The white haired captain of the Crimson Angels had been in a particularly sour mood lately and everyone on board the ship was likely aware of this fact. Fortunately enough this was nothing new and in the time that those who were still on board had been around they more or less knew the precautions to take in order to avoid having their heads blown off for something stupid. So how did this come to be? Well, it started only a week ago after they were more or less forced to leave the ship of Bright Eye's commanders on Station Zero after they commissioned them for the job against the government. It was not a bad gig, but the way several things played out just left the Crimson bomber being pretty damn pissed.

The metal man's arms morphed into a chainsaw like weapon that appeared to be more monstrous than machine as it began to tear apart into his bed. Every time he thought back to that job he just felt like breaking something. Needless to say, there was not much left in his room or his lab that was still able to be broken. Beds, desks, chairs, prototype weapon and cybernetic enhancements were in scraps. He did have the foresight to lock away some of the tech that they had snatched up from Station Zero however to be sure that he didn't destroy that stuff as well. It was much too valuable to lose at a time like this. That was pretty much the only thing worthwhile about that job. They didn't gain any notable recognition from the job, those damn Yonkou bastards didn't fill them in on any of the secretive shit that was being kept up there and probably just gave them the scraps in order to shut them up. Hell, Hideo didn't even get the chance to really kill any marines besides some bitch grunts.

Worst of all was probably the fact that the Blue Haired bastard Jolon was still walking around and breathing air. Had things gone his way Hideo would've decapitated and skull fucked the little bastard. But whatever, today would be different. Today they'd finally touch land on Las Arcadas. Vincent apparently had some sort of plan or something that he wanted to look into that involved Arcadia's Lab. Sounded like it was worth checking out and even though Hideo was the captain he didn't have any better ideas in mind for what to do right about now. Perhaps this would be a chance to blow off some steam as well. The marine presence on the island was slightly higher than normal due to the efforts to rebuild the island after what happened with the Shichibukai, the marines, and some bounty hunters or whatever. The details didn't interest him much. What Hideo really wanted to look into was whatever tech and weapons she may have kept locked up in her lab.

Apparently the thing that had gone and destroyed a large portion of the island was a weapon that had been created by Arcadia herself, a fact that made the woman that much more sexy in the eyes of the carnage obsessed man. Just thinking of the things that could be done with whatever may or may not have been leftover was getting him excited. Jolon could wait a bit longer for that beheading that was coming his way.

Hideo was now standing out on the deck, preparing for their arrival. They were of course forced to dock a ways away from where the lab actually was in order to avoid coming into contact with marines right away, but it was no matter. "Alright, hurry it up you shits. We don't got much time before we hit land and set out. We're not wasting any god damn time today." He shouted to the men who simply responded with an "Aye Sir!"

Vincent absentmindedly drummed his fingers against the metal table in his laboratory as his mind went over the event of Station Zero for yet another time. All in all, it was a rather disappointing endeavor, with him and Hideo gaining extremely little from it. Granted that he had managed to find some of the Pacifista parts but unfortunately he did not have the time to fix said robots before they got the hell out of dodge. Furthermore, he did not really know what happened to the weapon that they came to find, whether or not the Yonkou crew that hired them did or not, he did not know since said crew failed to mention anything helpful. The one good piece of news, well two pieces really, was that the pirate had managed to get his hands on some, not a lot but some, amount of tech from the base that would certainly allow him to make further improvements upon his own cybernetics. Unfortunately, further analysis of the parts would have to wait due to the second useful piece of information that he had found during this whole fiasco and that was that Arcadia had built the weapons and the location of her island. Las Arcadas.

After leaving Station Zero, the inventor had gotten as familiar as he could with the island that Arcadia used to call home. It was a rather impressive piece of engineering marvel which was why it was such a shame that it had gotten destroyed. Even if it was by a weapon of unprecedented scale. The doctor had also learned that the Marines were crawling all over the island and undoubtedly had seized everything made by Arcadia that they had managed to get their hands on. While a regular person might wonder if it was even worth going to the island and search through the ruined remains, the first mate knew almost for certain that Arcadia would have some secret room that was filled with all sorts of amazing technology that the Marines would not be able to find. And given his own devil fruit powers, it would not be that difficult to find and enter any secret room, which surely had to exist. After all, any inventor worth their salt would have things hidden away. Hell, he himself had several places on the ship that he had hidden away. It was not much, but it was something.

In any case, it was high time to disembark from the ship and start their search, if the captain's loud voice was anything to go by. Getting up from his chair, Vincent did a once over of his cybernetics, making sure that everything was working, before joining Hideo on deck, his face not obscured by the mask unlike it was back on Station Zero. "Our mission here is rather simple. Find Arcadia's hidden cache of technology that the Marines were unable to find all the while either avoiding or murdering said Marines, your choice." the pirate said calmly as he looked at the approaching island. He hoped that he would be able to find something useful here but lately things haven't really be going his way. It was high time to change that.

The sudden appearance of Vincent on the deck was a welcome change. With their other crew members being so fearful of the cybernetic man they often only responded to Hideo with "yes sir" or any other similar small response. Vincent was pretty much the only one on board who spoke to the teen on equal terms and was able to actually take command of a conversation. while it was nice to have your own little army of ants it did get boring after a while when they didn't have anything of actual value to say. "You make it sound so damn easy." The captain chuckled to himself as they were preparing to touch shore and the men were running about frantically to get preparations done. Hideo didn't feel the need to stop any of them or let them in on their current plans. This was likely a situation where only Vincent and himself would actually leave.

"You're a pretty careful guy though, so I'm sure you have some kind of idea in mind, right?" In the time they spent traveling Hideo had been let in on their goal here, but the way in which it would be done was a mystery to him. At the time he didn't care all that much and was a bit too pissed off to be bothered with hearing out some sort of elaborate plan. Needless to say, actually being here on the island and ready to initiate their plan had gotten the best of his curiosity. "I'm not the usual meticulous and worrisome type and shit, but I guess I'll ask the obvious question here. After the shit show that happened here not too long ago you'd think that the government went and got this place all cleaned up of anything Arcadia had left right? I don't mean to be an asshole, and trust me I love being the asshole, but doesn't this plan seem pretty flawed. Looks like we're gonna waste all day looking around and come up with jack shit."

For the sake of the people on this island they had better hope that the two of them actually found something down there or else the Crimson Bomber would likely just decide to spend his day making their lives a living hell. In the grand scheme of things maybe that wasn't too bad of an alternative now that he thought about it. The teen took a seat at one of the tables on the deck and took a drink from a can of grape soda. He was both thirsty and looking to be fully fueled up before they disembarked. Besides that one from before though Hideo did have another question for the second in command. "So did you find anything to do with any of your Station Zero spoils yet? Not gonna lie, mine have just been gathering dust for a week." He was in much too bad a mood to try and be creative during their time at sea. Also, now that Hideo thought about it, he felt like the two of them were possibly forgetting something...

"Pre, pre, pretty green bud, all in my blunt. Ooooh I need it~"

"Seeet! Seeet!

"We can take off now, oooooh marijuana, yeah~"

The floating pirate continued to sing as he smoked on his pipe, doing a sort of back stroke motion in the air above the ocean. It had been two weeks since he left Flint island and it had been 5 days since the last ship he saw. But of course it had been only a few hours since his ship had sunk leaving him pretty much screwed out here in the middle of the ocean. The teen had managed to save his belongings from the cursed vessel that old fishman bastard sammy gave him, more than anything he saved the herb he was singing about.

"Pre, pre, pretty green bud, all in my blood. Ooooh I need it~"

"Seeet! Seeet!

"We can take off now, oooooh I know you wanna, smoke~"

He was simply singing his troubles away until he smoked himself into a watery grave. At this point it was only a matter of time until he needed to sleep and subsequently be forced to land in the ocean and drown. Luck for him the day was still young. Still he couldn't help but shake the feeling that Sammy was back on Flint laughing his ass off with the good for nothing ship he gave him.

"Was this payback you rat bastard. You was my family brotha, hope you burn in hell for this!" he said cursing sammy's name to high heaven as smoke poured out of his mouth. It was then that a roaring sound caught his ear's attention and brought his eyes towards a ship and a far off island. "Damn brotha, I'm either lucky or Horus really loves me. Fucking divine love right now, I owe ya big guy," he said while kissing the tips of his middle and index finger and raising them to the sky. The pirate began to fly a bit faster to the ship as it was closer than the far off island, finding something a bit familiar with it.

"Seeet! Seeet!

"What the hell?"

His eyebrow raised as he saw the black flag and pirate insignia of the ship, The Crimson Angles, a name that rose even more questions. Why was this all so familiar to him? As he got closer he saw a large metal man on the deck and a man in white and the realization came rushing to him. "Holy shit brotha, the lord is truly wondrous. The hell are you brothas doing out here?" he said yelling at the two men from high above the sky at around crow's nest level. He floated down to the ship, letting his smoke spread as it touch the deck almost like a bit of mist. "Pretty dope looking ship brotha, bet ya got here without sinking huh. Just goes to show ya, neven trust a brotha who swims under the water and not floats above it." a laugh escaped his lips but was suddenly stopped as a realization was made.

"Seeet! Seeet!

"Oh my bad brothas, my manners. Ya wanna hit?" he said offering the pipe to the man in white and the iron giant.

"You know, there is really not that much of a plan." Vincent said a bit sheepishly as he scratched the back of his head. "As far as I know, there should be plenty of ways to get into the underground catacombs and while there is no doubt that the Marines probably raided any place that they could find, the fact remains that there is undeniably some areas that they would not be able to access without someone with my powers and seeing as how I am the only person with such a power, we should be able to find at least one untouched hidden room. After all, I doubt that someone of Arcadia's level of intelligence would be content with just a single hidden room." the pirate said, walking over to the table and grabbing a glass of milk, taking several sips as he returned his attention to the approaching.

"And if do not find anything, and even if we do, then we can always take out some frustration on the Marines after be basically had to run with the tail between our legs." the doctor said the last bit with some vehemence in his voice. While he did not mind withdrawing from fights usually, the fact that he hardly managed to get anything for his troubles, either in the form of his own personal Pacifista or access to the Titanic Weapon, really did not sit too well with him. And since he would rather not go up against any underlings of Bright Eyes to get his revenge, that left the Marines. And since he already had a bounty and the Marines were already after him, there was no danger of gaining a new opponent.

"Yeah, I cannot say that I figured anything out aside from they would be useful. Perhaps something to further upgrade my arms." the inventor mused. Truth be told, he was not entirely sure what he wanted to do when it came to upgrading his body. He was fairly content with how it functioned and how sturdy it was. He was considering upgrading his laser but at the same time, it was not like he got a chance to test it out in the field so he did not really have of a starting point for the improvement. However, Las Arcadas should provide plenty of opportunity to test out his new weapon. And then he could go about his upgrade, whatever it might end up being. Suddenly there was a voice above them and the first mate instinctively reached for one of his knives as he watched a very high looking man descend onto the deck, all wrapped up in smoke. "And who might you be?" Vincent asked, failing to hide a slight look of disgust at the offered pipe.

"Heh this guy, always the clown."

Falcon laughed at the man in white's question, "What's wrong brotha? Forgot me already?" he said blowing smoke out, some of it moving into Vincent's face. But the pirate found himself stopping for a moment and looking around the ship, "Wait a minute... I'm not that high am I? No.. of course not... this is the right place.... is it?" he looked back up at the pirate flag blowing in the wind, it was the same flag he remembered seeing when this ship leave Jaya Island. His attention moved to Hideo and the pieces came together, "Yeah, you guys were them brothas fighting the Fishys a few months back.

Seeet! Seeet!

Falcon breezed passed Vincent and made his way towards the iron hulk, blowing smoke into the air above as he wrapped an arm around the metal man and passed him the pipe. "Although... your face kinda escapes me right now brotha. It's probably the herb tho, been blazing for hours now," he said laughing as he looked at Vincent. To be honest he couldn't recognize him, he had no idea why. But he recognized Hideo, "But this guy, he remembers right brotha? I never forget the face of someone I've cyph with. Whats going on brotha, up for some more hits?" he said laughing. He remembered the Iron man taking a hit from the pipe as he fought the Fishmen that invaded the island.

"Where you brotha's headed anyway?" he said looking ahead of the ship to the island getting closer. "Oh what a coincidence, I needed a ride there... well to any bit of land really. Woulda died out here if you brothas hadn't been passing by. Good luck wouldn't ya say?"

Seeet! Seeet!

He said smiling through his teeth as smoke seeped out.

Not really much of a plan? The Crimson bomber had to let out a laugh at the sound of that. Going in without a plan was usually more the Hideo method. Perhaps the captain was rubbing off on his gas mask wearing companion though. Soon enough Vince would be going around shoving grenades down people's throats and dancing in their blood like some kind of psychopath. A thought that brought would bring tears of joy to his eyes. Despite not having any actual idea in mind however the doctor did bring up good points. Arcadia was both a scientist and a pirate before she was a slave to the World Government. It stood to very good reason that she had her own personal labs and experiments that she worked on that would have been looked down upon by the government. There had to be something they could find around here.

"Ah, I get it now. God damn I'm a dumbass!" He spoke before Vincent even began to go into detail of the use of the doa doa no mi's powers. It not like he could just go around nuking various spots and hoping to blow open an entrance to a secret passage. That fruit did make it much easier to actually to go about this idea. "Still feeling pissed too, huh? Hey even if we do find something we should blow shit up anyway. Come on. You know you want to. Give in to the darkness in your heart and all that bullshit." He joked while playfully jabbing Vincent in the arm. Maybe he actually was changing the man to being more like him with all the time they spent travelling. A scary but fun thought. Truth be told, regardless of what Vincent had to say Hideo would find some sort of excuse to kill someone or break something while they were here. Birds fly, fish swim, and Hideos fuck shit up. That was just nature.

As they grew close to the shore however the cyborg was able to smell a strong odor in the air. It was a light scent at first, but grew stronger by the moment which could only mean it was growing closer. Still, the smell was familiar to him. It had been a while but Hideo felt like he had an idea of who it was. Looking up to the sky the cyborg couldn't help but crack a dumb grin on his face. "Come on Vince, don't be rude. We met him back in the casino a while back." He whispered to the man before turning his attention back to Falcon. "Hey, what up brotha!" He shouted to the smoke man as he floated down to them. He was a fucking weirdo, that was for sure and the fact that he just so happened to show up here right now seemed like way too convenient of a thing. If he was a more careful person this would be questionable....oh well.

"Not much, brutha. We out here bout to steal some shit from the government. Ya know, just our usual shit. What the hell are you doing way the fuck out here anyway? We're almost at the Red Line." He spoke, somewhat mimicking the way that Falcon spoke? Was it racist? Very possibly, but making allies with a guy who had a logia fruit was never too poor of an idea. Besides, with them being as close to the New World as they were the Crimson Angels needed people that were more useful outside of being cannon fodder. How hard would it be to convince some fucking pot head to join their crew? "Anyway, seems we managed to touch land so lets get the fuck out of here. I've been on this ship for long enough as it is." The cyborg commanded, already giving orders to Falcon as if he were a member.

After taking a few minutes to think about it, with the smoke man diverting his attention to Hideo, Vincent started to remember who the man was. Though even though he knew who the man was, the pirate was not entirely too happy to see said man. Granted that having a logia user in the crew, or at the very least around, might be useful, well it would be useful, considering that a logia user would be able to easily get into places without needing a door to be opened, the inventor really did not trust the man. That was partly due to the fact that they just met and partly due to the fact that the man was smoking something noxious and no doubt mind altering thus decreasing his ability to respond positively and usefully when the time came for it. But in any case, the original plan did not include the smoke man into its considerations and the doctor did not see any reason to change that. Hopefully the sudden, unplanned, and a bit unwelcome of the smoke man would not fuck up the plan too much.

Eventually the ship reached land and the first mate was as eager to get off as his Captain. Once disembarked, Vincent surveyed the area around them and confirmed that they landed in the Savage South district. While he learned that the entire island was crawling with Marines, they were the least active in this particular district. Granted that unless they started blowing shit up, which would undoubtedly happen later, the pirate did not think that they would be accosted, even with their bounties. Plus, from what he heard from his sources, Savage South would be the easiest place to enter the Underground. Now that Arcadia's tower was destroyed by her own weapon, the Underground was the most likely place where she could have had a secret room. If the rumors were true, then the Underground was populated by robots that would kill on sight. Given enough robots, even the Marines would probably avoid an area where the hidden room might be. And thanks to his ability, they would be able to avoid the robots altogether, though knowing Hideo, the man might want to let off some steam.

Motioning for the Captain and the smoke man to follow him, the doctor made his way through the district towards the center of the island, having no desire to spend time in the Underground if he did not have to. Surveying all the damage that the island sustained, the inventor could not help but be impressed. Whatever weapon Arcadia used on the island must have been extremely powerful and if he had to guess, it must have been one of the Titanic Weapons. If a single weapon could do this much damage, then the first mate would definitely want to get his hands on it. Vincent couldn't help but feel giddy at the prospect of finding a hidden room and finding something that would bring him closer to fulfilling his desire of having a weapon of such immense magnitude. Finally the trio would reach several holes nearer to the center of the island. "Brings back memories of the pyramid, does it not." the pirate said as he looked down into the darkness before making his way down into the hole.

"You don't say brotha? Sounds like some hard shit. Respect." Falcon said as he floated around the shit laying on his back and looking around. He smoked his pipe and offered it to both men as he made a figure eight around their bodies. "I'm out here looking for an old friend of mine. I gotta have some words with the brotha about right and wrong ways to worship the almighty." He looked at his pipe for a moment then chuckled, "Not like I'm doing it any better but the brotha killing for the wrong name. Can't have that. If ya gonna kill, do it for ya own name, don't crap on the name of the almighty ya know what I mean brothas?" Falcon laughed, the high was good and he was relaxed, no matter how on edge he should have been.

Seeet! Seeet!

"But yeah brothas, it's pretty funny running into you guys out here. what you brothas doing?" he said pausing for a moment as he realised he already asked that question. "Whoops, brain fart," he said as the ship docked and the crew began to exit. The smoke man followed the man in white as he signaled them to followed him, having no real idea where to start his search in this island for the man, Flacon decided it'd be best to stick with familiar faces until something just worked out in his favor. Possible a whisper of a name, or maybe some symbols in some scatter places. Who knows what he was looking for but he knew what it was when he saw it. A loud high pitched whistle escaped the Shaman's lips as he looked around at the island through the lightly tinted shades of his at. "Looks like some hell of a party eh? You brothas sure you wanna go looking for government shit in a place like this?"

He wasn't too sure if the smoke man would actually listen, but the man was surprisingly complacent with the command. Then again he was probably just high out of his damn mind right now and was just up for whatever. Vincent was of course skeptical but didn't have much to say which was good. He'd rather not get into an argument over something that wasn't much of a big deal right now. Besides, they had bigger fish to fry and all. It was good to finally get his feet on to some solid ground. Seeing as the doa user had already gone ahead and taken lead position here Hideo didn't really say anything and instead followed his lead for now. He could preoccupy his time right about now by talking with Falcon. It wasn't much of a conversation though with him constantly blowing that smoke everywhere while he floated around.

"Did not take you for the religious type." He chimed in as they headed further and further into the mainland and deeper into the hellish landscape of this portion of Las Arcadas. Well, they were certainly in the right place and Vincent was still being pretty silent. Judging by the weird path they took to get out here it seemed that he had been leading them around to avoid marines and such. "Man, if there's a heaven and hell though I think hell sounds more like my kind of place anyway. Fire and chaos, suffering, sexy devil girls. It's almost like I wrote the description of the place myself. Give me enough time and I'd make Satan himself my bitch! Kahaha." He laughed along the way. Whatever person Falcon was out here looking for though was probably nowhere near where the two of them were headed. Did he plan on telling this to the smoke man? Not really, once again Hideo was in the mind set of having the logia user around for his own personal gain in much the same way that he and Vincent had led the candy kid around not long ago.

"This is exactly where we want to try and find government shit my man. You should learn as soon as you can that the more dangerous the location the better. That's basically how the Grand Line works. A bit late to be figurin' that shit out though. Hopefully we'll be sailing into the New World soon enough." Hideo stopped speaking right as they arrived at the place Vincent was bringing them to, massive holes in the ground likely caused from that satellites attack. "Sooo, this is it? You lead us to a big ass hole in the ground? I'm not all that impressed Vince? Well, I mean I'm fucking impressed by a weapon that can pull off this type of shit, but not impressed by where we are." He supposed he shouldn't have expected something grand or magnificent to come from this. The area itself was pretty much cleared out, no standing building, no civilians, no marines, just a dead waste of space on the man mad island.

"Memories of the pyramid? That's one way to put it." The metal man responded. There was no way he could forget about that place, the crazy ass tribals that thought he was a god, the desert of crazy animals, and those two assassins that were following them. Most importantly however, that was the place where he had found his devil fruit and had been feeling more and more powerful since. If this was anything like that then they would find some pretty bad ass tech down there and the Crimson bomber would be in for yet another upgrade. Truth be told though, he found himself in a bit of a technological slump since acquiring the Buki buki no mi. His lust for deadly arms more or less filled by having just about anything he wanted right at his finger tips. "Hopefully we don't almost die this time though."

And before he knew it, Vincent had jumped down into the hole. This was not what he had been expecting but mama aint raise no bitch and there was no way he was going to hesitate to get down there and get to business. He kicked off the ground and leaped in right behind the first mate.

The hole sloped downwards at an angle for a bit closer to the surface but after several dozen feet or so the hole turned into a sheer drop. Thankfully Vincent had managed to acquire enough upgrades since their last encounter with dropping down holes that he was able to reach the bottom of the hole without any hardship using the jets on his arms. For now they were of a rather weak variety and were only able to keep his body afloat and to slow down his descent. He would need to work on upgrading the jets so that he would be able to fly around as if he had a flying zoan. Hopefully he would find the necessary equipment and designs down in Arcadia's secret room along with something regarding the Titanic Weapons. The pirate could almost smell the metallic odor of cybernetic parts and the distinct smell of blue prints. But it was probably not the best of ideas to get distracted down here, not when he had no idea what all might be down here. He was certain that the robots were not the only security measure that the ex-Shichibukai might have put into place.

In any case, by the time the trio made it to the bottom of the hole, there was hardly any light around them. The inventor did not think that Hideo would have any problems with the darkness given his helmet but he was not entirely sure how the logia user would deal with the problem. As for himself, the doctor flipped the switch on his own mask, turning on the thermal vision. While it was not the best, the world looking like fifty shades of grey, it was enough for him to differentiate between the walls, the floor, and the empty space which signified the hallway itself. "The more government agents around something, the more important it is." the first mate said, looking down one hallway and then the other.

"And honestly, it does not really matter if you are impressed or not Captain, the fact remains that Arcadia's Tower was destroyed by the weapon so the underground is the only area left where the room could be located. And considering that the area around the destroyed tower is crawling with Marines, its best to avoid drawing attention to us until after we found the room since it will be that much harder to locate said room with the Marines in pursuit. I do not know about you, but I would prefer not to have to worry about the Marines while searching for the room." Vincent continued before finally deciding that the hallway leading directly towards the center of the island would probably be their best bet to start the search. Without any further ado, the pirate started making his way down the hallway.

"I believe all men are the religious type in the end, ya know what I mean brotha?" Falcon chuckled as he finished off what was in his pipe and emptied the ash out onto the ground as they began to move into a dark place. "As for me brotha, I use to be one of the twelve Shaman of Horus. You know, once upon a time." The pirate stuffed his pipe with more of his herb, pushing it down until he felt it was full enough to continue to smoke from. With a flick of a match the pirate saw the dark room for a moment, not enough to give him a good scan but he saw a path to follow behind the group. He puffed on his pipe with the match still lit as he heated up the herb in the bowl, trying to retain a constant ember which took little to no effort. He listened as Hideo explained his theory of an after life, it made Falcon chuckle. In his religion everyone just simply absorbed back into Horus and provided him with life energy for the birth of Ra and the New World. If there was a hell in his religion, it'd be to remain a wandering soul on the planet for all of eternity.

Puff Puff, Seeet! Seeet!

"Be careful what you wish for brotha. The Divine are not always as merciful as they seem." he said smoking on his pipe as he put a hand on the metal man to help guid him through the darkness. "I hope you don't mind brotha, can't see worth a damn in here. I don't know is it you wanna find but you're gonna need some stronger eyes..." he stopped talking and thought about the metal man and the man in white, both had equipment that covered their faces, they were probably prepared for a situation like this. "Never mind." Vincent began to talk to Hideo about a tower destroying weapon and the area being surrounded by marines. Falcon continued to smoke his pipe and try to follow as best he could. Not really understanding the situation, Falcon was just happy to finally be hanging around with familiar faces.

Much like Vincent, Hideo had his own way of slowing his descent into the pit. Considering how quickly the man jumped down Hideo figured he'd be fine and Falcon could just fly anyway so there was no real need to worry. Concentrating his devil fruit powers specifically into his legs they would both suddenly shift into the form of missiles and with a bit of control on the power of their exhaust he was able to guide himself into a steady descent until just a few feet above solid ground before slamming down. "Dark as shit." The man spoke before activating his helmet in order to better see in the dark. He supposed he should have expected this but considering that they were now standing in what appeared to be in a man made tunnel of some sort. Things were much too perfectfor it to be a natural cave. Besides, wasn't this a man made island or something.

"The place looks to be pretty much wiped clean though, hell even the debris and shit has been pushed aside to make room for walkways. Seems the marines already combed this tunnel for anything they could find." Hideo commented aloud, being oddly analytical. It wasn't that he was an idiot, if anything the captain was quite smart. He just had a certain way to how he chose to do things. As hey started to move Vincent spoke and Hideo more or less just ignored what he had to say. Giving the white haired man a lecture didn't make this any less boring. Hell, if anything he was kind of hoping that he'd drop down and seeone of those marines bastards to smack around for a little bit, hehe. As they moved along howevr he did feel a hand on his should that caused his head to do a quick snap to the side to catch sight of what it was.

Truth be told he kind of forgot that Falcon wasn't a tech genius like the two of them and only made sense he'd be lost. Still, he didn't feel like being anyone's seeing eye dog and kind of wanted the stoner to take his damn hands off of him. "I got you covered. Just stop touching me now." Hideo held out a hand, his fingers turning into miniature flamethrwers as he spewed a steady stream of fire. They weren't particularly hot but definitely bright enough to act as a torch in the darkness. Hopefully this would be fine until they reached somewhere that had its own actual lighting.

"Now that I think about it. This is probably one of Arcadia's hidden escape tunnels. Probably unearthed by the damage on the island and the marines. Apparently back when they caught her the marines and some bounty hunters were fighting her down in one of these underground tunnels or some shit." Considering the fact that they were heading further inland then that must have meant the other direction likely lead to the harbor or the shore something. A thought to keep in mind he supposed. "Alright, Vince. You're in charge, keep leading the show, my man." The metal man spoke while staying behind and keeping things lit up for the group.

"From what little I understand, this entire island is a man-made structure, or close to it, and apparently the underground is populated by some sort of robots. So while I am not discounting your suggestion that all the debris might have been cleaned up by the Marines, though I doubt that they would find anything this far away from the center, it is also quite possible that it was the robots that cleaned this up by simply following their programming of being custodians and what not. Granted I have no idea how hostile they might be so it is best to remain on guard. I trust that you will watch my back?" Vincent said as he took a slight detour to the nearest wall. Touching said wall, the pirate could feel that the material seemed like it was melted by some intense heat and since it was doubtful that there were any natural occurrence of such high heat down here so perhaps what Hideo was saying was true and this one of the tunnels down which Arcadia had fled during her ill fated escape. Either way, this was in the past and they had to focus on the future.

As the inventor carefully made his way down the hallway, the only sound aside from their talking was the fall of their footstep. He was not entirely sure how he felt about that fact. On one hand, it probably meant that there were not any enemies around but at the same time, the noise would probably alert anyone nearby to their whereabouts. He was confident that could minimize the amount of noise coming from his footsteps and it looked like the smoke man was simply floating in the air so aside from talking there was not much noise coming from him. That left his captain and the first mate doubted that it was possible for that man to be quite even if he tried. Lost in thought, Vincent only barely had time to see something flash some ways down the hallway before disappearing. Seeing as his thermal sensors did not pick anything up, could that have been one of the robots? "I think there was something moving up ahead. Stay on your guard." the pirate said quietly as he peered into the darkness, hoping to catch some more movement. But whatever it was, it did not decide to show itself again.

Populated by robots? The man's eyes lit up behind his mask at the thought. He had heard about the Shichibukai being capable of creating sentient machines that could function by her command but didn't even consider the possibility of actually running into one. Now if he could get his hands on some tech like that then this would be a good day. If they were programmed to attack however retrieving one of those machines intact would be nearly impossible for Hideo with his...methods. Ah well, if not then he'd just scrape up what they could get. The white haired pirate was never the picky type. "When have I ever not had your back, dumbass?" The man laughed as they continued to press on through the corridors, now hanging close to the walls for whatever reason. Honestly there were probably a few times where they didn't have each others backs, but at this stage of the game Vince was his only good man. If he died then the plans Hideo had for the future would be significantly slowed.

Much like Vincent however, Hideo would also notice the slight sign of motion at the end of the hall, it wasn't much but considering no one was supposed to be down here it was enough to put them on guard. Well, put Vincent on guard anyway, the teen had no intentions of backing down. Instead of halting his pace and trying to continue to sneak he instead simply walked ahead of the group now. It seemed whatever moved was also not keen on being seen by them. Not that it mattered. "Come on now. If you show yourself now I'll probably let you live. I'm not a big fan of the type of person that sneaks around and doesn't show his face you know." The pirate echoed down the corridor while picking up his pace a bit. If someone was actually down here then chances were they could probably show them how to navigate down here after a bit of 'coercing'.

He was almost certain that Vincent didn't necessarily approve of what he was doing right about now, but things would be fine. He was the captain after all. Rounding the corner now where they had seen the person in question leave their sight he was greeted by something at least. That something being the sight of corpses, several of them lying out on the ground further down the hall and bleeding on to the metal. "Ah, the sight of blood and death. Nothing makes you feel more alive." He joked while looking around. The bodies of those in question seemed to be marines from the looks of things and if anything their corpses were relatively new. Perhaps out here for a day at most, although he'd have to run that estimation by the first mate to be sure since he was the doctor among them.

"I've heard of rolling out the red carpet for important guests, but I don't think this is exactly what that phrase means, huh?" He laughed at his own Joke while motioning for Vince and Falcon to come over.
