Rokougan and Rankakyu:
Rokougan should have the general effect Shockwave. Yeah it nerfs it a little but it gives it authenticity also I corrected a spelling mistake and changed hit to shockwave in the first sentence. Limits it's branching potential a little and no more flaming Rokougan or haki dense Rokougan but hey, This should be changed. This also prevents people using their dfs for increasing the range. It's still a shockwave at arm's length. Put Piercing as maybe another suggestion as Lucci destroyed stone with his. This also means professional critical hits have more branch potential than Roukougan as right now there is no reason someone should pick Critical Hit over Roukishiki mastery except for maybe branching it into Anutsuken, you plan on getting both of them or style bonus. Still if you use poisons like assassins/doctors do then your professional debuff slot is already occupied so it begs the question why use Critical Hit over your profession primary making critical hits for half the professions that use them useless if one builds a certain way, Also advancements make it even easier to have poisons and Roukishiki. PLUS!!!! with the new stat buff/debuff slots it's even more important to pick what buffs n debuffs you want. I also think Rankakyu should not have Damage type change as it really does not benefit from that general effect. It can't change the type of it's damage like Shigan can and kicking as hard as one does with it to make a shock wave accounting for it slicing. People like swordsmen would also have more reason to have Rankakyu shockwaves over their normal ones more due to access to more general effect power. Kaku builds!. I see Damage type change being used for like more of a bullet like Rankakyu. It technically nerfs it as you were getting it for "free" but you weren't really plus the cost of shockwave is still reduced. Rankakyu does not have concussive or piercing(Not to be confused with the elite effect) effects Super Speed and Flight: (Elite Effects) 28, Super-Speed - Techniques which move at speeds that do not fall under the Speed Statistic such as Lasers or Soru. They are not impossible to avoid, the more Speed/Accuracy, the less difficulty it will be with dealing with these types of attacks and abilities though they will always be perceived as blurred attacks or narrowly avoided. A technique with this over r28 follows the Perception formula Perception Formula: Applies itself to Super Speed techniques over r28 Cant be seen by anyone who's accuracy isn't at least double this technique, If foe targetted speed is less than this technique, If uninterrupted equals a auto-hit. Can be use for moving at faster speeds like Soru. (See Perception Formula Soru.) Dodge Formula: Applies itself to Deflect techniques with a power over 28 and Intangible defenses. While in use, this technique reduces the effective accuracy of any targeted attack made against the user by a value equal to this technique's power. If this would reduce the accuracy of that attack to 0, the attack can be passively dodged without any expenditure of AE. 16, Flight: This technique allows the user to fly, Pay double for range costs and must have either a devil fruit power, Elemental Damage or Shockwave to aid in their flight. They can fly for AEx1 rounds. At no range the user floats and this can be used for swimming, levitating or wall climbing. With no Speed the user moves at the speed of walking. requires displacement. Just like Devil fruit striking the Perception formula should go on all Super Speed techniques over r28. Some Devil fruits allow for Super Speed so this means ones which are below r28 are still visible by everyone in a sense. Personal Flight needs to be on the technique elite effect table for Cyborgs, Logias, Geppou/Sky Walk. Geppou gets free short range. I also encompassed Water walking and Wall climbing as well as lifting a target in it. Dodge formula is for Logia and Paramecia defenses or anything which the user become intangible or if they use deflect with a power over 28. Size and Range Non Stat Buffs:(Gear 3) Non stat buffs that increase the size of your attack or range using the same tables as we do now whilst active using Paramecias, Logias, LR, Zoan forms,Gadgets, Pop Greens, Constructs. Df General effects should effect this as well as carpenter primary. General Effect: 14, Size buffed: This technique has range and Aoe governed by a non stat buff technique. Smashing: Techniques which are size buffed that are R28 can smash through materials but grow weaker with each thing they go through. Shigan: Shigan also doing blunt damage doesn't make much sense either but at least damage type change is explained in the description. Just in the cannon I always seen Shigan at it's most basic form being a stabbing motion only. Jyugan I guess was blunt damage but that was a branch of the technique. People should use Damage type change in branchs not the base technique. Piercing as an elite effect doesn't really work with Shigan either. Nerf it by removing both and just making it require a less costing Super speed. Or just keep one or the other, Piercing is all about material breaking not the damage. Tbf maybe raise it's technique rank n power to r26 Soru:
I'm just gonna leave this here. Put Captain Kuro's weakness in and made it's base technique a lower rank but it still unable to gain Elite effects and General effects until later due to the elite effect cost. Soru was said the easiest one of them to learn, Hard to master! This also nerfs everyone who already has it I guess since it's a hard stat and I made it's type neutral so it can be branched into attacks as well(Brook style attacks anyone?). Also gave it free range to encompass how far one can move from where they activated the technique. Linear fashion suits best as well, If you wanna dart around whilst moving you need to have Richochet or Curved projectile. Geppou:
Geppou should be limited not by a massive elite cost for personal flight, But how high in the air they can fly. Starter Geppou would allow people to fly over ground below them quite easily. Geppou pays double for range from ground. Tekkai and Kami-E: I actually don't have anything wrong with these except for the defensive type restriction, Remove that and make it neutral so people can make offensive branchs of these techniques if their character is capable of doing so with the same elite costs for being usable whilst receiving the defense or dodge formula. People could also use these for stealth, Tekkai posing as a statue, Kami slip through things and appear 2D. TL: DR: A bunch of suggestions using the new patchs. Hope people can give comments.
