Morning was breaking and there was nothing but the roars of beasts and sounds of trampled earth filling the air. The behemoths that filled the island were hungry and ready to take on a new day. Just like our heros Koga, and the rest of the beast blood clan. Last time we met them they were investigating the strange deaths of several odd inhabitants, now, we return a day later, with the group running for their lives within the bush of Little Garden. Will they survive? Only fate can tell!

Rainen had been struggling for about a week. Out at sea, the Grand Line was tearing him to shreds. He knew he was weak, but after all his time spent dreaming about true adventure, he refused to do anything but pres on. Standing tall in the midst of a storm, he willed his small vessel on. It was a small dingy he had stolen from his home town, and it was quickly falling apart in this storm. He turned, realizing that his small ship was quickly filling with water. Grabbing his handy bucket, he fought had to scoop out the water and stay afloat. He had gotten most of the water out, and stood, wiping his brow. It was utterly useless due to the amount of rain. A sudden crack of lightning splintered the mast of his small vessel. It stumbled through the air, seemingly in slow motion and cracked hard against Rainen's skull. The young man collapsed, and fell against the edge of the boat. Many hours later, Rainen blinked his eyes open, and could see nothing but white. Surely he was dead? Sitting up, he looked around. His body was stiff from having been unconscious in such a horrid position for so many hours. He checked through his belonging's and saw that his two axes, the only valuable things he owned, were still securely strapped to his side. While he looked around, he realized that he most certainly wasn't dead. Not only that, he was free from the storm! He smiled, which turned to a grin, which turned to hysterical laughter. He was alive! what a relief... He pushed himself into a more comfortable position and scanned the horizon for something. Looking out in front of him, he saw absolutely nothing, but as he turned, he realized that he needn't look for anything. A massive island towered behind Rainen. Grateful for land, he grabbed his paddles, and made his way there as quickly as possible. Rainen reached the edge of the land within ten minutes, and scanned the edge for any docks. Seeing none, he simply rowed to the edge of the Island, and hopped into the shallow water. Wading into some dirt, he looked around. In a rage, he turned, unsheathing his axe with blinding speed (or so he thought) he slammed it into the bottom of his dingy, splintering the wood and causing it to sink rather quickly. Releasing a long sigh, he re-sheathed his weapon, and turned. He walked slowly into the jungle on Little Garden, completely unaware he was walking onto an island of monsters dating before the first Pirate King. |

Alucar dashed through the thick jungle. The man's obsidian black locks drifted lightly through the air like a cape behind him. He weaved through the trees, running frantically from around ten if not more Marine mooks, or at least that was what he counted last time he was with his traveling companion Wave. The Golden hair man and he were previously separated by the assault of a T-Rex Zoan Marine. The man was a fierce-some foe, but Wave could handle it.At this point in time, running was becoming a chore and Al knew he either needed turn and fight or he would die without a fight. It was an enraging turn of events. Turning to face what may be his last fight, he manifested his drill from his right hand. The drill spun and screamed like the cries of small animals, it's hum more eerie then an orange August moon. The whispers and chattering of men could be heard as the sounds of footsteps were added to the masterful symphony of sound that was taking place. In this moment, Al calmly stood in a bit of shade; the dense vegetation was nearly overwhelming his figure, concealing him from sight. The sharp spear-point of his scorpion-like appendage glistened against every ray of light that hit it under the canopy cover. He laid in wait like a snake on prowl and before long, a line of men started to run past the makeshift trail that Alucar himself was running through. It wasn't well laid out and didn't have smooth surfaces, a few rocks littered the path. In the corner of his eyes, he could make out that the movement was ending and the last man was nearly past him and no time would be better to strike. Just as a snake, after waiting patiently, he finally had his time to struck; in a blink of an eye his tails shot out like a coiled Rattlesnake, and torn into the neck of the fated Marine who was lagging in the back of his pack. The metal pierced through as blood spurted out the other side, his metallic spear point dripping. He angled his weapon up in order to "sink the hook" and pull the man into the dense brush and switched places with him. Picking up the gun that the man dropped Al took it in his hand, sprinting forward again; taking the point of the barrel, he handled it like he was to Joust in an event. He leaned forward and aimed the sharp knife that was strapped to the end of the barrel into the man's spine. He screamed in terror and pain as the group turned to see Alucar ramming the barrel of the gun into the now dead Marine over and over again on the ground. He looked up and drew his gun like he was going to shoot. "Howdy der Partner." he said, overflowing with confidence, a bit of strain wrinkling his forehead hidden underneath his long, wild bangs. "Drop your weapon you freak!" one of the Marines said with a scratchy scream, like nails on a chalk board. "You have a T-Rex for a Commanding Officer and I am the freak... k... die! Hahah!" he laughed, firing the gun and turning his back to them, his right protecting behind his head, expecting to draw their fire. Murderous Intent gleamed in the reds of his eyes. ![]() *bang* *bang* *bang* *bang* *bang* *bang* *bang* *bang* Nine shots could be heard, one by itself followed by eight more that muffled each other. As Rainen took his fist few steps upon the island he would be welcomed by the roaring of beats off in the distance. Unaware to the prescence of such things would likely cause a scare in the young man from the blues. Off in the distance he would see many footprints leadng into the brush of the jungle. These steps were not entirely human however, as most seemed to be the work of small lizard like animals. Whatever the case, whoever made the footsteps were likely long gone as the inprints were filled with water from the previous nights high tide. From within the orchestra of roars and wails he would hear the distinct bang of guns. The likely familair noise was not from Alucar or his opponents however, it was from a deeper part of the forest. While Alucar was attempting to handle the marines he would have lost sight of the fact that the island was infested with beats, reptilian or otherwise. In the large bush he and the other marines were would be a large centipedes mesting ground. Unlike the small insects of normal islands, he massive insects of Little Garden were collosal titans. The largest ones would be between three and five meters, the smallest between half a meter and a half meters in length. All of them however shared the trait of being very durable. Their outer covering would vary between rock like durability to iron durability. However their undersides were faily frail and could be targeted by normal strikes. Back behind Alucar, a large centipede began to gnaw on the fresh corpse of the marine. He centipedes were fairly silent and unseen in the thick bush. While in a standoff there would be several marines in front of the cyborg who would scream out in fear and pain, within moments Al would see why. One of the smaller entipedes would wrap around the metal leg of the would be god, and attempt to knaw on his thigh. npcs

Rainen walked a small distance, and came to a dead stop. The bellowing sound of beasts could be heard from deep within the island. That's nothing from back home... He thought solemnly, glaring at the blazing sun, and willing the area around him to be colder. Sadly it didn't work. Walking forward, he kept his eyes peeled while unbuttoning his shirt. Once he had accomplished his goal, he felt slightly cooler. Noticing a small group of tracks a bit further inland, he jogged over to check on them. Kneeling down next to the tracks, he could immediately tell that it wasn't human. Or at least not completely. They were wider, and the toes were longer and more spread apart. He dabbed the inside with two fingers, and felt seawater. Not knowing anything about this island, he wasn't sure when high tide was. Hell, he might have gotten here right after high tide. He would need to tread carefully if he were to follow these tracks. Mulling it over under a tree, he looked around to see what else he might find while at this island. He could see a volcano in the distance, and prayed that it wasn't active. Though with all the other things happening on this island already, he wouldn't be surprised if it was. Sighing loudly, he pushed himself to his feet and walked opposite of the tracks. He wasn't interested in getting mauled within a week of starting his adventure. He turned to walk away, and began meandering back towards the open area, so that he could see any threat long before it reached him. Whipping his head around about halfway, he heard the first familiar thing since he'd been on the island. Gunshots. Sprinting in their direction recklessly, he knew this would likely be his only shot at ever surviving in this island. He had no idea what he was dealing with here, but knew that it was probably hundreds of times stronger than he was, if not more than that. He tore through the foliage recklessly, in an attempt to make it to the gunfire. He didn't consider that it might be enemies wielding said guns. Ahh, who gives a shit. He'd deal with that once he got there. |

Screams of terror caused the Doctor's heart to flutter, they finally seem to understand that death stands before them. A wide grin spread across his face, though there was something wrong, the Marines eyes were focused down on his leg rather than the sharpened metal that hung over Alucar's head; with this feeling, the sensation of skin crawling wrapped around his leg and he finally saw why; why they screamed. Two feet in length, a dull, dirt-brown Centipede, grey in shade, made it's way up Al's leg. It wrapped around his leg a good many times. Alucar would need to choose what he would do quickly, time was of the essence; would he ignore the over-sized bug and unleash a surprise attack, or would it be more wise to take on the small creature? The Marine's seemed to be a bit off put, and what harm could a bug do to a God? What was the more entertaining path to take, or was it more important to find Wave? Decisions, decisions. Alucar did what he felt naturally, what his gut told him. It was as though murder was the natural instinct of the man because slaughter was soon to fall. "Life is a give and take..." he muttered, his tone sounding more patronizing than anything. At this time, the creature sunk it's pincers into Al's skin. It's fang like appendage latched and locked down into his leg, tearing at his flesh as the leg began to lose feeling. The creature actually seemed to be constricting a bit as well, it's head not the only weapon the beast seemed to wield. He did what he could to ignore the pain, a small flinch in his grin was barely noticeable, though a sweat had set in. Pain pain was surprisingly minor and rather easy to work through with the blood-lust-fueled adrenaline inhibiting the sensation of pain, blurring it to a dull numb stabbing. It was nothing he couldn't patch up in the end anyways so worry he did not. The white, colorless face of the Marines made his smile grow, the looks of horror filled him with an ecstasy that words couldn't properly depict or describe. "Flesh must sometimes be given... in order to take. That's why I will kill you, taking a piece of me." he continued, his tone becoming darker, more cynical, more sinister. His voice went from the smooth velvet into a harsh, gravelly bark. In a matter of a mere split second, the subtle drips of draining fluid rushed and the docile tail of the Sanguine Cyborg became more active than ever. "One MILLION STAKES!" he screamed, the tail jabbing like hundreds of thousands of continuous snakes strikes; one after another. Al's eyes widened to take in the scene as his hands worked mindlessly at his waist. The speed and rate at which his spear seemed to gyrate and gore made it appear as though their was not one, but many bladed tips barraging in the deadly blur of silver in the dark canopy. With a dense cluster of Marines, he hoped his sacrifice of flesh did not go in vain as he aimed to tear the Marines apart, filling them with more holes that a head of swiss. His ever so active hands were not left idle, his drill hand disengaged, reforming his fingers. Taking his right, he then reached for the bastard that attached to his leg, gripping down between the centipede's head and abdomen where the hard plating was not. With his left, he drew out a syringe from his supplies, a bit of Nosferatu's Sickness filled in it. With that as well, he drew a great deal of air from the environment into the syringe. He worked to jab the creature in the soft underbelly, hoping the grogginess would help him rip the creature away from his flesh if the air he inserted into the creatures blood stream didn't pop it's heart first. Dashing towards the gunshots would lead the new explorer to a scene that could only be described as gruesome. Before even fully grasping where he was moving, or what he would see, he would see a canvas of pure red before being grabbed and pulled against the trunk of a tree. In front of the young explorer was foliage seemingly bathed in blood. From the canopy to the steaming earth, dry blood was all that could be seen. "Hush! Don't move, if you move further, they will see you!" A grizzled voice would whisper into the ear of Rainen while firm hand gripped around the mouth of the young man. A sweaty yet firm grip would prevent the young man from talking until after the scene played out. "Get down ere, look, watch what was coming for ya' if you kept yer ass running." Pulling the two to their knees Rainen would be able to clearly see half a dozen people. An equal number of male and females were strung up by some metallic looking cord so that their stomachs were facing the earth. Everyone seemed to be related as they all appeared eerily similar in build and resemblance. The humans would struggle as hard as they could to free themselves but it was all for naught. Before long the sound of gunshots would fill the air once more, however it seemed that the shots were a signal or alarm rather than a method to kill. Within moments the air would fill with the noise of trotting feet through the heavy bush, and within moments a pack of carnivorous dinosaurs would begin to frantically devour the suspended humans. The whole event would last n more between five minutes and all throughout the young man's head was held in place to watch the event. After it was over, bullets would fire once more, and the dinosaurs would leave just as quickly as they arrived. Leaving mangled limbs dangling, and disemboweled corpses across the earth. Once freed the mysterious man would reveal himself to be a pirate. The pirate was adorned in traditional black captain garb, however he seemed to be missing his right arm, and had used the sleeve as a head wrap. The man had a grizzled beard and was easily twice the age of Rainen. He had dark lifeless eyes, but he spoke as if he had everything to live for. "You can't get close to any noises out 'ere. Rushin' off into the bush will only lead to yer' death. Even now, the earth is unsteady...what's a lad like you doing on this island of beasts? Excuse the lack of formality mate, my name was Captain J. R. Sullivan." As Alucar would administer the drugs his left arm would become engorged within the mandible of a much much larger foe, just as quickly as he administer the drug he would be hauled into the bush by the much larger and stronger centipede. The larger centipede was nearly twice as strong and had the intent to kill and consume Alucar. Thankfully, the centipede was not as intelligent as the normal human, so hopefully Alucar could come out on top. sorry redd Edited by Fudo Saiken, Sep 16 2015, 05:42 PM.

Rainen watched in utter disbelief as the humans in front of him were mutilated and torn to shreds by monsters that were supposed to have gone extinct millions of years ago. Whether the pirate had held Rainen's head or not, the young pirate would have never been able to tear his eyes away from the gruesome scene. Trembling in fear after it had finished, he listened to the older man introduce himself, questioning what Rainen was doing here on this island. "I'm a pirate. i was born on a small island not far from here. I set sail less than a week ago..." Rainen's entire body was still shaking in fear, long after the fiasco of slaughter had finished. Moving on, Rainen explained about the storm, and how he had ended up marooned here. A couple of times, Rainen's eyes had flickered towards the captains right arm.. Or that is, where his right arm should have been. It didn't take long for Rainen to figure out that the arm had most likely been lost to one of the beasts here on this island. He didn't want to come across as rude to the person who had just saved his life, so he simply stayed quiet about it. Rainen didn't dare make a move. After what had just happened, he would only move with Sullivan. Surely this man had more experience, and couldn't lead them any further south than Rainen had already led himself. "Fuck." Al muttered in a cool, level-headed tone with a ginger chuckle stirred in. He was a bit surprised, but his appearance didn't shout, worry; it was more off-put, rather irritated. Annoyance? Whatever it was, he was fuming with it. Though, Alucar was no moron nor did he easily collapse under pressure or in grave situation. Stressing and falling to pieces under the pressures of the world was such a... human trait. One the Al had never felt, ever and this was one of those moments in the same. With his hand latched around the creature on his leg attempting to jab it, the rustling of the large brush gave Alucar a very minor grip what was happening. Regardless it be another insect, dino, or Marine, it wasn't friendly. Behind narrow eyes his glare shifted to the brush as a massive centipede came ripping through the brush. If Alucar were to make a single mistake, he would be dead, and all of his ambitions are raging dreams, this wasn't going to happen. Not to a God, Gods cannot simply, die. The sound of vicious metal tearing through the air roared to life as the creature reached over his right to attack his syringe hand; thankfully, he already had a plan and was readjusting. The creatures seemed to have a soft under belly, and with his tail preoccupied with the Marines, ripping them to shreds, it wouldn't be what would save him and pulled him from this danger, which is why his right hand turned near instantaneously into the massive-steel drill bit. As the creature was about to bite down, Alucar threw a massive upper cut to the creature, hoping he did enough damage, he instinctively pulled back, removing the drill from the creatures body, unhinged the drill at his wrist and shove the massive-air cannon, into the wounded, most likely gaping wound. With a terrifying blood thirsty scream he spewed his word like fire wild that had no hope of extinguishing. "EXORCISM!" An extensive amount of blood (1 fuel cell) spewed from the cannon like arm along with a massive blast of air, taking the air within it that had been previously compressed, passively having been built up from the subtle in take of air from the jet-stream-like slots in the back of his right elbow. The force was enough to shove his massive nearly 1k pound frame sliding backwards, away from the Marines, 5 meters. This also sent the massive creature that attempted to maul him 5 meters in the opposite direction... directly at the petrified Marines. He was getting cocky now. He chuckled manically, licking his lips as he watched the Marine scatter and squirm Alucar though that if a small one on Al's leg made them cry like children, than a massive one would shock them half to death. |

Koga and the others had tried to disregard the weirdness they had seen. Koga had a good feeling that nothing would come of all that they had seen the previous night. All of those creepy people and whatnot. All was calm now as the sun was rising and morning was approaching shortly. Koga and the others did not need to worry about those dead bodies. “Everyone, just ignore those dead bodies and cannon fire from before. Getting involved in all that bull crap probably would have ended up in some whole tiresome ordeal like getting abducted or some bull shit like that. Let’s just keep moving for now and act accordingly for whatever the hell comes our way.” Koga and the others continued to walk through the forest, as there was nothing to fear for the time being. There was no immediate threats in the area. Zack asked Koga, “Hey, boss. What do you think happened to that pussy boy that was on the ship with us and went off on his own into the forest? Do you think he is dead yet? I bet he is dead or injured somehow. If by some miracle he is not dead or injured, he will surely die or get injured soon. He is a pussy boy, after all.” Koga responded to Zack, “You’re exactly right, Zack. That pussy boy will not last long at all. He is so garbage and shitty that it is not even funny. Although his idiocy is pretty damn funny. That moron has no sense of logic and basically has no intelligence whatsoever. Woofufufufu!!!!” Everyone joined in the laughter. However, Koga and the others kept their voices down, as their guards were still up. Zauriel said, "That pussy boy is going to regret the day he ever disrespected you, sir. You would completely annihilate him. He is lucky that I myself did not break his fucking scrawny neck or snap his fucking head off or rip his fucking spine out of his back. Kreehahahaha!!!!""Woofufufu!!! You're exactly right too, Zauriel. And another thing, if he is not dead yet, and I ever come across him again, I will kill him myself, and he will wish he died before running into me again. Woofufufu!!!!” Everyone joined in the laughter again, and still, Koga and the others kept their voices down, as their guards were still up. | ||||||||||||

After formalities were exchanged Captain J.R Sullivan, stared at the young lad. A brief moment or two would pass before he spoke. "You, a pirate? Lad, you haven't even gotten a look of menace or experience to your face? I had hoped that you were perhaps a dock hand on a ocean liner, but I can guess that was me getting my hopes up a little to high. I won't pry, but being a former Marine captain I must admit that you do not fit the bill of a pirate. Have ya' a bounty? Take yer time answering, we have some moving to do, there are 'beings here' that we best avoid. Couching low, nearly prone, the Sullivan began to move through the bush towards the left side of the scene. As they continued to move the sound and movement of the still warm corpses could be heard. Perhaps some poor soul was still somehow alive? Whatever the case Sullivan would ignore the sounds as he created a small path near him. "Stay low pirate, I'd find it least enjoyable if I was found on the account of your height." The grizzled man would move along the earth with Rainen signaling the man whenever he could to follow. Eventually they would come to an opening to the bus that lead to the shore. Exiting the bush Sullivan would spot a vessel off towards the shore. "I'm guessing that there is your ship young pirate?" The ship he pointed out was the copy cat Beast Blood vessel that just recently begun to make it's way to the shore. The attack from Alucar would prove strong enough to move the centipede, causing that one in particular to shriek terribly as wit wriggled on the earth. Moving wildly in pain, it began to attack the nearest things, the marines who were themselves struggling with a few other insects. A few would gallop from the scene leaving others there to die. There would only be two left valiantly fighting the centipedes, and actually, they weren't doing terribly. Alucar would have the choice to either kill the marines, and peruse the others, or simply move on to something else seeing as his godly time was being wasted. If he were to go looking for Wave, he'd likely be drawn to some noises near the shore, where if he wen't he would discover a pirate ship. So guys.

Alucar was nothing if he wasn't, smart. Here was his opening, so what would he do? After having not one, but TWO massive creatures attack him randomly and some how under his nose since his attention was garnered elsewhere (even though he is a very perspective kind of God). He went into the direction he came, leaving his voyage forward to rest in disarray as the centipede ripped the Marines limb from limb, before he left; he called out to the group of hopeless Marines attempting to fill the creature with bullets. "Remember this day, for you have met God. If you were my children, my mercy may be apparent, though as infidels, you are all mere canon fodder of my favorite book. When he starts eating you, and DIGESTING YOU, turning you back into primordial ooze inside it's body..." he said loudly enough to be heard over the screams and gun fire. "Pray to me for Mercy and remember my name; scream, ALUCAR, God of CREATION!" with a maniacal laugh, and crazily wide eyes he left them to their just deserts, sprinting to once where he came since the patch of Marines had been, dealt with. Making it a few hundred meters, something caught the Gods attention. Something or more so, someone or ONES were making noise near shore. Another ship? "Marines?" he mumbled curiously, a raised brow and a higher-pitched tone giving the indication of his intentions, of his blood-lust as he dashed through the thicket of the jungle towards the sea. Rainen had truly shown his ignorance in that last exchange, He had assumed when his savior had stated himself a captain, that he too was a pirate. Rainen, as they moved along, would loosen his tie and shirt, sweating profusely. The heat was already getting to him, and he'd only been here for about an hour. He walked behind the crouched soldier until he too was told to stay low. It was only now that Rainen realized how deep the hole was that he had dug himself. Watching Sullivan move, Rainen was struck with awe. The marine moved with the silence of air. His steps were careful and silent. If it weren't for his breathing, Rainen might as well have been alone. He listened to his own rough steps, that were no where near the silence of Sullivan's. Whenever they would stop, Sullivan could switch from a combat-ready poise, right back to movement in the blink of an eye. The young pirate would thank his lucky stars as they moved. Had this been an active marine, he would already be dead. He would need to be much more careful. "To answer your earlier question, I don't." Rainen mumbled, still grateful at his luck so far. "I set sail a week ago, from Pitcairn." He was crouched low, his body moving clumsily compared to the fluidity of Sullivan. As they continued to move, they reached a small clearing and they both moved into it. Sullivan pointed out a rather large ship, that had the jolly roger of a skull biting into a heart. "I'll have to answer yes to that one Sullivan" Rainen grimaced. He wanted to get away from this ex-marine as soon as he could.
