After their mighty flee from Cactus Island, the two boats sailed almost joyfully across the Grand Line. Their luck had been amazing over the course of the last few days. They had only moments of rain, no tsunamis or huge thunderstorms to threatened sinking the limping Dawn Challenger. She was still in need of repairs, but the days of mild weather did allow them time to patch the most immediate dangers. Supplies from the nemo were a great help as well. So as a while, they were doing just fine.

“Captian. The next island appears to be up ahead, but I don’t see it on the map”, one of the mooks said as he walked up with a navigational map. Blade took it for a moment, his past years as a navigator being put to work with ease. He looked at the water flows, it circled. So even if the map didn’t say there was an island, there was. Blade handed the map back to the mook without a word and descended the stairs to his chambers. Slowly, the mook followed him. Blade walked to his desk, and pulled out an old map, so dark from age it was nearly illegible. He pointed at a island on the old map, “It’s called Little Garden. A land lost in time or something, I can’t read the description. Perhaps Jackery knows about it.”, Blade looked over his shoulder, “Send a message to the nemo. We’re going to dock there. At the very least, we can replenish supplies and get more wood for the Challenger.”, he put the map back. The mook was gone before the heavy drawer even closed.

Blade looked around his room, it was plain, with nearly nothing inside except for some wanted posters on the wall. Everyone else seemed to have decorated their rooms, but his was still so bare. He imagined what he would put in here, maybe he’d put a hammock instead of a bed, or start collecting trophies and decorate shelves. The sound of steps above him snapped him back to reality. He sighed, simply closing the door behind him. The time spent at sea had also given them all time to heal. Blade had a nasty scar from where he had been completely ripped apart by that hair, but it didn’t hurt. He could move and shift without pain, and he didn’t even have a limp anymore. In the distance, he smelled something delicious. Then again, one didn’t need a wolf’s nose for that sort of thing.

Blade walked into the dining area, they had enough time to eat before docking. He picked up plates and started to set the table. He didn’t look up, in case Blair was cooking. He still avoided her, and he could see his shameful face reflected in the clean plates as he set them. He’d rather face a thousand enemies then talk to Blair. He was still haunted by the fool he had made of himself.

It's been some time before their departure from the Cactus island. They had a pretty lucky faith, to avoid getting spotted by Marines or other vile parties alike. Their ship was not in the best condition right now, but was still sailable.. Wolf spent some time in the Dawn Challenger recuperating from his injury. It's been a tough time, but thanks to Ant he pulled through.. It almost made him not barely stand up and rearrange his medicine again, well almost. Training has been rough on him, as his body was not able to withstand the intensity he used before, but he needed to get stronger to be able to save everyone in case something like this happens. His last injury made him more of a burden on Ant, than his savior, and next time this mistake might be fatal for one of his crew mates not just him.. After few days on his feet, he was still shaky on his feet but he needed to get some fresh air. Getting topside, Wolf began stumbling alongside the deck looking at the open world they have yet to explore. The first challenge he faced, the dreadful attack of the bounty hunters was harsh, but he survived. He sighted at the though, leaning on the main mast, the fight's he has been through rushing through his head. He couldn't clearly remember, as in some fight's his mind would go hazy. Well memory loss was just the thing he wanted to worry about now... Suddenly footsteps were herd heading to the top deck.

He didn't turn around, knowing by those harsh steps it was the capt. Overhearing the conversation he had with the mook, he interrupted him as he walked away from Blade. "Mind if I go deliver the message to Jackery? Want to go see how things are there as well.." is what he said but Wolf wanted to go check on Jackery for himself. It was troublesome for him to be alone on that ship, as he still wasn't so convinced Jackery had no intentions of handing them off to the marines.. The mook stumbled on his words, didn't know if he should but Wolf wasn't really looking for an answer. Brushing past him, he jumped off to a longboat that was being released down, midst air waving him off. The Nemo wasn't that far away, but it kept it's distance. Arriving closer, he hoped that the Nemo crew would recognize him and not fire, but just in case he started waving and asking them to let them board the ship. "I have a message for the captain from the captain..." but well in their case Jackery would be the captain, still he couldn't but not laugh at his own joke..

The fold out desk in Jackery's cabin was covered in a complete mess of papers which was completely out of character for him but the limited space and his frustration led to this situation. The problem was simple, the damage the ship had taken escaping from the last island could not be properly repaired without a properly equipped shipyard, whether at sea or at their destination which was a nearly uninhabited there was not going to be any chance at all to fix the vessel. The knock at his door was a welcome distraction from the headache and Jackery called the crewman in as he put the papers back into their ledger and locked it shut before directly addressing the sailor and being told about the arriving vessel.

A message from the other vessel's captain, it had to be something important if they couldn't simply signal it over. Ordering that the boat be brought aboard Jackery made sure he was presentable before leaving his cabin and going onto the deck. The thickest smell up here was of fresh paint, even if the damage could not be properly repaired the scars could be covered up. The forward turret had taken a direct hit from a six inch gun of a marine escort vessel which had started a fire that had almost detonated the ammunition brought up from the magazine.

Turning his head he looked towards their destination, visible on the horizon with the most striking feature being the volcano, currently erupting as it would every hour according to Jackery's documentation on this place. The entire island downwind of the eruption looked dead, the constant buildup of soot and ash would quickly kill off any plants that tried to grow there and bury anything else. A sound interrupted his inspection and Jackery turned as the boat holding Wolf was lifted aboard. "Welcome aboard the Nemo. You have a message for me from the commodore?"

Ant was grateful for the relatively good weather. After all the bad luck they had endured recently, it was refreshing to have something good happen to them for once.

Not that Ant was in a particularly good mood, he had been ousted from one of the places he felt he belonged. A place where he ensured the crew had the optimum nutrition for their age, weight, height, sex, activity levels and general health. The kitchen. Ever since Blair had cooked that one meal on the way off Catus Island people seemed to have decided that she should be the one in the kitchen cooking just because her food tasted nicer. He was a little sore over the whole issue, given the hours of work he put into calculating everybody's requirements, and how he planned each shopping list to the ounce as to avoid wasting food.

At least he could still be a doctor, even if Wolf was still being an ass with rearranging medicine. One thing was for sure if he hadn't still been recovering, he would have received the mother of all beat downs instead of the punch he did. Ant himself had more or less made a full recovery, even his pride had recovered from getting his ass kicked by a girl. It was partly thanks to the fact that it seemed nobody knew except him. If Wolf, Blade or even Blair knew he'd never hear the end of it.

He'd overslept this morning, he wasn't being lazy, quite the opposite actually, he'd just been up too late the night before studying. He woke up to find himself face first in a book. He quickly washed, before pulling on a pair of jeans. Apparently, the island they were headed to was very tropical so he wasn't going to wear a shirt in sweltering heat.

Still a little asleep and with messy hair that had just been dried he walked into the dining area, grabbing some food as he did. He sat opposite Blade, nomming on some food as he said a friendly

"Morning cap"

Deciding it was best to finish his mouthful before he carried on, Ant did just that

"I heard some rumours about the island we're heading towards. If even half of it is true the ship's medical supplies will be getting a big boost.... and our pantry"

He took the rumours and mentions in the medical books about the island with a punch of salt. But if even half of it were based on fact even if not entirely truthful, he would still be in for a nice boost. Natural medicine could be quite effective if wielded right. Especially when stopping off at a drug store wasn't always easy as pirate, given the rather eventful nature of their lives. Ant wasn't comfortable buying from the illegal sellers either, he didn't want to risk the lives of his crew on drugs from an unknown source with no regulations. Probably from the same people who sold drugs to people for the sake of getting high too, so they couldn't necessarily be trusted to say the least.

The seas had been calm, the sun had been long, there was very little in terms of confrontation for the past few days; it was days like these that Blair was able to lie back and relax. On the deck of the ship, a pair of shades resting over her eyes, Blair allowed the peaceful day to shine down on her. In her hands, she held a copy of a newspaper, detailing the fearsome exploits of various pirates across the seas. They were in turbulent times, what with Bright-Eyes having launched a failed attack against Enies Lobby, Arcadia being broken out of jail by former Shichibukai Igloo and her subsequent disappearance. Looking up into the sky above, the Merchant wondered what it'd be like to have a mind like that of the super-genius Ex-Warlord Arcadia. Shaking her head, she realised that certain things will be beyond her own talents.

With a soft sigh, the Merchant arose from her seat off of the deck of the ship and proceeded to enter the interior of the vessel. As she walked along the wooden flooring, she couldn't help but admire her own work in cleaning the ship up. Ever since she began sailing the seas, she had earned her place as chief deck swabber, never allowing there to be a speckle of dirt left. Entering the kitchen, she noticed that a few mooks were already having a go at the food she had prepared for them. Shaking her head to herself, she was glad that her position as the crew chef had usurped that of Ant's. Blair had nothing against her long time friend, but she wasn't interested in consuming the disgusting mess that he had a tendency to create.

As she grabbed her own plate, she took some of the food that had been prepared, a supplement of mashed potatoes, meat and a light amount of green vegetables. As she did this task, she asked the crew men behind her without turning her head, "The island we're headed too, anyone know what it is? I didn't hear enough about this Route to know about all of the islands that we might come across..." she trailed off, noticing how the men became somewhat more stiff and rigid. Turning, she saw the blue haired captain of the crew taking his own helping of food without turning to greet her.

Following this was Ant, who appeared to be far too tired to notice her presence. Crossing her arms, her plate in one hand whilst a ladle sat in the next. Giving both men a stern expression, she finally let out a soft sigh before taking her food back outside. She didn't want to cause a scene in front of the crew, especially since it was her job to prevent such outbursts from happening to the Captain. Leaving the two zoans to their chatter, she exited once again to see the young Wolf attempting to contact the Nemo. Sighing once again, it appeared that everyone had someone else to hang out with. Laying back down along her lawn chair, she allowed herself her moment of peace.

"Seems to be some deserted island up ahead, nothing to be worried about," she told herself before starting into the food.

"It's not noted very well on some of the newer maps we have. But, my older maps call it little garden. There was a note too, calling it the Isle of Beasts. How odd. I wonder what sort of beasts live on such a place. I'm sure Jackery knows.", Blade said as he sat down to eat. Ever since Blair started cooking, there were less and less cases of food poisoning and other less then idea nutrition . Any did try, for what it was worth. And Blade knew he wouldn't be much better. Blade herd Blair sigh at them, and he looked over at her. He felt horrible immediately as she walked away, and as she did, his eyes drifted down to his already mostly empty place. He shoveled the rest in his mouth and stood up sharply. Enough was enough.

"There is a book or two in the medical room about obscure and rare diseases. See if you can find anything of worry originating from the island. It should be hard, Chapter 8 in the Grand Line Medical Journals lists diseased by location and island.", he washed his plate himself and walked out after Blair.

He found her without a problem at all; and casually walked up next to her as she sat in the chair and ate. Blade pulled up a cargo box and sat on it next to her. "The food is delicious Blair. But", he paused for a long moment, "that's not why I'm here.", he turned to look down at her. "You didn't have to leave the table you know...", he scratched his head as his nerves began to take over. For a moment, he wasn't the big bad zoan who took pleasure in killing, or the wolf that devowered men. He was acting shy, timid, human. "I can't avoid this forever. And you don't deserve to feel like an outsider. We need to settle this between us. And I guess I should start by saying I'm sorry, for how you've had to feel this whole time. "

Wolf really enjoyed spending some time on the boat, looking down at his own reflection, whilst moving his hands through the water. He felt at peace, for the first time in a while.. He couldn't help but get lost in his thought's. They were mostly of the happy things that he experienced with his old capt and the Fangs. Admittedly, they were not all happy occasions, but it lead them here and that was the one thing he was grateful for.. but for some reason he had trouble remembering his childhood. It struck him, that not once after leaving his old life he could remember much of it. It's like the pathways to those moments were blocked, and he wanted to find a way to grasp them.

Giving a final stroke, his image slurred in the water as he looked up. Approaching the large vessel, that is the Nemo, he couldn't feel but unease. He was still puzzled, as why is Jackery still with them and why is he helping the crew. What did he stand to gain really? He had a superior vessel, a large enough crew on his own and a bounty to match.. Well, never the less he came here to check things out and relay the message. Bringing his boat aboard, midair everything shook a tad, as a giant eruption was to be seen from the direction of an island. Mesmerized by the view, Wolf felt excited for some reason. Was it the danger of that island that will bring new challenges to the crew or was it just his crazy idea to go and look up close into the volcano? Never the less, Jackery interrupted his thought, with a greeting. Like waking up from a nightmare, Wolf snapped out of it and almost lost balance. Pretending like nothing happened, he stepped aboard.

"Is this ship bigger every time I see it?" he spoke with a smile as he approached Jackery. "That island will be a fun adventure, I just see it. Can't whait to dock and explore.. I hope it's not as dull as the last one thought.." he stopped as he saw Jackery's look. ".. oh right, right." clearing his throat, he made a nasty face and deepened his voice, continuing speaking like a poor imitation of Blade "The island that we are about to dock is Little Garden, lost in something something. We are going to dock there to get food.. and other stuff. Oh and also, give Wolf something to eat. We are running low on meat and he gets cranky if he doesn't get his meat".

Jackery nodded to Wolf, not only was it expected that the other captain was planning to do some repairs here it would be all but required. The trip had been hard on the Bluefang's vessel considering the damage they had taken before with no chance to dock and perform repairs. "Very well, the Nemo will remain alongside the Dawn Challenger until a suitable beach is found to run your vessel aground and pull it out of the water for proper repairs. Then I will offload some of my crew to assist yours with repairs while I scout the rest of the coastline for a settlement to raid for further supplies. Since there's no settlements listed in the ledgers I captured with this ship I won't expect much, we'll likely have to make lumber kilns to season wood for structural replacements."

He did not mention that the first job those structures would be doing would be to make charcoal for the Nemo's refueling. Given that the marines were mostly after him there was little sense in Jackery staying at this island and just endangering everyone else. Given that the Grand Line routes were the same for everyone he had little expectation that the navy had not bothered to send ships from both ahead and behind. "As for food, the mess hall was hit during the battle and the serviceable areas are being used as extra infirmitory space. Food is available from the kitchens, this time ask to be served and do not enter the supplies area as after your last visit the cooks informed me that next time you go in there they will carve you up for roasts. Given our limited supplies right now I do not believe the crew would question the sudden addition of fresh meat back to the menu." While it sounded like a joke Jackery did not actually doubt the cook's threat although he was not sure about the crew being so willing to turn to cannibalism. The slow sailing speed the Nemo had maintained to avoid outpacing the Dawn Challenger to reach here had given ample time for fishing to suppliment the stocks of salt meat, hardtack and dried vegetables they had managed to purchase on the last island.

An island that hadn't been explored much recently was certainly exciting. It meant that the books he had already read wouldn't necessarily be complete. He'd have to take cuttings and samples from various plants and root to experiment with. He'd have to take a lot of samples though if he hoped to be able to use it to help the crew. Paying people to go to the island to pick stuff up would be expensive really, and Ant didn't want to waste crew money on things that are only potentially useful.

He nodded to Blade when given his task, he had read it over in the past but it couldn't hurt to reread it. It was hard to learn, retain, and use all the medical knowledge he had acquired and was still acquiring. It was a task made even harder by the fact that the Grand Line was a place of such diversity in its ecology, in the Blues disease prevention and resource availability was thankfully fairly uniform.

It was surprisingly easy to not notice somebody when you were hungry and quite tired. Blair's soft sigh attracted Ant's gaze, she didn't look pleased. She looked cute but she didn't look pleased. Whilst in the past he would have flirted with Blair, he knew now that the captain had his eyes on her. He knew Blade probably wouldn't kill him anymore, but something worse would happen, he would be upset inside.

He left Blair and Blade to themselves an made his way over to the medical room. He pulled the Grand Line Medical Journal from the shelf, it was quite a large book, to say the least. He was pretty sure that had he not been strong enough to at least not die in the Grand Line, he wouldn't be able to stability lift and move the book the way he was.

He flicked through the pages, adding a few notes to the pages as he went along. Well, this was going to be a busy few days. Ant grabbed his leather bag, packing various sample bottles, basic medical supplies and some extra sharp scissors for taking samples. All that was left was for him to prepare his weapons.

The sound of the captain approaching Blair filled the deck, his heavy footsteps being something that she could pick out among a crowd without much of a problem. Lying her head back along the back of the seat, her eyes trailed up to look directly up towards the blue haired captain. Raising a brow of her own, she listened to Blade as he tried to explain his own situation, the girl watching as the man acted far more human that he usually did. When she had first met him, he was more like the animal that he transformed into than a regular human being; now though, she could tell that he was doing his very best to be completely genuine with her.

With a soft sigh and a nod, Blair closed her eyes before giving her own reply. "I understand, and I'm sorry for not trying to fix things earlier," she stated, slowly opening her eyes again to look into Blade's own eyes. "I know things have been difficult, especially with the fight with the Doctor, but we're a crew. I know that when push comes to shove, I'm not an outside and you should know that I've got your back through thick and thin," Blair explained, her tone rising to a happier tune as she went along.

Putting the bowl to one side, she hopped off of her chair and leaped at the man, embracing him for a moment. "There, that's as good as any handshake," the Merchant grinned. Turnign to face the island, noticing the massive volcano that protruded from its vast, forested landscape, Blair could only whistle in appreciation. "Almost there," she nodded, crossing her arms and turning towards the mooks that scurried around the deck. "Attention all of ye land-lubbers! Get ready to land, since our destination is almost upon us! I want there to be no hiccups, as we're entering uncivilised territory! If I find any of you messing about, I'll personally see to it that you swim to the island ahead of us!"

Blade listened to Blair, and she didn't seem to really get the point he was trying to make. But, as long as she seemed to forgive him, he wouldn't push the issue further. He looked forward as well, the volcano ahead was approching, and they would be docking in only a few moments. Already, he was starting to plan out what to do. They needed supplies, food, medician, and they needed to chop and press wood for the boat. They had some primer below deck, and it wouldn't be pretty, but any sort of strong cured wood would be better then their ship going down in the ocean.

As the ships ran along the shore, Blade got up from his seat. He wondered what was on the ship, as they arrived, he noticed two giant skulls on the island. His eyes narrowed, and for a moment, he thought he saw a shine come from inside the skull, but it was only a flash, and Blade just gave up on it after a moment. He sighed, turning away and continuing his own tasks. The mooks feared Blair's warning, and even Blade hesitated. If him or Ant went in the water, their stories would end right here. He muttered to Blair as he walked past. "You know Ant and me can't swim right?", he said simple enough. But, it was important that if she didn't know, she did now. After all, if anything happened, Blade couldn't save Ant and vise versa.

As they came up on the island, Blade spotted a web of river deltas, splits in the river that meet the ocean. They were huge, big enough for even the nemo to go inland. Blade walked to the wheel, it was still broken too mostly. They had rigged a pole in the turn gears, but it seemed like this ship was one storm away from sinking. Blade grabbed the pole, and guided his ship inward. Only a few feet in, the thick forest consumed their surroundings. Large shadowed creatures ran along the trees, and bird he had never heard before screamed overhead.

They continued down the river. The river was long, and streached well into the depths of the island. Finally, they hit an area that was to narrow for the nemo, and Blade nudge the ship to the banks, dropping anchor and setting out the wallboard. This was pretty far in too, well enough that their ships were hidden to anyone passing by. The challenger could have gone much further inward, but he did not want to abandon their sister ship.

With the walk board out, Blade looked at his crew. "Blair. We need food, you've got a good eye for that stuff.", he pointed to the west, "Ant. Try to pick some herbs that you may have found in the book. As far as our crew goes, were in constant need of medical supplies.", Blade pointed to a thick area with large shrubs that got some good amounts of sunlight despite the thick canopy, " I will go and try to find large enough trees to cut down and make temporary boards for the ship. Each of you will get five underlings. I'm sure Jackery has Wolf running around like a deck hand. Don't go more then a mile away from the ship, if anything happens, yell. I don't know what's in this island...", he gazed into the trees. He felt them being watched already.

Maybe it wasn't the best Blade impression, but it kinda worked. Clearing his throat he smirked, thinking how his little plan worked brilliantly. Saluting to Jackery, kinda goofing of Marine's salute form, placing his hand on top of his forhead facing forward like he was cheeking if he had a fever. And thus a light bow followed, as he started walking away. He tried to took note if the captains facial expression changed after that mockery, he felt as those people hold the salutation in high regard, but alas he didn't catch even a glimpse. "Now if I remember correctly, the kitchen should be through here" he spoke to himself, as this ship was so big one could easily get lost. Heading into the hallway of the ship, the aroma peaking through, calling forth to his senses Wolf made sure he closed it. It would be a tragedy if others had an idea to go eat at the same time as him, as some might say they wanted that perfectly grilled chicken wing for themselves even if Wolf had his eye on it first.. Thinking of plenty of dishes he has to experience yet he hopped in his step through the ship following the scent of freshly cooked meat. Even in his little fantasy world, his gaze still followed other mooks that moved through the ship carrying out orders given to them. From the outside, the Nemo looked better than it actually was. There was internal damage done and seemingly every mook was running about, disregarding this rich smell. A eager thought popped to him, as he stopped rubbing his chin as if in deep thought. If they are all so busy than he coul.. he stopped as his stomach interrupted him. "Haha, I get it, you have the say first" he spoke as he patted his stomach.

In the last couple of days his abs were more defined and, not like it bothered him that much as we all know the ladies love them stomach protectors, but he has been a little underweight. Not enough food on the ship was the real problem for Wolf.. They can sink, fall apart but they shouldn't run out of meat. The only means of the mans strength is food... and proper training, determination and all that, blah blah.. Stepping into the kitchen, the full blast of aroma and flavor hit him. It was like a light breeze on a hot, summery day, that was followed by the cold and strong splash of an ocean wave. Once he collected his thoughts, his first view was of the high class and spotless kitchen. You would see many people working, either cooking or washing dishes.. Unlike the Fang's where there was dirty dishes all around the ship let alone the kitchen. Oh and don't get started on the food, with Blair taking over for now they had a breather, but Ant will be back. He will take his top spot as the meal prepare of the ship once again. Wolf felt it in his gut and he really didn't want to feel his cooking in his gut again.. As he got greeted by the mooks that look like regular chefs, he spoke "Mind if I?" It was just a polite way to say give me food, but really he just went for the big pot disregarding their chatter. Reaching his hand to it, he was once again greeted, but this time by a sharp object slashing, just barely missing the tips of his fingers. Spooked, and scared for a second he pulled his hand and brought it closer to his face, as he was zooming in to see if he was missing a finger or two. He exhaled hardly from relief, once he thoroughly examined the matter at hand.. "Next time you do that, I will cut off your fingers and make kebabs. Got it?" the figure standing next to him said, with a deep and a grumpy voice. Raising his head, he could tell it was the head chef. How did he know? Well the old geezer had a big hat, a big belly and an even bigger moustache. Oh, and also the marking that said "Head Chef" but Wolf liked to think himself acute.

"Didn't mean no harm there, and I'd take you didn't either as I would hate to bring this up with Jackery later on. I will get out of your hair.." he said as he looked closely, with a couple of strands poked from within the cooks hat. Couldn't feel but chuckle he would than speak again "I got an order straight from your captain to give me food to replenish my strength. If I am going to be working with Jackery, you want me in best possible condition, right?" Well figuring he gave enough of a stern speech he picked up a bowel, reaching with his hand and waiting to be served by the chef. The old man just grunted, whisking up a bach of cooked meat with potatoes, and splashing it into the bowl. Wolf bowed a tad, showing some respect for the man that delivered this hollynes into the world. Munching down on it he couldn't leave without having seconds.. or thirds.. After his head could think clearly, he remembered what he planed to do next. His mind still held doubt that Jackery will do more good than harm to the crew, but alas this was not the time to strike. The whole ship had his mooks running around, and as he knew they would dock soon. Stepping onto the deck of the ship, the raging volcano seemed even more terrifying than before, but as the lava rose to the top, so did the young pirate's excitement. There was a lot of things to do here, and he had no intention to give the expression that he would do some shady business and neglect his duty. The first for Jackery's sake and the later.. well he knew how Blade looked when he was disobeyed.

On the bridge of the Nemo the flash from one of the gigantic skulls had not gone unnoticed by the vigilant watchers, as the highest points of the island even above the volcano's peaks they would be the default location for someone wishing to remain undiscovered to put an observation post or base. A crewman calling for his attention pulled Jackery away from the eyepiece of the periscope rangefinder and he stepped aside while another crewman took his place observing. Another pair of crewmen were drawing out a better version of the map than had been in the Nemo's navigation ledgers which were not very accurate probably from an expectation that if a pirate captured the ship the marine crew would fail to destroy the books.

Holding out his hand Jackery received the short written note, the other ship had signaled that they intended to sail up the river before starting work, which made sense and there was supposed to be a lake inside the island. "Let them know we plan to follow them in." While the better idea would have been to tow the other ship because of its damage that would remove any chance of being able to retreat if they were sailing into trouble. The work parties should be ready to deploy as soon as a suitable beach to begin the repairs and then he would sail out again to scout the entire circumference of Little Garden. This place strongly reminded him of the Boin Archipelago although it did not give the same...impression of instant deathly danger. Maybe it was because he was onboard an almost fully decked out even if heavily damaged war vessel rather than alone on a racing yacht.

The collision alarm suddenly sounded and the lookouts shouted out 'ware to starboard!' Instantly dropping his attention from what he was doing at that moment Jackery looked to see some sort of aquatic creature had slid from its hiding place among the riverbank mud and debris to swim out at the pair of ships. "All crew to action stations, turn into it and put the Nemo between it and the creature." The animal was some sort of huge crocodile, not big enough to threaten the Nemo's strong steel hull but it would probably sink the other ship with ease.

Once he'd finished jotting down a few notes for himself, he slipped the paper into his waistband before making his way to his room. His room was really quite tidy these days, it used to be a dump but he was getting organised and he looked it,hell it even smelled nice thanks to some scented candles. He gave the firing mechanisms in each of his weapons the once over to check everything was in order. Everything in order, he latched his swords onto his keychain, and broke down his staff to secure to his waist ready to use if needs be. Only thing that was left was to load up a few clips of ammunition, strapping them to his thigh for easy access.

Cracking his neck along the way, Ant made his way up onto the deck in time to be addressed by the captain. So he was just on herb duty huh? He could take that, though he might try and bring some meat back if he could because who doesn't like meat? Apart from vegetarians and vegans but the crew didn't have any of those thankfully, that would make cooking awkward when you had to do one person a different meal.

He had underlings too, this would be fun. If they ever made it to the island that is. Ant could hear the warning sirens from the other ship and rushed over to the edge to see what was going on, well shit. Ant quickly shifted into his hybrid form and almost vanished from sight as he ran full pelt between the ships. His speed was getting ridiculous to the point where even he struggled to follow his own movements. As he was running between the ships, he front flipped, his leg slicing through the air as he launched a Rankyaku straight towards the crocodile creature's head.

No sooner had he landed on the Nemo did he back flip again, heading straight towards the beast as he drew his sword, using his sheer speed to drive his sword into the creature's head. As soon as his blade pierced the creature's skull, he fired a bullet to give it a swift end before jumping back up on the Dawn Challenger. He was slightly out of breath as he clipped his sword back onto the key ring as he shouted over to Blade "He's down but there might be more and I might not get lucky again" it was partly luck due to the fact he couldn't fully follow his own movements, but he liked to think at least half of it was raw skill.

Blade stepped up onto the desk, he had forgotten to grab an axe from the room. Honestly, he was glad he remembered before he went off. He would have had to either cut it down with his own claws, knock it down, or use his gauntlets. He watched the whole event with Ant,and he was more annoyed then anything else. If the beast was taken out by Ant, it wasn't much of a problem to begin with. Blade swung his axe over his shoulder and walked to the edge of the deck, looking down at Ant.

He raised an eye as the creature began to sink into the water. Blade grabbed one of the ropes and threw it over to Anthony. "Tie it up! I'm sure Blair can make some good stew out of it!", he called. But it was secretly a trap, with the beast secured, the moment he stepped on the deck Ant found himself in a very awkward situation.

Blade grabbed him by the ear and yanked him close. "ARE YOU STUPID!? Don't just jump off the boat you idiot! I realize you haven't been a zoan for long, but you CAN'T SWIM! All it takes is one swipe of the tail from that thing and you'd be dead. No one would go after you with that thing swimming round and you'd sink like a rock!", Blade tossed Ant against the railing.

He glared at Anthony, "I'm not interested in loosing anyone else. Stop being a show off and grow up.", he snarled and stepped away. It was the sort of scolding Blade didn't give, and it was so startling out of character. It was hard to tell if he had actually been worried, he was angry because it was a needless danger, or something else.

Blade left the ship with strict instructions to cut up the beast, and to shoot down any others that get close to the boat. The cannons cocked, and waited for anything else.
