The tall one continued to be worried about money. It was decidedly un-manly of him. Perhaps he wasn't three midgets but rather three children instead? That would certainly explain the eccentricities. Jona rather liked this 'Red Rust' fella. He seemed to be a manly sort, and that was Jona's thing. Of course neither of them matched up to the Golden Armored Paladin, with his gilded armor and well-crafted muscles. After Rust's introduction, a name Jona found to be a perfect fit for once, he opted to introduce himself again considering his first was done before Rust's arrival. "The name's Jona," he said with a grin. "And this tall one is named Vain JuggedJujitsu." Once more, Jona grinned. He was proud of remembering Vain JetwayJuicer's name. It was a weird name, after all. It did have a bit of a manly ring to it, though. |

OOC: Sorry for delay guys! Vain remained silent despite his supposed 'partners' introducing his last name as as JuggedJujitsu. Vain's eyes shifted between the two. He felt uneasy given the delusional mental fortitude of these two. However, he was self aware that his own tendencies of carving human flesh were also abnormal. The saying 'always be careful of the silent ones' applied to him in this case. The impending figure simply towered over the two passively. He didn't say anything as to confuse the two others of his true intentions. "Right, so you lot follow me" House motioned with a flick of his wrist for the loose knit group to follow. Thirty Minutes Later... The group arrived to the gates of a dark city. The large concrete door reduced to rubble leaving a wide open gate for all to enter. The brick walls lining the large gateway were cracked with vines growing a top of them. The sense of bloodlust would fill the group strangely - compelling them to charge forward. Vain simply stood behind the rest. His eyes scanned into the wide doorway. He could see a multitude of buildings which were equally as destabilized as the doorway. There was garbage and rubble litering the entire 'city'. "Here we are" House whispered. "If you head north for a mile inside you should find the fishmen hide out. We've isolated their location here based off our agents. You need to go You'll have sixty minutes from when you first enter to do as much damage as possible. Sneak attack, poison, explosions, killing strikes, whatever you want to do just get the job done." House placed emphasis on his last few words. "After that, get out of there. Our kill-team unit and reconnoissance unit will have mapped out and set timed explosions throughout the area. From there, we will have trained snipers most likely fire down upon the group. Even with this, I'm not sure it'll be enough to take them out..." House sighed. The look in his eyes was filled with grief. Perhaps a past filled with a great many mistakes. He took a moment to regain himself before sternly looking up at the group. "Get out in time. We need you to weaken them so we can kill them. These are tough bastards. They've withstood a lot more and we don't know how. I repeat, get out in an hour. Good luck!" House stated. Vain stood silent. He didn't say anything as per usual. He instead watched the others to see what they would do. He listened to the words of House carefully. There would be a strike set upon them if they did not leave in time. Reaching for his watch, Vain pulled out a crudely designed pocket watch from his pocket. He opened it and checked the time before placing it back into his pocket. His strange impending eyes looked at the others momentarily. Without hesitation, he walked forward. His cape fluttered as he walked past the gates. As he passed house he muttered something to him. "75%. Don't forget." he said calmly. Making his way into the rubble city. The man chose to turn right and walk along the backside of houses. He made his way down - constantly looking over his shoulder. Should they chose to follow, Vain would simply remain quiet. He found himself enjoying the solitude for however long it would last. The man was careful not to make any unnecessary noise. Vain carefully looked to see if he were stepping on any glass or broken bottles. He kept to the shadows in this dark setting. The overcast sky began to slowly pour trickles of rain. Vain himself rose a hand from his cloak. The hand slowly pulled up a hoodie from the back end of his cloak which covered his mouth. He began walking towards the targets. |

Red Rust forwent anything House had to say and was already heading north as soon as he got the information. Unlike Vain, Rust gave not a care in the world about any broken glass or debris making noise. Anyone on look out could easily spot Rust coming from a mile away. Unfortunately for the fishmen, they too were confident in themselves, holed up in their base and not on a careful watch. This was a strike and Rust was definitely going to be their wake-up call and their sayonara. The building was close and Rust was only maybe a dozen yards away, chuckling to himself. Anyone with some kind of ability to sense aura could definitely taste the bloodlust flowing out from his body. Suddenly stopping, like some kind of bipolar nut, he turned his head around, giving Jona and Vain JuggleJujitsu a few seconds to catch up. Rust was actually interested to see what the towering, cloaked figure could do. Did he hide some sort of devil fruit power in his body? Rust’s blood flowed with excitement, and there was so much to be excited about. Making his way up to the door, Rust unsheathed his blade, running his hand over its smooth surface. He had not yet tested out his blade after having it upgraded for the Grand Line. Before then, it was a rusted blade that would have crumbled from anything substantial, but he found quite the smith. The guy even managed to get the rusty look that was requested! Of course, Rust had not paid him much; just threatened him and tossed a few beli as tip after the job was done. Snapping the blade open and closed, Rust came to realized just how much smoother it was. All of this delight gave him shivers. Finally leaving it open, he pierced the wooden door with the open sides, pulling it straight off the hinging. A maniacal figure now stood in the doorway, laughing incessantly. Calming down again, Rust scanned the room, making out a table with a bunch of fishmen playing cards. The ones who were probably supposed to be guarding the front. “You bastard!”, one called out, throwing his cards down on the table and lunging from his seat towards Rust. Snapping his scissor-blade closed, Rust slammed the remains of the door down on the fishman charging him and pulled the blade out. The others seemed to remain silent after that scary display. Stepping down on the door hard, Rust exclaimed, “Nice, Royal Flush! You got some real luck here, eh?!” Making his reveal, he decided to pedal backwards slowly out the doorway and into the rain that was now pouring down. His figure became skewed, as he pulled out to the side, to make way for the others to rush in as well. Screaming in false bravery, the other fishmen began to rush towards the open doorway. Jona followed along in awe of the Golden Paladin's manliness. Unfortunately, this awe had begun to wane as the man talked about unscrupulous means of combat. What honor was there in firing guns or explosives to take out your foes? That wasn't true battle. Vain JelloJehova took to the shadows as the trio made their way towards the fishman base. Once more the tall fella showed a timid nature that was off-putting to Jona's manly standards. The Red Rust guy though? He was someone Jona could appreciate. If only he didn't wear any pansy armors and let his true manly muscles do all the tanking for him, then he'd be a true hero in Jona's eyes. The Rusty one went forward and opened the door in a manly fashion. Jona grinned, his teeth stretching ear to ear, and a wild look flashed in his eyes. Just as Red Rust stepped aside into the rain, a flash of flesh and muscle burst past him into the room. Jona screamed a battlecry that sounded like a cross between an elephant's trumpet and a bear's growl. The sound of flesh meeting flesh echoed and a cloud of dust and debris surfaced. Jona's tackle had landed square on one of the fishmen, and the momentum firmly planted said fishman in the drywall behind the card table. Cricking his neck, Jona stood and looked down upon his handiwork with a devil smile. Turning around, he noticed there were only two more 'guards' left in the first room. Perhaps, Jona thought, Vain JoypopsJumble would like a turn. So he didn't charge them. Instead he opted to crick his neck side to side, his joints popping like champagne corks. "Who's next?" |

OOC: mb again Pshew!...Pshew!.....Pshew! Before Jona and Red Rust knew it bullets were flying past them at an oncoming hoard of fishmen intending to flank them from behind. The sword and trident wielding foes quickly fell to the ground. The commotion was made worse by the upheaval which ensued. Red Rust and Jona's outburst would undoubtedly cause the larger rooms below to be alerted. The number of fishmen inside this smaller looking building was deceptive. The underground bunker would hold a great deal more. From the shadows was the impending figure with a hand held out in the shadows. He held his weapon and attempted to look through a broken window- the result of the brawl which ensued from previously. The shots fired continually in a rhythmic way. The fishmen were taken out but they seemed to grow smarter. As they approached from the hall they seemed to be wielding something synonymous to iron shields. The tower shields were held in front of them as trident and spear wielding ones charged forward. Vain clicked his teeth in annoyance. He held his gun upwards and waited for the other two to create any openings. The weapon wielding foes would surely provide a greater challenge for Vain and the others. The cloaked man slowly moved forward towards the building. Wishing to be cautious but realizing his angle was compromised - Vain began rushing towards a 4 meter far bush angled 45 degrees diagonally from the window. In order to gain a better vantage point he stood up a bit more and held out his makeshift sniper hand. He poised himself perfectly and waited the onslaught of men. He hoped that these two liabilities would at least be able to disrupt their formation. If successful, Vain would cover their flanking areas. Wherever they would find themselves in a moment of vulnerability - a shot would be fired in order to deal with the enemy. Vain himself was the support for these two. Though perhaps unwanted he would fire and 'steal their kill' if they were taking too long or if they were in danger of an exposed blind spot. In addition, Vain kept his eyes peeled for any users of the deadly fishmen karate or worse opponent snipers / marksmen. The result of a 10,000 tile punch or the flurry of bullets would make it difficult for the single shots of Vain to cover these men. Preferring not to complicate his payment with deaths he would work cooperatively to try and ground these men as best he could. The moment he saw an unarmed fishmen or one with any sort of ranged weapon he would be partial towards firing at them. If they got cornered here with a Gatling type again this could be very very bad. The strategist Vain was constantly thinking of their battle plan. |

Rust finally got his glimpse at what hid underneath Vain JuggleJujube’s cloak. It was just so… lame! He shot guns from the back? Someone as big as him could easily slam these guys to the next island! Groaning, Rust stumbled back inside in disappointment, barely making his way towards the charging fishmen with shields. The best part of bounty hunting was reveling in the blood of enemies! As he thought that, Rust gave himself a nonchalant wind-up spin that appeared more like a stumble before knocking his giant blade into a good amount of their weapons. The fishmen had little time to react to the move because of the length of the weapon. Rust went around yet again, and with the extra velocity, he slammed his blade into the side of one of their shields, knocking one down. The majority of them came tumbling down on top of each other as well in a domino effect. A giant dent could be seen in the shield furthest to the left; the one that was hit by Rust. With little follow-up time, Rust yelled, “Have a taste of despair, fools!”, before making another spin and angling his blade to cut into the flesh of a line of the fishmen. Blood sprayed onto Rust’s face, clothes, armor, and blade. He was feeling alive again! These fools stood not a chance against Rust and Jona! Oh, and Vain of course. Walking over to one of the now frightened fishmen, a shot came out of the blue, stealing his prey away from him. Giving a heavy sigh, Rust looked to his side and called out to Vain, “Hey, JugularJujube! You know, it’s good to instill some fear, right? Don’t ya think it’s scarier if I make a few of them into examples ‘stead you just shooting them and disposing of ‘em just like that? We’re gonna kill them anyways.” Rust gave Jona a short glance. It was incredibly clear Rust was quite disappointed in how the cloaked figure turned out to be. |

Vain JaredJigglypuff was a gunslinger? Jona was confused. Jona hit himself in his own confusion. After slapping his own cheeks to make certain he was seeing things right, Jona realized that it would be difficult to expect three midgets in a trench coat to be coordinated enough to fight hand-to-hand. Poor Rust seemed to be as disappointed as Jona was. A line of shield-wielding fishmen turned the corner into the hallway. Jona noted, now, that their shields looked more like scrap iron, an amalgamation of tin roofing and ship hulling. It was a smart move to deal with the cowardly gunfire. It was a shame that it wasn't a smart move for dealing with Red Rust and Jona. Rust lead the charge and Jona followed behind. When Rust made contact on one of the shields, Jona leapt over the shield line entirely. Immediately a trident was thrust towards his neck. Jona managed to turn his body in air as he threw an arm forward, letting it get pierced. It was a cowardly sneak attack from what Jona could only describe as a pink goo man. The fishman in front of Jona had tiny tendrils all over his partially transparent body... A word flashed through Jona's simple mind: Jellyfish. "I wonder what you taste like on Toast!" Jona screamed as he forcefully pulled the end of the trident from the fat of his forearm. This pulling caused the Jellyfish to stumble forward a bit. "Die, human!" Said the Jellyfishman as his tendril-like appendages pulled a second trident from somewhere. As Jona's fight with the Jellyfishman began, two more fishmen turned the corner, each looking like mean motherfuckers. One, a hammerhead shark fishman, was stacked with muscles on his muscles. He was so tough he even had muscles on his eyeballs! The second fishman to turn the corner had what could only be described as a crossbow. He was a short fella, but his skin was super smooth and he had no nose, only two slits. His body almost looked slimy and, at a close glance, one could see faint sparks shooting off of him to the ground. He was an electric eel fishman, and he immediately started firing electrified crossbow shots at Vain JibberishJubjub! OOC: You both take full control of your opponents, I just wanted to throw more personalized enemies into the mookstorm to make things a bit more fun Edited by KileyBarker, Oct 24 2017, 05:53 AM.

Pshew!...Pshew! The sound of flying electrified arrows filled the area. Vain took cover from the onslaught of shots fired at him. His strangely colored eyes narrowed to find some form of reflection. Vain was crouched behind a large wall on the side of a building. His large figure had some flaws in it - the obvious one being his clearly larger exposed targets. The larger man took cover as the bullets were fired one by one. He braced himself as he felt the bullets begin to fire rapidly. Who could have thought these fishmen would have such a skilled marksmen on their side? This is quite annoying Vain thought to himself. He grumbled under his breath. He began mentally counting the rounds that were fired against him. Each shot began to chip away at the defensive wall that was provided for him. Suddenly, the shots stopped. Turning clockwise the man jutted out with a circular hole in his arm. In that moment his heart stopped. He paused for a moment, seeing a larger canon weapon. It was a makeshift canon with electrified parts. It looked odd but it seemed to run on the fishmen's electricity. Vain eye'd the contraption as the fishmen began to electrify the canon. Vain could hear the spinning parts and gadgets begin to fall into place. Clearly, an explosive canon ball like round was coming. "Shit!" His eyes widened. He pushed off of his right foot and leapt back onto the side of another building. BOOM! The side of the building erupted into shattered brick projectiles. Vain managed to escape the blast but was further from his objective. He gritted his teeth from under his mask. This bastard was clever. Not only did he have means to continually fire cross bow bullets but also had access to a canon in the delayed time he had to reload. Vain realized he 'd have to get creative. He looked over and saw something sparking. He waited a moment and began to formulate a plan. Just then he'd thought of something. It was time to execute his plan! (ooc: drawing this fight out a bit b/c it seems fun) |

While Vain and Jona had their own fights, Rust was about to have his own with the hammerhead shark fishman. A musclebound guy, obviously. These guys were usually predictable and brought little to the table than brute strength and their sheer force of will. Rust smiled, as he was about to test just how sheer this guy’s force of will was. The fishman charged at Rust in a peculiar way. He intended to use his own head quite literally; as a hammer. It was quite a ridiculous display and Rust could not help but laugh, but that time was ill spent. Rust’s habit of underestimating the power of those obviously far beneath him kicked in and he expected to just raise his scissor-blade at the last second and block the attack. That he did, but it helped little with the impact dealt to him. He found the side of his own blade smacking into himself and was sent sliding back a few feet. Fortunately, Rust had to have incredible balance to even wield his blade on one arm and the fishman was unable to knock him over. Still, Rust realized that power was nothing to be played with. No matter how dumb and predictable this guy was, he was not going to just be pushed over. The hammerhead let out a loud warcry, filling surrounding fishmen with inspiration. So the plan was to gang up on Rust now. A flurry of shields, tridents, and swords surrounded him, but it mattered not. Giggling, Rust looked way in the back of book of tricks and taunted the hammerhead fishman, “Hey, ugly! I bet you gave your mother hemorrhaging with that fat fuckin’ head of yours!” Turning the side with red cloth draping down from his arm towards the fishman, Rust flaunted the cloth and gave a sinister grin. The ground shook beneath him as the stomps roared closer and closer. At the last second, Rust would make a swift dodge to the side, immediately spinning and taking out any of the extra fishmen behind him with a large swipe of his scissor-blade. Loud clattering noises and the sound of flesh hitting the walls and ground echoed throughout the room as the fishman dozed right into his fellow fishman. On the opposite wall, a poor fishman was flung so hard that there was a clear hole in the wall where he exited the room. It was quite a hilariou sight for Rust, who could not believe the guy was this stupid. He was practically falling to his knees in laughter, but of course, the fight was not over. A few cautious, leftover fishmen and the hammerhead remained for Rust to cut down. |
