It had been a long journey, though as Nakashima's feet met the firm wood of Gesso Island's only dock, he smiled. A warm breeze gently loosened his tight ponytail as he walked up to a small old man, and asked for basic directions. It struck Nakashima as odd that not only was the dock white, but so was the man's clothing, his building, and seemingly the majority of his possessions. After getting directions from the man, who seemed far more interested in his tie than a sword-wielding, scarred man appearing at his dock, Nakashima headed towards the town located in the center of the island. As he explored more of the island, he came to the eerie realization that everything was white. The sand, the wood, the cement, the clothing, everything.

As he came into the town, he realized it was a rather sprawling and large area and everything looked EXACTLY the same. The buildings, streets, and shops all looked so similar that it only took about 5 minutes for Nakashima to have lost his way entirely, though the 3 men in masks who had been following him did not escape his attention. Nakashima took some turns, four lefts to be precise, to ensure that he wasn't imagining his would be stalkers. They still followed him, unfortunately for them.

Turning to face the men, he was surprised to see two of them already charging him, smiling widly, Nakashima was never one to back down from a fight. Whipping his swords out, he rushed forward to meet them. However, when the two were just about to be in range of his attacks, they both pulled out a large bucket of white paint and threw the entirety onto him. Blinded, disoriented and confused the swordsman sputtered as he lifted a basic guard in anticipation of the following attacks.

The attacks never came though. Instead he felt a solid tug around his neck, and then heard only silence. Wiping the paint off of his face, he looked around and realized that his assailants were long gone. Feeling around his neck, he also realized that his tie was missing.

"A shame really. That bright blue tie easily could have gotten you a nice room here for a considerable amount of time, free meals and everything."

Nakashima whipped about to the voice, already on guard. However, it turned out to only be an old man. Confused as ever, he sheathed his swords, not wanting to make waves until he understood a bit more about this island. Come time though, they would all feel his wrath for the stunt of those three.

"Tell me sir, who was it that attacked me?"

"They've become known as the Color Capture Crew. A real nuisance."

Nodding, Nakashima walked away. Names were a powerful thing, and Nakashima was certain he could find these fools before he departed from the island.

Calm had spent a long time just drifting till eventually he woke up at Gesso island seeing that the sand was completely white and noticed as he looked into the town it being completely white and walked into a shop seeing one person paying with a tube of red paint wondering what they were doing as he walked up to them asking for directions to where an inn would be at, he noticed them both looking at his clothes as they answered and noticed both of their clothes were white.

"What’s with everything being white on this island?"

"Well this island is known for having white rain with paint being currency and your clothes could sell for a lot."

He thought they were crazy after all paying with paint, after he got directions from them he left the small shop going into town as he slowly started getting irritated thinking he was starting to go crazy thinking in his head "I know i just did not pass the same house 20 times." and he looked back seeing the same houses over and over wondering how he was supposed to find directions to anywhere with the streets, houses, and even the wood and interior of buildings being white.

He proceeded to walk into a few shops every 5 minutes before finding his way to an inn finally as he bought a room with a small piece of clothing from a spare set of clothes and he walked into the room seeing it being a 5 star luxurious room but the room was still white.

"everything is still white all of it."

Calm put down his stuff down on the bed which he noted was really soft he would need one for later if he ever got a better ship, after his shower he walked out to see a few people jumping out of his window to see them stealing a spare set of clothes as he jumped out the window trying to catch them but it was to no avail as they knew the paths of the alleyways better than him.

He walked into his room defeated as he hid his stuff better where no one would find it if an employee ever came in and tried to grab anything as well and left the inn yawning as he found a restaurant but had nothing to pay with now because of his spare clothes getting stolen so he made his next goal to find a way to get something colorful.

The solid white island had already put a damper on Nakashima's joyous mood, and the interference of this Color Capture Crew had seriously ticked him off. It was as if he was some cartoon sketch, with little squiggle coming out of his ears to signify his irritation. Granted, the fact that the only way he could find his way around this god forsaken town was that names were slightly different from building to building, pissed him off even more as he swore he passed the same building for the fourth time. After the fifth time, he simply groaned in frustration so loudly that a child next to him jumped due to the sudden noise.

Looking around, he thought of something that could genuinely help. It took some doing, and some speed-walking though after 5 or so minutes, he found the wet-paint left from his would be assailants splattered across the ground. He had, for the most part, only walked straight before this making it easier to backtrack his steps to the docks. Again, while easier it was not easy. After another solid 5 minutes, he finally saw the white wood off in the distance. Again, he walked with a quickness as he believed his hunch to be correct.

As he neared closer, he whipped his rapier out, the weapon was much lighter and faster than anything he had ever wielded before, and it was something he thanked for right now. As he rounded the corner to the small building he thrust it forward, the tip mere inches from the man's throat.

"I should kill you right now you utter piece of trash..."

The man didn't even react, simply flipped another page in the magazine he was reading. After he had finished, he sighed lightly, and folded the magazine closed. Wrapping it up, he pushed the tip of Nakashima's sword to the side, which simply irritated the swordsman even more. Cutting the reading material into multiple pieces, he returned his sword to the man's throat.

"I take it the Color Capture Crew got to you? Rough youngster. They usually aren't that fast."

"Yeah, they did. And you seemed real interested in my tie when I got here. Seems real suspicious would you not agree?"

The man literally snorted at Nakashima's ignorant words. He gripped the rapier, and pushed the tip down with an impressive strength for someone his age. He ignored the pain of his deepening cuts the entire time, and finally met Nakashima's steady gaze.

"Listen, just so you understand the situation Nakashima."

The man knowing his name, sent shivers down his spine, until his eyes caught sight of a couple shreds of the magazine he had shredded News Coo. That must have been how. If he had been outed as one of the assailants on United Teriyaki States, his bounty likely would have spiked enough to warrant strangers recognizing him. Even if he hadn't been identified, he did have a bounty before then.

"You're on Gesso Island. Color is the only thing thats truly important here. You see this paint? the equivalent of beli to the citizens here!" The man was clearly irritated, though Nakashima couldn't place the reason why. "Everyone and I mean everyone would have been interested in that pretty little tie of yours!"

Nakashima pulled his rapier back, and simply nodded, re-sheathing the sword. Turning back to the town, with a better understanding of where he was, he smiled a rather chaotic looking smile as his plans evolved for what he wanted to do while here....

Calm is walking around the town getting rather irritated at the lack of proper directions and as he said it “FUCKING COLOR” he got increasingly irritated until he saw 3 people behind him wearing masks on their face as calm took a turn for the alleyways grabbing his staff as he thrust it into one’s stomach with another punching him in the face calm holding his forearm onto his neck as he kicked the other one in the stomach but he lost his balance from him grabbing his foot and they stole the red rope around his waist but left the sash as they just ran calm trying to run after them but they somehow managed to escape again.

"I really need to learn the pathways of this place before i try running after these guys."

He proceeded to walk away from the alleyway determined to get his clothes back and eventually catch the people who were stealing his clothes before he left the island especially since they stole his clothes to pay for food and everything else. He walked into a store to see a shop with some tubes of paint of various bright colors with a price chart up as calm guessed he had to pay for paint since it was money here still thinking it was crazy until about having to pay with paint but he guesses it works and buys some it seeing an old man talking to someone else who looked like a pirate going by the swords and lack of marine uniform but he walked out of the shop not feeling like getting bothered as he walked further into town buying random food as long as it tasted good.

He walked out of the restaurant wondering what locations to check first in terms of finding the people who stole his clothes finding it especially stupid they stole it just for the color of them. He walked into a bar as he started asking around about them before he got one answer from a guy in the back talking to a few of his friends but what calm noted about the man was his dyed green hair with a few other colors showing up in the mess of his hair every now and then as he scratched it a little. The man just said to him.
"They go by the name of The Color Capture Crew looks like your a foreigner if you dont know that much atleast"
"ah yeah just got my stuff stolen from them about a half hour ago."
"Shame if they're as colorful as the clothes your wearing right now."

Calm walked out of the bar as the man didn't have any other information besides that at least happy he knew their name so he could address them properly and not look like he's crazy, He noticed something as he looked up and saw white rain mixing with his hair but it didn't really affect it because of his hair already being white so he ran back into the bar not particular on wanting his clothes to get ruined and was happy to notice his clothes hadn't been ruined by the paint as the bar keeper laughed.

"You can stay in a room up there for today lad."

The middle aged bar keeper chuckled after he said that and pointed towards a staircase as calm walked up it seeing a few rooms that he assumed were empty and jumped in one of the beds sitting down to take a quick break from the stress of the island glad he left nothing of his at the inn he payed for.

Nakashima wasn't entirely convinced of the man's innocence, though there wasn't much reason to kill him. Not yet anyways, after all it would just put a rush on the pirate and with his rather hasty exit from the lives of his previous crew members, he had no where to go and nothing to do. Sighing, he wiped the chaotic look from his face as to not raise any alarms when he returned to town.

Nakashima decided to grab some food, as it had been a considerable amount of time since he had eaten anything of substantial benefit to him. It took him a ridiculous amount of time in order to find anywhere to eat though, as every single building looked so incredibly similar. Sighing in extreme irritation as he looked for a sign that pointed towards some type of food, he finally found a small sushi shop. Heading inside, he ordered a simple roll; Spicy tuna and avocado layered on sushi rice and wrapped in nori. It was his favorite assortment for a sushi roll, and he was happy to see that they had it here.

It didn't take too long for the roll to arrive, though Nakashima was somewhat hesitant to eat it as, just like everything else on this island: it was solid white. Rubbing his eyes as he decided whether to eat or simply walk out, he picked up his chopsticks and took one tentative bite. As the flavor burst within his mouth, he was pleasantly surprised to say the least. While he didn't consider himself a connoisseur of sushi by any means, this roll was on the high end of any he'd eaten in the past.

As he finished the roll, he didn't feel ill by any means. Others were eating the same white stuff that seemed to coat just about everything here. Looking around, he didn't see anyone experiencing any ill effects. So, it's safe to eat, and doesn't seem to harm the ecosystem since the fish need to be fresh for sushi this quality...

It wasn't long after that, when Nakashima heard the familiar tapping that signified rain. Walking to the door, he saw that the rain was the same white as the rest of the island, and things finally clicked. Reaching out, he allowed a few drops to fall onto his hand. It had the same consistency as the paint that he had been attacked with earlier...

"So that's what's going on...." he muttered to himself

turning, he returned to his seat and waited for a bill. The waitress came by and Nakashima realized what the old man had said as the woman commented on what color paint he could pay with. Sighing, he informed them that he didn't have any paint. The owner had Nakashima follow him to the back. Nakashima usually would just kill the waitress and owner, though his curiosity and need for revenge against those fucking people who had stolen his tie won out. He agreed upon 30 minutes of work in order to pay off the sushi he had eaten.

Pulling on some gloves, and washing the paint off his forearms and hands, he headed out onto the floor and started waiting on customers. After about 35 seconds though, he decided to just walk out. The rain was irritating as he turned white himself, though it didn't bother him that much, since his clothes were all but ruined.

Calm didn't notice himself falling asleep until he woke up an hour later seeing the white rain outside as he stood up from the soft bed his legs still asleep as he grabbed his staff walking out of the room and down the stairs.

He poked out his staff getting some of the white rain on it and brought it back in touching it as it felt like paint and then he wiped it off making sure none was left as he looked at the middle aged bartender.

"Whats with the white paint raining from the sky?"
"This was once a rather normal island, that was until a weird colorful cloud came over the island and white primer fell from the sky."
"Huh that's a weird cloud indeed you guys ever try to get rid of it?"
"oh believe me we have but all our attempts fail we heard of a power from the sky islands that could manipulate weather but we mostly consider that to be a myth."
"Tell you what if that power is real ill come back here eventually and remove all these weird clouds from this place then you guys can live a normal life."

The bartender chuckled as they handshaked on it calm deciding to make that one of his major goals for the future plus if he could really control the weather imagine the things he could do with that, calm internally chuckled thinking about it wondering what other interesting things were in the grand line.

His mood king of dampened from the rain since it has been going on longer than he has seen any rain go on and he got a random idea since he remembered something from his childhood.

"Hey you got any Ketsuraku Rice Wine back there?"
"Let me check in the back thats a rather rare thing over here though haven't seen any in years probably."

Calm instantly grabbed a bottle of the wine as the bartender came back with a whole bottle calm putting down the beli already as he started drinking it enjoying the old taste as it brought back memories from his childhood and how he would get repeatedly getting hit for drinking it because he was underage as he chuckled slightly.

"Now i really owe you one i haven't had some in forever ever since i left the island i was born on."
"You can stay down here but im closing up for today since it looks like its getting a little late wish i could still go on adventures like you but you dont just go from 40 to 20 hahaha."

Calm chuckled a little still drinking the wine as he drank the whole thing still waiting for the rain to stop coming down and decided to go upstairs as he yawned walking up the stairs walking into the old spare room he was in before stretching as he accidently fell asleep.

Jack was not a big fan of the grand line weather. On his way to Little Garden, a violent storm caught his boat and tore the sail, forcing him to relinquish any and all control over the direction of the small vessel. And here is where it landed him. This was the second time he let his course be dictated by the weather, and he did not like that even one bit. And the fact that this island was only a big stretch of white did not help improve his mood.

He looked at his work out equipment for a moment, contemplating the possibility of burying his annoyance into the work out, but he felt like going for a walk would be much better. He was hungry too.

Walking around the docks, he saw a man dressed all fancy like city people putting a rapier to an old man's throat. He did not know what to make of it, but the man did not give him a strong vibe for some reason. Watching from afar, he saw him leave, and so he knew it was only an empty threat. He suddenly had a flash back of the fight with Erubiel and Lacker and his pathetic showing on Cactus island. Am I really a good enough swordsman to be judging this guy for not going through with his threat? he wondered as he walked away in another direction. Man I need to eat something before I depress myself more. There is nothing like good food and merry company to cheer someone up.

Walking into the first restaurant he could find, which was hard to find in the first place given the white color of everything anywhere in sight, he sat down and ordered one of everything. He of course did not have a dime on him, so he decided to eat his fill if he was going to dine and dash anyway.

The white food seemed as boring as everything else on the island at first, but after actually tasting it, the samurai did not regret it. Though the difficulty to tell exactly what he was eating, led to him mixing palate tastes that wouldn't mix well together in a million years.

When he finished eating, he got up and declared for everyone to hear: "Maaaaaaaaaan, I'm stuffed!!!!" before bolting out the door to the screams of the owner and waiter, who chased after him for a few blocks. "Man, I totally knew eating would cheer me up!" he said to no one in particular as he stopped after losing his chasers.

Sighing as he walked into their apparent laundromat, Nakashima pulled a few coins from his ever-dwindling beli pouch. He handed them over to the attendant, and took his soap, basket, and scrub board. Stripping down to his undershirt and underwear, he dropped the clothes into the soapy water, and set to grinding. Scrubbing the paint out took considerably longer than he thought it would, though by the time he was done, his clothes were as good as new.

Standing up, he walked to the front and claimed a simple white shirt and pant set to wear while his clothes dried on the line. Strapping his swords to him, and pulling on the shoes he didn't bother to clean, he headed back towards the door to see that the rain had stopped. Smiling, he headed back out onto the street to try and learn a bit more about the surrounding area before he painted everything red.

While Nakashima wasn't a scholar by any means something as interesting as this island was far too good to pass up. It piqued his natural curiosity, and exploration was something that he could be more care-free and childish than he was used to. It didn't take him too long to wander to the outskirts of town. By his thoughts, and the position of the sun, Nakashima was pretty sure he was on the eastern side of the island.

It didn't take long for him to reach a small cave entrance. Smiling, he wondered if he could find anything in the cave as to answer what's going on with this island. As he approached however, a small cockroach crawled from the entrance. Despite it easily being as large as his leg, he defined it as small due to the second one that came out. Nakashima was not easily intimidated, thou a cockroach that was bigger than he was was a very quick way to make him back down immediately.

Pulling back, his interest in what might be in the cave was effectively quelled. Seeing insects that size seriously wigged him out. He back-tracked his steps to get back to town, and as he passed a building he recognized as another restaurant from the layout inside, he heard someone shout about how stuffed he was. Rolling his eyes, he kept moving and eventually found a cozy seat in the shade of a white tree to wait in while his clothes dried.

Yawning as he woke up from a small nap calm walked out of the room down the stairs being pleasantly surprised that the rain was gone as he took a few steps out instantly feeling the heat from the outside and stretching feeling refreshed as he walked around finding himself with a better grasp of his surroundings even though his surroundings were all white but he learned a few names of the shops and was getting around by those finally happy he didn't look strange walking around confused all the time.

Noticing a few people staring at him he looked back to see them staring at a photo of him and a bounty as calm ran into a alleyway whispering "Crap i'll have to get something to hide for a while but i can just say my hair was turned white from paint." and he walked out his goal being to find a hat and anything else that he could use to hide his appearance.

After walking around through the whole city learning a few more names of the shop he found a clothing store grabbing a white beanie as he put it on looking in a mirror and saying "I guess this will work for now." and walking up to the store clerk paying for it with a bright orange that looked rather ugly to him but apparently it was one of the most expensive on the island, he didn't manage to find anything else that would hide his appearance well and guessing by the picture they only focused on his face when they drew the picture glad they didn't focus on his outfit as that would be a dead giveaway.

Walking out of the clothes store he walked out of the city yawning as he saw a few sniper outposts wondering if they would create a problem or not for later so he just ignored them for now not considering them to be too big of a threat because he doubted they could see him properly enough to notice who he is from all the way up on the outposts but noticed a person remembering him from the shop as the guy with swords as he started walking over only to see that a couple of giant bugs walked out as he ran the other direction as fast as possible after all he didn't want to fight dinosaur sized bugs if they were in there.

Calm ran towards the docks and saw a ship sailing in as a man with long hair walked out walking into the city sighing as calm noticed his clothing not being bright so there wasn't a chance a chance of the Color Capture Crew attacking him so there went that idea out the window now he would have to keep trying to figure out how to find them so he could get his clothes as well as maybe extorting paint out of them and selling it for his own use.

With that goal in mind he walked into town asking around about the Color Capture Crew not getting any information as always and kept on walking around asking almost about everyone about them and their location of their base as well as any other information that might help him.

Jack was in a good mood after stuffing his face with all kinds of food, how could he not be? The only thing that could make this day better was if he found himself some opposite sex affection. That though he could not possibly "eat and run" his way into. He would have to work for it and it seemed too much of a hassle to try it with the sun still up in the sky and all the bars almost empty. I should probably try to get myself some money instead. I can't keep never paying for anything, and running all the time.

With that thought, he directed himself towards the place he had suspected was a market. With his strength, he could probably find some decent labor-like work and get some beli for when he gets into a tight spot he can't run or fight his way out of. The first merchant he approached explained to him that he would pay him one quarter a bucket of paint an hour for lifting crates. Jack's reaction, naturally, was to take the closest bucket of paint he could find in that shop and empty it on the merchant's face.

When approaching the second merchant though, he took the precaution of joking about the paint before asking for work, and that one was much more helpful by mentioning the key piece of information that this entire island used colors for trade instead of beli. That sort of made sense to Jack in a weird weird way. I suppose colors are like their gold and silver. Quite primitive really, but I suppose it is what it is. This time he was not rude to the merchant, but instead, he got an idea.

"Hey you sell clothes right? What if I gave you this grey kimono I'm wearing and you gave me a white one? How much paint would I get?"

The merchant looked very pensive for a moment before answering. "I'm afraid grey is the least expensive color next to white buddy. I probably wouldn't even break even since it would cost me more than the difference to wash all that sweat from your clothes. And it looks pretty worn out anyway. Tough luck."

That is just my luck isn't it. he thought to himself gloomily as he moved on.

Waking back into town, he overheard a man asking another one about some pirates who capture colors for a living (this is Calm).

Is this guy for real? I suppose it only makes sense. I really just gotta think of colors as beli while I'm here. he thought to himself before walking to the guy questioning everyone he runs into and said: "Are you sure these guys even exist? It sounds like it's too good to be true. I'm new here and no one bothered to steal any clothes from me." he already knew that his kimono was pretty much worthless, but the point was to get a conversation gong with the man, not to argue with him.

Standing, Nakashima returned to the laundromat in which he had cleaned his clothes and left them to dry. As he was unclipping them from the clothes line, he felt 3 small coins dig into his bag, clearly thrown intentionally. Turning, he recognized the shopkeeper and noticed his coins sitting in the grass at his feet. Bending over and picking them up, he slid them back into his beli pouch, albeit confused about the whole situation. Was it not enough? Perhaps the shopkeeper....

Shit... He thought to himself as he remembered how people were expected to pay here.

Patting his pockets, he found nothing of benefit up until the moment he remembered he no longer had need for his old sheath. Considering he now carried a saber/rapier combo, the sheath to a Katana was all but useless to him. Pulling it smoothly from his side, the bright blue immediately caught the attention of the shopkeeper. Paying for his clothes, Nakashima was pleasantly surprised to see the shopkeeper hand him back two small bottles of light purple paint as 'change'. Nodding thankfully, the swordsman dressed himself and pocketed his new found currency.

Walking through the town, he was unsure of what to do. He wanted to hunt down the people who had assaulted him upon his arrival, though he had no idea where to begin looking. All he had was a name - The Color Capture Crew. Sighing, he headed into a bar, and started asking around. The bar tales were as believable as they were realistic. The swordsman heard every single story that could possibly exist, he was mostly sure. Monkey D. Luffy had become a cyborg, and led the color capture crew. Whitebeard, the late yonkou, had been risen from the grave and was leading it. There was no actual crew, they were just ghosts who disappeared. Blah, blah, and more blah. Nodding along to the stories, the swordsman quickly learned that he wasn't going to get any real information from a group of drunks and regretted coming here entirely.

Standing up, and bidding them adieu, he continued his search, this time tracing his steps through town in an attempt to catch the crew's attention with his new found paint this time. After about 10 minutes however, he realized it was hopeless. Even if the men did spot him, they had already taken his tie, and probably wouldn't bother attacking the same target twice. Nakashima was quickly getting irritated with his luck, and was just about to get ready to give up, as he heard a man question the crews existence from behind his position.

Nakashima turned and saw two men, one was significantly taller than the swordsmen, while the other was only a few inches taller. Both however, had much thicker builds. Joining in on their conversation, Nakashima dropped his two cents "They most certainly do exist, unless random strangers understand coordinated attacks and theft with little room for error." It wasn't meant to be as passive-aggressive as it had come out, but it didn't take much to realize why this fellow hadn't had his clothes stolen. The mute tone of gray was hardly appealing, and he doubted that it would be worth anything even here on Gesso. However, as he caught sight of the man's swords, he noticed the sash that kept them tied tightly to him. A bright red and blue sash like that could be pretty valuable here. Perhaps he could be used as bait...

Nakashima didn't want to out himself as a pirate yet, he was still inconspicuous enough and had a low enough bounty to pass for a regular civilian, and wanted to keep it that way - for now. However, he also needed to find a way to get this swordsman to work with him as his bait to lure out this Color Capture Crew. Perhaps this other man could also help, though it would be purely combat since it seemed he had also been hit by the crew, wearing nearly no color.

Calm looked at both of the men wondering why they would want to bother him and what goals they have besides the Color Capture Crew since he could possibly be endangered by them and so he decided to not trust them completely and so he silently reached for the staff in his kimono but looked at the man with two sword (nakashima) "your affiliation since you're the only one that i can’t tell if you're a pirate or marine."

He noticed the man being rather secretive and decided to ask him "also what’s your plan for catching them?"

Looks like I'm not the only one bored out of my mind. Jack thought to himself as he heard Nakashima answer instead of the man Clive had actually interrupted. Though soon after he realized the newcomer was actually someone who was robbed by these pirates.

Having already figured that the existence of this pirate crew was very probable, the samurai did not know what to say in response to such strongly held conviction that they did. Thankfully, Calm responded to Nakashima before Jack found anything to say, so he hung back listening to them.

It felt strange that one would ask for someone's affiliation before their name, but the merchant was used to dealing with odd-types, so he just smiled and waited a bit before speaking: "How about we go around and introduce ourselves first. I see you're both use weapons like myself so I'm interested to know more about you. I'm Jack Clive. And though I don't have one of those jolly roger things for myself, I so have a bounty so you can treat me as you would a pirate."

He wasn't completely sure these two weren't marines or bounty hunters, but as long as he had his swords by his side, he wasn't about to be scared by two strangers he just met. In fact, he would probably welcome any possible hostility coming from them. There was nothing like a bit of sword-crossing to work off a meal, Jack often found. "You know what guys? I think I would be very interested in crossing swords with you regardless of affiliation, even if it's just an exercise."

(feel better Calm)

Nakashima glared at the staff-wielding man, not sure whether or not he could trust him. It was far out of the norm to ask someone their 'affiliation' before even asking their name. Ignoring him, he turned to the other as he spoke. As the other introduced himself as Jack Clive, Nakashima's ears perked. He had heard that name before, though it took him a solid 30 seconds to place it. As his eyes lit up with recognition, he nearly shouted:

"The Four Blues Swordsmanship Tournament! You won it!"

Nakashima smiled as he began introducing himself "The name is Nakashima Kaneie, I'm a swordsman from Wano. I ran a small crew out of North Blue, we called ourselves The Constellars. We weren't a big name or anything, but I've had my fair share of exploits." He didn't bother explaining any further, hoping not to out himself too much. If he let the others know he had a hand in the slaughter of Lieutenant and Captain at United Teriyaki States, they could quickly switch their mentalities against him.

Nakashima smiled as Jack offered a small bout. It had been weeks since his adventures with Annabeth, and he needed to get himself back into fighting shape if he hoped to stand any chance here in the grand line. Checking both his saber and his rapier, he smiled as he flashed the marbled metal. The unique blade color was the result of his previous black katana being smelted together with a rare silver steel, making both blade look like an oreo shake of sorts. As he pushed both back into their sheaths fully, he nodded towards Jack. "I think a quick spar would be very fun, I've wanted to test my mettle against another skilled swordsman for some time now."

He motioned in the direction of a small clearing he had seen while exploring the island earlier. He didn't particularly care if the third member in their little trio followed or not, though he was thoroughly excited to cross blades with Jack. He had hoped to come into the Grand Line a bit more fabled and feared, though it seems that the government has ignored his actions so far. Shrugging, it was what it was.

Walking to the opposite side of the clearing, he waited for Jack to arrive so they could begin.

Calm noticed nakashima ignoring him to talk to the other man as he just settled on asking for later rather than right now especially when they were in town even though he hadn't seen any marines on the island which seemed strange so he would have to find out about that later. He noticed the two swords on jack which looked a lot more valuable than his clothes and wondered why his stuff hasn't been stolen except for his clothes since that was easily shown by the gray old clothes.

He looked at both the men sweat dropping as he noticed them start talking and then heard jack ask about a quick spar. He noticed nakashima saying something deciding to actually listen and heard about jack being some kind of swordsman samurai in the blues which calm just shrugged off considering they were in the grand line and there was much stronger swordsmen, to top it off calm then heard nakashima start talking about his old crew and yawned sure he would hear the story many times from a lot of different people especially considering the massive amount of diversity.

He looked at both the swords sure he could sell them for a good price or at least use them as bait for later still deciding to trust neither of the men but he knew jack's intentions were not of using him as bait like he particularly believed about nakashima especially with the strange glint in his eyes when he was looking at jack and noticed him staring at the swords. While the two were getting ready to fight calm just sat in a tree because he would rather not get exhausted over something stupid especially with the threat of both snipers and Color Capture Crew around the island.

With both the men getting ready calm just looked around incase any locals or the Color Capture Crew decided to try and steal something which calm found to be the biggest bother about this island especially considering he didn't have to do this for his own clothes on other islands or on other ships at least not for his clothes, and the reason he had to make sure none of his stuff got stolen aka color made him even more pissed for some reason.

He started watching the fight wondering about a number of things that seemed rather useless to calm in their fighting style like all the moves taken just to do a little bit of damage but what calm noticed the most about jack was him just not giving up sighing because that was the person he hated to fight against the most against since they would barely give up even if they were outmatched which annoyed calm to no end.
