Your best nightmare.

Wave lay on the deck of the small boat, if it could even be called that really. The tiny craft had been an easy steal back on Cactus island. It was really just a small hull with a small cabin in the middle. A single mast rose from the roof of the cabin and held a single sail which was enough to propel the small boat forward. The cabin simply held two cots and an iron, wood-burning stove which had a small griddle top that could be used for cooking, the stovepipe extending out the side and up through the roof of the cabin. The door of the cabin faced the back of the ship and there was just enough room on the deck to exit the door and walk around to the front of the tiny vessel. It was here that Wave sat, back propped up against the forward wall of the cabin, arms behind his head, feet kicked up on a coil of rope. His feet almost reached prow when he was played out flat. It was really just somebody's personal boat, and didn't really suit a pirate with a 65 million belly bounty on his head. But, pickings had been slim back on Cactus Island. Wave didn't want to sail all the way to the next island in a boat that reeked of fish guts, and the handful of cargo vessels they had to choose from were all bulky and run down. This little boat, while modest, was in good repair. It had the added bonus of requiring little-to-no effort to sail, which allowed for ample relaxation time, which Wave was enjoying at the moment. The sail wasn't even down, but the boat clipped along at a good pace. This was made possible by the iron anchor tied to the bow of the boat. The anchor now stretched out in front of the boat, being tugged forward by an invisible force. This was Wave's doing. He was easily able to pull the little boat along using his devil fruit powers from his comfortable lounging position.

As he lounged, Wave reached down and picked up the small glass orb housed in a wooden frame. The Log Pose pointed straight forward towards the dark spot on the horizon which had been gradually growing in size for the last 20 minutes or so. This was Little Garden, the second island on this route through the Grand Line. Wave didn't know anything about this island save for what he had heard from sailors, and that was a brief summary about how the island was uninhabited and the fauna was something to be concerned about. Vaguely interesting to Wave, but honestly, what fun was there to be had on an uninhabited island. Even if you did something amazing, who would know about it? Wave sighed. *sigh*, Well, looks like we're almost there. I don't know what we're going to do on this island while we wait for the log pose to reset. Sounded pretty boring when I talked to the sailors from my last voyage about it. But, we don't have much choice. The route is the route. Wave called back to his new traveling companion. He wasn't used to having company yet, and the voyage thus far had mostly passed in silence as the pirate and the newly aspiring criminal lounged about. The relaxation was nice, but there was definitely a certain amount of tension in the air. The two would need some sort of pleasant distraction soon, or they might kill each other simply out of boredom.

Alucar didn't really care for down time himself, he spent most of the free time tinkering on his cybernetics, tweaking and changing it to his own personal perfection. Al couldn't even remember how long they had been at sea, being pulled by Wave's masterful ability. It seemed rather anti-social of him to stay quiet, Al was sure Wave wouldn't mind, he seemed just as quiet as Al, maybe as anti-social. It was surprising enough to say the least. Al had finally found someone that he didn't feel compelled to slash and burn on command. Generally, human's incompetence weighed on him heavily which only garnered anger. It seemed that Wave himself was more preoccupied with lounging rather than anything else, which kept Al's mind at rest, snuffing his little back and forth on how he carried himself. A small singular suspicion was the lone feeling that nagged at the back of his mind no matter what he sw. It all felt a little out of place when it came to his traveling companion, but it wouldn't matter at this point in time, he had much to do and to many needs that Wave fulfilled.

While he seemed to brush off the assault Wave rain downed from before, it really did quite the number on his flesh-based body parts. He cursed up and down most the trip, rambling of the inconvenience he was put in as an inventor at sea. It was hard to find parts readily available, and the rocking of the ocean real caused an unbalance. Luckily the had been floating from Cactus to Little Garden for long enough to allow him to recover fully and complete a full run over of his body and systems. Wave addressed him after many hours of silence, speaking of the trips duration and estimations of arrival. He warned that they may be quite bored on the island with no one to fraternizer with and shoot the shit.

"Yes, that sounds fine. I am sure that there will be plenty to do and see; this is the Grand Line after all.

The time grew thin and stale as the air hung motionless on deck, not a lot could be seen or done from Al's stand point. He was no navigator, he held no knowledge of boats or ships, nor the currents or wind channels. A simple man with an inability to handle the notes and tones. The symphony of the dying is Al's greatest song and without him conducting, he seemed rather out of place. Hell, there wasn't even enough to do to keep his mind occupied. Insanity slowly seeped in like Cabin Fever.

After hours, upon hours of time spent wait it seemed something finally may change. An odd change on the horizon caught his eye as his vision drifted across the horizon.

Wave snorted at Alucar's comment. Seemed optimistic at best that they would actually find something to entertain themselves on an uninhabited island. But he figured he'd let the other man dream big. Hopefully the Line didn't disappoint. Wave slowly rose from his seated position and dusted off his black pants and jacket. The island was quite close now. He could make out individual trees and rocks along the shoreline. It was time to start looking for a place to land. Scanning the coastline, Wave spotted a small inlet that would provide the small boat shelter from any weather that might approach from sea. Port, sweet port. Wave raised his hand and the anchor swung around to point at the inlet, dragging the boat along with it. The waters became clearer as they floated into shore, until they felt the hull of the boat scrape up on the sand.

Wave swung himself over the side and landed in the shallow water. He walked ashore, dragging the boat behind him with his magnetism until it was pulled up far enough that he knew it wouldn't float away. Tide was in, so resting the boat in the sand should ensure that it didn't float away when the tide went out. He would have dropped the anchor, but what was the point with a boat so small? Plus, he could take a look at the hull this way and scrape the barnacles. A smoother hull would allow for faster sailing, and hopefully a slightly shorter trip to the following island once the Log was set. Wave scanned the dense foliage up the beach from their landing point. Well, I guess the first order of business is finding food and water. Then we might think about setting up some sort of shelter. I don't much like the idea of sleeping in the boat for another night. I'm not sure how long it will take for the Log Pose to reset here, but I haven't heard of it taking less than a day anywhere in Grand Line. We'll just have to keep our eyes on it. Wave snorted at the island. And, if you see anything that looks remotely like entertainment, let me know.

Al kept to himself for the remained of the trip; he thought over what his plans for the future would be and just how he would go about accomplishing it. The events of the future were not very easily determined nowadays; granted, on the Grand Line, nothing was ever as it seemed. How would anyone be able to plan anything in this colossal clusterfuck of a sea current? Surely, going to an uninhabited island wasn't at the top of his list to do on his inquisition through the Grand Line, but he was no navigator and he was keenly aware of the troublesome channels sea-goers had to take in order to safely go from place to place. Luckily enough for Al, Wave was a Navigator... or at least he seemed to know enough. Besides, who was he to dictate travel when he barely knew what the navigation equipment was called let alone how to use it. Being smart doesn't imply that one isn't ignorant. Books can only tell a person so much, sometimes it took plain ol' trail n error and experience.

Cursed humanity...

Suddenly, with a lurching halt, the boat finally hit the sands of the soft off-white beaches of the island known as the Garden or Garden Island. Al was beyond thrilled to leave the wooden deck for the first time in what felt like forever, no time at all was wasted as he removed himself from the damned vessel. It surely wasn't ideal for travelling such seas, but it well served it purpose. Alucar immediately began to wander toward the islands lush green, keeping an eye out in search of anything on this island he may wish to procure. Some herbs and essences could only be found on an island to island bases and if he found something worth while, it was easy enough to dry for use on a later occasions.

Alucar stood side by side with Wave as they both seemed to scout the same immediate area; both of them obviously lost in thought before Wave broke the silence, taking a bit of initiative and charge.

"If you wish to take care of the shelter, I guess the least I can do would be to acquire us some food for the time being. Albeit, hunting may be our only form of entertainment on Garden Island I am afraid." he mumbled with a heavy sigh, clearly a bit disheveled by the sheer boredom of the voyage. He left with those few choice words and nothing more as he made his way across the warm sands into the greenery of the islands interior. A split second pause was taken before entering in order to draw out his large metallic tail Alucar kept so well hidden within the confines of his jacket. It raised up above his head and curled over top his body in a protective manner, hanging over his head like a scorpion's tail. Using it like a machete, he walked unencumbered whilst the tail sliced and diced, trudging a trail though the jungle's thicket. It didn't take long for the darkness of the canopy to swallow Al's form completely as his figure vanished out of Wave's sight, the darkness engulfing him at last.

The seconds turned quickly into tens of minutes as he cut his way through the forest in search of, well... anything. It was only now that he realized a good twenty minutes into his hunt that his stumbling rampage was most likely scaring away the wildlife if not completely destroying usable herbs. Taking a moment, he figured he would camp out for a bit in the treetops, just to see what he could spot or scout out. Using his metallic spear-like tail as a grapple, Alucar stabbed into the tree, perching himself above the ground around thirty feet in order to get a good look of the surrounding area. It a bit hard to see through the thick wooded area, but Alucar was observant enough to have little to no problem.

An hour or so passed as he waited, Pterodactyls and Archaeopteryx flying over top which at the very least confirmed that life was here. That was the first bit of good news he had and quite possibly the only. As time went on, he felt that any food would be better than no food and he loathed wasting time. The idea of picking berries in order to have anything at all to eat was better than going hungry in his mind. He postured up, about to give up the wait as he stood up from his vantage point high in the trees. Standing flatted footed on a rather large limb, he sighed in annoyance, honestly not wanting to eat berries. From where he stood, he was tail enough to have his hair brush against the the canopy's leaves. Not wanting to waste any more time he withdraw his spear point from the bark of the tree; though, just as the metal left the wood, a large explosion shook the island as the sounds of steam and high pressure spitting emitted from further inland. The shaking brought Al off balance, causing him to tumble and take a trip to the jungle floor below. Reacting nearly out of instinct, Al's massive metallic tail shivved through a branch, only dropping a few feet. He dangled for a moment like a pinata as he attempt to realize what had taken place.

"What the fuck was that, an Earthquake? he questioned out loud in irritation. The sounds of menacing footsteps drew his attention without another thought. Preparing for the worse, his tail retracted as he swung himself back up onto the branch he fell from prior, deciding this time around to leave it sunken in as an anchor just in case. The earth shattering sounds ripped again cleanly through the peaceful silence that had been ever present since his arrival. A few trees could be seen twisting and shaking like something was stampeding through the jungle's foliage. The sounds of branches, limbs and trees snapping added to the chaotic noise. The canopy shook violently from whatever was force was steam rolling through. Alucar stood his ground as he faced the unknown without fear; a breeze ripped through the thick wood, bringing along a vile smell. Al's nose twitched as the smell of soot and sulfur permeated the air around him like a blanket. Unknown to him, this was the island of the Hourly Volcano. A volcanic source of, if the name didn't imply, hourly eruptions. Alucar didn't know that this island was home of some of the most active volcanoes in all of the Grand Line. Hopefully his ignorance coupled with his arrogance didn't kill him here. Dashing along, befalling trees, the terrifyingly destructive force finally came into view.

" Look at those teeth... I want one." he stammered in surprise as out of the dank misty darkness the source of the force was easily traced out. A massive hulk of muscle, layered like armor tore through the dense foliage to reveal a feathered frame. A bulbous head sat a top small pathetic arms that were stacked upon massive hind legs which it grew in such as way to erect the creature nearly up right with a slight hunch. It mimicked that of a barnyard chicken in posture. but a hurricane in force. Alucar never would have thought he would see a Tyrannosaurus Rex, though here it was, bringing along with it the smell of ash and burning in it's wake.

"I hear exotic dinner bells ringing, oh yes... I do. he laughed as he began to pace out the creatures gigantic steps. Picking out the perfect point of attack, he remained still and silent until the T-Rex was just below him. Falling like a spider from its web, Al tip-toed through the branches, bounding limb by limb before free-fall with his metallic spear pointed downward. His pounce generated a great deal of momentum until he finally slammed into the nap of the creatures neck, spear point first. The tail craved deep gash into the thick musculature of the creature body not only as a means to attack and possible severe it's head from spine, but create an anchor for himself as footing. With a single movement, he flipped his body heels over head in a back-flip over the his spinal extension. With the tail behind him as a hold he swung his right hand like a pick-axe as his glove ripped into shreds, being eaten by the transformation of his hand. The man's drill took no time to fall into shape to allow himself time to take a shot. He promptly drove his right arm into and through the right eye of the gargantuan Dino knowing it would be the most unprotected part of it's body. A vicious roar tore through the jungle as the Beast bucked and thrashed like a rodeo bull, running blindly toward the shore in the process. He did his best to maintain balance on the creature which would have been impossible if he didn't first anchor himself down.

From the beach, Wave could obviously feel the island wide seismic events and hear the pounding growing louder as Al approached. The screams of a beast in pain would be heard shortly before Wave could make sight, though just as Al saw, the canopy began to twist and turn like a giant was pushing the trees out of it's way. Bursting through the dense green belt after a short bit of time, Al and his little buddy rampaged onto the scene. With his right hand normal again and drenched in blood, he cupped both hands over his mouth and screamed to Wave over the roar of the Beast.

"Is this entertainment or food? I just don't know?!" he said with a snarky, sarcastic tone laughing like a maniac. A wicked smile was glued in place across his face showing his sharp-toothy smile. He did seem rather calm for the events taking place, hopefully the creature didn't ruin any shelter that was built during his hunting trip.

Well, chances were high that Waver would be annoyed with his crewmate after that. Honestly, who proclaimed their godhood and then got spooked by a volcano eruption? More to the point, who in their right mind would actually want to set out on their own on this island?! Oh well, at least it would be easy for the Magnet Man to catch up. Possibly. Maybe. Jungles could be... difficult at times.

Meanwhile, Alucar would find his attack on the dinosaur was.... Less than successful. He would be able to get up into the tree just fine, and he would be able to jump down on the dinosaur. What he wasn't able to do was hurt the dinosaur. In fact, he could feel the spear in his hands just outright bounce off the dinosaurs leathery skin, and there would be a pregnant pause as the creature stood still for a moment.

Then, with a head that was literally bigger than the cyborg, it would turn towards the soft pink thing, with an eyebrow seemingly raised. It would seemingly shrug before whipping its head back around, sending the barely above human Alucar flying with the motion. With the annoyance gone, the T-Rex would simply resume its patrol of its territory. It had much more important things to worry about than... Whatever that was.

Wave stood, arms crossed, wind blowing his golden hair and black jacket around as he watched events unfold beneath him. He had been following Alucar since the beach. He had originally planned to search for a cave or something on a raised area of the island for shelter. Somewhere with a view so they could keep an eye on their surroundings and somewhere off the coast so they wouldn't have to worry about being discovered by prying eyes on passing ships. Unfortunately, the mountains on this island all seemed to be volcanic in nature, and the two large landmasses that he had thought were small mountain ranges were actually the massive skulls of some long-dead sea kings. Full of holes, but no caves. Of course, all of this would take hours if not days to figure out, mapping the entire island and what-not. But it was considerably easier to do from the air. This was where Wave now stood, or rather floated. It was while surveying the island, witnessing the volcanoes and all, that he had heard the rumbling of the T-Rex and looked down to see Alucar facing off against his new-found pet.

Wave smirked as the cyborg's attack didn't exactly go as he had planned (at least, he hoped the cyborg hadn't planned it that way). So hunting is the only entertainment to be found on this island... Guess I should try it out. Reaching both arms back over his shoulders, Wave grabbed the hilts of two of the blades sheathed in his folded Aegis shield on his back. He took a second to watch the creature below him as it began to stalk off through the jungle. Suddenly, he unsheathed his swords, swung them forward, and released them, throwing them at the T-Rex below. As they flew through the air, Wave raised his arm, pointing his open palm at the target. Rail Gun. A faint purplish energy seemed to flash over the two blades and they suddenly shot forward through the air, making two cracking noises as they broke the sound barrier. The two blades shot down on the massive creature below.

Could hear a voice as though someone in his head or up above was watching and was raining down shit talking a top his head like a hailstorm. To be frank, it drove him mad to the point where he wasn't all the way together or with it. He broke his concentration as he was thrown from the massive creature, his body twisting in air as he was about to collide squarely with another tree among the hundreds on the island. The only maneuver he could manage was to force the metal spear again into the thick bark of any tree in order to secure his body and stop him from free falling. While it was sloppy, he managed as he could hear Wave chuckling at him as a large thud boomed.

"Don't say, anything."

Alucar didn't notice or rather didn't care that Wave had followed him, but it was a surprise to say the least.

"What happen to making the shelter?" he grumbled.

Now that he was made a fool off and Wave saw; he felt pretty lowly which only converted into rage, though, singing off metal blades tearing through the sound barrier was quite the relaxation. So, he would just attempt to forget what had happened as he hangs there, watching Wave patiently, just wanting some food.

Alucar was normally, a very suave and calm man with a soft, eerily warm smile, but the only look that sat at rest across Al's face was splitting irritation. It was all that could feel and it truly showed. How embarrassing, and furthermore; it was worse than that because what kind of God feels human emotions?

A purple glow rippled off the blades as the approached the Beast in order to hopefully kill it.

As the blades came hurtling towards the T-Rex, there would be a slight twitch as it cocked its head in Waver's direction, and then it would suddenly just be gone. There was no hint of where it had gone, except for the massive trail of smaller trees that had been annihilated. It was almost like something very large and strong had run into them at high speed.

Of course, that would quickly cease to be relevant as the T-Rex surged out of the forest below, literally running up the air between it and the magnetic man. It seemed to be swinging back one of its tiny little arms as well, almost like it was preparing for a punch. Even for a place like the Grand Line, this had to be a strange sight.

"Waver Dazeel!" the creature would growl in a deep, guttural voice as he charged forwards. "For crimes against the World Government and attempted assault of a Marine officer, you're under arrest! I'd suggest giving up now. I'd hate to have to rex your pretty face before your mugshots!"

Meanwhile, on the ground, Alucar would be confronted by ten marines coming out of the undergrowth, guns pointed directly at him. None of them appeared to have any rank worthy of note, but they were all armed with some quite substantial rifles.

"Freeze!" One of them would say in a tone that most people would probably consider at least somewhat threatening.

Wave liked to think of himself as someone who was not easily surprised. It took a pretty good amount of shock to rattle him, and he found most of the world less overwhelming, and more simply... Whelming. But with what he saw just now, his eyebrows were raised quite high and a singular thought ran through his mind... What... the... hell... Honestly, if he had tried to speak allowed in that first heartbeat, he doubted he would have been able to articulate even that simplistic thought. I mean, it was a rather unique situation. A T-rex (already a note-worthy find) had just used rokushiki to dodge his attack and was now running through the air towards him, leaning back as though it were going to try and slug him with one of it's tiny arms... Had the T-rex exited the forest wearing giant clown shoes and a rainbow afro and started dancing, he probably would have been less surprised.

Despite the distraction, though, the gears in Wave's head were turning, and quickly processing the things that his eyes were seeing. Wave was intimately familiar with Rokushiki. He had witnessed it being used numerous times before, had gleaned it's principals, and had mastered them himself. The Marine/T-Rex had used Soru to dodge his previous attack, and while it had been a textbook example of the technique, it was really nothing more than just that. He had been able to see the direction the large blur that was the Marine in dino-form had moved in, and was thus aware of the general vicinity he would be coming from. The Marine's Geppou was pretty straight-forward as well. Nothing unique about it he needed to worry about. What intrigued Wave was the apparent intent of the T-Rex to try to throw a punch at him. He knew that Zoan-users gained immense bonuses to their physical abilities from their fruits, but still, in that T-Rex form the Marine's arms were tiny, and their positioning on the body with virtually no shoulder on which to pivot... It didn't even seem possible for the dinosaur to throw a proper punch. This was an illogical move for his opponent, and it made Wave wary.

Wave shot to the side, flying in a circle around his opponent, giving him a wide berth. That was a lot of teeth to deal with, after all. He also wanted to present his foe with a moving target in case that punch-looking-thing turned out to be a ranged attack. As he moved, Wave glanced down below. He saw the marines exiting the forest around Alucar. I said I wouldn't help him, but I suppose if my plans help him out as a side effect, it would be a win-win. Wave thought to himself. Think I'll borrow these. Wave reached out his arm, palm open, at the marines below. They would suddenly feel their rifles lift upwards and away from them. If the marines held on, they would be in for quite a ride. This technique was strong enough to lift whole ships after all. The rifles would rise into the air behind Wave, all turning to point at the T-Rex. So nice of you to bring party favors! Wave said to the captain. If the party is for me though, I'm afraid you've got my name wrong. People call me Wave Dalzeel now. Just Wave. I'm afraid you have me at a disadvantage there. I don't know your name Marine. Perhaps introductions are in order. Wave tilted his head back, gazing at the Marine with a smug look and a smirk. If you can survive, that is. Wave snapped with the fingers on his outstretched arm, and all ten rifles spoke, firing off their payloads at the midair dinosaur. He presented quite a large target.

Alucar hung near motionless, a slight swing still gently rocking him ever so, watching the torrent of blades soar towards thee immensely large creature. Though, something that he never thought he would see, and since he was a God, there wasn't much he hadn't seen.

"Did that T-Rex just walk on air... well, I guess that is the Grand Line for you. What a fuckfes-"" he chuckled in disbelief, yet rather amused though now the sounds of clicking and soft footsteps, many soft footsteps, filled his ears. His eyes drifted downward toward the men, greeting them with a smile.

"Did you guys come to hang out with me?" he joked as they told him to freeze. Which he returned with a Pffft. His hair hung in his face, acting as an almost mask of black, the pearl of his teeth glowing white in the shallow darkness. The dense brush of the treetop areas seemed to be cushioning around the majority of his metallic, spear-like tail keeping it hidden. He took the opportunity of surprise in hopes that the Marines didn't know already that he was not human, though Alucar couldn't help but taunt them as he point his right hand right index finger at them.

"Fire away, Guys and Gals! he said with a sadistic smile and a menacing tone. Blood-lust filled eyes shown a deeper crimson toned then ever before, the depth of their hues seemed to intensify as he plummeted, though before shots could be fired, the guns drifted into the air. That damn human, I thought he said he wouldn't help?

The need for blood would be dire near the end of this battle; luckily now, thanks to Wave, the men were more or less lambs for the slaughter, fresh from the womb. Al licked his lips as the metallic scorpion-like tail lurched forward, his gloved right hand unhinging he fired a small pellet that would hit the ground near the men and quickly permeate the area before dispersing.

The way he was drifting, the man's landing point couldn't be determined; though, not wanting to count the morons out, he kicked off the tree nearest him just above 10 feet from the ground. Using it as a springboard, he laid a kick out straight aimed right for the Marine's chest who spoke out originally. 800lbs of sociopath came crashing down to the man. Quickly catching his weight before he hit the jungles floor, Al would push off his right cybernetic arm to propel himself backwards into the mook behind him be fire planting his feet firmly on the ground, square in front of the group of 8-10.

"You've tasted Nosferatu's Sickness. So, sleep well, I'll tuck you in tight with One Million... STAKES!" he said softly and unworried or rushed until he said 'stakes' which resonated as more of a scream with sinister laughter chasing the end of it. Within a matter of mere moments, the scorpion tail began to move at breakneck speeds sending a gatling mirage of spear tips tearing towards the group of men. It's goal, turn the enamored bastards into Swiss Cheese. Alucar kept them all in his vision, maintaining his position to keep the blur of attacks aimed appropriately.

On the ground, Alucar was able to take advantage of the Marines sudden disarmament and had moved in for the kill. The seaman were stunned at their weapons being jerked into the sky, and during this moment of distraction, Alucar would throw his poisonous gas pellet into the midst of the marines. He landed directly on the chest of one of the marines, crushing the man beneath his metal bulk.

However, he had made one slight miscalculation with his advance: Nosferatu's Sickness was still there, and he wasn't immune to it. However, the slowdown resulting from his own poison would still be neglible, and so he was able to slaughter the marine grunts with ease. However, judging by some of the sounds from the forest, more were coming.

Wave, on the other hand, did not have any new opponents to deal with. No, he was still up there with the Captain. While he did present a moving target, it definitely wasn't that hard for the Captain to keep track of him thanks to his own perceptive nature. Even more importantly though was the fact that the rifles would still take a slight bit of time to reach the magnetman. While he was busy lifting, The T-Rex would continue to rush towards the pirate, quickly throwing one of its tiny arms into a punch towards Wave. There was no way that it would hit, though. After all, the reach was just too-

"TOTAL PACIFISM...." the T-Rex would roar as its stubby T-Rex arms turned into proportionally-sized Long Arms. Well, now he was within reach. "PUNCH!!!!"

Wave would have to act quickly to dodge the punch, which would probably at least slow down his concentration upon lifting the guns. It wouldn't take a genius to know that being hit by a punch from someone like this Captain would not be a good idea.

Wave was taken by surprise. The marine ignored his witty banter! How could anyone be so blunt as to not make some sort of remark back when an opponent opens up with some dialogue? This was going to be a rather disappointing fight, Wave decided. Of course, he didn't have very long to be disappointed. The T-Rex continued his charge as the rifle shots fired off around it. Wave was pretty sure he saw a few hits connect, but perhaps they were just glancing blows and weren't enough to penetrate the creature's tough hide? Who knew. That wasn't the main point weighing on Wave's mind at this time. The real issue was the punch that the marine had begun to throw a few moments before. As Wave had surmised, it was indeed a technique, and much to his surprise, it was actually a punching technique. Given the proportions of the T-Rex's arms, Wave had naturally assumed that it was some sort of feint or a wind-up for some sort of long-range attack. But no... Well, yes, but no... The range of the attack was definitely not short, but it was still a punch. The Marine was clearly an ancient zoan user. Wave had only heard rumor of these devil fruits, but he was aware of regular loans, and T-Rexs don't usually talk... Or try to arrest people, for that matter. The reach of the marine's transformed arm was unexpected though.

As the fist of the long arm came flying towards Wave, closing the gap between the two of them, the aegis shield on Wave's back began to move. It shifted around, over Wave's shoulder to his front, covering his chest. The punch impacted the titanium shield and was stopped. The force of the punch pushed Wave back though. He went flying over the tree-tops, crashing through branches before he finally caught himself with his ability and landed on his feet on the ground in a clearing. The aegis shield lifted off of Wave's chest and opened itself in the air, revealing it's full 7 foot body. Wave put his left arm through the loops on the inner side of the shield and grabbed the gripped hand-hold, taking the shield's weight. He glared up at the T-Rex in the sky. Well, that was naughty. He reached into his black jacket with his right hand, pulling out a small white object. He placed the object over his right ear, like a single side of an earphone and flipped a green glass eyepiece forward over his right eye. He looked up at the T-Rex and pressed a button on the side of the Almost-Scouter. On the eyepiece, Wave saw "Threat" flash before his eye. He reached out with his magnetic power. The two swords he had sent flying at the T-Rex before un-impaled themselves from the ground a little ways away and flew through the trees towards Wave. One flew back into it's scabbard on the inside of the aegis shield, next to it's three sisters. The other flew directly into Wave's outstretched right hand. Wave smirked at the Marine Captain and waved at him to come to Wave. Let's get serious then.

Blood rained down, soft droplets of iron-smelling liquid little painted Alucar's face, his spear-like tail whipping wildly in order to flick the blood free from it's metallic surface. It gleamed and glittered in pristine condition as though he never cut into anyone. Where he stood, he was surrounded by what could be considered a mass grave, though not many graves rested above ground. With bodies now littered around him, soft smile curled the corners of his lips in blood-lust as he chuckled to himself, noticing Wave had his hands full at this time.

It was no surprise that the Marines proved to be no match for the Alucar without their guns, easily being cut down like the jungle brush he trail-blazed through earlier, easily tearing through their skin, muscle and bones in a elegant yet fatal swoops. Alucar could hear the crunching of leaves and dry, sticks under many trampling feet as he stood in the wake of his massacre. The sounds seemed to be heading in his general direction as the murmurs of voices grew. Taking a generalized estimation, Alucar relaxed as perusal, only seeming busy or hurried due to the pace he worked at.

Taking advantage of the blood-filled corpse nearest him he began to remove the warm blood from the freshly dead bodies. The fluid was still warm and had a shiny gleam to it like a ruby or a precious gem. He so enjoyed working with blood. Going about as he may, Al was be able to quickly replenish his empty fuel cells after emptying them with his devastating attacks from before. He is luck that he did maintenance work on his cybernetics during their short boat ride, otherwise this all may not be going so smooth. Being smart enough to build in a refuel system intertwined into his assault systems, Al took his time with an odd sense of leisurely, lacking all signs of worry. With a swift movement of his arm, Al made a blurring jab with his right arm. Using the cybernetics, he jabbed his finger tips, index, middle and ring, deep into the belly of the nearest dead Marine.

The sounds of vacuums and suction echoed against the dense jungle vegetation before coming to an eerie silence, the only sounds being that of the trashing Wave and Rex were creating. Taking what he assumed to be his last moment before being bombarded once again by Navy soldiers, the Doctor took his right hand's index finger, licking the blood free. In a moment, his index finger began to shift, though not into a drill this time, no, this time it formed a needle which he promptly jabbed it into the meat flesh of his left arm. All the while, his tail moved to swiftly decapitate the man in a single sweep.

"Nosferatu's Blood." he mumbled, giving himself a shot of his own concoction as he leaned against the tree nearest him, very relaxed for the situation, though; when you think you are a God, what care would you have? Al grabbed the man's head he recently decapitated and held it in his hand like a Shakespearean play to seem more terrifying to those who saw him as well as upping my own agility and speed with his injection. He felt as though he could affect his enemies once more before they even knew they were attacked through biological warfare.

Smirking, he raised his right arm once more. Facing the direction the sounds came from, he took aim. Thinking ahead, he knew the toxic smoke that he could create wouldn't dissipate quickly as he imagined since he was previously affected by it himself. Wishing to not feel the dragging affects of his drug, he tore a piece of cloth from on of the bloodied Marines and tied it over his face like a gas mask, hoping it would help just before taking two shots. With a subtle flick of his wrist he fired the two small pellets, the same he used previously, in position that were far enough away that he didn't overlap the smoggy clouds, but rather had one massive area of affect for the grunts to walk through.

"Nosferatu's Sickness." he whispered, firing the pellets into the bush before using his tail to gore through a fallen Marine and working it like a puppet with his tail. He purposely picked the largest man and stabbed through his fat neck, dangling his lifeless corpse in front of Alucar massive frame. He held the man's body just to the left of his own center of mass in order to cover his fleshy arm as well as convert it into a meat shield if not just to be used as a general terror to strike at the hearts of the lowly Marines.

Without fear,he stormed forward into the unknown.

As the hybrid acient zoan's punch connected, Terrance masterfully would use his soru technique once more. As he landed his punch, he'd descend towards the the plant covered earth. As soon as he touched the ground he would move in for a quick strike on the lad. As Wave would be knocked back, the massive zoan would move using the bullet speed technique in order to move behind the young lad. As Wave would look forward there would be no captain, only downed trees adn earth. From behind the paramecia user, the massive jaws of the rex would appear and with a loud roar he would yell "For Justice!". The bit was aimed right for the head of Wave! Unlike his previous attack this one was much more intent on striking fast and hitting the mark. Wave would have to move very quickly to avoid damage now.

As Wave landed and goaded the captain on, the captain would land and use his Soru once more. Wave was busy landing and catching himself while the T-Rex landed and took off into the technique, so he didn't see the movement's beginning, but he caught the blur of motion as it passed him. He knew the dinosaur zoan was going to be somewhere behind him. His suspicion was confirmed as the marine shouted out justice, attacking Wave from behind. Wave smirked as the marine rushed in for the kill. He swung his right arm up, throwing the sword in his hand up into the air above. Reaching down, he grabbed the sword he had stuck into the ground, pulling it free and throwing it up into the air alongside it's fellow. The two swords spun upwards through the air above the two warriors.

As the T-Rex charged forward Wave spun around. He raised his titanium shield, spinning it so that it's 7-foot length would fit into the T-Rex's mouth vertically. As the dinosaur clamped down it's jaws, trying to bite Wave's head off, it's jaws would clamp down on the titanium shield, jamming open. The powerful zoan would continue charging forward. Wave would hold onto his shield, his feet scraping across the ground as he was pushed back by the powerful dinosaur. Wave glared at the marine's gaping jaws. As he struggled to hold back the oncoming teeth, a small smirk crossed his lips. Rail Gun! The two swords spinning through the air, slowly beginning their downward fall would suddenly snap to attention, pointing their blades down at the dinosaur. They suddenly shot forward with enough force and speed to create a *crack* as their tore through the air. The twin blades flew downwards like bullets, straight for the giant body of the marine dinosaur.
