Thunderbird doesn't heal, and the only way it's really similar to the Phoenix mzoan is that they're both birds. The ability sets are completely different.
Yes, your right, they are both birds.

So let me get this straight, you all allowed a thunder bird mzoan (colour) to be on the site, lets say when he reaches 128 rank, he can finally disintegrate and create thunder storms at will (cyclones etc)? (basically can already) While the phoenix is just as powerful and can go supernova?

Long story short, their the same; both gigantic elemental avians that have different abilities which resignates with their element.

This can explain why the (average) dragon mzoan hasn't been thought of too because it's mainstream right?
Well no, because the Phoenix can't use it's fire offensively, only to heal the user. Which it does so quickly as to make the user unbalanced on the site. Without seastone the phoenix user is basically un-killable.

To say it hasn't been thought of isn't really accurate, it just hasn't been accepted for usage on the site. People have definitely thought of a dragon MZoan, and the Phoenix as well, however for the reasons listed above they just weren't deemed the appropriate choice for our limited pool of MZoans.

Hm, sounds like you guys have already taken apart the phoenix's ability to out right heal. I agree with everything else.

Phoenix had holes blow all through it including the head with kizaru's lasers. And it would be strange he didn't use haki on an opponent he should have taken seriously like he normally does with criminals. The wounds were all headed instantly. His healing is so great he uses himself as a meat shield all the time to block attacks since he recives as fast as they destroy him.
im pretty sure if he could use haki on his lazers marco would have died

but marco clearly showed other than insane defense he couldn't really harm anyone.

he was barely on par with everyone he clashed with

But it makes people almost impossible to kill. Imagine a character gaining this DF in OPRP. They could just fly around in Mzoan form and would never be hurt, its ridiculously powerful.

where is the part where i should be scared?

the only thing the bird could offensively do is peck or claw at you with its talons

maybe you can stretch it and do some air slash with your wings

if you lop body parts off with haki grandmaster or seastone it ain't regening shit shit

Yes it would. The only thing Garp's haki punch managed to accomplish was knocking Marco back. And why would grandmaster make any wick of difference to a zoan? The only thing grandmaster does is let you hit elements.

It's not allowed due to a combination of not wanting canon myths and being too damn powerful.

his healing also does more than just recover wounds, he was shown to have pretty much not aged at all despite being one of the founding member of the whitebeard pirates over the source of many years. So he has the whole wolverine semi immortality thing going. Not only that but if his body regenerates any wounds whats to stop him from say ignoring any fatigue. Essentially he could sprint for an unlimited amount of time, exert enough strength that it would tear his body apart except it wouldn't because it would instantly heal. Basically his insane regenerative powers allows him to flip off the entire stat system. Stamina is irrelevant to him, strength is pointless as he can freely exert more strength than his body would normally allow with no negative consequences, same thing goes for speed, think a runner overexerting themselves or sprinting to long. Basically he'd only need a single stat, accuracy and he could BS everything else by saying he's pushing his body far beyond its limits and jut ignoring the negative repercussions. In fact if were accounting for AE he has unlimited AE as even if he over exerts his AE any strain on his body would be instantly healed. he could technically drop 100 rank 44 nuke punches i a row in a single post and instead of ding from it his body would have healed all the damage by the next post.

I think the gm thing comes a into play because of him being basically half zoan half logia. I think thats where nobody was going with it.

Still doesn't make sense. Grandmaster allows you to touch elements, it doesn't nullify DF abilities the same way haki does.

Haki doesn't nullify DF powers either, that's Seastone.

They do, see how haki can block Laws DF. Seastone makes DF users completely powerless.

Haki can allow you to resist df powers and touch the bodies of df users. It doesn't actually cancel and remove powers.

I never said it removed the DF power. It does more to the phoenix fruit, however, then Grandmaster which does jack. Grandmaster allows you to hit fluids and elements, seeing as the Phoenix fruit doesn't turn you into fire it will do the same as any normal attack, which isn't nullify the fruits healing abilities.
