Kelly snorted at Maggy's sudden interest in appearing unsuspicious. "Yeah, I guess you're new here. People carrying body bags are a dime a dozen around here, and people know me. The bag's just to save time on cleaning up later." She got to her feet, helping Tam to do the same. "You get him, Maggy, I'll hold onto Tam for you. Make sure she doesn't rape the first guy we come across on account of the drugs." "You lightened up quickly..." grumbled Tam.

The trio were quickly on their way, Kelly keeping a firm hold of Tam (very firm - in very choice places) and Maggy (presumably for the sake of story coherency, but I can't control her :P) dealing with the not-so dearly departed. The journey back to the ship was a short one, and Kelly helped Tam down into her cabin, leaving Maggy on deck.

She sat Tam down on the bed, taking a step back. "You want me to stay? Make sure you're alright? Maggy can probably handle handing over the body." Tam laughed. "Nonononono, go with her. She'll probably take the body into a back alley and fuck it, forget to hand it over, and eat it." Kelly mock gagged. "Seriously?" Tam shrugged. "Fuck knows." Her hand went to her forehead.

"You alright?" "Yeah, fine. Headache." "Sorry. I guess if you've got drugs making you horny, you'd rather have some alone time, right? Bit of personal fun time, am I right?" Tam lightly slapped her wrist. "Shut the fuck up," she laughed, and Kelly headed for the ladder. "Okay, we'll be back soon. Ya need something, shout really loud. We might hear you on the other side of town."

And then she was gone. Tam briefly lay back on her bed, then changed her mind and got to her feet, ripping the dress from her body and dumping herself back down. Much better. She could still feel the aftereffects of the drug in her mind. Apparently the shit didn't last long, which made sense if Kelly and Ryoko used it to get over confidence issues pre-lovemaking. Regardless, the effects were enough that she found herself needing to do something to satiate them.

Kelly, meanwhile, had returned to deck and approached Maggy with a chipper, "So, let's pick up a poster and sell a body to the authorities."

Maggy’s eyes widened and lit up as she realised what Kelly was saying, her tongue instinctively popping out and licking around her lips as if she’d just eaten a good meal. She began smiling to herself, before giggling in glee, realising what this meant.

“Are you serious? This place is GREAT! To think I could just… Kill who I want, and they don’t care…”

She began to trail off, her mind travelling to darker places than she was even letting on right now. The others seemed to ignore her mindless ramblings though, instead focusing more on the job at hand, and soon enough the assassin appeared back in the reality of things, walking off to grab the body and carry it around. It didn’t take long after that to head back to the ship, to leave Tam to do her own thing, whilst the bagged body kind of just… Laid there on the floor. Pouting slightly, she crouched above the dead guy, slowly peeling back the lining to reveal his not so peaceful face.

Whilst Kelly dealt with Tam in whatever way she saw fit, Maggy was having her own fun, having found some marker pens as well as some of her knives which had been hidden around her room. Once again she went back to crouching above the body, beginning to draw on the poor guy’s face with both pens and knives, pulling his cheeks and lips around to give him different expressions, whilst writing all sorts of stupid things on his face. Unfortunately though, she heard the creaking of a ladder and she had to stop her fun, pulling up the liner and literally throwing all of her “equipment” into her door, before shutting and leaning against it, smiling innocently.

“Sounds like a plan. Just… One thing before we go”

Walking towards the hatch to Tam’s room, the woman couldn’t help but say her quick farewells, and so quietly opening it up she dropped headfirst down, letting her well trained feet catch her before she actually fell, balancing basically on the tips of her feet now. As soon as her eyes adjusted a trickle of crimson formed, running up her face. She managed to not even notice that happening though, instead smiling evilly, and then loudly speaking to her friend.

“We’re off now! Looking good! Save some for me later would you?”

Poking her tongue out and winking, she began pulling herself up out of the hatch, happy that she’d (presumably) managed to startle Tam. She would have liked to have looked for a little longer, but she always got scalded when she remained below decks for too long, mostly because that was where her room was, and something about not peeping… Or something. She hadn’t really listened in the first place. Shutting the hatch behind her, she joyfully skipped towards Kelly, crouching down momentarily to sling the body bag over her shoulder as if he weighed nothing, and performed a slight salute.

“Lead the way captain!”

And with that, the duo set off to go and find a bounty poster, and then to the marines. When those guys opened that bag, they were sure in for a surprise! Oh, she couldn’t wait to see their faces when they read funny little messages like “Marines smell”, and “Pirates suck”, and of course “I have your kids, pay up”.

While Tam frantically tried to calm her heart having been caught in the act by her crewmate, Kelly led the way to the Pirate's Bounty inn.

It was a short journey. The town was quiet, but there was still some activity. It was a port town after all. They got a few looks as they went, but most knew Kelly. She was pretty well known around these parts as something of a party animal, showing up in random pubs to spice things up.

The place they entered now was actually kinda quiet. The Pirate's Bounty only really drew attention during the day, which was part of the reason they'd chosen it for their bounty hunter hideaway. Booze, standing behind the bar, gave them a small nod of acknowledgement. Kelly turned to Maggy. "You chill here for a sec, I'll be right back."

Kelly headed for the toilets, and opened the secret passage in order to descend into the hidden base. The room was quiet and dark. The only light spilled out from Whale's tank, giving the room an eerie, ever-shifting blue glow. The woman herself was actually sitting in one of the chairs, pouring over various papers.

Kelly didn't say hi. She knew that Whale would neither acknowledge nor appreciate it. She went straight for where the posters hung on the wall and pulled down Quentin Brown's. She stood, looking at his picture for a moment, until she heard Whale say something. "Sorry?" Kelly asked, turning around. "I said," Whale replied, flatly but clearly impatiently, "The Nightshade Pirates are on the island. All of them. And they seem to have a mole." Kelly paled. "What? I thought Bug said we had another two days?"

Whale handed a piece of paper back over her shoulder. A picture of a foreign news article. "They found his body washed up on Osula yesterday." Kelly speed-read the article, and pinched the bridge of her nose. "So they found out he was a double?" No reply. Whale didn't like obvious questions.

"What about the mole? What makes you say they have a mole?" Kelly could practically hear Whale's eyes rolling. "They sent Quentin Brown here, to this particular tavern." Realisation dawned on Kelly's face. They'd only bought out this place after they sent Bug out. He couldn't have told them if he wanted to.

"I'm working on uncovering the spy's identity. For the time being, I recommend not trusting Terrance." Whale had an annoying habit of using the group's real names. "Freeze is cool, alright? He left them, and I trust him." Whale didn't respond.

"I'm going to hand over Brown's body." "It's obviously gonna be a trap." Kelly nodded sadly. "Yeah. But hey, I have Blood, I'll be fine. And hey, what else am I gonna do with a dead body?" She moved for the stairs. Hesitated, looking back. "Thanks, Amber."

She headed up to the bar, and briskly moved past Maggy. "C'mon, girl, time's a-wastin'. Next stop, the marine base."

Walking around at night always seemed to give Maggy a bit of a buzz. Something about not being able to be seen very easily, and the whole idea of sneaking up on people, it was a nice feeling. Of course she didn’t mind being seen either, with her ego engulfing most of the island in size, her love for herself knowing nearly no limits. The idea of people looking at her beautiful face, that too gave her a buzz, so in all honesty she constantly had a buzz going on, although that by most people’s standards would be known as psychosis, insanity and a little bit lot of egocentrism.

As the two arrived at the bar, it became evident just how quiet this place was. She supposed it just didn’t get much business, and was probably overshadowed by some bigger bars in the nearby area or something. After all, it wasn’t like there would be a lack of party animals around here, it had to be teeming with them due to their acceptance of killing. Freedom of killing, now that was a nice term.

“Sure thing”

Maggy quickly dumped the body on the floor, hopping onto a nearby bar stool and spinning around on it mindlessly, trying to dizzy herself as quickly as possible. She had a rather impressive talent to resist the impact of spinning, at least for a little while, just like she had an incredible and near to impossible ability to resist becoming drunk at the hands of alcohol. She enjoyed becoming dizzy to be honest, something about messing with her perception of reality and the feeling of almost drunkness… It was good.

She glanced over towards the barkeep, who was bust cleaning up and attempting not to make eye contact. Deciding not to bully him into talking, she instead kept herself busy by kicking the body on the floor, spinning around a little bit and seeing if she could manage to flip the body with a kick alone. It wasn’t going too well, but eventually she managed to perform a powerful enough kick to move it completely away from her reach, much to her disappointment. Sighing, she just kind of just stared at it for a while, wondering if she should drag it closer to her to try again, but then notice Kelly appear again and pretending like she hadn’t been doing anything.

“Sure thing Kel.”

Grabbing the bruised, battered, defaced and dead body, she threw the man over her shoulder and began walking out of the bar with the blue haired woman. Stepping outside she realised just how warm it had been inside compared to out here, but she didn’t really mind to be honest. She liked the cold, it was the perfect type of temperature to store bodies in after all, and she was sort of used to it by now, maybe it was just relating one to the other? As the two walked on, she looked at the bag over her shoulder, and it began to make her wonder.

“Hey, am I allowed to take his fingers? I haven’t got any left after… Y’know”

Maggy got the funny look she deserved from Kelly after her unusual request. "Uh..." her eyes briefly flashed across the woman's knuckles, noting that all her fingers were accounted for. She remembered Tam's concern for Maggy's actions. "It'd be better if we handed him over in one piece," she reasoned, "If he doesn't have fingers they won't be able to verify it's really him using prints." Complete bullshit, they'd probably just go by face, but Kelly just didn't like the idea of eating this motherfucker's fingers. And so, their walk continued.

Tam, meanwhile, was lying on her bed, nude and panting. Further detail is prohibited by site rules, but suffice to say that she was feeling a lot better, less stressed, and she could feel the aphrodisiac wearing off, which was a relief in quite a literal sense. She allowed her breathing to calm, then slowly slid out of bed to get dressed.

There wasn't any warning. Not even a second to process. The trapdoor splintered inwards as though hit by incredible force. Tam barely had time to get to grips with what was happening before she found herself reflexively diving for her desk, where her guns lay. Her fingers closed around the steel flintlock. She spun to aim below the hatch.

There was a moment. Then someone dropped down, and Tam pulled the trigger. Click. Empty. Shit. The sound drew the stranger's attention, whom Tam had no time to profile before they were upon her, pulling her into a bear hug and lifting her clean off her feet. They were big, this person, in Tam's mind a seven foot giant though she had no time to think realistically.

Her hand frantically combed the surface of her desk, finally closing around her screwdriver, which she grabbed and drove between her assailant's ribs. They dropped her and backed off. Tam forced herself to her feet, grabbing the first thing she could from the table, and driving it into the person's head. The face of her unfinished watch smashed, and the contact of the metal against his temple knocked him out. "It was your time..." she panted under her breath.

He was a he, but that was about all she got before someone called from on deck, "You alright Mark?" Tam barely got a thought in before her survival instincts opened the window in her room and flung herself from it, falling the short distance into the ocean below.

It was BLOODY COLD and the fact she was stark naked wasn't helping, but that was the least of her worries right now. She came up for air, took a deep breath, then dove back down, swimming underneath the ship and coming up on the other side, between it and the harbour. There were several people on deck, including one more authoritarian sounding figure yelling to "Find her!"

Tam's mind raced. Who were these fuckers? Why were they fucking with her? No time for that though, she had to get away first. To where? The tavern sprung to mind, the one the bounty hunters met at. But getting there without whoever these guys were following... that was the challenge.

But not the only challenge being undertaken that night. You surely haven't forgotten the obvious trap that Kelly and Maggy are knowingly waltzing into.

Kelly was on guard as soon as they crossed the threshold, but kept her demeanour as peppy as usual. "One dead pirate, coming right up." The guy behind the desk sighed, lowering his book. "Who is it?" She dumped the body on the table. "Quentin Brown." she nodded proudly as the guy started to rip the bag open.

"What the fuck is this?" He asked, and before Kelly could observe Maggy's tampering or answer, she found herself sprayed with the receptionist's brains. She gave a distressed shudder and raised both arms, looking up to see the clean bullet hole in the guy's skull. Many, many footsteps as three people ran in through the front, and one more moved up from behind the receptionist, his gun still smoking.

She quickly identified them. Nightshade's people. Two female crewmen, last names Thomas and Carpenter were manning the door along with the "'Elite Four"'s Jade Reyner, whose sword was drawn. Approaching them from the front, another member of the Elite Four, Brandon Grand.

Grand levelled his gun at Kelly. "Mother says hello," he said smugly as he pulled the trigger.

“Aw. Well, that’s fine I suppose, we should get enough from this guy for me to buy some”

Deciding not to elaborate on how or where she would get such a thing, she continued to walk alongside Kelly. Their footsteps were kind of loud against the paving, yet neither of them said anything after that. Maggy was excited to see how the marines would react to her genius idea, and also wanted this payment. It meant that she’d be able to go out shopping after this whole ordeal and actually have some fun, maybe get Tam to try on some new clothing that wasn’t from her wardrobe.

After an awkwardly long walk, with little to no talking, the duo finally found themselves outside the marine base. Nothing particularly interesting about it, they always worked with such drab colours, which always annoyed her a little bit. They could at least make the place a little inviting, so you wouldn’t feel uncomfortable as you walked in. She for one, always did, but perhaps that was because of her murderous tendencies, which would probably get her told off rather badly by the blue scarfs.

Standing beside Kelly as she dumped the body on the table, the assassin couldn’t help but feel a little bit giddy as she watched the marine with eagle eyes, hoping for some sort of funny reaction. He didn’t seem as bothered as she’d hoped, but he still seem kind of confused by it all. However before he could say any more, his head literally exploded. Had… Had he been that surprised? She giggled to herself, bouncing up and down on her toes and clapping her hands, before noticing the man behind him with a gun. Aw, that ruined things.

“I think dead head over there… And there… And here… Yeah, I think he said it best; what the fuck is this?”

She turned towards Kelly for some sort of answer, but didn’t appear to find much of one. Maggy didn’t exactly feel like getting shot, especially by these people which she was pretty sure were from that Nightshade group. A lame name to be honest, and even lamer clothing, wow these guys sucked. Noticing the gun pointed at the blue haired tattoo artist, a chill ran down the assassin’s spine. If she died, then Tam would most likely kill her too. Grabbing hold of her arm, she yanked the woman aside, ignoring the gunshot and hoping for the best as she rushed over towards one side. There were no exits here, but it gave her a minute to compose herself and then try and retaliate.

"It's an ambush then? Gimme one second then please"

Turning round, she noticed that Kelly was now literally on the floor, most likely from the fact that she herself threw the woman down to the ground when pulling her away from the shot. Perhaps she had still been hit though? In all honesty, she had no clue, but no red blots had appeared so far.

“Oi, you’re not dead are you? Anything I need to know about these guys before I stab them?”

Ignoring the fact that “these guys” could quite literally hear her, she waited in hope of a response. Either way she was going to stab a bitch, but she didn’t feel like going into the fight completely blind.

"Yeah... I'm good..." Kelly groaned, pulling herself up. She wasn't the combative type, she was more of a schemer, so she told Maggy "We're out-fucking-numbered!" before leaping from where she lay in front of the desk and flipping Quint Brown's body up and into Grand's face, who staggered backwards. Kelly leapt over the counter and wrapped her arms and legs around his torso, causing him to overbalance and topple forwards, his head slamming onto the edge of the table with a sickening crunch. Nelly must've been getting soft, sending a sniper in for a close-range kill.

She grabbed his pistol and worked her way out from underneath him, wiping the receptionist's brains from her face with her palm as she ran along the hall to find an escape route, trusting Tam's partner to either kill them or escape.

Tam, meanwhile, was making a great escape of her own. She;d dived under the surface and swum along the edge of the harbour to the next ship, which she moved around to the far side of. She managed to haul herself on top of the rudder, where she sat for a moment to recover her breath before shakily trying to stand, using the side of the ship for support. The wood beneath her felt like it was cutting into the soles of her feet, but she did her best to ignore it and reached upwards, hoping to grab... something.

No luck. She wasn't getting up on deck. She looked to shore. She could easily make that jump, but she'd be out in the open. A few crates and barrels, just unloaded from the ship it would seem, would provide some cover. Cautiously, she leapt and grabbed the edge of the jetty and, with a struggle, pulled herself up, diving behind the cargo.

There was an alley mere metres away. She could make it, easy. She paused, then charged into it, the rough ground painful against her bare feet. She grinned and bared it. It didn't seem like she'd been spotted. A bloody miracle, you'd think a stark naked teenager would attract some attention. Panting, she began moving briskly through the alley to find her way to the tavern.

Well at least Kelly was alive, and by the looks of it she was up for a fight too as she flung herself over the desk, using the body as a distraction to grab hold of the man and tackle him to the ground. Seven for execution she’d say, it was a little bit sloppy, but she got an extra point for approvable tactics like using a body, nice addition. As it turned out, it was Maggy’s turn to do a little bit of fighting though, as the woman with the sword approached her and two other women behind her, which would be a lot of fun.

“Wait, you want to attack me?”

Without giving them a chance to react to her question, the assassin dove straight past the armed woman in front, aiming to take out the two women behind her before she got a chance to do anything. These two hadn’t even drawn their weapons yet, having been acting more like bouncers, so she didn’t have much of a struggle, especially with speed on her side.

The first woman known as Thomas, not that Maggy would have known, went to draw her gun. Why she hadn’t drawn it before she’d never know, not that it mattered now as she was planting her heel into the woman’s gut. There was no time to play with her food when she was outnumbered, but she supposed that didn’t mean she couldn’t enjoy herself. Pushing off with her foot to free her blade and knocking the woman over, she moved on to the next one known as Carpenter, running forwards and literally trampling the first woman in the process, much to her dismay, shown by pained shrieks.

Carpenter had been a little luckier, as she managed to draw a sword just as a sharp heel swung towards her head, blocking the attack by sheer luck and throwing Maggy off course. Almost stumbling over from the attack, the assassin recovered quickly, feigning a kick with her left side whilst actually turning her body to attack with her right. Unable to predict these, the woman swung wildly to one side, as the actual attack flew at her from the other, effortlessly catching her neck and spewing blood everywhere. Something about the neck was so very satisfying, chances were it was the amount of blood.

Now for the main show though, as Reyner approached her. Of course she’d noticed the posters of all these people earlier, but hadn’t memorised their names with little care for that sort of thing, so she didn’t know them by name. There was a certain look of shock on the sword wielders face, having been unable to react quick enough to Maggy moving past her to take out her allies. She seemed confident though, despite it being one on one now. But… That was the thing really, she was fighting one on one with possibly the only woman on the island that would gleefully let a fight play out for as long as she could, just for the satisfaction of murdering someone despite their very best efforts.

In the back of her mind, her very clouded mind, the assassin knew she had to check on her friend though, so she couldn’t play forever; just a little while. Sidestepping a downwards strike of Reyner’s sword, Maggy brought her knee upwards, hopping forwards at the same time to crash the bone into the woman’s stomach. All she got for that was a slight grunt however, and then she was pushed away. Sharp weapons were always so much more effective than basic blunt attacks, although both could be fun. Stepping back a little, making sure to trample over her dead comrades a little bit, she grinned, taunting the woman to attack her.

Tam shivered. The chill of night had enveloped the town, and her lack of clothing proved to be more of an inconvenience than just the road being uncomfortable underfoot. She was chilling - in multiple senses of the word - in an alley opposite the Pirate's Bounty Inn, right hand clamped over her privates and her left across her chest to cover her nipples. Despite the cool of the evening, her cheeks were burning.

She was on the home stretch. Thank god the place wasn't far from the seafront, and alleys connected the two locations nicely. Still, the inn was a public place, and waltzing in naked and potentially flashing her stuff in front of a number of strangers wasn't a particularly appealing prospect. She could look for a back door and try to get Booze to let her in? No, that was a stupid idea, the place was completely attached to the two buildings either side, so she'd have to circle all the way around, which would definitely involve using main roads.

Fuck it, she decided, they'll all have seen skin before. She quickly darted across the street in a kind of demented waddle as she tried to keep her hands in place and her feet off the ground as long as possible, charging at the door and kicking it in once she was in range. It was heavier than expected, stopping her in her tracks and slowly opening as her weight was applied to it, eventually allowing her to stumble onto the premises.

All eyes were on her. Three tables occupied by two patrons each, two more guys at the bar. Booze working the bar itself, his hands frozen in the motion of cleaning a glass. Tam felt the heat rise, but tried to act casual, as though eighteen-year-olds sprinting into bars naked was completely normal, darting towards the toilets and, as she closed the door behind her, poked her head around it and told the occupants of the bar to "Carry on."

Feeling more self-conscious than she had in her life, she made for the clock and opened the hidden door, wasting no time in descending the stairs behind it. Whale, who was on the sofa looking over some papers, turned her head as Tam entered, her eyes looking her nude form up and down, but didn't say anything. Indeed, she didn't even give signs of any thoughts on the naked person in her midst.

They just stood for a moment, looking at each other. Whale turned to look back at her notes, then Tam spoke. "U-uh..." she stuttered, "Can I borrow some clothes?"

Taunting Reyner did in fact seem to be the best option, as she glared at her comrade being trampled over. Whether she was upset to see their body being ruined, or just the idea of it in general didn’t matter, for she was now charging forwards. Ducking below a swipe at her head, Maggy hopped back off of the corpse and grabbed one of the girls by the back of her jacket, hauling her up and lunging forwards, literally throwing the body at the swordswoman, throwing her off balance. Quickly she moved in, grabbing hold of her arm and spinning around, snapping it at the elbow with a little added force and causing her to drop her weapon.

“And now you die”

The psycho cackled, leaning down to scoop up the weapon whilst spinning, causing her heel to nick the woman’s thigh and further pushing her off balance. It appeared Reyner wasn’t going to go down without a fight though, and went for a swing at the assassin, who just about managed to catch it as she swung with her new weapon. She’d never been very good with this sort of thing, but she managed to slice her target’s inner bicep, causing her to scream in pain once again. With every noise she made, Maggy was just getting more and more excited.

And just like that, avoiding a half arsed punch, Maggy brought the sword down on the woman’s skull with a crack, knocking her straight to the ground. It hadn’t gone through her skull, but it had certainly done some damage and knocked her unconscious. Perhaps an interrogation target? Or…

Dropping to her knees, the assassin quickly grabbed hold of the woman’s hand, staring almost hungrily at them as she readied the bladed weapon. Not quite as nice as she’d hoped, but she’d keep them as a nice little prize for her victory over such a dangerous target. Licking her lips and giggling to herself, she brought down the weapon as hard as she could.

By the time Kelly had returned, Maggy was more than done with her work, sitting in the bloodied seat with her feet up. The two weaker women, Thomas and Carpenter, were strung from their legs, upside down with rope around them, blood trickling down their faces. Reyner on the other hand was simply bound in rope, albeit with a few missing parts to her, and the words “Kel Sux” carved into cheek, which she still couldn’t stop laughing about. Hopefully her blue haired friend would see the funny side, and wouldn’t take offense. Likelihood was, marines would be showing up as backup soon.

“You’re here, good. We needing her for interrogation or can I..?”

Running her finger across her own neck, waving around the sword she’d stolen carelessly, she questioned Kelly whether she was allowed to finish the job. It wasn’t as much fun when they were unconscious, so it was totally an option to keep her locked away in an undisclosed place until “further notice”. Thankfully, things like this didn’t slip her mind, so she could totally pull that off and not forget. Once they'd got that sorted she'd go on the look for Tam.

When Kelly returned, she did so with Tam close on her heels, now dressed in a shirt that was far too baggy, provided by Whale. They had each explained to each other the attacks they had each survived, and quickly made their way back to the Marine base to regroup with Maggy - who Tam doubted would die so easily. And sure enough, she was alive, well, and desecrating corpses when the two girls walked in on her.

Maggy noticed them and left her butcher's work to demand killing permission. Maybe a degree of pity led Kelly to denying her. "Even if she doesn't talk a hostage could be useful." Tam was slightly taken aback that Maggy had even shown enough restraint to simply render the woman unconscious - even if she had presumably later removed most of her digits.

They got out of there fast, leaving behind the wanted posters of the pirates they left behind with an address to send the bounty money to. They dragged the bound woman, who was starting to regain consciousness due to the obvious pain in her hands, through the inn's back door and down into the bounty hunter headquarters. It didn't take them too long to use some extra rope to suspend their prisoner slightly off the ground, she she had to stay on her tip toes. She was awake now, and apparently both in pain and absolutely livid.

Kelly spoke over her yells of abuse. "Whale, can you go find Ruby? It won't be good if she bleeds out." Whale nodded, and got up, making no hurry as she left to find the irritating man who was presumably a medic. Kelly moved in close to the prisoner's face. "Hi, Jade. How've you been?" in response, she got spat on the face. She wiped it off nonchalantly. "Where's Nelly staying?" Another glob of spit found her face.

The prisoner, Jade Reyner looked around the room, and Maggy and Tam's faces, and grinned. She looked back to Kelly. "Still call your mother by her first name then?" Kelly stiffened. Reyner's smile widened. "You haven't told them, have you? That you're hunting your mum's crew right now."

“Fine fine, I’ll live with what I got”

Maggy walked around carelessly for a little bit longer, before flinging the sword off to one side, ignoring the loud clattering noise that it made as it slid across the floor. Instead she had something else on her mind as she looked back at the blue haired girl, her eyes quickly darting to Tam who stood next to her. She grinned slightly and walked over a little bit.

“Hey there, I thought you were on the ship… Y’know”

She rose two fingers and waved them through the air a little bit, giggling to herself. Well… They weren’t her own fingers she was waving about, but it worked nonetheless. A moment later, she dropped them into a “doggybag” she’d found behind the counter and pocketed that, and began to properly inspect her partner. She seemed to have changed clothes for some reason, which made her even more curious about her endeavours, and led her to try and saddle up real close to her as they headed back to the base of operations.

Once back, things seemed a little bit different. For once, Whale was actually out of the tank that she’d been in before and soon moved out of the room entirely due to the request of finding someone called Ruby. Meanwhile, Kelly was working on the interrogation of Reyner, getting in close and asking her casually about things. However it turned out that the woman had other ideas, as she declared the blue haired girl was the daughter of the pirate lady. Or… Something like that.

“Ooh, the truth is out… I think… Anyway, my turn me thinks”

Completely ignoring the important fact of the fact they were hunting their friends mother, she pulled up a chair in front of the lady, spinning it around and sitting on it in reverse, resting her chin on the back of the chair. Digging around in her pocket, she quickly pulled out her clear plastic bag, waving it in front of the woman for a moment, attempting to get information out of her quickly and without struggle, albeit that’s just what she was hoping for.

“Speak, or this’ll be tame compared to what you’ll be going through”

As it turned out, there wasn’t exactly much for the woman to speak about, with the assassin not actually having asked any questions, and Kelly’s being more past tense now. It hadn’t quite occurred to her that she should be asking something, and after a few moments she drew a knife from a pocket by her thigh, raising it swiftly above her head and attempting to bring it down on the woman’s thigh. Luckily for her, it appeared that blue hair had been ready, and swiftly intervened, stopping the knife just before it made contact by grabbing her arm. Despite having been bothered by something or other, Maggy was a little surprised by her intervention, but managed to hold herself back and raised her arm enough to prevent any injuries. She supposed she could wait for a moment before continuing.

In a strop, Maggy threw her arms up and stormed out the room. Why couldn’t she have her fun? She took a brief glance at Tam, and smiled towards her, and then shut the door. Sighing deeply, she leant against the door for a moment, rubbing her hands together and thinking it all through. Suddenly something in her mind had clicked, and she’d realised that taking on these pirates wasn’t quite what she wanted to do. A big group of normal people working together to kill some bad guys? As if, she would rather just go do it herself. But first… She needed some rest.

Storming off out of the building, she made her way towards the docks, finding her way to the ship and bursting into her own room. She quickly slipped out of her shoes and flung off her covers to her bed, snuggling in and tucking herself in a moment later. Looking up at her ceiling she wondered if this was even safe, with all the pirates apparently lurking around or something. Sighing, she decided it didn’t matter, shutting her eyes and waiting for another day. For now, she was done. No group, no Tam, just her and her sleep. Who knows, perhaps tomorrow she’d go do something else instead? But for now… Rest.
