General Appearance:Maria actually has a great figure, wide hips, slim waist, large bust, she also has a fair complexion and light skin, she holds herself proudly though as she is quite proud of her abilities as a marksman, a gentle smile almost always on her face, the only time it fades is when she is sniping, where she adopts a more stoic look to her face. Her body is well toned for her job but it's obvious she has tried to train herself more for speed then strength.
Her long lashes are natural, though she has been known to trim them to get them to stay short at times, her nose slopes elegantly and ends in a gentle point accentuating her face quite well. Small lips and gently pointed chin finish her feminine facial features.

Personality:Despite her actions out of battle and when sniping, Maria is a bit of an Adrenalin junky, just as ready to jump into the fray with guns blazing, as she is sniping, though she would much rather prefer to be in the thick of things. more a left over desire from her previous life style then anything to do with her professional life now.
When she get her Adrenalin fix though, she gets a bit reckless, and she knows she does, which is the main reason she tries her best to not let that desire over take her and attempts to stick to sniping.
She is however annoyed at her body, due to it she has a hard time getting taken seriously as a sniper or a combatant, and sometimes her large chest and hips make it hard for her to find clothing that fits properly for a reasonable price.
She also tends to come off as motherly to people when they are injured or sick, due to taking care of her own daughter when she was feeling the same way

History:Maria Grew up in Lougetown, her family was poor and when she was old enough to learn they taught her to steal, nothing valuable of course, just food and the things needed for survival, And she was often praised for making a good score of food or clothing, it eventually became a game for the girl, and the thrill of nearly getting caught and the Adrenalin boost became very addicting to the girl.
As she grew older she eventually started to steal for the trill of it, never really keeping the things she stole unless she needed it, she would often get caught due to her need for a larger adrenalin high but nothing could stick as she would tend to return the things she stole. A life like this though comes with risks, and eventually her stealing got her family into trouble, the man she stole from demanded repayment not through the Marines, but by taking her parents hostage and making the girl work for him.
For years she did his work, her parents kept alive and captive till she finally got all the money the man wanted, once released though he framed them for stealing from him, and her parents were arrested. With them gone the girl of 13 years had to fend for herself, and one thing she learned quickly was the need for a weapon.
Her lifestyle changed after that, she stopped stealing for sport, her parents having been taken from her due to her thrill seeking, though she would always feel that tug in her head for that high only Adrenalin could give her. as she grew she trained herself with guns of every kind, stealing them and ammo to train with, before returning them cleaned and the spent casings ready for reloading.
She eventually found a means to curb her need for that adrenaline high, she took work as a sniper, using her skills to get jobs with Marines, private reasons for private people, turning in pirates and criminals,. But as she worked she realized she exchanged one type of adrenaline rush for another.
Finally when she turned 15 she decided to try once more to curb her need, she decided to devote herself to her new born daughter Anna, the situation that led her to being a young mother one she never liked to think about. Though in the end it left her with her lovely daughter and she was thankful for that at least.
Raise and providing for the child was hard on her but she pushed through, however this did affect the child as she idolized her mother even learning to snipe with her as she grew older.
Abilities and Possessions Combat:Maria prefers to fight from a distance knowing full well that if she starts to get to excited she will more then likely resort to her less careful tactic while enjoying the high from the adrenaline, she aims to take an opponent down before they get to close to her or her spotter but if things have to get close she is no slouch in close quarters gun play, usually aiming to hobble the target to get away from them, if she keeps her wits.
when she loses herself to her adrenaline high she gets reckless and sloppy, looking for anything to trigger another high while in combat. though this does make her quite a bit more vicious when fighting.

These marksmen are top of the line when it comes to being able to draw their weapon and fire. It almost seems like magic as to how they never seem to run out of bullets. The trick to it is that these characters are always reloading their gun reflexively faster than those around them notice thus they never have to actually deal with taking the time to reload at a critical moment in battle.

Maria can also sell her sword pile for 15,000,000 beli and lose her unlimited supply of tier 1 swords. This gift cannot be scooped onto a new character.

Maria finds the following item, when actually Tanner had accidentally dropped it and Maria decided to keep for herself for its potent usefulness. This is a convenient leather belt, where the left side can hold two pistols. In addition, a strap with a retractable string is attached to it. By connecting the strap to her rifle, Maria can use it easily while it's still attached to the belt, thanks to its retractable string. This makes faster transitions in drawing out and stowing away her rifle. This item is lost upon scooping into a new character.

The rifle will also need to be purchased. You can take the two single-shot pistols as freebies and the rifle at 100,000 beli. So please note these in your gains/losses. Also I'm pretty sure the NPC's firearms will also need to be purchased, so put that in as a 100,000 beli purchase for the NPC's rifle and another 100,000 beli purchase for the NPC's handgun. So a total of 300,000 beli for everything.
Also put a 0 into the 'Used on Fortune' field. Everything else seems to check out just fine, pending the NPC stuff.
- Snipers and gunners are able to shoot medium/long range by default, but the effects of their techniques (the damage boost from Technique Rank, knockbacks, iron-piercers, whatever) should only go up to a range dictated by their Rank.
In the case of Rank 4, this is Short Rank.
- Double Tap can be interpreted by some as a multi-hit type of deal, but under NPC trait, I'm fine with this as 4.

*sigh* fine changed them to short....but I protest this and say Marksman should be allowed to make Techs that have better range (=3=)
because then they can't utilize their techs as they should be able to forcing them to use them at short range (which I remember being told it was around several meters or something like that) making techs rather odd for them since they can shoot farther then they can even use techs
was tlod that Sow confusion was more of a stealth tech and after looking at it I believe it is as well so changed it to support/offensive, and range to self
still don't understand how a sniper build could oinly have a range of short when can freeform shots longer range then the techs can apparently go

Balancing reasons, all of the gun's bullets go medium-long range, but so that it isn't wildly more overpowered than melee abilities, it's limited to having special effects at the same rank as normal.
