Fitz suddenly kicked the table back, making it fly towards a few of the dressed up men. He adjusted his hat and spoke in a screeching and ill-mannered way..

"Henry, lets just get them, fix this and get a boat to get of this all peachy island of doom, alright?"

He put his hat on and looked at the people that were villains in his book, he adjusted his voice a bit until he opened it again like a teacher would to their students, at this point he had turned his head down making only his hat and mouth visible.

"Who ... Shot it out of my hand?"

He needed an excuse, or bones to be broken, he was usually a well mannered guy, but when someone declines him of his stress-assuring nicotinekick when he needed it, not even a god could save the from the inevitable pain that was coming.

He quickly dashed towards the onsee:ers and kicked two more in quick succesion, afterwards another came at him with a huge blade trying to go right for him, as he approached fitz balanced on one leg and concentrated in the other, quickly saying 100 Legs before kicking his opponent straight in his stomach making him fly away towards a few tables in the musky darkness of the cellar..

"Or what do you say pal?"

He wasn't going to let them damage this woman, even if he didn't know it yet, she was going to help them, but for now all he needed to do was save someones life that didn't deserve to be extinguished yet, far from. He looked away to Henry and saw that he was quite confused were he stood, scratching his head like a maniac, Fitz truly hoped that he understood why he did all of this, he needed answers.

Did you know that fish can smell like peaches?

Yes. Yes, they can. Awestralia has some surefire ways to drive a foreigner to drink.

Gavril has been stationed on the island for almost half a year. During this period he applied for transfer a total of twelve times. A hot climate and humidity and thunderstorms, these are no friends of a troglodyte - and after a month or so one starts to feel real frustration whenever he's served peaches. Cooked, fried, roasted, in soups, main courses and desserts. He was never one for alcohol, but this place eventually coerced him into it. It brought him closer to his boys, at least, but the peach beer, peach wine and a suspicious concoction dubbed "peachsky" didn't help with the permanent, loathsome taste in his mouth.

All his applications were denied.

He picked up the habit of choosing the seediest inns to dine out off-duty whenever he had the chance. Their advantages were numerous. They often served enough foreigners to deem leaving the peach sauce or roasted peach out of the menu forgivable and even to let him pray before the meals without weirding out. And past that, if one could listen to the conversations around him, he could catch interesting tidbits. This proved useful both with investigations and saving his own hide. The local branch of the Navy, as it quickly came to Gavril's understanding, was spectacularly corrupt, and while he was utterly disgusted with his superiors' pactices, he also knew better than to beef with them. So he ate the peachless steak and listened, and he knew when to arrest people and when not to.

Today he chose one of his favourite places. A lot of things were on his mind all day, from investigations around the city to the unusual activity of the local gun smuggling rings. He arrived in his civilian clothes, carrying his sword. Establishments like this were beyond caring about the patrons' weaponry, fortunately. He ordered, prayed then started to eat and listen. Today's conversations were unremarkable. Until the duo arrived, that is.

~ A civil war... Civil war, eh?

He watches the bet in awe. The kick is good, the fact that the waitress didn't just flip off the boy after that is phenomenal. Don't they have "helper" with a cudgel for these cases of something? Doesn't seem so... And they are off already. Well, maybe, maybe it worth a shot.

He looks around carefully and when there's no waiter in sight he picks up his sword and follows them, as quietly as he can. Well, that's not very quiet but if he keeps some distance, it'll do. And so it does. He witnesses the beginning of the fight with the "bosses" from the stairs in relative safety. The ginger did a remarkable job, Gavril had to admit. And he was talking about fixing things. They seemed amateur enough, but good guys, eh?

Gavril draws his sword and jumps down the rest of the stairs. After a floor's worth of falling he lands near Henry, the tip of his blade leaving a crack in the cobblestone.

"Weapons down or there will be a massacre." - he exclaims in the calmest of voices while slowly moving to cut the "bosses" from the stairs. He can talk big all right after the ginger took care of most of them. - "Are you three okay?"

Fitz was sort off shocked, seeing someone else with what seems to be training background, but that doesn't mean he wasn't still mad. He wanted his nicotine rushing his blood to success just about now, especially when all this weird stuff was going down. Before thinking a second thought he instantly shouted out to the blonde man, his voice in semi shock as well as panic, he needed something.

"Ooooi! You there, you got a lighter on you? I need one quick, or else I WILL kick all these guys, no matter what you tell me.."

He was in stress as he looked over at the people in suits once again, trembling in fear for what they had seen him do to their peers. Fitz leg started to tremble, it needed something to kick, as he lost control he spinned around on one leg and kicked the other one towards a support to the roof, one of eight. As his leg went through some dust went down from the floor all over the cellar.

"Thanks for the backup by the way, right now I don't care who you are, but I need nicotine and that's quick..."

His hand started shaking a bit as he started to scratch the back of his head, all of this was crazy, he had gotten ahead of himself and risked his life in a gamble against a waitress of all people, he had dragged poor Henry into something that might be a sea wide conflict in the end unless stopped, and this man, everyone which he had put under a red flag after further investigations into what seems to be a war that will break out.

Fitz took away his hand from the back of his head and sat down, making his hat cover his face halfway down. Then he simply awaited answers, because he needed them from all fronts.

Well, Henry knew when he could sit back and watch. Fitz seemed really on edge and he didn't wanna go and be someone he kicked or anything. He just watches with the astonished waitress. The captain chuckles and rubs his head. He sure was a strong guy, that's for sure.

It seems not smoking when he was about to smoke was something that really sets him off and he was going to make sure to keep that in mind. He was kicking down men left and right, not holding back. He was a strong guy and he was glad he was on his crew. Because if he was his enemy, he'd be a bit hard to beat to be honest. He chuckles a little in thought.

He wasn't really paying attention, but maybe if he DID he'd notice a guy coming down the stairs. He yells and jumps up, stumbles a bit and falling over, staring at the man who was now in the room. He gulps and laughs nervously. Who was this guy....? Was he another foe...? His blade went through the floor, though....

He laughs nervously and stands up. "I uh.....think we're fine....but I think my friend over there might really need a lighter. he might start kicking carelessly if he doesn't...." He clears his throat a bit. "So uh......who are you exactly....?"

"I don't smoke. Nor should you. It makes you weaker." - he answers in a lecturing tone. He would not be surprised to be kicked in turn but he couldn't help it even if he wanted to, it's the officer - and cleric - speaking. Anyway, kid's got guts, that Gavril must note. He'd make fine marine material if he wasn't this irritable.

"A helping hand, at the moment. - he shoots a strict, get-yourself-together kinda glance towards Henry. If the first impression he makes puts through anything clearly, it's that he's not known for being jovial. But he said that he's a friend. That evens it out, no? No?

"All right, gentlemen! - he turns to their opponents after briefly "calming down" Henry. His tone and expression could be of a teacher talking to unruly pupils. Although the slab of a sword in his hands may ruin the effect. Teachers used smaller ones when he was a child. - "Do you have a boss, spokesman or something the like? I recommend cooperation. Our friend here is twitching already." - nods towards the ginger. If anything, the kid's kicking course must have left an impression. He can't smell human waste yet, but they're not too far away from that, not far. These suits don't seem to be used to fights too much.

There was a reason that the suits weren't in the grand line yet, they couldn't take anything without letting some of their details go, stopping entirely Fitz looked towards one of them that seemed to be staring at him and he intimidated him to the end of hell and back.

The suit fell backwards and shrieked, he was the one they needed, it was one that was scared of them more than anyone else, he was the one that was gonna give them what they needed.

"You, answer him, got anyone that you answer to? If you don't answer quick that support will be you next time.."

He said as he left an imprint of fear on the young mans face, the next second the suit threw a lighter towards him, Fitz grabbed it in midair and quickly grabbed a cigarette and lighted it, he inhaled deeply and then exhaled so you could hear his enjoyment. His face went into a grin and he was happy in those mere moments.

Afterward the suit took a rifle and shot towards him, being distracted he got hit, or well fazed by it next to his chin making it bleed. He looked towards the suit again, readying his leg, exhaling again. Before anything else happened the smell of human waste spread through the air and the man spoke :

"Please, spare me! I do have a boss, I do! Just please don't do anything-"

"Well that's just great, thanks for the light by the way, now where can we find this supposed "boss" of yours?" he said in a down letting manner as if the suit was a child stealing from the cookie jar.

"In the nearby marine ship, on the docks! He's name is .."

---BOOM---

The suit was shot by another one of them, before both of them went unconscious, that marine ship was the closest they got to figuring this out, and that was saying something. As that happened something struck in Fitz mind, what about Izoro? He should know more about this, and he seems like the guy they needed to go to again for advice.

This new guy sure was strange, that's for sure. He rubs the back of his head. He was a little nervous to talk to him and he seemed a bit....strict. He said he was a friend? But who knows for how long. He rubs the back of his head and clears his throat.

"Well....er, thanks for the help and all.....appreciate it." He laughs nervously and rubs the back of his head.

He looks back at Fitz who looked ready to snap. He was going to ask him if he was alright, but that didn't look like the best option right now. Not until he got himself a smoke, which he hoped was very soon.

"I think you guys better answer soon! You don't wanna die over this, right? So just fess up already and you all get to live a little longer." He crosses his arms and nods, smiling big.

He watches at Fitz, finally gets a lighter that he uses to start smoking. He sighs in relief and smiles softly. It was a huge relief, to be honest. Though he heard the gunshot and saw him fire at Fitz, but luckily it wasn't to bad, but still! It freaked him out!

"Hey! Fitz, you okay right?!" Though luckily the man spilled the beans a few seconds after and they had a lead! He grins big and laughs. "Yeah! We got ourselves a lead! That's how we do it!"

He flinches a bit hearing one more shot and watching him hit the ground. Well....at least they got something to work on. Henry sighs and rubs the back of his head.

"Well....at least we got something, right? Better than nothing." He lowers his sunglasses over his eyes. "So! Maybe we can gather a little more info from someone we know!"

"Marine?"

Gavril murmurs the word with a clouded expression. On a marine ship? He is overcome with worry, anger and disbelief. If this is true, he definitely should not be here... But by the looks of it it's much bigger than your everyday story about bribes and conviniently overlooked ledgers. Radiant hell, this is high treason, nothing less.

He would be very curious about the name, however, their enthusiastic informant falls before he could spit it out. Ah, well. There's still five more of them. And one more possibility, according to the shyer kid.

"We could make them talk. We probably could..." - he eyes the suits like a famished wolf does a juicy steak. Who is the so-called boss? He'd have his bets but he must be sure. Even if he couldn't prove it and it's only to save his hide.

But he's afraid they don't exactly have time here for the... rougher methods.

"Say, people, is there another exit we could use?"

If there indeed is, he'll listen to description and thanks it very formally. If not, he'll just shrug. Then he shoots a glance towards Fitz.

"Hey, red hair, lend me a hand."

Then he turns to one of the suits and nods in an it-was-nice-seeing-you manner.

"May you find peace and dreams of gloom in your sleep." - and without any further ado he strikes at the poor guy with full strength. He does not try to cut him down, only to hit him with the side of the blade, but when it's he who swings at a more or less ordinary guy that is more than enough to flatten a face. After the first suit is down he methodically continues until they are all knocked out. Nobody to scream for reinforcements might mean they could walk away without a hassle.

Old man Realto had given the young marine a vacation following the events of Shipwreck Cove, and asked him to travel to another sea, so he might be able to serve as a marine without having to look over his shoulder. It was more of an order really, but he still had the grace not to phrase it as such, and to give Dragon the choice of which sea to go to. Ice Eyes had wanted to stay and help bring down the pirates who were hounding him. A rather foolish thought in retrospect. He would be of no use against them, save for the little bit of old intel he has on them, which he was already debriefed on to the last insignificant detail. Captain Realto had been wiser, and sent him packing right away. In his last few days at base, Dragon hadn't failed to notice the looks on everyone's faces.

It was clear that the news had spread. It was clear that everyone knew that the new recruit had dragged his division to their deaths, and would put a target on the back of anyone who would work with him. It was then that he realized he should chose the farthest sea from North Blue he could think of. Of course, given that he didn't remember almost anything about the first twenty years or so of his life, the young marine was oblivious to the existence of the Grand Line - Paradise and New World alike - else he would have probably been stupid enough to chose that. Instead, he chose South Blue, the farthest sea he knew about. He was given a month to complete his travel to the new base he was assigned to. Twenty eight days have passed since then, and he has arrived to the land of peaches: Awestralia.

He could not think of a more random place Captain Realto could have sent him. Perhaps that was the point itself. Strategically, it would make no sense to send him where he could be tracked by the Iron Beard pirates. In fact, having had all this time to reflect on the captain's choices, Dragon was almost certain Realto would have fed them false information to trap them by now. It's what he would have done, if he was in charge of the situation, and didn't have any emotional investment in it.

The journey here was rather eventful. Ice Eyes was able to meet multiple ranked officers from bases around North Blue, The Red Line and South Blue. Each of the commanders had their own way of doing things, but none Dragon liked as much as Captain Realto. The old man had a very subtle way about him, a mix of level headed cunning and genuine thoughtfulness. Still, the variety of officers he met helped him disillusion himself and avoid anticipating his next set of superiors to be as great as the ones he had in North Blue.

Case in point, the ship he had arrived at, which he hasn't been allowed to leave yet, was commanded by a rather mysterious man. Ice Eyes was far from being apart of his circle of trust, considering he was merely a passenger and extra hand on deck, not part of the usual crew. Still, his sixth sense was tingling. He had spent enough time the ship of the Iron Beard Pirates to know shady behavior when he saw it. There was a secret on this vessel, he was absolutely certain of it, and he suspected said certainty was the reason he wasn't allowed to leave yet, but he was not particularly inclined to try to find out what the secret was. He was treated with enough distrust as it is, no need to poke his nose where it doesn't belong.

Well... to be technically correct... he was still sticking other parts of himself where they don't belong... Tysha was after all the only female on board, and the journey had been a long one. The way he saw it, it was unfair that the only woman on board belonged to someone else, and it wasn't his fault that she preferred him to that someone else, however temporarily. In fact, he would much rather she belonged to him.

They were in the middle of their heated afternoon 'nap' when they were interrupted by the old door of the cabin protesting heavily to being opened with a low deep creaking sound. Never has that sound been more unwelcome to Dragon's ears. The way he saw it, it could only mean that someone was about to walk in and catch them in the act.

In a sudden flash of movement, the young marine was on the extreme side of the bed, face down on the rough pillow, snoring softly and hogging all the covers as if he wasn't even aware of the presence of anyone else in his bed. Still, his ears were ready to detect any incoming danger to his person.

He was momentarily relieved to hear the creak of the door get heavier and slower and then completely change its tone as if to indicate the door closing back. It was clear to him now that only the wind had moved it. Someone must have left the door to the lower deck open again. he thought lazily as he attempted to straighten himself and look back.

In that moment of distraction, the attack came. He was greeted by the sight of Tysha's foot as she kicked him into the wall of the room. As he removed his head from the wall, all he could hear were the words: "You cowardly prick!!" before the door was slammed shut and Tysha disappeared into silence.

I don't know what she's so upset about. he thought, It's not like I'm afraid of that clown fiancee of hers. But there is just no sense in both of us losing our jobs over the mess he would make if he knew.

She has a mean kick I'll give her that. he rubbed his forehead to ease the sting. Well, at least I only have two days left on this ship. he thought mournfully. Now he only had to make it two days without sticking his nose where it doesn't belong and this ordeal would be over.

He rubs his chin in thought and hums softly. This was seriously about to get big! But what should their next move be.... He taps his chin in thought and taps his foot.

"So we knew the marines know something about this.......but what exactly do they know.....we will need more information about this..."

He blinks and watches the big strange man take down suit after suit. He rubs the back of his head. He sure was a scary guy! but also strong. He didn't want have to face him, that's for sure. "You took out all those guys so fast! You're a pretty strong guy!" He laughs loudly and gives him a thumbs up.

He really didn't want to help this guy, who was he anyway? Just jumping right into their business without saying a word, not his cup of tea. As he looked towards the knocked out suits he went over and grabbed some of them to put them somewhere else in the room as it seemed to be pretty large, bigger than the restaurant itself actually.

He threw the men further into the room and hoped that they didn't get too much of an injury of their little play. The musty cellar wasn't his ideal place to be in, plus the fact that he isn't a fan of this type of ground, doesn't give a proper and firm foothold which is what he tends to need when fighting. As smoke escaped the depths of his mouth he started to realise something, they didn't really have a plan for this, other than the fact that they knew that they were gonna see Idoro and hopefully he would know more about this whole thing. If nothing else they would just embarge unto the dreaded marine ship and kick the info out of them.

"Alright who is up for the plan of going straight into the marine ship? First we gotta see Idoro of course but afterwards.." He stopped as he was taking another buzz of his pristine and long awaited cigarette "And if they have done something to him.. Then the gates of hell are now open and will be upon them-" as he started to finish the sentence the door was opened, then Fitz realised that the girl knows too much, but they couldn't just kill her, she didn't seem to think they were great guys either exactly .

As they walked upstairs and returned to the smell of normal, everyday steak and to the creaky floor getting challenged by drunken dancers, the inns gloomy lights and the shady looks. He felt relieved to say the least, as he said his thanks to the waitress he went out of the half broken wooden saloon door while looking up in the sky after getting out, it felt like he was there for an eternity!

"Lets go to the hospital, we got an errand blonde-boy, we gotta see someone that we had a conflict with before today, then we can go and checkout the marine ship. But first things first.." he finished as he dropped the just about done cigarette to the ground before smashing it with his heel.

Gavril leans on his sword and watches patiently as the ginger handles the bodies. He did not help with knocking them out, Gavril will not help with carrying them out of glancing distance - which in his opinion is probaby pointless anyways. And he is not one for pointless things.

When the gates of hell are mentioned he jerks back nervously, then quickly crosses his fingers in front of him and for the first time he actually seems angered. He most certainly is. Mentioning hell unnecessarily, just out of the blue... As if that youngster knew what he might bring upon them with it! Light and curses and trouble, that is. Being irritable at least brings conflict you can kick yourself out of. Usually.

He helps the waitress up from the floor. Poor thing got shot at, and good guys protect civilians.

"Are you all right, sister?" - she turns away from him and does not answer but she seems okay and that's enough. A bullet grazed her and she is scared out of her socks, understandable. Most people are not used to this kind of business... Probably. On Gloom Island they tend to be. After finding their way back to the inn he thanks her as well and takes his time to properly pay for his half-eaten meal.

The program afterwards seems to be a briefing.

"Don't call people errand boys in front of them." - he notes quietly with a dreadfully blue gaze. - "Prideful people treat it awfully. Prideful people with swords are the worst." - he pauses for a second then continues. - "You are fortunate I'm not one."

It might really be. Many people would have a go at the ginger for less. But sure as Light not Gavril.

Now that Dragon was alone in the dimly lit cabin, he suddenly found it much less interesting, and found himself getting the urge to go outside. Yet, he stayed there half concealed beneath the covers. There was no need to rush. Maybe I should put on some clothes... he thought as he got out of bed and straightened up. Scaning the room for his hastily removed and scattered garments, he realized that Tysha had grabbed her own uniform on her way out without dressing properly. She must have been very upset. he reflected.

He dressed himself in the standard issue marine uniform which he was given, which no longer fit him completely, given that he almost never wore it before. Lieutenant Oshrin was rather strict when it came to dress code, so the young marine wasn't able to use the lion pelt "uniform" that he favored wearing. Not only did it hold great value to him, but it was pretty much the only reason he held to the ambition of becoming an officer, since he knew that officers were customarily allowed to dress in their own style. That is to say, one more thing he was thankful to Realto for, was the fact that he allowed him to keep wearing his favorite clothes after joining.

After dressing himself, Dragon took care to rearrange his room properly. He did not particularly care for meticulousness, but being a marine, he wasn't one to let himself be reprimanded for sloppiness either. And he partly also wanted to check if Tysha didn't leave anything of hers in the room by accident.

Being the newest temporary addition to this ship's crew, Dragon was given the room at the farthest end of the lower deck. Making his way out of the room, he was greeted by the sight of only one other open door in the corridor leading to the ladder to the upper deck: Tysha's cabin. Passing by the open door as quickly as he could, he heard the crash of some sort of heavy object into a wooden wall behind him. He didn't stop to find out what the object was, being certain that the next thing she throws at him won't miss if he did.

Instead, he made haste to get upstairs. Usually, at this time of day, most everyone would be napping, cleaning their weapons, or running special errands for the Lieutenant, yet today the ship seemed more empty than usual. Leaning on the railing, he thought about walking away into the city and joining the local marine base like he was supposed to, or yet better, playing tourist for the remaining couple of days instead of staying stuck here, but such thoughts were quickly removed from his head as he saw Oshrin coming through the docks, probably returning to the ship. Now that he thought about it, he hadn't actually come across the Lieutenant in a while now.

Henry chuckles and rubs his head as he watches Fitz take care of the suites. He crosses his arms and nods. It was a good idea to properly set them down somewhere. He nearly forgot about the poor girl stuck down with them. He felt kind of bad for her. He was hoping she was going to be okay.

"I dunno if the marines will be happy about us going to their ship, but I'm sure we can find out something interesting if we do." He grins and nods. "Once we talk to our good old friend, I'm sure we can figure things out!" He laughs and puffs out his chest a bit.

He follows him back up to the stairs and he inhales, the smell of steak once more hitting his nose and it seems it was the only thing that he was really thinking about again. He was hungry again now after all that commotion, to be honest. He groans a bit and tries to ignore it as he follows him out.

He laughs nervously and rubs the back of his head. "Why don't we all try to get along here guys! I think we're all gonna be kind of stuck together for a little bit so let's make the best of this whole situation!" He grins big.

He puts on his sunglasses and points forward. "ONWARD!!!" He starts to run forward. Then he comes running back and makes a left. "No this way!" Then he comes running back and runs to the right. "No no! This way!" He wasn't the best with directions in all honesty. He turns back to look at them and waves his arms around. "Hurry up guys!! We gotta goooo!" The captain waves his arms around and laughs loudly.
