the ocean as their small ship approached the starting island of Route 4 of the Grand Line. Rob was still reeling a tad after all of this, he had gone from drinking in a pub somewhere in the South Blues to being in the Sky Islands, a place he didn't think to exist, to now sailing on the Grand Line as a lowly mook for a presumably strong pirate crew. "I need to lay off the hard stuff" he muttered to himself as he leaned over the railing of the ship. The next time he blacked out he was afraid he might wake up to find himself in an even more strange situation.

Rob groggily turned to look at the approaching island, unknowing of the eyes watching them as they now approached it...

Sylvia left everyone on sky island, not wishing to be a part of a battle with Bright Eye's she was strong, but his strength didn't have a name, his abilities unknown and unexplainable to destroy our world by himself, marines feared him because their whole forces would be wiped out, after reaching the ship once again, a mook handing her a mop, Sylvia thinking was he stupid?. "If you're not helping my captain then you can cl....." But at that moment she placed it into his mouth. "No thank you." She said with a smile, walking away, scaring the rest of this low-level crew, whom she could kill with a single finger. "Next person to give me orders will get worse." She said, giving a cute wink with a threat, which made them blush, but fear Sylvia as she was truly hard to read, walking around for some time, trying to think what to do next.

She sat down drinking a cup of tea with a blank expression. "I have nothing, better to do." In less than one hour Sylvia would be moving, with speed in the kitchen no chef could match, her hands somehow handling, several pans at once, while adding the seasonings, spices, and ingredients, the smell reached everyone, as they wondered to look, seeing Sylvia sitting down eating a meal fit for a palace, and hundreds of people. "Is something wrong?" She said as their mouths watered. "Oh, you what sum?" They nodded. "Okay, fine, but only if you never ask me to do any work around here again, you may all enjoy it." They where thinking, and just nodded, as Sylvia walked away. "Dig in." They did as she was out of that room. "Where ever you go, they are all the same."

She said going to a room where Sylvia could go to sleep, and have some rest as she would wait for the rest of this crew to get back, not thinking she would have her own adventure, taking a nap, being glad she didn't have to hurt each one of them to leave her alone, Sylvia's own cooking was enough to take care of anything that would become annoying down the road.

The Dressing Room glided across the waves as it approached the island. Rob could notice its defining traits quite quickly, namely that it was completely devoid of color whatsoever. It was like a blank canvas waiting to be colored, or in his world, a nightmarish drug trip. The carpenter squinted his eyes as he turned to look back to the mooks working to prepare the ship to dock. It was at hearing some commotion though that the red haired man was able to shirk his chores just that little extra longer. The man poked his head inbetween some larger clowns, watching as the somewhat un-clownish looking woman threatened them all if they were to treat her like another mook. "Damn, if getting stronger means I can be more lazy, then I'm all in" the man muttered as he watched the clowning mooks resign themselves to letting the cook do as she pleased.

There was something... familiar about that girl. Had he slept with her before in some shitty one night stand that he had to get high to enjoy? Rob couldn't remember, Rob couldn't really remember much of anything these days, he was just here right now. Still, he knew he had seen the white haired pirate before, and thus made a mental note to jump her later to ask her a few questions about what was going on anymore. Noting how some of the more green-gilled mooks were following the woman down into the kitchen of the small ship, Rob took the opportunity to sneak away from the main deck and its Quartermaster to try and get some grub. He always had the munchies for greasy shit.

The carpenter sat down at one of the tables, looking remarkably and comically out of place as his engineer-like attire and red hair clashed brilliantly with the clown-themed mooks he was now surrounded by. He just sort of sat there in silence, like that one relative who didn't really want to show up at family reunions because of his dislike for his overbearing family. At least her cooking was good, the woman placed a meal before the assembled mooks like she was a holy savior bringing them sweet salvation through her food. Rob took a bite, his taste buds reaching valhalla as he felt her magical skill quickly taking away his malaise. His throbbing hangover was starting to dull down, his overall disgusting aura receding slightly into somewhat more socially acceptable standards. He silently watched the woman retreat to another room as he ate there. She knew how to make threats.

"Who's 'hat then?" he asked one of the mooks sitting next to him. "Eh? You new, guy? That's Sylvia Vermillion, one of the officers!" the man said. At hearing the name a very, VERY, dim lightbulb lit up in the carpenter's brain. "Shit, I know her- and it's not from a terrible hookup!" he exclaimed, amazed at both parts of that statement as most women he tended to recognize generally wanted to step on him like a disgusting parasite that needed to be shot in the middle of the street like a degenerate scumbag. "-I was with her, and that samurai guy, at Teryaki!" he said, feeling suddenly a bit proud to have some sort of vague connection to such a high-ranking figure. "She took out an entire marine base, what were you doin'?" the skeptical mook asked the man as he leered towards the brash clown-noob.

"Oh, I sabotaged a ship and totally, like, was the coolest thing since iced tea" Rob state, earning a scoff from the nonbelieving man as he looked back to eating his meal. Those listening weren't impressed, "I'm Robert Mays!" he said, trying to prove he had actually done shit, mostly so he didn't have to do any more chores. "Never 'eard of ye!" a clown mocked, leading the somewhat sober and grumpy rob to grab a handfull of muffins and storm off up the stairs to brood on the main deck. What the hell was he doing here? How had he gotten to this place?

All the while, the pastel white island drew closer and closer. They would be docking in only fifteen minutes or so...

Sylvia was bored, she missed her life back on that island, making games, owning her own places, now that was impossible unless, she became a Shichibukai which was not an easy title to gain, as it allowed pirates to live a normal life, and still do crimes. A mook would be sitting beside him listening to his conversation, as it would become a rumor on this ship, it started like this making its way around the dinner table first. "Did you hear, that new guy said Sylvia was a terrible hookup?" More words like that got across getting more mix up into a fake story. "I can't believe someone like Sylvia would be that bad, I'll give my arm to be with her." Soon as one member left after the other this story getting around the ship, she would be sleeping in her room, as she heard the full made up story. "Did you hear, the new guy and Sylvia hooked up on Teryaki." As they were about to walk away, a door flew right towards them, hitting the mook as he was bleeding from his head, Sylvia had a smile but wasn't happy. "I hooked up with whom?" She said never hooking up with anyone, not really having a type yet.

He panicked right away, only able to blame one person who wasn't at fault it was just a story that got out of control and missed placed. "....I..." He didn't wish to say a name but gave up right away thinking on how Sylvia can act. "It was Robert, the new member with red hair." She smiled, leaving him be, looking for this person, as she made it around the ship, Sylvia heard the other stories, until reaching the dinner hall, standing with a smile. "Which one of you said, I was a hookup, and a terrible one at that?" She said her red gaze becoming sharper looking from left to right until she seen someone blinking in confusion. "Don't I know you somehow?" Sylvia did recall him a little, but not enough giving he was hiding on that mission, her gaze on Robert Mays.

Robert grumbled about this shitty job, on this shitty boat, with this shitty crew he had been roped into. Oh Timbo, what he would have done for a pinch of Romulin Spice to help his nerves. The moody carpenter begrudgingly looked out over the seas to the island they were approaching, it was all white an melancholy, just like life was when a person was sober. Maybe he could use his bad luck to his advantage. Maybe if he got wasted again, he'd black out and wake up this time on a tropical beach somewhere with all the booze and breasts he could ever dream of. At thinking such lewd and perverse thoughts, the red haired pirate heard a soft but stern voice address him behind him. "Look man, I jus' needa' bitta' fresh air to help take the bite off'a my hangover" the man groaned as he turned to whom he thought was one of the mook officers upset with how he was neither working, nor eating his fill with the rest of the crew.

What he found, however, was perhaps more surprising, enough to make his red eyebrows raise up a little. Rob blinked in confusion as he looked across the deck to Sylvia. "I did what now?" he asked with a tilt of his head, "-sure I might have done sommin' like that, but I always remember with whom, in case I wake up with a knife at my groin, and I certainly don' remember anythin' with you" he defended himself. Had you ever tried to go to a 'political party' on Gunsmoke Island? It was a wild, bloody, messy ride. A three way with a Nazi and a Communist was a recipe for disaster and poor political discourse. Still, knowing that Sylvia was a zoan user, and could probably rip out his jugular with just a flick of her wrist, Rob raised his hands up in front of him and complied defensively. "Yeah man, like, I'm Rob. I was with you at Teriyaki for that job with Asylum" he replied, pointing up at his goddamn adorable face and giving an earnest yet still creepy smile.

Shit, how was he supposed to be friendly with normal people? The last time he could remember carrying on a semi-normal conversation was with Jesse and her giant robot of death. Still, this was his first real conversation with someone where he wasn't being chased by a combination of angry clowns and Bright Eyes pirates. "How did you get here then? This crew I mean. It's certainly a jump to go from notoriety in the Blues to rising to fame throughout Paradise" Rob said as he hopped up and sat on the railing of the ship, patting the space next to him for Sylvia to sit if she wanted. This was probably the most sober he'd be getting on most cases, so he might as well use his time wisely. "How 'bout that other guy? Mr. tall, dark, and katana" he asked, curious to see what the other two had been getting up to in the months since their first meeting. As with this as he was in almost every aspect in life, Rob had been a disappointment.

Sylvia was most of the time a playful person, but without much to do its kind of been getting boring, and now some idiot was spreading rumors that could never happen. She let out a soft smile, facing him, "I know it didn't happen, it's zero chance it could, I believe it's one chance in many things, but this is no doubt a zero." She said with her red eye's locked onto the new crew member. "Asylum?" She didn't remember any none important people if he did know Sylvia and by the looks of that smile, he knew she could end him in seconds, so she took it as he didn't make up that story, sitting down. "What do you mean? I don't remember who Asylum is?" She was confused, looking at him, Sylvia did remember him a little now.

"Me and that swordsmen got 80,000,000 in bounty from the Marines for destroying their ship, then I took a mafia role, then I lost a game so I am here now, after killing that high ranking officer, but you must have got something yourself?" She asked, but then smile, but then turned into a laugh pointing at him. "Haha, you got nothing, for doing the same job as me." She said finding it really funny. Sylvia didn't care, when he said that katana guy. "But other than that day, I haven't seen him, two new pirates, just getting 80,000,000 in bounty out of nowhere, would mean death, bounty hunters killing us in seconds. So it wouldn't shock me if he was dead now, unlike him I have brains, and also 9 lives." She said acting like a cat. "Meow!" Giving a wink, but that clown could have taken all of them on that day. "But I'm here because I lost a game. I use to bet my freedom in games, and that clown finally beat me, so now I'm a part of this crew."

Rob let his feet sway from side to side a bit as he sat on the railing of the deck. Quiet moments like this felt rare, particularly so considering how jarring all of this still was. Despite that, the carpenter still couldn't help but raise an eye in surprise at Sylvia not recognizing when he mentioned the name 'Asylum', "She's the broad who hired us to attack that marine base. Remember? She looked like a crazy maniac, but also was kinda hot at the same time?" the man asked with a tilt of his head. He could remember most women he was attracted to with but a single glance, call it a unique power- or just another trait of his eternal sleaze ball status. Oh well, now that they were in the Grand Line, all of that felt like a world away.

At hearing the bounty that she and the samurai-lookin guy got out of all that trouble though caused Rob's face to seize up. S-she was worth how much? The carpenter felt his heart beat as he looked over the laughing pirate as she mocked him for being eternally useless. This woman was so dangerous that she was worth 80,000,000 Beli? It was surreal to think of, especially considering how harmless he had initially thought of her when first meeting. "Yeah, well, like, that's just your opinion, man" Rob retorted, scrambling for words as he knew there was little he could do to defend himself. Sylvia and the other guy had been front and center stage during all of the chaos while he had been basically hididng and skulking around behind the scenes. Cowards have higher life expectancies after all.

Rob let out a nervous chuckle as Sylvia dismissed the other man as probably being dead and in a ditch somewhere, claiming she had 9 lives and therefore 9 times the brains as him. Of course, now that he knew how much more absurdly powerful she was than him, that cute little wink and meow suddenly felt more unsettling than anything else. To hear that joining this clown crew had all been because of losing a game felt strange to the man, "What kinda game? Were you drunk?" he asked, confused about how she could have been picked up by this crew. "Betting your freedom sounds so dumb that it'd probably be something I'd do- and I can admit that I'm probably retarded" he said. If he didn't have freedom, what else was he living for? Sure the drugs and the booze kept him going like fuel for an engine, but without the road to travel on, all that shit might have been pointless.

The carpenter shivered a bit, hungry for some munchies, but fought off the urges. They were almost at what looked like the main dockyards, where a small crowd had assembled to watch them disembark. Strange. "So why are ya' doin any of this then? Being a pirate and all that. You got a dream or somethin' your trying to reach?" he asked the cat zoan, interested. He had his reasons, even if they were buried underneath a mountain of poor life choices, but he had his reasons for being here. He had a reason to keep living. He just tried to hide it with a mask of his own making.

Sylvia didn't really remember them, not hearing much about that person after entering into the grand line, and now that she thought about it, didn't that same person say, tell anyone I hired you, and you're dead? Maybe that's why Sylvia didn't take any note of that girl. "Well didn't she say not to tell people about her hiring us, if you do, you'll be killed?" Sylvia said smiling saying something else. "Well, maybe, but it's the words of your higher ranking crew member." She said in a cute way, saying it in slow motion, Sylvia would correct him on one thing. "Bet my freedom? I don't recall saying that, I said i'll join a pirate crew so therefore, from my knowledge pirates are free people that do anything they like, long as they don't disobey their captain, like right now I'm free to do anything I desire, sooooo my freedom is still very much alive." Sylvia said, knowing her own words when making any type of deal with people, she knew, it was a small chance of losing to that clown, so unlike other deals Sylvia didn't bet her freedom.

"My dream is to be the top chef in the world, but truth be told I'm already that, and being a pirate wasn't my plan if anything I was happy taking pirates in, but once I got one it can't be helped, that little crime on the ship got me 80,000,000." She said like it didn't matter it just happened so she lives with it, that was her whole mindset about this. Sylvia would ask him the same question. "So why are you here, you didn't get a bounty so you're not forced to become a pirate, so what is your dream?" She asked her red eye's looking right towards him, waiting for a response, not really knowing much about this man.

Rob blinked, "Oh shit, she did say that. Damn, I forgot. Well, uhh, just, like, pretend I didn't say anything about it and we can forget it was brought up" the carpenter said, recalling the busty Asylum's words that night when she had rounded them all up in her hideout. "I'm too horny to get killed" the man cried as images of his viscious and merciless death at the hands of the pirate began flooding his mind. God, why did he have to keep stepping on the toes of people ludicrously stronger than him? Why couldn't he just be a mook and leave things at that? He was too lazy to give a shit about getting stronger or anything like that.

The man made an 'o' shape as Sylvia went on to explain how, despite losing the bet, she was now more free than ever before. Rob could get down with that, having the freedom to drink, get high, and get naked in public all sounded like rights that he would support. He didn't have a bounty yet though, he was still just a minnow, he could always dip out in case things got out of hand. "How's it feel? Bein' free with nothin' to tie you down?" he asked her, scratching his nose as he did so. At least she had a dream, he knew that much. Still, he hadn't learned that much besides that she was a killer cook who he would mooch off of in the future. "Yeah, but like, what now?" he asked her before finding the tables turned on him.

His own dream? Rob thought about it for a surprising amount of time considering his standard ADHD nature. He had sort of fallen into a string of priate-related events accidentally, the consequences of just going with the flow. Still, no matter how much he tried to cover it up, he knew that there was one goal calling him. "I want to be the greatest carpenter alive" he started, although once he said it out loud he immediately felt himself cringe. That came out wrong. Rob looked down at his feet as they hanged there while the two sat on the rialing, "My dad was a carpenter, one of the best in the Blues. His favorite creation though was always me, and my 29 younger siblings" the man said, rubbing the back of his neck. "One day, some pirate showed up and ordered a ship unlike any other, it was a real beast. My dad knew the guy was up to no good and turned him down, only to get butchered like a fuckin' pig" Rob grunted, wishing he had some booze.

"My dad dead, all 29 siblings of mine taken, and my mom as well. I couldn't do anything. I hid under the table and just tried to pretend I wasn't there. I still can't forgive myself for just fucking hiding the whole time" Rob grunted, clearly agitated at being sober enough to feel the memories flooding back to him. Still, he managed to calm himself with a few deep breaths. "Since that day, I swore to be the best carpenter in the world, make the greatest ship to ever sail, and find the sunova bitch who took everything from me. So, I guess that's the closest thing I've got to a dream" he said with a shrug, despite monologuing on Sylvia for a while.

As the two would speak, the mooks on deck would guide the ship into the port, where a small crowd was now standing on the docks watching them approach. Shouts of, "If you've got beli to buy with, this here port is the only place to use it!" one informed as they held up tubes of paint for the visitors. Rob turned from Sylvia to look at the locals as the mooks tied their ship down to the docks, lowering a wooden plank for everyone to disembark from. "Ponchos! Get your ponchos here! If you don't get one, you'll lose all your color the next time it rains!" another yelled. The clown mooks bought ponchos and haggled with the locals, all while some of the larger clowns grabbed performance gear and carried them out onto the docks where a wagon was waiting. It seemed they were going to perform and spread the news of the clowns, "We doin' some kind of show?" he asked Sylvia as he stood up to disembark. He was eager to get off this boat.

Sylvia had a cute smile, but evil being behind it. "Oh, so now I can blackmail you." She said looking at him, but then looked up thinking. "But now that I think about it, I already could tell you what to do, as your higher ranking crew member?" She pouted for a second then, thinking it would be no fun from blackmailing him. "I don't think it's fun, no challenge, I wish I could just be a Shichibukai and rule over my island again, I wasn't a queen, but I still took control over it." She said missing that simple life being on a ship all the time, just gets boring. "Too horny to get killed?" She said, letting out a laugh, Sylvia thinking of him a little different from the time back on the mission, he didn't speak that much and just followed orders. "You're a little different then I remember back on that mission," Sylvia said smiling.

By the sounds of it, his life hasn't been easy, but she did have her own story looking at him. "I see it sounds like it was hard for you, but at least you can still fight for something, I use to live in the grand line, before my father moved me towards the blue sea, because they worried about my talents, but doesn't shock me your a carpenter giving you like having your hands over everything." She said standing up smiling once more, having a slight blush. "I better be careful I don't get drunk around you, who knows what you might do." She said playing games, but Sylvia was attractive everyone seeing her as beautiful. Sylvia knew where she was. "Oh, I have been here before, I don't need a poncho, but I'm not sure if they will put on a show, I'm letting them do as they pleased," Sylvia said not wishing to really take the lead role of being that boss figure only doing it when it's fun.

As Sylvia followed Rob off the boat, the man would keep an ear perked up as she slowly responded to the torrent of shite he had thrown at her. At least she could listen, that was something. The carpenter shoved some of the locals aside who were trying to sell him stuff, and moved with the general congregation of mooks towards the main road that led from the visitor's docks to the center of the island. "Yeah, you're the boss, since apparently I'm in this crew now" he said with a shrug as he tossed a few coins over to one of the vendors who was selling a brand of rum he recognised. Feeling a bit more comfortable to have his child back in his hands, Rob tilted his head back and let the liquor flow into his throat while Sylvia continued. He gave a gross belch as he looked down with her with half-opened eyes.

"Schibukai? You? I'm scummy and even I know that's a fools errand" he responded, not minding the woman's laugh at his brash reason to keep living. She had a point though, his demanour back on Teriyaki had been fairly different than he was now. Rob gave Sylvia a shrug as he walked, "Wouldn't you be a little more quiet if a crazy but sexy pirate was trynna' order you around? You wouldn't even manage a fear-fart I think" he concluded, defending his actions and his overall weak fortitude. "There was only one real lesson I learned from that shite, but it was a good one: never stick your dick in crazy" he said, imparting some sage-like advice on the woman as the two continued walking behind the cart which was carrying a number of objects to the center of the island.

It was only mildly-respectful that he at least try to pay attention when Sylvia went on about her own past. So she was some rich kid who's daddy shipped her off to the blues? The story sounded like a familiar one, but tossing in a devil fruit and an 80,000,000 bounty ended any similarities. Her teasing earned a cheeky, but brief grin, from the red haired carpenter, "Aye, you'd best stick ta' that" he agreed before promptly walking into the back of the cart and feeling his face smack into the back of it with a sickening 'thud'. Rob yelped at the sudden pain, falling onto his back and clutching his nose as he stood up off the ground. Obviously quite upset at the surprise, the man walked past the full cart to give the driver a stern talking-to, only to see that the group of mooks was looking on petrified at the figure in front of them.

It was a clown. The gruff and sloppily dressed clown frowned at them all as he took a puff of a cigar, "I spy with my little eye, a couple'a color-rich tourists passin' my road wid no ponchos. It'd by trouble if'a ya clown brothers met sum trouble..." the gangster-clown said as he looked over the small entourage of mooks. The clown gave a small smile and honked his horn three times quickly. A blur of numerous masked clowns in dreadfully mismatching colors lepft from the nearby treeline. Five of the uncounted ambushers rushed directly toward Sylvia and Rob from all directions. It was a clown vs. clown ambush!

She would see him pick up a bottle of rum drinking already, guess that was just the life of the pirate, well not her but others. "I could be one, it would just take a lot of time." She said, pouting, but it wasn't a simple task. "It's not my dream or anything, it would just make life a lot easier and being on a ship all day." She thought. She would laugh looking at him. "But I am a crazy sexy pirate, so I can't be scared of me." She said smiling, showing his advice was pointless, her story was not the same, as she was kicked out for showing too much skill at a young age, she would just keep walking straight not knowing what the clowns of Clara's crew wish to do here, but anything was fine, as long if she didn't disagree with it. Sylvia had a blank expression, facing this crew. "I am not a clown, I just happen to be in a crew with them you joker!" She said yelling pouting once more, but then many more came running as Sylvia would yawn, raising both hands into the air, showing a smile.

"If you wish for a show, I'll share this attack's name." She said telling them right away her fingernails glowing blue. "Destroying Aura, Claws Of Destruction." With that a blue Shockwave travel to all the people running at her, being cut and blast down one after the other, with Sylvia doing this until they all fell, not wishing to really try using her devil fruit with people we'ret she didn't think were much of a problem yet, if anything this was Sylvia's fun attack as it was unique and not just anyone could develop the ability, of shock waves, like Sylvia has.

Rob yelped as the hooligans jumped out of the wood, ambushing the caravan of clowns. He held his bottle of booze close and his common sense closer as he squatted down to let everyone else do the fighting for him. It was time for Sylvia to show what she had. The carpenter watched as the girl raised her blue-tipped nails back, only to lash out with them at the clowns in front of her. Rob lept down onto the groun, army crawling with his bottle until he was safely hiding under the cart, his head poking out enough so that he could cleary see Sylvia taunting the other clowns. The mooks she hit were being knocked down like they were bowling pins practically, it was as if the lightest touch had devastated them.

Yeesh, this was the level of Grand Line pirates alright. The fairly useless carpenter continued hiding like a man as he watched ambush continue. The attacking clowns seemed to have gained the upper hand, as the Harlequin mooks hadn't seemed to think to bring too many weapons. Strangely enough though, Rob could notice that some of the ambushers were splashing their victims with strange coats of paint. Rob felt his face, like the rest of this island, turn white as he saw the color literally drip from the victimized clowns down into small puddles on the ground. This wasn't just any normal bandit raid, these clowns were attacking them to steal their color!

The carpenter narrowed his gaze as he saw other bandits running up with large sponges and absorbing the color, stealing away with it and disappearing into the forest. "Do something!" he shouted at Sylvia, despite being acutely aware of how he was hiding like a wuss while all the action was going on. It seemed their leader had taken notice of how the cook had offed his men, and reacted by charging at her, bucket of anti-color liquid in hand. "This is for roughin' up muh boys!" he shouted, tossing the contents of the anti-color at Sylvia. If she was hit, she would lose all the color on her and her clothes!

"I didn't say this, but I really dislike clowns, and yes, that counts my own captain!" She said still attacking over and over each time, making sure they didn't have a chance to counter-attack, Sylvia was looking like she was having a lot of fun then heard an annoying man yell out, she would speak to him, finding it boring he was hiding. "Get out from there and fight, it's kind of sad your letting the lady do all the work." But then she heard something odd a new person ran as Sylvia looked up the liquid coming right at her, but she dodges it, but how? Sylvia disappeared, but if you looked below everyone would see a Leopard, as Sylvia pushed herself forward with both feet jumping onto him ready to bite his neck open, but only did that to scare him stopping changing back holding him down with both arms. "I guess you like this much better, I can't talk when I'm in a full leopard mode, so, lucky you." She said being annoyed a little, having a smile.

"So that thing was going to make lose all my color, should I kill you? I wonder?" Sylvia said her red eye's becoming sharper each second. "Where is that carpenter, if you don't get out of here right now, you'll be the next one getting a bite, wait he might like that?" She had the thought looking up, "Well get out of here anyway, it's not my job to work, it's the lower levels job." She said waiting for him to come out once more, hoping he would.

Rob felt his eyes go wide as he watched Sylvia suddenly disappear for a moment from his vision. He though for sure that splash of color drainer was going to hit her, yet all it arced across was empty air. A loud roaring sound was heard as a flash of yellow dashed forwards, leaping onto the foolish clown that had tried to attack her. The red head fell silent as he watched Sylvia get ready to eviscerate the color bandit. Still, Rob was spared from seeing a scene from a bad trip and instead slowly crawled out from underneath the cart at his commander's request. He could hear more sounds of fighting all around him, but it seemed as though the ambush was quickly ending, with only those final few stragglers remaining behind to fend off their compatriot's escape.

The carpenter stood next to the half-leopard Sylvia, it was surreal seeing a Zoan for the first time, although he was familiar with the legends growing up in the Blues. "Bite, no" he sluggishly replied to the kinky leopard. At hearing her order him to do something, the man sort of just shuffled in place and looked around at the scene around him. The place was pretty hectic. It was apparent that their attackers hadn't been out to hurt them, instead they were after the many colors that the clowns had on them. Almost all of the mooks on hand were pale white from head to toe, their clothing reduced to looking like chalk. It was depressing to be honest.

"Uhh, they got us good boss" he said with his accurate summary of how they had all just been bamboozled. The biggest shock was seeing the carts they had been walking alongside become completely white. The colorful building material for their sets and circus tent had been completely drained of all color. Some of the more clown-y members of the crew weeped, how could they spread the good message of the Harlequeen now? Rob blinked slowly before looking down to the prisoner Sylvia had pinned down. "Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey" he repeated, nudging his leather hard-toed boot against the captive clown's cheek. "Shaddap!" the captive said in frustration at being left behind to the annoying redhead.

"Why you steal our color? Why you gotta be so rude?" Rob asked the clown, earning a sneer as Sylvia's plaything looked between the two. "Color is worth more than gold here, we Color Capture Clowns take from the rich and give to the somethin' somethin'" the hoodlum jeered. Well, that was just cricket wasn't it? The carpenter looked around at the depressed and defeated looking mooks that were traveling with them, it was pitiful seeing how their spirits had been crushed. Gah, was he already getting attached to these weirdos and their weirdo clown theme? Rob sighed, this whole thing was like a fever dream. "Alright, how do we get it back. We got a circus show to put on for the locals, straight from the Harlqueen herself" the man asked, his eyes half open as he looked down at the squirming Color Captor.

At hearing the name of the crew, the captive suddenly grew pale. "Y-you two are Harlequins?" he asked, looking to Sylvia with a sudden look of fear in his eyes. Evidently, despite being the only real clown-themed crew, these hoodlums hadn't thought to think their ambush through or to recognize their victims. Rob gave a nod, it was time to be srs. "I-I'll never rat my partners out! That color of yours i-is as good as g-gone!" he shouted defiantly. By now, the mooks had gathered around Rob and Sylvia and looked down at the captive clown with a look of pure hatred. He had gotten in the way of their circus, he had dun goofed. "Sylvia, make the bad clown talk" Rob said, leaving it to his boss to bring the pain to this poor poor underling. They would get revenge for this crime, the crew's reputation depended on it!
