Lev was himself personally a seasoned sailor, and he did not feel the need to pressure this younger generations of anything. After all, they have been recruited into this task that would probably be dangerous. No reason for him to scare them any longer. He has always been the naturally calm one between the trio in command. That was what made him such a warm person. If it was not for Andrew's insistence that he met them, the Commander himself would very well be welcoming the team at the docks. But even then, he was the one who welcomed them at the gates of the headquarters, such was his upbringing. As the Commander and Lieutenant led the six of them towards the Commodore's office, no doubt they had a lot of questions in their mind. Hell, even the three of them had questions when this was acknowledged by them. What sort of enemies would they expect? How is Bright-Eyes planning to attack this sacred place of the Marines? And why? To prove a point? So many questions whirl around this situation, and the three top brass of the island had little answers to it. All they could do was wait for the time of reckoning, and fight back against the onslaught. But that does not mean they would just wait until it arrived. The Marines stationed here has been training, albeit away from the prying eyes of others. Antonio himself understood that showing an increased of guards would only create fear about the island. And that is something they could not succumb just yet. The two officers eventually led the group to the Commodore's office. Behind the wooden door, there was barely a sound at all. Lev knocked on the door three times, although by the second, all of them could hear a hoarse voice telling them to come in. The commander opened the door, signalling the group to enter as he held the way for them. Even as the group plus the two officers began to gather within the rather large office, the Commodore's dark brown eyes already studied each and everyone of them. Six individuals, more than what he would have expected. Half a dozen of them would certainly make the security force he has more than able. But that is depending on the threat they would face. " Welcome to the JusticeLands, Marines. I am sure you have been properly welcomed and introduced to Commander Lev and my son, Andrew. My name is Commodore Antonio S. Stark. I would assume you understand just what exactly we are dealing with here. This is a matter of national security, and the World Government wishes that we are able to handle this delicate situation without creating another Neptunia incident." The weathered Commodore stated as he let the group get into position in a line. After all, there were too many of them, and barely enough seats for half of them. The other two ranking officers walked behind the wheelchair bound Commodore, standing in attention behind him. Antonio eyed each of them slowly, seeing their potential in the back of their minds. He has heard of this Division, seemingly able to do their jobs as well as being quite the group. He did not know as to whether they are all of the same division, or is there someone out of place. " If you will, I would like you to introduce yourselves to me and the commanding officers. As you know, Commander Stefano and Lieutenant Stark would be taking command of the duties outside of this headquarters due to my... inconvenient situation. I would assume they would prefer to know who they are working with to ensure maximum efficiency." The Commodore stated, wanting to know who he was working with. |

She would blush once more. "I don't even know him, all I know is that his standing in the Marines is of Commander class, but no thank you." Anna would say turning her head as they when more into the base. Keiji the new person to the crew also didn't wish to have his physical well if two people were fighting on the matter maybe Anna would be okay. As they walked more into the base Anna and the rest of the group came upon a door hearing a hoarse voice saying to come in was this man the highest rank officer, the person who everyone would be taking orders from all day? Well, only time would tell. As everyone, including herself, when inside. Anna would stand in a line with the rest of the crew listing to this man, all of them looked like they have seen their own battles on the front lines having life and death face at their door. Giving that Anna was first on the line and he was looking at her, she would go first. "Hello sir, my name is Anna Kranjcar, my father is Kuninotokotachi Kranjcar who is a Captain rank Marine. But I am the swordsmen and chef for this crew. But right now my standing in the Marines is only Apprentice." She would say having a smile. Many who looked at Anna might just think she is a cute girl who is rich and doesn't know how to use the two swords by her side, but well you wouldn't think that if you see her fight. Anna was the lowest standing marine in this room, but you could not say she was the weakest, and her way of thinking was that of high ranking officer. But Anna did have one weakness that was on paper. Anna would now wait for the others to speak and see what the high ranking officers would say. |

Nola looked to the man that joined them and shook her head, she wasn't about to start arguing at the moment, though the moment the assignment was over she was going to have to get both him and Anna to her lab to do the physical, and the DNA sample so she could prepare the security system she was planing for the crew, after all if this issue here was any indication, having a security system that could check who everyone was would be of great help against pirates and infiltrators. But she left that for now and folloed to the office of the man in charge, Though the look of the place as they walked in caused her to shake her head a bit. While she understood the need for such a place for Psychological reasons, spending to much on it and not on defenses lead to the problems that they currently had, and she had to wonder how many security measures the window dressing here would have paid for, doing the match quickly in her head going by rough estimates, it could have paid for a Den Den surveillance system that would definitely help in this situation, though she had to wonder if they hadn't already had one of those installed? though had they one of those they would have already checked that, Though she had to ask later. Back to the matter at hand, unlike the others she hadn't been standing at attention, not being a marine after all she seen no point in doing so, she was a contractor on the crew after all so military matters normally wouldn't be an issue with her if it wasn't for the fact that the crew as a whole, including herself, was sent for. That said she didn't bother reading up on much of the protocol about meeting higher ranked officers. Though the request for introductions made sense to her, they would want to check their identities no doubt, or at the very least know who they would be working with. Anna went first and Nola only raised an eyebrow as the girl introduced herself, and added more information then was probably necessary, such as name dropping her father, his rank, and her own lack of rank, it was curious really to Nola as to why she even bothered to mention that much but she simply shrugged as she realized it was her turn to introduce herself if they were simply going down the line. "Nola Aberdeen, Ships doctor, technically no rank as I am not officially part of the marines. I am a hired contractor to work on the ship, though I am given the full clearance that any in the Medical branch would have working on a ship such as ours...but I don't really know the ins and outs of your security procedures. though I was called along with the rest of the crew so here I am...Though I do have some questions to ask after the introductions are done..." she said with out a salute, again not being military she didn't see a need to, though her face and expression was her normal one of complete disinterest in the goings on happening around her, Even her posture was a bit slack, hands in her pockets and simply standing there like she was waiting for a bus or something. |

Seth listened to the other two introduce themselves, noting their lack of proper etiquette. The Lieutenant Commander scoffed as Anna mentioned her father, what a joke honestly. A swordsman and a chef, he'd be interested to see her own skill. Listening to the next woman introducing herself, he felt a tad bit more respect for her, as she listed nothing but her own accomplishments. Seth had, up until this point, been standing straight-backed with his arms crossed, his usual frown covering his face as his thoughts drifted towards what might be happening here on JusticeLands. Noticing that no one else was speaking up, he clicked his heels together firmly, a stiff salute meeting his forehead. "Lieutenant Commander Seth Dryden. I've been lightly briefed on what is happening here, though all I know is there is a threat to the island." Seth wasn't sure what to comment on next - He wasn't sure what the other two men in the room were doing staying quiet, but he decided to ignore them for now, and addressed the Commodore directly. "Forgive me if this is too direct, sir. There were several rumors aboard the ship while I traveled here." Seth swallowed smoothly, taking a moment to catch his breath. "They say there was a public threat found on grounds. I assume there were pictures taken, or evidence kept of such a threat? That is, if there was any threat in the first place." Seth had only heard a few rumors, though he could piece two and two together, he just simply wanted to get the story straight. "Not to mention sir, I don't mean to overstep my bounds here, but on the way in I noticed that the security was rather relaxed. There were no patrols that I saw, and with the number of marines here, we could easily, and I do mean easily, provide a 2 x 2 grid formation patrol, it would miss very little." |

He was calmly running his comb through his hair, eyes looking towards each direction at the sound of laughter. The atmosphere held peace and tranquility, maybe it was due to the fact that he knew the reason they were told to come here, but he was able to feel a sudden urgency and panic. A sick feeling in his gut one might say. They were till walking through the park before approaching this area that was guarded by more Marines, he suspected it to be the headquarters so he tucked his comb into his right pocket. Eyes narrowing as he was expecting the doors to open up any second now. Unable to take his mind off the idea of getting a physical. "Oh please not again..." His face almost dropping to a frown. It wasn't long until the doors did open, under the command of a hoarse voice telling them to enter. Marines lined up in every direction, it was quite the meeting. The numbers and secrecy only stressed how serious of a situation there was. The tension in the air, but the guy who seemed to be trying to ease the situation was easily enough suspected to be the one in charge. They were now told to present themselves, and the person who went first was known as Anna. Her description of her self-long and winded, but he figured it was necessary, even though he didn't plan on doing it himself. Next went Nola he gulped at the idea of her giving him a physical, she seemed too..bossy. Following up with a salute only proved her stature and how she viewed herself. A stickler for being well behaved and following the rules. It was amazing how much you could learn just from a few seconds of observation. At least so he thought until she moved from a salute into a slouch. "Well..i've been known to be wrong before." He sighed. There was another guy, who he didn't notice was there until long after. Figuring he was invited aswell. "Seth Dryden." He thought to himself, hands motioning towards his pocket as the guy's introduction was followed with him asking a lot of questions. "I didn't figure guys away from the island new of this issue yet, even I barely know what's going on." He thought to himself, a few seconds passed of silence from Seth's question so he figured he would introduce himself before someone interrupted. "Keiji Abarai, eh I'm just here with them." Raising up his right hand and pointing towards the rest of the magisters with his right thumb. "I'm a martial artist, a pretty good one at that. With my fair share of enjoyment through construction. " He sniffed before taking a step back, if there was an open seat. He would happily take it. Edited by Kdubose, Jun 13 2017, 09:26 PM.

Antonio eyed the group with relative interest. He was informed the Dancing Magisters were led by someone known for his fighting capabilities, not by this seemingly green kid. What was even worse was that he did not attempt to introduce himself, nor did the other woman left with the group. He has received information that another member of the Marines would be joining them, not affiliated with the group, but still, it would seem the Dancing Magisters were not as established a group as he would deem them to be. " Well then, as much as it is nice to meet you all, I have to say two of you don't have the possible clearance for this mission, as I was expecting someone else to be leading this group. As such, I would like you two to leave, but please, do enjoy the JusticeLands while you are here." He stated as he signalled Lev to lead them out. True, he was seemingly rushing, but he needed to discuss the situation with the gathered Marines. Since the last of them did not wish to explain themselves, it was the only possible thing he could do. Returning his attention to the group as they were lead out the door by Lev, he could sense at least these men and women were ready. With Lev returning behind him, the Commander finally took a seat back at his wheelchair, looking through the four Marines. This quartet would prove to be interesting at least. Hell, one of them clearly seems to possess some tactical sense, and it would be rather interesting to see if he does have potential. " Good to see you four are willing to join up for the situation ahead. As Lieutenant Commander Dryden stated, we are in a situation that requires careful planning." He motioned behind him as Andrew took out the threat they received from one of the drawers behind him, placing it directly on the table in front of the quartet. " We have received this letter that is threatening to create mass destruction to this place. As much as we would like to deem it just redundant, we have seen one of the Yonkou, Bright-Eyes, destroying Neptunia into a crater. So we are taking strong precautions against such a situation again." He turned his gaze towards the apparent highest ranking between the four, seeing that he was asking why they was barely any patrols. While such questions were fine, Antonio knew that he would not like the answer. " As for that, we simply do not have enough men to actually place in every grid in this place. Excluding you, we have at most 40 Marines in active duty, not to mention we have been tasked to keep the situation a secret from Marines not placed on duty here. The World Government does not want us to be causing panic for the world, and if we were to state that Bright-Eyes, or whoever it is doing this, is trying to destroy a place like this, it would cause a frenzy. He destroyed Neptunia, so a sacred ground like this would cause a massive change of landscape for the World Government. As such, we have to presume we are working as per normal. We have increased the gate security at the docks, plus place some men around the grounds in civilian attire to ensure any sort of weird behavior can be monitored." Antonio stated as he poured himself some drink and beginning to take a drink out of it. He understood why Seth wanted them to place patrols. He wanted to instantly lock down the island himself when he found the threat. But the governing body did not wish for such a thing, fearing it would make them look weak. He had no other choice but to play this hand, especially with the lack of men stationed in this place. They have always believed this place was safe from any sorts of attacks. Now they are paying the price for it. " As you can see, we are now in a precarious position. Too lax, and the enemy would come inside this island and blow up the place. Too strict, and we would have the general population believing that if the Marines rather protect their islands rather than the others. Thus, we have no choice but to play this game." Lev added, seeing his Commander starting to feel the pressure. He took a step forward, taking the attention from the quartet. " The main thing we have to do now is ready ourselves for the coming attack. We have less than 48 hours to do so. And all we have is this picture of the JusticeLands being destroyed and poem to show for it. We don't know if Bright-Eyes is involved in it or not, but we can only assume since he is the only Yonkou in open war with us." The Commodore stated, signalling the group to come forward to take a look at the poem and drawing. The younger minds could actually find some sort of clues to any of them after all, so who knows what they could discover. |

She didn't like how that higher ranking Marine scoffed at her, it was true she had no reason to bring up her father but it was not because of her it was bought up, it was more for the fact it didn't feel like she was hiding it from the Marines from being too embarrassed, she didn't wish to have anything from it, but she didn't wish to act like she was too proud to hide it from them. It was a little shocking seeing how the captain was forced out, she didn't really get to know him, as she doesn't recall finishing one mission with him, well it was their choice in the end. She had to give it towards that Marine who scoffed at her, he was smarter and Vahlion, able to lead and think, it wouldn't be a shock to Anna if he was leading this mission in Vahlion's place. Hearing him talk, she thought, was it really Bright Eye's who was attacking this island soon? She was powerful, but her rank was a little low to handle someone of his fame and power. It was easy to see the Marines didn't wish to look weak by informing that Bright Eye's could attack, as she would say her own question after he answered the one told by Seth. "Sir, couldn't we still be able to shut down all the rides by saying we need to repair them, it wouldn't make us look weak and we wouldn't have to tell them about Bright Eye's it would also keep any civilians from getting hurt with many of them leaving the island?" They asked them to come forward, as Anna would take a look reading it. the Heaven has granted frEedom to our cause; and With It, alL Life would pause; his feat at Neptunia has Only given sTrength to his flock, and the moment Beckons with Each tick of the clock; his Silence would Topple the lands with Overwhelming belief, And the body would Pray for their Painful dEath to be unDoubtedly brief. It was a thinker, as she looked it over carefully before saying anything. "Heaven as granted freedom to his cause, I think anyone who is with bright eyes will keep their heavenly ground with him, meaning side with me, and you will have peace. But all that don't their lives will pause, so if you don't side with him, you will be no more. Destroying Neptunia has put fear into people's hearts, or he gained something we don't know when he destroyed it, and only them under him will gain the strength to use it, that would be his flock. With each and every passing second of the clock, even without saying a word his send fear into your heart, as you wished your death was undoubtedly brief." |

It was showing how much more serious the situation was with every passing second. He found himself resting his back aginst the seat a little too relaxed, laying his right leg folded and over his left leg. Resting his face against his right fist. "Hmm.." He began to tap on the armrest of it with his left index finger, repeatedly. He was using this time to go over all the information they were given. What would Bright-Eyes possibly gain from attacking an amusement park, a chance to place fear through the rest of the grand line? Or simply an act of power that didn't discriminate. It was hard to say. He stopped his tapping as he heard Anna giving her own suggesting about plans to help the situation. "I don't think shutting down all the rides would really help the situation. Infact.." He raised his face from resting on his right chin. "It might make the situation worse. We gotta believe that the citizens are smarter than we think they are. All the rides just happen to be shutting down at the same time? Even that would cause suspicion. The end result being a chaos just as big as us telling them that their lives are in danger. " Now beginning to slouch a bit in his chair, his eyes turning towards Antonio. " It was a good call in deciding to keep this a secret from the guests. Trying to figure this out in a panic would make this nearly impossible." He looked up a bit as he saw that the were told to come forth and examine what seemed to be a clue. Walking up and placing his hand on the desk he started to stare furiously at the paper, almost as if a scary look would cause it to blurt out the secrets it held. "H..E..W..I..L..L..N..O..T..B. E..S...T..O..P..P..E..D..He will not be stopped?" He found himself saying out loud as he was tracing the sentences with his right index finger. "If you look closely and follow all the Capitalized letters, you can see some of them are out of place, which will only give you a few bits of the message which makes no sense. However, if you use every capital letter in it, they spell out He will not be stopped. Guess we can say he has a lot of confidence that we won't be able to figure this out in time." He sighed and raised himself up, trying to see if there was anything else hidden in the message anything about a location or any other signs. He heard Anna giving out other things she seemed to have put together from the message, it was all a lot of handle at one time. "The only real question I have is why warn us in the first place. He doesn't seem like one to gloat, and just a sudden attack and destroying the place without warning would probably leave a bigger message and effect. It's like it's all just a big game." He went back to rest in his chair, his hands coming together while resting his chin upon the openings between his thumbs and his index fingers. It was time to think. "This may be a strange question. But what's the most populated part of this amusement park?" Edited by Kdubose, Jun 17 2017, 10:01 PM.

Seth listened to both of his new companions take on the note, and back tracked to Anna's question. "As Commander Lev stated; Bright Eyes is the only person who is currently at odds with the marines, and had the capability to cause this type of damage..." Thinking carefully on how he would word his next few thoughts, he turned and spoke directly to her. "If we were to conveniently shut down Justicelands two days before an attack that will likely be broadcast over the world - if not by us, then by the attacker, we would look cowardly." Taking a moment to digest the entire situation, he spoke once more "Not to mention, if this is Bright-Eyes himself, we are looking at a very realistic chance of losing." moving forward to examine the note, he realized what Keiji said was true - the capitalized letter's spelled out their own message, and with the peculiar capitalization, there was no possibility that it was a mere coincidence. Taking a moment, he first addressed the Commodore. "You said this threat was found on our premises yes?" Crossing his arms, he began tapping his chin lightly in thought "Chances are, with an enforced marine presence the perpetrator will reveal himself through a silly mistake, however caution should still be taken in regards to him or her." Stopping for a moment as he realized he didn't explain himself, he added on "This was quite likely an inside job. My guess would be a marine impostor who is likely still on the island. If he goes unfound before the attack, it would be disastrous." Addressing the Lieutenant in the room, he asked a simple thing of him. "Lieutenant, please do run back ground checks on all marines here, including those present in the room. I'd also like information on any marines who transferred in or out of Justicelands within a week of the threat being found." Finally he addressed the actual threat; and Keiji's question first "My guess on that would be it was an oversight. This is hopeful and unlikely, though I doubt Bright Eyes himself will show himself - not for an amusement park. This is likely a commander, or underling who's trying to get recognized, though that doesn't mean we should take them lightly." Turning, he examined the destruction sketch, as something dawned on him. "No.... That's wrong." Seth's eyes narrowed as he figured out the true meaning behind the destruction. "Tell me, Commodore, What's the best way to distract an enemy?" The Lieutenant Commander didn't bother waiting for a response. He simply set the sketch back down and tapped it twice. "The date is there to mislead us. Quite likely, the day will pass normally, and they'll strike afterwards, once our guards are dropped and we're sure this was a prank." Standing straight, he spoke up one last time "Commodore, would it be possible for me to meet with your strategists and tactician's? I feel, up until the battle, that is where my skills would be best suited." 6/23 Edit

The look of amusement appeared on the Commodore's face. He had to admit, he did not expect much from this group of Marines, yet it seems they have at least the knowledge to point out some rather interesting facts. Even Lev, standing behind his Commodore, had a look of amusement on him. It would seemed that Antonio had underestimated the group, and no doubt he would be saying sorry if he did let his thoughts go through his mouth. " Very good. That was the first thing Andrew picked up when we checked through the message. I assume the 'He' in the message was meant as a warning, possibly referring to Bright-Eyes being an unstoppable force in our war against him. Of course, it could mean entirely different in the writer's perspective, but until we apprehend him, we will not be able to discover that truth. As for closing the rides, as everyone here have stated, it would be impossible. A single ride closed, people will start to talk. If everything is shut down, they would suspect some thing is wrong, especially since the war against Bright-Eyes is of public knowledge. Even the World Government would not approve of such a move, especially if it makes them look weak." The wheelchair bound Marine stopped for a moment, sipping his drink as he laid his back to his chair, looking at the remaining Marines with him. The Marine named Seth seemed to be quick in his mind, the look of a man taking mental notes through everything he saw. It was interesting to have such a man to assist him. Even before he stated to want to talk to the people involved in the planning, Antonio already felt he would prove to be a valuable asset to them. It was clear the man had plans in his mind. " The problem with that theory of yours, Lieutenant Commander Dryden, is that we know who planted the package. A chore boy by the name of Kelvin was off duty at the time. He was bringing his family over, including his wife's brother. Our videos caught him planting the package, and we already apprehended him. However, the man was only a money hungry man who did not even know what was in the package. Seems like whoever had him planted it didn't reveal himself to him. His only order was to place the package somewhere in the park, not anywhere specific. Guess the enemy knows we will find it one way or another." The younger Stark stated, his body fidgetting slightly at the constant standstill. He was still too young to be rigid, preferring to walk around which is the reason why he was part of the grounds operation. The three leading Marines listened to Seth, seeing that he maybe right. What was the best way to distract a group? By stating a date that they would not be planning the attack. But even so, that would only mean they have to start bracing themselves for the attack sooner rather than later. The date was only tomorrow, which means it could even happen today. " It seems you have a point, Dryden. The whole situation seems to point they might actually be planning an alternative date of attack. But the message does seem to make the writer confident of their abilties. As much as tactics dictates attack the unexpected, the man who wrote this letter had the utmost confidence to actually send a threat to us, warning us beforehand. I could be wrong, and if I am I'll apologize, but I think the attack will happen tomorrow no matter what the cost. But even if it does not occur tomorrow, we have our orders to be ready until such an event comes to place. Unless it happens today, they will be facing the full ready might of the Marines stationed here." Antonio stated as his mind began to formulate probable situations. With his leader being distracted, Lev decided it was the best time to state to the group exactly why tomorrow was the probable date of attack. Maybe there was a leak in the Marines after all, but one thing for sure it was not from them. " The reason why we believed it is tomorrow is because a parade has been in the planning to lighten the mood for the people. We have invited some of the top brass to join in the festivities, although we do not know who will be joining. It would be the best time for them to inflict horrendous damage to the Marines and World Government, as well as civilian populations. Again, we tried to stop the parade, but the World Government did not want to show weakness, thus leaving us with this security job we have to deal with." Lev stated, understanding that this news would be new to the group. They were expecting high ranking Marines and World Government officials to actually join in, though personally they have not received any acceptance or rejections from any of them. But if they put the date to the exact point of the parade, it was rather clear that would be the obvious attack. This information has not been spread around the lower ranks, simply because it was supposed to be classified. Antonio himself has been in deep thought. Even if they guessed right, the attack could still miss its date, attacking in another date. That is another possibility that they would have to consider. " Since you have all just arrived, I believe it is too strenuous to actually planned things out at the moment at full capacity. If you will, fellow Marines outside would be leading you to your quarters, and we will continue our discussion at dinner once we have all digest the information. Dinner will be at 1800 hours. I will meet you all then. Dismissed." The older Stark stated, wanting to discuss the current situation with his two aides. It was clear that new information has come about, as well as new possibilities. He had to discuss through his two confidants. After all, Seth could be on to something. There could be people on his island that could be spies. He had to double-check with the two of them as to whether that were the case or not. |

Anna was the only one not to see the letters matching up like that or maybe she did and didn't point it out. Anna could understand what everyone was saying, but if it makes them look weak or not, wouldn't it be better to show we will protect the people even at that cost? Well, it was not in her place to question that rule, but she could understand. "Yes Sir, I understand." A man who turned his back on the Marines, it was wrong, but all they knew it could be a reason behind it, but saying that would get her nowhere at all. She couldn't really agree with someone that would turn their back on the Marines like that. So the attack could happen today or tomorrow, well she would try her best to be ready, she was unsure about all the other Marines here, but in her mind, the people mattered most. Well, at least some of them did wish to stop something that was going to happen, and that was the parade. The Marines highest ranking officer in this room would say they should meet later it was true many of them could be tired from the long trip. "Yes, sir." She would say it was nothing more Anna really had left to comment on. Anna didn't like how the Marines did things sometimes, but well in her mind they need to keep the people safe at any cost, but sometimes you need to think about showing off your power and not being scared of pirates, if they didn't the Marines would look weak and lose the respect of all the people, that they wished to keep safe, and if they showed weakness the people would lose trust in them. So it was not like Anna didn't understand it at all. She would walk out with the rest of the marines, as they would show her, what room. She was staying in. The rest of her crew didn't show much sign of anything the captain was gone, now Nola was not saying anything. Edited by Kaguya Light1, Jun 23 2017, 05:10 PM.

Nodded as he slowly went back to his seat, and crossed his legs. Hands pressed together in a fashion of someone whose specific task was to just "listen." He looked over towards Seth, who was beginning to bring up very severe points. Keiji never figured that there was a traitor in their midst, but it seems the situation involving that person was already handled. "Good." He thought to himself. Hearing Seth go on the more tactical end about settling the situation. This sure was interesting, Keiji could find himself getting more and more into the situation as it passed by. He looked up from his seat at the announcement that they will be taking as short intermission to give everyone a chance to relieve themselves of stress. Keiji couldn't help but feel some type of way about this idea. The last thing he possibly could think about in this time of day was relaxing, especially with the stress of accomplishing such a task that he has no idea where to begin. It was like waiting for destruction, there was even a hint of doubt that maybe they couldn't accomplish this. He shrugged it off and stood up in his seat. Walking towards the door, he figured this was an act of getting us more used to one another and enable some form of advanced teamwork. But that was just his suspicion, he walked where directed hands in his pockets. |

Nola stayed silent as the captain was told to leave, if he didn't have the clearance he didn't have the clearance and she watched him go before returning her gaze to what was ahead of her and she listened to what was being said, so far it seemed a fair bit was known but not nearly enough, and the note that was brought out was starting to get analyzed by the other people with her. She looked at the note and quickly noticed the letters and put it together, however she seen no need to comment on it as one of the others had done the same and was filling the rest in on the hidden message, the date was also discussed and Nola simply let the people around her decide on that, after all they seemed to be more militarily strategic them her, she was a doctor not a military tactical specialist, best to leave the people who trained for it to deal with it. Though as she heard the reason for not getting every available body out working on this she frowned a bit, 'to not show weakness' was a stupid reason to not do everything possible to protect a location you deemed important, more then likely this was exactly the reaction the perpetrator was counting on when they set this all up, increasing the probability that they would succeed by playing on the arrogance and bullheadedness of those in charge. if they didn't use everyone they could they were starving themselves of an important resource, She sighed at the stupidity of the ones in charge, tying their hands due to stupid reasons like this, if they succeeded they could use it as a publicity move, if they failed and they lost so many innocent people they would lose the faith and trust of the people that looked up to them, so what if they showed weakness? they could always regain that with the proper spin on what had happened, Failure though would make them look totally incompetent. With a final sigh of resignation, Nola decided to say nothing at the moment, what could be gleaned from the paper had been gleaned and what could be done with the resources at hand had been discussed at length. she then heard that they would have some time to relax and get some food in them to better work on the problem and Nola nodded at that reasoning, "good Idea, Best to rest a bit and let the mind focus and have the bodily needs taken care of, besides I have a few physicals to do on all of the people working on my team here, as I want to make sure they are in good condition for the no doubt strenuous activities ahead with your permission" she looked to the older Stark, eying him a moment as she thought on checking on his health as well. "I am sure my team is not the only ones in need of a quick physical to ensure proper operational quality and physical health, not to mention mental health as well as a job like this can cause quite a bit of strain on the ones involved, you three should also undergo a quick physical before our meal simply to ensure that you get what medications or advice you may need, weather you listen to the advice or take the medications would be up to you, but I at least want to be sure of everyone's physical and mental well being before we begin for the safety of everyone else involved" she finished as she looked to the commander letting the others leave if they wished for now as she would be shown to them later if given the go ahead. |

Seth nearly felt insulted at the idea of 'rest'. As an active duty officer of the military, he would always put the mission before his well being. However, he also knew better than to argue with his higher-ups on something so trivial. This would provide plenty of time for him to get used to his new subordinates, and allow himself time to familiarize himself with the island. "Sir!" He saluted firmly, before turning on a heel and following the marines out of the room. As they left, his mind reeled trying to figure out the best ways to distribute the men on the island. Stepping away from the group momentarily, he jogged to the side to a marine working at the park. The young man saluted sloppily as he saw the officer running at him. Before he had even arrived, Seth let out a simple 'At Ease.' command, letting the man return to his duties while Seth asked for the materials he would need. Nodding in thanks, he returned to the group, and followed the marines the rest of the way. When they arrived to their temporary barracks, Seth pulled a chair up to the nearest table, and spread out the small map of Justicelands he had gotten from the marine earlier. Looking over the scale of the map, he called over the group whom he had joined and a few marines from the island who would know the layout better than just what the map showed him. "Tell me, if we have 40 active duty marines here...." He pulled a small graphite pencil from his pocket and traced out a grid over the land, which lead to 47 grids that would need patrolling, not including people running the rides. "What do you think if we were too..." Marking small x's on the rides, he pointed to them one by one as he continued speaking "Place one marine on each of these rides to continue running it - this way the general population will remain largely unaware that anything is amiss..." Thinking carefully, he scratched the idea before continuing. "The Commodore was right, we simply don't have enough men as it stands." Tapping his temple with the pencil, he thought carefully how he could make a diverse impact in the islands defenses, and came up with nothing. Without knowing the men and women he had under him, he couldn't properly strategize. "We're going to re-introduce ourselves." Seth stated to the group "Yes, we just did it in front of the Commodore and his men, however I was more focused on formulating a plan than worrying about you all given the situation. Now however, I need information. I'll start." Seth stood, and held a rigid stance in front of the group. "Lt. Commander Seth Dryden - I'm a Martial Artist who specializes in Rokushiki. I'm best at a close range, however I can fight mid range also. I've been with the marines for 14 years." Seth awaited his new subordinates to introduce themselves. |

Anna would follow everyone out from this room, it was time for her to think about what this mission may take out of her, Bright eye's one of the biggest powerful people that have taken the world over, even the Marines were not able to stop him. She needed to think as she sat down, but the moment she did the person that made a face at her before was starting to speak, he was the highest rank officer here, so it would be for the best if she listens to him and whatever he had to say. Anna would stand up to him as well saying her rank with a smile. "My name is Anna Kranjcar, I am a swordsman and cook for the crew and I use my own styles." She would keep speaking as this was not easy to say towards people that might not know anything about how to even use a sword. "My styles are Heavenly Rose Style: Which is about fast cuts and graceful form, next is Curse Thorn Style, that is more about deep and deadly attacks, and my last Secret Blossom Style, which are my rare Techniques which I only use when I am forced to react, with my full strength. I also have something else, a power that is well hard to explain." Anna would try to think up a way to say it. "Like I can see, no feel attacks coming before it happens...... It's odd, I don't really know what it is yet." Anna was starting to learn Haki but had no idea what that was, or how she learned it, but her Haki ability was not fully out yet. "I am an Apprentice rank in the marines and started when I was 14 learning under many officers. As I was still in school and too young to leave and join the ranks of the Marines." That should be all of the information he needed to hear. As she would allow someone else to go now. |
