Ginjo grinned up at the man, not seeming bothered by the minor injuries as he raised the blade slowly and shifted into a Kendo stance. "Come on then you bastard ... I'll cut you down to size before I end you for all you've done on this island ..." He growled- raising the blade as he aimed it at the large sand scarab. Kaine's eye twitched, "You cocky little brat ...!" He snarled, the large Scarab charging forward as he slammed a hand down and suddenly several long ropes of sand shot out to grab Ginjo- whom narrowed his eyes and slashed the air, releasing a blast of flames that halted the assault as the glass shattered as the blade hit it after the flames coated them.

However- it became painfully obvious that was not the true attack as the large Scarab's leg shot out to impale him mid-swing. Ginjo grinned slowly, disappearing in a flash as he re-appeared above the Logia user. Kaine cursed- "That crap again ...!" He tried to locate the boy, hearding the movement in the air above him he turned his head just in-time to raise a large sand barrier to halt the horizontal strike from behind him- before his eyes widened as the blade seemed to not even care about the sand. The flames turning it to glass- and the blade shattering through it effortlessly.

"This cuts through steel ... you think you're stupid sand will save you ...?" Ginjo murmured with a cruel glint in his eyes- Kaine's own widening in fear as the sand sucked him in at the waist as he tried to dodge. The explosion of the blade colliding and blood combined with glass flying through the air- leaving Ginjo standing on a slowly collapsing scarab as he sucked his teeth in annoyance. He noted the blood that covered his blade and knew at the least he had scared the man off for a few moments, lowering the glowing blade as the blood rapidly evaporated and the scent of burned flesh filled the air.

"Where did you go ..." he pondered, his Haki reaching out- before he felt it, the attack that was coming from behind. Narrowing his eyes he quickly sidestepped, watching Kaine's eyes widen as his now arm of sand shaped like a spear shot right past Gin where his head used to be. Gin then noticed it was not that Kaine's "eyes" widened, but that his "eye" widened. His other eye as well as a large portion of his head and face, was covered in a layer of glass and sliced about an inch deep to the skull. Kaine stumbled past him as the spear failed, cursing as a hand rose to the glass on his face from Gin's previous blow as the boy slowly smirked.

"How's it feel to be outmatched you bastard ... It's funny, because you're definitely as strong as me ... but you fight like a brute. You can't hit what you can't see ..."

Haruka's fight would not be so one sided as her Captains, finding his nerve to fight and a way to do so without his arrows. Jira whilst till grounded would scramble to his feet, fishing his bow from his back and quickly taking aim on Haruka whom had taken to the slow stroll which had been scaring her opponent oh so much. Still, he would train a shot right for her, aiming for a kill shot. Unfortunately for him, the moment he let go, Haruka was already dashing to the side, and once her feet had hit, she would be lunging forward at him, the blade on her arm pulled back and ready to impale. The fortunate side for him would be his game plan however, able to slightly predict her movement, at least due to her having approached in this fashion so many times before. He would be quick to roll forward, under her attack, his eyes having long since spied the arrow which hit a tree right behind where she had been.

Pulling it free, he would spin and just as quickly as he would pull back that arrow, he would let go with a rapid fire arrow. She hadn't even turned around when it struck her in the back. His aim having been off due to the quickness, as well as the pressure she had applied to him. It would miss her vitals, but still, it was a large wound in her. All smiles, Jira would look to celebrate, but perhaps this would be a bit early due to the fact that as he could hear her growl lowly at him. he now faced an interesting problem. With the arrow in her back, what was he to do to get it back?

Fully enraged due to the pain she felt, as well as the thing now protruding out from behind her. She would spin around in a rage and rush him, leaving him to practically yelp as he realized the problem fully. Not only did he have her in this state looking to even the score for what he had done to her friend. Now he had royally pissed off the animalistic side of her on top of it, making her even angrier than she already was. To his luck however, her attack would be sloppy, or perhaps his agility made it seem so. He would be able to duck and roll under the swing of her weapon, and with great sense of awareness, grab hold of that arrow in her back and pull it free with a yell from her. It was a chancy strategy, but it seemed to work for the time being for Jira.

The man whom had enslaved hundreds. Murdered thousands. Ruined the lives of thousands more, had fallen to his knee's before him- he had to admit it felt good. This monster of a human that had decided to try and kill him, to enslave him, to do so much in order to get his way and destroy everything else around him without hesitation if that was the cost. Slowly he raised the blade as Kaine weakly cradled forward and turned to look at Gin, "W-wait! Don't you want to know information?! I can give you information connecting to the black market! I can give you leads to crush them! Just spare me, I'll take prison! I'll take anything over dying!" He murmured, hands going up- revealing just how much of a coward he truly was.

Kaine falling to his knee's behind him cursing under his breath almost made Gin happy. The son of a bitch had caused alot of pain and suffering, and he had to admit he was glad to see at least some of it coming back to bite the logia in the ass. Raising the blade slowly he narrowed his eyes- before swinging down with a growl as the flames erupted outward, he didn't give a speech. He didn't hesitate. He didn't do what every other bad or good-guy that gets caught mid strike because they talked to long did, his blade sank into the man's neck- and with a sickening thud, the pirate slowly fell over as his head rolled across the ground, still half-glass as the wound smoked from being burned shut.

"... I can find all that out without you, if I let you live your marine allies will just make sure you walk. Fuck that. Burn in hell you bastard."

Slowly, he raised his hand and pushed the hair from his face, panting softly from using so much of his energy to fight the logia as he slowly looked around- the remaining few pirates were down and his men were recovering and gathering together to find out whom was gone and who had managed to stay alive. Narrowing his eyes on the man as he raised a hand and carefully looked for Haruka and Rei- muttering under his breath as he sprinted forward- rushing toward the direction outside the town that he had last seem them all heading. Leaping over bodies and moving around those stumbling about recovering from the attack, he reached out trying to sense with his Haki- but he wasn't strong enough with it. It was damn hard to control.

Cursing under his breath he moved as fast as he could, tree's blurred by as he searched for the three, until he heard the familiar snapping of twigs and leaves- followed by Haruka's scream of pain and bestial snarls. His cursing getting rapidly more violent he clenched the blade in his hand as he dashed along before leaping upward and heading toward the main source of the noise- he couldn't let Haruka loose herself again. He needed to calm her down even if it meant taking her vengeance away from her- he was supposed to be the killer. He was the one to take the pain on his shoulders, he wanted her to live a happier life than him- not turn down his same path!

Continued yelps and growls from Haruka as the cycle this man, Jira had formed on her would continue. One after another with the arrow hitting her from behind, getting ripped out and then used again. It would leave her with more than a few puncture wounds and her stamina was beginning to drain along with her blood which littered the ground. This as of current, would leave her hunched over, breathing heavily, panting from the exhaustion she felt. Jira would now be standing confidently, bow drawn and an arrow ready to hit her again. Though with her current state, the man knew that it would be unlikely that she would dodge anything he shot her way and this would allow him to take his time in firing. Walking forward, he would wear a proud smile as he looked her over, the hate in her eyes remaining, and yet she seemed more like a caged animal, wounded and ready to strike in it's defense.

"Well, I guess it's time to put the dog down, ins't it?" He would ask in a rhetorical fashion. Letting a chuckle out before he raised his bow up, looking to take careful aim for her head, standing just a short few feet from her. It would be impossible for him to miss this time. click It would be a sound which would perk up Jira's ears, he hearing it as clear as day, and yet.....boom he would get to do nothing about it as he would soon find his brains sprayed across the tree behind him, and a rather sizable inconvenience in his head. He would of course drop like a ton of bricks, and this would leave Rei sitting in her tree, the barrel of her rifle smoking, and a look of ice in her eyes. With a smooth motion, she would eject the shell and catch in in mid air, her eyes soon trailing down to Haruka whom was starting to come around it seemed.

Hopping down, Rei would wave to her, slinging her rifle over her shoulder. Though the time in which she had done this, Haruka had already begun to fall for the ground. Eye's widening, Rei would run to catch her, though she would come up short. Haru hitting the ground with a thud, Rei would remain wordless as she merely scooped her up in her arms, looking down at her friend. A relief washing over her as she saw that Haru was breathing, and judging by the wounds on her, she would be fine, though the blood certainly needed to be stopped. They could only hope that Gin would be close by.....

Ginjo ran- he ran as hard as he had in his entire life as he forced himself step by step toward Haruka, the world blurred past him. He needed to ensure she was alive, and he needed to ensure he could save them both after what had happened- cursing under his breath as he moved at his top speed, he disappeared in a Soru again and again as he struggled to catch up to the young woman. Finally, after what seemed like hours to the young man- but was in fact more like a simple two or three minutes he landed with a skid before them. Immediately he summarized the situation as he glanced at the downed man, followed by Rei holding a bleeding-out Haruka as he cursed.

Moving forward he immediately applied the medical bandages to her, wrapping her body up in them as he ensured the young woman wouldn't bleed out on the way back. His medical pouch was empty by the time he was done with her, hefting her onto his shoulder as he nodded to Rei, "Back to the Base. I'm going on ahead." He stated simply- before disappearing once more in a flash of speed- his Soru draining his stamina much more while carrying the weight of someone else, but he knew he had to. Moving at his top speed the young man leap over rock and ridge, vaulted over each hill and around each tree until finally coming to a halt before the large barrier.

Ginjo's feet took him around the massive wall to it's main gate where he glared up at the Marines as he moved, "Open the gate for Haruka!" Immediately the clank of the metal rising was heard as Ginjo ducked underneath it holding her and didn't even stop to rest- continuing to run as he moved toward the main medical wing of the building. Dashing in, Ginjo would spend the next week tending to the young woman's wounds as well as the wounds of many others- but they would retain their grip on the Island, the slave trade on it snuffed out- at least for now, along with the dark priests that those on Cactus Island didn't want to even register existed to others.

After three weeks, Ginjo watched Haruka get up- and recover from the loss of Kaji with the help of Rei, and as he watched them- he knew he couldn't let them come with him. Haruka had taken two steps back socially as he watched her, he was changing her back into what she had been by example- because he knew he was changing. His attacks had been violent, brutal, without any sense of true justice or mercy. He had -liked- the fight, even if he had hated those he was fighting. With these thoughts, the man took a step back- and he left them with the marines, he left them with their friends as he gained a new crew and watched them leave him, because he ordered them too.

Hugging them both, ruffling their hair and smiling sadly- he didn't lie to them when asked. He told them the truth ... he wanted better. For both of them. Once more- Ginjo was alone, and soon he would realize just how alone he truly was.
