Marshall tried desperately to focus his vision, but things seemed to just get blurrier and blurrier. He wondered if this is what people who had to wear glasses felt like without them, in which case Marshall wasn't surprised they weren't all bitter, angry people. Then again, he was pretty sure having bad eyesight didn't also give you a throbbing headache or a sense of queasiness, so maybe his situation was just unique.

Where was he? Oh right: trying to fight for his life. Marshall was thankfully a good enough fighter (or at least had practiced enough) that he was able to make many of his defensive maneuvers based on pure instinct. He could also still see the general shape of the "ninja," so it's not like blocking the incoming attacks was impossible. That being said, it was really fucking difficult, and it wasn't long until strikes were getting past his defense and slashing him across the arms or torso. For whatever reason, the ninja didn't seem to be going for stabs (or at last Marshall somehow managed to deflect every single one), which was a good thing: he could handle superficial cuts. A punctured lung or heart? Not so much.

The bat man couldn't keep this up forever, of course. So after parrying one of the fake ninja's attacks, Marshall suddenly kicked up his foot, aiming for the man's family jewels. Unfortunately the ninja was much to quick for him in this state, and thus was able to reflexively jump back a bit and dodge the kick. But that's actually what Marshall wanted all along; you see, Marshall wasn't one for such dirty tricks, and thus didn't really want to kick the dude in the nads. The truth was that even though his vision was shit, he could tell that the Future Ninja of America was leaning in during his attacks. And when he jumped back a bit, that put his head in an excellent position for Marshall. His bat already raised into the air, the young batter swung down with all his strength, slamming the seaking bone down on his opponent's skull. The ninja buckled to the ground, and Marshall went in for the finishing blow.

...Or at least he would have if he wasn't, you know, as blind as a bat right now (no pun intended). Unbeknownst to him, Speed-o'-Sound Sonic over here had been backing him up towards the edge of the roof during his recent onslaught. When Marshall tried to take a step back to position himself correctly, he found himself stepping on thin air, and since he currently had no sense of balance, the poor guy tumbled backwards and off the roof. He landed with a painful thud on the side opposite of where he first climbed up the building, and his headache started to hurt even more.

Alexis was lying down on the ground from this mans attack as he started to walk around her room, but luckily enough she knew about this place better than anyone else. Able to attack from any angle and one type of weapon Alexis is best at, but never carries as there were too many of them, as he got closer, she has thrown her scythe right towards him, but it was no problem for him to catch it holding it smiling like this battle was over. "That was stupid you must be truly panicking!" He had thrown it into the hot spring water, letting down his guard, but for that brief moment, Alexis move cutting his body in two, his eye's opened in shock seeing another scythe but had a white color to it. "How.." But in another moment, another one when right in the middle of his face. "My room has several scythes that I was testing, but never thought I would use them here of all places for battles like this."

This wasn't the trick Alexis wished to develop, it was just luck, no normal human would be able to live from this much damage, as he fell and Alexis rested her back onto the wall. "It's over." She said being tired, but in a moment she was kicked in her torso being forced up onto the top of the deck again, as he climbed up, his cuts healing being like black glue. "Nice try." She breathed heavy, as she was unable to get up this time, with a single scythe beside her. "BUT THIS IS WHERE IT ENDS!" He kicked Alexis right towards the sea, looking away thinking it to be over many splashes from the wood which he thought to be her, but in that second before falling Alexis grabbed her scythe placed wires around it, digging it into the ship while using her devil fruit so he couldn't see, but he knew looking at the slash mark. "..." He smiled, thinking it would be less fun to end someone who stayed alive from so many things, walking off the ship, Alexis was hurt, looking at the ship landing on the bottom deck, hurt just falling unable to get up.

The bladesmith hadn't even really heard what the woman said before. Her mind was entirely focused on crushing her without question and in order to do that she'd have to break down this guard of hers. Her extra swords may have been scattered all about the convenience store but she still had her greatest partner in hand. She could feel the two of them slowly chipping away at the enemy's defenses but it wasn't good enough. The only thing this disgusting woman would understand was total defeat. "Let's go harder, End!" She growled while suddenly changing the pace of her swings. It wasn't much, but just enough to throw off the woman for a moment. Nyx would quickly drop her body to the floor, her foot kicking up one of her extra blades at the same time as she got into a handstand motion and pivoted on a free hand. End along with her extra blade quickly snapped into place on Nyx's boots as she continued to spin.

"Still not enough!" Popping up in a hand spring now Nyx launched herself into the air with a violent rotation and came down at once with one leg followed by another. The first blade slammed into the woman's sword and upon impact shattered to pieces however this was still enough to finally break her guard. With end coming down in her second leg drop it managed to effortlessly cut across her chest, spilling blood on the floor and finally giving the bladesmith a clean hit. She landed back on her feet a bit awkwardly due to having one of the blades on her boot broken. She also felt a strong stinging pain in her right side. Looking down she could see a shallow sword wound bleeding through her coat. Damn, that woman must have gotten her at the last moment.

"Feisty one aren't you? Let's see how long you can keep it up against 'Vesper the Blade Breaker." The woman licked a bit of blood off of her hand.

"Calm down Nyx, she's just trying to get you riled up. Her words are making you act recklessly."

"I Know that, but I can't help it dammit!" Nyx responded while discarding of her broken blade and grabbing End into one of her hands.

"Child, unsheathe me this moment!" An unfamiliar voice came from her side, looking down she remembered the fact that she still had Seigi with her. The strange red and white blade had been quiet ever since leaving Loguetown and finding out that she was a pirate. Pulling him out now she held the new weapon in her free hand.

"Ah, so now you want to help us out? What happened to the cold shoulder you were giving me?"

"While i find you to be crass and uncouth. I can tell that you have a rather soft heart for a warrior." Nyx frowned up at the sound of this but remained silent as Seigi continued. "However the woman before us is nothing more than a disgusting villain and my fangs crave the feel of tearing apart her flesh. With me in your hands, vengeance will be yours and punishment will be dealt. Nothing more and nothing less."

"I'm not sure what's up with you over there talking to yourself but if you won't come to me then I'll come to you!" The momentary pause in the battle was ended as Vesper crossed the room. Her blade dragged through the tile of the floor and tore it apart along the way before she quickly brought it upward, bring the blade itself along with debris violently flying upward.

"We'll keep talking later, for now welcome to the team!" Nyx responded quickly before reversing the grip on her second weapon, allowing its jagged side to be facing outward. She wasn't quite ready to avoid this blow but knew she could at least get out of this relatively unscathed. Bringing down both of her weapons now the blade dancer deflected the blow at the last moment while spinning around to the backside of the pirate before her. The bits of tile and that come up managed to pepper her upper body but the harm itself wasn't too serious. Two separate swing attempts were made at her back but both of them were blocked rather easily. Even with two blades against one Nyx found herself struggling to get in. With more and more of her attacks being blocked she decided to go for a slightly riskier play.

Nyx jumped backwards to create a slight gap and just as quick as she created that space she closed it again in a rather strange fashion. Her body rotated quickly almost like a wheel and traveled across the floor in a path directly for Vesper. "Well that's one way to fight I suppose." Nyx could tell that such a straightforward attack like this wouldn't really get her anywhere. A smile crossed her face as the spinning sword wheel changed it's course at the last moment, suddenly rolling up the side of the wall followed by the ceiling and suddenly dropping down on top of her with both swords. It wasn't a full fledged wound but she once again managed to find a way to land a light blow against her opponent. Still, having to constantly pull out all the stops like this was exhausting and it seemed like Vesper was still just playing around.

"Seems like childish tricks like those are your forte huh?" The woman paused for a moment, listening to the sounds coming from outside growing more wild and violent. "Sounds like I don't have much time left sadly, so as appreciation for showing me a good time I'll give you a taste of what I have to offer as Yano's first student!" Bringing sword high up abover her head she brought it back down almost like a hammer and slammed it into the ground. The force of which was enough to shatter the floor and send things flying everywhere including Nyx herself. "It's about time you learned why they call me the Blade Breaker."

It was, by all accounts, not a very good day for the swordsman. He had lost his ship, and was in the process of getting the shit beat out of him. Yet, not only had he managed to find some nice people to travel with, he had also managed to stab the pyromaniac who burned his ship earlier that day. He'd been trying to avoid being hit directly ever since, knowing that he wouldn't be able to take much more punishment.

Jack stopped for a moment to catch his breath. He contemplated the possibilities, and realized there was no way he would want to run away anyway. Not from this guy. There was only one way this could go. He faced his opponent, both swords unsheathed, and decided that it was time to risk everything for the moment of truth.

"So you've finally decided to face your fate, huh? kinda disappointing, I enjoyed the fight so far..."

"You're definitely going to enjoy this more."

The swordsman ran forward as fast as he could, while his opponent confidently stood his ground, ready for whatever he would throw at him. Jack didn't attack exactly as one would expect though, he jumped into a front flip right at the moment he was expected to swing his swords. To Jagger's astonishment, Jack's swords were wrapped around his neck like a pair of scissors.

"Two Sword Style: Mantis Slayer!"

In the brief moment where the two swords would have closed around Jagger's neck, the latter's reflexes kicked in, and he crouched slightly while placing his hand in the way of the attack. This was clearly not the best he could do, but Jack had a feeling that stab wound across his torso wasn't helping him do any better.

When Jack landed, he could see that Jagger's arm was limp beside him from taking the attack, but he only got to enjoy his small victory briefly, before the area around him exploded from everywhere he could see.

"You didn't really think I was just standing there waiting for you attack for no reason, did you?" said Jagger as he walked away from his fallen foe.

Marshall laid there on the ground in pain, his head throbbing so hard that it was hard to think. Guessing his opponent was still on the roof, he raised his bat in front of him in a defensive position, making sure to block his face while he was at it. Might not be the best of ideas normally, but he was kind of still blind at the moment: it's not like keeping his line of sight clear would help him that much right now.

Looks like he made the right decision too; not long after adopting his stance, he felt a rain of throwing stars sink into body, while a couple hit his bat instead of his head. Marshall let out a cry of pain and and his strength completely left him, and his arms collapsed, his bat falling to his side. The pirate could see a blurry blob standing up on the roof above him, figuring things couldn't possibly get any worse. After all, the fake ninja was probably out of throwing stars or something, right?

It got worse: the blob came crashing down with a thud onto Marshall's torso. He bat man coughed up a blood projectile that sprayed all over his shirt and Naruto's pant legs, and his head snapped back to the ground. His vision went dark, and he while he tried to hope that he was simply falling unconscious, he knew it was likely a lot worse. He felt the weight come off of his body, and he heard the footsteps as his opponent walked away, leaving Marshall there to die.

...No. He couldn't die here. Not as soon as he got to the Grand Line. Not after promising himself he would get stronger and not have to rely on his captain any longer. Marshall started to come to, and he pushed himself to the brink as he started to slowly get up off the ground. As he did so, he even noticed that his vision was starting to improve, already better than it was after he fell off the roof. Perhaps this was people meant when they said some people pushed past their limits based on sheer willpower alone?

(Actually, the toxin from earlier was just starting to wear off, probably faster than usual because Marshall just coughed up a lot of contaminated blood. But he's not exactly smart enough to realize that.)

The ninja-cosplayer stopped and turned around, noticing his opponent was still alive, and began to walk back, taking out his daggers as he did so. Marshall meanwhile picked up his bat again, and adopted an aggressive stance. He was probably going to end up dying anyways, even if he tried to run, so he might as well go down without a fight. His enemy started slashing towards Marshall, but the slugger instinctively parried his blows, after which he took a big, downwards and diagonal swing towards the guy's torso. The wannabee ninja was quick, though, and managed to fling his chest back and just barely dodge the bo-

RIIIIIIIIIIIIP
Huh.... that was.... I'm sorry, what? The fighters stopped for a moment, and while his vision was still somewhat blurry, Marshall could have sworn he saw ripped fabric. He turned his gaze towards his bat, and now that he paid attention, he could make out what seemed like a small metal disc embedded into the seaking bone. Wait, could that have been one of the ninja stars from earlier? Turning back towards his opponent, Marshall confirmed that what he had seen was indeed ripped fabric. It turns out that while the make-believe ninja had dodged the bat itself, the star had actually caught a hold of their outfit, successfully ripping through the top piece from the collar all the way down.

But in the end, it was still just clothing, not flesh. So why did the man suddenly stop as well? Sure, the sudden ripping noise might have caught him off guard, but he should have quickly.... Wait a second. Were those..... no, they couldn't be; Marshall was just confusing himself because his vision was still blurry. But his eyesight was starting to rapidly get better, and after blinking a few times, it was clear that he wasn't imagining things.

The young man started to blush a bit. He looked up at his foe, and their cheeks were bright red as well. They made eye contact, and the man(?) suddenly leaped back, wrapping their arms around their chest to conceal it as they did so. "Y-y-y-y-y-y-you," they started to stutter, their voice much higher pitched than before. "Wh-wh-what is your n-n-n-n-name?" "Marshall Stroud," the pirate said without hesitation, still shell shocked by this whole turn of events. "M-m-m-m-mark my w-w-words, M-Marshall S-S-Stroud: y-you will r-r-r-r-r-rue the day you c-c-c-crossed paths with m-m-m-m-me."

With that, the ninja turned and fled faster than Marshall could say, "S-Sorry!" And yes, you read that right: just "ninja," without any adjectives or modifiers attached. After all, she truly was a master of stealth and disguise.

Alexis stayed on the ground being tired, her red eye's looking up towards the deck, thinking that's the second time she lost overwhelmingly, a pirate she knew nothing about, then her father, who she didn't know a single thing about, what was next? She didn't say a word because nobody was here, picking herself up, even moving slowly, as someone else was here, yelling like he lost his mind. "WHERE ARE YOU!" It was that mook who lost his mind before somehow, still not understanding how that man did so, running at Alexis right away, as she got up on top of the deck, but Alexis's red eye's turned sharper, which would most of the time make someone think twice, but he lost his mind, running with no problem, no idea, just madness not knowing he was outmatched. "DIE!." But he was hit with a lot of force with the back of her scythe making a splash hitting the sea. Still not speaking, resting her back onto the mast, ready to stand up to find her crew fighting the pain, still being hurt, she would try to hide it, but many could tell from Sylvia's slow movement.

The members who beat us already started to meet up gathering together, having fun with their battle, even the crew was fine with leaving here as he spoke. "We're leaving." Not asking, or anything else, he didn't wish to be here anymore ready to move forward, when all of his crew would gather following him not disagreeing at all with their captain, ready to leave onto his ship towards unknown places, for some odd reason the town people started to calm down passing out towards the floor, as he made it more away from them, was this a part of his devil fruit? Or something else, we will not know unless meeting them again, Alexis would use her scythe to keep up most of the time, but could only stand when not moving, her vision not 100%.

It was quite the miracle that the building was still standing after that last attack. The swordsman stood up on shaky feet and looked around the room. It seemed that there was much more space to fight now, although the floor was more or less shattered and splayed apart. There was not just power in that last attack, there was a lot of skill and nuance to her ability as well. A pure brute would have likely destroyed everything in the area, but she was doing all of this simply to show the difference in their skill. Nyx spit out a bit of blood to the side. "You'll have to a lot more than that to impress me." The woman was lying through her teeth, but she couldn't let it show. Besides even if she couldn't win the secondary goal was to try and steal back master Yano's sword. "Are the two of you ready to go?"

"Surely."

"I'm always ready, but how about yourself, Nyx. You seem to be at your limit..."

"Now worries End. We've been together long enough for you to know I always find a way out. Let's just-" Before she could even finish there was a sword in her face. Vesper was attacking and Nyx had just barely managed to lift up both of her handy swords in order to block it. Even though she had blocked the attack though her feet were being pushed back as Vesper continued to run and charge ahead. No matter how much she attempted to plant her feet however it wasn't working. The only thing that stopped them was her back finally slamming into the wall and causing the building to shake violently.

"Still talking to your swords huh? That nonsense about hearing the "soul" of a blade or whatever. Whatever works for you I guess. Just try not to get lost talking to yourself. You're gonna wan't to focus in order to keep up with this one!" Without missing a beat Vesper's blade blurred into countless number of swords. Well, that wasn't exactly right, but with the speed and number of swings that were coming her way it certainly seemed that way to the blade smith. She did her best in order to to just block them and not get hit. Even with her own speed and reflexes however there were still some attack that managed to get through.

This countless assault seemed to go on for a while. Nyx continued to just stay on guard, but her defenses were slowly but surely falling apart. "Come on child, what are you doing?! Fight back now or you'll surely die. You can't just be defensive all day."

As annoying as Seigi was half the time, he was right about this one. Let's see how well this disgusting woman could up with the three of them. She managed to block a couple more swings before getting a swing of her own in there that clashed with one of the attacks. With a few a more moments she was able to get more and more swings in between attacks and within a few more moment the two women were going head to head as steel clashed and sparks flew across the room in a wild fashion.

"That's more like it. Keep it going, keep showing me more!" She spoke while picking up the pace even further. Nyx didn't even think she could go faster, but it wouldn't be the first time she'd been proven wrong. If not for the fact that there was a wall behind her she would have lost her footing forever ago. Still, even with using both of her hands and two swords she was only barely managing to keep up to speed.

"If I can't keep up with you at my current speed then I'll just start going even faster then. If I can't even deal with some old chick like you then what good are my skills." The blade smith was swinging even faster now, albeit more wildly and a lot less technical and graceful than before. More small cuts were beginning to appear across her body but there was a problem. A single sight that made her eyes go wide. There was a single flash of light that sent End flying across the room and clanging to the floor. Vesper stepped back now, finally ending her assault while Nyx instead fell the floor, gasping for breath.

"Guess you finally noticed. A little too later for that though. It's about time that I finished the job." Her eyes were focused on the sword that had been dropped. End was battered, its blade chipped to pieces and a large crack having formed across its center. "I wonder if you're able to hear your precious sword screaming out in pain or some nonsense like that. Don't worry too much about that though. It won't be screaming for long." The woman walked towards the fallen sword but found herself being weighed down by something.

Nyx was on the floor and holding on tightly to the pirate's legs. "No...." Vesper kicked at her and tried to shake the girl off her legs but it seemed like nothing would actually work. "I'd rather die than let you break him."

"I suppose that can be arranged" The woman smiled and picked up Seigi from the floor along with snatching Nyx from the floor. "Upsy daisy!" She lifted the blade dancer high up in the air and threw her on to the ground. Nyx was ready to try and spring back up again however but there was instantly white hot pain through her gut and she found herself pinned to the floor by her own blade.

"I'm sorry child..."

No matter how much the woman wanted to get up from this position she found herself wrecked with pain as the sword held her in place. As her blood pooled out from the fresh sword wounds however the only thing she could see was the sight of Vesper walking towards her prized possession and lifting her sword high up into the air.

It took Marshall awhile to shake off his feeling of embarrassment. I mean, normally he was pretty stoic about pretty much everything, but this was just... I mean he was a man! And to see such a thing was just immoral of him! I mean sure, they looked nice and all, and were much bigger than he would have-Ack, no!!! Don't think about it, Marshall! You couldn't go around day dreaming about this sort of stuff, especially not when Jack was potentially still fighting.

Marshall hurt way too much to go parkouring over the building again, so he decided to run around it. It hurt like a motherfucker due to all his injuries, but he pushed through it regardless; it wasn't even that bad once his eyesight fully came back to him along the way. But when he found his way back to where he and Jack first split off, the pirate was nowhere to be seen. Even the pyromaniac wasn't around. Could Jack have lost and got taken captive? No, the explosives guy didn't seem like the type; they probably reached a stalemate like Marshall and the ninja did, and Jack had already begun to head back to the ship.

So Marshall figured he might as well do the same. To be honest, he kind of felt silly for getting all worked up about Jack just now; hell, the guy finished first and didn't even come to help out Marshall. Then again, maybe his injuries were too bad and he was in no shape to keep fighting? Marshall wasn't sure, but he figured he could just ask him when he got-

Wait a second, what's was that in the distance? It looked like someone was impaled on a sword of some sort in the ground? And there was someone else standing nearby them, or were the shadows just playing tricks on him? Marshall focused on the injured person as he started to walk closer, and as soon as he saw who it was, his face turned pale white. "Nyx!!!" he cried out as he started to push himself into a sprint.

Move dammit. Just get up and move! That was the only thought that ran through her mind as she suffered and struggled underneath the sword that pinned her to the ground. What was worst was that it was her own sword stuck through her. She couldn't be angry with Seigi however, it was out of his control. If anything she was more pissed off with herself. She knew she was outclassed by the pirate standing above her, but was determined to stay and fight. She knew she could have just escaped and managed to live and fight another day, but she didn't. "Please. I'm begging you... don't hurt him. I'm begging you here. Please don't do it." Her voice pleaded with the pirate. Despite this however Vesper didn't stop.

It was do or die now, her enemy was poised and ready to strike the killing blow on her sword. Her hands clenched around the side of the blade, blood running from her palms now she forced herself and Seigi free from the floor. The fact that it had been so heavily damaged by the fight so far had likely helped her to get free but that was the last thought on her mind. The moment her feet were planted on solid ground again she was moving across the room and had crossed the distance gap. Even with a sword sticking out of her gut it was impressive how quickly she was moving. Her feet only stopped once she stood in front of her sword, ready to protect it with her own life and if not for Vesper stopping her attack she likely would have died. The opposing pirate's sword stopping just short of her chest.

"Wow, you'd really rather die before I went and broke your sharp piece of metal?" The woman laughed while genuinely impressed by what she was seeing.

"Well End is really the only thing I have left in this world. My greatest friend and my only family. So if I have to die for him then so be it. A swordsman who lives by the blade should never fear to die by the blade after all. I'm sure even human trash like yourself can understand that much." The blade dancer spoke with staggered breath, barely able to remain on her feet. Even with her hazy vision she could make out the sight of Marshall in the distance and calling her name. Perhaps she was just hallucinating from blood loss and was just seeing things though.

"I do understand that much. Exactly why I have to do this." The woman lifted her sword up again and brought it back down the blade stopping short of hitting Nyx like before but this time was different. There was a slight hum in the air followed by a blast of pressure that passed through her body and into the floor below her. The blade smith felt blood violently escape from her mouth before falling to her knees. What the hell did she just get hit with? It was like the sword had attacked her without even doing anything.

"My work here is done. It was fun while it lasted though. Be sure to live long enough to entertain me again in the future my little kohai."

Her work was done? What could that mean. Her eyes glanced downward now to the floor and sure enough End was lying there, his blade shattered into fragments on the floor and the handle being pretty much the only part entirely in tact. A large amount of thought and emotions pass through her mind, perhaps too many for her exhausted body and mind to comprehend. There was the unmistakable feeling of loss however as she clutched the bits of her sword that she could before falling to the floor entirely unconscious.

As Vesper walked out of the room she stepped past Marshall. "Be sure to take of her for me while I'm gone will ya? None of her wounds should fatal...I think." And with that said she was gone.

Alexis would be walking back, but her body was in a lot of pain because of that man, still not fully knowing his ability, it could turn a whole town crazy, making parts of their brain stop working, Alexis rested her back onto the wall taking a break, looking up, finding herself to be useless right now, unable to protect her crew. "I.." Alexis was close to blacking out but stood up breathing heavy, continuing to go on, and find the whereabouts of her crew. Alexis started to walk her scythe hitting the floor as she didn't stop, wishing to find them sooner, rather than later.

Alexis felt much pain, lying back down, "I can't..give up.........." Alexis' eyes became tight, becoming fully closed, blacking out, still on that wall, even letting go of her scythe as it hit the floor, many of the townspeople started to regain, their mind like it was all a dream to them, each one speaking over the other. "What happened?" They looked and seen parts of their town destroyed, thinking it was terrible. "Who did this?" Many of them even gather around Alexis seeing she was hurt, and unconscious. "Who is this woman?" Many comments being said, one after the other. "I don't know, but she looks hurt." It was more, "What is that it's a scythe why would she be carrying around something so unique?"

Who was this person? Was she just a passerby who found Nyx but wasn't going to do anything? Or was she the one that hurt her this way? The latter would make sense if she was the "honorable" type and didn't like killing (just like himself), but if she was an enemy then shouldn't Marshall try to stop her from just leaving like that?

No, focus Marshall: you were beat up and couldn't just waltz into another fight like this. Besides, it seemed like Nyx desperately needed your help. Marshall nodded to the woman and then bee-lined straight towards Nyx, who was indeed impaled into the ground. His crewmate also seemed unconscious currently, which was probably for the best considering what was about to happen. After all, it's not exactly like he could leave her pinned like that, and taking the sword out was the only solution.

But before Marshall pulled it out, he began to take off his tie and tore off two large pieces of his coat (which was already torn up a bit by that ninja's knives) as he kneeled down beside Nyx. You see, Marshall might not be a doctor in any sort of capacity, yet he new the basics of dressing up wounds. And as luck would have it, stomach wounds had unfortunately become some sort of specialty for him. So as soon as he yanked the sword out of the ground, he immediately pressed the jacket pieces against the wounds on both sides. He then proceeded to wrap his tie around Nyx's body and fasten the pieces in place. It was only a temporarily fix, but it would have to do for now.

Next, Marshall took her sword container (or whatever you call it) off her back and proceeded to put the sword that impaled her inside it. It looked kind of familiar, after all, and even if it wasn't her's, perhaps the smith would want it anyways as a memento or some shit. Marshall also noticed there was a sword broken into multiple pieces lying on the ground, so he picked up the hilt and the large metal shards and put them into the container as well. He assumed at least this one was her's, and since he didn't know exactly how the whole "sword" making process worked, he figured he might as well give her as much as she could to work with.

With that all done, Marshall slung the container over his shoulder and proceeded, looked around to make sure they weren't in immediate danger, and then picked Nyx up. He proceeded to continue heading back to the ship, though with a quicker skip to his step, as he carried the swordmaster in his arms. The way he held her was much like a groom would hold a bride while carrying her back to their honeymoon sweet, and the strong sense of familiarity of the situation was not lost on him. Marshall silently prayed that this wouldn't become some sort or cruel, running gag like his constant stomach injuries.

Alexis was knocked out on the floor, but as people gathered she opened both eyes still hurt wondering was everyone okay, did they get knocked out or killed, Alexis didn't know how long she was knocked out for, so she didn't know where everyone was, the best bet was going back towards the ship. Alexis stood up, but struggling to do so, finding it hard with standing up straight, as she looked left to right, seeing the people gathered, many of them try to stop her, but Alexis just, walk right past them heading right back towards the ship, using her scythe to keep herself up, as she seen Marshall, walking over towards him hurt, looking like she was at her limit. "Where leaving, bring Nyx on the ship, where setting out, the ship is needed for repairs, I would like to stay here, but giving we are pirates they could blame us for this damage, giving they can't remember anything." Alexis said as she when on, giving out the order towards the mooks to set out, once again they could gain the blame for this.

Looks like Marshall and Nyx weren't the only ones who ran into trouble; even Alexis was pretty beaten up, which was never a good sign. His captain gave orders to get Nyx onto the ship and then cast off, to which Marshall had no objections.

After dropping Nyx off in her room, Marshall helped get the anchor raised and the ship sailing. As he did this, he slowly realized that, contrary to what he assumed, it didn't seem like Jack was with them. He considered asking Alexis about it, but he decided against it; just because he was invited to join didn't mean they had an obligation to actually leave with him. Not to mention Marshall never had a reason to trust the guy; hell, he took a couple of throwing stars for him and for all he knew, Jack could have been working with that ninja chick and the pyro and was leading him into an ambush.

Well whatever. That was the past and this was the present; it was time to move on. After they well on their way, Marshall went back to check on Nyx, who was still passed out, and applied some proper bandages to her wound. He, uhh, also took off some of her dirty and bloody clothing as he did so, so hopefully she wouldn't be too pissed when she woke up. Maybe she'd just assume it was Alexis; she was down with the whole naked thing after all.

When Marshall didn't have anything else left to do, he proceeded to strip down and bandage up his own wounds. He then fell down onto his bed and stared up at the ceiling, reliving the day through his head. It seems like his fears had come true: they had made it into the Grand Line, and as strong as they seemed to be in the Blues, Paradise was a whole other animal. He had to get stronger if he wanted to survive, if he wanted to make sure his crew survived.

As he lost the strength to keep his eyes open and his consciousness began to fade away, Marshall thought of one last thing from the day: why did he suddenly jump behind Jack when he didn't even know about the ninja and her attack? It's almost like... he saw it coming.

And boom: he was asleep.

Alexis asked Marshall to set up for the crew leaving, and the mooks as she helped them as well, Jack wasn't here true, but he could be in his room without them knowing, it was all up to him. [And if he came back to the site.] Alexis looked at Marshall, and blushed as he took Nyx's clothes off, blinking, just walking away, they must be getting closer, she did see them two getting together, maybe at one point in this crews time, Alexis hasn't been seen naked by anyone on this ship, so it was no reason Marshall should think that. Alexis when into her own room, placing her own bandages onto her own body being onto her very own bed, and could see the hole making it easy to see or enter the bath, she lay down onto her own bed falling asleep, so far Alexis was losing each fight, the grand line was no joke, she had to get stronger, and fast.
