Physical Appearance Height: 0'5 Height: 155 Grams Hair: Dark Brown Eyes: Hazel Clothing/Accessories: A very tiny standard marine outfit that looks like it was made for a doll. He Is usually carrying around a few small notebooks strapped to his waist by a shred of fabric. Strapped to his back are a pair of human sized gardening shears. General Appearance: One of the darker skinned dwarves and is built rather slim. He always moves in a composed manner while in public but moves more casually when he believes he is alone. This also goes for his fluffy tail, it is usually just as much at attention as he is. The Character Personality: Is quite resolute in most situations and spends most of his time tending to and experimenting with his plants. Whenever he makes a mistake he becomes overly apologetic. Has an irrational fear of giants and gets extremely nervous whenever one is around him even if they are a marine, it's just a matter of the sheer size of them compared to dwarves. He also has a hates octopi with a passion and has great resentment for them. Hometown: Dressrosa, Grand Line History: Kuroba once had every aspect of his life planned out for him. He would be a botanist, just like his father and his father before him. He had no objections to the path he expected, a good paying, easy going occupation. What set him off this path you ask? What else but the antithesis of order and peace, Pirates! On one fateful day, Kuroba was making his daily commute of errands around the streets of Dressrosa when he noticed a commotion in his path. A group of men barged out of a nearby pub to the sound of the owners voice yelling "Stop Thieves!". Not only did these pirates plunder a local buisness, a certain octopus fishman among them had commited a far worse crime by far. Amongst all the yelling of the crowd and the commotion of the scene, a detail was left all but unnoticed by most. This octopus had grabbed several dwarves and suction cupped them to his arms, no doubt to sell them as slaves to the highest bidder. Robbery is one thing but there was no way in hell Kuroba could sit idly by and watch as people are dragged away from their families like animals. Kuroba mustered up all his courage and charged at the fishman in an attempt to trip him up and free his fellow dwarves from his dastardly clutches. This plan seemed to be of no avail, Kuroba was quite faster that the fishman so he caught up quite easily. The variable that had slipped Kuroba's mind was the fact that fishmen were about ten times as strong as the average human. The shove only accomplished two things, the first being moving his foot a few centimeters while he was running, the second was drawing attention to himself. The octopus promptly scooped him up and attached him to the last free suction cup. By the time the pirates had reached their ships, the dwarves had ceased struggling and accepted their fate. And there Kuroba was, on his way to be made into a personal belonging of some rich outlaw. All in all, pretty crappy day. Apparently, Dwarf slaves sell fast in the black market because within an hour Kuroba overheard them discussing prices over the Den Den Mushi. They struck a deal with a buyer who lived around 3 months from their current location. That gave the pirates plenty of time to "Train" the eight dwarves that they had kidnapped for their new profession as tools. Weeks of mental tortue insue. having to perform like monkey's in their cages that the pirates had shoved them in. All of the other dwarven prisoners were absolutely miserable, but Kuroba had become accustomed to his new surroundings within a few days. He figured that there was no way out of the situation, so why spend your time weeping in a cage. It was dark in the hold of the ship so telling how much time had passed was difficult. In reality, Kuroba had spent two weeks prisoner on this ship when one of the shorter members of the pirate crew approached the cage that Kuroba was being kept in, very clearly intoxicated. "Hey dwarf!" the pirate exclamed smugly. "I just read this book and apparently, you little guys are good with plants.". Kuroba nodded in agreement hesitantly due to all of the "training" he had recieved, The pirate tossed a pair of slightly rusted gardening shears into the cage. This was a mind numbingly idiotic thing to do, giving a captive prisoner a sharp object. But, Kuroba was so tamed at this point that he had no interest in attempting escape. Whether or not this crewman knew this is another story entirely. Kuroba, having nothing better to do, decided to train his physical body, when he wasn't being psychologically molded that is. Only two weeks to go until the ship reaches the rondevue point. Kuroba had trained his body substantially during this period of time. While doing his daily workout routine, Kuroba was alarmed by the sound of large crashes on the ship. These were followed by many footsteps creaking the deck of the ship. Within five minutes, marined came rushing into the hold. The other dwarves were ecstatic at the revelation that they were free from their captors. Kuroba,on the other hand, was just dumbfounded by how quickly his unsermountable enemy was subdued. Marines rushed into the hold to free all of the slaves kept there. Kuroba gathered his belongings that were scattered along his holding cage and casually walked out of the hold for the first time in nearly three months with a blank look on his face and walking in a casual manner,as opposed to his fellow former slaves who were crying tears of joy as they scurried out of the ship and boarded the naval vessel. The psychological trauma Kuroba had endured effected him substantially more than the rest of the captives. To him, there was no point in getting excited over the new change, he would just go back to his former routine. That was until he caught a glance of the scene that inspired him more than any other in his life so far. The octopus fishman that had started this whole fiasco was being shoved into a boat by a couple of marines. At that moment Kuroba felt a rush of emotion, he took in the fresh sea air as tears of joy rolled down his cheeks. For the first time in his life he had made a choice for his own future. He would become a marine and fight to end the age of piracy for good. On the journey back to Dressrosa, Kuroba joined the marines in their daily routine and even helped out a bit around the ship. After a seemingly endless three months of voyaging, the captured dwarves made it back to their home. Kuroba's loved ones were all elated to see him, as he them. Though after merely a few minutes of being reunited, Kuroba broke the news of him joining the marines. At first they were astonished by this, but after seeing how adament he was about it they accepted that this is what he truly wanted to do. And there he was, about to set out on a journey to make the world just a little safer. All in all, a pretty great day. Abilities and Possessions Combat: Kuroba's main objective in combat is to rush the opponent to leave them open for others to attack. Isn't one to land many finishing blows, but is useful in team based combat.

Traits: Dwarf (2 General Traits) - Dwarves are extremely small humanoids with fluffy tails. Dwarves gain the benefits of the Mighty Strength trait and have a mastery benefit on all their movement techniques of +4 ranks. Their small sizes makes them harder to hit but they also take more damage when hit. They tend to be extremely gullible. Great Speed (1 General Trait) - This character's speed is boosted by 20%. Critical Hit (1 Professional Trait) - Through training in how to hit vital points in the body, the character can use up to a quarter of their Technique Points in techniques which hit vital points in the body. Striking vital points allows characters to do damage and cause a stat debuff related to the area struck.
