Nakashima raised a single eyebrow mockingly as the disastrous boy in front of them declared himself captain of the pirates here. Looking over the lanky boy, Nakashima wasn't all that impressed. While a powerful aura certainly wafted from the man, he wasn't the strongest opponent he had ever come across. Any fool could tell that the man now standing in front of the thrones wasn't the true captain of these pirates. This Pirate was maimed, with a variety of weapons slung across his person. He was confident with them also, something a fellow weapon specialist such as Nakashima could tell from the comfort with which the weapons hung around his body. Roofie was used to them being there. Standing up, Nakashima left his swords sheathed, and straightened his tie he had recovered a few moments ago. Stepping into the small area the had been coincidentally cleared when Roofie had fallen from the roof of the cavern, he called the new man out on his thoughts. "You're no captain to this crew. You're far too comfortable with your weapons, and your body has been maimed from true combat, something these children didn't taste until today." Naksahima stressed the word children, although it was quite likely he was the youngest one in the room. Resting his hands on his swords. "And if by the slim margin of chance you are the captain of this crew, there's no reason to be afraid of you." Nakashima stated, with rather clear contempt for the man in front of him. He was still rather at ease, though his muscles were tense, ready for anything. Tension was in the air as Nakashima sized up his opponent. He caught a few glances of the sea of men behind him, and had to force himself not to laugh. The swordsman couldn't tell who they were more afraid of, their so called 'captain' or him. |

Raine clenched her fist and raised her eyebrows as the final commander bellowed for them to face him, only for him to suddenly fall unconscious as a rock skittered from the roof. Strange, this place had seemed rather sturdy, meaning… As if on cue, attention was brought to a smaller opponent who stood in the shadows above them, flinging himself practically from that height and sliding down the wall on… A skateboard? A moment later he arrived at the bottom in a heap, only to hop to his feet and start shouting about it being his crew. Was he for real? Motioning for Mae to slide off the arm of the chair, Raine got to her feet also, keeping an eye on this boy. Something was up with him, although perhaps it was just the fact that he was aggravating. He claimed it to be his crew, but if it was then why didn’t he step in earlier? Nakashima seemed to be thinking similarly, pointing out he was on a different level to them, which made the redhead snort a little bit, looking at the scrawny edgy boy for a bit. Yeah, he pissed her off. “More importantly… If you really are the leader of this crew… THEN TAKE YOUR SEAT AND SHOVE IT UP YOUR ARSE!” With that, the now angered woman began lifting the chair they’d been sat on. Although to most it would have looked built into the ground etcetera, it was clear from how it had been placed that it wasn’t, and even if it had have been the supports on it weren’t enough to stop her from almost suplexing the thing, and then throwing it full pelt at the boy. Whether big or small, having a large chair lobbed at you wasn’t exactly something you could ignore, especially as right behind that a raging redhead was sprinting after that. Assuming Roofie managed to get out the way of the chair, he’d have to deal with the angry lady taking a full pelt swing at his cranium, screaming abuse at him as she closed in. Meanwhile, with the chair now gone, something had been revealed to the rainbow haired girl known as Mae, something that intrigued her. A brightly coloured fruit lay on the floor, orange and partnered with a deep black stem. Leaning down she picked it up, surprised by the weight to it. Whatever it was, it seemed rather dense. That meant it was full of nutrients, right? She took a quick smell of it, quickly regretting it as she held it away from her face. Perhaps she’d hold onto this and show Raine, once she was done with this fight here. Even to her it was clear the boy had no chance, especially with a fiercely angry woman and a large chair headed his way. Alas, she still decided to ready an arrow, just in case something did go wrong. If he were to manage to get out the way of the other two attacks, the boy would also find a brightly coloured arrow headed towards him, aimed at his neck. |

Roofie stared at Nakashima and the females as they easily deduced he wasn’t the true captain of the crew. He wasn’t completely lying though as he did hold the title of ‘3rd Commander’. After he and Shugo nagasaki took down the KKK he was offered a spot in the new, reformed KKK; The CCC. At first he had no interest in being a part of a crew, but the deeper he went into the Grandline, the more he began to realize that he’d need a partner if he wanted to take down Banks. With Shugo missing though, he had no choice but to join a pirate crew in hopes of using them for his own goal. But clearly it fell through. Roofie looked back at the men around him as some ran into the tunnels and others just uivered in fear. These men would help him take down Banks? These ”GRUNTS?!” shouted Roofie in anger, causing the once quivering men to also escape into the tunnels. Sighing deeply, Roofie turned back to his opponents. He smiled upon seeing Nakashima, the 80 million bounty pirate. He has had his eye on the samurai ever since his misadventures in the United Teriyaki States. Him and Sylvia. The loud mouthed female and her friend were completely unknown to Roofie as their strength had yet to be seen. Roofie watched as the woman got into a squatting position as if lifting something off of the ground. Due to his strange vision, he was not able to see whatever as being lifted but could easily guess as he has been to this location several times. Plus...she did kind of just say he should take his seat back...so there was that. Raine would chuck the chair at full pelt towards Roofie, slightly impressing him. He wanted to make her ‘fall’ before she did anything but as stated before, he was unsure of the woman’s strength. While lifting a chair isn’t anything special, it was certainly something to take note of. Which Roofie did. Roofie pulled out a small paper and pen from his pocket, writing the words ‘Loud girl can lift a chair. Cool.’ He’d then stare at his hand upon finishing his note, unable to see the paper he had written on due to his acute blindness. Looking up as the chair neared him, Roofie would turn his head and speak to Nakashima. ”Hey, when you guys are done playing, would you mind reading that piece of paper for me? I want to make sure I didn’t misspell anything. Thanks.” He didn't misspell anything. Once he finished talking, he’d pop another piece of gum in his mouth and turn back towards Raine and the chair. Cancelling Kami-E, the chair would be only centimeters away from Roofie before he disappeared due to a Soru technique, touching Raine along the way and grabbing Mae’s arrow in the process as he’d already taken note of her bowman stance. A normal person would only be able to use Soru once in a given amount of time before being able to use it again. Roofie was not normal. Suddenly, through the help of his devil fruit, he’d use Soru once more in an attempt to dart behind Nakashima and whisper: ”Boo.” He’d then proceed to retract his hand at full strength. Suddenly Roofie’s skateboard would come charging at full speed towards him, heading towards Mae and Nakashima with Raine experiencing a similar tug. This would be Roofie’s organic wonder gum, an invisible upgrade of his regular gum weapons. Only he would be able to naturally see the gum making his actions appear like the work of magic or a devil fruit. If the skateboard were to hit Nakashima or Mae then they would simply trip. If Raine on the other hand were to give in to the tug of Roofie, she would just fly towards the boy. How did this happen you ask? How was gum able to get on Roofie’s skateboard despite it being nowhere near him? When did Roofie place gum on Raine? And why was Roofie so gauddamn handsome? At least half of him any way. Find out next time, on the next post! Madman’s secret and all. About the KKK and CCC Techs

Nakashima watched the scene in front of him unfold, and drew his rapier. He wasn't keen on facing this man, though it probably wouldn't be that bad, especially considering it was 3 on 1. Twirling his rapier in a light circle at his side, he faced Roofie, and took a ready stance as the man...Disappeared? Staring in confusion, it was then that he noticed the man near Mae, and as he turned to face the treat, he ended up behind him? Whirling in a frenzy, he launched an attack at where the man had been. Missing due to his state of paranoia and confusion, he stumbled forwards. As he regained his balance, he noticed the skateboard from earlier flying towards him. Thanks to it's distance, he was able to lead above it as it soared under him at a decent velocity. Jumping back a few feet, Nakashima regained his composure before continuing any type of attacks. He was outmatched completely, considering the man in front of him is faster than he can keep up with. Shaking the thought out of his head,, he had to try. Rushing forward, he leapt into the air and let loose a flurry of stabs towards the man's chest, followed by a downward slash from his saber. He highly doubted that even a single attack would land, though he followed up with two more attacks afterwards in hopes to overwhelm him before dropping back once again and regrouping with Rae and Maine to formulate some type of plan. Muttering under his breath to the women, he laid out the plan as quietly as he could. "I'll charge, and either of you flank him from the sides. With his attention on me, use some type of range attacks to wound him and i'll go in for the finisher..." He sounded unsure of it, even though it should work in theory. Turning to look at he women, he awaited confirmation from them before continuing with his plan. Focus Expenditure

Both chair and punch missed, much to the redhead’s surprise. As soon as she slowed to a halt she began looking around rapidly, her anger growing fiercer and fiercer by the minute. He dared to come in here and mock them, and then wouldn’t even get hit by her attacks?! He’d pay for sure. She continued to look around angrily for him, until she felt a firm tug on her back, which confused her for sure. Without even being able to turn around, she was yanked backwards, although surprisingly she managed to retain most of her balance, and so ended up skidding the last part of her journey, almost crashing into her opponent, which she soon regretted not doing. Quickly recovering, she managed to pull away from whatever weird thing he had used to keep hold of her, or at least she was pretty sure she had managed to anyway, although she couldn’t work out what it had been. For just a brief moment she managed to remain still, well at least for just enough time for them all to regroup. Whilst Raine had been thrown around, Mae had been dealing with firstly a missing arrow, which had almost disappeared midair to her, and secondly a skateboard which decided to come crashing past her. Unlike Nakashima she was unable to dodge, and so swiftly received a rough amount of bruising to her shins, and a trip onto all fours. She yelped in pain, but quickly managed to recover, rising to her feet shakily and staring at the man that had now stopped in his tracks, an element of fear beginning to well up in her as she became unsure if they could actually do anything. Nevertheless she notched another arrow and got ready to fire. Back to the redhead now, who hadn’t quite heard her partner’s shouts, and so wasn’t initially aware of the issue she had dealt with, therefore still in her same fit of rage and ignoring the world around her. She did manage to hear what Nakashima suggested, which to most would have sounded like a decent plan. Unfortunately for all of them, she had firstly no care for taking orders, and secondly no care for the orders anyway, meaning even if she was one to listen, she wouldn’t have and would remain stubborn. Instead, she raged on, sprinting forwards and raising her guitar in an attempt to strike the monkey-man. Unlike the previous assault, there was actually some sort of tactic involved, and although she remained a hell of a lot slower than this unknown pirate, she did manage to perform an impressive feign, or at least for her standards whilst in her infuriated state. The action in question was in fact merely a fake swing at his head from the left, which she quickly spun round and attempted to crash her guitar into his torso from the right last second. She didn’t know if it would hit, but with sheer force she’d make sure to crush him and bludgeon him to a damned pulp. “I’LL CRUSH YOUR BONES AND PLY EVERY ONE OF THEM OUT WITH A GODDAMN BANANA” The redhead cursed at the man, performing her attack which completely threw off Nakashima’s plan really. Mae on the other hand was unfazed by this, and took the shot, making sure it was away from both Raine and the pirate. She had a feeling he’d dodge to one side, so firing off a few shots in the general direction he’d probably go would be worth it, and if she missed perhaps she’d hit some of the weaker pirates anyway. Briefly glancing at the swordsman, she offered a meek smile to apologise for the fact they’d ignored his plan. |

”Ha! What do a bunch a mooks like you think you can do against me?! Which one of you can really make me …mad!” Taunted Roofie as he watched the trio struggle to grasp his power. From mae slip to Nakashima’s near-slip, it was very clear that the three were out of their depth. Yet despite Roofie’s words, there was a reason he hadn’t killed them yet. A reason he still fought. Roofie stood and watched the three closely, awaiting their next action. Would they fold? Give into a situation that would, under normal circumstances, prove to be almost 100% fatal? Or would they pick up their tools and fight like the peasants they were. It was the later. ”Good...Good!!” Yelled Roofie as he stepped back, pulling out a Jian blade with his ‘free’ hand in response to Nakashima’s rush. I say free because his other hand was...preoccupied. The two swordsmen would proceed to clash iron against iron, with Nakashima’s skill clearly proving to be greater as he broke Roofie’s defense several times causing the latter to barely dodge each break. Roofie wasn’t so impressed though as the man was mid-air. If the boy pleased, he could easily knock the swordsman off his balance and cause him to fall...badly. Which is what he did!! As Nakashima prepared for his downward strike, Roofie would almost immediately yank his other arm back again to force the skateboard to seemingly fly through the air and disrupt Nakashima’s attack. As the swordsman would presumably fall away, Roofie would stare at the man in near disgust. ”There’s a reason it’s called the high ground, not air.” Said the Monkhat in a rude and dismissive tone. Despite the show of unamusement, Roofie was actually quite impressed with Nakashima’s tactics and bravado. In time he’ll learn… thought Roofie as he nodded his head. ”Now...for hese two…” Muttered Roofie as he turned around to face a charging Raine...again. ”You never learn, do you? Or did you?” Said Roofie as he sheathed his sword, stepping back in anticipation of Raine’s obvious attack, or so he thought. Roofie would continue to taunt the female as she neared him, preparing her arm for a left hook. ”Was your take away lesson not to throw chairs? You’re a sad waste of ta-huh? Shit!!” Roofie yelped as suddenly a guitar came crashing into his side. He was too focused on intercepting her punch to see it coming. Roofie would be sent flying several feet to the side, skidding across the floor in true anime fashion. Luckily for him he was able to turn slightly as the guitar hit, allowing his giant baseball bat on his back to intercept the impact. Of course he still suffered some damage though, but his mask or hat wasn’t removed by the hit. Cuz you know, in one piece the enemy is only truly defeated once their glasses or something breaks, right? ”fififi..Rufififfi! Ru-” Roofie wouldn’t get to start his maniacal laughter as arrows suddenly came flying at him. He had completely forgotten about the girl’s ranged partner. In response he’d simply pull his skateboard in front of him once more, deflecting most of the arrows, but not all.The arrow would drop to the floor as the skateboard did as well. ”Rufififififi! Good! Good!! All 3, GOOD!!! BUT NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!!!” Yelled Roofie in what seemed to be an enraged state. There was only one problem… He completely turned his back to his opponents, facing the few remaining CCC members who had backed the wall. “Boss…” one would say. ”What?!” yelled Roofie in reply. “Y-Your head...sir…” another would say right before covering his head and yelling “DON’TKILLME!” ”What are you….-” Roofie would quickly feel around his face as blood dripped down his head. He’d then move his hands upwards before finally running into a small arrow jabbing him in the forehead. He’d quickly take the arrow out and stuff it in his pants. ”What about my head?” “You were stabbed boss..are you okay?” ”I was stabbed? Where??” “But..the blood..sir” ”Blood? What blood? Oh? The blood on my face? Well..that’s just...my monthly facial-period ya’kno? Ever since I cut half my face off, my head always bleeds. Especially in battle. Sometimes my whole body bleeds. Especially in battle.” “But...sir-” ”No more interruptions! I’m in the middle of testing my opponents! So what if I was stabbed, I’m saying I wasn’t stabbed so I wasn’t stabbed! Okay?! There’s no way she hit me! I blocked it all!” “She didn’t hit you sir…” ”What?” “Y-You hit yourself...when you blocked the arrows you just tilted one to your forehead almost magically. If you just dodged them or bubbled them like you usually do then you wouldn’t have bee-” ”Bastards!!” Yelled Roofie as he turned back to his opponents, pointing at the arrow girl. ”You did this!!” continued Roofie, completely ignoring the fact that he had did this to himself, not her. ”You’ll pay!” Roofie was sweating in embarrassment, pulling out his giant baseball bat in preparation for the next barrage of attacks. Nakashima felt his side where he had been struck by the skateboard. Feeling his ribs, they felt bruised, but in-tact. Slowly moving his hands around he was satisfied there was nothing fatal or remotely dangerous - just painful. Straightening to his full height, his aura had changed. The samurai no longer cared about revenge against these wannabe pirates. He no longer gave anything to rhyme or reason. Pure, uncontrolled hatred and anger coursed through him, in amounts he had never experienced before. Sheathing his saber in one solid motion, pure killing intent wafted off the young boy. Walking forward, he stopped a number of feet in front of Roofie, his eyes dark and hard to see. As he reached for his rapier, he realized in his angered state he had somehow misplaced it back by where he had previously recovered. Glancing back at it, he didn't particularly care. Returning his focus onto Roofie, the samurai went against a decade and a half of training, and laid his hand on his saber. "Ittoryu..." Dashing forward while simultaneously striking out, Nakashima moved at his absolute fastest. Had he not been clouded by his anger, he would know far better than to attack anyone who could send him flying with the flick of their wrist, but anger coursed through his veins instead of blood, and the little blood that was left was boiling with rage. "FANG!" Nakashima had practically blinked past the man, and was in the process of re-sheathing his weapon. Anger still poured from every molecule in his body, and he turned again ready to attack once more. However, before he could, the men who were cowering against the wall spoke up and distracted the man. Sliding sideways to his blindspot, Nakashima repeated the attack to the best of his ability, hoping to get in a killing strike from this angle. Focus Expenditure

Both Raine and Mae had hit their marks for the most part, with the redhead having tricked the monkey man into getting struck by her attack, although it didn’t seem quite as successful as she’d hoped. Nevertheless he flew sideways, right into her rainbow haired partners barrage of arrows as she had continued to fire and ready one arrow after another, as if this weird pirate were being pelted with pure rainbow. Unfortunately, he brought up his skateboard and managed to block the arrows, protecting him from the majority of the attacks, apart from one… It had lodged in his head! Yes, this was good. Another change of pace however occurred, as they watched the arrow merely be yanked from his skull and pocketed as if he were some kind of magical thief. Before anybody could truly react however, Nakashima was attempting to take the man out, rage flowing through him almost as much as it was Raine as he struck with his swords. Mae’s eyes could hardly keep up, despite having the best view of the battlefield from a distance, as the man charged around to try and take down the monkey. He wasn’t the only one that wanted to tear him to shreds though, as a streak of red could be seen charging towards him too, shrieks of rage and hated bubbling up. Raine held her guitar in her hand, gripping it harder than before. Having seen this man merely shrug off what she’d done… It got to her even more, and right now the last piece of her normal thinking structure had been shrugged off, and now she was fully angry. Whoever got in her way was going to feel her wrath, for as long as they had their nervous system intact. In fact, one of the pirates had decided to leave his unconscious body in her way, which was perfect for her… As she continued moving she grabbed the man, not quite anticipating his weight and spinning herself around as she grabbed him. Using this to her advantage however though she kept the momentum up and at full pelt threw the unconscious body at the pirate. “IF THEY’RE YOUR MEN THEN HAVE THEM BACK YOU PIECE OF CRAP!” Keeping up her momentum, she got as close as she could before finally throwing her guitar over her back and using her bare fists to make this man suffer. She wasn’t as fast as the other men, but she knew if her fist collided with one of them they’d feel real pain. With enough force to truly break iron, rage flowing through her veins at a hundred miles an hour, most of her energy remaining flowed into the next attack as she struck out with full power, attempting to slam her fist into the face of this cursed monkey pirate, who seemed to love nothing more than jumping about and joking about. Whilst Nakashima kept him busy from one side, it was her that was moving in from the other, essentially carrying out his earlier plan in a more disjointed reversed way. Mae had long since stopped using her arrows though, with how difficult it would be to actually strike the target and not an ally, making herself feel rather helpless right now. |

Roofie stared at his opponents in a panicked state as he was still trying to recover from his recent embarrassment. Not only had he taken an arrow to the head, he had also almost suffered a fatal blow from nakashima from earlier. After his bath in an acid like dump Roofie had gained a rather fragile body in exchange for his abilities, so he was sure as hell not going to take another hit. Despite the immense pain he was experiencing, he kept his face brave and stern as to give off a faux bravado. He couldn’t help but think back to when he almost took a direct hit from the guitar girl. If he hadn’t used his baseball bat to mitigate the damage somewhat then he surely would have lost by now, all things considered. She was strong. But slow. Roofie then thought of the other girl, or ‘arrow bitch’ as he had come to know her. The two worked in tandem, distracting Roofie with her annoying toys while Raine draws closer. Their strength is in their unison, their teamwork. So what about Nakashima? What was his strength? His speed? His fighting capability? His swordsmanship? No…, he’s seen many a great swordsman before and nothing of Nakashima stood out just yet. Still, something inside Nakashima was special and Roofie could see it. In time, he’d certainly grow into a monster. In some ways the swordsman reminded him of Shugo, just not as annoying and much more emotional. Roofie smiled slightly upon that thought, remembering his vow to murder his travel buddy in a true one versus one. His face would slowly become more stern as he relaxed his body, standing up straight as he let his bat hit the ground. Nakashima, who had slid to Roofie’s blind spot, would attempt to ‘repeat’ the technique he used earlier. ”Cute.” said Roofie mockingly as the swordsman dashed towards him. Roofie most certainly couldn’t see him, but he could never truly see Nakashima anyways. He has always depended on his other senses more than he has his broken vision. To his left though, the punching bitch would be using an earlier tactic again. Also ‘repeating’ in a sense as she threw an object towards Roofie, dashing behind said object with her fists up. Sound familiar? ”Now it’s just insulting.” muttered Roofie with his tone shifting slightly towards anger. If they wanted to repeat tactics then Roofie would show them how to do it correctly. Before Nakashima reached Roofie again with his ‘Fang’ technique, the monkhat would disappear just as he did when he first appeared, reappearing behind May once again. ”If you want to ‘repeat’ something,” Said Roofie as he lifted his baseball bat into a swinging position. ”Change it up a bit!” Roofie would swing with all of his might at the arrow girl’s head in an attempt to knock her out completely. ”Otherwise,” he’d continue, dashing once more behind Nakashima. ”You’ll find yourself…” He’d say quietly as he’d repeat the swinging action in reverse, also attempting to knock out Nakashima. He’d then look to Raine and sigh as he quickly lifted up his right arm, pointing it straight at Raine. A gun would suddenly whip itself out of Roofie’s poncho and into his hand. He knew better than to face the girl in hand to hand combat. ”I forgot what I was going to say.” Aiming down slightly... Bang! Roofie would shoot at her ankle, hopefully stopping her charge even if it was only temporary. Assuming the three had been taken care of, he’d hide his gun once more and put up his baseball bat as he turned to the cowering men behind. ”Tie them up and feed them to The Fish.” Said Roofie in a demanding tone. His men would do as said with extreme haste, fearing for their lives as well otherwise. Focus Edited by Davy Jones, Feb 6 2017, 08:38 AM.

Nakashima cursed himself as Roofie disappeared and reappeared behind him. Having been so focused on the fight, the swordsman wasn't listening to anything that was being exchanged, and blocked out the banter. Turning in time to see the large baseball bat, Nakashima moved with lightning speed and on pure reaction. Hurling his other arm up to block the attack with his rapier, he was certain he had reduced the damage he would take until he remembered where his rapier was. Turning to glance back, the baseball bat connected with Nakashima's arm, and body - hard. Sending him flying and skidding across the rough dirt ground of the cavern. Skidding to a halt at the foot of the throne he had previously been sitting on, blood poured profusely from his wrist and head. Not to mention the tiny cuts and scrapes across his body that were all bleeding lightly. Groaning in pain, the swordsman's vision was blurry as he struggled to his feet, only to collapse to his knees again. Landing hard on his hands, he yelped in pain as his, likely shattered, wrist took the jolt of the impact. Cradling it, he realized he had dropped his saber as well, though his rapier was nearby. Picking it up in his good hand, he struggled to his feet as he heard Roofie command the rest of the men. Shaking, the pirates from earlier came at him with a renewed vengeance, desperate to prove themselves and redeem themselves for the humiliation they had suffered earlier. "I WON'T DIE SO EASILY!!!!!!!!!!!" Leaping forward, and taking advantage of the ridiculous crowd that had formed between Roofie and him, Nakashima cut through his opponents one at a time, until he was within striking distance of the man. However, his efforts were futile. As he raised his arm to attack, his vision dulled from blurry to black, and his body went limp. Falling unconscious from blood loss at his enemies feet, what was in store for the young swordsman. |

Despite the monkey man completely disappearing when the body got close, the redhead continued to charge, not only because she was sure that he was using cheap tricks to hop around, but also because he’d returned to his previous position before. She wasn’t sure where he’d gone, but as she got in close she heard a loud bang as he returned to where he’d been. She certainly had been right about him popping back to where he’d been, but suddenly her ankle erupted in pain, as she saw the ground approaching her, dropping to the floor heavily, only just protecting her face. She attempted to scramble back up, but couldn’t manage it. Glancing down she could see blood erupting from her ankle… Had she been shot? She suddenly snapped her head towards where Mae had been stood, her eyes widening as she saw the girl on the floor, her brightly coloured hair slowly turning red. It was around this time that her hearing cut out, only a ringing in her head and the pounding of her heart could be heard as she snarled, her rage building up tenfold as she attempted to raise to her feet again, yet no luck. She was only just aware of the boy walking away, which just… She was going to murder him… Her vision continued to blur though as she tried to crawl towards her partner, noticing the pirates from before approaching them, ready to tie them up. She’d burnt through most her energy fighting the monkey boy, but as one man leant down and tried to grab her, she still managed to fight her exhaustion and grab hold of his leg, gripping it tighter than was most likely possible, feeling a numb crunch and a dulled wail as he toppled to the floor, having just had his leg crushed by the redheads grip alone. Swiftly, she yanked him down to the ground, slamming his head into the floor and feeling him go limp. Raine continued to crawl, her anger and her desperation increasing with each passing moment. She could see the men approaching Mae, but there was no way that she’d let them touch her… There was… No way… She looked around for her guitar, only to notice she’d dropped it back where she started. There had to be something else… Glancing towards the man she’d just knocked out, she growled, pulling him towards her as she attempted to get up onto her knees, yelling in anger and swinging him towards the group of pirates. The unconscious body fell just short, and that was the last thing she got to see before the ground approached her again, her vision cutting and the world around her fizzing away. The bloodloss, the lack of energy and the blow she hadn’t even realise she’d taken from falling down had finally caught up to her, and now she lay on the floor, just like her two allies, ready to be tied up and thrown to the bottom of the ocean. But… Despite this, neither of the two musicians were dead, so there was still some hope. |

Roofie had turned around and began to walk away. He thought upon the skills of the three pirates he just defeated. An archer, strongar, and swordsman--Would these three be enough for war? Before all tat, would they even agree to go to war with him? Only time would reveal these answers. Besides, what if-- “I WON’T DIE SO EASILY!!!!!” Roofie stopped, whiplashing his head to the direction of the voice. His men would immediatly suround him in an attempt to block the pirate’s cahrge. This would prove poiuntless however as Nakashima tore through the masses like paper before finally reaching Roofie. Roofie would stare wide eyed as the swordsman lifted up his blade, ready to srike the monkhat down. Roofie fearlessly stared down the blank eyed swordsman for a few seconds before the man finally dropped to the ground. Taking a deep breath, Roofie would look at his right arm to see his gun ready once more. He didn’t know when he re-summoned it and what would have happened if the swordsman continued his onslaught, but he was gglad he didn’t have to find out. Nakashima wasn;t the only one giving trouble as Raine had resisted being cuffed several times, crawling to her friend Mae who had already been cuffed. Roofie chuckled slightly at the spirit the three posseed. With enough time and training, these three would without a doubt prove to be a force worth recopgnizing. For now… ”Make sure you tie their legs too. No one escapes.” Commanded Roofie as he turnwed around once more. Unfortunately he wouldn’t make it far before he was interrupted again. “Commander!” Yelled a smallish man as he ran out of a tunnel from above. Roofie turned up in anger before taking a deep breath and jumping up. And up. And up! The man was jumping on air! Landing at the tunnel in which the man stood, he’d whip out a blade and aim it at the neck of the small CCC member. “Wait! Commander!” screamed the man in terror as he began to back away. Roofie would ignore the man, pushing him further into the tunnel slowly. “Commander!! Please!I wouldn’t interrupt you if it wasn’t important! I-I know you hate interruptions!!” pleaded the man. Roofie would slow down his walk and simply stare at the criminal. “Thank you, Commander!” Yelled the man, still walking back. “I’m from the outside patrol! Marines have surrounded this base Commander! I was told to come warn you, I’m sorry!” ”...Do not interrupt me. Ever.”[/color] Said Roofie as he began to withdraw his sword. “Yes sir!” Said the small man after sighing heavily. Slice! Suddenly the man’s head was sent rolling down the tunnel as Roofie cleaned his blade of blood. Roofie walked back to the tunnel entrance and looked down on the captured intruders below. ”Change of plans!!” He yelled, “A swarm of Marines await you all outside! Hide these three and fend off the onslaught! Whatever happens to you all does not matter, but if I find a hair missing on any one of these three when I get back, you’ll be facing a power stronger that whatever awaits you on the outside!! Understood?!” Finished Roofie. The men all replied in agreement as some ran outside to face the Marines. ”Also! One of you bring me the head!” 20 minutes later ”HoHoHo! Merry- i mean, have a good day...gentlemen!” Screamed a short jolly fellow as he walked by a bunch of confused marines who Were stationed in front of the catacombs. The very fat and cloaked man would walk down in stride like an average citizen who had no issues with the law. “Clearly not the CCC” thought many marines. They would be both right and wrong in doing so. Underneath the cloak was a bunch of cloth that made him appear to be fat and beneath that cloth was Roofie, hiding in a fake body. The head was an annoying creature that Roofie stumbled into one day. A creature that only had a head. A creature that would not stop preaching the good things about life. Roofie would normally keep this beast caged but today he needed it to escape the marines. As he neared his ship he would remove the costume and look back to the direction of the soon to be battle, if not already. He could only hope that the three would not die, especially the swordsman. He had left a note in the swordsman chest to meet him on Carnage island when he is ready. Even though he didn’t do the same to the females, he believed that somehow they’d get the message as well. For now though, he bid them farewell. Exit |

Nakashima blinked his eyes open to the dim fire-lit cavern he had passed out in. Looking to his sides, he noticed that both women were here also, though from his perspective, he couldn't tell if they had regained consciousness yet or not. Shifting around slightly, he quickly realized that the lowly pirates had indeed listened to their captain and tied him up, which begged the question: Why was he alive? While conscious, he could likely finger flick the vast majority of 'pirates' here, though in his current state beaten, bloody and in ridiculous amounts of pai... As the thought crossed his mind, he quickly realized that he in fact wasn't in pain, and for that matter he had been bandaged and his wounds cleaned. WTH?! Looking around the cavern, Nakashima noticed that it was largely empty. Had their opponent spared them? What was going on? Only a couple of the members from the Color Capture Crew remained, and they sat near the entrance, guarding the weapons of the trio. It seems that they still consider us prisoners.... Otherwise, why were there guards? Thinking on the situation, he wriggled his wrists and ankles. The bounds were loose, but firm. Given his size, he could slip out of them eventually, though he was uncertain of the current situation, and didn't want to make things worse. For now, he began his work, wriggling both his wrists and ankles back and forth, slowly - but surely - working his way out of the restraints without being seen. Sheathing his saber, Lieutenant Rylan Newgate looked at the bloodbath surrounding him. His marines had dealt with the pirates, though none of them were Nakashima Kaneie. While his force had been weakened, he still had plenty of men to push through the catacombs. "You're sure it was him Doctor?" The Lieutenant asked, a small hint of fear clear in his voice. The doctor nodded mutely, having nearly lost his life to the man mere hours ago. Rylan gulped as fear closed in around his heart. He wasn't sure whether he wanted to push this or not, the rumors surrounding this new rookie were terrifying enough; paired with his newest bounty and the reasoning behind it.... Rylan waited for the battle to die down completely; his men had emerged victorious, and the remains of the Color Capture Crew were being treated for wounds and arrested for petty theft. They would be released in a number of days likely, which was unfortunate. Rylan wanted nothing more than to ensure the safety of this island and the people here, and right now, that meant facing down a pirate who had already faced down a Commodore, Captain, and Lieutenant and emerged alive. Pressing his men forward, Rylan feared he wouldn't be seeing sunlight again... Finally wriggling free, Nakashima kept his arms and legs pressed together and behind him so that the guards wouldn't realize he had loosened his arms and legs. Looking around, he couldn't find anything that he could realistically use as a weapon to plan an escape. And so, he continued to wait while he devised some sort of a plan. He couldn't die here. He refused to. If for no other reason, he needed revenge on Roofie... It was then that one of the pirates returned, short of breath and bloody. "T-" cough cough "We couldn't h-hold them..." He fell forward, and collapsed. He was alive, but just. And he had deep wounds lacerating his upper body. Standing, the four guards looked rather fearsome. Thinking back, he realized he hadn't crossed blades with any of them, and nor had they appeared scared during the last hour. Perhaps they knew how to fight. The one at the far back gathered the weapons of Nakashima, Raine, and Mae and brought them over. Dropping them in front of the group, his voice was rough. "Marines. Get up or die." Nakashima glared at the man, though he grabbed his weapons and stood as told. He'd be damned if he would die here, be it to the hands of these pirates or the marines. It was't but moments later that the marine force walked into the cavern. They stood about 50 strong, Nakashima looked at the odds and grinned. He had worse odds when he stormed this very room, and 7 on 50 didn't seem to bad through his eyes. He saw an officer hanging in the back, his coat a dead give-away. Though, compared to Lieutenant Jonathan or Captain Hirakure, this man looked like a deer-in-headlights. Leveling his rapier at the man, he slid it across his own throat, a clear symbolism for his plans. Note

As previously stated, both Raine and Mae were in fact, not dead. Being not dead was a bonus, the redhead had to admit. She’d had a feeling that the monkey man would have gladly murdered them, and although she hated to admit it, she was alive due to his twisted brain. Nevertheless, next time she saw him she’d make sure to turn the tables, and secure his place in hell as soon as possible. For now though, she needed to figure out what was going on. Shuffling around, she looked out across the mostly empty cavern, the pathetic excuse for light providing little to no vision for her as she tried to locate her partner. Thankfully after a few quiet shuffles she found her, her bright hair hidden mostly under a slightly reddened bandage. Gritting her teeth, she began worming away at her restraints, ignoring any repercussions that it may bring. After a few moments of moving about, she eventually heard a noise, and soon her arms were free, having frayed and snapped the rope which had bound her. Quietly she rose to her feet and made her way over towards her partner, beginning to tear away at the rope as the rainbow haired girl began to stir. She wished they hadn’t gotten involved in this, and she swore next time she saw Calm, his skull would be crashing through enough rock to call him a fossil. He’d set them up she was sure of it, and this was total bullshit. Once Mae’s binds were off, Raine set her eyes on her captors, her breathing rate increasing and getting heavier as she considered attacking. Before she could do so though, one returned with their usual weapons, consisting of some swords, a guitar and a harp, all in good condition. Gritting her teeth, she made sure her partner was ok before moving over towards her weapon, giving it the once over. Thankfully for the men, she found there to be no new scrapes or dents, meaning they’d treated her properly correctly. Moving on to the harp, she found similar such conditions, and moved quickly over towards the rainbow headed girl and placing her weapon besides her. She then rolled her over and began tapping her shoulder slowly, ignoring anything the men around her said. “Wakey wakey. Are you ok?” The girl groaned a little bit, but nodded, apparently not quite able to form her words yet. That was fine, Raine could easily make a stand here and protect her from anything that came their way, such as these pirate scum. Hefting her guitar, she looked out across the cave, only now noticing the marines that stood in the hallway, having previously ignored their captor’s attempts to get her to fight. Frowning slightly, she took a step forwards, looking among the people there. There must have been at least fifty marines, whilst their numbers only stood at seven, only six if you didn’t count the still mostly unconscious Mae. Naturally, those numbers were a little bit too high, and so as their four captors readied their weapons for the marines, the redhead moved up behind the nearest one, bringing her weapon down on his skull hard with a loud cracking sound. Tough or not, her sheer force which was enough to break through even iron, and the man fell to the ground unconscious. Looking up again, her eyes had gone from their usual calm blue colour, to a roaring blue flame, as she changed her stance slightly. She would protect her partner, and for being involved with her harm these men that had captured them would be in as much trouble as the marines that opposed them. The only people that she didn’t have hateful eyes for right now were Nakashima (only just) and of course Mae. “COME AT ME FUCKERS!” And with that, ignoring the fact that she’d just knocked out one of her supposed allies, and the most likely violent protests from the rest of them, she charged towards the blue caps. The first wave of marines stood little to no chance, with a solid guitar coming into contact with many of the front liners, their combat readiness serving them no purpose as the solid instrument found its way into their faces. Within only a few seconds, three had fallen, the first to a smack to the face, the second two to the chest. Cracked ribs all round it seemed as another man fell to a similar such strike to his chest, this one a little fiercer than the other too and most likely causing internal rupturing. Despite having only just awoken, her rage was enough to fuel her for a while, and a good bit of sleep had returned her energy. The fifth marine actually managed to withstand Raine’s first strike, and although as her guitar most likely shattered his shoulder as it crashed down upon it, he still managed to raise his other arm and attempted to defend himself with his sword. Another downwards strike from her guitar proved this wasn’t his best choice though as the weapon nearly crumbled, a crack appearing and his grip loosening as her own weapon, only just superior to his, came crashing down on his other arm. He shouted out in pain for only a moment before a fist crashed into his throat and caused him to collapse. Gloating, the fiery woman moved slowly towards the next group, growling and raising her arms up to taunt. Numerous clicks could be heard throughout the cavern however, as some of the marines finally came to their senses and attempted to ready their rifles, many stumbling whilst others aimed down their sights with the shakes. Having watched five of their allies already be literally crushed and smashed to pieces scared them of course. However those that found themselves ready to fire quickly fell to the ground, with three arrows soaring through the air in quick succession and planting themselves in body parts of the marines. A few moments later and another two arrows soared by, striking another two and knocking them over. Each Nimia now had five on their counters so to speak, and the redhead quickly turned to grin, before getting back into the fight and punching her sixth marine in the throat, knocking him to the floor. Strange… She wasn’t feeling her aches and pains from before, although she paid that no mind. |

The swordsman walked calmly through the chaos that Raine was causing, enjoying the battlefield. Taking in the smell of the blood, and the must of the cavern, paired with the melody of clashing steel; he smiled. Continuing his slow meander, his eyes were locked with the Lieutenant's. Carrying both his weapon's loosely, it didn't take much to dodge or counter the wild attacks that came at him from rookie marines. Sidestepping an attack from the only marine between Nakashima and Rylan, he sliced the man's chest open, and faced the marine. Nakashima was wary, despite his confidence that he was stronger, for a very simple reason. He had been certain that he was stronger than Roofie as well, and look how that turned out - the swordsman had ended up defeated and humiliated, completely and utterly. Anger still burned behind his glossy eyes, as he watched Jonathan step forward, drawing his saber. For the first time however, Nakashima didn't give into the anger, but instead, he released himself to his despair. That gnawing feeling that he MUST become stronger. In doing so, he felt in control and confident as he faced off, trading testing blows with his opponent in a small circle. Nakashima, for once, knew exactly how he wanted to fight. There wasn't any indecision as he stepped forward, and caught a sideways blow with his saber. Stepping in closer, Nakashima locked the guards of the swords together, and pulled back his rapier, aiming to pierce his opponent's heart. Unfortunately for him, Rylan did something he hadn't expected at all. He jumped back. Confusion played across the swordsman's face as the saber fell to the ground. Rylan ran to another marine, while Nakashima gave chase. It was almost as if the two marines had orchestrated this exactly. A handoff of gauntlets, and Rylan stopped, and turned around, the steel gauntlets radiated a ridiculous heat. More confusion played across the swordsman's face. Chuckling, Rylan lifted the gauntlets up, and showed him. "They're both equipped with Flame Dials. I've been after the Mera Mera No Mi for a number of years, but that pirate won't die, so Im stuck wi-" Nakashima cut him off with an attack. This didn't change anything except for how the swordsman would have to handle his opponent. Relying on his speed, Nakashima darted around the battlefield, getting small knicks in here and there as he aimed on wearing his opponent down moer than anything. Irritation played across the lieutenant's face. "ENOUGH!" Slamming his fists down, a large pulsation of fire erupted from the ground, knocking Nakashima back with enough force to shatter a few bones. Skidding across the ground, he used his sword to drag himself to a stop before standing again and facing his opponent. His clothes and hair were singed, and he realized this might be a bit more difficult than he thought as the steel gauntlets began to glow red. "Shit..." Nakashima muttered as he could invision his sword blades melting against the red-hot steel. |
