Profession:

Don't underestimate the shadows. (Primary)
The Assassin profession gives stealth skills, the ability to move silently through areas without being detected. It also gives general poison knowledge. An Assassin generally has little actual combat experience, since their victims don't fight back, and as such don't fare that well in a true fight.

Assassins are able to create poisons that debuff, and have access to stealth techniques. Additionally they will be proficient in small weapons such as daggers or blow darts.

Some of them can bite. (Secondary)
A much more general fighter-type profession, a Weapon Specialist is someone who has to a large or small degree devoted his/her life to the mastery of a single weapon or weapon type, such as Swords, Axes or Whips. This profession applies generally to melee weapons.

The Physical
Height: 6'0

Hair: Straight shoulder-length deep green-colored hair that brightens the appearance of the young woman thanks to the pandemic cliché of the hair color which hints towards a shy behavior.
Eyes: Pure bright purple-colored eyes that most men would definitely fall for. In the dark, they tend to slightly glow thanks to their bright color, like a predator about to catch his prey during the night.

Clothing/Accessories: Kumori is usually wearing clothes that completely covers her body in both towns and fighting areas, which mostly take the form of a tight black hooded zipped leather suit that does not let a single particle of skin be seen from the outside, even her arms and legs. Along with the suit, she always puts up a mask that covers her mouth during battle along with a hood to prevent hostiles from discovering her true identity.

However, in a quite ironic fashion, although she seemingly does not want anyone to see a single trace of skin, she wears absolutely nothing under the suit, not even underwear. The reason why she is even keeping herself nude under her clothes is because she claims that it allows her to be a little bit lighter and move a bit more fluidly with her acrobatics. Thankfully, the suit is not tight enough to reveal that she is indeed nude under it and she can use this as an advantage in battle.

General Appearance: Kumori always had a body that most women would be extremely jealous of. Well-endowed with her almost E-Cup breasts and possessing a frame that mimics the shape of an hourglass almost perfectly, she is the perfect image of how a beautiful woman would want to look like at her age, her unmatched beauty almost being the sole reason of many nosebleeds and date requests. In town, she is always standing straight and often keeps a small smile to her face, which is able to charm not only men, but also women.

Some rumors even spread around her hometown about how she was a descendant of the mighty Pirate Empress Boa Hancock and that she would lead her true love to the island of Amazon Lilly in order to make him her king, but all the rumors were evidently and thankfully proven to be false, which led many men to their ultimate disappointment, even married ones.

During stealth missions and combat, she is usually using her body and her agility at its fullest in order to accomplish the mission, which sometimes asks her to make strange acrobatics in order to sneak around without making sounds. When definitely spotted and faced in front of an opponent, she lightly jumps around, keeping quite a good footwork to confuse the enemy with her left hand behind her back and her right hand right in front of her face, keeping her weapon in front of her. The placement of her left hand is perfect for her to grab one of her throwing knives and use it as a second weapon as well.


The Psychological
Personality: Kumori is, to be simply put, somewhat of a cat that extremely likes to play with her preys. Calm and playful outside of her basic job of killing people and fighting others, she is quite talkative when in a conversation and intellectual, softly smiling almost all the time and seeming to be quite friendly for almost everybody around her. Although she can be a little taken aback sometimes if people are mistaking themselves while talking about general history, she simply laugh and tell them to believe what they believe in.

But the most blatant personality trait that one would be able to notice around her is that, when she is close to her friends, she acts like a big sister or even a mother in some rare cases, even though she is still quite young to be acting that way. Because she is so intellectual, her maturity can get quite high and even sage-like depending on the situation, which could definitely surprise even the top historians of our generation.

In battle, however, her personality tend to go for the more...... arrogant and seductive type against her enemies, always teasing them in a full-blown fight and even ready to use her beauty to destroy their psychology in order to bring them forward. However, this is not the case when she is sneaking around the enemy lines as her arrogance is then replaced with focus and concentration.

The strangest thing, though, is that, although she uses her beauty has a way to attack the enemy, she doesn't want to expose it at all in public and instead wants to cover it as much as possible despite her dislike for underwear, which is....... particularly strange for a woman like her.

Hometown: Shimotsuki Village, East Blue

History:

"That's it!"

It was on a bright summer day at the Grand Dojo of Shimotsuki Village, the village where grand swordsmen are born, that the little green-haired girl, that would be further known as Kumori in the future, heard the booming voice of her mother as she was lost a match, then was directly scolded by her sensei who was unfortunately not Rikuu Salvatore but an equally old man named Renji Yamamoto. At the time, she had no name thanks to her mother that was too ashamed to name her daughter when she was born and had lost almost every match she had done since she had entered the Dojo. To her mother, she was known as "Little Shadow"....... but, to everybody else, she was known as "The Incapable", "The Loser" or, worst, "The Worst Student I've Ever Had", a nickname her sensei always particularly liked for her.

To her sensei, she was definitely how he described her as. Since he had extremely high standards, the sensei harshly tried to make her better with hurtful training and extremely insulting words, trying to "shape her up for the future". However, because of this, Kumori, a girl that had never touched a sword beforehand and that was considered inferior because of her being a girl, was not able to progress at all and always left the Dojo with a saddened face along with dozens of bruises on her body, mostly her face, where she had been slapped multiple times by her teacher because of his heavy impatience towards her. When she would come back home, a house located in a secluded area away from town in the Windy Meadows, she would always tell her mother that it was nothing really bad and that she was able to shrug it off. However, her mother would always here her cry late at night. One day, she had enough and directly confronted Yamamoto in person to avenge her daughter.

On that day, old man Yamamoto disappeared from Shimotsuki Village and was never heard from again. However, he was forgotten quite quickly: Yamamoto was not really that good of a master and was very harsh against his students, which made a lot of grown men quite happy to see him go.

However, Kumori had seen everything. She had seen her mother enter the empty Dojo where the poor little girl was just about to be slapped by her master, watched her quickly grab an iron sword that was displayed on the wall, then unsheathe the blade before she rushed forward and decapitated the man with absolute no mercy. The girl, shocked by what just happened for a split-second before her mother took her out of her shock by calling her to help her carry the body towards the sea. Since the Dojo had a very small forest behind it, they quickly escaped from an open window after cleaning the blood, then thrown Yamamoto's body into the sea as it quickly sunk towards the deepest parts of the sea.

"Mom....."

After they've thrown the body, the unnamed girl shivered, then hugged her mother, sobbing.

"Thank you.......!"

The mother now looked a lot softer than before, but also more confident to herself.

"From now on, I will make you the warrior you've always desired to become without hurting you. I will never hit you. I am your Mother and not this forsaken old man........... it is my duty to pass on my experience to my children."

"What are you talking about.....?"

The little girl could only ask before her mother told her her story as she brought her back home. As they walked together, her mother explained that she was once an assassin in a band of rather famous Pirates at the time known as The Brotherhood, a crew that was known to be one of the deadliest of all the seas, even the Grand Line. She had returned here at Shimotsuki Village once she suddenly had done love to a man and gone pregnant, which deeply ashamed her. As such, it was also the reason why she had not named her daughter and allowed everybody to call her whatever they wanted to call her while they lived a normal life together as a small family without the father. However, after a while, this had started to become a heavy problem and the horrible nicknames started to show up along with the very harsh Yamamoto and her want to kill the old man. In the end, she did killed him, and, as a consequence, she lost her shameful attitude and decided to train her daughter into the arts of assassination.

Since then, the little girl started to train at home with her mother in multiple ways of combat with the softest way as possible. Surprisingly, this time, her daughter was very much able to progress and she slowly started to become an adept and precise fighter over the years that could fight well enough with both her hands, one-handed swords and throwing knives. This took only a single year. However, she was still not good enough to be able to kill a man in complete silence and thus began her true training.

This one lasted almost ten years, ten years where she was molded by the shadows of the night, becoming one with them. It was also during that time lapse that she was given her mother's old weapon, which was some sort of customized arm-blade she was forced to train with for quite some time. In the end, she became even better with the arm-blade than a normal sword and was able to use it quite efficiently.

And then, at the final year of training she had at her 21 years of age, her mother asked her to kill her in any ways possible.

This shocked the young woman, but, after her mother explained everything to her, she simply understood and carried the task with the best she could. After a single day of multiple stealth strategies and some fighting, she was finally able to directly plant her arm-blade into her mother's stomach, having performed a lethal strike that was certainly about to claim her life. As her mother laid there on the ground just outside of their home, she beamed, smiling brightly at her daughter.

"My greatest wish is now finally about to come true......"

"Mother."

"Do not speak....... It is my fault that you've gone through such horrible things when you were younger....... But......"

Her smile then grew even brighter than before, tears falling off her eyes as she could only breath in huffs as she hanged on to the small parts of life that was still within her.

"Now...... I think you have....... deserved...... your own name........."

"My name?"

"Yes, Child....... What is your name.....?"

The young woman thought about what she would want before answering with small tears falling down her cheeks.

"Kumori....... My name is Kumori....."

"Kumori....... That's such a..... nice...... name......."

The mother then closed her eyes and never opened them ever again, leaving the young woman now-called Kumori all alone in front of their home as she slowly took the blade out of her mother's stomach, then stood there, immobile, staring at her mother's dead body. The next day, a tombstone stood in front of the house as she went towards the docks of Shimotsuki Village, now wanting to leave this place with the souvenir of it all only being the grave of her caring mother.

It was that day that she set sail towards the seas with only one single wish: to become the greatest and most feared Assassin that ever existed in the world, and to also form her own Family of Pirates, her own band of Assassins that she will care for just like her Mother did.


The Arsenal
Combat: The most dangerous aspect of an enemy is when that enemy knows that their body is a weapon alone.

Kumori's main style of fighting mostly consist of constant surprise attacks, ambushes and overall being a deadly shadow looming behind the enemy lines with a swift expert hand at work. Silent and going as stealthy as possible without being seen, the girl likes being heavily acrobatic around her foes to kill them with style and knows some basic hand-to-hand techniques to swiftly take a man down without anyone noticing her. Using her strange weapon and her throwing knives, her environment tends to be her own little lair and she tends to use it to its fullest until she is spotted.

When she is fully spotted, however, she goes full in with absolute no mercy whatsoever, using sometimes both her hands for quick strikes and her blade to confuse the enemy and finish them off before they can even scream for help, sometimes using other people with her blade to pull them and slam them straight into a wall or even into another enemy to make them stumble and fall on the floor.

Weaponry:

Assassin's Gauntlet

Kumori's weapon consist of a small iron gauntlet attached to her right wrist that has a steel blade attached to it, the blade measuring around half a meter away from her hand.

Although this "arm-blade" doesn't really have any special looks apart from the blade's material, the main catch behind the weapon is that it actually possesses an iron wire-based mechanism that can silently "shoot" the blade wherever Kumori aims at with the simple pull of a ring placed around her right annular. When shot, the blade has been subject to enough pressure to be able to pierce through certain surfaces, such as walls. The weapon also has the ability to pull it's wielder towards the location of the shot blade and to allow the wielder to control the speed of her launch towards the blade, which can prevent crash landings. It can also be used against enemies to pull them back for a silent kill or to throw them away with enough strength.

The weapon cannot pierce through any surfaces that are made of any tiered materials, but it can be incredibly useful for both stealth and combat if used correctly and asks for quite an agile body. The wires of the weapon can also be cut off, which forces Kumori to buy wire sets to keep the weapon from losing its special ability.

Items: A leather belt that is hosting 12 iron-made throwing knives for long-range distance kills and a set of 2 replacement wires in case the one she uses for her weapon breaks or is cut by another individual during a fight.

While the throwing knives are placed in holsters placed on the sides of the belt, the wires, however, are placed in a small wooden box that is firmly hooked against her belt with iron hooks. Each sets of wires are able to reach a maximum distance of about 15 meters thanks to their pretty small size.

Techniques:

- Spinning Shadow: too long for a rank 4. Range would be considered 'Short' radii, which can somewhat adequately cover your wire length. I'm interpreting this as a multi-hit, radial attack, which can either be rank 8 or 12, depending on how many rotations you're going (rank 8 for 1, rank 12 for a bit more than 1).

- Shadow Hand: again, too long for a rank 4. (Mind you, Medium range is actually quite long. Short range is what is referred to as the beginner stages of genuine ranged combat, which is what we should be going for). The grapple + pull-in aspect makes this roughly rank 12.

- Wire Jail: the movement-restraint effect makes this a rank 8 minimum.

- You can have 12 iron knives for ::beli:: 200,000. Or 10, if you'd prefer.

My bad, forgot to write "(18+9)" instead of "(19+9)".

Say, why are my techs all considered Rank 8 and 12? I thought Rank 8 is where techs start to feel powerful; a knock-back is nothing like it.

Rank 8 is when functionalities that are more or less fully mechanized (less a case of 'maybe this can happen if I rp it well' and more a case of 'this is a special effect'). The standard benchmark for techniques that feel fairly strong is closer to 14.

It's a case where, you can freeform trying to knock someone back or push someone away, but at rank 8 it becomes very much more effective.
