While Djazz understood very well the metaphor, he had his doubts about his opponent's ability to have the same steadfast determination of a stream... not to say that he was in some ways not willing, but rather, that a stream tended to last for many decades, while only a few wars in history ever lasted that long... In any case, what did surprise Djazz was that his opponent had defended his ship by launching a second shockwave of his own to collide with his attack. At first Djazz was disappointed with his option; it might have worked earlier when they were facing one another, but he hardly doubted Fudo for trying. So imagine Djazz's surprise when the two did in fact meet in mid air before hitting the ship and exploding in spectacular fiery fashion. Djazz's surprise would only be noticed by a heavy blink of the eyes. He was closer to the ship that Fudo and even with King's haki weighting him down himself and Fudo were at near equal levels of speed from what he could conceive. It would have been much harder for Fudo to get a grasp of Djazz's intention via precognition of observational haki because his intent wasn't aimed in anyway toward Fudo himself. Not to mention the fact that his slicing shockwave was incredibly thin as though it were a flying blade itself. Not only that but since they were both facing the ship, it meant that if Fudo's attack had missed it's aim of colliding in any way with his own shockwave, then the attack would have continued forward to hit his own ship! Did he really just attack his own ship on the off chance that the two shockwaves hitting each other would result in an explosion!? How he had managed to conjure up a shockwave that was fast enough to catch up with his own and then hit it with a slicing shockwave in such a way that it exploded instead of carrying the momentum forward and dooming his crew was either a stroke of intuitive genius or reckless luck. But if Djazz had time to ponder every time he believed that the impossible had in fact became possible then he would likely have been a dead man by now. It was in fact, fortune that Fudo's attack was perfectly timed because his real aim wasn't to harm the ship in any way if he could help it. His aim was only to get the man's spirits up a bit, not to genuinely doom his crew! He wasted no time continuing his assault however, Fudo then launched another such shockwave towards Djazz, albeit a bit weaker one. Djazz wasted no time hardening his armor even further, the 'Pure edge' was the strongest form of his haki and his entire body hardened into a black shell as he held up his blade, slashing at the shockwave; absorbing and dispelling the force as his feet dug into the sand acting much like a natural shock absorber. He was able to catch Fudo's rant; much of which sounded like it was for show, cluing Djazz in that he was still on board with the 'showmanship' of the fight, but also hinting that perhaps he truly did want to see more of what Djazz was capable of. In truth, he had already to some level assumed that if it came down to a serious fight between himself and Fudo that, as he was now, he would have the definite advantage. But Fudo himself had incredible potential, in fact, from his display today and his capacity to use King's haki he could only assume that this man had the potential to be among the conquerors of history. Perhaps another 'favor' he could do for Fudo is to give him a taste of a high level opponent, or at the very least, give him a fight worth having, "You're right Fudo. Perhaps I have been a bit unfair to you..." He said, thinking of his words before, "whether jagged or smooth, a rock in a stream is still a rock. A mere stream is not nearly enough to reduce it to the sand beneath us. To have a wake in this sea, you must roar like the waves of the ocean itself! He said, launching himself forward while raising his blade above his head to bring it down upon Fudo himself. His body clad in steel armor of will itself, the blade would be near indomitable. If you wish... I'll give you a taste of the skills that made me one of the greatest swordsman this side of the Redline. Spoiler: click to toggle Edited by TGIFlash, Jan 1 2016, 08:48 PM.

Rail Gun! In a sudden bombardment, 50 swords came slicing down from the sky like a piercing rain, each one carrying enough power to break through titanium. One-by-one they rained down impaling themselves in the sand atop the two combatants. The swords were very careful to barely miss Fudo, but they did no such favor for Djazz. He would find that not even his steel-strong skin of Haki would save him from the sudden change in weather. Though, with his combination of super-human speed and Observation Haki, he would probably just dodge the surprise attack. How vexing. Still, if things went as planned, Djazz's powerful lunge at Fudo should be interrupted, and that was something at least. In truth, this whole fight had been vexing to Wave. After landing, Wave had remained on the Marine battleship, inspecting it's entirety. He was fully convinced that it would prove a more capable ship than the smaller, shabbier one where Fudo's crew apparently was. That, and Wave was still uncertain about the 200-million-beli-man's crew. In all honesty, Wave wasn't certain of anything anymore. He had never expected to be strong-armed into joining some other pirate's crew, and it still made his hackles rise to think about it. So, he had stayed behind on the marine ship and planned to use his scanner to survey the man's crew from a distance. Wave liked to know where he stood on the food chain. He was surprised (and somewhat bored) to find that there was a medical emergency on board the other ship, and the rest of Fudo's crew needed saving. That didn't bode especially well for the future in Wave's mind. The sudden appearance on his scanner of someone who, like Fudo, registered a "Greater Threat" caught Wave's attention though. This man did not appear to belong to Fudo's crew, and indeed not long after he arrived, he and Fudo broke out into a fight which quickly moved to shore. Wave watched this fight with great intensity, and after a while, it was fairly clear to him that the stranger had the advantage. The reason why became apparent after a few blows. Wave recognized the man. His name was Djazz Hyperion. He was a crew mate of one of the shichibukai if Wave wasn't mistaken, and a world-renowned swordsman. Wave didn't know much about the man, but from his reputation and the show that was being displayed on the beach, Wave was pretty certain he had the upper-hand on Fudo. Wave had been torn about what to do (do I try to help the man who all-but forced me to join his crew?) but eventually decided to join in the fight. It would be bad karma, he decided, if his new Captain suddenly died at the hands of the Shichibukai's minions. Wave floated down from the sky above the beach as the sand kicked up from his attack settled. His feet touched the ground to the right and just behind Fudo. He had his 7-ft shield Aegis latched to his left arm which seemed like it should be dragging him down given the way it towered a full foot over his head, but he held it with a familiar ease. His favorite sword Alpha hung from it's scabbard on his left hip, as of yet, undrawn. He stood with his hands resting on his hips, glaring at Fudo and Djazz. You know, it's rude to throw a private party and not invite your friends. Especially if some of your party favors are going to make their way to those same friend's door. Wave glanced over at the churned up waters where the two fighter's shockwave attacks had impacted just before reaching the ship where Fudo's crew rested. I was torn whether or not I should involve myself in this. The man who tried (and succeeded) to scare me into joining his crew, and a famous swordsman and/or minion of a Shichibukai fighting to the death? I don't have much to lose in that fight. But the fact is, I seem to have thrown in my lot with this guy for the time being. And, of course, if the marines know you're here- Waved turned to look at Djazz. -then there may well be fame to be gained from aiding in taking you down. So, whether you like it or not... Wave turned to glare at Fudo. I'll be turning this Duet into a Trio. After all, I said I would follow you. I never said I would let you hog all the glory. Wave tensed himself as he finished his little speech, spreading his legs slightly wider in preparation to join the next movement. Despite his glare, a small smirk slowly started to spread across his face. techniques

4 weeks ago… The moderate sized ship tossed and rocked roughly in the violent waves, much to the dismay of its current Occupants. Thunder clapped all around with deafening effect, and the crew was assaulted with rainfall heavy enough that it stung the skin and eyes of the crew as they tried desperately to keep the ship afloat in the storm. An especially large wave had hit the ship earlier nearly capsizing it 10 minutes ago and washed away half of the crew on deck, this meant the ship was dangerously understaffed for handling a storm of this caliber. Fapple was doing the best she could to keep the thing together, manning sails and repairing critical injuries and holes before they became too flooded, but it was unfortunately a losing battle. As if to cement this, a tremendous wave that towered at least 50 feet higher than the ship was moving towards them. Twily dropped to her knees in utter defeat, quickly realizing that it was all over. This was doubly true for both herself and her lover Fapple who as devil fruit users would likely die horrible watery deaths once the ship sank and they became like stones in the water. “Damn it, it wasn’t supposed to end this way!” Twily cried out in despair. Fapple finally turned to see the monster wave approaching and dropped her hammer and nails, abandoning the task of trying to patch a hole in the side of the ship. She crouched down and hugged Twily for what might be the last time. “It’s alright there sugar cube, ah’m here fer ya, we’ll go out tagither, like we do evrythin else ya hear.” The farmhand consoled as she hugged her bookish counterpart tightly. The wave hit the ship and engulfed it completely. The ship vanished beneath the waves, its inhabitants seemingly lost. Current… “I hope you know this is all your fault, I hate you, and I blame you for everything!” Twily shouted as she folded her forelegs together sitting on her ass and stuck her nose at up Fapple Jack who was currently cutting a tree into several strips. By some miracle they managed to survive and wash ashore on a seemingly deserted island. And by deserted I meant there was no civilization here, just lots and lots of bugs and dinosaurs. The two had been living miserably on this island for just over a month now. Their hair, and fur was comically disheveled, sweat was so layered and caked into them that the smell alone was enough to deter some of the islands nastier predators, and their diet had consisted of nothing but grass and coconuts for the last 3 weeks. The lone silver lining is that as their Zoan forms allowed them to safely consume most plants they didn’t have to worry about starving. On top of that since this island was uninhabited, they could relax in their default Roxy’s Syndrome form without having to fear any social repercussions, though Fapple was currently in one of her hybrid forms so she could more accurately cut the wood into the necessary shapes. She let loose an annoyed growl and dropped the weather saw she had been using and wiped a patch of sweat out of her eyes, intentionally flicking it at Twily and causing her to grimace. “Oh yes puuhhleease tell me how in tha heck this is mah fault.” Fapple exclaimed with as much sarcasm and disdain as she could possibly muster. Twily decided to pretend she didn’t notice the sarcasm and take it as a genuine interest in hearing her out. “Well first if you had been more competent at ship repairs at sea we wouldn’t have capsized, second if you were so lazy and inefficient then you’d have built us a new ship by now, and third I’m sick of looking at your stupid face!” Twily spat at her companion, getting onto all fours and growing at her mate. Fapple dropped to all fours shifting to her Roxy’s form and got right up into Twily’s face pressing her nose against hers. “Well maybe if ya’ll hadn’t spent tha entire trip sittin on yer ass and HELPIN OUT FER LANDS SAKE, we wouldn’ta capsized, maybe if ya had used all yer fancy book learnin ta let tha helmsman know… oh I don’t know, we’re about ta head into a gosh darn storm, then maybe we wouldn’ta hit it. And if ya don’t like looking at my face, then ah can help ya with that. Ya’ll can just kiss mah ass!” Fapple spat back abruptly spinning around and whipping her tail into Twily’s face brushing it with sweat and loose hair. Twily winced and spat out a few of the long blonde hairs that got caught in her mouth in the process. “Oh don’t you tempt me you seductive bit- iitttch… Fapple, is the sun supposed to suddenly go out….?” Twily stammered as she looked to the sky and stared slack jawed at the cresting shadow washing over the island. Fapple spun around and was about to spit some more venom at her mate but simply stared slack jawed at the scene as well. It was a Marine ship, a giant Marine ship… flying over the treetops. It went out of view and the sound of it crash in the far off shoreline could be heard. Both Mares turned to each other with hopeful grins. “They came ta rescue us!” “We’re saved! I can finally get a bath!” “Did ya see tha size of that ship, and it flew too! Yeeehaw now that’s some marvelous engineering!” “Let’s go let’s go they won’t wait forever!!” The two ponies bounced up and down each excited for the prospect of getting the hell off of this crappy monster infested island. Both breaking into a full gallop it didn’t take long for them to arrive at the ship, which landed conviently next to another ship. Fapple pulled out her rivet rifle and aimed it at the top and was about to fire a hook line shot when she was stopped by Twily. “Hey hey hold on a second, forgetting something?” She explained gesturing to herself and Fapple with her fore hoof. She looked down at herself and then face hooved. “Right right tha pony thing… dun wanna scare off our potential saviors.” Fapple and Twily both shifted into their humans forms. Fapple’s blond head of hair was disheveled and messy, with loose strands sticking out all over the place. Twily’s was even worse, she wasn’t as used to outdoorsy conditions as Fapple was and her skin was pallid and her cheeks growing gaunt from hunger and the beginning onset of malnutrition. Fapple took aim and fired her Rivet rifle aiming for the decks edge and once she nailed her shot wrapped an arm around Twily and pulled them both up. Once they got to the edge of the sip they both weakly climbed on board the Marine ship and nearly collapsed. “Oh thank god someone finally came for us, I was worried we were gonna be stuck here forever! Thank god a Marine ship finally came aaaannnd it’s full of corpses… wow…” Twily and Fapple stared at the grim scene before them; the ship was full of dead marines. Fapple was the first to recollect herself, pulling Twily up to her feet afterwards. “Come on Twi lets check tha other ship, maybe there’s some people there too, and we can ask them fer a ride. Worst case scenario we can try and sail one of these ships away or ah can salvage them fer parts ta make one that we can use ta get offa here.” Fapple explained trying her best not to show how disappointed she was. She performed another rivet hook shot and swung to the next ship, which thankfully had some living people on it. “Oh thank god there are people here! Please help us, we’ve been shipwrecked on this island for a month and all I’ve had to eat is grass and coconuts! And even worse I’ve been stuck with this slobbish bitch the whole time!” Twily whined crawling pathetically towards the group of hopefully not imaginary real live living people on the deck. Fapple rolled her eyes but approached as well. “This prissy, stuck up, lazy, know it all, good fer nothing cunt is right, it’s been right miserable here! Ah dun care who ya are or what ya’ve done just get us outta here. Ah ain’t got any money, since it all went down with tha ship, but ah’m pretty handy, ah can fix just about anything if it’s broken. And while Twi ain’t good fer Jack shit, ah suppose if ya need ya can use her as a concubine or sumethin.” Fapple pleaded as well. Her last comment garnered an angry glare from Twily. “Hey! Don’t just bargain me for sex like that!” Twily spat back, suddenly forgetting their purpose for being here. “Well ya ain’t got nuttin else ta bring tat ha bargainin table. Besides, it was a compliment, ah’m saying yer attractive.” Fapple turned her back and crossed her arms. Her words seemed to strike a chord with Twily and she couldn’t help but smile. “Oh Fapple, I hate you so much~” She exclaimed as she hugged Fapple to make up in their own way. “Ah hate you two sugar cube.” Fapple reciprocated. They hugged for an awkwardly long amount of time before remembering what they were doing. Fapple and Twily both started to turn red from embarrassing themselves with their behavior. “Ah apologize, we’ve been stuck here fer awhile and our nerves are just about shot. As ah said we’ll do just about anything ta get offa this here island. Won’t ya’ll take us with ya please?” They both pleaded clasping their hands together and begging them with pleading eyes. Aboard the Beast Blood Pirates replica ship, standing by the rails, Alice watched the sparring match between her so called Captian and the mystery man known as Djazz. A man with indomitable power something that not even Fudo had yet yo achieve. Alice could tell the man was just playing with his prey. Djazz was not showing off at all, she could tell by the way he held himself. Fighters and soldiers all had this nature about them. It was something to behold for sure. But then, yet another ittitating event took place. As Djazz and Fudo sent out powerful blows creating shockwaves, they collided in mid air close to the ship, causing them bother to Explode and rock the ship. Sending Alice to Fall back into the Sand chair that Ryuu had formed. Mumbling under her breath Alice said as she struggled to stand back up. "Damn Fudo... always endangering lives. This battle you are in is because of you... I hope this man cuts your down. Alice glared at Fudo with annoyance as she pushed herself up form the sand Chair and back up to the railing of the ship. Looking back, she noticed the sand was flowing from the air and the beach and the one controlling it all was the man who happened to save her as well. Ryuu seemed to be moving the sand at will. A sand Devil Fruit eater it seemed. She would be careful of his abilities in the future. Doc... so you are a Cursed Man as well eh? Good to know... and thank you for the Save. The ruby red haired woman looked back at from above another man appeared, flying as he drove down a rain of blades upon both Fudo and Djazz. As the man seemed to know Fudo well enough, Alice could not stand for this interruption. Speaking up loudly, she addressed the trio in turn. "YOU THERE!! NEW FIGHTER!! REMOVE YOURSELF FROM THERE AT ONCE!! THIS IS A DUEL BETWEEN TWO MEN!! YOU HAVE NO PLACE IN IT AND YOU ARE DISGRACING YOURSELF AS WELL AS THE HONOR OF A FIGHT BETWEEN TWO STRONG MEN!! REMOVE YOURSELF BOY!! Alice huffed as she waved her right hand out through the air in a slashing motion. This was a private duel and it was a disgrace to interrupt such a thing. This new fighter, this blond headed boy was a novice as it seemed he had no respect. Looking to Fudo, she addressed him as well, FUDO!! Why are you holding back?! I have fought beside you for long enough to know you... Why are you holding back?! Show this invader the strength you really have! Prove to me and Ookami, Prove to all here your prowess, Prove to us all who you should be our Captian!! If you can not, Bow out with grace or allow the Swordsman to cut you down like the chicken that you are acting like right now!! Alice leaded against the wood of the railing as she used both hands now to express her opinions. Holding her hands with palms upwards asking her fearless leader for the time being why he was not throwing himself, his whole heart into this fight like he normally did. Was he afraid others might get caught up in the fight? Most likely not give the way he was so careless to allow a cutting attack and his own to narrowly take them out just moment ago. "Do you not care for your crew Fudo?! Do you not value our lives?! Fight this man Fudo!! Turning to Djazz now, Alice looked at him, her emerald eyes burning like the flames of hell as she was tired of these games. With the intrusion of the blond headed boy, it only served to ignite her fury. "And you!! Sword master. You said you came here to claim our heads but wish to spare us. Tank you! However... As a man, even if it is a sparing match, you too should give this your all!! Show us the strength of the man who can stand with a Shichi, Show us the power you really hold!'" Alice's knees were wobbilng as her stomach area started to turn pink then red as she had managed to burst a couple stitches in her ranting. Even still, she will would now allow her to give up, even in this moment. Her head spur as it was hard to remain standing. She had pushed herself farther then her body could allow in it's current state. The world fell black for a moment as Alice passed out back into the Sand chair Ryuu had created for her. Her body falling slack like a rag doll. She only hopped her strong words were enough to move thier hearts. For them to see even though she was close to death's door step she was able to find the strength to still put her all into something. Alice awoke scowling as she st within the Sand throne. Fingers curled around the ends of the arm rests. Alice once more addressed Ryuu, this time with a command. "Doc... Please remove that boy. I don't care how... A duel between men is a sacred thing. Kill him, maim him, do whatever you see fit. With the sun shining down upon them, it reflected off the sand and be it an illusion or a sign from the fates, if one looked closely, perhaps with the particles of sand in the air, it would of seemed as though Alice had a crown hovering above her head. A mark that showed she had the spirit to lead. As she addressed all those around her. Meanwhile, Behind them, a pair of strange beings were making their way to the event center and onto the pirate ship. Not having the strength to move, as Alice moved her right hand over to her bleeding abdomen, clutching her flesh through the cloth and bandages with as much pressure as she could. They spoke loudly asking for help, and throwing the other under the ship with offering one of them as a sex slave. Only for them to start talking in a loving way. It was interesting but Alice did not have the strength to properly address them. "Come! Join us! If you desire help, we can take you anywhere you want, just don't try anything or we will feed you to the seakings!" |

Ryuuchi remained silent as Keiko denied his assistance and instead entered what would otherwise seem to be her final resting place. An odd way to heal one's wounds yet not the strangest. The world was vast, there were several people with several unique physiological characteristics that required equally unique handling. If Keiko believed this to be the best way to treat herself, then so be it. She was no longer his responsibility, yet he'd still keep an eye on her. The battle between Fudo and Djazz still raged on down on the beach, though "raged" might be an overstatement of things. While, from what he could recollect, the fight was not supposed to be one with serious intent behind it, it was still interesting to see the various attacks they threw at eachother. Ryuuchi knew full well that he would not be able to match, much less best, either of them. In truth, he wasn't too sure about his ability to fight any of them, not that he intended to at such a point in the game. There are many other ways to defeat an opponent, most of them not involving battle. Ryuuchi was glad, however, that Djazz did not intend to kill Fudo as from what he could tell...the man would be able to do so if he were to wish it. Then there were the new arrivals, the two women that seemingly came out of nowhere. As they rambled on about needing a ride out of the island, seemingly uninterested in the battle below, Ryuuchi studied them. One of them had discolored skin and showed signs of severe malnutrition, while the other seemed in far better condition but showed signs of physical exhaustion. They would either be extremely well prepared and convincing actors to pull off such a con or people in actual need. Either way, the moment they began their loving talk between eachother, his attention shifted to Wave rushing into combat and Alice's reaction. The doctor stood silent while an infuriated Alice chastised all three of the people involved in combat, paying more attention to what appeared to be her stitches breaking than anything else. He looked up as she sat back and a smirk formed on his face, she talked and acted like a little queen...no, a little king sitting upon a throne. His vision shifted back down to Wave and a sigh was released "Godric, would you kindly entertain Wave and keep him away from the intruder before he gets us all inevitably killed?" he shouted toward Godric as sand gathered over his open left hand. Not only did sand seem to appear from his palm, but the loose sand around him, aside from that which was part of the throne, also seemed to gather and spin above his hand. Soon the small gathering of sand began to grow into a large and furious tornado of wind and sand. As the twister grew larger, Ryuuchi's hand was swallowed by it but he seemed unaffected, simply moving his arm in Wave's direction. The tornado immediately seemed to charge toward Wave as if it had a life of its own, aiming not to harm nor drain the blond haired pirate but instead to knock him away from the battle between Fudo and Godric. That was all Ryuuchi planned on doing regarding that, unless Godric had plans other than what had been requested of him. "Now then, calm down Little King." the red haired pirate spoke with a smile to the crimson headed woman sitting upon the sand chair "Lift up your shirt, let me have a look at those stitches before your wounds get worse." he moved in front of Alice, his hands reaching for her wound while his head popped out from behind the hair and he looked toward the two new arrivals "Fapple and Twi correct?" he repeated their names after having heard them speak it "Join me over here please, once I'm done with her I'll give you a proper check-up." Regardless of Alice allowing treatment or not, once he would be done with her, Ryuuchi would move to the two girls. Of course, should they allow the doctor to do his job, he'd do as he told them and give the two a quick examination in order to see if exhaustion and malnutrition were the only things that assailed their physical condition. As Alice sat withing her throne of sand. It came to her just how funny it was. Here she was, ordering everyone around as though she was an Ensign in the Marines again. Alice Looked back over as it seemed her words to Ryuu were going as wished as he called over the other man who had been standing by Fudo. Godric was his name, or at least that is what she thought she heard. Either way, she watched as Ryuu conjured up a storm of sand. The sand around them where he had attempted to assist her sister moved over his hand as it swirled into a little cyclone before moving to grow larger and larger. When It reached a select size, Ryuu unleashed it off to the beach below to ensnare the blond. Ryuu said his name was Wave. Unique, his pretty boy looks and golden locks might make for a good joke later. For now, things needed to be controlled. After the sand storm was done, Ryuu being the medical professional that he was moved over to attend to the demolition pirate's newly reopened wounds. As he grew close, Alice noted him calling her a king. As she lifted her shirt from her pants and shifting so that he had a better point of access to her wounds. Alice could not help but ponder on this. Why would this man call her a king? She was obviously a woman, but only she knew of her dark secret. A secret not even her sister whom slumbered in a make shift coffin knew. It was then it dawned on her. Ryuu was the one who helped patch them up. She was pretty damaged and the location of the wound would of been a place for cervical or even ovarian damage as well if she had any. Couple it with the fact that both herself and Ookami awoke in different underwear and bras then what they had originally had on, this would of meant that Ryuu had known about their privates. And as such, Ryuu would then know Alice's dark little secret. As the red head medic finished pulling the medical tape to keep her bandages together, she looked at him with a look of both fear and shock. Quickly grabbing ahold of his torn sleeve and pulling him close again, Alice whispered to him, "You know my secret... That is a deathly dangerous thing... so be wise to your choice of words when around others." Alice let the man go as she gave him a stern and deathly look but, the way her mouth was spoke that she was giving him enough trust to keep her secret as just that. He had been good and she indeed was enjoying his presence but... that aspect put her on edge. |

OoC Djazz was just about to launch into the 'serious' phase of fighting with Fudo when he heard the curious 'clank' of metal on metal that only swords could create. Having clash swords for years it was impossible for his ears not to pick up the sudden appearance of fifty blades. He hesitated only a moment in his attack to glance behind him, something that would otherwise be a 'no-no' in terms of fighting an opponent one-on-one, but with his steel exterior and even harder resolve he could have the mindfulness to be aware of his surrounding in the mean time. He immediately wanted to apologize to Fudo but... Ohh dear god what the... he said as a literal storm of sword flew toward him. This must have been an attack of of one of Fudo's crew mates, of course, and luckily none of the projectiles seemed to want to fly towards Fudo himself. This meant hat Fudo would was the 'safe zone'. With a quick flick of the wrist he activated the electromagnet in his gloves. While the swords were launched with particular speed and power with the power of magnetism, his own repelling influence was enough to push the swords just out of range of hitting him while using the area around Fudo as refuge. The appearance of the crew member would no doubt be a surprise to Fudo himself who was adamant to fight Djazz one on one. Whatever it was, this attack that came at him had Devil fruit ability written all over it. It wasn't like a single person could throw 50 swords all at once from various angles from the air while the thrower appeared in a different place all together and literally floated down as though he were some kind of Jesus allegory incarnate. And canonally speaking Djazz doesn't even know who Jesus is! (Then again, Kuma does have a copy of the bible with him so... Christianity is canon?). Apparently this guy wasn't keen as to the arrangement and wasn't present on the deck when he had made his initial introduction. Apart from the fact that he had littered the beach with blades it seemed as though this new comer also had a sword of his own; these 50 were probably of lower quality and meant merely for the sake of the attack he had just performed. Not only that but it seemed as though this guy had a chip on his shoulder as well. Intimidated into being part of Fudo's crew? Abandoning his previous attack, he hopped backwards a few paces, skipping through the blades stuck in the ground cautiously as though half expecting one to spring up and slash at him of their own volition. With each individual now equidistant from one another it would seem as though they were positioned in an equilateral triangle in relation to one another. While Djazz was in some ways excited for another combatant to join, he realized that this fella would be joining under false pretenses that this was a proper fight to the death or something along those lines. Djazz recalled Fudo himself, and having seeing the guy named 'Godric', but this one here must have been 'Wave', the third individual named as to the primary fighters of this crew. From what he could grasp, Wave was probably a rather recent addition to the crew, and his loyalty would be questionable at best. But it wasn't like they could just go back to the chatty session they had earlier and calmly explain that this was more of a glorified spar than a bonafied battle. It would most likely be up to Fudo to extinguish the stubbornness of his crew member. But before either of them had an opportunity to address the appearance of who he assumed to be 'Wave', it seemed as though there were already others of the crew who were less enthusiastic about Wave's intervention than originally thought. Namely one of the girls who shouted down from the deck, chastising Wave for jumping in between a 'fight of men'. While it was amusing at first, she then went on to bark at Fudo for holding back and then to even yell at him from the deck telling him to go all out as well. However, she also mentioned quite clearly the fact that he was in some ways trying to help Fudo and his crew. As she yelled that she was thankful for his attempts to help, Djazz eye twitched in subtle panic, "Tch! Tch! SHHH!!! ANYONE COULD BE LISTENING!" he said in a hushed yell. If the marines grew suspicious that Djazz was here for anything but offing the pirates, they were no doubt expedite their plans to ambush Fudo before they could leave the island. In an act of sudden disapproval a sandy attack spew from the ship and flew towards Wave. Djazz raised an eye brow, his head tilting ever so slightly as a look of concern mixed with a touch of disapproval appeared on his face, Man... this got messy fast. I guess I shouldn't expect too much more from a group of pirates... he thought to himself as he recalled times when Clover attempted to kill their very captain Izuru on a near daily basis. It was no secret that those who roamed the sea freely were prone to butting heads, even amongst individuals in the same crew. It wasn't too different from members of a family in that regard. While he had plenty of patience for the squabbling, he was afraid that his action, or perhaps inaction, may give away his intentions. Slowly turning his head to Fudo, the black exterior that was haki would slink away form his head as though it were a hood that he could control to reveal his face. The rest of him was still opaquely clad, "So what's the call captain. Going to let these stray dogs of yours run wild without a leash? You know there are leash laws around here right? If you won't put a bark collar on em' then I may have to put em' down." He said, winking as Fudo had winked at him before as though trying to convey that the bravado was still part of the 'play'. While he was more than welcome to participate more fully in the battle but priorities were priorities. If his cover was broken, he would have no choice but to follow through with his orders of disabling the pirate's ship in order to remain under the marine's radar for a little while longer. Tech

Keiko was asleep for some time now. Her eyes had slipped behind her head facing her brain. She was in a dreamless sleep that was very soothing compared to the mayhem outside. Now that she was resting she would feel more mentally engaged when she awoke. It had already past a good fifteen minutes or so. She was just lucky for no one to disturb her in her slumber. Especially, the fifteen-foot tall black rabbit. Before she had gone to sleep the rabbit retreated back underneath a cot with his legs poking out. Her chest rose and fell as madness rained on in battle. She was laying down on her back with her arms across her chest. Her hair hands were also folded on her chest, but now that she was asleep they were lifeless black clumps. Air swooshed in from the holes by her feet indicating movement in that direction. The head of her coffin was facing towards the darkness in the ship while her feet the opposing battlegrounds. Life was chiming by in every breath and particle of sand streaming through the scene. Keiko heard a heavenly voice, but alas this voice did not belong to Alice or the doctor. It spoke gently to her softly like mothers sweet lullaby. The voice sounded like an angelic man calling down to her from the heavens in his sweet coos. She knew this heavenly descendant was not one of the crew. Keiko heard her name being spoken and opened her fluttering lashes slowly to a blue light. The voice was coming from her sword Nirvana that spoke to her and only her. It had occurred to her that Kuro could not listen to his calming voice streaming to her ears for so many months. Nirvana barely spoke unless he had something important to say unlike its deviant counterpart Hellbound. Keiko took in some air half asleep and listened carefully. "Strangers have boarded the ship. Just stay alert." Nirvana was confident in his whispers and Keiko knew that. She did not like the sound of strangers being out and about when their captain was fighting. Perhaps these strangers were enemies, but Nirvana was not too worried about it, so she relaxed and stayed in her coffin. Keiko assumed that Nirvana just wanted her to know this information and be alert of those on board. She did not trust strangers, but the rest of the crew could take care of it. If Nirvana had not told her of their whereabouts then she could have killed them on sight due to her intense paranoia. Keiko whispered her sweet thank you to Nirvana for the head up. Her eyes were beginning to twirl back into her head when Nirvana's twin interrupted her from doing so. Hellbounds voice was not soothing whatsoever, but a mixture of seething, growling and raspy devilish answers. Keiko had been with Hellbound from the very beginning that corrupted her mind when they were unknown to the swords curse. It was not until she was in the sword's clutches that the black demon sword began to speak to her. The raspy voice glowed intensely like fire licking the inside of the coffin to burn her alive. "Yes, there are intruders...." Hellbounds voice was more closely related to the beasts trampling over the sea than humans. "You know my dear that you are weak. Do You need nourishment, and what is better than feasting on strangers? I bet they are the wrong kind of people to end up here. wouldn't you say so, my dear?" Keiko was now already used to the cons of Hellbound that was always trying to identify itself with intelligence and grace, as monsters do in story books. Sadly, she almost always listened to Hellbound rather than Nirvana. The twin swords were just her conscious split into two to rationalize any situation. The two swords went silent with their eerie lights. It was no question for which sword she should listen to, but which sword was that? Keiko made a little noise in the back of her throat before shutting her eyes again. Choosing which path to take was too difficult, she would rather sleep on it. She was aware of people on board, after all, what more could Nirvana ask for. Plue if she had more sleep she would feel a bit better. "Ungrateful wench! You do not deserve my guidance," spat Hellbound if swords could spit. The beastly words were long and dragged out to mock her. Her consciousness was slipping as the word wench being chanted until she could hear the swords no longer. There would be no point for her to exceed her own limitations just to be yelled at. No, she could wait for a decent meal, which would be live squeamish and screaming. She was so tired that is was no surprise to her that she did not awake again from the noises outside. It certainly was not her responsibility to take care of the fowling. However, she was not the only one worried about unknown figures aboard the ship. The infamous Kuro had changed positions crawling to Keiko's coffin and laying his body down flat beside it. He was attempting to hide though it would be poorly the black coffin did not do such a bad job. He watched with his red eyes on the doctor treating his patients. He clenched the straps of the coffin, maybe he could escape with his companion from these lunatics. Kuro felt unsafe, he did not enjoy the raging song of battle unless he was involved. He was nervous and above all ready to bite someone's head off. |

In his mind there was a file containing a written report. This mental note told him quite a lot about "Patient Alice", from something as simple as her measurements to how healthy her insides looked, the feel and the texture of her gallbladder, the tone of her intestines and much more. Most of it was information gathered in order to assess and deal with a patient's predicaments and some went into a small section dealing with possible physical weaknesses that could be exploited. There was, however, a small footnote when it came to Alice's mental chart and while it only contained a few words, it told a far greater and deeper story. He knew, she was aware of this fact and he made no intention of hiding it. The ninja trained in the medical arts that stood before Alice knew what he suddenly realized was a secret very important to her. Studying people was his bread and butter, his tools for survival and the expressions she made, the words she spoke and the tone that came out from her throat told him this information was secret held closely to her heart. Had she been a target for assassination years before, he would have used this secret as expertly and as viciously as possible. Alice was not a target. Picking one's fights is a key to staying alive. You don't poke the sleeping tiger while armed with a stick. There was no point to the information, there was no way he could or would use it unprovoked. Though seeing the look of fear in her eyes, the same eyes that were so impatient and focused only moments before, the same eyes that carried love and lust a few minutes ago, the same eyes that were full of such ferocity when she had awoken. The different emotions her eyes could not hide were, interesting. Ryuuchi grinned, though to keep up his professional mask or from pure pleasure as he had witnessed a great sight...not even he knew. He stood upright, looking Alice in the eye and gave her a slight bow. "Everyone has secrets." he whispered "But there is such a thing as doctor-patient confidentiality." he gently polled her shirt down once again, covering the treated wound and turned away. As the giant black rabbit moved next to the coffin, as the struggle still continued down on the beach, Ryuuchi approached the two young women. Removing his coat and dropping it to the ground next to him, he flicked his wrist and floating cloud of sand moved toward him, carrying a first-aid kit that had once belonged to the marines. "I'll start with Miss Twi. I'll be gentle." he said as he held out his hand, to begin the check-up. |

Fapple Jack and Twily Sparks were simply to worn out to fully notice everything that was going on with the group they were approaching, but when one of them start hootin and hollerin about whatever, something about a fight the gears began to click into place. It was only then that they both noticed that the red headed woman shouting was bleeding quite severely in the abdomen, and that they had a coffin on deck. The two of them began to feel a bit guilty about asking for assistance when it seemed like they were the ones in bad shape. Fapple awkwardly rubbed the back of her neck and removed her hat placing it over her chest. “Awww shucks ah’m sorry bout askin ya’ll fer help outta tha blue like this. Ah hadn’t even noticed that ya’ll were having just as much trouble as us, ah’m no expert with some fancy shmancy medial degree but ah’m pretty sure ya ain’t supposed ta bleed out the belly like that. Not ta mention looks like one of yer’s recently passed on what with the coffin an all. Ya’ll have mah condolences.” Fapple apologized empathetically. One member of the group began to fret over the redheads wounds and started dressing it, as well as calling them both over to get a closer look at them. He must be the ship’s doctor; well at least he managed to survive whatever disaster had happened here. And then he… shot a tornado of sand out of his palm… huh. Fapple leaned over to Twi to whisper. “Say Twi… did you see that guy shoot some sort of sandy windy thing outta his hand er was that jus me finally going loco in the coco?” Fapple asked curiously with equal parts dread and confusion. Twi had to blink a few times before her deductive reasoning kicked in. “He must be an ability user like us, a logia type perhaps, I read about them in a book once.” She whispered back. The two then approached Ryuuchi and allowed the supposed doctor to examine them both. Twi naturally went first being in the worst shape. He would undoubtedly notice that he skin was evenly purple all over; though this seemed to be her natural skin color as in the areas showing off the worst effects of malnutrition the skin was changing from a soft shade of purple to varying white’s greens and yellows. Second was that she had a small blunted horn sticking out her forehead. Yet another medical oddity but then again in the grand line far stranger things had happened. Aside from showing the early stages of dehydration, exposure, exhaustion, and starvation she looked mostly fine. A few small cuts and some bruises, likely from whatever shipwrecked them but there than being a bit gaunter than normal due to her poor diet since arriving she appeared fine. Fapple was more or less the same, though showing more serious signs of physical exhaustion. It was clear she was built a bit thicker, given the size of her muscles and her wider hips and bust. She appeared to be one very used to manual labor, and it was likely, especially given her country accent and having the general look of a farm hand that she was some sort of laborer by trade. She had likely been doing all the physical work since she and Twily had arrived on the Island. “Ah’m sorry again fer yer losses, must be hard as a doctor ta see everyone get hurt like that. When we saw that big’ol Marine ship flyin through the air we were really excited, thought that they had sent a rescue party fer us finally. We got there and everyone was dead! We hop on over here and see ya’ll alive but apparently got sum injuries too. Guess whatever hit those poor Marine folks got to ya’ll as well. Ah’m a carpenter and an engineer by trade, if’n yer ships need some fixing up ta get offa this island ah’d be happy ta help ya with tha work once ah can get some real food in me and get mah strength back up. Least ah could do fer ya’ll helpin us out.” Fapple said humbly offering them her condolences for whatever losses they suffered as well as her thanks for helping them out. Twily looked a bit uncomfortable under the scrutinizing gaze of a stranger, even if he was a doctor checking her for any serious injuries, but put up with it and let him do whatever he was doing. “So what are your names? You know ours already, what should we call all of you?” Twily Asked trying to steer the conversation to a lighter hearted note as opposed to the sour one the conversation had turned to. |

Keiko was in a deep sleep, but the sounds of echolocation were still slipping through to her dreams. The great queen bat was at her nuisance again. Keiko was dreaming that she was in a dark place drifting down that appeared to be water. This scene reminded her of space with the water pearling and rippling above her head. there were bubbles in the water slowly making their way up in the black water, but they were each an individual color. Keiko's eyes were half closed in her dreamy state unaware of such a place she could never imagine with books. Her gaze followed the bubbles to the surface that was becoming more and more far away. The deeper she sank the bigger the bubbles became. She had the impulse to touch one but refrained from doing so. She didn't need air here. She was worried that taking in a sip of air from the bubbles could suffocate her like fish on land. She dodged the bubbles as she fell, but the more she sank the more inevitable it became. Keiko raised her index finger to a dark purple bubble that almost appeared an ultraviolet as it glowed in the darkness. She moved her hand back unsure of what to do. I guess a little air couldn't help, she thought to raise her lips to the bubble and took in a breath of air. It may be just a dream, but it was only too real for Keiko. She is a lucid dreamer with horrid nightmares. The intake of air from the ultraviolet bubble had an effect on Keiko's real body. Her air hands in the coffin were changing in color slowly from the roots to the tips of her hair. However, she is unaware of this change to her body believing she is only in a dream. The ultraviolet bubble popped and her dream body became light with the air of the bubble making her float upwards. On her drift back to the surface she saw the giant bubbles layered on top of each other on colorful layers. The bubbles blinked revealing themselves to be two giant eyes. Keiko knew what was upon her now but the will of the great bat. Even in her slumber, Keiko shivered. The last dream she had with the bat swarming with anarchy she was forced to swallow the creature whole that was the size of a house, in her dream state of course. Keiko didn't like the idea of being caught by she beast again. Keiko quickly raised her fingers to the giant bubbles touching them so they could disappear. The more bubbles she touched the faster she floated to the black surface. She had reached the top and pulled herself out of the water to a small white island. She dropped on the small island. She noticed that her body did not sink into the sand, but instead clattered to the floor. Keiko's eyes opened wide, this isn't an island. Meanwhile, in the real world, Kuro was shivering outside the coffin with fear. Keiko's hair hands found their way out of the coffin through two holes. The hands were dastardly colored like a jumbled up rainbow slowly making their way towards Kuro. The black rabbit didn't realize the hands were nearing him. Kuro was too busy watching those outside of the darkness. He saw the strangers fumbling around and one appeared to be a unicorn he thinks Keiko calls it. All he knows is that he saw someone with horns on their head. This made the rabbit more fearful and less alert to anything else. The hair hands began to massage Kuro's head right behind his ears in rotating motions. Kuro's shivering began to cease and he became calm. The black rabbit was purring and kicking his leg in the air. Kuro suddenly felt joyful. The hair hands stroked his back up and down quickly before returning to the coffin. Kuro did not even notice the presence of the hands. The black rabbit made his way to Alice. He had come out of the shadows and went past the new pair on deck. They were definitely injured he waved at them politely before stopping under Alice. He waved at Alice also wondering if she needed any help. His crescent smile revealed his sharp predatorial teeth, but even so the lanphan was overjoyed to see her. |

The two attacks collided as planned, but just mustering the strength to have so many techniques at once, caused Fudo to stagger. His heart skipped a few beast, sadly not do the the majestic combination of colors his attack had caused. Taking a hesitant deep breath, the big cat zoan twitched for a moment. His body felt cold, as though he had plunged into an ice filled bathtub, or into the waters of Cerbi G. All at once, he felt sickly. Staggering back a step or two as sand, wind, and sea water splashed about in the wake of the explosion. The fire that had momentarily crackled upon the skin of his right arm became extinguished all at once. His observation haki and conquerors haki beat down on Djazz as irregularly as the heart in his chest. Sharp pain caused the zoan to drop his left arm directly down to his side. It flopped down and beat his side like a sirloin on a cutting board. Sweat began to pour down upon his face, as he looked up at his opponent with a dulled golden gaze. Fuck, this is not the fucking time for my body to start giving out. This is embarrassing as all fuck. Who demands a hardened spar and then begins to fall apart after their own attack; pitiful. This Djazz person, just like all the rest, looks down upon me. If he hadn't he will now. I am a shabby mess, nothing to admire or appreciate. Nothing to aspire to or praise. I am nothing more than a broken fucking man. With this broken fucking body, I cant...I can't even see out of my left eye. I can't even see where Djazz is...I feel cold. My chest. All of the people here are watching me, and I can't even have a serious moment. I can't see the ending of this spar, but I can see the end of my rope...I can see...a regretful end. Damn, I sounds like the old man. Fudo's negative thoughts were accompanied by irregular breaths, and mumbled speech. He would fade in and out of consciousness for a solid ten seconds or so. As always, the captain's selfless behavior was causing him physical distress. With a poor diet, sleep regiment, harsh fitness regiment, and innumerable injuries, the man was simply falling apart. One would call luck the perpetrator of Fudo's long life thus far. But luck, like most things in life was a figment of imagination in the lives of those who had little faith in themselves. Luck wouldn't be barely surviving on the Grand Line for nearly half a decade among the refuse and evil of the sea. Luck would be living a peaceful, rich life by chance. Luck wouldn't be surviving a dozen gun shot wounds, sever stabbings, a disembowelment, slavery, and being a slave camp experiment while amassing a bounty. Luck would have been avoiding every bad instance and person the sea could conjure. Luck wasn't behind Fudo striking the shock wave created by Djazz midair with his own shock wave. If anything luck was behind the poor physical condition Fudo was in. For if Fudo had been in peak condition and internal shape, Djazz would be little more than a passing thought for the Beast as he went to crush the marines watching him. But luckily enough, just like ghouls, goblins, and gods luck was just an idol created to rationalize the world. If luck existed, Fudo would be one of the unluckiest men in the world. The blast was close to them. All of them. I'm sure I will hear it from them sooner or later. All of them are loud mouthed fucks. Never showing...I better be more careful. I have to focus. I have to just do this simple task, and then we can all go. I can teach Keiko how to fish. We can go, I just have to focus...We can train and have fun. I just have to kill Djazz. The marines are here. Where did Trevelyan go? Where did Koga go? I just have to kill. I just have to live and kill. Fudo had stopped breathing for some time as he spoke. After staggering a initially, he simply stood with a single arm raised, with the other planted to the side of his body. Leaning towards his left, his dull eye gleamed in the light, unaware of anything happening around him while he stood motionless. Fudo appeared to be nothing more than an idol erected in the name of masochism. Fudo's heart was slowing to a crawl. The little oxygen he had left in his body was fueling jumbled monologues to run through his mind as he slowly drifted closer into the abyss. He was unaware to anything after his first attack landed with Djazz's own. His body would nearly succumb to the heart attack he had just suffered, but he'd soon regain his sight, and would begin once more. By chance he did not go unconscious and die on the spot, instead he only crept closer to the edge of the abyss. HE'd now be peering into it as his regained sight showed haki hardened Djazz staring back at him. Fudo's brows would twitch, and he would slowly raise his fallen left arm back to his side. The flesh was still tingling from the internal issue that had transpired. This would cause the big cat zoan to shake the limb 'awake' since it had lost almost all feeling. Djazz would begin to speak to Fudo, and it seemed that the ancient zoan would have gained consciousness in the nick of time. Seeing as Fudo could have been out and cut down while unconscious in a few more moments. Focusing his mind on Djazz, Fudo solidified his observation and conquerors haki. The swordsman had the intent to make this a more serious bout, and though that is what Fudo had asked for, his condition had spiked and would leave him without much opportunity to move. Perceiving the strike was incoming, Fudo attempted to move in some manner, First he tried to move his legs, but they felt like they were made of iron, then his hands, again, they too felt like iron. After a few unnoticible fidgets, the zoan came to the quick conclusion that he'd be unable to move at all from the attack and take hte brunt of the blow head on. Likely with the results amounting to little more than death itself. Unable to even speak or respond to Djazz, the zoan stood tall and gave a grunt to Djazz. Intending to shout out some final profanity filled sentence, he couldn't even muster to mouth the word 'fuck'. Instead he glared at his opponent and the on coming attack. Damn near accepting his fate, Fudo awaited to succumb to Djazz's skills. Fortunately enough Wave had entered the picture at the absolute right time. Firing the blades into the sand and thankfully around Fudo, the devil fruit user provided momentary sanctuary to the ancient zoan. The iron rods bore into the sand and kicked up quite a lot of the grainy earth up overall. Wave would announce his participation in their bout alongside his captain. The way he announced it was rather dramatic, but that's what Fudo enjoyed about the man. Standing tall with Wave behind him, Fudo attempted to speak but could only offer a grunt. A moment or two would pass and he'd slowly feel his body return to a manageable state. "I expected you to show up sooner or later, Wave." Fudo gaining control of his motor functions even more. The martial arts master tilted his head back and forth and began to crack it as well as rotate his arms in his shoulder sockets. His body still felt cold despite the heat beating down on the beach. But he at least was capable of movement. With the blades being dug into the ground, Fudo was taking the break to conjure up a plan that would provide some longevity to the fight. He was aware of how his body would now react to overwhelming stress currently, and would have to hold back. At least that was his initial thought. Though he was grateful to have regained his faculties, no matter how poor they were, he was unhappy to hear and feel the Alice and her influence. The depraved woman had nothing better to do but mouth off in this moment. Causing her captain to nearly blast a shock wave in her general direction. Anger filled his mind as Alice, the near constant pain in the neck mouthed off as though she were in a condition or place above his own. This fucking bitch. Alice, shut the fuck up you short fuck. When you were a tall bitch you weren't such a fucking loud mouthed fuck. Now that you've gotten shorter, some fucking way, shorter, you've only made up for your loss of size by being the biggest fucking annoyance I have encountered in my fucking life! You know what is coming to you You Fuck you know what is coming! Some bitch smacks for the loud mouthed bitches! Fudo was cringing at every word that exited Alice's flat, hard, peach fuzz having, wall-like, plain as fuck mouth. All you do is run your mouth and complain. Bitch, you are alive because I am alive, not the other way around. Take your flat chested, flat-ass'd, pea-brained, fuck shit bitch nonsense, and go fucking drown yourself you scaley green eyed bad breathed bitch! With the little mobility he had, and energy, The captain all at once wanted to 'sky walk' up to the ship and strangle Alice's petite ivory neck; snap it and feed Keiko the juices. Turning his head to Alice who was poorly speaking about Fudo's and Djazz's agreement was about to suffer for her insubordination and generally undesirable speech. Knowing he was capable of slowing the actions of at least five people with his strongest technique, Fudo focused his conquerors haki upon Alice with all the malice and ill intent he could possibly muster. She would not die, she wouldn't even get the back of Fudo's haki and seastone covered fist, she would only feel the anger she had placed in her captain. "Alice, shut the fuck-" Sand overtook Fudo, nearly causing him to choke on the unnaturally formed sandstorm that covered he and Wave. Further angered, Fudo burst from the sand and glared up at the ship, some one else aboard had caused this and he didn't know who. But in the moment he didn't care and simply chalked it up to Alice and her usual fuckery. "Chicken? Discgrace? Fuck, if you want everyone to be in danger, then everyone will be in danger! Of me!" Referencing Alice's rant, Fudo then heard Djazz speak about leash laws or something of that effect. At this point, all the shit was really getting to the man, and he was loosing a bit of self control. In the span of a few minutes he was looked down upon, his orders were ignored, his crew disrespected him, he nearly died, and he somehow got sand in his mouth and face, which was uncomfortable to say the least. With a weakened body, the captain was intent on making himself a threat, a visible threat, and to do that, he lowered himself to the ground. Taking the stance that more often than not harmed him more than helped. Lowering himself to the ground, he recounted his lack of control when in this stance, and decided to keep things relatively close quarters to ensure that he didn't shoot himself off into the ocean or trees. With a short and calculated dash the captain moved at full speed with his right arm held out to his side. HE could not properly see everything he was doing, but he moved in a straight line and threw a punch with enough power to launch anything it touched. The punch was aimed at the center of mass of Djazz, hoping to make up for his inherent lack of accuracy with a larger target and awareness of his body in relation to the man before him. Until this point no one had seen Fudo in this stance, so it should have been a shocker for him to move so quickly when he had never done so before. Trying to think of something cool to say fudo blurted out, "I am the the sea!" as he attacked. Spoiler: click to toggle

Alice sat within her sandy throne as She looked down upon the beach, looking down upon a fool and two great warriors. It was almost like she was a Roman Emperor sitting high up as two gladiators fought for survival and freedom. It was a nice parallel to the current events as in deed Fudo and the rather impressively dressed man known as Djazz took to combat in the hopes of both surviving the threat of execution via Marine cannon fire. They were fighting for their freedom as well. Fudo was fighting for his, her own, for her sister's, for Ryuu's. For Godric, for everyone around them. Truly Fudo had a heavy burden to carry as he struggled against his more skilled and powerful opponent. However, It seemed her words had done as intended. Moving the hearts of everyone around her into doing as she wanted. For her new found friend and fellow red head, Ryuu called upon the help of a muscle bound man named Godric to assist in rendering the golden haired pretty boy who showed up out of the blue with no warning or anything into a private fight he had no place in joining. While, she did chastise him for doing so, she recalled that had he not done so, the mighty Fudo very well might not be standing as alive as he was currently. The sands swept down like divine justice upon Wave as they pulled him back and away. However, some of it seemed to also gotten all up in Fudo's face as well. As per Fudo, It was going as expected as she could spot blood vains popping all over him as the man seemed to burn with the same usual fire as he always showed. However, this burning fire was in the form of anger it seemed as he turned to look right at her as she sat within her throne and a great pressure came down upon her. He was using his power of kings haki. However, even as it came down on her like a the very world was on her shoulders, Alice looked back at him with a smirk. It was a sort of back fire that she expected but, the results are what mattered in the end. As Fudo was now fully in the heat of battle, a new burning inferno of passion for fighting raging in him now. Turning her attention back to Ryuu, he whispered to her that in fancy medical professional terms that he would keep her dark secret safe. Sighing with some relief. Alice turned her gaze back down to the beach below. All the while behind her Ookami Slumbered within her coffin. As well as the new arrivals, the two mystery girls named Twi and Jack. Ryuu seemed to be going about his duty, doing a quick physical on them. One of them, the sound of a more down to earth being asked that they give their names since, after all, all the crew and others knew theirs. Shrugging from her throne of sand. Alice extended her right arm out and waved half heartly to them speaking up saying, "Im Alice, Resident Inventor and Demolitions Export. The one in the Box is named Ookami. My sister is a bit... strange. The rather large black furball is Kuro, her pet. Nice to meet you two by the by." Alice was quick to shift in tone and mood as her plans were going as she saw fit which naturally made the ruby red head to have a more chipper tone of voice. "The Pussy cat down on the Beach is Fudo, kind of a meat head but he is a good man with a good heart. He is currently the acting Captain of the crew... there is a little bet going on where whoever bests him can become the captain." Alice let slip this detail to everyone within earshot namely to poke Fudo some more. She knew he was going to so get her back for this and the food dye... and the dino guts. But it was well worth it. He had not been the best Captain as of late, so, maybe now that he was in his prime, finally with his serious game face on, he would show everyone why he was the man with a two hundred million bounty. Why he would become King, why he has been the sole leader of this rag tag band of pirates for so long. Alice still did not respect him as a leader, but, she wanted to see if he still had it in him. Alice wanted to see if he was able to bear the burden of not only his life, but the lives of his crew, the lives of those he loved or cared about. If Fudo could prove this, it would be one step to her respecting him as her captain once more. For now, all she respected of him is his skills and as his friend. After all, Friends know just which buttons to press to get a friend to be at thier very best. |

Though he had only joking taunted at Fudo there was something that was just 'off' about the man. Now he had never met him before and was unaware if it was just some quirk of his, but for some reason he gave off the impression that he already have one foot in the grave. Now that he thought about it, he did show up with a hand full of the combatants already wounded. Perhaps the events before he showed up had damaged Fudo as well and his appearance had forced his hand into a fight he wasn't up to? These prideful types were more than happy to suck it up and try to continue to fight even if they were knocking on death's door. Either way, it seemed as though with all the focus he was putting on survival that he would have a hard time processing all that was going on. Hell, even Djazz was confused at this point. There was one thing that was interesting about Djazz's hypothesis. Say he was fighting a guy at only a fraction of his capacity now. It was still impressive in some ways that he'd be able to maintain and utilize haki, let along King's haki, while in such a condition... While Djazz was a few notches too compassionate to be a bonafied pirate, he had to remind himself that he had his own purpose for being here and his own agenda to assert. If Fudo truly wanted to continue, then Djazz would not hesitate. Unfortunately, Fudo never really bothered to address Wave besides just saying that he was expecting his appearance. While it was nice to confirm that this was the third battle ready individual on the ship, it wasn't exactly helpful not knowing his intention so for now Djazz would only figure that he was hostile for now. It would, however, make things more interesting and make it a bit easier to justify his faked death if the two of them were attempting to overwhelm him. Lurching over, Fudo took an entirely different stance then previously and it was the clue to Djazz that he was preparing to attack once again. This clue was solidified in his minds eye by the premonition of a singular punch but when Fudo took off at speeds he hadn't previously seen from the man, his instinct kicked in to protect himself. Through brute force he moved to block at an incredible speed himself, placing his sword in front of the incoming punch. Unfortunately, the blade edge was facing Fudo from when he flipped it to use the shockwave and hadn't thought to turn it to it's reverse-blunt side once again. Thus, Fudo's fist would drive into the edge of his blade and upon follow through would cut his own fist if it weren't for the knuckle dusters. The knockback was still palpable from the momentum of the punch, but much of which was mitigated by the sandy foundation under his feet which once again acted as though it were a shock absorber for his shoes to dig into. It was only then that his brain registered that Fudo had said "I am the the Sea." and only a moment later that he realized that his blade was incidentally turned to its deadly position. Whoops... he thought. It was kind of comical in a way but he tried not to show any amusement on his face out of respect for Fudo. Really? Was that all he could come up with? "I am the the Sea?!" and stuttering at that. No doubt the blood wasn't quite getting to his head. But he had to hand it to the man, he was a few paces faster; and with the tether of King's haki he was a speed class above Djazz in terms of raw speed. Luckily what he lacked in physicality at the moment he could make up for in technique. The force of Fudo's blow was actually less than what he expected. While the follow through itself carried momentum, the actual power behind the punch was less than previously, "Ahh I get it..." He said, as the epiphany lit up in his mind, "Exchanging raw power for speed huh..? Not a bad switch of strategy though... but with King's haki weighting me down I feel like it was the strategy all along. That's a dangerous game... I'm not so convinced that you have the reflexes for your own speed, let alone mine." He said, staying clashed with the man for now as he kept his senses keen to the other individual. Normally he would counter attack Fudo himself, but with this 'Wave' individual fresh to the battle field he was more keen to being cautious, "So what will you do when my technique trumps speed alone, Mr. 'the the sea'." Considering the many different types of people Ryuuchi had met around the world over the years, purple skin and a blunted horn were fairly unimpressive oddities. Medically speak as well, aside from a rather unique color to her skin, there was nothing too out of place on the young woman's body. Ryuuchi carefully examined the first woman, checking the basics thoroughly before moving on the the sturdier one. While both of them seemed to be fine, they were in serious need of proper rest and nourishment, things that would be rather hard to provide given the current situation he and the crew were in. Despite their current physical condition, the two of them were rather attractive women and letting their health decline would be a pity. As such, he'd look after them properly after the crew was in the safe waters. His check-up finished right around the time when Alice began introducing herself and part of the crew, or at least the entirety of the official crew at the time. Ryuuchi himself was not too sure about being a member of the so called "Beast Blood Pirates" just yet as even though Fudo was considered the captain by all, Alice and Keiko seemed to carry enough influence to overturn his decisions. At least, that was the impression the young red headed pirate gave with her dominant and aggressive personality that seemed to clash with Fudo's own. "Now Alice, antagonizing the captain too much might be counter-productive, especially in this delicate situation." Ryuuchi quickly voiced his opinion of Alice's obvious taunts toward the man fighting down below in the sand and then turned to face the two women again "As for me, Alice calls me Doc and that will do for now." Ryuuchi paused for a moment, his eyes studying the two women carefully. Their health made them mostly harmless, however the blond one had a sturdy and capable body. She seemed to be someone used to hard labor and it was likely that she was the reason they had survived on the island for what appeared to be weeks. Considering they were on an island full of giant and ancient monsters, people that could survive even a few days would not be normal. He wanted to test them a little. "You needn't worry about that which murdered the marines for it didn't get us. As a matter of fact we are the ones that dispatched them not too long ago." he said in a casual tone, his grin still quite visible and his eyes focusing on their expressions "You are currently in the presence of pirates, the scum of the sea. If you have any issues or objections...you are more than welcome to voice them at this moment." he opened his arms as if to show that he was unarmed and not dangerous.
