Profession:Marksman - The profession of Marksman provides sound experience and insight in calculating range, distance and wind elements and their impact on the path of a projectile. It is a general trait that applies to guns, slingshots, cannons, rifles and the like. People without this profession will have little to no luck in firing cannonballs where they are supposed to go under normal battle conditions. Characters with this profession have access to certain additional traits and their range techniques will have the effect costs of the tier below with short range being free.


Carpenter - A Carpenter is someone who makes a living crafting things such as ships, submarines, buildings and other physical structures with expertise and materials not privy to non-carpenters. Carpenters are the only ones capable of creating ships with techniques.

*Note: Carpenters are the only ones capable of ignoring the general rules for ship making and can even purchase materials for ships not found in the chart for ship making. They are also the only ones who can create ships beyond what is typically found, including submarines.

Inventor - An Inventor is a man or woman with knowledge in how various mechanical devices work. They have good insight in how blueprints work, and can upgrade weapons, build gadgets and battle engines if they have enough materials.

Martial Artist - A Martial Artist is someone who specializes in hand-to-hand combat, completely or very close to unarmed. They usually have good insight in the aspects of weight, balance and movement of the body.

Doctor - A Doctor, on a ship or otherwise, gains large medical knowledge. Suturing and cleaning wounds, making bandages out of various materials and preparing drugs, is all part of a Doctor's job. Doctors are the only ones capable of healing serious injuries on the crew.

Clothing/Accessories: Due to her Roxy’s Syndrome Fapple Jack is compelled to remain in her signature equine form most of the time, in which case she rarely wears clothes as they feel just a bit off. When in her human or a more standardized anthropromorphic form she tends to wear rather simple practical country clothing. Typically this will involve denim overalls with or without a long or short sleeve shirt underneath depending on the kind of work she has to do. She almost never removes a worn in brown leather Stetson Hat she takes with her everywhere. It is in fact one of the only articles of clothing she will always wear in her Roxy’s form, sometimes paired with a red checkered bandana tied around her neck. She is often also seen wearing a pair of standard brown leather boots and gloves when not geared up for a fight or heavy duty construction work.
General Appearance: Fapple Jack is a tall, muscular, curvaceous woman. She eats at least 3 square meals a day, gets in plenty of manual labor, and as a result she has a very health body type mixing in a healthy balance of muscle and fat. A bit on the tall side for a girl she none the less has a ladies proportions with a considerable bust, toned waist, and a wide hips. She has tanned skin from working outside and her body is covered in white contrasting freckles, most notably along the shoulders, chest, stomach, back, and on her cheeks. When in any form with fur the only visible freckles that appear are on her cheeks. She’s often dirty, sweaty, or greasy in some way. Being a working girl the manual labor tends to get her more than a little messy. She has no problems with getting down and dirty but others might object to her generally disheveled appearance and the smell of sweat and body odor she usually has to deal with.

The Character
Personality: Fapple Jack is a hard working woman. A carpenter, engineer, and laborer by trade had taught her the value of an honest days work. She's typically very blunt and quick to voice her opinion on any matter. She sees to care very little for social graces often eating, conversing, and going about her business in a way many would consider uncouth without caring to much about what others think. She has a sizable prideful streak, and is especially competitive with others who boast about their abilities. This can get her into trouble at times as she tends to often bite off more than she can chew due to her pride. Her pride also has a tendency of preventing her from easily accepting help from others.

Fapple Jack has a thick country accents and a soothing southern drawl to her dialect. She frequently inserts Countryism’s into her vocabulary and sentences for added effect and is quite prone to vocalizing her excitement with hoots, hollers, and whooping cheers.

Fapple Jack also suffers from a rare condition known as Roxy’s Syndrome. Roxy’s Syndrome is actually a disease of sorts, and as it turns out roughly 80% of the worlds population are carriers of the disease. It is entirely dormant unless a very specific set of circumstances occur, and that is namely if an individual is a carrier and they consume a Zoan type devil fruit that is of cloven hoofed descent. Amongst carriers who consume such a devil fruit there is a 20% chance to trigger the Roxy’s Syndrome. This creates a compulsive need to create and assume a diminutive cloven hoofed hybrid form and identify that as the users primary form. The condition is harmless even if trigger, being little more than a minor inconvenience, and it doesn’t prevent them from assuming other forms, but doing so leaves them with a feeling of restlessness, and if given the opportunity they will always seem to prefer that specific form as their default one.

Fapple Jack travels primarily with her girl friend and fellow sufferer of Roxy’s Syndrome Twily Sparks. The two of them share a very volatile relationship. Their personalities are almost exact opposites, they fight constantly, usually verbally but often physically as well, and they seem to genuinely hate each other. However despite this neither can fathom living without the other. Their passions towards each other often run from hot to cold at the drop of a hat. One minute they’ll be threatening to kill each other, the next they’ll be on top of each other in a way that can only be described as “the most violent mutually consensual kiss ever” Despite their dedication to their ‘relationship’ they are both open minded about romantic interests with others. Though obviously they will become jealous, naturally violently so, if either party shows any interest in another, a fact they both frequently exploit to keep their relationship as volatile as possible. Amongst suffers of Roxy’s Syndrome it is actually a fairly common practice for 2 or more to gather together in ‘herds’ as it is insensitively referred to in a tight knit group dedicated to staying together no matter how caustic the relationship may be.

History: The story of Fapple Jack isn’t exactly a very complex or a sad one. She had a normal life growing up on the farm. It was hard work no doubt, but taught her the value of a good days work and honest simple country living. Growing up working every day and harvesting the sweat of her own brow taught Fapple the value of pursing your goals relentlessly and not letting others undermine your toilsome hard work and dedication. Her Family name came from their great great great great great Grandfather Rutherford Jebediah Apple. He became famous for inventing the Fat Apple, known simply as the Fapple. The Fapple is one of Greensland’s pride and joy. This simple apple is hearty, capable of growing in all but the harshest of environments, and these apples grow to be 3 times the size of a standard apple. Since then the Family’s name was change to Fapple.

As she became a teenager and started getting interested in affairs outside of farming she quickly discovered she had a knack of tinkering with old machines, and with her skilled hand at fair repair and maintenance she quickly built a name for herself as one of the best mechanics in all of Greensland. Eventually as she grew older she started getting a touch of wanderlust. She told her parents she wanted to see the world before she decided if she wanted to settle down in Greensland for good. This was a fairly common desire for folks around these parts, and her parents saw no qualms with it. Setting off she got on the next ship she could board and started to see the world. Eventually her travels found her to the Grand Line, where her real adventure finally began.

At some point early in her journey, Fapple managed to find one of the rare and elusive devil fruits. Overcome with the mystery and the hope she’d find some amazing power like a logia or some unbeatable paramecia, she decided that giving u the ability to swim was a worthwhile sacrifice. She would be lying if she said she wasn’t disappointed with rolling a Zoan, but as it turned out it was a great boon to her given how much manual labor she did. The fruits enhanced physical ability greatly increased her productivity, and her initial disappointment was replaced with gratitude. However for her there would be an additional price to pay, one which she had never seen coming.

One night she had an especially restless dream while sleeping after a tough job she was working. In the dream she was of all things a tiny cartoonish horse running around a cartoonish world, and an annoying cutesy song was playing in the background, gnawing at her frayed nerves. When she woke up in the cold sweat the next morning she found that, somehow during the night, she had transformed with her Zoan into a shape similar to the nightmare she had. After quickly getting in to see a doctor, and more than a little bit of blood drawing, testing, and paperwork, a prognosis for her condition was finally given.

It would seem she was a rare case of what the scientific community had come to refer to as Roxy’s Syndrome. It was a condition named after patient 0, a delusional girl with an unknown devil fruit that manifested its ability via some sort of reality altering wave. Since that incident roughly 80%of people are born as carries of the condition, and the condition while dormant and harmless normally could be triggered into activating under certain conditions being met. The condition as it turns out was consuming a cloven hoofed Zoan type devil fruit. When one did that they had a roughly 20% chance to develop Roxy’s Syndrome, an overwhelming compulsion of the mind to create a hybrid form resembling a cutesy miniature cartoon looking horse and adopt that form as the users primary form.

While initially stressed about being stuck like this forever the doctors assured her that many tests had been run in the past, and that while inconvenient it was not life threatening. The user could freely change their form with enough practice, and even return to their human form. However doing so would always leave a feeling of restlessness. It would always feel like you were just borrowing someone else’s skin. There were other possible long term side effects, but even the most severe case ever recorded involved the subject living a functional life. In fact there was a rather famous bounty hunter running around her seems to be suffering from the condition. With a bit of practice Fapple quickly managed to get the hang of both her newest default form as well as switching to her other forms. She managed to finish up her contract despite the sudden onset of her condition and went on her way.

Eventually she ran into someone else suffering the same deal. Immediately the two got along like oil and water. They were violently adverse to each other, often spending days, weeks, and even months fighting over the tiniest most insignificant things. No matter how much they seemed to hate each other however they couldn’t stand to be apart. It was an odd juxtaposition, the more they fought, the more they desired to be together. Eventually they both decided to go steady as it were and travel together in an unhealthy codependent relationship with one another. They would both later find out that their instinctual desire to remain together was a latent herding mentality their condition instilled on them. They had an instinctual desire to stick together no matter what happened. They’ve been happily fighting each other ever since.

Abilities and Possessions
Combat: Fapple relieves on a very wide array of skills, weapons, and abilities to assist her in combat. For long range or heavy military style endeavors she employs her rapid construction of siege weapons to tear through large groups of enemies, heavy barricades, and larger more dangerous threats. When threats get to close she relies on her Rivet Rifle to pin targets down, quite literally in fact, to hinder their ability to move freely allowing her time to readjust herself on the battlefield. If targets get past that then she can rely on a few well paced quick shots of Old Betsy to keep them at bay. And if all that fails she can rely on some good old fashioned butt kicking skills made even deadlier with the addition of several re purposed construction tools such as hammer piston boots and drill powered gauntlets. If for any reason Fapple needs to make an escape or get some distance she can use her Piston boots to spring away rapidly or her Drill gauntlets to quickly burrow through the earth and slip out of sight. Basically to fight Fapple is to fight an uphill battle the whole way

Born Leader (1 Trait)
- Characters with this trait are gifted with the ability to command respect and admiration from others. Sentient NPCs are easier to sway over to the side of those with this trait. They may gain information, calm down the angry, and sometimes even placate hostile adversaries. Additionally, those normally friendly to strangers find themselves easily enamoured with the character. The user also gains one NPC henchman, who behaves as a crew NPC and is controlled by the player of the main character. They are exceedingly loyal to their ‘master’.

Life Return (2 Traits) - "At the sea for a thousand years, and at the mountains for a thousand years, breathing the wind and drinking pure water, he passed the training of a Sennin. Enduring it all, he gained the Life Return." - Character must be in the Grand Line and perform an "Eye of the Tiger" training storyline to obtain this trait.
The character has the ability to use the mystic ability known as Life Return. They gain control over their bodily functions through their thoughts. Growing and controlling their hair, changing their body fat, body muscles and at higher levels even their blood flow, these characters are truly masters of their own body.

Guru (1 Trait) - This character gains special technique points equal to 1/2 of their fortune, which can only be used on Life Return techniques.

Signature Technique (1 Trait) - This trait makes one particular technique special, a trademark move of the character. This signature technique is always of the natural maximum rank that the character is allowed, but does not cost any Technique Points. In addition, these techniques are allowed to have weaker variations, though these variations must follow the same path set by the main technique, and cannot be used to branch to techniques that do not branch into the main technique.

Professional Traits
Fapple Jack Daniels of all Trades (1 general trait 1 professional Trait) – The character is able to master multiple skills, and has become adept at a number of things. This character gains three additional secondary professions. This replaces Fapple Jack of All Trades if the character already possesses the trait.

Brilliant Mind (1 Trait) – Creative and with an incredible knack for making all sorts of strange gadgets, these inventors gain special Technique Points which can only be used on creation techniques for weapons and gadgets, of the amount of half their fortune.

Advanced Rifle Mastery (2 Traits) - Requires 100 SD earned.
The character has attained supreme mastery in one specific weapon or form of attack that they have Martial Proficiency (can make techniques greater than rank 14) with. All techniques using this weapon or form of attack are always treated as being four ranks higher for purposes of calculating their technique rank benchmark, though their actual rank is not changed.

Advanced Shotgun Class Mastery (1 Traits)
- Requires Rifle Mastery or Advanced Rifle Mastery
The character has expanded their mastery from a single weapon or form of attack to encompass a broader selection. They now receive the benefit of their Rifle Mastery or Advanced Rifle Mastery to a second type of Weapon or form of attack. Additionally, they gain special technique points which may be used to create attacks that use both weapons or forms of attack at once, in the amount of 25% of their fortune.

Description: A form that is the result of Fapple’s Roxy’s Syndrome. A Hybrid transformation which visually leans more towards Equine in nature. This form boats a smaller frame that stands at a rather miniscule, more horizontally oriented, 4 feet tall by 4 feet long and features more human proportions and features combined with the structure of a horse. Fapple’s body is rounder and with far less detail than a horses would normally have featuring more rounded curves on the flank, larger more expressive eyes with irises like a human, a much shorter muzzle, a head that is proportionally larger and rounder than a horses and more closely resembles a humans. Her mane is a long Blond Ponytail that is similar to her human style, her tail is likewise done up in an identical format, while her body is covered in soft orange fur. Her feet end in iron hard hooves, the front two which are prehensile enough to hold things. While this form is predominantly equine in shape its skeletal structure is far more closely congruent to humans. The shape of its bones, muscles, and ligaments give it the flexibility that a human body provides. Fapple is capable of doing things like standing and walking upright on her back hooves, kneeling, crouching, rolling herself over and generally moving in any way a normal human body can move with a degree of movement and flexibility that a horse’s body does not inherently allow. This forms proportions have been specifically tweaked to make her appear more “cute” as part of the Roxy’s Syndromes compulsive mental sculpting. Being quadrapedal in nature this form boasts a sizable boost in strength and speed.
