Character:William Request: Approve New Traits, Tech Upgrades and New Techs Changes: New Traits: William has passed 275 SD, surpasing 250 SD in the same SL, so he gains one general trait and one professional.
I would like to spend the professsional trait on upgrading Rapier Mastery into: Advanced Rapier Mastery (2 Traits) - Requires 100 SD earned. This replaces Rapier Mastery if the character already possesses the trait. The character has attained supreme mastery in one specific weapon or form of attack that they have Martial Proficiency (can make techniques greater than rank 14) with. All techniques using this weapon or form of attack are always treated as being four ranks higher for purposes of calculating their technique rank benchmark, though their actual rank is not changed. Additionally, all techniques which gain this benefit have their focus cost reduced by half.
I would like to spend the general trait on: Technical Mastery [1 Trait] - Increases total technique points by 100% of your fortune score, but does not stack with Technically Adept (this benefit overrides the previous benefit). Requires Technically Adept and 100 SD earned.
Technique Upgrades:
I'll separate these into unrelated sections to make it easier to tackle the topic, since I'm trying to rearrange the branching of many of these techniques, so individual sections will require some concentration to get through.
Section 1: Buffs
I would like to upgrade all buff techs:
Zoan
Full Zoan Form (37) [33 + 4-free] Type: Transformation Range: Self Stats: +18 Speed, +19 Accuracy
Description: Will transforms into the mythical Stymphalian Bird, a medium sized vulture with a razor sharp bronze-like beak and claws, covered in equally sharp silver-looking metallic feathers which he can launch towards his targets at will. Moreover, the metal feathers will over time wilt and melt into puddles of highly toxic quagmires in a certain shade of pale brown, sinking anyone foolish enough to step on them. The toxin in the quagmire is so lethal that once it soaks into the soil nothing can grow on it anymore. On human skin, the toxin can infect wounds, especially the ones caused by the feathers. Whether shot or not, the feathers melt after one post of their detachment from the body. Being a vulture, he can see normally up to a longer range than his human eyes.
Beak, claws and feathers are currently as hard as tier 2 materials (steel).
Each quagmire is currently big enough to drown a medium sized house.
The poison inflicts a -29 debuff on strength that lasts for 9 posts.
Description: Will transforms into a hybrid form of the mythical Stymphalian Bird and his human apearance. He grows to three meters in height, and grows out large wings over a width of five meters on his back, independently of his arms. He gains a razor sharp bronze-like beak and claws on his hands and feet, which gain scaly rough skin similar to that of a bird. His hands retain their human form otherwise, but his legs transform completely into those of a bird, while conserving their usual proportions compared to his body. His entire body becomes covered in sharp silver-looking metallic feathers which he can launch towards his targets at will. Description: William makes small red pills, which when swallowed, flood the user's body with energy increasing their strength and stamina. The buff lasts for 9 posts. He may start with 4 of these each SL.
TP cost: 9 (to upgrade Full Form) + 18 (to branch Hunter) + 9 (to upgrade Strength) = 36 Hybrid form is signature form.
Section 2 - Stymphalian Feather Techs
I would like to upgrade Bullet to include bullet speed and steel breaking, along with all its branches, like so:
From
Feather Techniques
Bullet (10*) Type: Offensive Range: Medium Stats: N/A
Description: Will Shoots one of his feathers at the target with as much speed as he can muster, resulting in great penetrative power. Enough to stab tier 1 materials.
Description:Branched from Bullet. Will Shoots two of his feathers from the same arm at the target with as much speed as he can muster, resulting in great penetrative power. Enough for each of them to stab tier 1 materials. There is one little twist though, the speed of the two feathers, as well as their positions make it so one is hidden behind the other from the point of view of the traget, or someone else of William's chosing.
Description:Branched from Bullet. Will Shoots mutiple feathers in succession from a wide area on his body at different angles, with as much speed as he can muster, resulting in less penetrative power than Bullet, but a greater number of quagmires. These will collctively be able to pierce tier 1 materials.
Description:Branched from Bullet Rain. Will Shoots a great ammount of feathers in succession from all over his body in all directions, with as much speed as he can muster, resulting in less penetrative power than Bullet, but a much greater number of quagmires. Many of these will succeed in stabing tier 1 materials.

Feather Techniques
Bullet (28*) Type: Offensive Range: Long Stats: N/A
Description: Will Shoots one of his feathers at the target with as much speed as he can muster, resulting in great penetrative power. Enough to stab tier 2 materials. Additionally, the feather travels with similar velocity to a bullet.
Description:Branched from Bullet. Will Shoots two of his feathers from the same arm at the target with as much speed as he can muster, resulting in great penetrative power. Enough for each of them to stab tier 2 materials. There is one little twist though, the speed of the two feathers, as well as their positions make it so one is hidden behind the other from the point of view of the traget, or someone else of William's chosing. Additionally, both feathers travels with similar velocity to a bullet.
Description:Branched from Bullet. Will Shoots mutiple feathers in succession from a wide area on his body at different angles, with as much speed as he can muster, resulting in less penetrative power than Bullet II, but a greater number of quagmires. These will collctively be able to pierce tier 2 materials. Additionally, the feathers travels with similar velocity to a bullet.
Description:Branched from Bullet Rain. Will Shoots a great ammount of feathers in succession from all over his body in all directions, with as much speed as he can muster, resulting in less penetrative power than Bullet, but a much greater number of quagmires. Taking multiple hits from these feathers can cause damage to Tier 2 materials (steel). Additionally, the feathers travels with similar velocity to a bullet.
TP Cost: 18 (to upgrade Bullet)
Section 3 - Shockwaves
I would like to add a branch to Great Bird, like so:
From
One Sword Style
Moon Dance: Bird (14*) Type: Offensive Range: Short Stats: N/A
Description: Will swings his sword with enough power and skill to generate a round edged standard cutting shockwave that travels at his target. This shockwave can inflict cutting damage on materials of Tier 1 (iron) hardness or lower.
Moon Dance: Great Bird (28*) [14 + 14] Type: Offensive Range: Medium Stats: N/A
Description:Branched from Bird. Will swings his sword with enough power and skill to generate a big round edged standard cutting shockwave that travels at his target. This shockwave can inflict cutting damage on materials of Tier 2 (steel) hardness or lower.

Description:Branched from Great Bird. Will holds one of his rapiers facing forward and the other backwards, then uses his means of support (legs or wings) to spin his whole body around and release multiple successive "Great Bird" shockwaves from each sword. The shockwaves travel together while rotating around the same imaginary access, resulting in a small tornado aimed at the target. This can inflict cutting damage on materials of Tier 2 (steel) hardness or lower.
TP Cost: 8 (to create Bird Invasion)
Section 4 - Rapier Thrust Techs
I would like to Branch a gatling from Breaker Express, like so:
Two Sword Style
Moon Dance: Second Breaker II (28*) [24* + 4] Type: Offensive Range: Melee Stats: N/A
Description:Branched from Exress Breaker. Will thrusts his sword with great speed and skill directly at his opponent, and repeats this action with one sword after the other in a gatling motion. Taking multiple hits from theis technique can cause damage to Tier 2 materials (steel).
TP Cost: 4
New Techs:
Rokushiki
Silver Flash (28) Type: Support Range: Self Stats: N/A
Description: Once a post, William can use this technique to put on momentary bursts of speed that make them invisible to the untrained naked eye. The user may move to any location they could normally reach within a number of meters equal to the rank of this ability near-instantaneously. During this movement, they cannot be seen by anybody who's accuracy is less than double this technique's rank, appearing as a blurred streak (often of silver color, like his feathers) to anybody who's accuracy is above that point. Additionally, the user cannot be hit by a targeted attack by anybody who's speed is lower than the user while the technique is active.
Description: Using instinct-driven, reflexive movements and loosening up all of their muscles, the user dodges an attack much the way a piece of paper in the breeze does. While in use, this technique allows the user to automatically dodge attacks made by an individual with accuracy lower than it's current rank and reduces the effective accuracy of any attack made against the user by a value equal to this technique's rank. Attacks can not be made while using Kami-E.

For the rankyaku ones, the description in the techniques topic is correct; at base, rankyaku only cuts through up to stone. You'll need to spend extra ranks to make it armour breaking. Otherwise you're fine.

I edited them back because I realized the techs I alread have cut iron, so I can't drop it in an upgrade. I've raised their rank, raised the steel rank too, and had to remove the upper branches of the steel version since I don't have enough arnk to pull it off.
I think everything should be good now.

So first up you can't change which technique others are branched from. If you want you can make duplicate techniques branching from bullet 2.
The whole marksman bullet speed deal is kind of a weird area. But if you want the sort of run of the mill super speedy effect they get just for using fire arms and the like then you don't need to add anything to the description.
If you're gonna specifically state it's a bullet speed type attack then it'd be a higher rank 28* for bullet 32* for bullet II
Which would make shadow 38*
Rain 36*
Storm 40*
Again with the rankyaku you can't simply turn a normal shockwave into rankyaku nor are you allowed to branch non rokushiki techs into rokushiki. So the rankyaku stuff would have to be seperate.
Bullet speed attacks much like elemental attacks start at 28 and go upwards so you couldn't branch your rank 14 thrust into it. You'd need to start with a rank 28 bullet speed thrust and work up from there.
Conversely you could start with a sword-shigan since you have all the roku stuff and go from there
Devil Fruit Type: Cush Cush no Mi Devil Fruit Type: Paramecia Devil Fruit Ability: This devil fruit turns the user into a cushion man, given them a body filled with stuffing rather than flesh and blood, though all organs are still in place. When injured stuffing themselves back up and stitching the wound closed can accelerate healing. The user is also able to make any surface they touch soften to the consistency of a pillow giving it a soft cushiony appearance.

I'd say for storm just alter the wording slightly to "taking multiple hits from these feathers can cause damage to T2 materials" since as it it kinda sounds like they pierce the material at random which they don't, it's cumulative.
Take severe out of of the second bird description, all you're really paying for there is making the shockwave somewhat larger.
Invasion - Is it saying you spin in a circle while releasing shockwaves which creates a tornado of shockwaves you then send at your opponent? If so, bump it another 4 ranks.
Second breaker - just alter the wording slightly to "Suffering multiple blows from this can cause damage to T2 materials"
