Breathing heavily after the brutal impact Jackery pushed himself to his feet. He did not have even moments to spare, the short wall would not delay the bounty hunter for long since the man could quickly climb over or possibly even break his way through. A pair of well polished black boots came into his sight and as Jackery rose he was now face to face with the marine captain. While the officer was armed none of his weapons were readied that Jackery could spot but that did nothing at all to lessen the sense of danger he was feeling from the soldier.

"Oh, what a coincidence running into you here Captain. Let me give you a hand getting up." The marine spoke carefully and fairly softly as he held out a hand for Jackery to take. The pirate made himself seem to have ignored it but some sense of trained instinct almost caused Jackery to go into a stiff stance and properly salute the man before his overriding instructions kicked in. Now was not the time for old habits. The marine did not seem to take offense but did step back after Jackery was on his feet just to put enough distance to react to any attack that may happen.

"I doubt it is that, I am busy at the moment so could you make this conversation quick?" He answered roughly given how much his face hurt from the beating he had taken already. He did not know the marine's game because under anything resembling normal circumstances the officer would have killed or incapacitated Jackery by now.

Tilting his head the marine shrugged. "Well you are correct about that, I was actually looking for you because it seems someone had informed a set of bounty hunters in this area that you and the crew of your escort vessel were not a civilian merchant ship and a mercenary but were in fact the pirate crew known as the Crimson Pirate Remnants. Now normally I would be easily able to clear all problems up but besides this place being outside of my...jurisdiction there are also hmm... political restraints on me at this moment. If you and the others would be willing to surrender to protective custody I think all of our problems could be dealt with a lot easier."

Easier was not the word most people would have used in that situation, but this had to be thought through very carefully and Jackery did not have the time to deal with it as the bounty hunter appeared, smashing his way through the wall as had been expected. Jackery was hit with a full force of the debris but completely noiselessly the marine had used some sort of custom Soru to silently change position to avoid being hit by even the dust.

Blade paid little attention of Shadow as he took on the three. It wasn’t that he didn’t care or anything, and surely he’d intervene if the need occurred. But right now, he had to find out where Ant had flown off to! While Shadow fought the others, Blade kept his nose to the ground and walked along the roofs. He was searching for anything, a hair, even a hint of a scent to give him an idea of where to go. The thought crossed his mind to put a flare gun on Ant, although, such an item would probably just burn the plumage right off the bird’s frail body. So, reluctantly, he shelved that idea and continued to sniff. He hoped across two closely standing roofs and finally found what he was looking for! Caught on the edge of a grey clay tile was a blue-green feather that shimmered softly in the sun, and the scent matched.

Snatching up the feather, Ant saw flashes of weapons and the sounds of fighting in the far distance. His body tensed in anticipation, the fight was far from over. He didn’t wait for Shadow before he took off, jumping between the buildings in a straight line toward the fighting. Or rather, to the best of his abilities given the off shape of the streets. Not many architects lived on this island it seemed. He continued to run, until he came to a huge wall that stretched over many of the buildings. It looked like a primary connecting wall of sorts. Blade snarled, he was not in the mood. He sniffed at the wall for a moment, it looked like a simple enough wall, made of clay bricks, and hardened by the sun and smoothed by the sand. He shifted into his hybrid form. “Watch out.”, Blade said as he unleashed a two huge punch. Not that it was much of a warning as he said watch out mid-strike. “DOUBLE WOLF STRIKE!”, he roared as his fists smashed into the rock. The air around him exploded as the wall creaked and cried and crumbled as if it were in pain. The stones shifted, gave way, and crumbled into pieces at the captain's feet. But, the wall wasn’t particularly stable.

With a huge hole in it, a large crack started to rip up the wall, all the way to the top, and in a mighty rumble, it all came down. Like unorganized dominos, it fell upon itself and nearly the entire wall was destroyed. With no obstacle, he could clearly see the fighting now. He lifted one of his fists, blowing some dust from it and looked at Shadow. “I think I hit it do hard.”, the collapse of the wall created a huge smoke cloud that covered many streets around them, including the battle field. “This is out change.”, Blade said as he leapt across the final roof and free fell into the fray.

Finishing the hunter quickly, Wolf's gaze followed as Blade moved alongside rooftops. He was seemingly searching for something. Did he lose his contacts? Wait, does Blade wear contacts or glasses even? Well he is older, and in dog years he had to be hundred at least... All good questions, but now's not the time to get those answers. Jumping alongside the rooftops, he almost caught up to Blade but for a reason he quickly rushed away from Wolf. "I know we are not on the best footing, but we can still be in a closer proximity like normal people.." Well he didn't probably hear Wolf, as he stood there watching Blade rush away. As wind howled, it carried something with it that caught Wolf's sight. Catching it midst flight, he saw that it was a feather. Looking at it closely, he recognized it as one of Ant's feathers.. Now he got why Blade rushed away "So it wasn't about me after all, haha.." For a second he felt good, that a smile sneaked through but sudden sounds of swords clashing and bullets flying snapped him out of it. He started running, the same way that Blade went. It was a while since he felt a cold breeze on his face, as he free ran over the empty streets. For a moment he felt free, like he didn't for a while. Getting stuck at sea for a certain period of time does that to you, you get anxious and can't wait to feel solid ground. As he caught up to Blade, he could see him staring at a giant wall.

Jumping near him, he would walk smidge past him and speak "Well, guess we will have to find anoth..". As capt's word were spoken, Wolf's eye's widened, his speech slowed down, as he realized he was to close.. way to close to the wall. The attack connected, utterly decimating the wall and with it, smoke spread, pebels flew as few of them hit Wolf one even knocking him prone. Still on the ground, he turned onto his back but his vision was obscured. The smoke covered everything, but breathing came easier as he still wore his mask. As a couple of sunshine ray's sneaked through he could see a big crack that was forming alongside the length of the wall. He just watched, as the whole wall began falling down. For few moments it's like the whole world stopped, as he started pushing himself away with his hands and feet. His heart was racing, as he saw giant boulders fall down next to him or where he was before. After that traumatic experience was over, Wolf stood up, covered in dirt. As he cleaned himself up he spoke "Damn this was scary" He can take on any opponent, any time, but if he was to get burred alive he would panic like a little girl. Something about being burred alive bothered him.. Never mind that, still woozy after this whole incident he saw images fighting through the dust that has risen. After a couple of moment's, Blade jumped in and only thing that was left was for Wolf get in on the action as well.. in a minute.

Spitting gravel and dust Jackery tumbled and finally came to a stop against a tree which he used to pull himself to his feet and tried to ready himself against an attack from either the bounty hunter or the marine. Even if the marine did not jump into the fight his presence served as enough of a distraction that Jackery knew he would not win this fight meaning escape was his best option. Raising his hand he managed to deflect an incoming blow from the bounty hunter which struck the tree causing a large chunk of the wood to blast out a shower of splinters. The other fist did a piledriver into Jackery's solar plexus causing all of the breath to blast out of the pirate's lungs, and as he was bent forward the hand that had struck the tree grabbed onto the back of his head and pulled him forward and down onto the ground into an uncontrolled roll.

Unconsciousness threatened and there was very little Jackery could do to fight against it. Pulling the last wisps of his willpower together he sent another blast of mental energy into the cyborg mercenary captain who stood over him about to finish off his victory. Somehow Jackery had kept a hold onto his rapier and the sword raised up with the hilt against the hard packed ground as the man stomped down. The point of the blade went through the hunter's foot, the force of the stomp had been enough to push the blade through the hard armor coating, it could not have worked without the mental blast distracting the man for a bare moment but now his enemy was off balance enough for Jackery to go onto the offensive. Holding onto his weapon he pushed himself with his legs to slide away while pulling the weapon upward and causing the hunter to fall away. It would only buy him a couple of seconds so Jackery abandoned the still embedded weapon and turned to the marine captain.

"Your point has been taken, I am willing to make a deal." He spoke, mindful of the hunter.

The marine's face broke into a very wide grin and before Jackery could react a pistol appeared in the marine's hand and a bullet went through the bounty hunter's skull. This marine had taken down a man who was fairly easily beating Jackery and had seemed to expend no effort whatsoever to do so, a single action not even seeming to be worth mentioning demonstrating just how above this man was to Jackery and again making it clear that the doctor was far, far out of his depth here in the grand line. "Okay merchant captain, there happens to be something that the Crimson Pirate Remnants know which has been worth sending nearly an entire fleet after them. I decided that it's time for me to retire and something like that has to be worth enough to do so on. If you can tell me what it is and where I think your problems today will be over."

Things weren't looking good for Jackery to say the least, Ant wanted to jump in and try and help out, but something rather unexpected came up. Ant was on high alert, he was pretty sure he'd notice if somebody was sneaking up on him but apparently not. He was only given the faintest warning from a creaking roof tile before a knife was being thrown at the back of his head. Ant barely moved to the side in time, before seeing the blade changing direction mid-air and flying straight towards his face, Ant cottoned on pretty quick, there were wires involved and if he wasn't careful he'd get tangled in them. He made a quick handspring backwards as his assailant grabbed the knife back in her hand, aiming a two footed kick to the chest which was swiftly avoided causing Ant to almost go tumbling off the roof.

He caught his first glimpse of his assailant, a rather slender, toned and generally very attractive red headed woman. Under any other circumstances, Ant would flirt, but in a rooftop battle with Jackery also in danger? Probably not for the best. Ant rushed in with a flurry of slashes and gunshots but this woman seemed to gracefully float between them, parrying and dodging each blow. These slippery opponents were hard to deal with but Ant had a plan, he was keeping up his assault, slowly pressuring this woman into the corner of the roof with nowhere to run.

It was certainly a good plan, but when the moment came the woman managed to throw a dagger into the roof ten meters away and swing along the edge. Damn this woman was good, he fired a few shots after hear and heard one of them make contact, but it wasn't good enough. As the woman was swinging further down the roof a wire around Ant's leg became tight, throwing him off balance and hanging over the edge of the building, shit, she'd outplayed him completely. Ant quickly cut himself free of the wire, not wanting the wire to cut any deeper than it already had.

Slamming into the ground Ant groaned in pain briefly before heading a gunshot and seeing the woman pointing a knife at his throat moments later. So this is how it was going to end huh? A beautiful woman smiling down on him before he dies, he guessed there were worse ways. Though apparently, his life was to be spared today as the knife was pulled back, the woman seemingly losing interest "You're cute, I'll let you off this time but next time you won't be so lucky" that's what she said at least, but her boss had been killed and there was no way she was going to join him, he paid her but a dead man doesn't pay..... Unless a certain red head was to loot his stash and make off with it before her "colleagues" could catch up with her of course. Ant rubbed his head, gaining his bearings before trying to think what he should do next.

With a small smirk to herself, Blair began to twirl her dagger around her hand. The tattooed man seemed to be wary of her now, a whole new atmosphere having been born through her actions. Despite her sizeable bounty, not all of her actions had been reported. For instance, many would have been surprised to have heard that she tended to frequent underground fighting tournaments. Having joined one with her own crew for the prize of a devil fruit and yet another on her own when she wished to prove her own strength whilst in the Blues. Here int he Grand Line, the porspect of joining another one of these tournaments was all the more enticing. The man before her was someone with a Threat level that would have caused many to look at him with awe within the Blues, but her own bounty could strike fear to an entire island, not including the fact that her captain was someone with an even higher bounty.

As she clasped the knife in her hands, she studied the odd gauntlets strapped to her opponents arms. They appeared to be of a high quality make, the gauntlets letting out large metallic clangs as two pistons locked into place. Nodding to herself, she realised that she'd have to make quick work out of him, knowing full well that these types of guys worked off of their powerful strength to take down their prey. Thankfully, Blair was an expert on taking powerful blows.

Darting forwards, she made a quick swipe towards the man's chest, which he swiftly blocked with a rising fist, using his gauntlet to take the blow before smacking her knife away. Using the force of the blow to let her spin around. Ducking down, she allowed one of her feet to swing out, the knife that was hidden within the foot of her boot shot out, catching the man by his feet. With a snarl Red Skull raised both hands, clasping his fingers together. "Skull Basher!" he cried, bringing both of his fists down, catching Blair by her shoulder and slamming her to the ground. As her body rolled along the ground, she was caught by the Bounty hunter's boot, kicking her into the air only for him to follow up with an uppercut. "Brain Rattler!" he roared, the pistons in his gauntlets activating and sending her flying up into the air. As her dark body whisked up into the skies above, she could do little but flail her arms about, the man readying another punch for her final descent.

Taking a deep breath, she reorganised her body, the arm that held her knife entering into the familiar pose of the Budget Cut technique. The man let out a grin as she did so. "Ha! You think I'd fall for something as simple as a shockwave?! We're in the Grand Line, girly, you're going to have to do something much better than that to gain the upper hand!" he grinned, readying himself to evade in the opposite way of the wind strike. Her eyes narrowing while her tongue ran along her bottom lip, she let out a large slash from her knife, the power behind it releasing a blast of compressed air.

As the technique crashed down to earth, Red Skull hopped to one side, expecting to have evaded the technique, but as he watched the technique, his eyes opened up wide to see another blade of air appear behind it. "You're right," Blair called out, the new technique tearing down and across the man's front. "I do have to do better if I want to keep gaining the upper hand."

With that, Red Skull's eyes lit up in fury, a slash mark running down along the side of his face from where he got hit. Rearing back his fist, he threw himself forwards, which Blair did the same. Both fighters would cross paths for a moment as both techniques would clash against each other. Blair holding her knife out with both hands, whilst the man had his fist straightened out. As a moment passed, Red Skull's gauntlet split apart along the middle, a large gash forming along the back of his arm before blood would poor out. Falling to his knee, he turned to face Blair, who calmly stood up and looked back towards her opponent. "Seems I win," she stated, right before belting her opponent across the face, knocking him out. "That's for the bruise I'm going to wake up with tomorrow," she muttered, turning away and walking back towards the boat.

"I wonder what the guys will think,"[/color[ she gigled, blissfully unaware that they were off facing their own enemies.

Blade shook some of the pebbles and dust from his hair. The destruction of the wall made everything hard to see, like a heavy cloud of destruction. He coughed into his hand, wiping his eyes a little as he stumbled a little. Even though he was the one who broke it, he admittedly wasn’t entirely sure it would cause this sort of destruction of hinder everyone in this sort of way. Blade did his best to wade through the smoke as he said, “Find Anthony and Jackery.”

After a few moments of stumbling, he came across the remains of earlier battles. He knew they were getting closer to their comrades. In the distance, figures appeared in focus. And as the cloud of destruction dispersed, Blade began to catch scents again. Gunpowder, blood, sweat, and so on. He rubbed his nose as he walked, unable to do much with so much dust up his nose at the moment. It would take him days to get his sense of smell back to full. Assuming they lived that long anyway.

As they approached, Blade recognized one of the three figures. One was up, then their was Jackery, and a body on the ground. And it didn’t seem like Jackery was doing well, the doctor had clearly been matched, if not nearly bested. Blade narrowed his eyes and whispered to Wolf, “Go find Ant. If Jackery’s in trouble, Ant may be as well.”, Blade slowly shifted into her animal form. Keeping low to the ground, he did his best to creep slowly, and nearly silently. If he could catch this guy off guard, maybe Jackery had a chance. Of the two of them, Jackery was more likely to come up with a good plan. Blade was more of a brute force sort of fello. He didn’t even growl as he approached, and undoubtedly, Jackery would see a large blue wolf, even if most of his blue fur was covered in thick dust, making him look more like the color of the bricks and ground.

With his head still woozy, Wolf had trouble walking, let alone jumping into the fight. As the dust risen, he started waving his hand's so that at least he sees where Blade was going. With ringing in his ears, mixed with clashing of swords and gun fire he had trouble understanding what capt. said. He slowly followed, passing through the broken wall to see two figures standing over a body. He couldn't make out the figures of people. Blade turned and spoke to Wolf, now with little less commotion, he understood the order he was given to. He nodded, popping his hood back on and his mask, climbing onto the nearest rooftop. On a higher vantage point he could see things a tad better, and locating Ant should be easier. Getting up to the roof was harsh, as his adrenaline was going down, so the wound he got from that knife started hurting badly. Placing a hand over it, he tried to apply some pressure but he could see blood dripping from it. He needed Ant more than he needed Wolf probably. Looking over the town, that turned into utter chaos since the Fang's arrived, he had trouble locating him, and thus was strange since he was a frikin peacock... Wolf started moving alongside the rooftops, carefully trying to avoid any gunman that stood and watched over, but Ant was nowhere to be seen. "How hard can it be to find a strange bird-man on this island?" he talked to himself, already frustrated, when a gun shot passed him.

He quickly dodged, turning his head towards the point of attack. He noticed two man, aiming their guns at him and another one on a rooftop near them. "Damn, I'm out on the open like this. Need to deal with this quickly" he spoke, grunting as he pressured his wound again with his hand. He looked them directly, his pink gaze piercing the dark visage he had, one of them even steeping back. As he awaited their movement, he didn't move, not showing any sign of the unbearable pain he was in, as one of them twitched and pointed the gun at him. Shadow rushed to the side. He was fast, but not fast enough as one bullet grazed his leg. He didn't stop, as he knew if he falls now he is dead. He gritted his teeth, pushing through the pain, whilst still pressuring his wound he used the other hand to pull out his katana. He jumped in between rooftops tossing it directly at the man that hit him, it impaling his chest as he would than grab the chain and pull the katana out, tugging it back to him. He would not grab it now, but wold stand and look at the other two whilst spinning his chained blade. He preferred this stance, as he was in no condition for a close quarter fight, and he presumed they wouldn't let him get in closer than he already is. Reacting to his comrades death, the third hunter pulled out his gun, aiming and firing non hesitantly. Shadow reacted quickly, dodging it by a mere second before he would attempt a second attack like this, but alas it won't work twice. He is not used to fighting with one weapon, but he will need to relieve the pressure and use his other katana if he was to beat the two. As soon as the pressure was off, blood came running as he coughed blood. "That knife did hit the mark.." he smiled strangely. Gunfire caught his attention again, as this one hit his leg, now he really wouldn't be able to run away. He fell to his knee for a moment, before pushing himself off with his katana. Standing up, he looked at the two. They were pretty close, and he thought of a way he could end this quickly. To draw their focus, Shadow started running and in the same time started slashing and attacking them with his chained katana. They were forced to move and dodge, and keeping a straight figure to shoot was not possible. It gave him great advantage, as getting closer was easier than expected. They had great fire power but little to no close combat expertise. As blade's came a rushin he attacked faster and faster creating a vision barrier that overcame the hunters. The first one didn't even notice that Shadow came so close, it took him but a second to jump up and slash down on the man, opening his torso up. The last remnant of the attackers stood there, while blood splattered over Shadow's getup. He pulled his gun, aiming at him but his hand's were shaky. He fired, the gun fazing by as it missed him completely. Shadow just started walking towards him, one step at the time and so did the hunter. He tried backing away but came to the edge, stumbling and falling over. He managed to hang on the edge, but he would have better been off falling than facing what's to come. Shadow stepped over, looking down on him. His gaze pierced the very soul he had, as his katana went through the man's hand holding him in place.

"Now, now, we wouldn't want you falling off now would we?" The hunter screamed in pain, but it's to late now. "You didn't, by any chance, stumble apon a bird like pirate around here?" but the man gave no response. "Now don't be shy, I promises I'll let you go once you answer me.." he spoke as he twisted the blade, the man screaming even more. "He is dead" he spoke and Wolf's mind stopped for a moment. "She is after him, and no one shall escape her grasp" the man now cynically laughing. Shadow's look turned darker, as anger overtook him. He dropped the katana he held in his other hand, pulling the man up with his hand. Holding him by his neck with one hand, he pulled the katana out of his hand, as he yelled. Shadow's look petrified the man, as he had nothing else to say, and don't think he would have. He just looked at him, thinking of ways to release his anger as he heard a familiar voice. "Ant" he yelled. His attention shifting from the man to the location of that voice. He got so caught up that he even forgot he was holding somebody as he just loosened his grip, the man falling down right onto his back crashing in the dirt. He didn't care if he survived or not, he just knew he had to find Ant before it was to late to save him, or for him to save Wolf..

Ant stood up, cracking his back a little and stretching to try and ease some of the pain he was in. It wasn't too bad compared to what he'd been in before so he figured he'd be able to cope anyway. Next priority was reloading his weapons, counting the bullets he was starting to run low, he only had enough for two more reloads on him so he had to be careful. Also on his mind was the fact he'd been seen, they seem to have learnt the outlines of his fighting style so maybe it was time to switch it up. He attached the swords to his keychain, shrinking them down as he detached his staff and split it into two, securing each half around his waist for easy access.

Right, there was still stuff going on everywhere so, for now, he'd have to zone in on one sound and go to it. If it wasn't his allies he'd just have to have walk it off and try again. He closed his eyes, steadying his breathing as he started to break down the layers of sound and picked one at random. Breaking out into a full sprint, Ant's eyes scanned the area and soon enough he caught the sound of Shadow's voice not too far away.

He arrived just in time to see a man falling, he acted out of instinct and caught him even though he knew Wolf had basically thrown him off, and given the fact Wolf just shouted his name he was probably interrogating him. Well, he didn't expect that from Wolf. Whilst his instincts may have made him catch the man, conscious thought quickly took over and he headbutted the man knocking him out cold. He dumped the body on the floor. If it wasn't such a serious situation he'd probably patch the man up but he didn't have time for now.

He jumped up onto the roof, speaking as he did "Well you look worse for wear" Ant might have been roughed up but he didn't have any signs of injury beyond dirty clothes. There was no way he was going to admit he got his ass handed to him by a girl who only spared him because he was apparently cute. Partly because he was proud, and partly because he knew they'd mock him for the reason which was almost certainly a lie.

He wanted to take the piss but once again now was not the time and the conversation quickly took a turn for the serious "I'll patch you up as soon as we get back to the ship, but have you seen Blade or Jackery? We need to get back as soon as possible" at least he'd get a lot more hands-on experience for his medical skills, that was one thing he certainly wasn't going to be short of as a pirate.

Jackery really did not turn his back on the marine captain but the sound of another person approaching forced him to spin away from the arrogant looking marine who was already pocketing his prize. He saw the source of the third presence to be Blade, instantly recognizable through the dirt and signs of a scuffle. Allowing the leader of the Blue Fangs to attack the marine would instantly void the progress Jackery had made in securing everyone's escape from the situation. He addressed Blade instantly and directly, intending that his intent would not be taken wrong while maintaining the polite fiction the marine officer had held up. "Captain, the officer and I have spoken and the misunderstanding about our identities has been cleared up. The marines will be dealing with the over eager bounty hunters but both of our ships must leave the island immediately."

Stopping only to collect his nearest fallen weapons Jackery absently brushed away some of the dust from his clothes even as he walked straight past Blade while giving the appearance that he was giving the officer no more concern than he would to any other inanimate object. The hardest part was hiding how much his body hurt right now, if either the marine or Blade decided to start something Jackery knew pretty damn well he would not be able to contribute much to his side. Managing to make it to the main street just past Blade without incident he saw that the marine had so far kept his word, somehow a signal had gone out and the man's crew was in the process of arresting the mercenaries while pointedly ignoring the member of Jackery's crew who was running towards him.

It was Mr. Gremyashchy and the man looked like had urgent news. Stopping just in front of Jackery the older man gave a firm salute and quickly but quietly reported that two separate marine ship squads had just arrived. Holding out his hand Jackery was handed the officer's spyglass which he trained onto the distant sea to spot what was going on. "They intercepted each other?" He questioned out loud, as indeed the two sets of vessels were not spreading out to blockade the port or moving within range of the two disguised pirate vessels. The squads were also completely dis-similar, with one being the all too familiar looking advanced escorts of the same type as the Nemo, likely still with their torpedo racks though, and the other squad was the more typical wooden hulled sailing ships.

Returning the spyglass Jackery gave an order. "We leave now while we still can, pass word to Nemo, we will take the Blue Fangs aboard if they wish but we have a very limited window to work with."

After having returned to the deck of the ship, she began to follow the adventures of the large mooks, who were busy making stock of the items they had purchased not a few hours ago. Assisting where she could, it was largely left in the capable hands of the individuals she had employed. Following one man in particular, her tailing had lead her to kitchen. It was clear from his movements that he felt self-conscious with the First Mate overlooking his unpacking of supplies, nevertheless, he did a sufficient job without having dropped any of the food he had gotten a hold of.

Left to her own devices within the kitchen, her spine quivered at the thought of Ant performing any tasks within the area. She had nothing against the man himself, in fact, she found his antics to be quite enjoyable, but his lack of cooking skills was something that caused her own stomach to wretch. Opening a cabinet, she knew that the bookworm had to have a number of volumes on cooking stored away somewhere. After plucking one of the many books she had found within the section, she quickly skimmed through it, finding that she best hurry before Ant comes in. Finding a recipe that she thought would be easy enough, she began her venture of attempting her hand at cooking.

Taking the various ingredients that the book had listed, she began to follow its instructions, working with a certain skill and fluidity that she hadn't known before. Could it be that she was the chef that the crew had been searching for all along? Maybe the crew would finally cease consuming the questionable dishes that Anthony Tanken had been creating. Or maybe he was just incredibly untalented that he couldn't stop himself from creating atrocities.

With a soft chuckle, Blair continued on with her work. "Sorry Ant~" she cooed, hoping that he didn't recieve any ill will from her.

Blade paused for a moment as he got closer. At first, he thought that Jackery had been in danger, the smell of blood was everywhere. He dug his claws into the gravel, and for the moment did not attack the figure in front of Jackery. Even though he didn’t attack, his muscles were still tense, his eyes narrowed and his fur stood on end. When Jackery spoke, Blade’s ears perked forward. He stood up, getting out of his stalking position. He nodded simply, not trusting himself not to say something offensive or that might trigger the marine. He stepped back, but still never dropped his gaze from the man, for he didn’t trust him. Blade only turned his back to follow Jackery down the road.

Blade trotted behind Jackery, glancing over his shoulder every few paces still from paranoia. He could also smell blood, Jackery’s Blood. However, the other didn’t reference it, and Blade respected the other’s will. Normally he would have offered something, to be carried or a ride or something, but Jackery wasn’t really the sort of man. Like Blade, he was stubborn, and had both pride and a fierce will to not die. As he walked beside him, Blade wondered how Jackery had spent his time. He wondered, what adventures he had gone on, who he had meet, and who he had loss. There wasn’t much else to do, and Blade wasn’t about to run off and leave Jackery behind. However, silence wasn’t much Blade’s style anymore. At one point, he didn’t even speak, but these days, his crew had drawn out a more human talkative spirit.

Yet, before he even got a word out, someone else appeared. Blade didn’t have a spyglass to look out at what was going on, but he knew what danger felt like. He looked at Jackery, “Our ship is damaged but she can still run. I’ll grab my ship, you take care of yours. If you find any of my crew, drag them aboard if you must.“, Blade ran off. He looked as he ran, searching for Ant and Wolfe as he moved toward the docks. Surely the pair were intelligent enough to head toward the docks after being attacked….right?

Letting the hunter fall, he felt as his vision began to blur. Stumbling on the roof, he would partially began falling, before stabilizing himself but it was harder and hared each time. He felt his wound opening up quite a bit, as his pressure on in wasn't enough. Looking around, he noticed somebody jumping onto the roof that he was at. As he approached Wolf, he saw some familiarity with the man, but after his voice he recognized it and smiled. "Finally found you, need to save your ass every time, don't I?" he spoke as he began collapsing. He fell onto his knees, as blood gushed from his mouth, through his mask. He removed it, to allow himself more room to breathe but it didn't help much. Attempting to stand up, his arm felt weak, but he managed. Ant might think his question got ignored, but Wolf didn't know where Blade or Jackery were, and he wanted to get to a safe place as soon as possible. "I think we need to find a way to escape this mess first, than go look for them. Didn't want to say this, but you look quite beaten up, you might not be able to fight anymore" with that sarcastic smile he passed Ant, stepping onto the edge of the building.

"We should head to the ship first, they may have gone there". Looking over, he could still see sign of battle across the town, but strangely he saw marines filling the streets. He didn't know what was going on, but they needed to get out of there fast. "Marines are coming, we need to get out.." he stopped, covering his mouth, as he coughed blood. "Damn, this is getting troublesome". He jumped onto the next roof, turning back to see if Ant would follow. "Come one, we don't have time to dillydally" he spoke as he continued rushing across rooftops. It was quite painful, and he felt as he could have collapsed anytime but he gritted his teeth and pushed himself. After a couple of jumps, he noticed that he was not as stealthy as he thought he was, and saw a marine or two look at him, but just pass along. He pondered on a strange idea, that Jackery might have said to ignore us so we get back to the ship safely, which would prove his theory that Jackery was an undercover marine.. He looked at Ant, as he was about to say something, but than he stopped. He knew he would dis his idea, say he was crazy but he needed to prove it to himself. Once he had proof, he would represent it to the crew.. For now it's only speculation, but he might find something in his cabin. After, he would let Ant take the lead, as he kinda felt slower as time went by.

Well then, Wolf seemed a bit worse for wear yet he was still acting tough. Ant rolled his eyes and casually quipped back "I could still kick your sorry ass" not that it would be hard given he was coughing up blood. That was serious, it meant he had internal bleeding, and he not only risked dying from exsanguination, and from choking or drowning in his own blood. None of which were particularly nice ways to die.

Escape, yeh, that was a good plan. If Wolf's condition wasn't quite so serious he'd probably smack him one for that last comment. He'd always save it for later, Ant had a good memory for things like this. This was getting serious, Wolf kept talking even though he was still coughing blood, he had to save his energy. After a few roofs, Ant realised he was having to go slow for Wolf, and he couldn't go at this pace. Ant shifted into his hybrid form, leaning down as he ran to scoop Wolf onto his shoulder as he starkly picked up his speed despite carrying a load "Shut up and learn your limits pup" making a not so subtle joke about Wolf's name.

It wasn't long before they got to the ship, given they could run in a straight line and had plenty of motivation. Ant quickly rushed Wolf down to the medical room, and passed him some tablets, pausing briefly to check they were the right ones "Take two of these to slow the bleeding.... and this is why you shouldn't mess with the order of my stuff. And stay here, if you try to fight you could die" Ant rushed back up to the top deck to see who was coming, giving anybody who arrived the quick once over. If that somebody wasn't a member of the crew though, they'd get a very different kind of once over that'd require medical treatment which he wasn't going to give.

Leaving Blade to go his own way, Jackery raced to meet up with his crew at his best speed while keeping an eye out for Wolf as the new transfer had not yet been briefed on the procedure the Nemo's crew was to use in this situation. Not quite at the docks themselves but at the nearby shore with a lot of open space for the crew to spot any attackers the pair of longboats awaited for the arrival of Jackery and the few other ashore crewmen. Some of them were being carried by the others having suffered severe injuries in the battle. Seeking out the highest ranking of them Jackery called him out to report and discovered that before the ambush a load of supplies had already been taken to the Nemo including, thankfully, an already set logpose to the next island.

Getting on the most full of the two boats Jackery indicated that the second was not to wait long for any others before setting off itself. The two groups of marine ships were sure to figure out what was going on fairly quickly and while the Nemo would hopefully have an advantage in speed even against the other ships of its same class because of lighter loading it would take time to get up the steam pressure to reach it. Less injured than some of his crew Jackery assisted in the rowing and climbed aboard his ship to find it already a scurry of activity. Inside the wooden structures hiding the Nemo's heavy six inch naval rifles a stockpile of shells had been lifted up from the armory beneath the turrets. While this presented a danger if the turrets were hit it would mean they would be able to fire and reload faster. Further structural blocks on the wooden frames of the disguise had been loosened and were ready to be released with only one or two blows with a hammer.
