Chrysoara felt the cold salty water surround his body. He dove beneath the water. His gills began to take over. Fishman anatomy was strange. Chrys had never explicitly studied it; however, he assumed they must have both gills and lungs. How else would he be able to survive in both environments? Regardless, Chrys began to scan the sea for the giant shark. It didn’t take long to find him. Fish scattered at the sight of the giant as he began to swim rapidly towards Chrys. His speed was amplified greatly in the water, as was to be expected. Chrysoara easily spun and let the Shark dash by him. It felt good to move like this. It was freeing. The water was life and Chrysoara had not realized that he missed it so badly. Regardless of his job as a marine or anything else he had going on, he was still a Fishman and he would do well remembering what that meant. Chrysoara swam as quickly as he could after Ripster. The shark was fast in the water; Chrysoara was faster. He caught up to the shark in a matter of seconds and slammed his fist into the sharks back before he could turn around. Chrysoara saw water get displaced by the shark as the fist smashed into him. He didn’t exactly release bubbles – they weren’t breathing air to create bubbles with, after-all – but it was similar to that situation. The shark tried to spin towards Chrysoara but he was too slow. Unhampered by the water, Chrysoara slammed his fist quickly into the giant shark’s jaw. He watched the giant body fling backwards. He watched and waited. He was a pirate, but Chrysoara did not want to kill him. He was a fellow Fishman. He deserved to live, even if the rest of his life would be served in Impel Down. The great Gaol had a place especially for him. Chrysoara prepared to dodge and counter the giant fishman. His muscles tensed as he waited. He had the speed advantage against this foe and he had to keep asking himself what he hated the most about a quick opponent. It wasn’t when they were constantly on the offensive. That was annoying but a bigger and stronger opponent would find a way to capitalize on it. No, the most annoying thing a faster opponent could do was play the waiting game. What Chrysoara was not prepared for, however, was Ripster flinging his arm forward in the water. Chrysoara could barely see the large shockwave travelling through the water. It was like…Fishman Karate. This man knew Fishman Karate? Chrysoara took the blow head on and was flung backwards from the force of it. Ripster swam forward, trailing a small stream of blood in the water from his various wounds. He swung his massive fist at the stunned Chrysoara. Chrysoara didn’t have the time to completely dodge the attack but he managed to swing his arms forward so they could take the brunt of the attack. He barely managed to not gasp from the pain of the blow. Fishman were much better fighters in the water than they were out of the water. Chrysoara had underestimated the shark by thinking he would win easily once they entered the water. He wouldn’t do it again. Chrysoara flipped over and kicked, swimming forward rapidly. He quickly ducked beneath a large blow from Ripster and followed up with his own to Ripster’s face. Then another one. Then another. After the third blow, Chrysoara jumped backwards. He wanted to get out of the way before Ripster had time to recover and get used to the blows. That would mean a situation where the shark would come out ahead. They repeated this exchange. Twice. Three times. On the fourth time, Chrysoara could feel Ripster’s body go limp on the third hit to his face. The shark had known what was coming each time but was simply too slow to properly react. Chrysoara gritted his teeth through the pain and did a backflip in the water, kicking Ripster in the chest as he did so. The giant shark flew upwards, splashed out of the water and flew through the air from the force of the heavy kick delivered by Chrysoara. Chrysoara swam upwards. He broke the surface of the water just in time to see the gargantuan shark smash into the dock (damaging it further, though Chrysoara really didn’t like to think about that. They were trying to fix the thing, after-all). Chrysoara swam slowly towards the dock and made his way out of the water. His breath came in ragged gasps. His legs shook and his arm appeared to be bleeding. Whether that was due to the old wounds or new ones, Chrysoara couldn’t say. He had overdone it during this fight. He limped forward. He didn’t think his leg was damaged. In fact, his legs felt better than nearly every other part of his body. The problem was he was just so damn tired that he couldn’t properly pick his legs up. He noticed a small crowd forming around Ripster. He could feel his breath catch in his throat at the sight of the crowd. They could prove as liabilities if Ripster stood back up. Not that Chrysoara could do much about the humongous fishman if he decided to keep on fighting. Chrysoara was completely done. He made it to the crowd and watched as they parted way for him. He continued on his slow way until he made it to Ripster. The shark was breathing, that much was evident by the rise and fall of his chest. Chrsyoara looked closely at his face. The eyes were closed and the face was beaten to a pulp. Blood oozed from cuts on his face. Some spots were more stabs than cuts as Chrysoara had used both hands during the punches and he still wore the gauntlet with the knifed fingertips. Chrysoara fell to one knee as he looked at the fishman. “Someone get me some handcuffs and a den-den mushi” The fishman said. He would have done it himself but he was simply too tired. |

Jynx continued working the tense muscles of the mermaid into a state of absolute relaxation, it took much longer than she had anticipated, as the mermaid seemed to be surprisingly accustomed to physical labor, but also obviously put a lot of care into her appearance. Perhaps it was traditional for mermaids to be beautiful in some way? As she rarely heard tell of mermaids, and even fewer of ones that could be considered ugly. "Your tails are marvelous! Your scales are so shiny and I didn't even know they could split like this!" Jynx complemented her, complements were an easy way to make her clients relax, as casual conversation as though they are friends helps them feel more comfortable, especially since she has her hands all over another, which might seem strange without context. Lorelai, however, started, internally. This was her trick. She would complement people to make them drop their guard. Was this bounty hunter doing the same? Had she been toying with her this entire time!? "There's no way! I've been the one deceiving her!" She thought, as she physically started to sweat, Jynx noticed this, "What's wrong? It's almost as if you're nervous..." Jynx muttered, making Lorelai sweat even harder, until She finished her sentence, “Well you shouldn’t be worried! That pirate should be out for a while, unless he’s stronger than I thought… Ah, I’ll just knock him out, again, it’ll be fine!” She tried reassuring her patient, nodding encouragingly. Lorelai started panicking, she needed to kill this idiot quickly, if she was toying with her, she couldn’t let that stand. “Um… Could you… perhaps rub my belly? My… stomach muscles are sore.” She lied, turning over. Now all she needed to do was wait until Jynx dropped her attention away from either of her arms, and she could land a killing blow. Jynx again wondered just what kind of differences existed between mermaids and humans, physically speaking. This was an excellent learning experience, the kind that couldn’t be trained. Jynx eagerly danced her knuckles across the mermaids smooth skin. She was so eager to learn more about their physical body, that she didn’t notice the mermaid lifting her arm, and flicking her wrist, with surprising expertise as a thin blade jutted out. It’s length and width were clearly designed for piercing, and, most likely, killing instantly. Meanwhile, Jynx was oblivious, as she discovered their nerve endings and sweet spots were similar to that of humans, until she discovered one unknown nerve, right at the beginning of her hip, where her body made the transition to fish. She tapped this nerve, once, out of sheer curiosity, and its effects were instantaneous. Lorelai seized up, letting out nothing more than a startled gasp, before she rocked back and forth, completely stiff, as though she was changed into a statue. Jynx jumped back, “Ooh… Oh no… Oh I’ve bobbled it this time.” she muttered, tapping her chin, and standing up. She bowed deeply, "I am deeply sorry for being the cause of this. I will escort you to safety too the best of my ability.” She promised, hefting the mermaid over her shoulder. “Hm?” Jynx noticed the blade sticking out of her arm, “Well, it looks like I didn’t really need to defend her at all! She could have defended herself from him alone! Well now I just feel silly!” She remarked, walking back to the docks. Lucius and Chrys were awaiting her return, it seemed, so she explained that she found this mermaid captive by the pirates. “Oh, dear, and they paralyzed her, too?” Lucius asked, noticing her frozen body. By now she had fallen unconscious. “Ah… No… I did that. I was too unfamiliar with her physiology and… I made a mistake.” She admitted, hanging her head to shame, “Regardless, we should find a safe place for her to recover.” Lucius said, turning towards the others for some helpful information. |

The blades connected together, making a shard sound of metal clashing. The marine girl felt her grip heavy and incapable of moving her katana. "Oi, oi, did you just tried to use the same attack again?" Céu struggled to pull her weapon, even mustering a good amount of strength the katana didn't budge. The crab fishman had four of his swords crossed, forming a diamond shape between them. And in that closed shape the swordswoman long katana was firmly stuck, preventing the girl from using her weapon. "You take me for an i-" The pirate was about to continue talking but stopped after noticing the second attack coming. Céu was trusting with her saya straight at his midsection, however the fishman caught it easily with two other swords. "I don't know what you are playing at, but now you will pay for it!" Jubuki couldn't understand what was the aim of the girl, but he really didn't needed too. This time she was a little bit faster than before, however it wasn't even hard to catch her attack. Using the remaining two swords and having the girl completely unable to use her weapons, Jubuki swords metal glimmered slightly as he sent two diagonal slash from diferent sides at her. Céu quickly reacted by releasing her katana and saya with the fishman. She swiftly reached behind her back and pulled the wakizashi, deflecting one blow before it came an barely jumping away from the other swing. "I thought you were better than this, Rokubai Sōkon!" The swordswoman had successfully evaded the last attack, yet Jubuki with his other arms free. Held the six of them above his head together and sent a wide vertical shockwave at close range. Céu didn't had time to jump out of the way, as she would get struck by the size of the shockwave. Her only defense was her small blade, which stopped the schokwave from cutting her. But didn't stopped the momentum of the cut, her boots slid across the floor as she was sent with a violent force across the pavilion. |

Chrysoara sat down on the wooden dock as he waited for the handcuffs. He wasn’t sure who, if anyone, had ran to go get them. He had thought he had heard someone say something about doing it, so he waited. Chrysoara felt his eyes growing heavy. He tried to force them open but it was difficult. His entire body felt as if it were made of lead, even his eyelids. He didn’t know how long he sat in this nearly stupor like state of existence, but he was awoken from it by the arrival of an extra-learge pair of handcuffs. Chrysoara snapped awake and grabbed the handcuffs from the scrawny boy. He squinted his eyes as he looked at the boy, trying to place him as one of the slaves. He couldn’t, however. He must have been one of the townsfolk. Chrys pushed himself upwards and glanced at the sun. It seemed to be in roughly the same position it had been when he had sat down; he couldn’t have been out for more than a few minutes. That was good. That means he would be able to help out Ceu and Jynx after he handcuffed Ripster. Chrys slowly walked over to Ripster and slapped the pair of extra large handcuffs on the fishman. His eyes were still closed but his chest rose and fell slowly. He was alive. He would probably wish he wasn’t once Chrysoara made sure he was sent to Impel Down. Chrysoara started as he realized he had forgotten to ask about the Den Den Mushi he had requested. He turned towards the boy, who had followed him over to Ripster. “Were you unable to find a Den Den Mushi?” Chrysoara asked in the most gentle tone he could manage. The problem was that he was dead tired and a relatively large Fishman, himself. That meant that he probably still managed to completely terrify the child. The kid hurriedly shook his head yes and ran away. Chrysoara sighed as he looked around. They didn’t have one on their ship, but they would need to get a hold of one if they wanted to get a prison transport into the area. Chrys wasn’t sure but he thought he heard that marines came by here every now and then, even though they didn’t have a base on the island. It shouldn’t be too hard to get a prison transport, if only he had a Den Den Mushi! That was when Chrysoara’s eyes fell upon the ship that the pirates had landed on. It had a large Kraken on the flag and it looked fairly empty. Chrys hesitated before going towards the ship. If he did that, then he wouldn’t be able to help his friend(s) with their battle. Chrysoara turned towards the main part of town and took a step, only to stumble forward and barely manage to catch himself. He had decided that he was better served helping in the fights. That stumble told him otherwise. So, Chrys changed directions once again and began to walk towards their ship. |

Lucius sat up, turning towards Chrysoara as he stumbled about, before Lucius glanced at the beast Chrys had managed to topple on his own, "Sir Chrysoara! Are you alright?" Jynx asked, now recognizing him as a marine soldier, she was using a respectful surname to address him. She watched him, "Hey, hey... take it easy there, big guy!" she said, hypocritically, due to her own height. "Nice work, taking that monster out. Even though I hit a pressure point, my knuckle's are sore from that parry I did. He was absolutely tough." She remarked, before remembering why she came back here in the first place, "Oh, hey, I found a mermaid captive. I tried massaging her but..." She trailed off, placing the mermaid on the ground, yelling, "I messed up!! Look, I paralyzed her!!" She yelled, in despair. She stared, hopelessly at the being that may as well have been a statue. She then realized two things: 1, Chrys was exhausted, and 2: he had no clue as to how nerve endings worked. What exactly was her plan here? She picked up the mermaid, "Actually, nevermind, don't worry about this," she said, bowing to Chrys, "You just get some rest." She reassured him, backing away, with Lucius. The two walked away, Lucius staring at his mistresses accidental captive, "Ma'am, why don't you try touching that "mystery nerve" once more? I suppose it wouldn't hurt, no?" Her butler suggested, not changing where his eyes were directed. Jynx thought, for a moment, before sighing, "Hang on a second..." She pondered, aloud, as she started examining the mermaid's hips, trying to relocate that nerve she had touched before. She tapped it, lightly, before trying once more, with a bit more force, and the mermaid jolted, sitting up in Jynx's grip, "Hey, it worked! Are you feeling all right? Please accept my sincerest apologies for that." Jynx asked the mermaid, while hanging her head in shame. Lorelai simply glanced around, "How-How did we get here...?" She asked, genuinely confused. Had they teleported or something...? She was about to kill this brat, and then... They were here? What even happened? |

Céu's body struck against the wall and continued to be pushed, pinning her body into place for a few moments. The technique ended up splitting by the blade of the swordswoman wakizashi, the vertical shockwave became two, and their momentum still carried on. One of the shockwaves missed the head of the marine barely, however Céu wasn't so fortunate with the other one, receiving right on her lower body. The attack struck one of her legs and a part of her belly, tearing her clothes apart and bruising her skin. The swordswoman fell with nothing to cushion her body, she struck hard agaisnt the ground. Céu's leg was throbbing in pain, her stomach felt like she had just received a well delivered sucker punch. Jubuki scoffed at the foolish marine attempts, and began to walk away from where he stood. His crew was waiting for him, and he had already spend a good amount of time dilly dallying with a marine that doesn't know when to stop telegraphing her moves. The pirate Captain noticed how the blonde winged girl was still here, the idiot just stood there peeking behind the door, instead of running away like the marine asked. "Oi! Girl! Time to come out and hand out that map!" She didn't move from the door and didn't seem to comply, he fully understand why when he heard the steps of someone quickly approaching. Jubuki turned only to see the marine dashing straight forward at him, and doing the exact same movements as before. "It will never work!"The crab fishman changed his stance to receive and counter the attack of the girl, as the swordswoman stepped in, the pirate moved his swords to intercept them, yet the girl incoming attack was just the gesture of her hand pulling coming out with no sword. The girl wasn't completely stopping as she passed bellow him, between his legs. Céu slid her body on the floor, and with a quick spin turned around and sent three fast slashes targeting his legs, arms and back, forcing the crab to kneel and drop his weapons. |

“I’m…managing.” Chrysoara said through gasps of pain. “He was tough. Luckily, he was a bit slower than I am.” Chrysoara watched her with the mermaid. He had never seen a mermaid get like that – not that he had seen many mermaids. Still, it was quite strange what she could do with her massages. “I don’t need rest, yet. I’m going to check out their ship. You’re welcome to join me. Otherwise, there are plenty of people here who could use a massage.” Chrysoara began to walk away, though he could still hear what they were saying to the mermaid. She was apologizing? I guess the mermaid was taken away to be sold as a slave? Weird that a fishman crew would try to sell…a mermaid. Hmm. Chrysoara paused, thinking on the matter. It was true most fishman liked mermaids. They were relatives and could breed together. Hell, they were barely even separate species but…that didn’t mean that she was part of their crew did it? Humans sold other humans in the slave trade. Baga had shown them that. Chrysoara shrugged his shoulders. He must be paranoid. So, Chrysoara slowly made his way over to the ship. It was a large ship, bigger than theirs by a good bit. The walkway was done so Chrysoara made his way up. He was tired and that was evident in each step he took. His feet hit heavily and they moved slowly, almost as if they were dead weight rather than being moved by muscles within them. The top deck of the ship was nothing to write home about. It was the standard wood ship, so Chrysoara made his way to a door that would probably lead to a cabin of some kind. The door swung open and Chrysoara walked in without meeting any resistance. It seemed the entire crew had left the ship and gone with their captain. That was good for Chrysoara as he had no energy left to fight even a weak member of his crew. He had to admit that he was beginning to feel more like a warrior. It wouldn’t be long and Chrysoara may be able to stand tall as a master of Fishman Karate. Of course, he was all alone with no one to teach him so his skills could truly only progress so far before he needed to seek further tutelage. Inside the Cabin, Chrysoara saw a beautiful sight. There was a giant aquarium. Inside were fish and other kinds of marine life. Chrysoara was too tired to dive in, so he let himself just stare at the sparkling water. He glanced around. He had come on board the ship to look for any information about why they could have come here. The fishman he had fought mentioned something about a map. Why were they after a certain map so badly and how did they know it was here? Chrysoara walked over to his left and began to rummage through a drawer. It was full of papers of all kind. Eventually, he found a rolled up scroll that seemed to contain the information that Chrysoara needed. He read it over. It was a set of orders from an anonymous “Captain” telling the crew to obtain the map to the treasure. It didn’t say what the treasure was supposed to be. Chrysoara sighed. That information could have been helpful in tracking down the rest of their crew. Any underlings like these that were fine with attacking a random town – though Chrysoara hadn’t actually seen them attacking the town – probably worked for an even worse boss. Chrysoara shoved the piece of paper into his pockets and continued looking. Inside the drawer, he found one other piece of paper that he found noteworthy. It was a map with the word “Nemea” written on the top in bold letters. It was clearly supposed to be a map of the hourglass-shaped island. All along the map were red Xs. Chrysoara had no idea what the Xs were supposed to mean but pocketed the map regardless. It seemed this crew had some plans for Nemea. Chrysoara was half tempted to attempt to get the Fishman down below to talk; however, Ripster was knocked unconscious and he needed to get them on prison transport. Besides, Chrysoara was no torturer. There were people trained in extracting information of that kind. He should leave the job to the trained professionals. So, Chrysoara began to walk back towards the door. AS he did so, his hair tentacles snagged on the corner of the drawer. Chrysoara, in his exhausted state, fell face first onto the ground. His nose smashed into the floor and he let out a long groan. He wasn’t in the mood for this and really didn’t have the energy to be fighting with an end table. Chrysoara struggled to his feet and looked at the drawer. It was strewn on the floor along with a mass of papers. He really saw no need to pick it up. It wasn’t like they were planning on letting the pirates off this island, anyway. They could know that Chrysoara snooped in their stuff. They weren’t going to be able to communicate with anyone outside of the marines here shortly. Except, there was one more item of note that Chrysoara hadn’t noticed in the drawer previously. A watch with a small Den Den Mushi on it. Chrysoara snatched up the Den Den Mushi and quickly began to see if he could make contact with other marine forces. He knew some codes, he just wasn’t sure if the Den Den could reach. After a few moments, Chrysoara heard noise on the other side. “Yes, sir. This is Ensign Chrysoara Fusce reporting in. I have captured a 15 million beri pirate on Rust Pit island and the rest of his crew is in the process of being captured as we speak. Ripster claims his captain has a 30 Million beri bounty. I am requesting a prison transport for these pirates. Over.” A few more moments of silence. “Verify your identity, Sailor” The voice on the other side said. It was unfamiliar. Chrysoara had expected to be calling Liuetenant Strong. Where was he at? “My ID number is 87532486286, over” Chrysoara recited from memory. It was something he made sure he had memorized as he didn’t want to be someone who let the information get out by writing it down somewhere. “Roger that. We have a prison transport nearby. It won’t be long before it arrives on Rust Pit Island. Out.” “Sir. What happened to Lieutenant Strong, over” Chrysoara pushed, wondering where his commanding officer was. It was strange that someone would take his place and Chrysoara wouldn’t know about it. Of course, Chrysoara had been off the grid since the Salt Island mission. “Lieutenant Strong is on a top secret mission. Good work on Salt Island, by the way, Sailor. I’m your new commanding officer, Lieutenant Mirae, Out” Chrysoara didn’t reply this time. He heard the word out and didn’t want to push the Lieutenant any further than he already had. Chrysoara strapped the Den Den Mushi onto his wrist and began to make his way off the ship. He would have to find a way to make the watch untraceable and to alter its signal so that the pirates couldn’t contact it but this Den Den Mushi was the best system he had for the moment and he was going to use it. |

Jynx set down the mermaid, gently, before bowing down, immediately, "I failed the massage! You lost consciousness because of my carelessness! I'm so sorry!" She cried, as her butler stood, a mellow smile on his face, as he watched Jynx slam her head against the ground, repeatedly, making Lorelai frown. Great. There were more. And this guy seemed a lot wiser than this lady. This day was getting worse and worse. "No, no, it's fine! We all make mistakes! Besides, I didn't even feel like anything's wrong!" She pretended to comfort the massive lady, as she looked up, "Y-you mean it???" "Yes. You're massage was great." She confirmed, plastering a "sincere" serious expression, staring into her eyes. Geez, this oaf was basically a child, it almost made Lorelai guilty. Almost. "Okay... If you're sure..." Jynx sighed, standing back upright, "Let's just... Find you a place to stay. I won't bother you after that." She promised, standing, before Lorelai leaned into her, feigning the need for comfort, "Oh, you've just been so kind to me! At least let me make you some food!" She pleaded, choking up some crocodile tears, "No, no, We couldn't! Don't worry about it! Lucius can make me food, thanks!" Jynx laughed, reassuringly. This only served to frustrate Lorelai further. "At least let me treat you... I insist." She kept pushing, a vein popping out just above her brow. Jynx noticed it, and almost touched it, before Lorelai smacked it aside, "It's. Nothing." She expressed, as clearly as she could. Lucius, however, leaned forward, "How would you treat us? You were a... pardon the wording here... a slave, right?" He said, making Lorelai pale, before she scrambled her mind, forming an answer in record time, "Itookitoffthatpirateafteryouknockedhimout!" She exhaled the entire sentence at once, sweating profusely. How. How were these novices flustering her like this!? "Makes sense to me." Jynx shrugged, "But we're good. I'm very sorry, but we don't have the time for something like this, right now. My colleague is exhausted after beating that monster of a fishman, and I need to treat him as soon as possible." Jynx stated, shaking her head, with body language that radiated the feeling of "how unfortunate". "Here we are, with that money you nicked, and your story, I'm sure these townspeople could give you a room for a little while, then you can return home. Come, Lucius, we have to return to the docks." Jynx concluded, turning, and Lucius turning to walk, side by side with her. "Of course, Ma'am.". Dammit, they were getting away! Lorelai couldn't allow this! Screw all the play pretend! Their backs were turned! She was ending these two, then returning to her ship and getting the hell away from here! Of course, she wasn't expecting the old man to sprout another pair of arms and wings, as he instantly circled to her back and slammed down on her back, gripping her bladed arms and nicking the blade concealed within her tail fin, underneath cloth that mimicked her scales. "Huh?" Was all Lorelai could say, before Lucius stared up at Jynx, who turned, with a raised eyebrow, but not exactly looking surprised, "Well, then, I guess that explains those blades. Lucius told me something was off, and it looks like you were right. Geez, you really played me for the fool, huh? Well, anyways..." She sighed, crouching down to the restrained mermaid's level, and with a swift knock, the mermaid seized up, once more. She sighed, outwardly, "I'm such an idiot. Thanks, Lucius," She shook her head. She had been tricked, no way around it. "Of course ma'am.". The two returned to the docks, Jynx wearing an especially bitter expression. She asked some nearby working marines to find a jailer's quarters for this assassin, handing over the statuesque mermaid to them. They stared at her, for a moment, before tying her up, and Jynx tapped the freezing nerve from before, to return her consciousness as she was dragged away. She rotated her shoulders, as she told the working men to come to the cabin for massages, and she went there, to wait for some patients to treat, while Lucius prepared some snacks with the remaining provisions from their bags. Jubuki fell to his knees, the pain rushed through most of his limbs, forcing him to buckle under the inflicted damage. "You fucking b- The fishman angryly spoke between his gritted teeth. His large body dropped on the floor without being able to finish his insult, letting out a painful grunt instead. Céu sheathed her katana back in the days, and also did the same on her wakizashi. They had maintenance not to long ago, and they are going to need another proper cleaning after this fight. The swordswoman mind wandered for a few seconds, before getting interrupted by the pirate. "You are going to regret this!" His words had a rather ominous tone on them, however it came from someone who had just been beated, currently eating the dirt without being able to get up on his own feet. The fishman struggled, but every time he used all of his arms to push his large body up, he would fail to muster enough strength. "I am not regretting anything... perhaps I wasn't ready yet." Céu fell into a deep thought, as Jubuki expression twisted into a sneer after noticing the legs of the marine. "You are shaking, little girl! And you don't even realize what kind of people are you dealing with!" Her eyes wandered towards her legs, as they were twitching in place. She wouldn't even noticed if he didn't point it out, the strain from the fight didn't just left her in a heavy breath, but her legs muscles were suffering from the burden of her failed attempts at a technique and the last shockwave of the pirate. Her arms were also feeling stiff from barely blocking Jubuki attacks, but what was bothering her, was that the clothes were utter ruined and she couldn't afford to spend more money in new ones. The beli was going straight to provisions and stocking the ship. " I know fully well who I am dealing with, it's hard to not see that you are pirates. And as a marine it's only normal you would be dealt with. Now, if you excuse me... and please stay put, I have more pressing issues to resolve." She left the crab fishman behind as he spoke quite angrily at her " I can't fucking move! And that wasn't what I meant!" However it was the same as talking with a wall. He made Céu recall why she was there in the first place, and her mind was quickly filled with the thoughts about getting the supplies. The swordswoman moved towards the closed door, only to caught the blonde winged woman peeking behind a small gap. "It's ok now. I can reassure you. Can we resume what we were talking about? Also could you please don't charge much for the collateral damage..." Céu was already fidgeting from the sheer thought of explaining to everyone why she couldn't buy everything they wanted. The girl was still dumfounded that a girl smaller than her and wielding a katana to big to carry, had just beat a pirate, left him on the ground and was casually talking to her about food. She closed the door shut and after a few moments inside, the winged girl stepped out with a rope on her hands. " Tie him up first, please." Céu received the rope, and gave a small nod. The swordswoman turned to go restrain the fishman, yet she found it strange as a small mob was quickly gathering and rushing to the side of the pirate. |

Chrysoara made his way off the ship. He moved lethargically as his exhausted state began to catch up with him. When he made it off the ship, he noticed another person tied up next to Ripster. It was a mermaid. In fact, it looked like it was the mermaid that had taken off with Ripster when they had come off the ship. Ripster still appeared to be unconscious. Chrysoara made his way over to the mermaid, ignoring the looks of the working men. They seemed to be worried about him, but he couldn’t rest yet. He was a marine and this unexpected job came before anything else. Chrysoara did notice a line of the men leading into the cabin on the ship. He couldn’t help but think that was a strange occurrence. Why would they possibly line up like that? “What’s your name?” Chrysoara asked as he kneeled next to the mermaid. “Why should I tell you?” The woman pouted, as if she had just accepted that she was captured and was going to be sent to prison. Of course, she was likely a small time criminal and destined for Level 1 of Impel Down. Chrysoara actually wanted to visit and see what it would be like to have a stint as a jailor. Chrysoara didn’t know much about the Warden or the Head Jailor, but he assumed they had to have substantial amounts of power if they were to guard the prison as they did. Besides, Chrysoara wanted to travel. Impel Down was an area very few would ever get to see. Well, an area few could see and come back out of it. However, as Chrysoara thought about her question, he realized he had no satisfactory answer. She was a pirate who was already captured, and he was a marine. What could he possibly offer her. He would not offer her freedom, even if he was high enough rank to do so. He was not high enough rank, anyway. So, Chrysoara decided that his best bet was to take a page out of the playbook they used on Salt Island. He needed to lie. Of course, playing a role was difficult when one had very little knowledge of what they were dealing with. Chrysoara leaned in closer before responding to her. He wanted to make it out as if he were trying to keep a secret. “Open your eyes, girl! How many Fishman are in the marines? Do you really think that I am a marine? I’m undercover. A spy. A mole. “ The woman narrowed her eyes. Chrysoara wished he could figure out what was going on in her head. Did he believe her? He hadn’t seen very many mermaids, but they seemed to have human faces. Did that mean their facial expressions would mean similar things to those on a human? “You’re a Kraken?” The woman asked quietly after a minute. Chrysoara’s mind was racing. Kraken? He was clearly a Jellyfish Fishman. What did she mean by Kraken? Was that some kind of term used to describe spies in the mermaid and fishman world? That didn’t make much sense. The Kraken was a legendary beast said to be able to defeat Sea Kings and create whirlpools strong enough to sink ships. She wouldn’t use that as some sort of derogatory term. While Chrysoara was unsure what exactly she meant by it, but he felt the best answer was to say ‘yes’. Perhaps doing so would keep her talking a little longer and he could glean a little bit more information from her. Of course, if Chrysoara had decided to take a minute to think about it he would have realized that the pirate ship flew a flag with a Kraken on it. Sadly, Chrysoara didn’t have too long before he needed to answer lest it become suspicious. “Yes. The Boss sent me into the marines. He figures that the marines will get in the way of the operation on Nemea.” Chrysoara said, tossing as much information in the sentence as he could. He needed to make her believe that he was truly one of them. Her eyes widened when Chrysoara mentioned the operation on Nemea. Apparently, she hadn’t seen Chrysoara come out of their ship. If she had, then she could have easily figured out where the information was coming from. Chrysoara barely withheld a smile. It seemed his plan was working. That was good. This plan was evidently bigger than just ransacking this one town. As a marine, he couldn’t just let them get away with doing whatever they wanted. He needed to do everything he could to stop it. That started with learning what they were doing. What were those red marks on the map for? Why did they come to Rust Pit island? Chrysoara thought he remembered Ripster mention a map when they had first arrived. “Captain Jubuki didn’t mention anything about a marine informant being on this island…” She said, as if she were trying to find whatever reason she could to doubt Chrysoara’s lies. Luckily, Chrysoara was expecting this answer. Another piece of information came to his mind from what Ripster had said when they had first arrived. They served another pirate. He had mentioned a ‘big boss’ – though, Chrysoara had no idea who it was. “You know Jubuki isn’t the head honcho. He serves someone else and there’s some things that even Jubuki doesn’t get told.” Chrysoara spat, trying to put as much venom into his voice as he could. He needed her to believe that he was mad at her for doubting him. The mention of the big boss would help so long as she didn’t remember Ripster mentioning it in the beginning. “O-oh. Right. I’m Lorelai.” The mermaid said, her voice rising in tone as she did so. Chrysoara tried to figure out what the change in tone meant. As a merchant, he would notice people’s tones change when something made them excited or upset them. A higher tone could be either, but this one spoke of being excited as far as Chrysoara could tell. |

Once he finished setting up a simple snack table, Lucius quickly decided that things were alright here, so he figured he'd better check on the young lady from before, and with that thought, he vanished from the ship. Jynx sighed, as she methodically lighted a bunch of scented candles and setting them up throughout the room, finding the prime spots for the scent to spread out, quickly. These scents were designed to soothe the mind, of any who smell, but that was largely a superstition, but Masseuses never really share that fact, as, for the most part, if a customer believes the candles are calming them, they calm themselves, through that reassuring belief alone. She then set up her platform, locating some towels and laying them over the table. After all this was done, she simply plopped down into a chair and crossed her arms, waiting for one of the workers to take her up on her offer. She sat there, for a few minutes, before the door to her current massage room creaked open, as a bulky man leaned in, glancing around. Jynx could hear some scuffling and whispering behind the man, who cleared his throat, "Uh... You said... you did massages...?" He asked, before turning and shushing those out of view, before resuming his eye contact with her. "That's right. You want a massage?" She confirmed, politely, nodding her head, while maintaining her eye contact. "For free, or what...?" "I am doing it for the sake of the navy, think of it as my services being paid for by the wold government, in a way." She summarized, "Now, would you like a massage?" She repeated, not moving from her position. The man was seemingly shoved into the room, and he immediately spun, "You bastards! Don't leave me here!" He yelled, banging on the door, and trying to reopen it, but it seemed to be sealed on the other side. The man was instantly aware of the massive lady standing behind him, and he paled, as a muscular hand gripped his shoulder, squeezing softly. He turned, at the sinister being standing behind him, who stood there, for a moment, squeezing his shoulder, as if testing something, before she gently pushed him aside, with the expected amount of strength from her size, and in his condition, he couldn't fight back that well. "It doesn't look like you want a massage. If that's so, then..." She gripped the door's handle and tried to push it open, meeting the same resistance, before she centered her gravity, and struck the door right beside the handle, sending the door flying open, and tossing the other muscular men back, who were hiding behind the door. She walked back inside, "I can only relax people who want to be relaxed, if you stress about it, it'll just make things more difficult for me, I'm afraid. I figured your muscles must be on the brink of tearing, but... I guess you don't want any treatment, you all can just keep working, if that's the case, or you can rest, and hope your muscles heal on their own, slowly." She shrugged, returning to her chair. "Just so we're clear: this is the last time i'm asking. Does anyone want a massage?" She concluded her little speech, with surprising authority. The first man to enter the room patted at the shoulder she had gripped, it was feeling... slightly looser, it might have just been his imagination. "To hell with it, I'll take one." He decided, crossing his arms. He had spotted her talking with the two who had helped free the group, how bad could she be? This verdict had some of the other men nod to each other, and hesitantly start volunteering, as well. Jynx nodded, and paced to the door, "Please form a line, I can only treat one at a time. And the top three, please remove your tops, I need direct contact with your nerves to increase my efficiency." She requested, shooing the rest out of the men out of the room, before she closed the door. "Now, then, please lie down, and relax, focus on the candle's scent to help reduce your stress. Forget about your work, and all of your sore muscles. Lie on your stomach..." She continued giving him requests, as he lied down, leading him to close his eyes, as she cracked her knuckles, and started striking points on his body, stimulating his muscles with pin-point accuracy. |

The swordswoman squinted hard while watching the amount of people circling the pirate, and they were still coming in, appearing from all sides in a rush to met the crab fishman. Céu unconsciously used her hands to rub her eyes, only to feel a sharp sting on them. Her vision was still cloudy from the annoying salt, she had already forgot about it after she disabled the pirate. The only reason she manage to hold on her own was because the fishman kept speaking, and making his location know, then she could strike were he stood. However, that wasn't so simple, her inability to perceive things properly, would fail badly in long fights. Hence the reason, Céu was so stubborn. The fight was a perfect opportunity to get an hold of a technique she knew off, but never was able to pull it off. She only needed to know were to strike, yet she couldn't put enough speed on her movement, even after a several tries. Céu failed to use the technique, however it was the failure that allowed her to beat the pirate. Her mentor taught Céu about the advantages of using her stubbornness in a fight, repeating the same move over and over, would make the enemy able to block it or to utterly defeat the technique. The swordswoman always did the same movements, which made the pirate already know the outcome of the attack, it was only when she switched it up, that provoked his downfall. Lost in her own thoughts, the marine girl made her way near the small crowd. Jubuki face had a different shade of Red with a bit of steam coming out of his head. Céu casually approached, and gave a light bow towards the men lifting the fishman. "Thank you for your aid, could you please hold him just like that?" Everyone around was taken by surprise, they didn't noticed the girl until she spoke. They were a bit startled, finding the politeness of the girl compelling enough to, without a single thought do as she requested. Céu even asked for them to hold the pirate in a different way, it was the first time she had to tie up so many arms. Jubuki had his mouth wide with an incredulous look on his face, the Captain only snapped out of it when he saw all of his arms all tied up behind his back. "You fucking idiots, that's the bitch I was talking about! Fucking kill her!" The swordswoman was already giving a bow in appreciation for their help as she realized this men were part of the crew, her vision was still rather blurry so it was hard to discern exact features, if she didn't focused hard enough. "Oh, I was thinking you were just good Samaritans, but I appreciate your aid anyway!" Céu gave another bow, letting her hand rest on the handle of her blade as the pirates roared and drew their weapons. |

“Well, Lorelai. How much do you know about the operation? Do I have to worry that you will blab to the marines?” Chrys said, scrunching his face into what he hoped was an intimidating look. He probably failed. After-all, Chrys wasn’t the most intimidating person if you were used to Fishman faces. Besides, Chrysoara was used to trying to make people like him so that they would buy his wares. Trying to make someone scared of him was an entirely different game. It was one he wasn’t sure he was terribly proficient at. He wasn’t a corker when it came to impersonating mean people, that was for sure. Of course, he could have impersonated a friendly pirate; not all pirates were jerks to each other. However, he didn’t think it would be particularly believable if an undercover pirate was nice to someone who could possibly blab their secrets. So, he decided to continue with the persona he was using. It was too late to switch it up at this point regardless. A switch-up would be nothing but revealing to the pirate mermaid. “The operation?” The mermaid said, eyes narrowed slightly. Chrysoara nearly sighed. Those narrowed eyes told him she may have figured out what game he was playing. He would still continue until he was sure. “I don’t know anything.” Lorelai mumbled the last bit, as if she was unsure of whether she should be speaking of it to him. Chrysoara was completely sure that it was a lie, but he wasn’t positive regarding where he should take his impromptu interrogation next. He could always ask more questions, but if she was already suspecting that he was a fraud then he was not likely to get any information. Of course, there was also the possibility that she was mumbling and not saying much because she was afraid Chrysoara would kill her if she did. Did he play the aggressive game too strong? Doubtful, but the possibility existed. “Good” Chrysoara replied, making his decision. “Keep it that way.” He wasn’t going to get any more information from her, either way. He had managed to uncover some useful information, though. They were definitely up to something on Nemea regarding this map. Perhaps Chrysoara should go check on Ceu and see what was going on in the town? He was starting to get worried that she hadn’t returned yet. After-all, Chrysoara had finished his fight some time ago. Perhaps she had yet to meet with any of the pirates, though that seemed doubtful. More likely, she had already fought some of them. In that case, she should have finished the fight and made it back here by now if she had won. Chrysoara didn’t really think it possible that these pirates had beaten her. Sure, Ripster had implied that the Captain of their small crew was stronger than he was. However, Ceu was leagues above Chrysoara in strength. She could do more than hold her own. She was a force to be reckoned with when she unsheathed her blade. She couldn’t lose. Still, Chrysoara wasn’t exactly about to trust her with provisions for too long. She was likely not to get everything he asked for. He should go check on her, just in case. Chrysoara began his slow and unsteady walk. He was so exhausted. His eyelids felt as if they weighed twenty pounds each. He didn’t glance back at Lorelai as he walked away. She was chained up and more experienced interrogators could try to extract information from her whenever he reported this to his superiors. Chrysoara was no interrogator. He was simply good with people. |

Jynx reared back, striking the man square in the spine, with all four of her knuckles, eliciting a yell from him, as his body contorted and his arms and legs shot straight out, in several directions. "Aaand we're done." Jynx stated, patting her hands together and stepping away from the table, "Tell the next customer to come in." She said, as the muscular man tried getting up normally, but found himself springing to his feet, with more energy he could ever recall having, since he was first starting as a slave, but he also felt way too relaxed. He felt lighter than air. Jynx simply returned to tending the candles as the man left the room, staggering over his own speed. The other men watched their comrade step out of the room, as his bruises were... gone. There was something odd about this lady's massages, no doubt, she was doing a bit more than rubbing their sore spots. Gradually, more and more curious workers lined up, even some marines taking point, as satisfied client after satisfied client poured out, after noises of what seemed to be pain came from the other side of the door. Meanwhile, the pirates drew their blades, still somewhat confused, but ready to fight, nonetheless. At least, this is what they thought, before another voice appeared behind them, "Well done, madam, that was certainly a tough customer." the wise voice remarked, as a slender long-arm man stepped past the pirates, confusing them further, "Who the hell are you? Get lost, old man!" one of the pirates yelled, as Lucius noticed Ceu rubbing her eyes, so he pulled out his handkerchief and grabbed a small canteen of water, soaking it with some water, and he was wringing it out, getting it a reasonable dampness as a pirate lunged at him. Oddly enough, Lucius didn't move his arms, but a blur of movement did in fact occur, as if another arm emerged and, in that instant, the Pirate's sword clattered on the ground, and the elderly man stepped in and passively elbowed the man in the face, knocking him back, before he reached the girl, "For your eyes, madam." He said, offering his handkerchief to her, with a formal bow. |

Raising her head from the small bow, Céu was already prepared to engage in a fight with the pirates. Yet a familiar voice stopped her and the small mob from starting, forcing them to acknowledge him before attempting an attack. The swordswoman knew this voice, however it was rather hard to discern who it belonged to. She was still affected by some blurriness in her sight, fighting with several goons wasn't going to be easy. If Jubuki didn't speak and made noise with his swords, she wouldn't never been able to defeat him. It was only because he was quite loud and just a single target. The noise he made was enough to discern his location, and from the weight of the sword colliding, she measured the extent of his abilities. Céu didn't took her hand of the handle as she was watching the man quick movement towards her. If the lean man didn't approach with his hand up high and a small bow, she would throw a swing at him. “ Mr. Lucius?! Thank you! I honestly forgot about you! How is every-”Céu took the handkerchief and began cleaning her irritated eyes, however she didn't finish it, as the small mob didn't stay idle to the act of the long-arm man. One of the pirates at the end of the mob and behind the butler was raising a small firearm with the intent to shoot at the old man. The pirate was farther that they could reach at melee range, and if she didn't move, Mr. Lucius would be injured or worse. All because he was being kind enough to help her. Céu swiftly reached for one of his long limbs and with a quick snap pulled it back and to the ground, with the same motion she let her body fall forward besides Lucius, as if she had stumbled. Yet, she let him go and right before reaching the floor, she dashed forward in a straight line, as her speed increased immensely, quickly reaching within attacking range. An upward swing came as soon as the gap was shortened, however it wasn't fast enough to prevent the gun from firing. Céu successfully blew the gun out of the pirate hand, as a thundering noise was heard. It wasn't from the gunfire but rather the loud sound came from where the swordswoman was. Her eyes grew big but quickly faded, she just did the technique she wanted. After a bunch of failures, it finally came off. Céu wasn't thinking of anything except protect Mr. Lucius. The swordswoman mouth almost twisted into a smile, however the situation didn't call for celebration. The pirates weren't going to wait to get attacked. And Mr. Lucius status was still unknown as she didn't see if the bullet missed. “Mr. Lucius, if you are well, several have firearms target those first!” Céu voice broke under the fear of the well being of the civilian, yet at the end she took a commanding tone. She noticed another man pulling out his gun. They were quite fortunate that her technique startled their foes, however Céu was once again forced to use the small technique, as she tackled on the group of pirates.
