Well if nothing else did it was clear that a crotch shot was going to get all the attention away from her. She made sharp ninety degree turns to corner around the fight and get back to Geralf, he was picking at some of the paint cans that got thrown over towards this direction without bursting. ”Ah I’ve only got a bit left, I keep emergency stuff in my hat. Not exactly bombs but… Oh, OH! Oil paints, I wasn’t even thinking like that. Of course it’s oil paint.” Dahlia grinned like someone had just given her a box full of gold. ”Looks like you’re going to get that opening, I can use my stuff to turn these cans into bombs. Don’s only gonna buy a few minutes of keeping him in one place, but this aut to make enough smoke he will not be able to see as well as staggering. If you can poison him in that time, that’ll be your only chance. Now grab as many of the undamaged cans as you can I’ll get to work. She cracked her knuckles and flipped her hat down showing a few instruments inside as well as wicks and small doses of gunpowder. She secured down the lids so that they would be unable to come off and then punched a hole in the top, stuck a wick in and sealed the rest of the hole. The bomb crafting didn’t take even thirty seconds to get all that there was. She looked over to the combat again, it looked like blowes were starting to get exchanged in earnest now. ”Alright Doc, get into position and I’ll toss bombs as soon as your in position.” Dahlia had about four ‘bombs’ at this point and they were bigger than her so dragging them around was a little harder. Of course these would most likely simply light on fire and slosh that all over this big guy but that was probably a good thing. Maybe it would even make it a moot point to poison him. ”here goes nothing. Hey! catch!” Dahlia lit the cans up and chucked them over at the huge man. For whatever reason The zoan user did reach up and catch the cans in his hand, squeezing them sloshing paint all over him. For a few seconds nothing happened but then all at once the paint lit on fire, engulfing the man in a powerful yet short lived fireball. The heat was such that Dahlia had to turn her face away from the fire as it blew back. |

Amos didn’t know what was going on but he could see his friend fighting for his life against the giant furry creature. Amos had to help. However, if don was having such a difficult time then the enemy had to be tough. He could make use of his new fruit to hide where he was. That could help him provide supportive fire that Don might need. Amos quickly pulled out his can of paint and was about to spray it over himself before he paused. He had been trying to meet up with Don for some time now. It wouldn’t do to turn invisible and get separated. Instead, Amos slung his bow and arrows off his back and quickly sprayed them to become invisible. Shooting the bow was harder when it was invisible but muscle memory of firing it for his entire life helped. Same with the arrows. He tossed the invisible quiver of arrows onto his back and held the bow in front of him. He could hit from this distance, if only barely. Amos thought he had to be about three hundred feet away. If he wanted his shots to have any force to them he would need to get closer. So, he did. Amos was far quicker than Don and, apparently, this lumbering giant. That helped him close the gap despite how they were running around. As he got closer, Amos noticed another Fishman and a very tiny creature doing something. Amos wasn’t sure who they were but they didn’t look like enemies; Amos concentrated on the large man. Amos ran until he was standing behind him a ways and probably couldn’t be seen due to the large mass of man in front of him. Amos had only glanced the three people on the other side while he ran but he could not see them anymore. Amos took aim and fired an invisible arrow at the back of the giant’s knees. He fired again at the other knee. Amos couldn’t be sure if the attacks were having any effect on the monster. It would have helped if he could see his face. Amos reached up to grab a third arrow but stopped when his hand felt the familiar texture of the oak arrows. He could fire those and grow a tree right beneath the creature. The drop alone would be enough to severely injure him, no matter how tough he was. The problem was that Amos didn’t want to kill this man. He didn’t know what had caused the fight. If he missed the ground below him and shot the man instead…. Amos’ mind flashed back to the sight of the tree growing through the child. Sure, the child was invisible but Amos could see where his body was due to the outline of the tree. He could also see where he was due to the massive bloodstain on the tree. No, Amos moved his hand off that arrow and grabbed another one. He didn’t need to fire that arrow in this situation. He couldn’t have a repeat of that last incident. Amos notched the arrow and prepared to fire when something entirely unexpected happened. A large fire burst forth from the gargantuan creature. His entire body seemed to be engulfed in flames and Amos could smell the stench of burning fur and flesh – even from this far away. Amos couldn’t see the creature’s face but the howl of pain that he unleashed was loud enough to make Amos cover his ears. Clearly the creature was in pain. Yet, it still stood. Most of its fur seemed to be gone at this point due to the massive amount of fire. Amos could see skin that was sloughing off from the flames on the creature’s back. It was clearly severely injured from the blast and yet it stood. Amos had to admire its dedication. Amos didn’t know where the fire had come from but he didn’t really care. He was support fighter. Don was fighting this creature. It was Amos’ job to bring the creature down to eye level for him (and the two others that Amos didn’t know. He only focused on Don because he happened to know him). Amos dashed forwards until he was closer. He could hit hm from that far back easily, but he wouldn’t be able to get a well-aimed shot off and this situation seemed to call for an extremely well placed shot. If he couldn’t cause much damage with arrows in general, then he would need to make sure that the arrows landed in a sensitive area. Amos stopped a few meters behind the giant and aimed towards his calves. No matter how strong you were, everyone would be floored once they had their Achille’s tendon pierced. Amos had felled many a strong beast b y shooting a similar spot on them. There was just nothing you could do once that happened. Amos could only hope that his arrows would pierce there. It seemed the creature had an extremely tough hide. He wasn’t positive but Amos hoped that it wouldn’t extend to his calves. Amos took aim and quickly went through his steps to shooting in his head. It only took a fraction of a second but he ran through the basics as he aimed. Sight picture. That meant don’t move your head once you had your aim, otherwise your picture would be off when you put it back. Check. Steady position. Amos dug his feet in a little bit. Bows typically had very little to no recoil when compared to guns but there was still some. He didn’t want to be pushed out of his spot. That could mess with the aim of future shots, though the world never allowed things to go optimally. Check. Breathing. That meant that he needed to shoot between breaths or at the end of an exhale. That was so that your body wouldn’t be shaking from a lack of oxygen while you held your breath to aim. Amos took a deep breath in and exhaled. Check. Trigger squeeze. The term normally applied to guns but it worked the same for bows. He needed to release in one single swoop and not hesitate. Hesitating would cause the string to shoot the arrow into an odd direction. Check. Amos let the arrow loose. He watched it soar through the air and pierce the creature’s tendon. He let out another monstrous howl as he finally fell to one knee. techniques

Geralf watched as the Devil Fruit user burst out in flames, the smell of searing flesh was a bit unappetizing to the fishman’s heightened sense of smell but he could not really tell if he liked it or not, after all, he is a carnivore by nature. It was then that it crossed his mind that he still had the canisters of paint in hand, torn between to toss the remaining cans or not. The doctor thought that if he tossed the paint it might douse the flames, in turn putting it out and just hope that the beast was exhausted enough to even retaliate. On the other hand, he could just wait for the flames to die out and just wait for the outcome. Choosing the latter, Geralf dropped the canisters and stands up. Seemingly contented with what he is seeing at the moment, the beast was now a flaming ragdoll as he screamed in agony. The flames had burnt most of the fur off by now, leaving an open wound seared to about a second degree burn. “I think that should do it.” Geralf tipped his hat but his eyes were still glued at the pirate, then a few moments later, the pirate suddenly fell to his knee as he screamed louder this time around. The doctor could make out someone in front, just a few meters behind the pirate. His features were nothing unusual save for his uniquely colored beard which stood out, ‘Hmmmm.. Another one of them I presume?’ Geralf held a firm grip on his cane, once again bracing himself for another battle if needed but maintained his composure. The pirate was heaving heavily, he looked tired and dehydrated. The flames had already died out, leaving a steaming, burning flesh as blisters started to form around the wounds. It is the body’s natural line of defense to cool the burn down so it would heal faster, but the pain would be excruciating. Geralf knew he had to act fast, he knew that if the pirate recovers they would be done for and maybe of the guy in front of them was hostile; there would be fewer opponents to fight against, simple and logical. The doctor pulled out another syringe and ran towards the pirate, and as he got near, Geralf lifts his arm and jams the needle down hard. But, even thought the thick fur had already burned off, the skin underneath was not tender enough for a thin needle to puncture. The needle simply broke off, “Damn it! His hide is really thick!” At the same time, the doctor noticed the pirate’s shoulder muscle twitched, and in a matter of seconds, Geralf was slammed with a strong backhand launching him a few feet away. |

Don sprinted away from the beast, this time holding nothing back as she shot towards the other two. To his relief; they didn't fail him. What happened next came as a surprise to the fishman, since all he had planned with Dahlia was the administration of poison. Instead, the girl lobbed something overhead Don and behind him, flying at the oxen captain. Don's head turned as he still ran, witnessing the giant beast as he reached out to catch the projectiles, only for paint to splash out on him. Paint? Don was thinking that the paint had been poisoned, but instead of poison; there was fire. The beast was lit aflame, roaring and letting out cries of anguish. The creature slowed its momentum, stumbling forth and barely staying standing as it was burned alive. Don stopped as well, slowing down his pace and spinning around. Don didn't know what the other fishman and the short girl had planned while he was stalling, but it was working amazingly. Despite his thick hide and incredibly powerful muscles; the beast wasn't invincible. Hell, Don actually had no idea if his hardened scales could resist that fire. Unfortunately for Don, despite the fire's intensity; the burst of flames was brief. Is he dead? Don stood there motionless for a second, not sure if he should act. The other fishman made his decision earlier though, sprinting past Don. "Huh?" Don was already so focused on the beast's body that he didn't react in time, unable to say anything before the other fishman attempted to attack the ox. Don saw this and instantly sprinted after him, but it was already too late. As the other fishman attacked, with what Don could barely make out to be a syringe; the oxen-captain moved. His massive arm slammed against the fishman doctor, sending him flying off. Shit. Don moved in, using this attack as a window for opportunity. It was at that moment when a miracle arrived. Don could just barely see what happened, but it seemed something shot into the ox's heel. The shot clearly wasn't any normal one, as it caused the beast to wail in pain and fall to one knee. Here goes nothing. This is my best shot at felling him. As Don neared a 3 meter distance from the beast, his scales hardened once more. The fishman bent low, arms reached out as he kicked off and shot towards the giant ox-pirate. The fishman's nails became sharp, as if they could cut through sheets of iron. The fishman let out a roar and slashed across the ox's chest, quickly shifting to his side and then letting out a powerful punch right after. The ox stumbled to its side, falling over and grasping the cuts. It was already debilitated by something that hit it earlier, and was left wide open as Don cut into it. Blood poured out of its massive body, and Don had no doubt that the punch right after did some damage too. The cut looked the most graphic, but the punch likely caused internal damaging. As the beast fell to the ground and wailed out in pain, Don stopped in his tracks and caught sight of someone behind the beast. Did he shoot the beast? Don was fairly sure the man he was now seeing had helped out. In fact, the man seemed rather familiar. Wait, Amos? techniques

Everything happened really fast after the fire stopped, but there was only one thing that she needed to pay attention to. ”Oh crap! Doc! Dahlia ran over to where Geralf had landed, making sure that he wasn’t actually dead or something. Thankfully it looked like he was even clinging onto consciousness, and definitely wouldn’t be what some might consider dead on his feet. Being sure of that she could turn back to the scene where the huge guy was down on the ground. ”Whooo! Take that losers! That aut to teach you and your stupid crew not to be so racist and stupid.” She didn’t really look around before that but getting closer now, there was definitely another guy standing off to the side standing like he just shot a bow, even though his hands were empty. ”Oh who’s this now.” he definitely wasn’t part of muscle brain’s crew or anything like that. ” I’m really really not in the mood to get into another fight right away, and I don’t really have enough paint to light more people on fire. It’s starting to be just one thing after another here, and I’m running out of speeches to give that take up a lot of time.” Of course her sentence was followed up by another noise, the sound of feet on the ground, and a lot of them. The little dwarf looked around for the source of the noise but, then the idea floated past her mind. ’Well that’s probably the mob or something that’s angry about all that paint I stole. Maybe the Marines’ She scurried up onto the rubble near the store to get a better vantage on whether they were coming from town or the docs. Turns out it was both, a couple dosen white vested people marching in from both sides. She couldn’t tell if there was anyone in charge of either of them but it was save to assume. She started packing what she had left of black powder down into her bomb cases in her hat. ”So, these guys are probably half here from the commotion and half cause I just stole like, a lot of monies worth of paint. And also broke all of it on that guy. We should get ready, cause I’m getting tired of people bothering me about stuff. I already tried being nice.” She giggled a little madly and coughed into her hand to stop herself. |

Amos watched the creature fall. Two fishman had ran up and attacked it, though one was thrown backwards. He wasn’t sure, but he thought the other Fishman was Don. Took me long enough to find him. What problems has he gotten us into now? Amos thought as he began to hear footsetps. They were coming from both sides of them. “Shit…if that’s more trouble. If this burnt guy caused that much trouble for the three of them, they are probably exhausted.” Amos muttered to himself as he considered his options. Then, he heard the very tiny – she was so small that Amos almost missed her – girl speak. She expected trouble. Amos glanced around to see what she had seen and immediately it became apparent. Marines. Amos felt his heart rate speed up as he saw them. He didn’t want to run but those three were probably too tired to adequately fight the marines. Luckily, Amos wasn’t a normal human anymore. Amos dashed forward, intending to reach Don and his companions. He was only a few feet away when a bullet flew by and nicked Amos cheek. It was more of a cut, as the bullet flew past and through the back of his hood. Amos immediately received a flash of memory. This had happened to him once before. It was back when he had first met Don when that Lieutenant had shot at him. The Sniper that he had barely escaped from, as the obvious loser of the fight at that. If it was the same guy, Amos would make sure he got his revenge. He could still remember the pain that the man had caused by shooting him in the leg. First, though, there were three people who might need his help. Amos finished running to the three and huffed. “Hey, Don. I don’t know these other two but if you are too tired to fight, I may have a way out of this. I..uh…I ate a Devil Fruit. I can turn all three of you invisible, so you can make it out of here.” |

“GAAAHHHHH!” Geralf yelled out in pain as he stumbled and barrel-rolled a few meters away before coming to a stop, he felt a sharp pain on the left portion of his body as it became clear that it was coming from his arm and maybe his ribs. Something is broken, but he was still distraught with what happened. He struggled to regain his focus and composure; His vision, blurry. His hearing, impaired. ‘Breathe, breathe.’ The doctor kept telling himself knowing that panicking at this moment won’t do him any good aside from a faster blood flow which if he had an open wound, it would result in a massive blood loss. “Unngghhh.” Geralf rolled and managed to face the ground, the more he moved the more pain he felt. Clenching his teeth as he lifts his right arm and plants in on the ground, again struggling to get up on his feet, pushing himself up and at the same time pushing his right knee underneath and got himself into a kneeling position. Haaa, haaaa, haaaa. Breathing heavily, Geralf felt his left arm go limp. A rush of adrenaline on his bloodstream had already lessened the pain; he reached for his left rib and felt an irregularity on the bottom two, ‘Fractured rib.. Left shoulder dislocated.. Need to.. Put it back..’ He was still heaving and gasping for air, a good sign; Punctured lung, negative. The doctor scrambled to find scraps of wood but managed to find none in the vicinity, and so to prevent himself from biting his tongue, he tore off a piece of his sleeve and rolled it into a piece that could fit on his mouth and bit it. ‘One, two..’ Geralf takes a hold of his left wrist and slowly pulls his arm which then creates traction and by the elasticity of the muscle, his shoulder snaps back in placed but at the cause of the rush of pain. “NNNGGGGHHHHH!!!” The doctor cried out in pain through the cloth as he bit hard on it, almost fainting as he fell back wards. Haaa, haaaa, haaaa. Edited by Nixiv, Mar 11 2018, 05:20 PM.

As giant oxen-pirate hit the ground, Don felt a pressure lay off his shoulders. The relief he felt when that beast was finally felled gave him a fresh breath of air. At the same time though, his adrenaline faded and the fatigue from fighting for so long caught up to him. He didn't pay much conscious attention to his heavy breath though, since there was something much more important in the moment. Quite frankly, Don wasn't even sure if Amos was still on this island. For all he knew, he could have never seen the guy again. Of course, most of his mind knew that Amos wouldn't just leave him like that; but a part of Don was worried. After all, he had no idea how long he was knocked out for. Combining that with the dire situation Don last saw Amos in; his pirate crew-mate could have been forced off the island whether he liked it or not. All of this new information was too much to process though, and the lack of oxygen going to Don's brain from all the fighting caused him to just pause for a moment. The sounds and voices flowed into his ears, but they flew out just as easily. BANG A loud gunshot broke through his muddled mind, Don's eyes snapping open and his concentration focusing. He'd picked up some of their talking about marines arriving. Not again. For once, Don had thought he was out in the clear. Good things don't come that easily though. Amos rushed up to him, and Don glanced up to his pal. Something he noticed was a cut on the archer's cheek, and that was when Don remembered the gunshot. "Devil fruit?...." Don rubbed his temples as he lost focus, losing his train of thought and becoming slightly slurred. "Um, yeah... yeah that's good. Those two helped me out, let's get them and get out of here." The fishman pointed over to Geralf and Dahlia, motioning to follow and sprinting over. There was also the pressing issue of someone firing guns at them, something which kept Don from lowering his defences. Thankfully; maintaining his hardened scales was a relatively easy task. "Alright listen," Don said as he neared Dahlia and Geralf. "That guy's my friend. He can turn us invisible and get us out of here. Don't question it for now, we just need to leave." Don crouched down to check Geralf's condition. Don wasn't as deeply rooted in surgical studies as the other fishman, but he could complete simply procedures. Quickly checking up on his body, it seemed that the fishman luckily had minimal injuries. Don was able to briefly catch sight of Geralf right as he pushed his dislocated shoulder back into place, but otherwise he seemed alright. Don reached out to try and help the fishman up, hoping to put his arm over Don's shoulders and then to help him to his feet if he accepted. "Amos, come! You can make us invisible right? Let's do this quick." |

Dahlia ran over to them, she couldn’t really help Geralf out unless he actually collapsed, so she approached. She stood about five feet away for maximum within sight contact obviously breathing heavily through her bruises were invisible as most of her skin was covered by her clothes. ”I-I don’t think fighting alone is such a good Idea. pant I’ve got all I’ve got left here. It’s all bombs, maybe a small hand full for you but they explode bigger than you might think.” She dumped all of the remaining small bombs out. ”They should explode with enough concussive force, but if you wanted to ignite them that would work too.” She looked back at the docks, they were starting to round the corner now, but there was no telling how many of them there were. Thankfully it seemed that as opposed to attacking right away, like the sensible people of her home island, they were going to make a speech first. ”Attention Pirates, you are under arrest, drop your weapons and do not resist.” A pointless gesture really, they couldn’t actually think that was going to work. They might be thinking that the group was too tired to fight, and they might be right if it weren’t for Amos showing up. They weren't even very close right now, probably planning on opening a fire line as soon as it was clear that no surrender was going to happen. Dahlia could feel the urge well up to tell them off, after all the marines didn’t normally have any authority over her in the first place, nothing changed when she left, they just thought they did. She waited till the last second before Amos made them disappear before shouting at them. ”Come get me if you can Dummies! If you can find me anyhow!” She cackled loudly just after getting covered in paint. |

Amos followed Don. So the two were indeed allies. That was good to know. He was hoping that he wouldn’t have to fight the two. When he arrived at the trio, he glanced towards the small one who dropped a handful of bombs. She mentioned fighting alone being a bad idea. He agreed that it would be a bad idea. However, that sniper had tried to kill him once before. The same could be said for Don, Nick, and Creed. He wouldn’t just let the man go now that he knew that he was on this island. “Thanks”, Amos said as he pocketed the bombs. They made him uneasy. If they truly held some destructive force then it would be difficult to not get others involved in the fight. He’d have to use them here after they turned invisible.” Take a deep breath.” Amos pulled out a can of spray paint and sprayed the little one with the bombs first. She didn’t use much paint so it didn’t take long. Next, he sprayed the injured fishman. He was really tall, so it took a little longer. Amos could see the marines getting even closer. No matter, no shots were fired since the one that grazed Amos. That was clearly the sniper and he was giving off a warning shot. Or a greeting. Finally, Amos sprayed Don down. He looked towards all three of them but couldn’t see where they were at all. “Don’t worry. I won’t be fighting them all. I’ll meet you guys back in town if you just let me know where to show up.” Amos said as he sprayed himself down and disappeared from sight. He didn’t know if the marines knew to look for them or how to locate invisible people. To be honest, Amos didn’t know the true extent of his power. Would there blood be invisible if they got hurt? He didn’t know, but he didn’t want to find out.

Geralf laid there for a few minutes now, he was slipping in and out of consciousness. He could hear voices around him, surely the tiny voice would be Dahlia’s and the other one should be Don’s but the other voice he didn’t recognize. ‘Damn that hurts, this wasn’t supposed to happen.’ The doctor then reached onto his pocket with his able hand, ‘Where are those pain killers when you need them.’ Figuring out he had none to begin with, he simply gave up and just pulled out a bandage. With the other end on his mouth, Geralf secured his left arm by binding it close to his body so to prevent it from moving. His breath became shallow; the pain was suddenly becoming more intense as the rush of adrenaline fades through his blood stream, his senses had already started to normalize, his hearing was back as he hears voices and footsteps coming from both sides which made it clear that they were going for a pincer. ‘Are they the marines?’ ”Attention Pirates, you are under arrest, drop your weapons and do not resist.” ‘What? Pirates? I’m not even one of them! I'm a doctor for god's sake!’ Geralf struggled as he got up, his knees are weak, left arm is heavy supported by his other hand. He noticed the bearded guy got up close; he seemed to be Don’s friend. Good, he wasn’t hostile. He talked about using his spray paint to turn them invisible which baffled Geralf even more, but he was in no position to contradict, anything to get him out of this mess, the sooner the better for his useless arm. When desperation kicks in, Geralf was the type to just agree upon anything if it would help increase his rate of survivability. As Amos began to empty the contents of the can on them, Geralf saw how their body started to vanish though he could still feel himself. There are always things for firsts and this was a first for the doctor, it was something that science could not explain which leaves him a bit weary of the situation. Don waited as Amos took out some can, pointing it at Dahlia for some reason. Don had no idea what a can of spray paint was, so he was double surprised as it shot something out and turned the little girl invisible. She was already hard to see, but now she was literally impossible to see. After doing that, Amos turned the other fishman invisible, followed by Don himself. As that all finished, Amos didn't turn himself invisible too - instead telling them to go head off as he did something. Don was slightly weary of Amos' tone, but he trusted the guy enough to not get in any major trouble. "Alright." Already being nearby Geralf before the painting, Don reached out and tapped the fishman on his arm. "Lets get out of here. We should find a boat and ready it to get the fuck outta here." Don looked around as he heard Dahlia shouting, a migraine creeping up as he heard her shouting. "You too! Don't try and pull anything, we'd best leave quickly." Don whistled out, Gruff walking out from some shrubbery not long after. It couldn't see Don, but it wasn't confused as it could smell him. The familiar scent allowed it to walk towards Don and find him, nuzzling against his invisible leg. "You guys can see Gruff, and he's too small for the marines to spot. They'll think he's some wild animal anyways. Follow him so we can stick close, we'll head for the docks." Don shouted that last part back at Amos so he would know where they were going, quickly turning off and heading off to the docks right after. Gruff followed in tow, acting somewhat as a beacon for the others to follow. Don was glad to be done and over with that large oxen beast, but now they were in a wasps nest. Matters were made worse as he was with one particular shorty who enjoyed prodding at that nest, as well as a doctor who seemed to possess his own ideas. Meanwhile, near the docks; a woman with a sword was sat atop the tip of a ship's bow. A long marine coat was draped over her shoulders and fluttered in the wind behind her. She didn't move at all, staring into the distance as if she was waiting for something. What would stick out most to other people though, wasn't what she was doing, rather; wearing. On that coat was an insignia, a symbol which struck fear into the hearts of pirates all over; the marines. |

Dahlia rolled her eyes, not that the motion could be seen, She hadn’t really been planing anything in the first place but being ordered around rubbed her the wrong way. The creature that Don had mentioned must be the little griffon thingy. Ditching the marines was the easy part, like really easy. There were some dumb shouts about Devil fruit powers and where the three of them were, even more angry shouts about the marines being made fun of. Dahlia didn’t really let the shouting get in the way of gruff leading them out and around those losers. Now all that was left was to figure out how to ignore what Don said and cause more trouble for those marines. Passing by a few dock workers they looked like they were getting back to work, albeit reluctantly as Dahlia had stolen most of the pait that they had been off loading. She couldn’t help but laugh a little, prompting the whole group to look around like they just heard a ghost. ’well that’s funny but not useful, or… is it I’ll figure something out later.’ The docks were basically the same as the last time she ran over this way, the difference is that there is a navy ship docked up now. Actually that was probably the best idea to cause confusion and panic for the marines, if she could sail away with that ship or poke a big hole in it that would be great. They wouldn’t need to get involved if they didn’t want This would be a good opportunity to make some sort of name for herself. It really wasn’t hard to slip away from the group, Don couldn’t see her and neither could Geralf. There was someone sitting on the bow of the ship that she was approaching but Dahlia sort of just ignored her, she wasn’t here for a fight. The little dwarf scrambled across the tie lines until she could Jump onto the anchor chain getting splashed a little by the sea water and then climbing up into the hold from there. It looked like this part was supposed to be for someone to standby and raise and lower the anchor however there was a mechanism installed that looked like it would do that automatically. Instead what she found interesting was the desk, littered with blueprints for a motorized and remote activated cannon. The instructions were detailed and interesting she she folded them up and put them in her hat. The other detail that caught her eye was the remote sitting on the desk, looked like it was designed for one handed use by a normal sized person, so it was about the same size as her. "okay but with the signal it needs I could probably, make a smaller version hmm." She pulled the face off and started fiddling with it. Meanwhile in a different room in the ship's hold, a young man with a sleeveless coat finished bolting the final pieces of his creation into place. One of his arms was much larger than the other and the finger on it clicked back into place as he finished using the bolt gun in his arm. ”Finally my remote controlled Cannon is finished! Now I’ll just need to go get my remote to test it. Now, where did I put it?” But almost as soon as he questioned it the cannon whirled to life and started moving sporadically. He jumped at it to hold it down but it spun out of the way at the last second. Then it pointed straight up and fired a big hole through the Deck of the ship. The boy went pale, the captain would kill him if that was his fault he ran to the back room to check on the remote. Dahlia just finished adjusting the remote size to she could use it easier, pressing all of the buttons a few times to check that they weren’t sticky when the black haired young man with one big arm burst in. Turns out that she wasn’t so much invisible after the water splashed her. She just smiled at him, ”Nice blueprints, I hope you don’t mind if I borrow them indefinitely” |

The invisible amos looked towards the marines. Don and his friends should have an easy time escaping if they were invisible, but there was always the possibility that they had some method of finding them. That, or the possibility that Don would just rampage through them. Amos mind immediately went back to the trap filled hallway. Don wasn’t the most subtle of people. Meanwhile, Amos had to cause a distraction and m, possibly, settle the score with that marine who had shot him in the leg. Amos wasn’t particularly vengeful most of the time, but that wound had caused him a lot of trouble. Besides, a sniper could prove to be troublesome when it came to their escape. Especially this one. He was good. Amos knelt on the ground and pulled some arrows off his back. He couldn’t see them but he knew where they were due to muscle memory. He grabbed some rope and tied them together in a loose knot.he fumbled with it more than he would care to admit, though he had the easy excuse that both Amos and the rope were completely invisible. That made things rather difficult. The arrows would separate in midair, raining hell down upon a section of the marines. Next, Amos attached the small one’s bombs to the arrows. He didn’t know how effective they would be but he figured that they would greatly increase the effectiveness of the attacks. Again, it took him longer than he wanted it to for him to actually attach the bombs. After that, Amos turned towards the group of marines that were towards the town. The plan was for them to head to the docks to get a ship. Evidently Don had forgotten that they had a ship that was stowed at those very same docks. He could only hope the fishman realized that when he made it to the docks. However, the reason he planned to attack the marines towards the town was as a diversion. Don hadn’t spoken loudly so it wasn’t likely that the marines had heard their meetup location - vague though it was. Amos hoped that an assault on the marine group that was heading from the town would make them think that they planned on breaking through the gap the attack caused. Amos took aim with his small bundle of arrows. Aiming was more pointing his arrows and using reflexes and instincts to dictate where he would shoot them than it was true aiming. He would clearly need to practice firing with his bow and body invisible before he felt truly comfortable firing arrows in this way. Luckily, this wasn’t meant to be a precision shot. Amos let the bundle of invisible, explosive laden arrows fly. Amos couldn’t see it but he knew that the arrows lost the rope holding them together a split second after they flew into the air. The arrows would gradually separate as they flew towards the line of marines. Of course, it wasn’t only Amos that couldn’t see the arrows. The marines would be unable to do so as well. Amos was unprepared for the large explosion of sound that shook the area. He didn’t even have time to process the visuals of the explosions before he had to cover his ears in a futile effort to stop them from ringing. The little girl was right when she said they packed a larger punch than they looked like they would. However, despite the loud noises and the pain associated with it, Amos didn’t take his eyes off the effect his attack had on the marines. A few of them fell, bloody outlines of arrows in their necks. That was a moment before the explosions occurred. Then, the bombs were triggered. The already decently wide attack suddenly erupted. The entire line of marines was decimated thanks to the combined might of Dahlia’s bombs. They screamed as fire engulfed some of them. Others appeared to be destroyed more by the force of the explosion than by the flames themselves. The sight was gruesome and a bit much, even for the marine hating Amos. They all worked to uphold the system of government that was the World Government. That inherently made every single one of them evil. Yet, Amos was beginning to see that life was rarely, if ever, black and white like he had thought of it for years. He overarching idea of the marines may be evil but did that mean each and every marine was evil? They could have joined for their own reasons, some even may have been noble. Amos sighed. If someone such as himself could almost kill a child, then he had to admit that some marines must surely not be as evil as they seemed. The marine in loguetown immediately cane to Amos mind. He had seemed to be a decent person from the brief interactions they had had before Amos killed him. “Amos Leroux, Don Lino. This is Commander Fox. I do not know how you have made it so that we cannot see you, but I know you are there and who you are. Your attack just now tells me you are not looking for a peaceful way out of this situation. There will be no more warnings. Rest assured, you will not be escaping me a second time.” a voice rang out from overhead. Amos glanced upwards, looking for the source of the voice. It had seemed to come from the trees above them, but that couldn’t be right. How would he have managed to get into the trees already? Amos did recognize the voice, however. It was the Lieutenant who had shot him in the leg before. Evidently he had been promoted since that incident. The important part, though, was that Amos wasn’t crazy in thinking that the sniper was here. A gunshot rang out. It flew terribly close to Amos. In fact, it was so close to hitting him that Amos had to look at his invisible body to be sure that he was still invisible. Amos looked back in the direction the bullet had been fired from. In the trees above him, was Commander Fox.

Don had laid out the instructions based on what Amos had said; it was to follow his pet hippogriff which was quite unnatural unless it was made in a lab, a product of inbreeding experimentation of fusing two different species together which was very unlikely. The only logical explanation to this was Devil Fruit, just as Geralf had read it in the past, it was divided into three categories; Paramecia, Zoan, and Logia with Zoan being the most likely culprit of transforming Don’s pet into a pseudo-mythical beast. A thought that kept Geralf awake despite his own body wanting to shut down and repair itself as soon as possible; with a relocated shoulder and a few broken ribs, he would not be able to fight even if he had to. It wasn’t in his nature to trust someone but the doctor did the most logical thing to do and that was to trust Don, he knew the other fishman was still around despite not being able to see him thanks to the paint Amos used. But there was another underlying problem, Dahlia, She was usually chatty but Geralf had not heard her voice since they left the previous area, he then knew she had other plans and was up to no good. ‘That brat, what is she up to now?’ She seemed the type to bring trouble with her; it was obvious to the doctor as he saw how she mocked the pirate who was almost a hundred times her own size, and from someone who despises danger Geralf could only shake his head in disbelief. The grass rustled beneath his feet as he took each step as silent as possible until they reached the dock area, it was here that he saw a human female, sitting atop the tip of a marine vessel’s bow. ‘Ughhh, not another one..’ Geralf sighed as he moves to the side and feel down to his bottom, he closed his eyes for a moment and rubbed the bridge in between his eyes. “I give up. I leave the rest to you Don..” |
