Whoops, well it wasn’t the first time she’d scared off someone that was on her side, and most likely wasn’t the last. Of course it was simply because that girl was scared that she’d be beaten down into the ground, as was the nature of the life of a beauty queen such as Maggy herself. She wasn’t one to brag (yes she was) but when compared to that weapon wielding girl, she felt confident she would be perceived to be a lot more attractive. Actually, she was cocky confident enough to put a bet on it. 10 Million Beli on the hot girl, the woman continued to make more bets with her internal bookie which was almost certainly rigged in her favour before replying to Kelly:

“Well I am skilled when it comes to scaring off the competition”

She shot a cheeky glance towards Tam whilst she wasn’t looking, before going back to her thoughts, just imagining the conversation between her and the man handling the money, the look on her face as she stabbed him repeatedly and then stole all the money there was around. Ah, nothing like a good comedy to spice up your daydreams.

“You totally forgot”

Back in the real world, with both index fingers pointed playfully towards the tattoo chick, she stuck her tongue out and accused the woman. Of course she had also forgotten, too busy in her own sadistic realm of blood and gore, but that wasn’t something she was about to blurt out or comment on. If anyone asked, she had been thinking about it the whole time, creating more schemes, like backup plans. Nobody could prove otherwise right?

“I won’t forget!”

She so would. The rather cheery psychopath was of course trying to remember what exactly they were talking about, seeing as she’d almost completely forgotten about the whole incident with some creepy man going on. Luckily for her and everyone else, her mind seemed to be moving in the right direction, as it wasn’t long before her memories came flooding back, like a tidal wave of blood. As the two good friends continued their conversation Maggy couldn’t help but mutter her views on clothing, seeing as she was the expert there:

“Well I think she looks good in that outfit. Nice and revealing, not quite enough yet though but all in good time”

She smiled almost menacingly at the thought of cutting a few threads when the demon wasn’t looking, only to mock surprise as all but her underwear fell to the floor, although perhaps that could be arranged too. If either of the two decided to look towards her, they’d most likely see the psycho daydreaming to herself, and probably be a little spooked by her expression.

The word panties brought Maggy back into the conversation once again, with then the implication of her being able to have some fun with this guy. It was probably best she didn’t voice her views on the matter entirely, however she did in fact have a rather good plan for sorting out their demonic pal something to wear.

“I can hit him as hard as you like, or he likes, depending on what you’re thinking”

It wasn’t the latter.

“Anyway, I hear you need an attire for our rather elegant lady friend here.”

She coughed loudly, correcting herself:

My lady friend.”

She paused, winked towards Tam, and then danced off playfully towards her room, kicking the door as she neared it, causing it to fly open precariously. Most likely any harder and it would have swung back and hit the careless assassin in the face, however it appeared she had mastered the art of door opening to the tee. Ignoring the fact that she should probably get a sticker for her infant school abilities, she leant against the aforementioned door and made a sleek gesture with her arms, motioning her friends to enter.

Before she had even let them react to her, she lightly hopped out of her shoes and walked along her smooth carpet towards her wardrobe, emphasising her movements as if she was on a catwalk. Still listening to what the others had to say, if anything, she began to consider what having a person of the preferred gender meant. To most it might mean very little, especially as Maggy’s preferred gender was anything that could move, and some things which couldn’t, some of which might have previously though.

“Don’t get any rude ideas Kelly, I’m inviting you in here only because we need to strip down Tam…”

She allowed for a rather lengthy pause before continuing:

“…to dress her up in some chic clothing!”

Whether the pause had been intentional or not we shall never know, however with the rather cheeky look on her face, it’s safe to assume that she was in one of those moods. This quickly changed though as she opened her portal to Narnia, swinging both doors of her wardrobe open and letting them hit the wall.

“Ta-dah!”

It was feeling more and more like a date as time went on, just with more modelling. She turned to her date and smiled gleefully, imagining that they were actually on a shopping trip, skipping around town together hand in hand, occasionally shooting whoever got in their way and generally having a good time. They’d just stopped in at a rather popular brand shop and were browsing through all the clothing, specifically dresses for their date that night. In actuality Maggy was pushing clothes and hangars aside, occasionally throwing clothing out in the general direction of either Kelly or her bed. The former was for Tam, the latter was for her, duh.

“What colour suits her best? I’m thinking either a light purple or see through”

After a short consideration, she threw the purple towards the tattoo artist and the clear plastic like one towards her bed. Better safe than sorry right? It didn’t really cross her mind how she’d come across a see through dress, and she had no memory of anything of the sorts, so she ignored the opportunity to understand herself and kept on digging.

Once she’d exhausted a small amount of her dresses she began throwing out various socks, assorted underwear, shoes, hats and a few damaged blunt weapons which barely missed the two behind her.

“Take what you need. I think there’s snacks in the fridge too if you’re hungry”

Her mind subconsciously went back to when she’d been shoving some guys arm into her fridge, and quickly reconsidered:

“Actually, forget that last bit”

More for her! She imagined the fridge being a little bit like the staff room of the shop she’d been schizophrenically visualising around them, and being their prize shoppers of course it was OK for them to eat their stuff, it just happened that for some unknown reason she felt like it was best if she was the one to eat what was in there.

Pushing her concern for what Maggy was hiding in her fridge aside, Tam focused her concern on the amount of interest Kelly was showing in Maggy's transparent outfit. "I'm definitely feeling you on the transparent one. Where'd you get this? I need one for Ryoko." Tam rolled her eyes. "Christ, you two, keep it in your pants. I have my own clothes." "Like I said, Tam," Kelly retorted, a kind of fire in her eyes that only a pervert can have, "No T-Shirts. We're gonna make you look fabulous. C'mon, what's your color?"

Maggy was still rummaging through the cupboard. "Christ, Maggy, how much shit do you keep in there?" Maggy flung out another dress, which hit her in the face. She peeled it away from her eyes and took a look. It was tangerine orange, with a large hole for showing off cleavage. She was about to discard it when Kelly seized it. "Oh my God, this is perfect! It goes with your eyes perfectly! C'mon, try it on!"

Her hands grasped at the straps over Tam's shoulders, and Tam recoiled before her top could fall off. "Oi! Hands to yourself, you randy tosspot!" The dress hit her in the face again, thrown by Kelly. "Come on, just try it! I know it'll look amazing!" Tam sighed, and pulled the dress from her face, and gave it another look. She had always been partial to orange. "Alright, fine, I'll try it. But I reserve the right to kick your arse the second you try to sexually assault me. And I'm also changing in my room, alone." Kelly tutted disappointedly. "Ehhh..." "You have a girlfriend, Kel, control yourself."

Tam left the room and headed to her own, and just about heard Kelly ask Maggy, "So what base are you two on?" She pretended not to.

Sliding the bolt into place, locking her room, she pulled off her outfit and set about putting on the dress, which was suspiciously in her size. Tam feared whatever ulterior motive Maggy may have had in buying this, and wondered how much of that wardrobe's contents was there to fuel Maggy's perverse fantasies about her. Okay, Tam, she thought, now you're just being paranoid.

A few moments later, she was just about wearing the dress. Its hem was around her mid-thighs, and the hole in the centre of the chest left her boobs exposed to a degree she wasn't particularly comfortable with. Who designs stuff like this? She took another moment to feel incredibly freaked out by how well it fit her. It was pretty much form fitting. She imagined Maggy hovering over her with a tape measure as she slept and shuddered. Well, might as well see it through now it's on.

She moved up onto deck and placed her hand on the doorhandle to Maggy's room, hesitating before tentatively opening it. She walked in and gave an unenthusiastic twirl to the two girls before asking, "Well? Is this good enough for your highnesses to get off to?"

She didn’t say it, but Maggy did keep a lot in the wardrobe. In her eyes though, there still wasn’t enough, and probably would continue to think that until it was dense enough with clothing to be thicker than the psycho herself. Actually scratch that, she’d continue to even after that point, not that she’d be fitting anything more in there. With a little bit of luck and a lot of shoving she could make the impossible the possible, that was her motto. Actually her motto was something a little more violent which can’t be written on this Christian Roleplay site, so for now we’ll stick with the impossible one.

As she continued to search for more and more clothing, she almost missed the happy shouts of Kelly behind her. Pausing her bombardment of clothing briefly, she looked over her shoulder, noticing a rather appealing dress being held out in front of the demon. A sly smile played on her lips for a moment, before she swung backwards off the handles of her wardrobe and shut them abruptly, dancing over towards the two and giving them a big thumbs up. It was crazy approved.

“Come show us once you’re done so I can enjoy the view”

She watched as Tam walked out the room, eyeing her up as usual as she walked off. Once she’d gone Kelly perked up, questioning about bases. Maggy’s eyebrow raised slightly as she thought about the question carefully, wondering how to answer this. She supposed her and her partner would give different answers, although maybe that was because they’d gone up by one whilst the demon had slept that one time, which totally hadn’t been intentional. To be fair, in her head right now there was only one viable answer.

“Out of the park!”

The black haired woman acted out swinging a bat, and then put her hand above her brow as if to indicate watching the ball fly out of the imaginary stadium. Her vision of her room being a shopping centre had long since faded, not that she’d really noticed a difference. Her mind shifted things about so often she didn’t notice it anymore, not that she had before it had started happening.

"Get in there, girl! I can just imagine you two going at it like an arts and crafts room, if you know what I'm saying"

Maggy was only half paying attention, already doing her own thing, and thus unaware of Kelly "pretending to cut paper" behind her. Of course her own thing entailed being the biggest perv she could manage, and so she quickly dashed back over to her wardrobe, making a hand motion for her ally in dastardliness to come join her. There was in fact, a vent in her wall, which to the unsuspecting person would simply be just that, however if anybody actually tried to check it out, by lifting the vent off it was in fact a spy hole.

“I know you can’t resist”

"Damn straight!"

As Kelly pointed both index fingers towards her, Maggy continued to giggle to herself as she simply dropped through the vent, allowing her feet to catch the outside of it last second. Her legs were bent, but as she extended them it clearly allowed vision into the room below hers, the room of the demon. It somehow reminded her of back on Gray Island where they’d first met, when she’d been searching for some sort of clue as to what kind of demon she was etcetera, but had found more than she’d expected. Maybe that’s when her interest truly began.

Making sure not to be spotted, she simply hung there, her body literally upside-down as she watched with intent for a while. Surprisingly she made no noise, as if she had trained her whole life simply to perfect this art. Similarly, the only reason she noticed Kelly hanging alongside her was because she was brushing up against her own body. Normally two people wouldn’t have been able to fit in there, but because of a mixture of Maggy’s thin body, and both of theirs strong determination, almost anything was made possible.

After a while, Tam finished changing and began heading for the top deck, which caused both perverts to hurriedly pull themselves back up in an awkward fashion. Once both up Maggy quickly replaced the air vent and managed to roll herself away from it and make herself face the door just before it opened.

When Tam entered she did a little twirl which really didn’t help the situation they were in. When she focused on the situation it was possible that she might notice the blood which had managed to defy gravity by trickling from their noses up their faces rather than downwards, and the guilty look on each of their faces, both the girl sat cross-legged on the floor, and the one stood up doing whatever she did best.

“You look shtunning”

The blood in her nose wasn’t helping her speech much, but she was trying to act natural. With any luck Tam wouldn’t notice a thing, after all it wasn’t completely obvious. As she sat there eyeing the girl up once again, she suddenly realised something which was missing. She got to her feet hurriedly and skipped over to her side table, opening it up and trawling through it, pushing aside anything she didn’t want. Random guy’s finger, nope. Some other guy’s skull, nope. A pretzel? Not what she was looking for, but she ate it anyway. Eventually though she came across what she was looking for, and took it out in a rush, hiding it within her hands.

“I’ve got the finishing touch right here!”

The crazy woman bounded over towards Tam, hiding the object in her hand. Once she got behind her, she opened her hand and took hold of each side of the object carefully, before putting it around the girl’s neck. It was in fact, a thin, blood red fringe necklace, reaching down to where the gap in her clothing in the chest area ended. She poked her head over the girls shoulders, getting probably a little too close for comfort whilst she checked it out.

“Ahah, looks perfect. And it gives him and me a reason to look at your cleavage”

"And what a cleavage it is. Seriously, you should consider being a model. Seriously, I know some good topless mags that'd really want ya."

Maggy giggled evilly to herself before attempting to emphasise her point by running her hands up the younger girl’s body, starting at the waist before stopping, for a good amount of time, at the aforementioned cleavage. She rested her head against Tam’s neck for a moment, before whispering in her ear.

“But don’t worry, I’ll make sure he doesn’t lay a finger on you. After all… That’s my job

Before she could shoot her or something, Maggy bounded backwards, giving a slight wink towards Kelly. She needed to show off quite how many bases they’d covered after all, so making things look casual was a good start. Obviously she had enjoyed that for more reasons than simply showing off her plaything so to speak.

Tam despaired at the positive response to the look. From the full length mirror on the wall - why was she not surprised Maggy had one of those - she couldn't deny that she did look pretty good, not that she was into girls. Or selfcest. She stopped before her thoughts got out of hand and chose to instead give Maggy a "What the fuck kind of surface did your parents drop you on as a kid" look in response to her little yandere speech.

Lacking any kind of direct response to the promise of protection from molestation made by the woman who'd just molested her, she instead addressed Kelly. "Kelly, help. I'm worried for my purity." Kelly winked. "Looking at the wrong person, Tam. I'd probably join in." Tam glared back. Her eyes were starting to hurt from all the glaring. Damn, she thought, I've actually really missed this. She softened her gaze and returned to the main concern.

"So what's the actual plan? I go in dressed like a citrus flavour hooker and hope he doesn't try to get it on before Maggy puts a knife in his back?" Kelly opened her mouth to protest, but stopped and thought. "Eh. Close enough. I can give you a chastity belt if you're that worried?" "Why do you have...?" Never mind. She didn't want to know. "No, thank you. I think that'd be too obvious, since my privates are pretty much hanging out already in this thing." She thumbed the hem of the dress. It really was way too high.

"Eh, true. So, what's the time now?" "Time you got a watch?" Kelly snapped her fingers. "Better get on that, Miss Inventor." Wow. Savage, given the non-working watch that was in progress on Tam's work bench as it had been for months. She blushed, while Kelly set about discerning the time. "So, we met at midday, and since then we had the meeting, the fire, the hospital and now this. So... I'd say it's no later than three. And you meet the guy at...?" "Eight." "Fuck."

Kelly thought, but only for a moment. "Alright, here's the plan. He knows you, so you shouldn't go near his place until it's time. So we know what we're doing, I will go with Maggy," She went to put her arm around Maggy's shoulders, "And scout the place out, figure out entry points et cetera so we don't fuck up when we have to actually break in." She looked at Maggy, her face what would be considered by any normal person to be uncomfortably close. "Sound like a plan?"

Stone paving, volcanic rocks and also a cactus plant.

“Are you sure it’s your purity you should be worried about? What about this fine maiden right here in front of you, scared for your life as you’re going out into the big wide world to meet with this unknown man. Of course, you needn’t worry, I’m completely ready to step in to his chest cavity at any moment.”

Maggy couldn’t help but pull a false fainting pose, laying the back of her hand against her head and leaning backwards slightly, pulling a half contorted and half gleeful expression. In all honesty, she was enjoying this. Just a bunch of girls mucking around and getting one of them ready for her date. Of course in the books the date would usually go well, and the man wouldn’t get violently murdered, but a woman could dream couldn’t she? Perhaps it would be a good idea to write about their own adventures in a book, she’d make fortunes.

“I’d shay wore… Shweat flavoured, but waybe my budsh are playing tricksh on me”

She spoke with her finger in her mouth, making it sort of difficult to understand what she was saying in the first place. After making little in the way of sense and missing half of what the two girls had been saying, she picked up around the moment they began talking when she needed to be there. This was getting back onto the topic which she understood well, and she wasn’t about to let them go talking about it all on their own. She took a deep breath and began.

“Alright ladies, lemme get this one straight. The first rule of meeting someone is to be fashionably late. You get there early and you seem desperate, on time and you’re seen as some time keeping snob or something. Getting there super late will make you look like a lazy fat-ass, although from looking at the dress it’s rather small… Anyway, fashionably late is the way to go. You gotta turn up, looking like it’s your house and not his, and if he says you’re late, look him in the eye and tell him to shut up. That’s the sass you gotta have as a fine lady”

She crossed her arms and nodded to herself. This was indeed, wise information, given by a completely smart and level headed woman, to the devil. Naturally being a demonic creature, Tam could pull off pretty much anything she wanted anyway, but that wasn’t the point. She needed some way to actually help her, and apart from costume and murdering some guy (which the demon could do on her own anyway) she didn’t want to get left out.

“Sounds good, I wouldn’t mind having a look around, planting a few traps as well”

That hadn’t been on the agenda, and her ability to create such devices was literally none. Plus the dude wouldn’t even leave his home, but it wouldn’t stop her from trying. If there was one thing she’d learn from her days in “the army” it was that she always needed to be careful, and think forwards. What if he took her to the garden? Then what would they do? To be fair she’d still dive in and kill him, but a nice spike trap to where it hurts wouldn’t have gone a miss. It actually felt like a stroke of genius, and that made her happy.

“It is most certainly a plan. But what’s she gonna do in the mean time? Make stuff?”

She looked at the girl with a smirk before wiping her face, managing to leave a huge smudge of blood from her nose across her cheeks and upper lip, not that she minded. Her tongue than rotated around the outside of her mouth, as if she was anticipating something, and then for no reason jumped into the air. She was excited, and she had to show it somehow. How else would the others know she was happy apart from jumping up and down hurriedly? They wouldn’t, that’s how.

“This is gonna be so fun, I get to kill this guy and you get to flirt and like… Yes, it’s gonna be great isn’t it Tam?”

And with that, her and Kelly left the boat.

As the two left, Kelly stuck her head back through the door. "By the way, don't worry about what she said about your ass. It looks on point." She made an 'o' sign with her fingers. "Would totally squeeze that bitch." "Piss off, Kel." Tam gave her the finger. "Yes, your majesty." Kelly said as she continued on her way.

Tam sighed. Where the fuck did she find all of these weirdos?

She left Maggy's room and headed back to her own. She hauled the dress off and tossed it on the bed, sitting next to it in nothing but her panties. She ran her fingers through her hair. It was getting pretty long. She hadn't cut it since before she'd left Gray Town with Maggy. Not that that particularly bothered her.

She moved over to her desk and dumped herself in the chair. The letter Élise had sent was still on the tabletop, in its envelope. Tam took it out and read it again. It put a smile on her face. At least she had ONE normal friend. She grabbed a nail from her desk and used used it in conjunction with a hammer to pin the photo to the wall. It looked good there.

She pulled out her journal again. Even though she'd only written in it that morning, a lot of stuff had happened. So, she started writing - about the group of bounty hunters, about the Nightshade Pirates. About the house fire and about her date with one of the pirates, and how Kelly and Maggy were currently out. So that whittled away some of the time.

Tam sat back in her chair. She could only imagine the chaos the other two were causing right about now.

The two slightly perverted women rather swiftly left the ship, ready to go in search of this man’s place and scout it out. Maggy, didn’t have a clue where it was, having not paid any attention at all and so was entirely relying on Kelly to guide the way. In all honesty, you could have searched the whole island and probably not found a more unreliable duo than these two, which was saying something.

“So… Where exactly is this guy’s place? “

Glancing over at Kelly, she noticed her search around down the front of her top for a moment, before eventually retrieving a small piece of card and looking over it.

“Bet Tam didn't even notice me pinch this. Anyway, it's some low-key hotel. I know the place, it's not far. The room... I think it's a floor up, so that'll be fun.”

Maggy nodded. Second floor hey? A little harder to spy on places like that, and to get to as well. In fact generally speaking that made everything more annoying. In a public place like that it meant they’d have more witnesses, which wasn’t completely ideal. Although it added to the fun and enjoyment of it for the assassin, generally speaking it put her in more trouble than she needed to be in.

“And why am I not allowed to just go and kill him now and take Tam on a date instead?”

“Have you ever seen Tam get flirted with? It's so awkward, it's fucking adorable.”

The grin on Kelly’s face said it all. It didn’t exactly cheer Maggy up though. True, she had seen the inventor flustered from time to time, especially with Beelzebub back on Gray Island, but even then… They needed to go on a proper date some time, and not just a murder spree. Although those were fun for the whole family and amazingly scenic, she felt something with a tad more class would also be good for a date.

“Doesn’t seem like a good enough reason to me”

She continued mumbling to herself for a while, until eventually, after following the tattoo artist for a while, the duo arrived at what appeared to be the place. The place didn’t look the fanciest, as previously mentioned, with three floors to it, and a dodgy looking front entrance. The windows and the doors alike all seemed sort of… Dead. She wasn’t sure what it was about the place, but it wasn’t he good dead kind.

“Alright, we want to keep this low-key, so let's look for ways in other than the front door. Windows and shit. Balconies. Anything works. Don't actually break in though, not yet.”

She briefly showed Maggy the card, just so she could work out which room was their target, and then headed off on her own to do some research. And now, it was Maggy’s turn to do what she did best. Apart from, this wasn’t what she did best, because that was killing. More like, second or third best, she wasn’t sure where attracting individuals came. Looking about, she made sure nobody was looking, and then quickly dashed off along the side of the building.

This in itself was probably a mistake. As the turned the corner she noticed all the rubbish on the floor. It looked like people had just decided to throw anything they didn’t want any more right out of their windows, including cigarettes, empty packaging, and that might have even been a body. Deciding not to go and check it out, for fear of catching a disease, the sneaky woman jumped up onto the wall next to it. It was only around thigh height so she didn’t even need to clamber up, simply just jump a fair height. She then walked along it for a while, her arms outstretched like a child trying to keep her balance, before then heading over to a nearby group of trees.

Once at the tree, she began wondering if this was her best plan. She was fully aware that there were many trees all around the building, and so pretty much no matter what room it was, she would be able to see inside to a certain degree. In all honesty she was only doing it this way because then she’d be able to check if there was a way to get onto the balconies from the tree tops.

Moments later the assassin was ascending, grabbing one branch at a time and pulling herself up. She wasn’t one for climbing in all honesty. She preferred running and the odd bit of swimming, mostly because they didn’t end up damaging her nails, which tree climbing would most likely manage to do eventually. Hoisting herself up onto an overly large branch eventually, she sat herself down, one leg either side of it. It was facing towards the rooms, and she appeared to be in luck, as it hadn’t been cut in a while and so allowed a half decent walkway to the living areas before her. She pulled herself along a little bit, shuffling step by step before eventually concluding that she didn’t need splinters covering every important part of her lower body. At that point she stood up and took a few baby steps along.

“Uh… I’ll just say I can make that.”

She didn’t have a clue who’s room this was, but she suspected that she could just balcony hop if needs be. After all, the room numbers weren’t on the outside of the building or anything. She took a few steps back and sat down again, beginning to plan out her route along the place if needs be. This was most certainly second floor to begin with, which was good. However, there were sort of walls between each balcony to provide privacy for whoever liked doing things outdoors or whatever. That would be a problem, although Maggy suspected she could probably hop around them when the time came to it. If not, well it wasn’t a deadly fall, although what laid below her would probably give her enough diseases to put Kelly’s social life to shame, or hers for that matter.

A little while later she was stood outside the hotel again, wondering where Kelly was, and if she should perhaps look into the place a little bit more than how she already had done. Perhaps making a base of operations inside would be a smart move. Hire out a room, then just dash across the corridor, break in and murder the guy later on.

Satisfied with her debriefing of Maggy, Kelly turned away from her and set about investigating. She opted for the direct approach, as she usually did, and waltzed right up to the front door. It was a block of flats, and the door had buzzers for each room. Her finger hovered across the buttons until she found the one linked to their target's apartment, and pushed. She waited a few seconds. No response.

She moved down a floor and pushed that buzzer. A response came quickly this time - presumably through some kind of den den mushi system, but she was no tekkie. That was more Tam's area. "Hello?" Kelly already had a mental image of this woman. Blonde, short, but trying to compensate by wearing high heels. Fake tan, too much makeup, puts hours into their appearance and likes to pretend it isn't obvious.

"Uh, hi! Hi." Kelly tried to act happier than usual to match this woman's wavelength. "Yes, hello?" "Uh, my name's Felecia, I think my boyfriend moved into the apartment above yours recently." A short pause. "You mean Quint?" Interesting. He wasn't bothering with a false name. Kelly mocked relief. "Oh thank God, I am in the right place. Yeah, Quint Brown. He asked me to come here and pick up his bag, but he only gave me his room key and I can't get in the front door. Please, can you let me in?"

A short pause. The woman seemed sensible, doubting her story, but she seemed to shrug it off. "Sure, I'll be right down." Kelly smiled. Success!

She heard movement inside, and a few moments later the door opened. Kelly was almost taken aback, her mental image was almost spot on. Apparently, though, this girl's image hadn't been as accurate, as she stared at all the tattoos and piercings and eye shadow and revealing clothes, seemingly in mild shock, before she caught herself. "Uh, sorry." Kelly smiled warmly. "Don't worry, love, I get it a lot." "You just, uh... you're not how I imagined." Kelly shrugged. "Well, not many people imagine strangers to look like this." She pulled her own house key out of her pocket, pretending it was Quint's. "I owe you for letting me in, uh..." "Uh, Natasha," the girl said sheepishly as she moved to the side to let Kelly through.

The pair headed towards the stairs, and as they walked past Natasha's room and she went to enter, she turned like she had something important to say. "Listen, uh... I think your boyfriend..." Kelly quickly understood. "Oh, don't worry. We have an understanding. Uh, I have..." she cut herself off. "Anyway, I know I'm not his only love interest." Natasha nodded, visibly relieved that she didn't have to be the bearer of bad news, and Kelly continued up the stairs, pocketing her key as she approached Quint's room.

From the other pocket, she pulled a torsion wrench and a paperclip, which she'd long since unwound. Expecting no answer, she knocked on the door anyway, to check if their target was in. She waited. No response. Good. She started to pick the lock.

A few minutes later, she pulled down on the handle and the door swung open. She was sweating - both from the effort and worry of being seen. She quickly removed and pocketed her tools and closed the door, then turned to face into the apartment.

The front door had led into a narrow hall of sorts, with a closet built into the wall on the left, that lead into the main living area, which was occupied by basic furniture. Sofa, chair, table, bookshelf. Two doors along the wall of the living room that faced the inside of the building led into a kitchen and bedroom, and in that bedroom was an en suite bathroom. Everything seemed very simply furnished, matching the idea that someone had just moved in, but there were no boxes anywhere. Maybe this was a Nightshade pirates safe house? In which case, why would he invite Tam here? There was no way he wouldn't know her, her face had been plastered, along with Maggy's, all over the papers after they'd dealt with the serial killer.

She turned her attention to the windows. The bedroom, bathroom and kitchen lacked any at all, but the living room had several large ones, and even a balcony, so the room got plenty of light from there. She approached the door to the balcony. The key was in the lock, so she turned it and it opened, allowing her to step out onto the balcony. Simple, iron. No potted plants or small furniture, it generally looked forgotten. Perfect.

Even more perfect was the tree whose branch was exactly the right distance from the balcony to enable a jump. Boom, they had their entry point, but Maggy had no doubt already figured this out. Kelly couldn't see her, but trusted she was making good use of her time. To be honest, she'd done this kind of thing so much she didn't really need help, but hey, the more the merrier.

Now, they needed a way to keep the door unlocked to ensure their swift entry. She had a simple solution, and so headed back inside to see if she could find some glue. It didn't take her long to find one of those glue bottles with the long, thin spout - the kind you get with construction kits and the like. Making sure the door was unlocked, she stuck the end of the bottle into the keyhole, the key still in there, and gave it a good squeeze. Hopefully, once that set, it should keep him from looking the door. That is, if he even noticed it was unlocked. Perfect.

Heading out onto the balcony and closing the door behind her, she made her speedy escape along the tree branch. It didn't seem to happy about it, but showed no signs of breaking. Kelly made a mental note to be careful, then dropped from the tree to the ground, landing in a crouch and heading around to the front, where Maggy was waiting. Very impatiently, from the look on her face.

"Alright, we have our plan, so let's get back to the ship before that asshole gets back."

Maggy as usual was deep in thought, although as expected she wasn’t thinking about anything sensible. In fact it was something rather peculiar indeed, even for her. She was having feelings of jealousy too. This guy, whatever his name was, had chosen Tam to be his love interest, and although sure she was perfect, so was the assassin herself. Even more so. She loved her sidekick very much, but she loved herself more. Why didn’t this man see that in her either? Had they even met? She couldn’t remember, but he should have liked her instead, as should ever other man and woman.

“Huh what? Plan?”

She hadn’t exactly heard what Kelly had said, or seen where she’d come from. Actually it had made her jump a little bit, and it was sort of surprising she hadn’t lashed out and tried to kill her already. Tam had instructed not to rip her limbs off, and so she unwillingly had to abide. In all fairness to the blue haired woman, she was pretty cool.

“Explain it when we get back then”

She smiled at the woman and then quickly walked off. Within seconds she felt an arm on hers and she was pulled sideways, causing her to turn in the now right direction. She gave a brief smile as thanks, and then began marching down the street, humming a "quiet" song to herself. In actuality she was really loud, enough for everyone to hear.

“Stab stab stab, till his life lingers,
Blood up the walls and blood on my heel,
If he tries to stop me, I’ll take his fingers,
Making all his pirate friends mercifully kneel,
Then off with their heads, into the sea,
Send them to the wonderful dark depths of hell,
Save them from life and let them be free,
Pirates all need to die die die, not go to impel (down).”

It had been a while since she’d made up some stupid lyrics to a crazy and nonsensical song, but she enjoyed it nonetheless, and continued prancing down the street whilst Kelly attempted to keep up with her rather long strides. People were giving them weird looks, but nobody wanted to intervene in fear of losing a hand or something.

“Think I could sell that or something? What could my stage name be actually? How about… Hmm… Stabyourfuckingeyesout? You gotta say it quick though or it loses its effect. I can sort of imagine people screaming it at a concert, but… It’s missing something”

A little while later the two arrived back at the ship, and Maggy was still chanting her newfound stage name rather joyously. Her energy lowered a little bit as she stepped on board though, as she vaguely recalled the noise policy which Tam had put in place for some reason or another. Something about being too noisy in her room at 1AM or something. She hadn’t really been listening, just like usual. That seemed to be a bad habit of hers, or good, depending on whose side you were on. For the psychotic assassin it was great, as it just meant nobody could burst her bubble. Selective hearing was great.

As Tam poked her head out from her room, having heard the arrival of her two partners in anti-crime, Kelly spotted her and rushed over first, whispering in her ear, "Hey, Tam, you sure she's..." Tam put one and two together quickly and smiles sadly. "Stable? Nope. She's insane, no question, but for some reason I decided trying to reform her was a good idea. Pretend nothing's wrong." She climbed fully onto the deck as Kelly took a few steps back to give her space. "So, girls, what news? Do we have a plan?"

Kelly nodded, though was clearly still put off by whatever Maggy had done (honestly, Tam wasn't sure if she wanted to know), and got going with her report. "Picked the lock on his front door and broke in, and left his porch door unlocked. There's a branch we can use to gain access. Also, it looks like the whole thing is set up as a kind of safehouse, probably for the Nightshade pirates in general."

Tam nodded. "Okay, that's cool. So you're gonna swoop in through there and save my arse before it's violated." Kelly hesitated. "Is slightly after okay? I kinda wanna see-" Tam hit her on the shoulder. Kelly pouted. "Fine."

Tam swiftly changed the topic. "So, I'm gonna go get some paper, and you draw up a floor plan while it's fresh in your mind, and we can come up with a proper, full-on plan."

A few minutes later, the drawing was done, and the girls were gathered around the table on the deck, on which the floor plan was spread. "So, you're sure this branch can hold Maggy?" Tam asked Kelly, who shrugged. "It can hold me, and I have way more meat on me than she does." She looked Maggy up and down. "Seriously, girl, you could do with eating more." Kelly grabbed her own boobs. "Y'know?" Tam cleared her throat. "Can we continue?"

They did, for quite a while, and soon the operation was formulated to a suitable level of detail. It was ready for execution, and the sun was starting to dip below the horizon. Eight o'clock was approaching.

Tam changed into the orange dress, resisting Kelly's attempts to persuade her to go commando. Kelly was clearly more concerned for her safety than she was letting on, though, as she was kind enough to use the time Tam changed in to brew her a small cup of coffee from what she'd found in the ship's pantry. Tam wasn't really one for coffee, but she appreciated the gesture and drank it anyway. It was sweet. She'd never tasted anything like it. By the time she'd finished it, she was feeling a buzzing, a determination to do this right.

With that, the trio headed to old Q.B.'s apartment complex, Tam breaking off from the other two and heading to the front door. She breathed, the most nervous breath she'd breathed in quite a while, and tentatively pressed the buzzer for her date/target's room.

Maggy strutted back onto the ship, her heels as loud as ever on the deck, as if they were at risk of going straight through the floor. They weren’t though, as she’d tested it many a time, and the only time she’d actually gone through the floor was when she decided to jump from halfway up the mast, acting as a sort of dart, aiming at her target. Perhaps she could try that out on someone some time? That’d be interesting, and oh so fun. The first pirate they captured she would be playing human darts with, it was decided.

As soon as she noticed Tam a grin spread across her face, as the inventor was already getting to the point. However it was Kelly who got the first point in, explaining what she’d been up to on their mission. Breaking and entering was the general gist of it, which for some reason annoyed Maggy a bit. After all, she was usually the one breaking the rules and having fun, but essentially all she’d done was climb a tree in the time that the tattoo artist over there had managed much more. She needed to up her game if she was going to be the impressive one, because she was seeing a competitor right now, and she would happily stab-a-bitch if it secured her place alongside the demon.

Her head shook slowly as she listened to the conversation. In actuality, it was more of her automatic response, as she’d already toned out. The two were talking about rather uninteresting specifics right about now, and it took a few minutes of talking to finally draw her attention back into it, with the eventual mention of her name.

“The branch? The one attached to the tree? Oh I found that, it seemed to hold me just fine”

She turned to Kelly and gave her a grin, as if to declare that she was now in the lead on the cool factor. Just to add to it, she winked at the two of them and tilted her body backwards, showing off that she wasn’t just skilful, but also beautiful, despite the pose just showing off even more of her underbuilt body. Not that there was anything wrong with that, apart from the health issues it could lead to, not that she knew or cared about them, or any of the issue entirely for that matter.

“True, I am so very beautiful!”

She hadn’t listened at all, and it was most likely evident to the other two completely. As the plan was formulated, she continued to do random poses and dances to try and attract some attention, suddenly her two person audience becoming a two-thousand person audience, as she continued her “routine”. It took around five minutes before she began to calm down and listen again, and by then most things had been discussed. She had the basics of the plan down, that being bust in when she had the chance and wreck this dude entirely.

Finally the group arrived at the building once again. Maggy couldn’t help but keep looking Tam up and down, enjoying the dress to its fullest and generally having a good time. Eventually she had to be dragged, almost kicking and screaming away from her precious one, as she was taken round the side of the house to set up for the “party”. She gave Kelly another angry look, seemingly losing her like for this woman more and more as she continued to walk to their set up spot.

Tam got a response quickly after pressing the buzzer. He'd been waiting. "Hello?" Tam tried to think how to act in a way that would seem natural. "Uh, hi. It's..." she paused. She realised this arsehole had never actually asked her name. "It's me. Uh... you asked me to come." Not even so much as a pause from the other side. "You think I'd so easily forget your voice? Beautiful women are like a catchy song, they linger in one's mind for long after they've left." Tam cringed. "I'll be right down, hold on."

Tam fiddled with the hem of her dress. She wasn't worried about what people might see, her panties blocked all but her legs which she wasn't ashamed of anyway. It was just felt weird having the evening breeze pass so easily between her legs, which sounded oddly sexual now she thought about it, but she made an effort to clear her mind. She was starting to feel a slight buzz. She was meeting with an enemy who'd asked her on a date, the last thing she needed was to be sexually flustered.

The door opened, and there he was. He was dressed to kill, hopefully not literally. He wore a blazer without a shirt, leaving his chest exposed. And what a well built chest it was. This guy had clearly spent a lot of time working out in various ways, and several old scars etched a story across his rock solid abs.

"-s you, it really does." Tam was snapped back to reality by his voice. She flushed slightly realising she'd been staring down his body. "U-uh, sorry, what?" He laughed, a deep, bassy laugh. Tam shook herself. This wasn't like her. This guy was an arsehole, and she knew it, so why the hell was she...?

"I wouldn't worry, I understand how I can affect people's first impressions. I simply said that you look positively ravishing. That dress looks incredible. It suits you." His flirting was terrible and she knew it, but she had to play along, for the good of the mission. "I look even better without it." she said with a wry smile and a wink, which was a lot more forward than she'd had in mind when she'd initially decided to flirt back.

Her smile was returned. "I appreciate the enthusiasm." He stood to the side and gestured towards the stairs as he held the door open. "Let's get right down to business then." Red flags were going up in Tam's mind, telling her to be more careful, but she ignored them. Act careful and she'd expose herself, she reasoned, but right now exposing herself was the least of the things on her mind.

He led the way, and she couldn't take her eyes off his arse. It was hiding within a pair of dress trousers matching the blazer. What a shame. He opened his door, on the first floor, and entered ahead of her. She wasted no time in following behind. He took a seat in the plush sofa that occupied a good amount of the main living space, and she dove onto it beside him, sitting close, but not too close.

"So what do you want to do, Baby?" She asked in her most seductive voice. Now he was the one who seemed somewhat uncomfortable, but Tam didn't really notice. "U-Uh... I don't know..." Tam smiled. "You don't have a plan? Are you suuuuure?" She moved in close and whispered in his ear. "I know I have one." She began walking the fingers on her right hand up his right leg, and that was when Brown leapt from the sofa and pointed a gun at Tam.

She cocked her head kept going, coming onto him. Nothing else was on her mind, not even doubting why that might be. "That wasn't the weapon I was hoping you would draw. If you really wanna fire some rounds into me, how about we do it the proper-" "Cut the crap! There's no way you-" he shook himself. His speech wasn't loud, but was very shaky, like he was genuinely spooked and confused by what he was hearing. "There isn't any crap here, baby." She stood and moved towards him, slowly pushing him back until they were against the window, standing upright. "Just you and me." She peeled his blazer off, his gun falling to the ground, and wrapped her arms around his shoulders and leaned in for a kiss, but his hand was there blocking her face.

"Come on, baby, don't ruin the mood." Her hand went to the clasp at the back of her dress, and it came undone, her top half becoming exposed as she pulled herself even closer to him and her hand went to his flies. "N-No, wait, stop. They said you were-" He stopped mid-breath. Tam barely noticed.

“If you’re finding this as hot as I am, then you’re not gonna want to fucking stop them, but if you don’t they’re gonna go all the way, and that’s… Bad”

“But… But it’s just so…”

“The fuck are you waiting for, you wanna deflower her personally, right? He's gonna get there fir-”

Before Kelly could even finish her sentence, Maggy had launched herself from their hiding spot at the top of the tree. Her heart was racing, and if you were to look closely, you might even spot the blood trailing from her nose as she sprinted along the branch, paying little attention to the creaking sound it was making. She might have been light, but her footstep were heavy, which couldn’t have been helping. As she reached the end of the tree, she kicked off with all her might, ignoring the snapping sound behind her as she soared through the air towards the window. Her feet hit the small amount of ground by the window, but her body continued as she slammed into the window at high speeds.

“She’s miiinnnneeeeee

The window shattered and the assassin flew straight on through, missing the two by a country mile as she soared across the room like some sort of majestic eagle, before halting rather abruptly as she came into contact with the wall. A small cloud of dust arose from the ground which she was now laid in, as the woman silently cursed the cheap walls which were now stuck in her eyes. She groaned and began rubbing her eyes, eventually leaving them to begin to focus on her surroundings. The gross man now stood there in shock, his hand quivering and his eyes slowly drawing towards the weapon on the floor. In the background she could also make out a damaged tree, with the branch now completely missing, and a shocked looking Kelly sat at the top. However the most interesting thing was in the foreground, that being a rather underdressed Tam.

“YES!”

Her nose began to spurt blood again, and it took a whole lot of concentration for her to focus again, as she realised that the surprised and scared man was now looking directly at the weapon before, which she hadn’t considered in all honesty. She jumped to her feet as he dived for the gun, but before he could lay even a finger on it, she’d made her way across the whole room in a matter of a few quick strides, holding him by the throat and holding him by the “open” window, clenching her hand tighter and tighter as she dug her nails into his fleshy skin, ignoring him gasps for breathe or his attempts to talk.

“She’s not yours to use ratbag, she’s mine, and I’m the one that gets to see her bare body, and touch her wherever I want, and… Point is, I’m going to enjoy this you scum”

With that, she pushed hard on his neck, causing his head to jolt awkwardly as he made a weird noise, presumably in pain. He didn’t seem that tough, but she didn’t even notice as she slammed her heel into his foot, shivering a little as she savoured his strained movements and attempted yelps. By now his face was turning a little blue, with streams of tears running down his face, which just made her even more excited. She leant in close, her lips almost touching his as she teased him a little, still holding his throat with one hand, and the back of his head with the other to prevent him from moving away. She breathed heavily against his face in a rather suggestive way just to add insult to injury, before she poked her tongue out and quickly struck out at his tears. They tasted really salty. Funnily enough, that’s just what his crew would be after the next part of her little game.

“Soooo good. If you weren’t such a bitch, I might have kept you around for a bit. It’s been a while since I’ve had my own torture doll. Shame I’ve gotta end you right here. And trust me matey, this is personal”

With that, she released his neck and head. He gasped heavily and sharply, trying to raise his arms to stop her, in order to try and say something, not that she’d let him. Her elbows slammed into each of his arms, causing them to drop again as he choked in pain. He couldn’t even scream, due to the pressure she’d been putting on his throat, which was rather a shame. Still… She could still enjoy herself, as she’d just have to imagine she was brutally murdering a mute or something.

“What do you guys think, eyes or fingers first?”

She didn’t even turn to refer to either of the girls who had been accompanying her, yet still seemed to find the answer a moment later, nodding in agreement to the inaudible reply from whoever she was taking orders from. Her free foot swiftly raised from the ground which she had been stood on, and a moment later she brought it down on the top of his knee, causing his whole body to topple downwards into a sort of kneeling position, his hands instinctively moving to the wound, as she used his leg as a platform to help remove her other heel from his foot. She then removed her heel from his knee too, and allowed him to clasp at his injury, all the while attempting to scream. As soon as his hands touched the injury however, she stamped down again, pinning his hands to his leg whilst stabbing through them. As soon as his body began to shake, she grabbed him firmly by the chin and lifted it up so that they could look into each-other’s eyes.

“Fitting, don’t you think?”

And with that, she pushed up from his impaled hands and legs, twisting as she rose into the air and swung with her spare leg. In one smooth movement, her heel cut straight into his throat, slicing straight through a good half of it as she finished her pirouette of sorts and hopped from his now dead body. Blood spurted from his neck and his eyes rolled up into his head, as his body toppled through the smashed window, flopping with a thud into the ground below. A pool of blood began to form rather quickly around him as the assassin observed from the window, a wry smile on her face and a slight sense of euphoria flowing through her body. She briefly turned to the badly dressed Tam and smiled, her face and shirt coated in spatters of blood as she licked some from near her lips.

Kelly was almost disturbed by the... passion with which Maggy awkwardly slew her opponent. From her entrance to the finishing blow, the entire assassination was way off. And don't even get her started on the bit where she licked his face. Who the hell had Tam got tangled up with? By the time his throat was finally slit, he probably welcomed death with open arms.

Kelly was concerned, but she'd cross that bridge when she came to it. For now she had bigger worries, specifically the worries that had caused her to take action when she did. She approached Tam, who had fallen away from the guy when Maggy had begun her assault. She was practically drooling, and her eyes looked very confused. Her brain had no idea what to make of the sights before her. There was the usual fear and horror, but there was something else in her eyes, an emotion Kelly knew well, but was completely foreign to the situation at hand. Kelly knew it was there before she looked. For the time being, though, they needed to get out of there.

"Tam, you okay?" Tam's gaze drifted towards her. "Kel..?" She nodded. "Yeah. You alright?" Tam broke eye contact. "I..." she took a breath. "I don't know. I feel... I feel sick, like..." Kelly cut her off, looking down. "Yeah, I know. That's on me, I... I thought it'd just make this easier for you." Tam looked straight at her with as much focus as she could muster. "What did you do?" Kelly dodged the question. "Look, can we talk about this later? Someone probably heard the window smash. Can you stand?"

Using the sofa as leverage, Tam shakily got to her feet, pulling her dress back into place. "Just about..." Kelly nodded and moved to the kitchen, looking in the cupboard under the sink for the bin bags. She pulled one off and headed back to the other two, handing it to Maggy. "Put him in it. We don't wanna leave a blood trail."

While she did that, Kelly sat on the sofa next to Tam. She fished in her pocket and pulled out a small container, about the size of a matchbox. She passed it to Tam. "I gave you some of those. In the coffee. Ryoko uses them for her nerves when we do it, so I figured... I figured they'd make this easier for you. I guess they hit you stronger than I thought they would." Tam read the writing on the box. "You gave me a fucking aphrodisiac?!" Kelly looked away. "It's meant to just be a mild one, but I guess you have low tolerance or something. Sorry. Sleep it off and you'll be fine."

It slowly dawned on Tam what could've happened if Maggy hadn't stepped in when she had. "You saw that something was wrong and sent her in early, didn't you?" Kelly didn't say anything. "Thank you." "Don't thank me. It's my fault it was an issue in the first place." She stood up.

"Come on, we'd better go. Maggy, you carry him. We'll head back to the ship, drop Tam, then pick up his wanted poster from the bar and take him to the Marines."

Although still hung up on the thrill of murder, it didn’t take Maggy long to realise that something was up. She’d never taken Tam to be much of an actor, but had kind of overlooked her whole performance, instead blaming it all on the man that she’d just impaled, and overkilled to the next dimension. She didn’t actually see it as overkill, but more of a dramatic art, a little bit like what she thought her demon friend had been doing. Looking at her now, she seemed a little bit shaken up. She took a brief step towards her to see how she was doing, but was soon distracted by Kelly climbing in through the window and waving her away. Normally she’d object, but it seemed like blue hair knew what she was doing.

“You can count on me”

With her job to throw the body into the bin bag she’d been presented with, Maggy decided it would be best to get things done quickly. Poking her head out of the window and looking both ways to make sure nobody was about, she carefully hopped down, landing carefully and also on top of the body. It was still pretty fresh and so it wasn’t too surprising when blood spurted out everywhere, but she should have probably tried to have landed on the normal ground.

She stepped carefully off of the body, and spent a few minutes inspecting him for personal objected and all that sort of stuff. After having her fun and finding a few beli coins too, she eventually decided to put him in the bag, pulling it straight over his head and then just pushing him inside of it. It was a little bit difficult to manage as she was just used to leaving the body there and removing the murder weapon, but eventually she got him inside, and tied it up with a nice knot which would hopefully hold. Getting him back into the room would prove a bit of an issue though, and she briefly considered dragging him round to the front of the building, before eventually clicking that would be a bad idea.

“I should probably think about these things a lot sooner to be honest…”

Leaving the body there, she pulled herself back up through the window with a little bit effort, trying to avoid cutting herself on the glass which was pretty much everywhere thanks to her kicking him out of the window and smashing it even more than she had by flying in. Once finally up into the room, she rolled on the ground and then got to her feet, only to be told to go and grab the body. She crossed her arms across her chest and frowned.

“You really don’t take me seriously enough”

It was probably a little difficult to take her seriously seeing as currently she had blood completely smeared across her face, from her attempts to learn a little bit more about the person she’d killed. She’d been practicing her ability to tell someone’s blood type just by tasting it, and so far had worked out that she needed to train more. The guy was most likely an O type, although so had everyone else been that she’d checked, and she obviously wasn’t taking into account diet etcetera for the different tastes. She began to speak as she walked briefly over to the kitchen, rubbing her face with a tea-towel of his and leaning over the counter to grab something.

“Fine, I’ll grab him. If anyone sees us though, you can use this to silence them”

She gave a menacing grin as she drew a knife out of a holder. It was a little weird for a place like this to have one of those, but most likely he bought it himself. Walking over towards Kelly, she looked her dead in the eye, and held the knife out, holding it between two fingers by the blade, so that she blue haired woman wouldn’t risk cutting herself. Unfortunately, she didn’t seem ready to take it, and as Maggy simply smiled and stabbed the knife into the wooden table nearby to allow her to take it if she wanted to.

“Unless you have your own tactics of course. I mean… A body shaped bin bag seems suspicious doesn’t it?”

Although generally she said stupid things, this made a little bit of sense for once. She wasn’t fully aware of how used to seeing dead people the locals were though, seeing as the island functioned purely to catch pirates. But alas, she didn’t know that, and was just guessing that it was a bad thing.
