“Hey, Yo.” The man said as the Butler tapped him on the shoulder. “I don’t appreciate being touched like that.” The man reached for his sword and nonchalantly drew it. The man on the other side did the same, as if on cue. The only one who hadn’t reached for his weapons was the Fishman in the middle. This one completely ignored the strange suited man but focused entirely on the woman with a hand on her blade. Her posture told him one thing. She knew how to fight. “No… and the only map I have is that old family heirloom that my great-grandfather made to explain why we have wings….” The shop-keep said hesitantly. “Go get that map for us.” The Fishman said, his attention turning to her as she spoke. “Or else I’ll tell my boys here to run wild.” He turned his attention towards the woman with a hand on her blade. “As for you, if you so much as move…well, let’s just say you’ll be regretting it. Understand?” He rested his hands on his blades. Chrysoara watched and listened as Jynx reacted to the pirates. He ground his teeth as more pirates had joined the original duo. These ones weren’t all Fishman or Mermaids, though. There were humans in the bunch as well. She appeared to be conflicted but decided to go after the pirates. After listening to her some more, he realized the reason behind her decision was him. “I’m flattered that you are thinking of me, Jynx, but I’m a marine. I can’t let pirates wreak havoc in a town.” Though, Chrys had to admit that she had a point. He still only had one arm. What was he going to do if they did start to cause chaos? He couldn’t fight them all off. Perhaps he was better off leaving it to her. Chrys turned his head towards the crew. He couldn’t do much to help them, either. He was absolutely worthless with his arm the way it was. However, none of that mattered. He had to make sure the pirates didn’t cause any chaos. It’d be better if he knew anything about them. “I can go after them while you treat the crew. Do you happen to have any recent bounties on you? It’d be nice to know what we are getting into. Particularly that large Fishman. He seems like he may be a monster.” As Chrysoara said that, the Fishman let out a roar and turned around. Had he heard them? He must have some exceptional hearing if he heard them talking about arresting and trailing them. The rest of the pirates kept walking. Chrysoara sighed. It seemed they were intent on causing chaos and didn’t want either Jynx or himself to trail and stop them. “No need to look up bounties” The Fishman growled as he took a massive step towards the duo. Chrysoara could already tell why he was left behind. He was strong. His aura told them that much. “I’ve got a bounty of 10 Million! My boss, though, has an even greater bounty. His bounty is 30 million! You weaklings can’t do anything about us. I’ll just beat you up, then go help the boss collect the map so we can get out of here. The big boss will be happy once we get the map for him.” |

Lucius was experienced in going unnoticed, as his polite behavior belied his training. He shifted his shoulders, returning his hands to his back, hiding his third arm joint and hands' movements, as they turned, reaching into the back of his suit. "Apologies, sir, but you and your friends have arrived at an awkward time. You see, we still have business with this young lady, and I don't believe she wants to part with an heirloom, especially since you aren't even asking politely." He stated, quite calmly, while he was watching the others draw their weapons or just preparing for a fight. "On an unrelated matter, would you gentlemen happen to be pirates?" He asked, curiously, tilting his head, ever-so-slightly. He understood that when someone answers a question, at the barest level, the answerer feels some sense of superiority in teaching someone else something, and if these people broke out into a fight with too much confidence, then they could settle this quickly. His only worry came from the fishman, as he seemed far more composed than the others, and far more skilled. A fight against him would be unfavorable, and Lucius found himself hoping the swordswoman beside him could hold her own against him. At the docks, Jynx shook her head towards Chryws, "Normally I just assume that if a pirate was causing trouble, the town would provide their-" she was cut off by the large beast of a fishman, who lumbered towards them. She stared up at him, calmly hearing out his boasting. She sighed, and popped her neck, tilting her head in different directions, in the hope of loosening up, "I'm very sorry, sir, but I never was very good with numbers, you'll have to show me what a 10 million bounty means." She explained, casually challenging the being. "You can cover me, I don't want you in the direct line of fire." She stated turning to stare Chrys in the eyes, staring over the bulky foe, “I think directly attacking him isn’t really an option, at least, not just punches.” She remarked, clenching her fists, but oddly sticking one knuckle out, and supporting it with her thumb. “I’d like to ask you to not struggle too much, that’ll strain your muscles.” |

"What ya think, joints!" The pirate shoved Lucius away and pointed his sword at his face. "Play nice so I don'ave to cut ya a new smile!" With the overly and annoying polite man in his place, the pirate kicked a chair and began to threaten the costumers inside. The other one was close by doing something similar, thrashing the place about and telling the girl to hurry. "I see, I advise to pretend to go grab it and then try to take cover or hide in a safe place." Céu spoke slowly and almost in whisper, trying to not alert the crab fishman in front of her. The girl gave a light nod and directed her words towards the spider crab fishman. "Please do don't do any harm to anyone or the store, I will fetch the map give me a minute." The swordswoman didn't move as per the request of the pirate and watched as the girl went inside a door. Most of the people also began to clear off and run outside the pavilion, there wasn't anyone in immediate danger, apart from the butler, however Céu knew by instinct the man was capable of handling himself. Otherwise he wouldn't have approached her, without her being able to notice. "You come barging in, demanding a map that doesn't belong to you, and then you start ordering a marine around. I am afraid the one regretting anything will be you and your friends." Céu legs tensed up as she moved within a single movement forward. Appearing in a sudden motion in front of the large fishman already swinging her sword in an upward slash. A sharp sound of metal clashing resonated as Céu felt her katana heavy, and almost being forcefully stopped in the middle of the attack. The spider crab fishman held currently four swords in a strange stance, two of them were crossed blocking his body while the other two blocked above the chest and his head. "Impressive marine girl, I wanted to stop your strike not deflect it." The fishman swung his swords around casually while leaving four of his other arms crossed. "I usually leave the chicks to Lorelai but I will make an exception for you." |

Chyrsoara watched the monster before him. He was monstrous. He roared as Jynx talked, not listening to her extremely cool boasts. Chrysoara, however, heard every word she said. “You’re a bounty hunter, right?” Chrysoara asked, slightly hesitantly. He was still injured but he didn’t want to let this woman fight the pirate alone, even if she implied that she should be the main one fighting the monster. “You don’t have to attack him directly. I’ll go forward and attack him head on.” Chrysoara took a step forward in front of Jynx. She was big and she seemed to have some medical knowledge but Chrysoara wasn’t sure how she would hold up in a fight. A ten million bounty was no joke. Chrysoara would struggle against someone that strong. He wasn’t about to let Jynx do it alone. He looked back to her and then glanced towards his injured arm. “Don’t worry. I’m sturdier than I look.” Chrysoara heard the stomping before he turned his head back. The creature lumbered towards them. Chrysoara watched his movements. He was slow. As he got closer, his sheer might astounded Chrysoara. The man was a brick wall. The massive fist flew towards Chrysoara, and he barely dodged it by ducking beneath it. Chrysoara could feel the force of the blow as it barely grazed his translucent tentacle hair. He grunted. Ducking wasn’t his forte. It took too much speed and Chrysoara just wasn’t that quick of an individual. He was used to winning battles of power. He didn’t think that was likely to happen in this case. Damn Shark Fishman. They always thought they were the biggest and badass. Chrysoara quickly stepped inside the Fishman’s range, only to catch an incoming knee in the stomach. Chrysoara felt his body lift off the ground. It felt like he was moving in slow motion as he flew backwards, slamming onto his back near where he started. He could hear the large fishman laughing. |

"Hey, hold on a second, that's not what I-!" She started, as Chrys dashed past her. She sighed, fighting with a broken limb was a disadvantage, at best, and as it stands, it seemed their current foe easily outclassed the fishman. She winced, watching one she considered a customer and a patient be thrown into the air. She moved, surprisingly swiftly, as she moved underneath him, holding out her arms, and bracing her knees as he fell. Chrys's body weight travelled throughout her body, in an instant, and she immediately puffed out some air, almost whistling, before she sagged her arms, letting him roll onto the docks. She breathed hard, Jeez, this guy's big! "Speaking of big..." she thought to herself, as she stood up straight, grabbing her white coat, and tossing it aside, making it land on one of the pier's wooden posts, before she turned her head, to glare at the pirate. "So, your friend mentioned you're a bounty hunter, right?" The massive shark man asked, cracking his neck, "That's right," She confirmed, calmly, before raising her hand to point at herself, using her index finger, "I am known as Soul Shaker Jynx." She stated, more as a fact, and slightly lacking in confidence, despite her battle-ready expression. She took a stance, her right hand sticking two of her knuckles out of the fist, while her left only showed one knuckle sticking out. The fishman stopped, seeming to ponder her words, for a moment, before he shrugged, "Nope, haven't heard of ya." He swung at her, with his right, in a hooking strike, with enough force to tear off someone's head. She casually dodged this by ducking, and pivoting on the spot, driving her two knuckles into the man's wrist. "Pugnale Knock!" She yelled, as she struck, sending the arm upwards and away from her, making his swing far more open than he intended, leaving his lower torso and thighs completely exposed, "Damn! She's kinda strong!" The fishman realized, just now realizing her strength was a bit higher than the average, even with her muscles. She pivoted, keeping her body low, as she swung her left, "Stiletto Knock!" she yelled, striking the man in his thigh. The fishman winced, for a moment, at the impact, before raising his brow. He didn't really feel any pain from that attack. "What was that!? Was that supposed to hurt me!?" He yelled, obnoxiously, as Jynx stood, "No, not really, you really shouldn't be feeling much sensation in that leg now." She stated, as she stepped back, staring at him expectantly. A scream could be heard nearby, as the mermaid from before resisted against a man who was holding her and yelling orders back at her. She scowled, glancing from the fishman to the scene at the other direction, "Chrysoara, I'm sorry, but do you think you can hold out for a short while? I'll come back as soon as possible." She needed to know if Chrysoara could still fight. The pirate fishman growled, "You're not going anywhere!" As he tried to charge towards her, but his leg locked up, and made him stagger, "What the hell...? The hell'd ya do to me!?" He roared, angrily, "Relax, sharkman, I just made your leg muscles stiffen up a little bit, it isn't permanent, but it's the least I can do to level the playing field for you and your fight." She explained, briefly, before walking towards the scene that was playing out. Meanwhile, Lucius was pushed aside by the pirates, allowing himself to be shoved as he was directly threatened. The man closest to him went on to threaten the customers. Lucius rotated his shoulders, and stepped behind the man, who registered his presence and started to turn, "Oy, you old bastard! what'd I-" He was cut off, as the elderly man stamped down on the back of the pirate's leg, forcing it to crumple down, before he struck the man in the temple with the hilt of a short, three-pronged weapon, knocking him unconscious, "Terribly sorry, blood is just so difficult to clean, so i can't afford to splatter blood anywhere, lest it land on my suit." He explained, courteously. The other pirate turned, at the sound of someone falling, thinking, for a moment, that his comrade had struck down someone, but he gaped as he saw his comrade laying there, and the old man bearing sai. Lucius pulled out another sai, and twirled them around, on his fingers, with experience and grace. "Damn you!" the pirate yelled, lunging forward, bringing his blade down, as Lucius simply skipped backwards, out of the range of the attack. He tucked his arms behind his back, yet again, as he moved. He continued hopping back, before he slid behind one of the shelves, leading his foe to charge after him, rounding the turn, to see that the man had disappeared. "What the hell? where'd he go...?" He asked, glancing around, before he glanced upwards, spotting a spindly monster hanging in the rafters above. A scream could be heard from the direction of the aisle. The crab fishman was busy talking to himself after he successfully parried the slash Céu swiftly sent. The swordswoman had better things to do than deal with this pirate, he appeared a the worst time. If only they could be considerate and wait for her to grab the food, and appear only after it... she didn't care about even contacting the high ups, Céu just wanted everyone well feed. Before her attack she noticed how many blades was the pirate carrying, he was clearly holding back his true strength. Céu stepped back after her blow got deflected and with a flick of her wrist she began adjusting her stance."Could you please use all your swords, I am in quite an hurry." She held her katana firmly grasping it with her both hands right above her head. "A Jodan stance, haven't seen that in awhile... What an interesting chick!" The fishman half jokingly shrugged and began cracking his neck. "Why don't you go ahead and make me!" The swordswoman had already started her attack before the taunt, she wasn't there to have a conversation but to quickly deal with the criminal and go about her business. The fishman got ready but his attention was quickly caught by one of his crewmates screaming and shouting his name. "What th-" The swordsman didn't got the time to watch what happened as Céu was already in range and swinging down. The fishman promptly crossed his blades to catch the blade, however the sword carried no weight in it, lightly tapping it and sending it back, the pirate realized what was happening the moment he felt something dig in on his sides. From bellow he saw the saya pulling out, as the strike of the attack made him stumble back. jumping back Céu let the crab fishman recover. "Will you now fight properly?" |

Chrysoara struggled to his feet. “I can handle this. Go.” The Jellyfish Fishman said. His voice didn’t raise in volume but the intensity was increased tenfold. The shark glared at Jynx but let her pass. Once she was out of earshot, he snickered. “Lorelai will destroy that girl.” He then began stretching his leg. “Good as new.” Chrysoara grinned. He couldn’t quite explain it but he could feel a sensation pulsing through his body. His muscles pulsed, eager to move. The Jellyfish Fishman grinned. “Well, I’ll just have to defeat you before going to help her out, then.” Chrysoara sad as he took a step forward. The shark stood still like the mountain that he was. Chrysoara decided not to mention that Ceu was in the town. She was stronger than Chrysoara was by far. Well, not stronger. Chrysoara could top her in pure strength. It was just one of the benefits of being a Fishman. However, she was much more skilled of a fighter than Chrys was. She could handle their captain if they caused too much ruckus. He felt that it was highly likely that they would cause problems. They wouldn't have attacked so readily if they were here just to restock on some supplies. it didn't matter, though. They were marines and these were pirates with bounties. They had already done heinous enough acts to earn the ire of the Marine Corps. “Oh? You think you can get past me? You two are worthless. Don’t you realize that? There is nothing that you can do to defeat us. I only bothered to stop and play with you because the Captain already went on ahead. He wouldn’t like to be interrupted.” Chrysoara reached across and grabbed the sling on his left arm. He ripped the sling off and slowly began flexing his arm. He rotated it as if he was getting ready to throw a softball pitch. It still hurt a little bit; however, it was more stiff than painful. Chrysoara knew that Jynx would yell at him if she saw that he was going to fight without the sling. Hell, Ceu would downright murder him. Nevertheless, Chrysoara knew he had no chance against an opponent like this. He had more pure power than Chrysoara thought possible. Of course, he was a massive Fishman. Strength was bound to be his forte. Chrysoara clenched his fist. That was more painful than the arm itself. It seemed that the fist had a bit further to go. He would still be at a handicap since that meant he shouldn’t throw punches with the arm. He would have to use it carefully. He dashed forwards. Chrysoara wasn’t fast. He was actually rather slow. That didn’t stop him from putting the little speed he had to good use against the slower and stronger opponent. The Shark attempted to grab Chrysoara. It was simple to duck underneath the slow swing. Chrysoara slammed his good fist into the fish’s gut. He gasped and doubled over, taking a step back. “Oh oh. You have some power, there. Not many can manage to hurt the great Ripster!” The shark yelled. Clearly declaring that his name was Ripster. Chrysoara ignored it as he took a step in to deliver another blow with his right hand. Sadly, combat wasn’t designed to use the same side of the body over and over. Most martial arts used a circular way of transferring power. Right side goes forward while left side goes back and then repeat. The act of trying to circumvent this transfer of power slowed Chrysoara down immeasurably. That didn’t even mention that it was a jarring act. Chyrosara turned his head just in time to see ripster attempting to capitalize on the opening that Chrysoara had left him. The massive fist swung forward, towards Chrysoara’s left side which was defended only by his injured arm. Chrysoara ground his teeth together as he threw his left arm up. His forearm was held outwards and caught the wild swing. Pain coursed through the injured arm, but he held on. Chrysoara was a trained Fishman Karate Master. He was used to pain like this. He could remember long hours of learning how to fight. He was never the best but he was dedicated. He would punch and kick the wooden post that was wrapped in rope. He wasn’t sure if it actually hardened his arms and legs or if it just deadened the nerves; regardless, it made his body tough enough to withstand the blow from the mighty Fishman. He looked up into the face of the gargantuan Ripster. He saw fear in Ripster’s eyes. Chrysoara delivered another blow to the gut with his right hand. The shark gasped again but managed to keep himself from stepping backwards this time. The shark reached forward with his left hand. Chrysoara saw the hand coming but couldn’t move quick enough to avoid it. All he had time to do was draw his arms in close. His ribs would be protected if the giant tried to crush him but, other than that, he was at the mercy of the creature that held him. |

Jynx nodded, at Chrys's response, this guy was dangerous, that last blow especially, she wasn't entirely sure she could have gotten up from a direct hit from that, let alone match it's power directly. Merely parrying the strike was a feat of itself. She felt bad for leaving Chrys on his own, but this was quite a large crew, and she couldn't have the townsfolk be threatened. And that mermaid was in trouble, she had overheard many people speak of how much they would appreciate a mermaid slave, so she couldn't afford to allow her to be held by these pirates any longer. She approached the scene, at surprising speed, for her size, as she skidded to a stop, tapping the pirate holding the marine on the neck, and with a creaking noise, his body seized up, and collapsed. She stood, staring down at the mermaid, "Are you okay?" She asked, scanning the girl's body for wounds. There seemed to be none, but that couldn't be said about her mental state. The mermaid gaped for a moment, tears streaming down her face. “Th-Thank y-you…” she sobbed, throwing herself onto her savior. Immediately, Jynx picked her up, “huh?” the mermaid grunted, in surprise, as the massive lady swung her around, checking her body for wounds, as well as tapping her body, here and there, before dropping her to the ground, gently. “Hey, look at that! You’re absolutely fine!” She remarked, smiling, and patting her on the shoulder. This had an adverse effect on the mermaid, who paled. Her jig was up, it seemed, and she started drawing a blade behind her back. “Well, I guess that makes sense, I guess they wanted to sell you, huh? That’d explain your body being unharmed, they’d want you in top form, right? Well, you don’t need to worry any more, I’m here to help you!” She stated, firmly, standing confidently, in front of the innocent victim(?), who, was speechless, for a moment, before recovering, “Thank you, thank you, thank you!” She cried, throwing herself on the bounty hunter, “Please, take me away from here!” She pleaded, while thinking to herself, “Jeez, that was close, she’s dangerously sharp, I’m lucky she’s just that bit too naive.” the one known as Lorelai thought to herself, fingering the sharp blade in her sleeves, she needed to wait for the right time to act. Meanwhile, Lucius stepped out of the aisle, twirling his sai casually. He had knocked that other pirate out, as well, a terrified opponent is even easier to dispose of than an unsuspecting one, at least, in Lucius’s eyes. He watched the two swordsmen duel, as he turned towards Ceu, “Forgive me, madam, but I believe I must go and check on my mistress, if there are more pirates out and about, I don’t want her to be stranded, I doubt I can be much assistance anyways.” He explained, formally bowing, before he started walking past the two, just out of reach of their blades, as he stepped over the initial pirate he knocked out. Out of nowhere, the crab pirate closed in, swinging at Lucius, who seemed to vanish in place, and a buzz filled the crab man’s ear, for a moment, before it was gone, “Tch, slippery little rat. I’ll deal with him later, besides, you’re much more interesting, lady.” He complimented his foe, while preparing for another round. Edited by DracNosferatu, Feb 14 2018, 04:09 PM.

Céu was holding her katana steady keeping the crab fishman blades in check, Lucius casually addressed her and left. However if she wasn't there the careless act from the butter would have cost him greatly. The pirate wasn't swinging without a thought, the slash which was aimed at Lucius was charged with something she saw her mentor use once. Céu had nodded slightly in acknowledge of his concern, she was also worried sick about the ship crew back in the dock. Still parrying four swords at once was rather difficult, if it wasn't the length of her katana, there was no way she could defend all of them. "Sorry, I am not interested." The swordswoman shot down immediately the pirate fishman. She needed to deal with him as fast as possible and go check on the crew. It was kind of weird the man was calling her interesting, the crab fishman wasn't her type at all, nor she had any interest in a dumb and pushy pirate. Jumping back into a safe distance, she fixed her stance and got ready to another attack. "Uh, not in that way!" The crab fishman was slightly flustered which was quite hard to see on his face taken he was mostly red, but his action became a little sloppy, as he awkwardly took out all his swords. "I wanted to take my time cutting you slowly, but I also need to grab that map and get the two idiots who got knocked out." The spider crab fishman began to slowly move all of his arms in an erratic motion, his blades had the same glint from before and without even moving from the same spot, the pirate sent a barrage of wind pressure slashes flying towards Céu. The swordswoman didn't want to act recklessly and attack head on, she needed to confirm her suspicious, but what was being thrown at her was way above her expectations. |

Chrysoara let out a groan. The gargantuan Ripster’s hands attempted to squeeze the life out of him. Chrysoara, to his benefit, had his hands braced against the larger Fishman’s. He had his elbows pressed against his ribs for support and his hands outwards, pushing with all his might. Chrysoara’s arms bulged but they did not give. Fishman Karate was tied intrinsically with Fishman Jujitsu. They had some similar components because of this. One of them was that one should take advantage of defensive positions. They should take advantage of the positions and wait. That was because most defensive positions, if done properly, could be done in a way that made them take less energy than the offensive. In this case, Ripster was tiring himself out by squeezing with all his might. Chrysoara, meanwhile, was struggling due to the Fishman’s immense strength but was able to hold him off due to the way he was bracing. “Give….up!” Ripster roared as he squeezed his victim. Chrysoara groaned again as the onslaught picked up in intensity. His mind raced. What could he do in this situation? He was stuck being squeezed by a physically superior opponent. Chrys wasn’t sued to this. He was used to fighting weaker humans who had better technique… How did they beat him? They didn’t overpower him, most of the time. No, most of the sparring partners he has had in his life won through superior skill and ingenuity. Simply put, they were better fighters than Chrys even though he was their physical superior. So, what could he do that would have that same effect? Chrysoara could think of nothing. The pressure from being squeezed was beyond uncomfortable. It had moved well into painful territory. Especially his injured arm, it ached and throbbed every second he was being squeezed and he could feel it beginning to give. “Hey!” The voice echoed from the docks. Chrysoara couldn’t see due to the large body of the fishman blocking his view; however, he recognized the voice. It was one of the ex-slaves who had been repairing the dock. Why was he yelling at them? They couldn’t beat this monster! “Run!” Chrysoara croaked out. As he did so, he could hear the humongous Fishman begin to cackle. It rose from deep within his belly and got to the point Chrysoara was afraid he would fall over laughing. If he did, Chrys would surely be crushed underneath him. “Are they important to you?” Ripster asked, his voice dropping so that only Chrysoara could hear him. Chrysoara wanted to punch this Fishman in the face. He had never felt like this in his life. He was powerless and being toyed with! “I’ll tear them limb from limb. Don’t worry, you won’t have to watch. I’ll still kill you first!” Chrysoara felt himself being lifted higher into the air, to the point he was above the monster’s head. He was going to slam Chrysoara into the ground and then kill their companions..and what about Jynx and Ceu? They could handle themselves – well, Ceu could. Chrys wasn’t sure about Jynx, but she seemed like she could. That wouldn’t matter if Chrysoara lost the fight here, though. They were likely in tough fights of their own. If they were and this monster showed up to fight against them as well? They’d be done for. Chrysoara ground his teeth and his normally semi-translucent skin turned red with rage. Chrysoara tried to move his right hand. Chrysoara could barely move it, but he could a little bit. The steel gauntlet flexed as he moved his fingers ever so slightly. The steel gauntlet. It was the gauntlet he had found in the Auction House on Salt Island. Chrysoara had spent some time playing with it when he was on the ship. The gauntlet had blades embedded in the fingers of it. They were made of steel. It didn’t matter if this person’s skin was as tough as iron. It would be penetrated by steel. Chrysoara stopped pushing against the fist with his right hand and immediately shifted it so that his outstretched fingers were pointed towards the hand. As he did so, the force of Ripster’s grip caused the steel fingernails to penetrate deep into his flesh. The steel blades weren’t very long, but they went in to the bottom of the blade. It was more than enough to get what Chrysoara needed. Ripster howled in a mixture of surprise and pain as he let go with his right hand. Chrysoara fell to the ground but it was a much more optimal situation than being thrown to the ground. He managed to land deftly on his feet. Finally free, Chrysoara lunged towards the still howling Fishman. His punches could hurt him, but the damage was relatively limited. Chrysoara wasn’t used to using blades of any kind but it seemed that it was necessary for this fight. Chrysoara slashed his hand across in front of him, aimed towards Ripster’s knee. The blades slashed across it, causing the giant shark to howl in pain yet again. He slumped forward, landing hard on his injured knee. Chrysoara clenched his left fist and ran forward. He lept onto Ripster’s knee and bounded off it. Flying in the air, Chrysoara swung with his left fist toward’s Ripster’s face. His injured fist slammed directly into Ripster’s face. The shark fishman flew backwards as a sickening crunch resounded. Chrysoara landed as his opponent collapsed in front of him. His breathes came in ragged gasps. He was still sore and in pain from being squeezed but that was nothing compared to the pain he currently felt in his left hand. Swinging with that fist wasn’t a good idea but it would have taken him longer to swing with the other fist and he wanted to avoid what had happened earlier. Chrysoara drank the pain in. For once, he enjoyed the pain. This fishman was a challenge. He was…a warrior and for the first time in Chrysoara’s life, Chrysoara felt like a warrior, too. |

Jynx felt horrible for leaving chrys alone, and just felt awkward around this mermaid, "So... anyways, You should hide in one of these houses, I've gotta go help that marine back there, that big pirate is a problem, he could really mess this place up, and even though Chrys seems pretty tough, I'm not too sure it's a good idea to split up like this..." She explained, counselling the mermaid into one of the buildings, a shop, but the mermaid threw herself onto the bounty hunter, desperately, "Please! Don't leave me alone! I need some sort of comfort after an experience like that, don't you think!?" She wailed, pathetically. Jynx pondered, for a moment, before realizing, "Oh! I know just the thing!" She realized, smiling. Lorelai smirked, "all I need is for this fool to hug me, then a knife'll be in her back, straight into her spine, then it'll be all over, before she can even think about it. She should be thankful I'll do it so quickly, but she's a bit too strong to play around with, unfortunately. Unfortunately, this was Lorelai's first mistake, of many she'd make when faced with this bounty hunter in particular. She found her wrist grabbed, and she was steered into an alleyway, "Hey! What are you-!" She started, before Jynx glanced around, "This is for your privacy, now, please lie down, and I can massage you." She explained, calmly, as she cracked her knuckles. "What!? Massage me?" "Well, yeah, it'll make you feel better, I promise." Jynx stated, absolutely, crossing her arms, making it clear she wasn't lying. "this one's on the house, so don't worry about costs, just relax your mind." She whispered, already creating a calming atmosphere as she gripped the mermaid's shoulders. She stiffened, for a moment, but Jynx's strong hands quickly melted away the maiden's tenseness, as she obligingly lied down, as Jynx kneaded her shoulders, touching and pressing a number of nerves along her neck and shoulder-blades, relaxing her body, "My, you're tense, how long have you been their captive?" Jynx inquired, noting the resistance of her customer's muscles provided. "I can't even remember, but, I, ah, belong with another crew, a, uh, trading ship, when I was free before I was... captured by pirates, the idiots I work with even then are always on my nerves, they're always such... brutes, oh, that's good... And these pirates even put me to work..." The mermaid explained, trying to stay to her sob story, despite the lovely feeling of her muscles relaxing after so long, "I've... ah... Never experienced something like this... a massage you say?" She said, sighing contentedly in her treatment, as Jynx nodded, "Mm-hm! I'm just touching some of your nerve endings in a way that stimulates your muscles, causing them to lose tension, and therefore causing sore muscles to heal easier, as it aids blood flow, as less energy is being diverted into the muscles." She explained, trying to simplify, but still putting way too much detail into the process. |

Céu watched the overwhelming attack move at an unexpected speed, the barrage of attacks flew swiftly merciless at her. The swordswoman jumped out of the way and began to sprint as the wind pressure cuts crashed right behind her, the spider crab fishman wasn't letting up and continued to send his ranged flurry of slashes. "You can't run forever." The pirate casually said while throwing his shower of slices towards the marine girl. They were still on the pavilion and despite most of the damage was being inflicted upon the ground, a few items and merchandises were getting ruined from the attack. Céu was managing to evade the technique by using her speed, yet after a split second pause the pirate redirected his aim and started to target directly in front of the swordswoman. Céu saw the ground getting filled with scars right in front, when her reflexes kicked in and she jumped up to evade ruining into to the hail of the thin shockwaves. However, the moment she did the fishman laughed loudly. "You amateur, you're finished." On the air Céu didn't have any place to escape or jump out of the way, realizing that she pulled her blade in front of her and began parrying the barrage of shockwaves. The first ones were easily deflected by her blade, yet the incessant amount, quickly became overwhelming starting to strike her in her legs and arms, pushing her back with such a force she ended up getting blown into the wall of the pavilion, the attack didn't stop until her body fell on the floor on top of some heavy bags full of spice. The spider fishman technique sliced most of them up, as he saw himself forced to stop the attack when the dust kicked up from the spice covered his sight of the girl. "Eh, and I thought you were going to make this interesting..." The pirate said with a bit of disappointment on his voice, he sheathed his swords and went towards the door at the back end of the pavilion. The fishman didn't walk much from his spot as he stopped after hearing someone coughing heavily. "Oh!" The swordsman peeked above his shoulder and noticed a figure amidst the white powder. "I *cough* had more *cough* that enough salt on the other island!" Céu was supporting her body with her katana, trying to get up while grasping for air, the pirate in turn took out his swords and got ready to continue the fight. |

Chrysoara looked around. He would need a way to restrain this monster. They could call in a transport ship to get him once they got a Den Den Mushi. That wasn’t the problem. The problem was what to do with such a monstrously strong individual until then. “Here” A voice sounded from behind Chrysoara, causing him to jump. Chrysoara looked behind him and saw one of the ex-slaves holding out some chains. They looked to be decent quality, though not amazingly strong. Chrysoara couldn’t see anything better in the nearby vicinity and he didn’t feel comfortable just leaving the fishman here on the dock. He grabbed the chains from the man but noticed something strange in his eyes. They were wide and the man’s mouth was open. “You. Little.Punk!” A roar sounded through the air, causing birds to fly out of trees nearby. Chrysoara wasn’t positive, but he thought he saw one of the ex-slaves who were trying to fix the dock get so startled that they fell into the water. Chrysoara slowly turned around. Ripster stood tall. Drops of blood fell from his hand and his leg was bloody. The Shark seemed to ignore the pain as he stared at Chrysoara with the eyes of a wild animal. '“Go” Chrysoara whispered as he looked at the Fishman. They were both hurt. They were both tired. It was time to end this. Part of Chrysoara was excited that the creature stood up. He couldn’t explain it, but part of him had thought that it was too weak of an ending to their fight. Chrysoara dropped the chains. The Ex-slaves gave him looks of incredulity, especially the one who had delivered the chains. He listened, regardless. The man ran away and went further up the docks so as to not get caught up in the end of their fight. Ripster charged forward, moving slightly slower than before due to the injuries. Chrysoara ran forward to meet him. Chrysoara swung with his right arm at the same time as Ripster. Sadly, Chrysoara’s reach was far shorter than Ripster’s reach. The hook caught Chrysoara in the ribs. HE felt his body being lifted in the air as he gasped in pain. Chrysoara flew through the air and off the deck, landing with a splash in the water. He righted himself. The water has always been his domain. It didn’t matter if he was fighting another Fishman. Chrysoara was faster than this guy and that difference should be made even more notable now that they were in the water. A giant splash followed by a wave that rolled over Chrysoara underneath the water signaled the arrival of Ripster. This fight would continue underwater. Edited by Alistor, Feb 21 2018, 07:37 AM.

"I gotta say, massaging a mermaid wasn't what I thought would happen today! I mean, I didn't even know mermaids existed, so this is really cool." She explained, noting some minute physical differences in the makeup of mermaids compared to humans, especially nearing where her body changed into that of a fish. She couldn't help but wonder what her nerve structure looked like, but now was not the time, this woman needed support and relaxation right now. She realized how odd it would sound for her to comment how fascinating this whole scenario was, so she left it at that. In the meantime, she was going to stick with the mermaid's back, generally speaking, people's legs were more resilient to pain, and most people's backs and shoulder muscles feel more pain. This was a grossly general statement, however. Although... Massaging her fish half would be an excellent experiment. Meanwhile, the recipient of her massage had decided. She needed this. She deserved this. She was going to be massaged, then she'll kill this upstart as soon as she turns her back. "Hey, massage my fins." She ordered, sticking up where her feet should be. Jynx stared at the feet(?) for a moment, examining them with her eyes. Again, she was reminded at how fascinating this person was. "I wonder if Master was able to massage a mermaid before...?" she muttered, to herself. "Oh, of course!" She nodded, eagerly moving to rub the fleshy protrusions on the tips of her twin tails, she measured her patient's reactions as she softly stroked each of her tails, "You must have been walking a lot," She remarked, feeling how tough her tails had become. "Yeah, some idiot decided the chairs needed to be, like, super uncomfortable. I could never relax unless I was in my room, but there's ALWAYS something I need to do!" "Hm." Jynx nodded, poking and prodding at the twin tails, noting which parts of their membrane had nerves and which didn't, it was fascinating noting the differences. At the same time, Lucius manifested on the docks, glancing around. He started asking some slaves about if they've seen Jynx. He learned she ran off to fight some pirates, back in town. He frowned, that meant she could be anywhere. He still responded with a polite bow of thanks, regardless. |

"I misjudged you, little girl." The crab fishman removed his swords from the sheaths once again and waited patiently. "My name is Jubuki, what's yours marine?" Céu pulled her body up to a standing position and still was being effected by the salt. Rubbing her eyes she was feeling a sting a bit stronger than when she touched Chrysoara. She had caught him off guard and surprised him, and it was probably why one of her fingers was a bit swollen. However, she would take that any day, instead of suffering this pain on her eyes. "It's- burning- Céu- my eyes- ow,ow- Violante" The swordswoman felt like scratching her eyes out, only to try sustain the terrible itch and pain, however knowing fully well the backlash of rubbing her eyes, the girl stopped and tried to look forward with her blurry vision. "Er, Burningceu Myeyesowowviolante, you humans and your crazy names... Very few took my attack and stood up! Come!" The pirate had a big and wide smile on his face, showing the eagerness and expectation of the incoming fight. The small girl had some interesting moves and if she was capable of withstanding his attack, she was the perfect opponent to get some rust off his joints from the long journey to this island. Céu was wondering what the hell was the crab talking about, yet among the gibberish she fully understood the taunt and willingness to fight with her. Trusting her katana, she pointed at the fishman and replied to his request "Very well, It was been awhile I had crossed blades with another swordsm- fishman. Well, with a fishman is a first...Anyway, none of that matters, I will arrest you for your actions. Prepare yourself!" Céu went into a waki gamae stance where her katana was pointed behind her and the edge facing the ground. "Oi! Marine, I'm over here!" The fishman eyes squinted hard while he watched the brunette girl making a fool of herself. "I see so you are over there, you move quick, couldn't even hear you." Céu quickly shifted her focus to what she though hearing the voice of the man, as her vision still was quite blurry. "Oi,Oi Oi!" The fishman slapped the air with his hand straight, beginning to get frustrated at the girl. " 'I see'... you can see shit, you dumb marine, I didn't even move from the same spot!" Jubuki angrily called her again out because she was once again facing the wrong side, and was starting to fall forward. "Oi,O-" The pirate sword wielder was once again going to comment when the girl in a flash made the distance between them and threw a slash from bellow at his body.
