Nola heard the order, and even though she was injured rather badly she simply nodded before looking at the medical team "Get them to the HQ and tend to them,. then send a half team to the main battle as medical support, the rest will need to prepare for the wounded at the HQ so we can have Triage ready to go with any critically injured" she said as she finished getting patched up, she then got up and headed out with Anna and Seth, she figured she wouldn't be much of an asset in battle but in the end every person helped medically, and that's really all she was good for, she had her hidden bio modifications sure, but they were not really things she considered battle ready.

As they made their way down though she figured she would have to engage in some battle, and consider using them more as weapons then as what she had been using them as, or rather what she had been considering them to be, tools, This would be the best time to see if some Ideas she had would work in a combat scenario and at the very least there were others around to support her, Worst case the enemy assumes she has a devil fruit and attempts to toss her into the water, or even worse, they single her out as dangerous for the fact she may have one.

As they got to the battle field she looked around then to Anna "While I understand asking the captain for orders or to give the word, I believe the man that is in charge of him told us to reinforce immediately, so I think we should help were we can, as for me I am going to look for wounded and help them to the back lines, I am not really fit for a combat roll..." she said as she looked to Dryden and nodded to him, hopefully he understood that she was going to make herself as useful as she could be given the situation and her own assumption at being a bad fit for a combat role, not to mention she was already injured though that only slightly handicapped her.

Seth was on his way to the Commodore when his Den-Den Mushi once again rang through crisp and clear. Listening closely, he nodded and signaled those following him towards the docks. His face tightened in anger - this was quickly falling apart into an all out war, and they desperately needed to regain control.

As Seth's party reached the docks, he examined the situation. It was no wonder their defenses had been pushed back. Two ships sat in the water, cannons aimed at the gates. Not to mention, there were 50 or so pirates raiding the docks currently.

Seth quickly deduced the best course of action, given his opponent's level of skill. Dashing forward, the Lieutenant Commander drew up short as one of the larger cannons blasted straight at him. Leaping into the air, the marine caught the cannon ball within the crook of his foot, and sent it flying at the docks, nearly twice as fast as it had been shot at him. The spot he had hit erupted in splintered wood and water which turned to a moment of rain.

Landing smoothly, Seth returned to the mission at hand. Leaping straight into the middle of the fight, several pirates attempted him from all sides. None lived. Seth was smiling widely as he took out weakling after weakling, and though it didn't immediately make a difference, at this rate they would eventually push these pirates out.

"Did you think you could beat us with just numbers?! You idio-" Seth chocked on his own words as he was hit solidly in the head by a pipe. Grimacing, he turned to see the attacker. Seeing red, the marine stood tall lifting his opponent by the hair, and slamming him into the ground with all his strength. Exhaling angrily, the breath was tangible and visible. The marine was pissed. Enemies and Allies alike took a step back from him as he bellowed in rage and charged into more pirates, ready to destroy them all.

The Leading Pirates

The massive invasion seemingly was stemmed at the arrival of the new force. Seth's group began to assist their comrades with gusto, each man proving more worth than those from the pirate's side. Of course, the sheer number was overwhelming, with the growing contigent from the pirate ship adding to the force. Both Lev and Andrew was fighting their own battle, the former pushing his way to the frontlines as the latter shot pirate after pirate from afar. Each Marine knew well enough there was no chance these pirates would give any quarter once they broke through.

Of course, it was not to say neither sides were winning. In fact, it was clear it was at a stalemate now. The new addition from the Marines gave vigor to the force, who pushed back the tide. But victory was not at hand, as new figures suddenly come into play.

Four people suddenly emerged from the ship, leading to the huge uproar of cheer from the pirate side. Just as Lev and Seth led their own men into battle giving the Marines hope, the quartet gave the pirates a boost in their morale.

" The sunshine gives such a beautiful outlook of this battlefield, do you not agree?"

The leading man stated, basking in the glow of it as he took a deep breath. His white hair wrapped with a black bandana, with matching black cloak flowing with the sea winds as he looked at the warzone, revelling in his situation. A woman, this one taller than him and definitely more armored than the leading man, took a step to his side, her eyes scanning the battlefield like a scanvenger. Even with half her face covered, it was clear she lusted for blood, her brown hair, tied to a ponytail to her left, flowing with the breeze.

The last duo had a more menacing look, although one of them looked more calm than the other. Identical twins, same built and even clothes, with the only difference is a scar. With their no sleeve black shirt, each show their scar, one fully burnt on his left while the other on his right. Both wore half gas mask, using them to breath through.

" You really think this is the time for your serenade, Cass?"

The twin whose right arm was burnt retorted, breathing through his gas mask as he look on the battlefield. Like his twin, he was ready to start their little scheme. Wasting two ships on the Marines was foolish, but necessary. Whether they win or lose, all that matters is Bright-Eyes realizing who they are.

" Oh come now, Nikola. My predictions never fail, you know that well enough. Now, you and your brother Panagi can go on and do your bidding. I believe our friend here wants to fight."

Cassander stated as he looked at their last companion. Her eyes were glowing crimson at the sight of blood, and beneath her mask, she grinned. Ablabius, or Abby as she is known, was the most blood-thirsty of the group. Her pure black armor was extremely noticeable, undented and untarnished.

" You know me so well, Cassander. Now then, let us begin."

She replied through her covered mouth, her voice muffled as she suddenly disappeared from view, although her footsteps could be heard faintly. Cassander merely laughed, seeing his men pushing the Marines. Good, keep them distracted. They'll probably never know what hit them. He took a seat at one of the docks wooden support, looking on at his men feverishly fighting as the twins began moving as well, although not towards the main battlefield. Rather, trying to dodge it entirely to sneak inside.

The sound of cheers from the pirates bought Andrew's attention. He looked around, curious as to who or what they were cheering at, before seeing a quartet standing by the enemy ship like heroes. He could not tell who these people were, but clearly, they were the trump cards. Even in the midst of the battle, his sharp eyes kept sight of the group. These people were going to be the reason the pirates are laying down their lives in this endless struggle. It could only mean something is about to happen.

In front of his very eyes, one of the four disappeared from sight, much to his surprise. Another two began splitting from the main body, moving stealthily in what he could only assume was an attempt to circumvent the battle. The last of them simply sat down, not even lifting a finger to help.

" We have trouble! Four new combatants are entering the fray! And whoever they are, the pirates are boosted by them. Safe to say these group are the main leaders of the band. Seth! One of them is sitting by the dock. I can only assume this man is their leader. Move on him now! And I need you to send someone with me to take care of two of them. It seems the two are trying to avoid the battle for some reason. The last of them, I don't know how to tell you this, but she just vanished. I can only assume she is in the middle of the fight and have some sort of ability. Stay wary!"

Andrew stated through the Den Den Mushi, trying to convey every possible information he could decipher from just looking at the group. He took another shot at an oncoming pirate before reloading his gun and beginning to move out. Whoever Seth sent, he could only hope he or she was going to be ready for this.

Seth was mid-combat with a rookie pirate when the four new combatants entered the fray. Quickly knocking the pirate back into a group of his own, he picked up his den-den mushi to send out orders when Andrew's voice came through. Listening intently, he nodded and thought slowly about the situation. Shouting out his orders, he sent Nola to assist Andrew. Pulling up next to Anna he pointed out the assassin. "Ignore the lower class pirates for now - Your assignment is her for the time being."

As the four separated, Seth saw his opportunity to enter the fray himself. He would win this fight the same way he won over his own side of the islands defense. Taking out their leader. Dashing through their pirates, he leapt int the air, spinning and launching a vicious kick at the pirates head. The marine was surprised when the pirate didn't even bother attempting to dodge his attack.

That surprise faded quickly however, when Seth's foot went directly though the Pirate's head, making no connection. Instead, it seemed as if a purple hazy smoke appeared, that his foot has went through. Landing smoothly on the other side of the pirate, Seth steadied himself - his hand dragging against the ground, slowing his momentum until they were roughly 10 feet away, facing each other.

Standing slowly, Seth spoke up, his commanding voice crisp and clear "So, A logia type?" Seth's heart picked up pace, this was something he had not expected - not from pirates of the caliber that he had been fighting "I see...." Seth stretched out a single arm, and pressed down his heel. The blade popped out of the tip of his boot smoothly, and the Lieutenant Commander smiled.

Charging toward the pirate, it had been a long time since he had been this exhilarated in combat.

Anna would fight, as she was getting ready for battle, not waiting for the command from her higher ranking officer, running towards the battleground right away, to stop other marines from getting hurt because of the pirates. But as Anna was running ready to get into the battle, she was told something really important, that four new enemies said to be stronger, then the rest were here, that must be the elites for this pirate crew, the commanders who kept everyone in line. Anna needed to find her, as the commander said to go after the female ninja? Well, it didn't matter if she was a ninja or an assassin, Anna ran at her ready for combat, she had to get close thinking up the best plan, to fight someone unknown, was she weak or strong, only one way to find out. As Anna started to get closer, she would use a simple attack, enough to beat the mooks, pulling out one sword Anna would get ready to slash this woman, at the center, her speed was normal, her swordplay flawless, but Anna only wishes to test this girl before thinking she needed any of her true techniques to win.

Nola watched and listened as she seen Seth head off to deal with the leader, and then Anna was already in the middle of the battle apparently trying to find the one that the officer said was invisible? and Despite having been told to give orders Seth didn't even try to order Anna or her to where to go, meaning Anna moved on her own after the one woman....at loeast she thought that till Seth started to tell Nola to help the commander, and from what she could see he stopped along side Anna long enough to tell her her mission and so Nola simply nodded she had her assignment and she had to go do it as she looked to the other medics "make sure to keep guards posted and help the wounded, if this position gets to dangerous then move on...I have to go help the Commander Remember, you might be marines but your Medics FIRST you SAVE lives, so the other Marines can fight without worry, do that...".

With that done she turned and headed off Catching up with the man only because none of the pirates where really going after her, and she wasn't going after any of them, the pirates where more focused on the clearly armed marines who where giving them one hell of a fight, then someone skirting the edges of the fight and not bothering a soul or drawing much attention to herself. Finally catching up to Andrew she looked to him to see if he was injured and continued on with him "I am the only one they could spare, I will just let you know I am not really combat personnel, so don't expect overly flashy sword play or Blunt hand to hand combat from me" she advised him as they moved.

[The Docks]

The battle was starting to turn to the pirate's side. The continuous push from their forces managed to force the Marines into a defensive position, all of whom was starting to buckle under the increasing pressure. Of course, the Marines had no wish to fall from grace, fighting tooth and nail for every pirate there. Outnumbered, they were, however, not unmatched, each marine proving to be a challenge even for a group of pirates.

One man, however, simply sat behind, looking over the battlefield. Cassander was barely moving, knowing that the fall of this island was close. And Bright-Eyes will finally see the great strength he possess. Maybe he would even get promoted. Taking out another Marine outpost was always seen as a success. He sat on the wooden stand, looking on before finally realizing someone was approaching him.

The man's approach was straight-forward, but Cassander was unmoved. Even when the man's strike 'hit' him, he still refused to move. He stood, turning around as his body recovered back from the purple haze of his devil fruit. He had a grin on his face, surprised someone from the Marines would rush to him. It could only mean someone noticed who he was.

" So, seems like someone has the galls to challenge me. Perfect! Here I thought I would simply oversee my victory without a fight."

The man stated as he grinned at Seth.

" Haze Haze: Burst!"

Cassander added as his arms fell to his side. Suddenly, he rushed forward, propelled by a burst of haze that forced him forward to an almost incredible speed, closing the distance between his foe and himself. The instant they were close, he launched a knee strike right at the stomach of his opponent, even as the burst of his abilities did not stop him, meaning to not only hit his foe, but pull him further away if it hit him.

[The Main Battlefield]

A stab to the left and right was easy, especially with opponents who could not see her. Abby found the battle to be relatively easy, especially with marines who failed in realizing her presence. The Chameleon Fruit user barely had to worry about any retaliation, withering the number of the already weakening Marines. She would have hoped she came across some Marines able to sense her presence, but it seems she was wrong.

Or at least, she was wrong initially..

A sudden foreboding sense of a strike made her realize someone was onto her. Her body instantly phased back to her original form, losing its tranparency, as she barely managed to dodge a slash that would have halved her. She eyed the new individual, surprised that she was found out. Maybe her powers was not as fully ready as she thought. No matter, Abby was an assassin even before she ate her devil fruit. Little reason to fear from this.

" My my, you found me. Seems like you will be an interesting challenge after all."

Abby stated with a smile under her mask, before disappearing from sight again. She stalked her opponent, using the sound of the battlefield to mask any unneeded sound that may give her away. She managed to sneak all the way behind the swordswoman, before rushing ahead with both her weapons, one a short sword, another a kunai, her speed quicker than the average person as she attempted to skewer her opponent from the back.

[Outskirts of the battlefield]

" It matters little. Let's move."

Andrew stated as he rushed towards where he last saw the two mysterious individuals moved. They eventually came to what could only be described as a fence wall that was meant to keep animals away. It was there, they found the two men that was moving stealthily. No doubt, something untowardly was being done here.

" Alright you pricks. Just what exactly are you planning to do?"

The pink haired Lieutenant asked, his weapon trained on them.

The two men looked over, surprised at the quick response of the Marines. But the one with the burnt arm on his right merely laughed, his laughter muffled by the mask he wore but nonetheless clear.

" Who knew the Marines would react so quickly. I warned Cassander to not waste time with his monologue. Oh well."

He replied as he put his hands up, which showed a detonator being held by his left hand. His twin merely kept silent, with only his breathing heard through his mask.

" Pop goes the weasel."

Panagi added as he set off the detonator, which in turn made something in between Andrew and Nola start beeping. He instantly turned to find a bomb right between them, understanding these men were bombers meant to create even more havoc throughout the island.

" Move!"

He shouted as a warning as he dived to the right, away from Nola and the bomb, before hearing the loud sound of an explosion shaking the ground nearby. If the people do not know as of yet there was an attack here, no doubt this small explosion would inform them of it now. Andrew, his ears ringing, tried to shake it off, looking over at the twins as they rushed onto the two of them.

Nikola, the mute one, was already rushing towards Nola, hoping the disorientation of the bomb would make it easy to eliminate her. He aimed a simple strike onto the medic, using his fist to aim at her face, wanting to rid of their pursuers and continue again with their mission.

Seth was unsurprised at the pirates taunts, though as he learned a hundred times over, those who spoke big game, rarely had the strength to back it up. And those who could back it up, he had yet to encounter anyone other than himself. Smiling inward, he couldn't be more happy in this situation - it would be a perfect chance to test that. Outwardly sneering, he threw his own retort at the pirate.

"A Coward, using a cowards weapon, hiding behind his 'army' to impress a false god." The disdain in his voice was evident as he spoke about the Yonkou, and Seth's eyes lit with fury, as he finished his taunt, spitting on the ground. "You're disgusting trash, and you'll die here today, just like the pile of trash I've already killed. You'll be my 2,468th Pirate."

Seth brought his knee up, catching his opponent's attack in a very similar way one would block a sword stroke. The marine was confident they would connect here - after all, if the pirate used his phasing ability, the attack wouldn't hit. As their shins collided, Seth grunted under the force of the attack - surprising, to say the least. It pushed the marine several feet back, however the veteran attributed that to his opponent's momentum, as opposed to strength.

The two were face to face, both held against each other by nothing more than the other's will. Their eye's locking, the hate was apparent from both. Of course, no pirate holds love for any marine, and Seth specifically saw the man as a disease that needed to be cleared. Leaping back once again, Seth wished he had spent more time training with something ranged, that said he did have a couple Aces up his sleeve to make up for it.

Seth began circling his opponent, due to his positioning now, his plan wouldn't work out very well. Once Seth was in position, specifically on the side of the dock that was closer to the shore the marine smiled and stood straight, relaxed and content. This battle was his now. He looked at the width of the dock stealthily, not wanting to give away his plan before he had time to execute it.

"Tell me, scum, did you think you stood a chance against the World Government. Attacking here is almost as scandalous as what the bastardly pirate did some 100 odd years ago when he declared war against the entire government." Seth eyes narrowed, a cocky smile slowly spreading across his face "The only reason he survived was because he had the power to back up his arrogance. You DON'T!"

With the final word bellowed, Seth charged forward intent on ending this bastard's life here and now, however his attack wasn't truly aimed at the pirate, but instead - the dock.

"Bear's Biteeeee!!!!!!!!!!" Seth bellowed as he punched down so hard that the dock began splitting in every direction, cracking and crumbling over the sea. Seth stood at the edge of the remaining dock as the rest crumbled away, blocking any way to avoid his utter demise. With this plan, the pirate would collapse into the sea along with the dock, and drown, powerless to stop it.

Anna would who sense something from this girl she was a little stronger than all the other members of this pirate crew, maybe she was a big hitter for Bright Eye's? If so Anna couldn't let her guard down for even a moment, as she dodged Anna's attack, something that cut down several people here, that is when Anna had zero doubt she was much stronger, as she disappeared again. "For someone that hides, you talk a lot." Anna focuses not moving, pulling out both her swords, with one foot being up a little higher, much in the same way a ballet dancer would have theirs. She kept every sense open trying to block out all other sounds, this girl was good Anna couldn't feel anything yet.

Anna pulled the sword towards her back Anna's arm being straight and then the other also straight, but going towards her front, looking like she was ready to perform some type of dance. But then as this assassin got near Anna she felt her sword move from the wind changing greatly from someone being near, with that Anna' would tap the foot that was slightly raised, spinning around slashing both swords right towards the incoming weapons, much like Zoro's dragon twister, but more graceful, using her swords to stop anything coming near, from the vibrations changing in the air that people make when they move closer to someone at fast speed.

Nola simply followed the commander as he mentioned her lack of combat ability mattered little, she supposed not since she was basically the only person they could spare to send with him, and she was apparently not as tied up as others that needed to hold the battle...she assumed anyway, or perhaps the man was just a decent enough fighter on his own and just wanted someone to watch his back since there were two combatants he was after? Ether way she simply followed along as she kept her eyes open for anything untoward.

As they rounded the corner and she spotted the two she figured he would fire on them and take advantage of having caught them unawares, oddly enough instead he called out to them asking them what their plan was....which honestly she raised an eyebrow and looked at the man a second, it was quite clear what they where here for in the larger picture, but she figured he wanted to know exactly what they were doing, an odd question to ask before they are restrained and dealt with but she let the man do his work.

This did highlight to her the issues with the Marines, questions at the wrong time and action in the wrong direction it would seem, but as she let them talk she looked around, something didn't seem right to her, they cam in to a mostly dead end path, seemed to plan going over a fence, not an insurmountable barrier since it was meant to keep animals from going through not people, but still, and they had tried to remain unseen, though as her eyes scanned the alley they fell upon an odd thing on the ground, and just as her eyes found the thing it started to beep at the same moment the man mentioned something going pop.

Now it was no stretch to assume what the device was and as the man yelled to move Nola was already moving to the side to get clear of the explosive, thankfully the yield seemed to be weak and as it started to clear Nola was greeted by a fist aimed at her face, she was no proper combatant, but she had enough time to move at least enough to cause the attack to not hit square and she rolled more out of accident then training lessening it even more.

"Looks like I have to do this...." she said with that same disinterested tone to her voice as she always had, her bored expression still plain on her face "I am a doctor not a combatant....though even I could tell if you were aiming to do more damage with that explosive your yield was to low....shoddy..." she said simply as she flipped out a scalpel, honestly she had no Idea what to expect from these people but she knew her way around a medical tool.

She took a step forward, looking to lead with her left, but actually instead she threw the scalpel in her right hand, she might not be a fighter but she did know a fair bit about psychology and biological workings, movement would draw the eye naturally so this should help her get in the attack, but she highly doubted she was going to be a better fighter then the man in front of her, but she didn't have to be a better fighter, she just needed to be smarter.

[The Docks]

The quick reactions from his apparent opponent took the seer by surprise. At least for the moment. But even to the eyes of Cassander, he could see the man's true target. His aim was to take out the docks, especially knowing the fact his foe had a devil fruit instilled in him. But even so, he felt slightly impressed that the man's decision was to take out the whole dock.

His enemy's strike broke the whole dock, to the extent it stemmed the reinforcements coming from the pirate ship. But the soothsayer did little to look shock. Instead, he simply blast himself back away from his opponent, flying above the Marine as he landed right behind him on the land by the battlefield, his haze beginning to spread across the place.

" So that was your plan? Destroy the docks and drown me? How uncivilized."

He taunted back, unfazed by the destruction this marine has shown. But it did bring some attentiveness back to his mind. It would seem the Marine is a much dangerous foe than he initially seemed.

Though that matters little as time pass...

" Haze Haze: Windbreaker."

He stated as he clenched his hands into two fists and aim it towards Seth. Moments later, a sudden burst of haze began rushing towards the swordsman, before another two followed as Cassander began to spread his arms, and another dual haze following it, as five burst of haze began to rush towards the Marine, spread out to cover the area in front of the pirate.

[The Battlefield]

Abby was sure she had her foe in her grasp. Yet, to see her not only manage to sense her, but parry away her oncoming attack surprised the assassin. Somehow, her presence was discovered by this swordswoman, and it left her baffled, but impressed. She pulled back, trying to recover from the sudden shock. But it was clear to her, even if she could sense, she could not launch herself into an attack. It could only mean defense was her only option at this point.

With that knowledge, Abby decided to switch her tactics. Instead of trying to sneak up on her, she should instead force a mistake from this Marine. With such a choice, even if she was still hidden, it would mean little since she would sense her.

Gripping her weapons tighter, the assassin rushed onwards, clearly showing her presence to the girl. As the distance was close, a flurry of slashes was unleashed, using both her kunai and short sword to ensure the distance was close. Comparing weapons, the marine had a better advantage due to her sword, but if Abby were to keep at a close distance, such advantage will be useless, leaving basic skills and luck to be the advantage of the strongest.

[Outskirts of the Battlefield]

Nikola, the mute bomber, simply grinned under his mask as his opponent managed to dodge his strike. But it was barely, as if she did not even intended to dodge it. In his mind, it would seem she was not a fighter, which made his job easier, although he had to admit, he wished he could fight someone worthwhile.

His brother, on the other hand, was already moving towards their other visitor. Andrew barely managed to force himself away from the blast, and weak as it was, it made his ears ring. His hearing barely returned when he realized Panagi on him. He was forced to block with his rifle as the man attempted a punch, and it was not long before he realized what exactly was happening as the man retreated again. Looking down, the pink haired marine realized what this man was doing.

Another grenade.

Instinctively, Andrew kicked the bomb away, trying to push himself from the range. It detonate just a few meters away from him, and it again forced the young Stark to drop to the ground. But at least this time, he managed to get his bearings back quicker, as he looked over to his partner, seeing she was trying her best to handle herself.

Nikola was a much more seasoned fighter, and he instantly realized the oncoming blade to him. His theory was right, this girl was barely a fighter. And the blade she was throwing was simply a scalpel, meaning she was a simple medic. What a waste, sending a medic to do a Marines job. If only he could talk, he would have questioned the Marine's sensibility.

Simply putting his hand up as the scalpel was flying to him, it was parried away by his gauntlet, as the burnt man simply shook his head in disappointment. Bringing his right hand into view, he showed her three grenades in his hands, smaller than the normal size, but nonetheless yielding stronger blast than the previous one, since it was his personal grenade. And instead of a pin, each grenade has a button on them.

Clenching his hand into a fist, each of grenades had its button pressed, and he simply threw it to the direction of the medic, nonchalantly waiting for the Marine to simply be blasted away by the grenade.

Seth ignored the pirates taunts, his mind completely entrapped within the battle. Unlike his previous position, in which he was facing a relatively unskilled leader, with a small group - this was the equivalent to a full scale war, and his opponent was stronger than he. Clenching his fist, his sword felt heavy on his back, nearly begging to be drawn. Ignoring the desire to resort to swordplay, Seth looked carefully at the battlefield currently, trying to formulate a plan.

Granted, even a skilled tactician such as Seth struggled against odds such as these. Outnumbered, Outgunned, and facing several high-level pirates, whose abilities were unknown. However, from the purple haze that had appeared, and the way the pirate had dodged his own doom, it was safe to assume that his opponent possessed one of the rare Logia fruits. Considering his position, and considering he was still unaware of what his opponents power was exactly, he held his position at the edge of the collapsed dock.

As he saw the haze begin to spread across the battlefield, he was curious to see how his own men reacted. While Seth saw nothing wrong in a Marine dying for the greater good, it seemed that this man was launching an area attack with no specific target. Crouching down, his hands entwined themselves as he attempted to take a moment to formulate a plan. This action however, was interrupted by his opponent's attack. As several pillars of haze flew towards the marine, he reacted in the only way he could, a way his opponent could not.

Diving backwards, he swam downwards, his shadow disappearing into the water. Holding his breath, as he tread water, the Marine quickly thought of a plan, to at least damage his opponent. Swimming full force towards the surface, he launched himself high into the air. Landing within feet of Cassander, the Marine used the same attack that he had originally struck with. One Cassander knew wouldn't connect, due to his devil fruit.

Leaping into the air, Seth kicked forward hard, inhaling some of the purple mist as he did. However, he knew something Cassander didn't. Within inches of the Pirate's head, Seth did 2 things; first, the man pushed down on his boot, in such a way that it's blade popped out, turning it from a pounding headache, to a pierced skull. Second, the marine closed his eyes, and focused the entirety of his will within this kick. Something he had recently learned, began to envelop his leg. An Onyx Sheen formed on the Marine's leg from kneecap down milliseconds before the attack would connect.

Regardless of the outcome of said attack, Seth would land smoothly, prepared to defend against any forthcoming attack from his opponent.

Anna needed one chance to launch her far distance attack, as a swordsman people don't think that she has one up her sleeve, but once using it, this girl would know about it, being ready for it next time that is why Anna needed to end this right away. Anna stayed in her defense, for now, getting ready for her technique, as Abby started to run towards Anna, she smiled thinking it was time. "One petal falls, as the rare Sakura tree is shown, now it's time for them to Scatter." Much like many swordsmen, Anna says things like that to focus, much like Zoro, but in her own way. "Secret Blossom Style: Sakura's Path!"

Anna swings both her swords with fast speed, aiming towards Abby, a pink shockwave rushing right towards her opponent, even if Anna was ready for this to hit her, she was also ready for the outcome of it missing completely, but this still should be enough to shock her, keeping both eye's locked onto Abby, seeing if she would try to move or dodge, Anna would be ready to move there and cut her down in seconds without a moments thought. This was Anna's only long-range attack, everything else was close combat using swords to battle, and cut them down that is why Anna needed this to work, but she wasn't stupid still being ready for if it didn't, shown in her feet both placed down onto the floor to make a speedy move to cut Abby down if she tried to dodge.

Nola Watched the man and looking at him she could tell by muscle movement that he was smiling at first, but as her own attack was deflected he seemed disappointed, "a punch...then what...grenade...they seem to like them and...yes..grenade..." she thought to herself as she seen him take out three grenades, however these were different they were button activated, more then likely a shorter fuse due to that, and as he casually tossed it Nola rushed forward, rushing back would be less effective as it would mean going in the direction of the momentum of the explosives, perpendicular to the trajectory would be best, but the alleyway prevented that, so the next best direction was to dash in the opposite direction of the momentum, not to mention it would be the least expected move, most would react in a less logical manner after all.

Nola however was almost nothing but logical, and as she raced forward she slipped more scalpels out, "Wears armor...more then likely to protect from closer proximity blasts...however their role of slipping away undetected would mean ether nearly unnatural levels of stealth, or highly specialized training if he is wearing anything heavy enough to properly and fully negate his own explosives, seems confident in his ability against me...simple conclusion, fight normally....avoid use of my modifications and drugs until absolutely needed..." With her plan of action all thought up Nola continued to move forward with that bored look on her face, at the last moment she jumped and was propelled by the blast wave of the explosion, her lighter body being tossed towards her opponent.

As she flew she was mostly safe from the shrapnel, the pressure wave was faster then the shrapnel after all, and as she closed in from the added speed of the blast she took that moment to strike out at the man with her scalpels, "Close combat is preferred as it reduces his ability to use explosives, however he more then likely is capable in melee, were as I am not, however do not ignore the possibility that he is armored enough to withstand small yield explosives at close range, and may indeed have such munitions on him to use in closer proximity including melee" she thought as she slashed at the man with her scalpels.

[The Docks]

The retaliation from his foe was rather surprising. The leader of the pirates could only see the man, even as the attack close, jumping into the water, hiding himself from the oncoming rush of winds. Smart, but fruitless. The haze was already inhaled by the man even without having his attacks hit, which meant his attacks were going to be weaker, possibly slower. But the effects would last after, not immediately, which meant since he jumped into the waters, it would have an affect with his breath held.

Almost immediately, the marine showed himself again, this time coming close to Cassander himself. But a look of ease was on his face, rather than shock. The immediate following attack was quick, almost clearly meant to kill, but the soothsayer simply moved his head away, believing the strike to be easy to handle with his devil fruit.

But he was wrong, as the knife hit onto his shoulder, burying himself. It was shocking to know his powers were gone, but it was clear this man had the ability to attack Logias. Well, it would not matter much. As long as he was this close, his haze would be taking the air away from the man, and that was what he wanted.

His body turned into the haze, as he forced a rush of wind towards the Marine, aiming to envelop the man in the haze.

[The Battlefield]

Abby barely had anytime to react to the attack, seeing the pink shockwave rushing to here as she was closing in on the marine. But the move from the swordswoman was clear to read, and it took a split second for the assassin to realize the oncoming attack. And she took that second well, using her flexibility to jump to the side as the shockwave barely missed her.

She recovered as fast as she could, looking at the swordswoman with shock in her eyes. She did not expect to encounter such a fighter, but it only meant a challenge.

With what she could only assume was her trump card shown, Abby felt this woman would have no other possible abilities. But that does not mean she would treat this to be easy. The shockwave was dodgeable, which was a good sign at the very least. Instead, the assassin began her charge again, this time showing herself instead. But for some reason, she was throwing something out, something not seen to the naked eye. Three distinct whizzing sound could be heard within the battlefield, as Abby threw out three kunais, each hidden with her abilities to prevent the woman from seeing just where the attack was coming.

[Outskirts of the Battlefield]

The move from the medic was shocking for Nikola. He could barely react from the oncoming drop of the woman, clearly closing the distance in less than a second that he could only react by bringing his arm up to block that attack. But even then, he did not bring his gauntlet up, a scalpel of Nola being stabbed onto his hand. A muted scream ran across his head as he forcefully attempted to push back Nola from stabbing him through.

It took a moment to regain his bearings, and he did so by aiming a punch towards Nola, aiming to punch her back from him. In truth, between the two brothers, Nikola was more used to using his bombs, too used to it that close range fighting was not his cup of tea. He fought through the pain shooting in his hand, trying to force her back as he forced his left leg out, trying to kick her away as well to ensure he had the space to breath.
