Basic Character Information Name:Zuile Pelarian Nickname:Kaupat Age: 24 Gender: Male Race: Human Affiliation: Bountyhunter Threat: 0 Achievements: Profession:Assassin The Assassin profession gives stealth skills, the ability to move silently through areas without being detected. It also gives general poison knowledge. An Assassin generally has little actual combat experience, since their victims don't fight back, and as such don't fare that well in a true fight. Assassins are able to create poisons that debuff, and have access to stealth techniques. Additionally they will be proficient in small weapons such as daggers or blow darts. Weapon Specialist A much more general fighter-type profession, a Weapon Specialist is someone who has to a large or small degree devoted his/her life to the mastery of a single weapon or weapon type, such as Swords, Axes or Whips. This profession applies generally to melee weapons. Position: Pariah
Physical Appearance Height: 5'8" ( cm) Weight: 134 lbs ( kg) Hair: Thin black hair that falls around his head. Some of it drapes along his face all of the time but the hair is often flapping everywhere even in the slightest wind. He isn't responsible for styling his hair, the world is. Eyes: Blue, always seem to imply boredom. Clothing/Accessories: Wears a simple, innocuous outfit that lets him blend in most any crowd. This is usually a slightly-oversized white collared shirt and black pants. His shoes are as black as his pants, and a combination of wood and leather soled. The main constant pieces of his outfit are two cloth bracelets that cover his wrists and creep on his hand and a black choker with a dog tag. General Appearance: Has a plain appearance, as someone who's not too pretty or too ugly, and feels pretty easy to ignore most of the time. His expressions are always subtle. It's easy for him to be perceived as a constant, sturdy but not immovable. His eyes look exceptionally dull most of the time.

The Character Personality: Zuile is a hard man. He didn't have a pleasant life or many luxuries and he often doesn't know how to live pleasantly or with luxuries. It's difficult for him to enjoy things and people find him difficult to enjoy. That's not to say he's exactly crude, malignant, or incapable of socialization. He's reasonably well-adjusted as an adult, save for his career choices, and mentally balanced as well. He can still smile, laugh, and wonder about the absurdity of life. It just all happens to come from the perspective of a survivor.
When it comes to "work" Mr. Pelarian attempts to be ruthlessly effective. He doesn't revel in killing, enjoy forcing people to suffer, or find some pleasure in battle that he can never feel outside of it. Work is just a matter of money for effort. What would seem like high-risk to someone else just didn't seem that dangerous to him. Taking life, risking your own; it's just a part of the human equation.
Hometown: S.I.R.V., Calm Belt History: Zuile Pelarian was born in the most troubling of times for his father's kingdom. The nation of Serenditty had recently been completely destroyed after a long war against a neighboring country. The result was obvious, and an ark had been built to house as many citizens of Serenditty as possible. The Serenditty Island Refugee Vessel was incomplete when it launched, abandoning many. The island's regent and her entourage, along with two fifths of the kingdom's population, set sail into the turbulent waters of the grandline. The self-sustaining ecosystem of the boat sustained the small population with ease, and Zuile's childhood didn't suffer when it came to food. The S.I.R.V. became a hell-on-earth because of human nature.
The Pelarian boy had never thought much about how his father and him lived on the massive boat. He never suffered much at the hands of others. His father and others who had worked for the former regent did though. The Queen's Executor was often given the short end of the stick when it came to the limited resources on the ship (choosing to give everything he could to Zuile and suffering more for it) while he chose to continuing serving Serenditty's queen. About when Zuile was nine the grudges fueling dangerous emotions on the ship started to flame up yet again. People were seething with rage on the isolated regent's recent "proclamations" and a coup was absolutely certain. A civil war erupted in the halls of the ship, destroying the vessel piece by piece until finally the queen was executed along with her officers.
The Pelarian family began to suffer for being the losers of the little war. Zuile and his father worked as slaves trying to maintain S.I.R.V., being worked to the bone alongside the others who chose the wrong side. This feverish labor was only able to buy the large vessel only three more years of time before it began to break apart and become unusable while in the grandline, near a populated island. Zuile's father died as S.I.R.V. crumbled, with many of Serenditty's refugees.
Zuile woke up on the shore of the nearby island, free from the tyranny of the masses but alone in the world. He had become a survivor during his troubled life on S.I.R.V. and continued to show a resilience and ingenuity that he gleaned from his old man. Living as an urchin didn't prove difficult, it just required a different mindset that this boy managed to pick up. Most of his adolescence proved to be like this, but he never had any consistent success. After turning 18, and traveling to a few islands as a stow away, Zuile became desperate for money. Living on the streets while on a winter island was proving too much for him. In desperation he discovered his future career, getting rid of problems. It was a bounty he took under the recommendation of a lazy town guardsmen. Zuile Pelarian thought it was the easiest money he had ever made. He took to this profession and honed his skills for the next seven years of his life.
Abilities and Possessions Combat: Zuile fights conservatively. Generally opting to use his range advantage on most opponents to work on wearing down their defenses before showing them he is equally as skilled at using his wire to fight from a distance as he is skilled with his knives. He generally chooses to avoid fighting though. As a problem solver he focuses on making sure people die instead of how to kill people. Avoiding direct confrontations only allows for fewer variables to exist, nothing more. Weaponry: ~ 2 Steel (Tier 2) Knives. ~ 2 Retractable 30 Foot Titanium (Tier 3) Wire Spools, with Titanium Hooks on the ends of the Wire. Items: ~ A Pair of Tier 2 Gloves (made of Stenops Cotton).
Omble Coronation Cocktail Sword.
It's a tiny, neon-green, plastic cocktail sword. It still retains some of the awe and wonder of all the cool stuff that could have happened on Luminis Island if the Coronation had gone as planned. If this sword is speared with any piece of fruit and placed into a glass of alcohol, it will become a premium beverage worthy of any sort of crazy city-spanning party. Drinking such a cocktail will fill the user with energy, allow them to party harder and longer than anyone. By doing this, once per SL, the user can skip a single night of sleep without any ill effects.
It also makes a fun and interesting toothpick, and can confer it's effects (skip a night of sleep once per SL, party hard) if used as such for those who'd rather abstain from drinking.
Super Rare Item: Galaxy Shard
This shard takes the form of a darkened crystal ball with a miniaturized solar system spinning within, this galaxy fragment is actually quite handsome. If one chooses to gaze into this galaxy fragment, they will temporarily be filled with vast knowledge beyond their own comprehension. Considering one cannot comprehend this knowledge, it doesn’t exactly get them anywhere and it is often just filtered out of the brain as pointless spam. However, afterwards they will be cursed with the threats from some sort of cosmic horror, which hardly matters as it is speaking in an incredibly foreign, cosmic language. However, once per thread he may be able to understand these threats and use them to his advantage, allowing for him to reduce all of the enemy’s stats by (-3) for three posts.

Techniques Regular Technique Points: 122 Used Regular Technique Points: 104 Special Technique Points: 0 Used Special Technique Points: 0
Description: Using a knife in each hand, Zuile tightens his stance, condenses his body, and makes considerable effort to defend against one incoming attack.
Description: Makes use of a similar defensive stance to the previous technique. This time the Kaupat aims to push one attack out of the way, getting himself out of harms way. [Deflecting]
Description: Changing brass tacks slightly, Zuile employs a more flexible form of streamlining his profile and making himself easier to defend (basically crouching). He uses his knives to redirect one incoming attack, aiming to create openings. People sometimes say they here a rattle when he uses this defense. [Deflection]
Description: A poisonous liquid that is applied to one of Zuile's knives. The poison is a hemotoxin that was inexpertly synthesized, it quickly deteriorates but it weakens the walls of the blood vessels it invades. [Duration Damage]
Description: A more potent reduction of the Essence de Mamba, the thicker liquid paints Zuile's knives a deep crimzon when it's applied. The hemotoxin is now more potent, causing various small internal ruptures in the blood vessels it travels through and lasting longer(?). [Duration Damage]
Essence de Cobra 20 Type: Support Range: — Power: — Stats: -14 Accuracy
Description: A synthetic venom to be applied to Zuile's knives. It's comprised of an alpha-neurotoxin that block cholinergic nerve functions creating a powerful numbing sensation. Lasts for 4 Rounds.
Essence de Scutatus 20 Type: Support Range: — Power: — Stats: -14 Strength
Description: A poisonous oil to be applied to Zuile's knives. The hemlock-based poison attacks somatic muscle cells causing a noticeable decrease in the afflicted's strength. This makes targets easier to wrap up in wire and less dangerous to fight. Lasts for 4 Rounds.
Wire Wizardry
Hinder 4 Type: Offensive Range: Short Power: 0 Stats: —
Description: Zuile simply whips out his retractable wire, trying to dig the hook into someone's flesh or clothing to hinder them as he pulls the wire back. Can essentially be used to catch things out of melee range too, to an extent.
Description: Similar to hinder, Zuile whips his hooked wire through the air to latch on to someone or something. This time he violently yanks to impart a deeper cut or be a greater hindrance. Could also be used to catch stuff out of the air.
Massacre Mastery
Exemplary Poi 4 Type: Offensive Range: Short Power: 0 Stats: —
Description: Attaching two knives to his wires, using the hooks, Zuile essentially improvises some Poi (tethered weights). Using the wire knife combo he flourishes before bringing both knives down on an unfortunate guy.
Masterful Poi [Poi Branch] 8 (4+4) Type: Offensive Range: Short Power: 4 Stats: —
Description: Using his lethal Poi, Zuile uses a bit more flourish-filled spinning before bringing both knives over his head and slamming them into his victim, blade-edge leading the charge.
El Baile de Grana 10 Type: Offensive Range: Short AoE (A few meters square, forward.) Power: 2 Stats: —
Description: Zuile spins his tethered knives in parallel planes in front of him, on his side (like the wheels of a car), in a rapid circular maneuver. The wind-down of this technique brings the knives sharply behind him, and if they are covered in, say blood, the erroneous liquid would splatter behind Zuile's position. Giving this technique it's name.

Now I noticed that your February Event 2 has no url at all?? C'mon, man... I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and standardize your beli including that, though. But find that link again.
64 SD from non-events, so 50 x 250,000 = 12,500,000 + 14 x 500,000 = 19,500,000. Event beli brings that up to 40,550,000, but your previous purchases bring you down to 33,070,000. Sorry, you lost a tiny bit.
Also, little thing, but your Essence de Mamba is in fact 0 Power. It still does damage over time, just not additional tech damage initially.

Cevian: I am straight. But I like it when girls kiss.
I fixed my technique and the weirdness with my gains and losses. I sure wasn't joshing nobody.
On a different note, I'd always been told that purchases were refunded when you scoop a character. So I'm confused when you say my previous purchases bring me down. I'll put 33,070,000 down.
Mulaney M. Midas • Wandering • Smith - Weapon Specialist • N/A • Threat: 4 • SD Earned: 19 • Beli: 5,250,000 • Location: Other Island, Grand Line #FFCC00
All fixed. Can't count 3 individual rank 20s apparently. Thanks for your help. Now I can do a branch instead. Just removed 10 spent TP from that last technique, so I should be at 104 spent.
