OOC "Interesting...Both of you, actually." He eventually said after hearing both. It was entertaining enough to have someone like those two around him. Dust was finally showing himself to them, as Kasper could see that he was more than just what he appeared which ultimately, could be dangerous. Whatever was he was hiding or simply not wanting to show, he knew that he should be careful about it. At the same time, his new partner, who he now knew that was named Bledsoe, appeared to be just what he thought, a vicious business man, which could come handy. Both seemed to be quite shallow on the outside but, their true selves were far from being like that. And the more Kasper talked with them, the more he seemed to understand them. For the doctor, every piece of information was a factor, almost essential to his life, regardless of it's true usefulness. In this case, knowing more about everyone that was around him would allow him to careful analyse all possibilities for his plan to work. Now, he only needed the final pieces. "...and that's why I strongly believe that this might not be the best action to take. Please consider, Mr. Kaldwell." As soon as the door opened, the voice of the young researcher echoed through the cell, letting everyone know that they had arrived. Alice, the intelligent nurse Kasper had met before was leading the pack, followed closely by her twin sister. Along her side was a man he had never seen, sharply dressed and mannered. All of him exuded classiness, from the well kept beard and moustache to the impeccable white tuxedo with black bowtie the man was wearing or perfectly polished black shoes. That man was clearly someone important and of course, wealthy. Behind him followed a smaller younger man, who appeared to be much shier than the rest, moving as if he was covering behind his much taller companion. From time to time, his head would peek out of other man's back only to quickly disappear behind it. Whoever that person was, it was clear to the doctor that his mental health was not stable. To the side was another familiar face, Big Gunnar, who continued to carry his overly aggressive expression, mumbling inaudible stuff from time to time. It wasn't hard to see that he didn't seem to be pleased to be there, or to be walking around the shy guy, considering the disgusted looks he kept on giving him. Perhaps he felt like the apparent weakness of the man would eventually get into him, despite not being something like a virus, which could contaminate him. Finally, and behind everyone else and somewhat walk out of the little group was the oddest of them. His outfit was close to the man addressed as Kaldwell, wearing a full grey suit with a pink shirt underneath and no tie. And while the flip-flaps he was wearing on his feet were odd, since they had been paired with such an expensive looking suit, having both his hands and face completely blue was far more uncommon. So much that Kasper even gawked at the sight, knowing what that could just mean for him. "Don't worry Alice, I already prepared everything. Besides, me and Wanda talked over this last night and it was all fine. Wasn't it? Oh, that's right, she can't talk. but I can tell you she was quite talkative last night, weren't you Wanda? Anyway, let's just brief him, explain some stuff and if needed, rough him up a little. That's why we brought Big Gunnar along and I guess Dust here can give a hand too. Wasn't his speciality torture at some point? I keep forgetting, as it's nothing that interests me. Now, dear Alice, proceed as we talked. Dust open the cell and keep an eye on them." The woman didn't seem quite happy with the way the conversation was going, nor with the way it ended and Kasper could easily say that she didn't like the man at all, yet, she respected him, or rather, fear. It was quite clear now to him that, despite his gentleman looks, his personality was far from matching it. On the other hand, the shy guy continued to intrigue him as he continued to hide behind the man, just like the blue man kept his place at the end of the group. Yes the blue man, how could he forget. Once again, he found himself gawking at the man, ignoring for the most part what was happening, only to snap from it again, focusing on his current task. That sight however, was far distracting because he could be the confirmation of what he was seeking. The colour changing ability, capable of full control over your body, Life Return. If that was indeed what he was looking at then, he had just shorten his research for about 10 years. "Firstly, Mr. Bledsoe, I would like to inform that Mr. Kaldwell here is also a businessman and he is willing to form some agreements as long as you cooperate with us. The deal can be advantageous to both parties, as long as there's trust from both sides. That is why I will now introduce all of them to you. My name is Alice Pincher, head of the Research Department. My sister, Wanda Pincher, is also part of the same department and leads with me. Both of us are currently engaged on Project R.E.C. aka, Restoration of Every Colour. Financing this project is the illustrious businessman, Mr. Kendrick Klein Kaldwell, CEO of KKK Industries along with several other companies owned and ran by the Kolour Kidnapping Klan. While considered criminals by many, the organization strives for the best of Gesso and that might be achievable through Project R.E.C. Of course we also needed funding and crime seemed to be the faster way to get it. If it was right or wrong, we will only see when the project is completed. Now, I believe you already met Big Gunnar, our enforcer so I will move on. Next to him we have a very special person, Subject 79, Jeremy M. Vohn, former associate that volunteered for our tests. Unfortunately, he is not in the best of shapes so, he won't be talking much. Lastly, we have Mr. Kaldwell's personal bodyguard, a position once held by Dust here, Mr. Spencer. That is all you need to know about him for now. Now then, Mr. Bledsoe, our offer is simple and it has to be asked before we move to your partner. All we are asking from you is to allow us to test this "treatment" on your body. Finding you both was a random chance but now that we have you here, we might as well make use of you. What do you say? Think well, our payment will be great and if successful, you won't be needing to leave your house from the rest of your life. House? Make that a mansion, the biggest on this island." “Mr Bledsoe, please follow me to a more ‘appropriate’ location to sign this contract. This cell is rather primitive, I’d rather we attended to this nonsense somewhere we can look each other in the eye without someone on the ground.” Bled shrugged, picking himself up from the stone ground and brushing himself off of any dirt. Dust opened the cell, allowing Bled to leave all whilst keeping his eyes firmly planted on Kasper. Rude, the man with the golden hair needed all the attention. The businessman instantly made a bee line towards the table which contained his possessions only to be dragged away by two other guards. Being forced out of the room, they made their way through the hallway towards a room at the end. The hallway was plain, giving no hints as to where they had been dragged to. The new room was also plain and boring, a simple rectangular table with a chair on two opposing sides. Nothing to write home about. Being released from the grasp of the guards, Bled made his way to one of the chairs and sat down, leaning back. In business arrangements with people who very well may be hostile it was best to demonstrate confidence and to avoid showing any weakness. Manipulating people was easy if your body posture was right. Kaldwell soon entered and closed the door behind him. “You know I wasn’t paying attention when that lady was introducing everyone, I got about half of what she was saying before I stopped caring.” “I’m sure you’ll pick it up later by yourself, it’s nothing that a man like you can’t understand.” “Oh, so you’ve heard of me.” “Small whisperings of a new business group starting around this area, nothing major but enough to have me dig a little in what you do. So, firstly let me ask why you’re here in the first place.” Bled shrugged, taking a cigar that had been offered to him by Kaldwell, at least he knew how to show hospitality after the entire attempted assault and injection of drugs. Nothing that couldn’t be forgiven for enough money after all and that appeared to be on the table here. “I’m sure you already know about how some of your men kidnapped me and my ‘friend’ here. I’m still trying to cope with the immense shock it put me through.” “I apologize for that but at the same time what you’re saying is absolute bullshit.” “That it is though that Big Gunnar character seems to have fallen for it without any hesitation.” “He isn’t the smartest but it’s always good to surround yourself with men like him. He’d die for me and all I had to do was make him feel more important than he actually is. So, please continue.” “Sure, I wasn’t interested in coming here but Kasper von Whatever here convinced me that you guys had something worth acquiring. A secret object or idea or whatever that could fetch the right people a lot of money. So, are the secrets true? Is that what this whole thing is about, that Project R.E.C. because that doesn’t impress me as something that would be interesting for immediate returns. Maybe in ten or twenty years. So if you want shareholders or any of that nonsense I’m out. If you want something else I’m in.” “Money will ruin you, as a billionaire I can tell you that much. I’m extremely interested in your friend, he has great potential to make this experiment work. Life Return requires specific individuals with an aptitude for it which you have too actually. It’s only I can tell you have no interest in it.” “Perceptive fella you are.” Bled cocked his head to the side as smoke whisked up in front of him. It appeared that they wanted to form a deal around Kasper, interesting. He technically didn’t own the man, he’d just take the role of his lawyer and businessman. Bled was pretty sure Kasper wouldn’t mind. Like 65% sure. Those were good odds, any compulsive gambler would say as much. “Well, it’s not all about that other fellow. We also have some interest in your combat capabilities. We may have a few mutually beneficial jobs are whatnot you may want to indulge in. There’s a rival company that has the research for the one piece of the puzzle we don’t have. If you could ‘acquire’ it for us that’d be great. They don’t know who you are yet, you have the upper hand. Whilst you plan this we can ‘prepare’ Kasper.” “What’s in it for me? This is all well and good but there has to be something for me as well.” “The target happens to be the biggest trading company on the island. So do we have ourselves a deal Mr Bledsoe?” “That we do.” |

"My, my, my...Such an ambitious plan! I might like it, actually. After all, you are offering me what I was searching for by coming here. Still, success probability might be below 47% which is still good, despite being less than half. Hmm...let me think for a moment here." It would be the doctor to interrupt the silence created by the absence of both Bledsoe and Kaldwell, he who had snapped from his previous state after witnessing what he believed to be the abilities of Life Return, in the shape of a blue coloured skin as shown by the man addressed as Mr. Spencer. The explanation done by Alice only allowed him to know more about the hierarchy of the group and finally meet the man behind every decision, Kendrick K. Kaldwell, a businessman. His name was unknown to the doctor but he seemed powerful enough to run an organization like this and fund it single-handedly, even considering that they were getting money from criminal activities as well. Nevertheless, it was surprising to see such a high class looking man running such a lowly reputed group like the KKK, which was only making him think that their current reputation was nothing more than a farce to allow them to act more freely. "Life Return, isn't it? You did your research well, to know that I was after it here. To be fair, this was probably the only place I could look into at my current situation, after losing my privileges as a marine field medic. So, such conclusion, while still good, was not particularly hard to achieve. I still commend you for that, Ms. Pincher. However, let me warn you that, just judging by the state of Mr. Vohn there, I can assure you that your project has reached a stalemate, and that is not ideal to me. I understand the project, to it's fullest, despite not being on it. What you just told me was enough. Life Return is not more than an ability that is taught into people. I reached that conclusion the moment I saw both Mr. Vohn and Mr. Spencer. All you need to have is natural physical aptitude, both present on them. As a former associate, he probably served as enforcer, judging by how Big Gunnar keeps eyeing him. They shared the same position and now, he fears the same happens to him. Perhaps...this volunteering was more forced than not. But, I'm not one to judge that, as I too agree such method of experimentation. We need good subjects, the best available and that man was probably that. However, he seems to be on the verge of collapsing and I wonder why. The project's name easily leads me to understand it's purpose. Restoration of every colour! Gesso is the "Blank Country" and who has colour, rules over this island. For Mr. Kaldwell, this could mean much more power than he has, which is exactly why he is in this. The money spent with this venture will be nothing, compared to what he will be able to earn by producing near infinite coloured objects that are slowly brought into the market to never overflow it. And when the market reaches it's limit, he will rise as the island's saviour by bringing back the all it's colour. By then, he would have all his money back and even more, which would make it the right time to assume command. Interesting plan really, almost no flaws. Almost." The people inside the room all listened to the man carefully, surprised by how much information he had been able to gather so far, despite never being told anything. Even Alive, who also held great knowledge, couldn't help to constantly be amazed by Kasper, as he kept on getting every single piece of information right. This only proved them that he was the right man for the job and that they had to add him to the team, despite his odd behaviour and personality, considering what he had shown so far. "And I say almost because, of Mr. Vohn. It's obvious that all this is to be made possible through Life Return abilities. The ability itself will be taught to a selected few and then perfected by them. So far, I see two of them but there can be more. If Mr. Vohn is the number 79 then I'm guessing there are some more alive and some that just initiated the process. Mastering it will probably take several months, even years but ultimately, it will result in great gains. Among all the possibilities, the KKK is interested the most in the skin alteration, more specifically, the alteration of it's pigmentation which seems to be displayed by Mr. Spencer over there. That might need quite the expertise with Life Return but once achieved, it can be used for the next part of the project, so I theorize. Since the goal is to colour things then what this project wants is to mimic the effects of the Life Return ability or even steal that pigmentation from the user and use it on objects. Artificial colouring, would be a fitting name and a great way, as I explained earlier, to get power on this particular island. But, there seems to be a problem, which I'm guessing it's with the transplantation of the pigmentation from the human subject to the object itself. And since I'm a surgeon, who happens to also be expert on transplantations, you want me to be part of the group. Ha! And I was here thinking it would be hard for me to get this Life Return thing. I will accept, of course, as along as I'm given knowledge about this ability we are researching here. And I mean all the knowledge available. I want to know everything." "Yes...You'll be able to access the whole laboratory and get to any piece of information you want. If needed, you will also be able to reach out for each and every subject of this project and Life Return users. There's no point on restricting your access since I'm well aware that you would simply find a way through either way." Alice ended up by shaking her head in disapproval of what she had just allowed, though she knew it was the only option they had. Mr. Kaldwell, her boss, knew the benefit Kasper could bring, just like herself, though while the businessman didn't seem to find much of a threat on the doctor, she was more on defensive about that. Yes, he didn't seem to be much of a fighter, yet, with a brain like that, he didn't need to rely much on his physical prowess. In fact, to her, he was even scarier than Big Gunnar because of that. Nevertheless, they would strike the deal in order to move forward with the project. Kasper was right about everything he had said and their only hope was by having him aboard. "Good! Now, when do I start dissecting?" Edited by Benjamin Kaito, Dec 27 2014, 05:30 PM.

Bled had walked in halfway through Kasper’s monologue or lecture or whatever that crazy spiel was. He understood some of the words but mostly he was thinking about what food they served here. Walking through the small crowd the man reached his belongings and tucked them all back into their appropriate slots. Listening for a bit more, Bled decided he was most definitely bored and started playing around with one of his knives. What Kasper was saying didn’t matter to him, that much should have been obvious. No, he was far more interested in the fact that the person knew any of these things at all. Scientists were pretty valuable assets, especially ones that specialised in odd areas no one really cared about. They were definitely the most valuable in case an emergency broke loose in their specialised field. Supply and demand. A crisis demanded something and Bled would supply it for a very inflated and unreasonable price. He was even more valuable right now, having gained access to the entire scientific facility belonging to this jolly little terrorist group. Perhaps Bled had underestimated Kasper, there appeared to be more underneath the burnt skin than a psycho lunatic who spouted ceaseless nonsense. “So, tell me more about this group you want me to steal from.” Bled casually prompted Kaldwell who had also entered the room. The leader of the KKK shrugged and reached out some kind of document from his coat, handing it to the knife user. “Do you just keep shit like this in your coat all the time? That seems kind of paranoid and/or definitely weird.” Kaldwell shrugged and left the room only to return a few seconds later realising that he kind of had to be here to indulge Kasper’s long monologue and give people further instructions later. The man with the burnt gold hair looked down at the paper, skimming through to pick up details that mattered and filtering everything else that would be irrelevant. Apparently the target was some group called ‘Very Money Inc. Trading Group Firm Guild’, VMITCFG for short. A very memorable name that was by no means a poor business decision. Despite all that nonsense, it was evident that there was definitely money in this company most of which had come from the Pharmaceutical branch. They were apparently working on a drug that cured scarring, go figure. They were also working on what appeared to be a recreational drug that caused the user to envision themselves as a wizard… Well there would be something to potentially invest in the future. Scratching his cheek, the businessman sighed. There was going to be much more work required than he would be up for. Unfortunately now would be a bad time to back out. He had this thing that a lot of men had called a ‘fucking ginormous d-ego’ and pride alone meant he would more than likely end up fulfilling his promise. “So, Kaldwell my new best friend for life, when should we move onwards with this perfectly rational plan?” “As soon as possible though it looks like Kasper is more interested in cutting up bodies. Can’t same I blame him, which can be awfully exciting. Anyway, I’ve set up a meeting on your behalf inside the headquarters of the company. That should give you some easy access, everything afterwards is really up to you.” Bled shrugged, this was going to be an interesting waste of time. Without even bothering to talk with Kasper, the businessman walked out. He would fulfil his side of the mission, the scarred maniac would complete his. Probably… Well it did sound ridiculous when you put it that way. Shut up, this was going to be a good idea looking back ten years from now. |

"Yes...You can follow me now, Dr. Von Wallenstein. You'll be working with Mr. Vohn, subject 79 as he is now known. He has developed some...abnormalities. Your first job will be to understand the process we call "Colourfication", a term we invented here. As you already subjected, Life Return has allowed us to do so, though there have been some draw backs. Perhaps we can test something else. But let us discuss more at the laboratory. You'll have all the information needed there." Signalling the exit, Alive let Kasper make his way out, passing by every one of the people that had gathered there, including Bledsoe who had returned after a short disappearance along with Kaldwell. As far as the doctor knew, there had been some sort of deal discussed between the two, as it was the only logical explanation for not having him inside the cell again. Whether it would benefit him or not, that was something he had to wait and see. Kasper had asked the businessman to stick to their agreement more than once now and the answer was affirmative both times. Things, however, could change at any time as long as large sums of money were involved. Still, Kasper had revealed the whole project on purpose so that Bledsoe would know what they could both gain from this incursion into the KKK group. If he was successful there, they could seize the whole business and earn a large sum of money. "Ah, doctor, let me just remind you that we will be working with Mr. Bledsoe for the time being. He will be back shortly, so don't worry about him. Hopefully he will return safely. And also for the time being, I'll be at my office. If anything is needed, just make sure I know and things will be arranged. For now, enjoy your work." With that said, the man exited the room along with his blue skinned bodyguard and Big Gunnar, who followed right behind. Only after them would Kasper, the twin researchers and Mr. Vohn would leave, leaving Dust to guard the now empty cell. Leading the way, Alice soon brought the little group to the group's laboratory. There were several workers there, all extremely focused on their tasks, whatever they were. He would assume they were researching Mr. Vohn's cells, working on the unexpected alterations they suffered or maybe working on the compound that would allow them to bring colour to objects outside of the Life Return user. Even then, there were still many more fields of investigation, so they could always be researching something else. Yet, the first two seemed to be the most important for the doctor at this point in time. He however, would not be looking at any of them since he first wanted to experience and understand the ability they were using, Life Return. It was then with no surprise that as soon as the small group entered the laboratory, he quickly turned around to face the only person there that seemed to master that ability. He could clearly see that the man was not in a stable condition, for some unknown reason, but still, he was fascinated by him. The possibilities he was about to open were almost making him droll, science was about to open itself to him and he couldn't wait to see it's full splendour. "So tell me, is he capable of displaying the abilities right now? The first step is to understand the ability, see how works and reacts. Only then I can work on what you people are trying to achieve. Shouldn't be hard for me to grasp it's principles after a couple of demonstrations and some reading from the reports you did, right Ms. Pincher? Perhaps I should start with the reports actually, and let the poor man rest a bit. Yes, let's do that. I'll request your sister to come with me, since I believe you have more work to do. And yes, I'm aware she is mute. I do not intend to talk, just someone to help me out with the paperwork. She will be the perfect person. Do not worry." The sisters traded looks, with Alice clearly displaying a disgruntled expression on her face at the sight of having to hand her sister to a person she considered so dangerous. At the same time, he was right about her, she couldn't aid him with the reports right now, as she had to oversee several projects and researches that were being conducted right now by her fellow workers, so in order for Kasper to have someone with him, she had to allow her sister to go. Reluctantly, she ended up signalling Wanda to guide weird doctor to their office, where she kept all their reports, telling her sister at the same time to call someone to bring Kasper's things back to him, since she didn't want him to be walking around almost naked, specially not with that scarred body. Having what he wanted, Kasper followed closely behind the other twin, only stopping once they ere both inside the office. He had must to catch up, much to learn. |

“Welcome, Mr Bledsoe I asusme?” The businessman nodded to the receptionist before being swiftly ushered into a meeting room. It was bland, they were always bland but this was much blander than usual. If that was even possible. Just chairs around a table, the walls decorated with only plain paintings of interesting objects such as plants and more plants. Leaning against the back of his chair, the man yawned and scratched his neck. It appeared that they were making him wait, shockingly some people still thought this tactic worked. Shrugging, Bled grabbed a cigarette from his jacket pocket and lit it. Quickly, a young woman entered the room. “Sir, you can’t smoke in here.” “I’ll stop when whoever I’m supposed to meet arrives.” Bled responded with a smug grin, the lady who was presumably an intern or something like that simply nodded and left the room. Bled wasn’t going to get shafted by some idiots from a company with a dumb name. He just wanted to get this charade done with so he could find a way to snoop around and get the information he needed. The security was a lot less strict than he expected, though this was mostly a relaxed part of the Grand Line where corporate espionage was probably more of a dumb joke people would make in fantasy writing than reality. “Ah, Mr Bledsoe. A pleasure, my name is Gregory Gregoryson Jr. Please, refer to me as Daniel.” A slim man in a suit shook Bled’s hand. “Nice to meet you, please refer to me as Bled. Sorry, may I ask why people call you Daniel?” The slim man smiled, sitting down opposite the businessman. “Of course, my father always wanted a child called Daniel so he called me Daniel. He also wanted to give me an entertaining name so he named me Gregory. His first name was also Norman, so the Jr bit is also a bit of a joke.” “Of course, naturally.” Bled simply smiled and nodded whilst he tried to comprehend the vast amount of bullshit that had just been stuffed into his brain. Kaldwell had instructed Bled that the meeting had been set up in an attempt to build a building that would be funded by both the KKK and the VMITCFG. Of course, this building was absolute bullshit but it was enough to get Bled in since the promise of a lot of potential revenue always caused the sharks to bite. “Shall we get down to business?” “Absolutely. The model your company proposed is not what we envisioned but it’s definitely within a respectable negotiating range. We’re still slightly perplexed as to why a known terrorism group is considering building an orphanage but local government funding would certainly help us improve both out images and there’s certainly money to be made if we were to convert it into a sweatshop at any time.” “Our reasoning isn’t really your concern, though the sweatshop idea is certainly a viable business model. So, please present your counter offer.” Daniel presented Bled with a document which the man with the burnt gold hair flicked through, pretending to read whilst he tried to make sense of the idea that Kaldwell had set him up in a situation where he had to pretend to like homeless children. The numbers that he did pick up weren’t absurd but they could be better.” “These numbers are in an acceptable range though the equity isn’t something that I haven’t been authorised to agree on despite finding it appropriate. Excuse me as I make a den den call with a few people. I might be a while.” Daniel nodded as Bled exited the room, promptly approaching the stairs where the sign ‘Research and Development’ pointed to. He didn’t have too long before Daniel would get suspicious, he had to move fast. |

Once inside, Kasper took his time to dress himself up and check on his things, while Wanda wandered around the closed office, grabbing several papers and books and putting them all into desk. Though, they weren't simply being piled up but rather efficiently categorized, ordered by date and importance, with the ones far to the left being less important and ones to the far right being those he would have to read first. The doctor would find her work quite interesting, even though it was a mundane task. Yet, what was interesting him the most was the fact that she wouldn't speak. Alice had told him she was mute, though, he didn't know how she had developed such condition. If he didn't know, he would say she was a perfectly normal girl, walking around while carrying all sorts of documents and book, as she didn't seem to be any different from her sister, apart form the different hair and eyes colour, but at the same time, he could say while Alice seemed to be more confident on herself and generally tougher, Wanda on the other hand, lacked it and even without talking or really know much about her, he could tell she was shier and softer. "That's enough Wanda, I believe that's all I need for now." His voice was loud enough to be heard but not loud enough to sound intimidation, yet, after hearing him shouting, the girl simply stopped and stood still, slightly shaking to a point where he could clearly see she was expressing one of the oldest emotions in the world, fear. But why would she fear him? At first, it seemed weird to have her like that in front of him, just because he had just lowered a bit his voice, despite being far from being something intimidating, yet, she had completely frozen in place, her face not even showing and her hands grabbing tightly to the papers she was holding, clearly deforming it. There was no reason for that though, Kasper had not done a thing to the girl. Coming closer, he noticed there were tears in her face and her shaking had increased. One step further and there it was, even more muscle spasms. It didn't take him much to understand the pattern there and so, he moved back again to his original position, staring at her as if she was one of his patients back at the marine base he once worked at. He could see it now, quite clearly and he didn't like any bit of it. Not at all. It was actually disgusting, so much, he almost felt like dropping his Life Return research, which for him, was probably one of the hardest things to do, clearly expressing how much anger he now felt because of that girl. "Wanda, speak! Speak again and tell me who did this to you! I understand now, this muteness is no disease but rather a defensive mechanism. The pain, the humiliation, the fear, all those things that were forced upon you are now gone, as I release you from those chains, Wanda. And I will kill him! For you and your sister, who deserve better than this hell-hole. This research is doomed, it can't be done Wanda. You know this, and I believe Alice knows it as well, though there are several things forcing you two here. This however, will end right here. So tell me, Ms. Pincher, who shall I be killing today?" The girl, who had been shaking for the time being suddenly stopped, once she heard Kasper talking. She would take in every word he was saying, making no sound or movement, as if she had been petrified. Deep inside her mind, she was still trying to process how the man had realized all that from just a couple of minutes with her. Who was he? Why was he here? How could he know so much. Confused, she ended up dropping on her knees as soon as the doctor offered himself to relieve her from her demons. But she couldn't believe it, it had been for so long and her sister had tried so much, so hard. No, it couldn't be. besides, the success of this research was their only way out. The man couldn't be right, he simply couldn't. Maybe he was delusional, maybe he had lost his mind. Yet, also deep inside, that light of hope still rested and perhaps, she should trust him, as hard as that could be. After all, she only had her sister, Alice was the only one she could trust. What to do? What to do? "I..I..." Before she could even say a word, she burst into tears, relieving herself from all the pain, all the abuse she had endured through the last months. And yet, while her enemy was clear in her head, she couldn't still speak his name. But Kasper didn't need more. He just wanted her to suppress her fear and rise again as a proud researcher that she once was, just like her sister. That had been his goal, though, what he spoke was the truth. The man who did this would suffer for his doings, heavily. But first, he would have to get his research of the Life Return going. Wanda and Alice would unfortunately, have to wait a little longer. "Cry, dear Wanda, cry as much as you want as your days of suffering are over. This ability will prove me well, and once I understand it, I will make sure your offender will die. You have the heart and the brain, let me then be the sword that brings Kaldwell's life to an end!" Edited by Benjamin Kaito, Feb 2 2015, 02:46 PM.
