William has finally found it, the perfect island to train his devil fruit. He had often found himself in need of restraining himself when fighting, mainly because his conveniently sharp feathers had this irritating tendency to wilt into huge ammounts of toxic goo, endangering the lives of any bystanders nearby, in stark irony to his noble profession as a doctor. So he had decided to find an unpopulated island to let loose a bit and become stronger. To this day, he has found his lack of ability to truly harm Arcadia, despite the positive outcome of the mission, laughable, and he was intent on becoming stronger. Scarface and his crewmate were certainly a step in the right direction, but until he explored every inch of the possibilities offered by his devil fruit and his sword, he wouldn't be satisfied. Little Garden was a paradise for someone looking for a bit of solitude, since the only companionship one would expect to find here are trees and animals. Huge animals, which are perfect for all sorts of physical training. "Don't wander too far from the ship. I wouldn't want you to get lost or eaten." he ordered the few workers who accompagnied him abroad Shark. He had made the choice to travel here by boat, rather than by flight for the simple reason that he would be able to train better if he was well rested. Walking into shore, the first action that he took was unsheath his sword and try to cut the thick tree in front of him in half. The sword made a horrible dent in the tree, ravaging about a third of its girth and ended up stuck. As he expected the wood of such old jungle constructs was much tougher than normal, more akin to iron than normal wood, and his rapier wasn't the most suited to cutting. In fact, he was sure that if he had used a rapier of normal durability the weapon would snap with the attempt alone. He flexed his shoulder and arm and wrenched the blade from the tree, then he stepped back a few paces. "Bleeding Star!" he said softly as he jumped forward and stabbed the tree with the point of his blade, piercing it cleanly, but not actually achiving his goal of cutting it. This time the blade slid out more smoothly without him needing to flex. Heh.. I still have much to learn! he thought to himself, smiling. Technique Used

A few weeks ago, Zommari had finished his basic training as a seaman recruit on the isle of Brick Blues. Due to the effect that the nature of the island had on its inhabitants, he had felt as though he hadn't really learned anything. All that he had endured was the simple training of a marine, and even than, he still felt as though he wasn't truly learning much. His superiors were drab and had no real inspiration, so there wasn't very much that had been taught. With thought in mind, he had decided to head off towards another island and attempt to get stronger on his own. Perhaps over time, he would learn of local marines and possibly convince them to teach him the basics. After reviewing his options, he had come across a rather interesting island known as Little Garden. A place that had dense forests and creatures from the prehistoric area. To add even more of an interesting effect for his training, this island had volcanoes had went off in timed intervals. The most pressing of all the volcanoes had been the ones that went off every hour on the dot. How could you possibly survive such a thing? All that he had known about this was that when the volcanoes erupted, he had known that it was time to make his brake off the island. Once the ship that he had been located on had passed by the island, Zommari had asked for the navigator of the ship to temporarily dock at the island. After the navigator had said no, Sora had to let out a slight sigh and head on back towards the back of the ship. He may not have had permission off the ship, but he wasn't about to simply give up now. Honestly, he was so new and so small that the crew wouldn't even notice if he had been gone for a few hours, so once he had gotten to the back of the ship, he had performed a bird call and called down one of the Seagulls that had been flying overhead. Within a brief moment, one of the seagulls had flown on down towards the ship and picked up Zommari, allowing for him to speak to the bird and convince it to lead him to the island. Once the bird had dropped gotten close to the island, it had began to fly over the island, giving Zommari a birds eye view of the island. From here, he could see the former sea king skeletons and the volcanoes as well. Zommari had truly been enjoying this view as he continued to look down on the island. The island below had his full attention, distracting him from what came next. As he had been looking down on the island below, a winged dinosaur that had been covered in feathers had began to make headway towards the seagull. With a quick snap, the dinosaur had taken the seagull into its mouth, forcing Zommari's balance to get thrown off and to fall down into the tree tops below. The first couple of branches had hurt him, but he had managed to secure his own safety by using his tail to grasp onto a branch and swing himself down to the ground, branch by branch. Once he had gotten to about a good ten feet off of the ground, he had stopped himself and began to survey the area. Off in the distance he could still see his own ship. He would have to keep an eye on it if he were going to make his return to it within the hour. In addition to his own ship, another ship had come into view. Definitely something that he hadn't been expecting. Who could possibly want to come to an island like this? It better not be a pirate. As he said this last part, his voice turned stern. He was ready to take on the evil doer below if that is whom they had been. With his mind now set on finding the owner of this ship, he continued to survey the area. Of course, the moment that the tree he had been standing on began to shake, he had been thrown off his balance once more, forcing him to hold onto the branch with everything that he had. It was a great thing that he hadn't weighed more than a couple of pounds. Once the tree stopped shaking, he had looked down towards the ground. In doing so, he had noticed one of the humans that he knew all too well. Perhaps this man was the owner of that ship off the coast. I could do better with that ship .. "Hey Big Human! Stop shaking the tree-resu!" Peeved with this man, he had jumped down from up above and landed onto the top of this man's head. "Are you a pirate big human-resu?!" Where is this voice coming from? the musketeer thought to himself as he looked up at the tree, not seeing anyone who could have spoke. William was no stranger to abnormality, being the host of one of the rarest types of fruit powers on the globe, but he was slightly put off by the fact that things he can't explain started happening so soon, especially as he was trying to whet his appetite for training. As he brought his head down again, contemplating the possibilities of whom or what might have spoken to him, he felt a soft thud on his grey musketeer hat and suddenly the voice became much closer. His expression of slight annoyance was transformed into one of delight at the prospect of a new discovery. He seathed his sword and took the hat off his head into both hands and lowered to see what was on top. The creature he saw was even more awesome than he let himself dare imagine. The smallest little fellow, with a fluffy tail that looks much like a squirell's. "You're so small...." he said in wonder. William wondered if it would be rude to grab it in his palm, before he realized that the guy was looking at him with a bit of annoyance and had to rewind what he had heard before to figure out why and respond accordingly. "Oh sorry... I'm not a pirate, I'm just training. I thought this island was abandoned so I didn't expect to inconvenience anyone." At this point, William remembered that this fellow had called him big-human, which probably meant he was always small, and not some sort of small animal zoan. Though he could not for the life of him figure out a good way to breach the subject. That was when he noticed the little marine uniform this man was wearing. "You're a marine right?" he said trying not to adress the elephant in room first. "I'm a bounty hunter myself, I came to this island to train for a little bit. You can call me William." |

As Zommari had been speaking to the owner of this grey musketeer hat, the man whom he had been standing on had picked up his hat and decided to take it off. Zommari hadn't been expecting the man to do so, causing him to take a defensive stance once the hat he had been standing on began to move. It had felt as though the world had been trembling, due to the fact that his own body hadn't of been very balanced on the hat once it had no real base to support it's shape. Due to the fact that this man had startled him, Zommari was about to make a rather big deal about it. Perhaps going as far as to even yell at the man. He would have taken this action if it hadn't of been for the fact that the man began to speak to him, saying that he is "so small." Hearing this human say such a thing had upset him. Not for the reasoning of the fact that the man called him small, but for the fact that the man hadn't even realized that he had been that of the tontatta race. Did he honestly not know that he was a tontatta? There was no possible way for him to not know right? Everyone knew who the tontta were right? With an irritated look in his eyes now, he began to glare up at the brown haired man. "Well of course I'm small-resu! I am a tontatta y'know?!" Perhaps he wasn't yelling loud enough, seeing as how the man hadn't heard what he had just told him. Perhaps he should just wait until this little fracas had been settled. Speaking of such matters, the man before him had began to explain a few things that had cleared some things up between the two of them. First of all, the man that had been standing in front of him had not been a pirate. That was good because otherwise he would have had to beat him up and bring him in. Second of all, the man had been here to train as well, and even stated that he thought that the island had no real inhabitants, so it would have been safe here. Zommari understood the mans reasoning and upon hearing this, automatically believed what it was that he had said. "Oh! That is good to hear indeed-resu! I thought that I was going to have to beat you up and bring you in. Can't have pirates running around here y'know-resu?" With all jokes aside, William began to ask him if he had been a marine. Upon hearing this, Zommari had been shocked. How did he know that?!?!?! He had been so shocked in fact that his eyes had gone wide and his cheeks had been flushed. That was at least until he had realized that he had been wearing his marine uniform at this very moment. Embarrassed by this fact, he began to laugh nervously and rub the back of his head in an embarrassing manner. With a slight chuckle, he began to speak to the man up holding him in a sense. "I am indeed a marine young civilian-resu." Once he had said this, the man had explained that he had been a bounty hunter and that his name had been William. "Well it is nice to know that we are on the same side of the law-resu. I am glad to know that we have people that are helping out us marines in the war against the pirates. Speaking of which, if you want William, we can train together! I am here to train as well and I think that it would benefit the both of us to work together! And than maybe we can talk about ways to increase the effectiveness of your ship-resu." This last bit had been said with a wink. Zommari's own little way of pointing out to the man that he had been a carpenter that was willing to help out. |

Tontatta? What's a Tontatta? he almost asked out loud before realizing that evidently, a Tontatta is whatever it is that was standing on his hat right now, a small human with a fluffy tail, and that it would be rude to pry further besides, so he held his question close to his chest, and continued listening. He couldn't tell if the Tontatta was actually old enough to call him young. If anything, he looked younger than the musketeer. But then again, this was Will's first time meeting someone like him so he didn't have any frame of reference to how they age. Another delicate topic he thought best to avoid breaching. The doctor waited a bit in hopes that the Tontatta would introduce himself by name, but he never did. Instead, he propsed that they train together, and ended by mentioning that he could improve upon William's ship. For a moment, Will wondered how the Tontatta knew he came by ship, before realizing that it was actually not very common for people to be able to fly either, even if it were his much prefered method of travel, and such an assumption would only be natural for someone he had just met to make. "You're a shipwright too? That's impressive." he said, avoiding to offer Shark up for improvements. He was much more interested in the possibility of a training partner. But before all that, he needed to put a name on the new friend he just made: "By the way, what is your name?" "Alright, let's train together. Try to hit me and I will try to block it with my sword." The msuketeer brushed his index on the pommel of his rapier at the end of that sentence before taking a firm grip on the hilt, all the while using his other hand to support his hat from the bottm so that he can grab it and put it back on his head when the Tontatta attacks. He was very confident in his physical ability, so he naturally assumed that he would be able to handle the Tontata's attack. Edited by Franky, Mar 30 2017, 12:09 PM.

Whilst communicating with William, Zommari continues to smile. His smile had only grown larger however as the man ends up stating that he is impressed by the fact that the tontatta had been a carpenter. He began to bare his teeth as he laughed in an embarrassed matter. With a simple wave of the hand towards William, Zommari began to speak."Oh, it's no big deal big human~ I don't know what the others of my kind are like, but I am most certainly a very effective carpenter-resu!" He than began to laugh a little more as he gave the human before him a big thumbs up. I am such a good carpenter~ People all around the world must love me for my exquisite ability! Zommari was honestly pretty full of himself when it came to the matters of his carpentry, but it was that fullheadedness that ended up giving him the ability to work so hard and perfect his craft. Whilst Zommari had been thinking to himself about just how great he had been, William ended up asking him for his name. Upon hearing the man's words, Zommari had gone wide eyed once again. He honestly hadn't even realized that he had completely forgotten to tell this man his name. Attempting to pull himself back together, he had stood at attention and performed a salute to the man before him. "Seaman Recruit Zommari Granz of the Brick Blues Marine Outpost at your attention sir! I apologize for not previously telling you my name earlier. I was so caught up in everything else that I hadn't even realized that I hadn't told you my name." With that said and out of the way, Zommari had placed his arms at his sides and leaned forward to end in a bow. As he had been in his bowed state, William had agreed to training with him. Upon hearing this, Zommari's smile had grown upon his face once more. Training was the reason that he had come to this island in the first place, so at least he was able to get it out of the way now. As William continued to speak, he had told the tontatta to attack him and to attempt to hit him, and that in return, he would attempt to block his attack with his sword. Zommari already had an idea of what he had wanted to do with this moment, so he was hoping that the man would hold his sword off on it's side so that it wouldn't cut Zommari into little pieces. "I hope that you are ready than bug human-resu. I suggest that you don't take me lightly, lest pain befall you-resu." With a smirk still on his face, Zommari had began to bend his legs. Once they had gained enough compression within his legs, Zommari had leapt up from off of the mans hat and as high into the air as his leap would take him. Once he had reached the peak of his leap, Zommari had performed a flip and began to attempt to bring his tail down onto the man with as much force and tenacity as he could.

The doctor found it surprising that Zommari had taken his introduction so seriously. After all, he had attempted to ask rather casually so as not to make him uncomfortable. He guessed that this kind of attitude usually comes with the marine training, and wondered how his life would be different if he had chosen to join the marines instead of searching for his brothers. Believe it or not, that had actually been a possibility that he considered at a certain point in his life. "Oh don't you worry about it! I just wanted to know what to call you that's all." he responded with an amiable smile. Having enough confidence in his agility, William was expecting to be able to block Zommari's attack with relative ease, especially since the Tontatta's preparation movement made it obvious that he will jump up. So you can imagine his surprise when the little fellow completely disappeared from his field of vision. By the time William brought up his sword, and having been taken a bit off guard, Zommari had been descending on his head with his tail. William brought up his sword with blinding speed, flat side first, with the intent to block, but alas, in his haste, his aim was off by an entire inch, which admitedly wouldn't have mattered much had the target been bigger, but in this case, it meant that he recieved a blow to the nose. The musketeer was driven back slightly, but he regained his balance with grace quite quickly. Normally, he would have gone on the offensive at that point, but he didn't actually see where Zommari had ended up, what with the duel taking place in a jungle. Instead, he decided to remain on the defensive. I think that this will make excellent accuracy training. he thought to himself. Putting his hat on finally, William declared: "Next time I will definitely block you." Edited by Franky, Apr 1 2017, 01:47 PM.

As Zommari had come down from the open space above William, he began to use the momentum of his body within his own attack and incorporated the momentum into a full force blunt tail against the mans nose. Honestly, William hadn't even taken into account the iron casing around his tail when he had smashed it down onto this man's nose, and felt bad for the pain that he had caused this man. At the same time however, this had been a sparring match and he wasn't about to have pity on the enemy. Once his hit had landed, Zommari's body began to spin down towards the ground, allowing him a brief moment to take pride in the fact that he had landed an attack on this man so bluntly. Of course, it had been his size that had really even allowed for him to make such an impact, but he didn't care about such trivialities. Once he had landed on the ground below, without even meaning to, Zommari had ended up blending in with his surroundings. Of course, this had been due to the fact that he had been extremely small on an island that was covered in a dense forest and tall grass, but who could really say otherwise? Than again, Zommari could. With his vision now set on William once again, he began to think to himself. How is it that I even managed to make sch a significant blow on him this early? I mean, his weapon had moved at a considerable speed! So how is it that I even managed to perform such a feat? Am I perhaps ... A god?! With a slight chuckle, Zommari began to smile. Now is my chance. I can use his advantage to make my move and take him out. Just as he had finished thinking this to himself, William states that he shall block the tontatta's next blow. A little unsettled by how perfectly timed William's comment had been with his own thought, Zommari began to shake his head a bit. Than he began to prepare for his next attack. With William still in his sights and the grass around him hiding him from the humans sight, Zommari began to rush towards the man. He had no idea as to whether or not he should execute the same attack again or as to whether or not he should just wing it. In the end, as he had been closing in on the tall human, Zommari had simply decided to wing it. Once he had been within a short range distance of the man, Zommari began to jump up into the air and perform a front flip. As he had been halfway through his front flip, he had extended his tail in order to attempt to strike the man from below. The area in which he had been aimed at had been William's chin. All while he had been doing this, a wide spread smile had been plastered on his face. This was certainly more entertaining than the training that he had experienced on brick blues isle. He could only hope that it would be more challenging. |

William didn't have the slightest clue where his opponent was, until the latter started to move through the grass that is. He totally doesn't realize that I can see the grass moving. That's kind of adorable... the Tontatta's steady advance brought a smile to the musketeer's lips, though that made his nose hurt more, so it didn't last for long. I should probably focus. he thought to himself. When the little man jumped up this time, William had enough distance off that he was able to see him move much better. Still, when he brought his sword up to guard against the blow, the timing was still a little off, just enough that William's sword happened to still be facing Zommari edge first from the side, so the doctor, worried that he might split his new friend in two, hastily removed his weapon out of the way, while simultaneously trying to dodge the blow. Still, the metal casing on the Tontatta's tail, which William hadn't noticed before, ended up grazing him on the cheek. That was close, I almost killed the guy. he thought to himself. Knowing that Zommari's normal trajectory would take him behind Will, the musketeer turned around to prevent any sneak attacks from catching him off guard. He brought his thumb up and brushed his cheek, to see how deep the wound is. It turned out not to be so deep, but he decided not to allow his face to be injured again. He could probably take hundreds of little injuries like these without issue, but that didn't mean that he should allow it to happen. "I'll get you next time." he taunted Zommari as he looked through the grass to try to locate any movement. He was determined to block the next blow without fail. |

As Zommari had been leaping through the air in order to hit William, William had quickly raised his blade in an attempt to block the tontatta from hitting him. However, just like the last time that he had attempted to do so, William had performed his task quickly and with a slight mistake. Instead of placing the blunt side of his weapon in front of himself to protect himself from the oncoming attack, he had placed the sharpened edge of the blade towards the tontatta. As Zommari had been careening through the air, his focus would be aimed towards William. In addition to the fact that his attention had been elsewhere, the iron casing around his tail had slightly obscured his vision, getting in the way of his sight when it came to William's weapon. Thankfully however, William had been able to maneuver his way around Zommari's attack, resulting in the blade to no longer be considered as a threat. He had continued on through the air and had known that something had been wrong the moment that he could see William moving around slightly through his peripheral vision. Sadly, his attack had not really come into full contact with his opponent, but he had known that it had done something. He could feel the slight tinge of force pushing against him as his tail had brushed against William's cheek. It wasn't enough to harm the human in any way, but it had been enough to leave a mark. Zommari's momentum continued to carry him through the air as his attack had simply continued onwards. Although he hadn't placed a hit on his target, he already had the built up momentum that had kept him going, thus resulting in Zommari getting thrown through the air until gravity had decided to take in effect. As it began to do so, Zommari would notice the creature that had devoured his companion earlier soaring through the skies. The creature had been rather small, perhaps around the size of an overgrown raven, but it was still considerably taller than Zommari. Upon seeing the creature, Zommari began to cringe slightly. That was at least until he had a bright idea. As his body came into contact with the ground, Zommari would perform a barrel roll and than use that momentum to throw himself back up onto his feet. With an even standing now, Zommari began to place his plan into effect. He began to let out another bird whistle, just as he had done earlier on the ship, and began to gather the attention of the seagull's at sea, in addition to the creature from before. Of course, Zommari had known that this would give away his location, but that didn't matter much to him in this moment. He wanted William to know where it was that he had been. With the whilst now in effect and the seagulls from the sea heading towards Zommari, Zommari began to rush towards William. Of course, with the seagulls chasing Zommari, the winged creature from before would chase after the seagulls, thus resulting in a wide array of creatures to be heading towards Zommari. As he continued to rush towrads William, he began to smile and let out a few words to the big human. "I hope that this helps with your training big human-resu!" He than laughs a bit as he rushes towards the space between the big humans legs. The plan was to rush through the mans legs, leaving William to defend himself from the barrage of birds that had been oncoming. |

The musketeer had been very interested to hear Zommari produce a rather pleasant sound, and then observe as a small colony of seagulls came rushing towards them. Meanwhile, Zommari himself was running through the grass towards the space between William's legs, no doubt to bring the birds down on him. In the vulture's mind, lesser birds were of no consequence. He would certainly not let them distract him from his goal. Still, he kept the corner of his eye on them, absentmindedly surveying how far they were, while keeping the better part of his attention on the Tontatta. Completely focused, he stood motionless for a moment, and waited till the right moment was upon him, before he flipped his rapier in his hand, so that the blade would face downward, and then brought it down with all his might, planting it in the ground, right in front of Zommari, hoping that he would run into it head first in his momentum and hopefully break his nose too. Regardless of whether Zommari face planted into the rapier, William then focused his attention on the birds, who were getting much closer now. It was then that he noticed the air born predator following the seagulls, and got an idea. His body started getting smaller right away, as bird-like features replaced human ones completely and he found himself hovering above the ground on his two wings, completely transformed into his inner vulture. He flapped his wings to gain some momentum, and managed to maneuver between the seagulls with blinding spped, throwing sharp feathers towards each and everyone of them with every flap of his wings, until he reached the predator bird. It was an easy thing to swiftly take the other bird in his beak by the neck. None of these birds were small enough to present any kind of challenge. Returning towards Zommari to see what became of him, he said: "Thank you, that totally helped. I think I have enough food for a few days too, so I can concentrate on training." as he transformed back into his human form and started taking out the feathers. He had used feathers which don't melt into poison quickly, but even so taking them out as early as possible was necessary for the birds to be still usable as food. Techniques Used

Believing his plan fool proof, Zommari continued to rush towards William. Just as they had been doing earlier, the seagulls and their predator continued to flock towards Zommari. If things had gone correctly, William would be forced to defend himself from the birds. Of course, with Zommari's luck finally running out, he had noticed something. William had seemed completely unfazed by the creatures that had been flocking towards him! Wasn't he going to use that cool sword of his to defend himself?! Evidently not. This fact had truly frightened Zommari as he had realized that his plan may end up falling apart just as easily as it had been coming together. However, this was no way for Zommari to be thinking if he was going to end up achieving his goal of winning this sparring match. He knew that he would have to change his thought process and simply continue pushing forward. Pushing the thought of failure out of his mind, Zommari continued onwards. As he continued onwards, it became more and more apparent that he should have simply altered his idea enough to gain the upper hand once more. Seeing as how he didn't do that however, it was only inevitable that something of ill fortune would happen to him. As he continued to rush forwards, William's blade had suddenly appeared seemingly out of nowhere and into the ground before him. He had been so caught off guard by this fact that he ended up digging his feet in the ground the moment that he had processed what it was and where it had come from. The friction from doing so had caused Zommari to lose his footing, eventually leading to him tripping himself up and flying head first into the flat side of the blade. With as much momentum that had been built up behind not only his previous movement, but the trip as well, there had been no avoiding it. Once his face had come into contact with the flat side of the blade, Zommari ended up breaking his nose and being repelled from the blade. The repulsion had been enough to cause Zommari to fall on his back, forcing him to look up at William. Truth be told, Zommari had been a little peeved off with William in this instant. Not only had he been far stronger than Zommari had been expecting, but he had been the reason that he had broken his nose. If he hadn't been in so much pain, he honestly would have began screaming at the man. The pain hadn't been horrible, seeing as how he couldn't feel much of his nose now as it had lost its feeling, but it had still been something that he wasn't necessarily enjoying. Thankfully, both the pain and the previous events leading up to it had been washed away for a brief moment as Zommari began to see something that was truly life changing. The man whom had just stood before him began to shrink in size and grow bird like features, soon completely transforming into that of a vulture. His eyes had gone wide as he had noticed such a feat, and a sincere look of admiration had began to cross his eyes. That's amazing! He just became a bird-resu! He must be a devil fruit user~ I have never met one before-resu! With his transformation complete, William began to flap his majestic wings and take off. The gust from the flap had felt like a gale of wind to Zommari, but he had been so amazed that he hadn't even cared. Once in the air, William began to shoot out his feathers towards the other birds, taking them out of the sky and possibly ending their lives. The awesomeness that had been occurring only continued as William soared through the falling birds and directly towards the winged creature from before, catching the creature by the neck in his beak! Zommari had no words for what he had just witnessed. None besides the fact that that had truly been amazing. Once William had flown on down from the skies and became human once more, Zommari would rush to the man to tell him exactly that. He still had a wide smile and a look of admiration in his eyes as he had approached the big human. That look of admiration had only grown as William began to thank Zommari for helping the man obtain food for the next week or so. "That was freaking amazing! I have never witnessed the powers of a devil fruit user before-resu! No wonder you are so strong and fast. Your a bird!" Zommari than began to laugh as he leapt up from the ground and onto the man's jacket, soon climbing up the jacket and onto the man's shoulder. "I must say William-resu, that was by far one of the most exhilarating moment that I've had since I've become a marine~ I am so glad that I met you-resu. Thank you so much for all the time and training that you have helped me achieve-resu." His smile had stayed as he began to look down towards William's hands, or more specifically, the feathers in them. "Would you mind if I took one of those amazing feathers of yours with me as a momento-resu? It would be a great reminder of this day and I will surely never forget you this way-resu." As he had asked the man this question, he had simply been hoping for the man's answer to be yes. |

"Well thank you very much, but I was just as amazed that you are so skilled at calling for birds." the musketeer responded to the first wave of praise, as he watched the little fellow climb his coat. Even while being showered with praise, William couldn't help but be a little glad that he saw a bit of blood on Zommari's nose, not truly out of pettiness, but more out of pride that he'd been able to pull off such a great feat of accuracy. "I think that you helped me improve more than I helped you. But I'm glad you enjoyed sparring with me." William was genuinely glad he met Zommari as being put in exceptional conditions such as was the case in this fight was exactly why he had come to Little graden. William crouched and picked up one of the smaller feathers from the floor. It was already shinning with wetness, which meant that it had begun to wilt away into toxic goo. "I'm afraid that my feathers don't stay the same." he extracted a small vial from inside his coat, and crammed the feather inside, then closed the lid tight. "When this melts away, it will become poison. Don't touch it, you can use it later on a strong pirate if you want to weaken them and catch them." At that moment the doctor inside William finally remembered that they should both get their noses fixed. He started with his own nose. The echo of the crunching sound produced by his nose after he put it back in place revebrated through his head. He then produced a vial of ointment from his coat and put some on it, as well as on the cut on his cheek. Tending to Zommari's nose had required him to be more delicate, but that was made easier by the fact that he could see what he was doing clearly. Looking at all the birds he had managed to catch, William had himself a good idea: "Hey, let's grill some of these birds and have ourselves a banquet." |

Zommari had soon grown tired of standing on the man's shoulder, seeing as how he had honestly just exerted the majority of energy, so he had decided to simply sit down on the mans shoulder instead. As he had done so, William began to speak up about the matter of Zommari receiving a feather. Once he had explained that his feathers don't exactly stay the same, Zommari began to frown. Mixed in with his frown had been a look of bewilderment. What does that mean exactly..? Am I not able to receive one of his feathers? And what did he mean by 'they change'? Zommari had been rather disappointed and honestly just curious as to what he meant by the fact that his feathers change. That was at least until he decided to elaborate on the situation a little more, stating that his feathers melt away into a poisonous substance over time. Zommari had been rather shocked about this entire ordeal, causing his frown to grow stronger and his eyes to become filled with that shock. "They melt away into poison! That's so dangerous! But than again ..." This was when the frown on his face began to grow into a smile. "That's amazing-resu! Not only can you turn into a bird, but a poisonous bird?! How cool is that-resu?!" He than began to laugh a little, up until the point that William had begun to place a single feather into a vial that was about the size of Zommari himself! Zommari's eyes had gone wide with excitement as he had witnessed this. This was because of the fact that he had automatically assumed that this was going to lead to him receiving those one of those amazing feathers. The moment that William had actually begun to hand over the vial, that moment had been all the better. "Thank you so much-resu!" With the vial now in his hands, he begun to embrace it with a mighty hug. Without even realizing it, he had applied a little too much pressure, causing a small crack to develop in the tip of the vial. Once he had heard that cracking sound, Zommari had seized his hugging and began to place it underneath his foot, on Williams shoulder. This was so that he could take off his shirt to use it as some kind of belt to support the vial on his back. Once he had taken it off completely, he had decided to make that plan a reality by picking up the vial and placing it behind his back, than using his shirt as a belt to support it. With that matter out of the way, Zommari had than given the big human a thumbs up with a rather large smile and than he had leapt from off of the mans shoulder and down onto the ground. Once his feet had come into contact with the ground, William had begun to speak of putting together a feast with the birds that he had just killed. This prospect had clearly gained Zommari's attention, seeing as how his stomach began to grumble upon hearing the man speak of such things. Embarrassed by the sound of his stomach, Zommari began to laugh a little and than decided to give the man a thumbs up once more. "Sounds good~ I only request that you allow for me to eat the one that you caught in your beak earlier-resu. Little thing tried to eat me earlier, so now I am going to eat it." He than began to laugh once more. |

"You got it man! hahahaha" William chuckled out of amusement from Zommari's desire for revenge. Picking up his rapier finally, William set out walking towards a clearing he could distinguish nearby. "We should find a spot where we can set up a decent cookfire without getting blinded by the smoke." As things stood, there were too many trees around them, even if they were quite high. "Try to pick up any dry twigs that you might find." William followed his own advice and gathered as much dry wood as he could on his way towards the area clear from trees. When they arrived at the spot he had spied from afar, he said: "I think this place will do just fine." In truth William had a second reason to want to get away from that spot, and that's the fact that it will be swarmed with feather-quagmires soon, but he didn't want to attract Zommari's attention to that. "I will build the fire, and you remove all the feathers from the birds." As the doctor started building the fire, he figured it was time to ask the question he was interested in asking since he met his new friend: "So hey, are there many people like you? Tontatta I mean... I have heard of the giants, and fishmen and mermaids, but never Tontatta, the place where you come from must be pretty far huh?" Soon, there was a fire burning i the middle of the clearing, so William assembled the nearest rocks around and surrounded all the wood with them. He then went again towards the trees and cut some conveniently shaped pieces. By the time the fire was properly crackling he had contructed a crude spit to use for roasting the birds. Placing some of the birds on the spit, he said: "I think I worked up a good sweat. I can't wait to sink my teeth into these." |
