Basic Character Information Name: Judas Faye Nickname: "Jude" Epithet: - Age: 26 Gender: Male Race: Human Affiliation: Mercenary (Bounty Hunter) Threat: 0 Achievements:
Killed a Longarm at age 12
Profession:
Assassin~Primary
The Assassin profession gives stealth skills, the ability to move silently through areas without being detected. It also gives general poison knowledge. An Assassin generally has little actual combat experience, since their victims don’t fight back, and as such don’t fare that well in a true fight. Assassins are able to create poisons that debuff, and have access to stealth techniques. Additionally they will be proficient in small weapons such as daggers and blow darts.
Weapon Specialist~Secondary
A much more general fighter-type profession, a Weapon Specialist is someone who has to a large or small degree devoted his/her life to the mastery of a single weapon or weapon type, such as Swords, Axes or Whips. This profession applies generally to melee weapons.
Marksman~Secondary
The profession of Marksman provides sound experience and insight in calculating range, distance and wind elements and their impact on the path of a projectile. It is a general trait that applies to guns, slingshots, cannons, rifles and the like. People without this profession will have little to no luck in firing cannonballs where they are supposed to go under normal battle conditions.
Merchant~Secondary
Merchants are fairly charismatic people who are skilled in both bargaining and selling things to others. Their expertise means that they are very knowledgeable of the economy, and deal with all manner of merchandise.
Position: Swordsman
Physical Appearance Height: 6ʹ4ʺ Weight: 192 lbs. Hair: Black Eyes: Grey Clothing/Accessories: Judas’ most important item of clothing is his Asian bamboo hat. Most often, he wears it on top of his head but it is sometimes in his back, held by a string on his neck. Judas wears a long, open black coat, closed on his waist by a silver sash, in which his pistol is tucked. Under his coat, he wears a shirt, varying in colors, fuchsia, white or dark blue. The sheath for his sword is in his back, held up by his sash. For footwear, he wears simple geta sandals.
General Appearance: Judas is a tall man. He has a muscular build. He has long, black hair that he keeps in a bun most of the time and a roughly shaved beard. His head is rarely visible because of his bamboo hat hiding it. His only significant scar is the stab wound on his left hand.
His facial expression is most often described as sad. It is very obvious, especially in his grey, vivid eyes, but although this is his default face, it doesn’t necessarily reflect his emotions.

The Character Personality: Judas is a broken man. His decisions that he took made him like that. He doesn’t want anyone close to his to die anymore, but at the same time, he doesn’t care if they do. He considers himself evil, but most of the time he tries to act in a kind way. He doesn’t love killing, but at the same time, he doesn’t care if his opponents die. He doesn’t love fighting, but it the only thing that helps him forget. In some cases, he will do anything for beli, but he truly hates the concept and the existence of currency. He doesn’t mind a drink with buddies or partying, but he doesn’t care if it doesn’t happen. When with other people, he only speaks little, unless it is someone he is familiar with. He believes heavily in fate, but still thinks that with actions, things destined to happen can change. He doesn’t hate the Longarms as a whole, but if he encountered one that participated in his tribe’s misery, he would kill him.
Hometown: Kenzan Island, Grand Line This place is the homeland of the Longarm Tribe, having Chinese-like constructions and valleys between mountains that have sword shape and the island itself is surrounded by whirlpools.
History: Judas was born in a small tribe on Kenzan Island. Most of the tribes lived secluded on this Island because of the Longarm Tribe. This was the same for Judas’ tribe. The tribe he lived in was small and barely survived because of the heavy taxation on food from the Longarm tribe and the poor land. The life on Kenzan Island was rough, multiple people died and the only ones with wealth were the Longarm Tribe. Judas envied them but also hated them at the same time for what they did to his tribe.
Judas had no parents. His dad left the island before he was born in hopes to find a better place to live and his mother died of starvation when he was 3 years old. The Dojo master adopted him and took him in his sword fighting classes one year later. He became adept with swords for a young age and decided to train himself in marksmanship after he found an old pistol on the ground.
Those skills became very useful at the age of 12, when some maniacs from the Longarm Tribe decided to raid other tribes for fun. He was on the outskirts of the town when he heard the cries of his fellow villagers. He ran quickly to the Dojo to see a Longarm attempting to steal the only weapons this tribe had. Fortunately, his master came moments later to fend off the attacker. The fight was long and gruesome fight, but, sadly, the Longarm’s reach gave him a big advantage and he defeated and killed Judas’ master. Judas couldn’t let this happen so he ran to the Longarm with his sword to avenge his master’s death. This fight was short. The Longarm overwhelmed him, bringing him to the ground. Before killing him, the Longarm stabbed him in the left hand with a small dagger. What he didn’t know was that Judas had a pistol. Under the pain, the fright and the intensity, he still managed to shoot him in the head. He was only 12. He was only 12 when he killed a man.
The raid wasn’t as bad as expected. Barely anything was stolen because Judas’ tribe had, well, barely anything and the only casualty was his master. What had happened traumatised Judas. After that time, he would need to take long walks around the island every day to keep his mind relaxed. Later, his mind became normal again but he would still take those walks for the sake of it.
When he was about 16 years old, while he was on a walk, he found a hidden valley on the coast of Kenzan Island. Returning home, Judas showed it to everyone in his tribe. They soon after migrated there for obvious reasons. The land was fertile and the Longarms didn’t know the location of this area. After they moved there, life became easier. They didn’t have to struggle not to die from starvation and they no longer had to pay the Longarms.
About one or two years later, they had stabilized and the tribe became prosperous. They started trading food for gold to other tribes that were starving. It is from that time that Judas started working in the trades market. In very little time, he had become wealthy. Money rapidly became very important for him and all his tribe. The underground industry with the other tribes had grown to trading with nearby islands, all that without being spotted by the Longarms. Of course they knew something was happening, but if they couldn’t find the tribe they couldn’t stop them.
At age 22, Judas was taking a walk like every other day. But then, some Longarms saw him and noticed how he was part of the only other wealthy tribe except them. They saw the opportunity and approached him. They proposed to give his an immense amount of beli, more than he had ever seen, in exchange for the location of his tribe. Blinded by the amount of money, he accepted, thinking that since his tribe was very advanced compared to previously, it wouldn’t be a big deal.
This was the worst decision he had ever made. A few days later, some Longarm fanatics invaded his tribe and it was a massacre. The only person who survived was Judas. The others were killed in this incident and the village was burned down. He escaped safely on a small trading boat near the village. A while later, while he was roaming at sea, he threw the money away, feeling so bad for his tribe he had sentenced to death. For the next year, he went on asking himself if he deserved to live. He attempted suicide multiple times but abandoned each time at the last second.
After this period of desperation, he found something that made him forget about his past, fighting. He didn’t want to become a pirate, so he decided to become a mercenary. A mercenary that would fight for whoever paid him, whether it was the World Government or some pirates, as long as he didn’t get a bounty of his own, anything was fine. To this day, he roams the seas in search for a battle to fight.
Abilities and Possessions Combat: When from a distance, Judas uses his gun to wound his enemies before finishing them up close. When up close, he is very reckless but still uses strategy and technique with his katana in order to defeat his enemies. When in desperate situations, he will use his dagger instead as the mobility helps him more. Sometimes he will apply poison to either his katana or his dagger to weaken his enemy before defeating him. Weaponry:
Weapons
Iron Katana
An iron katana Judas carries in his back.
Iron Pistol
A one shot iron pistol that can be loaded with standard bullets Judas carries around his sash.
Betrayal
An iron dagger that once belonged to a Longarm Judas hides in his coat.

Development History Gains/Losses: -100,000 beli, Iron Katana Edit Log:
- His personality is questionable in the sense that it's paradoxical to a very strange degree (likely because the paradox is what's most honed in on in the description). Paradoxical almost to the point of nothingness.
Ultimately, I get the idea - he's an incredibly arbitrary person. Mind supplying another detail or two? Like his demeanor around others, for example. Maybe an utter dislike for Long-arms as well, since that's what his history seems to logically lead to.
- I think it's undue to just cast the 'Longarm Tribe' as oppressive as a whole, maybe change it so a small sect of them, or something.
- Pay 100,000 for the iron katana, the rest is free. Note purchase in Gains and Losses.
Okay, fine, I actually have characters.
Jushin Kenichi ~ WRESTLE GOD (Pirate) ~ Grand Line Dorian Asher ~ Spellsword-For-Hire (Other) ~ Blues Ai Buyao ~ Divorced(x12) Pariah ~ Blues
-We see in canon that they do oppress other tribes, but I still did change it to Longarm fanatics for when they killed everyone because that was a bit over the top.
-Payed
