What Blade said was true, it was probably near impossible to find his mum in the Grand Line simply due to how vast it was, but the one thing he had on his side was the fact it was a marine who took them. If it was a marine, they would have had records of being stationed near his hometown at that specific time and from there it should be easy, it was just finding that info that was hard. To get this they'd need to either lean on the right marines, covertly break in or just storm a main base which was impossible at their current level. An alternative would be to look for similar incidents and try to connect the pieces but that would be tedious but probably the way they'd need to go... Unless his father knew something but he wouldn't take kindly to that bitch turning up after all this time and it'd be worse if he did know something. A faint smile came to his face when he heard Blade said they could at least try, trying is all he could really expect. Whilst he wanted to save his mum there was no use getting overly stressed about not succeeding because that would just slow everything down and damage the relationships he had formed with his crew. Ant followed on just behind Blade being on full alert of his surroundings for any threa.... Ant blinked a few times, did Blade just make a joke.... Nah, it was probably an accidental choice of words that sounded like a joke.... but what if it wasn't? Ant wracked his brain for any scentless, tasteless poison that could give somebody a sense of humour. In his state of mild shock he couldn't think of. Anyway! Cactus juice Ant assumed it was alcoholic and decided to test Blade's possible new found sense of humour as he laughed to himself a little as he joked "Well it's a good job my tolerance is going up, I might be able to make it back to the ship whilst remaining conscious" He may have been a complete lightweight when he first joined the crew, but he could out drink most of the mooks now even if he couldn't keep up with Blade or Blair just yet. |

He wondered what will they do on this island, he knew they had some business to get to and that people shouldn't know they are pirates but other than that, he wanted to explore. This was his first island in the Grand Line, and he wanted to explore as much as he could. He didn't know much about it, other than what he could see around him. The place seemed destroyed, from people to the town itself.. So much fighting was done here, you could see that in the eyes of the local folk... He looked around to see the place scrapped up more than it could be scrapped up together, with little to no people filling the streets. Jackery delt with the marines quickly, and it gave Wolf a chance to talk, before they depart on another boring job.. The other just turned to talk to him when sudden ruckus from the merchants occurred. They began packing as quickly as possible, even dropping few things along the way with people shutting their windows and doors immediately. He didn't get what was going on, but a voice stopped his chain of thought. He looked funny, a man with some parts made from bones? Human bones? He looked strange, he didn't get what was going on, but it was soon obvious that they were bounty hunters.. A dozen of them appeared on the rooftops, armed to the teeth, ready to take them alive or dead. Wolf already placed his hands on the hilts, drawing his weapons out half way before Jackery ordered him to find Blade.. He ignored it for a second, pulling the weapons completely out and smiling as he would step forward. This was just what he needed to lose these shaky see feat. He has been on a boat for far to long, a fight on the ground might do him some good. But alas, the stern look that Jackery was giving him, stopped him from advancing more as he grunted and backed down. "We can take them out alone, don't think they are that strong.." he continued, but as Jackery wasn't changing his mind and Wolf was ordered to follow his instructions.. guess he would back down just this once. "Fine, I'll go get them.." he said as he turned to an alleyway not to far. He dashed towards the two men that appeared there, one with a sword and the other with a net. As he ran, bullets started raining down on him, one even grazed his leg before he was out of sight. In the midst of his run, he pulled his katanas out and prepared to deal with the two that were blocking his path. The one with the sword stepped up to Shadow's left, as he raised his right katana and slammed it down against the sword of the hunter. Shadow pushed down onto him, but he was strong as he held his own back. Seeing the one with the net about to throw it onto him, he quickly saw the miss position the engage hunter was in. He used his left katana to slash the back of his right leg, while simultaneously moving to his left dropping all strength he was using to push the swordsman back. The hunter would than start to fall forward because of the pressure he was putting on pushing Shadow's katana back, while getting more imbalanced with the cut on the back of his leg. With that, Wolf would spin on his left leg, to do a back spin kick and push the falling pirate into the other's net. They would than collide and clash alongside the wall of the building nearby, as Wolf would continue to rush forward. He had a big smile on his face now, the move's he just made amazed him. "Look' like practicing martial arts with Ant really paid off.. or just picking up a thing or two while he whooped my ass.". Lurking in the darker parts of the town he finally went out of the danger zone, or so he thought. He tried to blend in and stick to the shadows more than to be out on the open as He was searching for Blade or anybody from the crew. They needed to know that the jigg was up.. Breaking into a roll Jackery just avoided being repeatedly hit with a rain of gunfire, the bullets exploding as they struck the ground releasing blasts of debilitating shrapnel which was likely less lethal than solid shot but could still create considerable injury if they contacted. Finding cover at an abandoned stall he pushed it over onto its side to give the gunmen a lot fewer angles to shoot him from. The fire slowed and it was obvious at this point that the bounty hunters were only firing to keep him pinned in place while their boss made his way here but the only real question was the direction the bone cyborg would come from. A rush of air answered the question as the bounty hunter's captain popped directly beside Jackery, his machine joints spewing smoke that smelled of burning pork. It was instantly apparent with Jackery's experience with cyborgs that this one had a unique form of Soru and that it likely burned meat for fuel in the process. Further contemplation would have to wait as Jackery raised his rapier to fend off a sudden bone arm attack. His blade slowed the punch enough as sparks showered both of the combatants and the steel blade bit deep into the bone and stopped at the metal beneath. Growths started forming on the cyborg's fist and bone slightly began to flow and form spikes that wrapped around the blade. Not wanting to be disarmed Jackery risked getting into the line of fire and jumped backwards, causing the partially formed bone structures to snap off with great effort. Much longer and he might have been forced to give his weapon up. Pushing his will forward at the cyborg he used his untrained and raw Haki force to try to blind the man and give himself an advantage to pull back to better cover. The same pressures threatened to cause himself to black out as the familiar terrible migraine raked through his brain and the hunter seemed to only pause a moment and shake off the effect completely. Not knowing what Jackery had just done the pirate just yelled incoherently and charged. Jumping backwards Jackery responded by gripping the handle of his double pistol and firing the weapon, twisting the holster to aim but not even wasting the time needed to draw the weapon out. Both bullets struck the man's chest for seemingly no effect.

“You’re still such a light weight.” he commented mildly as they walked. In the distance, Blade heard a sound. A familiar sound that cut across the arid air. As the sound thundered across the island, ringing it like a bell or something. Gunfire. Blade stopped walking immediately, this wasn’t the sort of place where everyone was armed to the teeth, or trigger happy. These people wallowed in sadness like pigs in mud, so the sound was so unnatural here. He glanced at Ant for a moment, wondering if the other heard it too. Looking around, many of the people had paused what they were doing to listen to the distant echo. From their faces, he guessed this was unusual for them as well. Given his crew’s record, he’d be more shocked if someone from his crew wasn’t involved. Blade looked at Ant, snatching the other up without much warning at all. “Your zoan is finally useful. I have limited mobility, and doubt I’d make it up onto any of these buildings in record time given my current state. I’m just going to toss you.” not that he was actually going to wait for a response from the other. “See if you can spot our crew or who is shooting.”, Blade put down his cane while still holding Ant off the ground one handed. He looked in the direction he though the shots came from. “Get ready bird boy!”, Blade spun on his heel once and sent Ant hurdling into the air. Blade himself shifted into his wolf form, snatched up the cane from the ground and was ready to run after the other. The people around him seemed less shocked, but when he changed into his animal form many of them scattered screaming. It seems zoans were not as common as he assumed in the grand line. But, he also paid them little mind, he had his own worries at the moment as he followed Ant from the streets.

Two jokes..... okay this was starting to get downright creepy. More to the point, Ant figured he was only a lightweight compared to Blade, but then who wasn't? That guy's tolerance was inhuman. Ant was pretty sure about that fact, no normal person had such a high resistance so he had no reason to be ashamed of being out drank by Blade. Before Ant could do much more than pout a very familiar noise sounded through the air, gunfire. Ant stopped in place, nodding at Blade to confirm he'd heard it too and he wasn't imagining it. Ant himself hoped he was imagining it but alas not, the chances of an island like this haveing a random outburst of violence and it not being connected to the Blue Fangs was low. Whatever was happening they had to get there fa.... What the fuck? For starters, how could Blade lift him with one hand in his state and two, why was he just randomly picking him up? Ah, now he was catching on, his zoan form. Conscious of the 76kg resting on one of Blade's arms Ant quickly transformed into his full peacock form and made sure his weapons were secure, nodding again to the captain, confirming he'd accepted his orders. Not leaving it to just his captain, Ant kicked off against Blade's arm as he was thrown to get the maximum height to look down. Okay.... so this was very high, higher than he'd been before but it was the perfect view as he looked down below to scan the island. Before long he spotted a figure that seemed to be Jackery who was engaging an enemy of some sort. Well he doubted Jackery would need help but he couldn't spot anybody else just yet so if he could free Jackery up he could get more information. Ant's angle of attack took a dramatic turn as he honed in on his target, deploying his plumage when he was just 100m above the groud to slow his descent before unleashing a new, experimental technique he'd learnt on the man Jackery was fighting. Performing a mid-air 360 Ant fired off a Rankyaku against the man, he had no idea how effective it'd be but he hoped it would do some serious damage after he spent so long learning it.

From the wares that lined the merchant's street, Blair surmised that the stall owners were from various oceans. She had travelled through many of the Blues, having seen a variety of weaponry, tools and foods of all shapes and sizes. What was presented to her now was the fact that she had seen nought but a small tid bit of what the world had to offer her. As her mind took in all of the interesting and unique items, she heard something odd, her ears perking up as she did so. Raising to her full height, she turned, having heard the cry of one of the men within her own small division of mooks. As she darted through the streets, she looked to find that one of her men was laying face down on the ground, the many cooking utensils he had purchased having been spread out along the ground. A foot sat atop the mook's head as the man groaned with pain. It was clear that he had been knocked down by the man that stood there along with his group of cronies. As Blair's red eyes peered at the group of the men, she could tell that they were some sort of Bounty Hunter group. There was a round half a dozen of them, their squad leader included, each of them had an assortment of tattoos of a skeletal design. Their leader in particular had a red comical looking skull tattooed across his grinning his face, his equally red tinted hair stylised into a massive flat top. His thin, gaudy arms were bare, whilst his hands wore large, compact gauntlets, light pulsating from them. In the hand of the man was a set of Bounty Posters, he tossed a number of them to the ground, which Blair noticed were of her crew mates. "...." she stood silently, her eyes vacant as she watched the man thumb back the poster that denoted her own Epitheth and bounty. "Ya know, little one," the man begun, raising his head, his eyes hidden beneath a set of shades. The afternoon sun bore down on his skin, reflecting the red face paint. "Words travels fast in this pirate hating town. There are all sorts looking to collect you Blue Fangs," the man grinned. Before he could continue on his sentence, Blair appeared before him, having lashed forward with her knife. Whilst she hadn't hit him directly, she had attacked with enough force to release a shockwave towards her foe. "Get your foot off of my crew mate! Budget Cut!" she yelled, the blade of compressed air hitting against her target, knocking the man off of the mook and causing him to crunch the bounty poster that he held within his hand. With the air knocked out of him, he was forced to take a few preliminary hops backwards to regain his sense of balance, having been knocked off guard by the sudden attack. [color#913eee]"Here, let me help you up,"[/color] Blair offered her hand towards the mook, who gratefully accepted it before being instructed to gather up his belongings and find the others. They were to make their way back towards the ship. "I'll take care of these low lives. No one messes with my crew while I'm around," she winked, her tongue catching between her teeth in a playful manner. The bounty hunters gathered around her, forming a circle as to intimidate her, which only served to bemuse the merchant. "You get who I am, right? I've a bounty that requires more than the likes of you. I'm hardly a push over," she explained, smirking in response before she leaped backwards, using enough force to cause the dirt on the ground beneath her boots to shudder. As she hurtled backwards, she raised her legs before shooting them outwards, catching the first man by his chest, forcing him to the ground whilst he cushioned her fall. With a quick a giggle, Blair's boot swiped backwards, knocking the man unconscious. "Whose next?" |

Wondering the streets, while trying to get unnoticed was never easy, but it came natural for Wolf. He never knew that, as he was always in the center of attention and fight's but lurking around and sneaking was kinda fun. Moving through the town, he didn't quite catch the Fangs, but he did notice a lot of people were clearing from the streets. "So the fight spread from that street to the whole quart, probably the whole town will be looking for us soon.." He pondered on his actions really carefully. If the fight didn't spread to the next part of the town, they had to keep it here. It would be bad if marines took a note off this. If bounty hunters know they are here, so will they. Moving past a couple of street's, he noticed few of familiar mooks and a group of bounty hunters there. One on them was on top of the other, and as he was about to act a girl jumped in and pushed the big man like he was nothing. He smiled, as he knew she could handle them easily. As he left the street he could get a clearer picture, as one of the hunters was on top of a building aiming his gun towards her. He didn't know if Blair saw him, but he didn't want to risk he getting injured, than himself getting killed by Blade, so unsheathing his katana he swung the chain that was attached to it. Aiming it precisely, the thrown katana would wrap around the gun's leg as he would get pulled down hesitantly. Not wasting time, he would move on searching for Blade and Ant. It wouldn't take long to see something flying above them, darkening the sky just enough for Shadow to notice it. Is it a bird, is it a.. no it's Anthony? "What?" Wolf would say, not to anybody in particular, just what? For a moment he stopped, thinking it a mirage but then again it's Ant so.. Continuing onward he would move a couple more street's before noticing a big bad Wolf running. He was hidden in the backstreet behind trashcan's so Blade probably wouldn't have noticed him, but Shadow wouldn't reveal himself just yet anyway. A couple of men followed him on foot as he ran. Wolf took it upon himself to get them out of his hair. Ducking on his left knee, behind one of the containers, he placed his right palm on it and moved so that only his left eye would be out. He would blend in the dark quite nicely, with his hood and mask on. As he awaited them to pass him, he took notice of something he put his palm on. He didn't want to look away to what it is, but it felt yucky and just nasty. He brushed it off on his jeans, knowing he will have to wash it off later. A couple of men passed, some with swords other with guns. He stood up and moved behind them, and used his katanas to stab through two of them. As the rest would hear the bodies of their parted companions drop to the ground, they would see a dark visage resembling a man. The gunman would start lifting their guns, but alas it was late. He already had his sight's on them. He would pull his right back and trust forwards, releasing his katana upon maximum extent of his arm throwing it straight into one of the gunman's chest. As the chain's slid and ran over his forearm, he would grab it just as it incapacitated the man, pulling it out. His torso would than rotate to the side of the thrown weapon, and reaching his arm from the side forward throw the other chained blade vertically slashing the other gunman's throat. The gun would drop to the ground, firing close to Shadow, the bullet marking his cheek as it passed by. The other's would look petrified, as Shadow's gaze would fall upon them. He would walk to them slowly, as one of the remaining two would start running towards him. He would take a step towards him, and as the swordsman approached, would move to the side grabbing him in a choke hold. The man would give to little of a fight, as he was scared enough so it made it easy for Shadow to grab him. "Drop it now" he said, with a deep voice that would scare him shitless. To his surprise, even the other one dropped his sword.. he wasn't expecting this but hey a bonus. "Tell me, how did you find us? Who sent you for us?" He awaited for a response, but a choking hunter could barely put up a sentence. He was either dumb or refused to talk, still.. Shadow would withstand the choke and ask again, but this time the man passed out, just as gun fire was heard. "I need to move, we need to deal with this before it spreads." Wolf would just yank the katanas back to him, as he started running. He would run past the petrified other, not giving two cents about him. As he moved through the back streets he thought of what he did back there. He was never known to be so bloodthirsty, as he would always defeat his opponents but not kill them. Something changed.. He started beating himself up for letting into his anger, but maybe this is his way off letting out? The anger and stress he had over the past couple of months, it all built up inside and perhaps this is the way for him to vent. Who knows how this will change him, but one thing's certain. He will protect his crew, his family, with his life.

This was no time for words as Jackery put his rapier's blade between his flesh and the next attack from the bounty hunter, an attack which was so powerful that he was forced to use his pistol hand against the weapon as additional bracing and it was still only enough to barely slow it. The struggle was interrupted when a slashing gust of air cracked into the cyborg's back, blasting away bone armoring and cutting into flesh with an explosion of blood. The bounty hunter howled and let off his attack against Jackery for a moment but that was enough for him to act. One of Jackery's heavy boots kicked upward, he had thankfully not swapped them out for something less distinctive as part of his disguise. The knife blade in the toe went into unarmored flesh and Jackery pressed his weight to the side causing the weapon to snap and detach off inside his opponent. Letting go of his double pistol he also drew a throwing knife and at this range there was no missing with the weapon but it struck bone and glanced off. The bone structure seemed to be flowing slightly, covering more area than before but at the penalty to the thickness. The flowing reminded Jackery of his prior experience with someone using what had been called Life Return, he did not know how that worked but a quick glance towards the hunter's other injuries showed that instead of bleeding the slices had pinched themselves shut and Jackery's boot knife blade was almost pushed out of the man's side. Jumping back he allowed the captain of the hunters to get a bit of distance before he heard the cracks from several rifles which were now free to fire on him without risk of hitting their boss. One of the bullets struck Jackery's leg causing him to crash to the ground. Gasping with the pain he managed to roll himself out of line of sight before he could even consider treating himself, starting with a shot of painkiller to the hit area.

Blade tried to keep up with Ant. But he actually had obstacles on the ground. While Ant was able to glide through the air, avoiding building and people, Blade was not so lucky. He only got a few steps before he had to tuck, dodge, or turn down a new ally all together. This place was almost like a maze for those blinding running around on the ground. Blade still kept up, his nose just a second behind the shadow that Ant cast down on the earth below. The large wolf panted, his tongue lopping out of the side of his mouth as his powerful legs continued to push him forward. But, as they got into more crowded areas, Blade was losing his ground on Ant. And when Blade hit a dead end all together, he could do nothing but watch Ant sail through the skies without him. Blade was left panting, his chest was throbbing in all the excitement. Normally such a run would be nothing, but he was still recovering from events of old. With a low grunt he turned and started to run out of the ally, he knew the direction Ant would be going, and he was hoping he would be able to make his own way from there. Just a scent, it’s all he needed, just a sound, anything! Admittedly, the captain was getting frustrated, all the dust he was starting to kick up in his wake was catching up to him as he walked out of the ally. He was about to take off running when he heard someone whistle. The sound made Blade pause for a moment, his eyes moving to the source out of simply reflex. Behind him was three men, a tall thin man, a medium sized muscular man, and a small fat man who looked no taller than 4 feet. Blade growled, his instincts told him danger. The tall man spoke, the other two flanked with of his sides as he stepped forward. “You look lost puppy.” he said with a sneer. The man pulled a golden Janbiya from the sheath along his back. The gold was rusted on the edge from where he let blood rot on it. It was hard to tell if the man left it on for sport or from laziness. But to those untrained in combat, it would look very intimidating. Too bad for the three men, Blade was anything but a novice fighter. “What are you doing Hade?” the fat man said with un-amusement painted on his face. “Simple. We’re here for Blue Fang Pirates right? Well, what’s the odds of a blue wolf being around here you idiot? Maybe it’s a pet.”, Hade said without taking his eyes off Blade. But while the spoke, Blade was thinking of a plan. They didn’t appear to have any bounty posters, or at the very least, not current ones with them. So it was very likely these men were here simply for word-of-mouth purposes. “You can’t just beat up on animals Hade!” the middle man said stepping forward, and pushing Hade with his shoulder. He knelt down, “Come here puppy!” he said with a smile. Blade tilted his head, unsure of what to do. “That ‘puppy’ is like 125 pounds. You’re both going to be mauled.” Blade stepped forward, his fur stood on end. He had no idea the skill level of these three, and if even two of them were bounty hunters strong enough for the grand line, he was in trouble. “He’d make a great coat.” Hade said with a smile as he licked the edge of his Blade. “You don’t want that pelt. It’d have holes, look at the scars on it. Maybe it’s an attack dog.” the fat one commented idly as he began to rummage in his bag. Blade narrowed his eyes, was that man looking for bounty posters? Hade stepped forward, “Enough talk. Either way. We can’t just let it run back to his master.” He tall man lunged forward at Blade, dagger extended as far as his long reach would go. The tall man was fast, but Blade, was much faster. He snarled and jumped back kicking over several boxes along the ally wall onto Hade as distanced himself. “You should have listened to your friend Hade.” Blade said with a snarl, his for started to change. Every muscle of his body pulled, contracted and got bigger, much, much bigger. With a howling snarl, there was no longer a wolf. There was a human-wolf hybrid. “STRIKER FORM!” blade snarled through fanged teeth. He towered over even Hade at seven feet tall. A mane of long blue hair reached from his head to his shoulder like a head dress. His forearms were covered with blue fur, and were more like huge paws with his upper arms human. His chest was human too, but from the waist down was wolf, with an exception of the hunches being twisted more straight to support a human-ish figure. A long blue tail also adorned the form, it wagged back and forth in anticipation. “I’ve got some new tricks to try!” Blade said in absolute glee, a murderous grin on his face. The wolfman rushed forward, covering the distance between them in an instant. Blade unleashed a barrage of stabbing like attacks. His clawed fingers jabbed into Hade, one after another so fast it was impossible to see. The claws striking so fast and hard, they were like bullets. Hade was left with holes punched in him straight through. The lifeless body collapsed to the ground as Blade turned to the other two men. “I’m not their pet. My name is Blade Blackthorn. Captain of the Blue Fang Pirates….” A smile crossed his lips as he lunged at the other two, and their screams echoed through the alleyways.

Well that was a satisfying impact, this dude seemed to be a cyborg which brought back rather unfortunate and unwanted memories, back from the time Ant didn't know the meaning of defense and had a rather flimsy build. Ah, dark times which had thankfully passed. The weight his attack carried brought some confidence in the previously theoretical technique which had yet to be tested in the field, but now was not the time to be self-congratulatory with the enemy before them. Not knowing Jackery very well and no prior planning meant rushing in would just get in Jackery's way. He stayed on guard as Jackery started to unleash his attack, something caught his eye as the distinctive sound of a rifle about to fire caught his attention "shit" he muttered under his breath, he should have spotted that. He quickly shifted into his hybrid form and sprinted in the direction of the sighted gunmen. It was too late to avoid any shot hitting Jackery but he was going to make damn sure no others would. Ant jumped up onto the rooves and ran full pelt towards the gunmen, drawing his two gunswords and offloading all but one of their bullets towards their targets. He was trying to hit his targets but he wasn't being overly fussy about accuracy, it was more to draw their attention but a few bullets hit their mark. As the rifles were reloading Ant thrust his swords into the ground and launched a two footed kick at the first mook, sending him off the roof. Ant lifted one sword out of the roof and used his remaining one to hold onto to skid across the tiles in a wide arc, sweeping one more gunman's legs. Still in one smooth movement, he pulled out the second sword and swung it over his head in a smooth arc and across the final gunman's chest, firing a bullet as the barrel of the gun was in line with the man's heart. In one final move he placed his foot on the head of the man who's legs he swept and kicked him off the roof. Well they were clear here, it was a shame about the death but he was changing, and getting more brutal as time went on in order to protect those he cared about. Looking down to see how Jackery was coping, he reloaded his gun-swordsand and if he had an opportunity, he'd carefully fire down onto the cyborn, but only if he was away from Jackery.

"Damn, Blade is fast". Shadow followed him as quickly as he could, but he was no near fast as the capt in his wolf form. The utter presence of bounty hunters didn't really help the situation, as he couldn't just run through the street's without them catching sight of him. Pulling the tip of his hood lower, he ducked behind some containers as he heard a faint whisper in the air. He moved a little closer, eavesdropping on the conversation. "Look's like they will be to hard to catch, we will need to make the call.." said one of them with a deeper voice. "Are.. are you sure? We probably shouldn't call them here.. It will be a real wreck if they come." the other with a softer and higher pitched voice said. Throwing a look, Wolf guessed it was a conversation between one of their patroon leaders and his consultant, as the first looked incomparably bigger and better dressed. "Tsk, we need to find a way to stop them.. If they call in reinforcement's we will be done." As the men were drawn by commotion in the nearest street, Shadow followed.. or he tried. A chain wrapped around his neck, as his feet began to lose the grip on the floor. Gasping for air, his vision blurring, he grabbed the chain pulling it but alas... He saw that there was no way to free himself like this, so he thought he utter to give himself some breathing space. Where the chain led to his neck, little above his head, he gripped with his right hand pulling himself up. That did little to help his condition, but with that extra blood coming back into his head he thought of a way. With his free hand, he managed to grab the sheet of his katana. Pulling it out, he rotated the blade vertically. He jabbed it, towards the wall he hung against, with all the strength he could muster. Now this might look dumb or meaningless, getting a weapon just to get it stuck in a wall? Well he wasn't planning to use it to kill his opponent. No, he used it as the foundation he would step on to release the chain's grip on him. Quick to act, as he knew that the blade wouldn't hold his weight for long, he placed his second hand on the chain. He bent, in a similar fashion as you would when trying to throw somebody over the shoulder, tugging the chain. Whilst in the downward motion, he would jump to give it extra force and speed. Landing down, he could feel like he pulled something big with him, as a dark figure would slam down next to him. The man twitched a little, but falling from a building onto your face like that would leave you pretty disoriented if not with some type of spine damage. Turning around, Shadow would use both of his hands to pull out his katana. It took him a second or two, as he rammed it pretty deep. Getting it out and running a finger over it, he could feel where the blade got bent. It was not serious so fixing it could await another time. "Now, who sent you? Are you with those blasted hunters that want us dead?" Shadow talked as he began to turn, cleaning the dirt of hiss blade in the process. He had enough of this, and was prepared to do whatever he could to get the information out of him. A piercing sound was made, as it cut through the air. Not even realizing it, he reacted, moving to the side as something sharp passed his face grazing his cheek. He rose his weapon's as he started looking out for a possible assaulter, but nothing was to be seen. They concealed themselves pretty easily as Shadow was in a dark ally surrounded with buildings. "Tsk, there's more of them. I need to get into a more advantages position, but what will I do with.." he stopped as he turned "Damn, I guess I will need to beat it out from the next guy". The man lying face-down was dead, with a sharp knife-like blade stuck in his neck. "Killing on of your own to stop the leak of information, I applaud you for that but what will you do when there is only one of you left.." he spoke as he made quick haste to get to the wall jumping off to a wall on the other side of an alleyway. He bounced off few times, before landing on top off a building. "and there is nobody to kill him..." he continued as he stared down at three men, cloaked in darkness with only their red eyes glaring back at him. Tilting his head to the side, he lowered his mask and spoke with a psychotic smile "..but me?!" Edited by RaMp4g3, Dec 27 2016, 10:56 AM.

The bounty hunter was now almost completely armored and his mechanical parts had also grown in size, with the exposed gears made of the same substance spinning quickly. Despite the added bulk and armoring of his joints the man did not seem to lose any speed as he instantly zeroed in on where Jackery was as though he had not lost track of the pirate at all. With the wound area numbed and treated as best as he could in those very few moments Jackery was able to move again and having plenty of time to see the onrushing armored bounty hunter he was able to devise a plan on the fly. Nearby was a blind alleyway with the only way out being an almost seamless wall easily higher than his head but it was the only direction that offered any cover for him to move away from the site of the ambush without being shot to pieces. A few steps in that direction and he was already worried about the lack of gunfire until he felt himself grabbed from behind and pushed forward at far higher speed than he could have done on his own until coming to a sudden stop as he was smashed into the side of a building with his own weight as well as the bounty hunter behind him. The breath was knocked out of him and his vision blackened, his whole skull rattled and he knew his nose was now broken and his whole body went limp. Unresisting he feigned a state of near unconsciousness while he was turned around to face his attacker. The hunter's faceplating opened up enough that Jackery was able to see the man's heavily brutalized face with a grin that was quite feral seeming. Closing his mouth Jackery clicked his teeth together to break the capsule hidden in the space that used to have one of his teeth. The sour poison foamed and just before the hunter could gloat Jackery spat the fluid into the man's face aiming for the eyes. An act of defiance like that was almost cliche and expected so the man did not even try to flinch or protect himself until the burning was felt. The hunter screamed and Jackery knew it was his one chance to act, grabbing onto the man's arm he swung his legs up at the hunter captain's face and sprung himself backwards with only the hopes that he was aiming himself correctly. They were close enough and the additional height gave Jackery just enough assistance in addition to him lacking his usual heavy armor. Striking the very top of the wall he was able to go over it and land heavily to the ground on the other side. Spoiler: click to toggle

Blade found the three dead hunters before him less than amusing. They had been hardly worth the effort to kill them. In the distance, Blade could still hear the echoes of battle in the distance, and he knew that he was still needed. He walked over to a barrel of water that was stacked against a wall to collect rain water. He looked down at the water for a moment, dull red eyes stared back. The eyes of a murderer, and he wondered if they were how everyone saw him. He splashed the water, desiring not to take another moment to look at himself. He washed off his mouth and hands of blood and changed back into his wolf form. He sniffed around, hoping to get any sort of scent he could recognize. He walked back the way he came, trying to find a way through the maze of buildings that surrounded him. Ant had simply flown on without him, and the buildings were still too tall for him to leap onto, so for now he was stuck walking on foot and being held at the direction the winding paths took him. Finally, Blade caught Wolf’s scent! He sniffed the rocks for a moment, and started to head off after it. Finding Wolf was better than nothing. He paused as he turned a corner. He saw Wolf’s fight against the man with the chain, and also saw him now outnumbered three to one. Blade rolled his eyes, “So over dramatic.” he said with a growl. But, he did notice the roofs were much lower now. And more importantly, he could get ontop of them, maybe even find out where Ant headed off too. Blade turned the corner and walked past the men without even giving them a look. And even if he had tried to wash the blood from his jaws, thick drops of crimson still dripped from them. He started running, and jumped up onto some stock boxes with exotic fruits in them, and hopped onto the roof. He glanced at Wolf for a moment, but said not a word as he casually trotted away. It was an unspoken command to Wolf ‘End This Fast’. |

Now with only five foes remaining, Blair was able to find herself surrounded by time, each raising their own weapons. It appeared that cutlasses was a common tool to be chosen from amidst these cretins, Blair merely shrugging to herself at the thought of having to face a swordsmen. It was hardly her first time and her experience at dealing with foes who used weapons such as those was far greater than any could have imagined by merely looking at her. As she spun her knife in her hands, she clasped the handle whilst the blade pointed outwards. It was then that she hunkered down, her entire body lowering, her hair flapping behind her form as she darted forth, the glint of the blade leaving a small streak through the air. Catching one of the men by surprise, he slashed downwards, only to find that Blair was able to easily side-step the attack, her red eyes having followed the slashing motion. As she halted to the right of the blade, she spun along with her boot, the arm that was holding her weapon stretched out to cut along the man's jacket, the iron of her blade tearing through her enemy's jacket, a streak of red dying the line before he was forced to back away, which would open him up to the Merchant's next attack, her body still spinning from her knife attack, she changed the angle of her body to lean forwards and shove her boot towards the man's chest, right where the blade had hit against. A yell came from him as he was thrown towards a wall. Despite her well coordinated attack, she had made the mistake of focusing too much on one opponent, leaving herself open to an attack from one of the other four men that surrounded her. This time, the saber that was drawn down came at horizontal angle, forcing Blair to kick off the ground. Had she not trained to adapt to such situations before, she wouldn't have been able to retaliate by flicking her legs forwards and tucking in her arms, allowing herself to quickly escape before pushing off of the ground with her elbows, lifting her body up into the air and back onto her feet. Quickly raising her knife to defend from the incoming blow, she watched as sparks whirred up into the air. Narrowing her eyes, she dragged her blade along the blade of this man's sword whilst pushing back on it, with that she'd swap her blade to the blunt side to push against the flat of the blade, knocking it way to the side. As the sword would no longer be able to strike her, she unleashed a punch from the hand that was holding her knife, causing the man to back away, flailing his arms back a bit and bumping into his fellow bounty hunter. As the man who had been so crudely ran into shoved his disorientated crew mate off of himself, he was swiftly met with an arcing blade of compacted wind, which soared and subsequently roared through the air. "Budget Cut!" Blair added, the blade catching the man and forcing him to the ground with a dull thud, coughing and spluttering, it seemed that he had his fill and wouldn't need another attack. Spinning once more, Blair reached down by her waist, unbeknownst to her two remaining foes, Blair was also adept at using another weapon. With a flick of her wrist, she unfurled the long whip that had been tightly coiled by her side, the weapon flying forwards and grabbing the final mooks saber with her Grip technique, quickly tugging on the weapon to the side, she disarmed the man. With a quick step forward, she forced the man to make a hasty retreat. With that done, her attention came back to the gauntlet wearing man, the leader of this small troupe, who had stood there dazed as the events had unfurled from them. She knew by his stance that he on a completely different level than his men had been. He then snorted to himself, raising both his gauntlets. "Bunch of useless canon fodder in then end," he shook his head. "They call me Red Skull, Threat - 20!" he declared, his teeth clenching as he snickered at the girl before him who had defeated all of his men. Readying herself, Blair resumed the stance she had taken earlier, her knife prepared within her hand, already thinking of how to best take the man out. It was obvious from his weapon that he was a close combat fighter, but she had to be sure she wasn't taken off guard by this man. "They call me the Knifeketeer in the ring, not sure what they call me out on the seas though," she stated cooly before adding, "You already know but, Bounty - 51,500,000!" she stated, imitating the man in a mocking fashion, flashing him a large grin. It's been so long since Shadow was excited to fight somebody, and this whole island was just one thrill after another. The wind howled, as the cloak's flew through the air, the faces of the three men revealing them self merely. Shadow was not surprised, they had no expression on their face's, no happiness or sorrow, no excitement or scarce.. Their whole visage was dark and blank. He smiled, brushing the blood that dripped from the graze on his cheek. "Now it wouldn't be fair if I don't at least commend one of you for this. You rather took me by surprise, but still I should have been able to avoid that." Placing his hands on the hilts Shadow was ready to act as he proceeded "But now you lost your element, and it's my time to play". Lifting his own mask up, he ducked a little as he was about to rush to them, as someone else appeared. Shadow didn't need to turn around to know who it was, having such a huge overwhelming presence, he knew it was his capt. Turning to the side, giving a glance at him he saw that he has been busy himself. With bloody soaked claws, he gave him the look and proceeded forward. He nodded, placing his sight's on the three once again. He knew what Blade wanted him to do, and he was not going to wait on him long. "Guess I won't have time to play" were his words before he lunged at'em. Jumping on the next building, the three jumped back positioning them self further away. "Tsk, it's not fun if you run". Jumping at the nearest one now, the other two threw their chains while the nearest one jumped back once again. The chain's flew towards him, but easily he managed to deflect them, with his blades, but he didn't predict that the one he attacked would also do the same. The chain wrapped around his leg, pulling him down as Shadow slammed on to the roof. He didn't get hurt badly, but he got angry. Getting up, you could see in his eye's that he was agitated. He repeated his actions attacking the nearest one, and again, the same happened. They ran away, and waited for the opportunity to strike him.. How is he supposed to fight... Damn, how foolish of him to forget. "Hmm, guess I will have to utilize this again" he spoke as he seemingly rushed again to attack. This time as he was to land on the roof, he threw his katana by pulling his arm back and jabbing the air. The katana would fly in a straight line, and seemingly easy to dodge, the man would jump to the side as Shadow would grab the chain mid air, swinging his arm to the same side he jumped, as the blade would follow at quick pace, running the man through the chest. Landing down, he would immediately tug his katana back to him, blood gushing from a lifeless body, he would turn and look at the two. Beneath the mask and the hood, the two could see two purple eyes piercing through them, as one of them even took a step back. They finally caught the whim of whom they were messing with. Spreading his stance a little, he would throw his katanas in the opposite sides, as mid way he would catch the chains. He would start spinning the katanas, as his mind was racing trying to think of a way to end them, quickly. He had to test their response, so yet another generic attack was called for. Attempting to strike with his weapon, he would not care if he hit the mark, but rather observe the speed of the dodge. This time the other would attack, as the first one was attacked, praying on Shadow's weakened concentration. Three knives were thrown, and as they made their way towards Shadow, without much trouble he managed to deflect two as the last one passed by his torso. "They are fast, but more than that they are accurate and well worked together. I need to take one out quickly." It was hard defending, while watching out for the speed of his opponent but he managed to slip through barely. In the course of the next few seconds he thought of the way he would defeat them, or at least catch on by surprise. Attempting to provoke he spoke "Now what is your next move?". The two looked at each other, and began to distance themselves and make haste to move in opposite sides, with Shadow in the middle. "Perfect.." Predicting the position of the right assassin, Shadow would turn his attention towards the left one. He would rotate his torso, swinging his right arm and direction his katana at the position of his next jump, but.. The man saw the attack coming, and would stop jumping back onto his palm with a back flip. As he landed he would look at Shadow, but would be shocked to see something else. His ally was stabbed, as Shadow's katana ripped through the leg of the assassin on the right. While Shadow seemingly attacked him, with the position of his torso he allowed himself to throw his left blade behind him in a straight line jabbing the assassin as he would land on the building. He took notice off their speed and predicted beforehand where he would land. Guess he missed by little, as his goal was to puncture his lungs and not his leg... Oh well. Shadow would laugh and say "Guess It's just you and me now buddy, let me just take care of... AGHHH" Shadow would stop and yell as he would turn around to see the impaled assassin grab his katana and pull the chain. The chains went all around the young pirate's wrist so he couldn't release himself. As he pulled they squeezed his forearm even more, until he saw blood dripping down his arm. The other one would use this opportunity to throw his own chain, gripping Shadows arm tightly and pulling. He would not have time to react, as he lost his focus when his attack was rendered counterproductive. The two started pulling, as Shadow screamed from pain. He tried to pull back with his arms, but one of his shoulders began slipping. It was going to dislocate soon, if he didn't do something. One thing was sure, the one stabbed by his katana was bleeding fast and there was no way he could uphold the pressure needed to keep Shadow there, so he focused his whole strength on that arm. He pulled, tugging the chain and katana back at him. As it made it's way out bit by bit, the blood from the man's leg started gushing even more as he screamed.. Finally, just before he cold feel his shoulder slip out, he ripped the katana out. Tired as he may be, he was angry even more so. With his freed hand, he would grab the chain wrapped around his arm. Pulling it, he would face the assassin with sheer strength, something he loved doing. It was tough, the man was strong as he pulled Shadow towards him, chains ripping into his arm. His arm began turning pale, as the circulation was getting cut off but he wouldn't let this man win even if he had to get his shoulder ripped off. He pulled, and pulled until he started yelling from exhaustion. In the end he managed to knock his opponent of balance, and without missing a second he would run. Landing on him, he would flip him upside and place his hands on his neck. As he choked him down, he would gaze upon his face. This was the first time he could see it clearly, and oh boy was the look of pitifulness and helplessness sweet. For a moment, his face changed to a smirk, but soon it turned to an even more terror, as blood dripped onto his face from beneath Shadow's mask. Glancing at the hunter's hand he saw that he impaled Shadow's torso with a knife, but it didn't hurt. It made Shadow even happier, as he felt the last cold breath on his face leave this poor hunter's body. Standing up, he would take out the knife and turn. As the winds turned harsher, they removed the mask of the only left assassin there, as time seemed to slow down. His face, pale and stone cold expression told it all, all the emotions he had right now and pain were right there, facing those dark purple eyes. Removing his mask, and his hood Shadow would look at him and smile most gently, like to a deer friend you longed to see... And with that smile, the hunter would begin to close his eyes as something impaled his forehead. The knife was no longer held by Shadow, but now rested in between hunter's eyes. Placing his katanas back in their sheaths, Wolf would turn to Blade. "Let's go"
