As the punch connected, sending Trevelyan flying into a near by wall, Adam only Noticed that his arm was now missing and was all the floor in a pool of blood, grunting to him self, his skin returned to normal colour, interacting that the haki around his body was no longer protecting him, he reached out to get a touch and rammed the fire touch into his wounded arm socket to seal the wound. The pain shoot down his chest as the smell of burning flesh could be smelt in the air. throwing the touch to the ground.

Turning around, his eyes shrunk as the sudden feeling of weakness poured a pun him, as the sound of clicking cuffs locked onto his wrist, he knew exactly what happened as he swung around to defend him self, but it was too late, as the cold steel blades of cynthias fingers sliced into Adams chest coursing him to fall back, but just as he seemed to be falling to the ground he used what left of his strength to stay on his feet, veins bulging out of his neck, chest and arm, "I-I will not fall...mon" Adam seemed more determined to keep fighting more then ever, "Cy- Cynthia is mine, o-o-only I know her true f-feelings...m-mon" his speeches seemed to of weakened which was a sign that he was struggling, bearly standing up her self, Cynthia looked towards Adam with a sad but stern expression on her face "Adam...".

The hall end silent, only the sound of falling debris from the ceiling and walls could be heard, that was until the sound of a creaking door was heard soon fallowed by the sound of walking heels "Well, it sure went down in here didn't it" the sound of heels came from no other then Annabel, but this time, she seemed to be wearing a marine coat other her shoulders whiles carrying a platypus in her arms, her gaze looked a pun Adam, giving him a smirk then looked over at the others "As some of you might of guessed by now, I was working as an under cover marine, you see we suspected the man, Mr.Noble, to be involved in crimes dealing in drug and human slave trades, unfortunately, we couldn't do him for slaving off humans, but if we could get him dealing drugs, we could, but kidnapping is close enough" Still standing in the same place Adam could only turn his head to look at Annabel "I'll kill you for this..." Annabell turned and stamped her hells to the ground "try it if you dear Adam! this place will be surrounded by marines in seconds, it only a matter of time before you are hanged up in chains...heh, but by the looks of things you already seem to be prepared" smriking to her self as she eyes of the seastone cuffs on Adams wrists.

The combination worked well, Adam's arm was severed, spiraling off towards the floor. Adam, apparently still having his wits about him, cauterized the wound, preventing death from massive blood loss, courtesy of Trevelyan's successful amputation operation. Any success he had achieved was washed away a moment later as the cuff slammed closed and Cynthia's fingers dug bloody furrows in his chest.

Despite all the punishment, Adam somehow managed to stay standing, much to Isao's consternation. He'd been hoping that the combined assault would crush Adam, laying him low and allowing for a rather problem free exodus from the island. As Adam spoke, Isao could only snort mentally in derision. "You'll fall, the cuffs and those injuries will make sure of it, and Cynthia's true feelings are hers alone, plus she belongs 'to' no one, not you and certainly not me."

There would have been more, but the door creaked it's way open, revealing Annabel, draped in marine finery and holding her platypus-companion-giant-thing. Her explanation a moment later, and her taunting of Adam confirmed Isao's suspicions of her, also that she had revealed herself meant that there couldn't be much time left before the worst case scenario showed up. "So I see that everything about you does make sense in the end. I can see how the marines would want to weed out some self inflated nobleman, especially if the man behind this little operation is Bain."

As he leaned on Cynthia's shoulder, Isao inclined his head towards Trevelyan, while making sure Cynthia was still included in the conversation. "You see Trev, the marine captain this woman works for is a rather shining example of single minded devotion to a goal, namely bringing down his target, whoever they happen to be. To the best of my knowledge Cynthia and I are still on his list after he made an assumption about our involvement with a drug ring a while back. If he's coming here, then we're all in trouble, well you might not be, but I really don't know."

Turning to Annabel, Isao cocked his head in a questioning manner. "I take it that Bain himself is indeed on the way, likely to collect Adam there, confirm Nobel's wrongdoing, and take us all in as a bonus. That's one of the reasons you helped isn't it? I know you might have genuine feelings about this, but it was also part of your job to neutralize Adam, and you guessed that we'd do it for you. I do appreciate the help you gave us, but please understand that I'm still getting Cynthia out of here, marine contingent and Bain or no."

Turning to Trevelyan again, Isao noted how different the man looked, more like Isao had imagined he might have in his past. Standing taller, stronger, and with a look in his eye that told of danger, and a sure statement that he shouldn't be trifled with."Trevelyan, I owe you a debt that I likely cannot ever repay you, but I would like to offer you passage on our ship to points beyond, as this island is very likely to no longer be hospitable to either of us."

Bending his knees, the orange hair pushed up using the wall as support. He swayed back and fort for a moment before getting his footing once more. He patted his stomach, the black coloring no longer underneath his clothing. He let out a heavy sigh, wiping the small amount of blood from his mouth. In retrospect, Trevelyan hadn't done much fighting at all. He began dusting off his arms, followed by his chest. He made sure to look back up with his rather bored expression at the events that were unfolding. However, there was a sort of spark in his eye that wasn't present before. It seemed there was a bit of excitement that had sparked something, causing Trevelyan's face to seem...lighter. In any case, he took the opportunity to reach into his pocket and pull out his flask. He unscrewed the top, placing the open top to his mouth and slowly allowing the fluid to enter his mouth.

He let out a satisfied 'ah' a moment later. In this time, he was still paying close attention to what was going on. Trevelyan's eyes were quite focused upon Adam who seemed to be defeated, though he was still standing. Trevelyan had successfully lobbed off the man's arm. In addition, the attack by Cynthia and Isao seemed to have done its job. The man's deep brown eyes inspected the body which lay defeated. His eyes narrowing upon it, it was still kinda weird just how much he cared for Cynthia....mon. Trevelyan's head shifted to the left as he noted another door opening from the left. Walking through it was none other than Annabel. Trevelyan kept a calm expression as she entered, not saying much as she did. He allowed himself to cap his flask, returning it to his pocket. The woman spoke, it seemed her plans were now unfolding; well, at least she was talking about it. Trevelyan could sense something from her, at least that was good. He watched the small exchange of words between her and Adam; the man was surely defeated. Though, the part about marines didn't seem too good.

His thoughts were interrupted shortly as his eyes trailed over towards Isao, his voice calling to him. The orange hair listened to what the other man had to say; these two had now looked pretty beaten up. He let out a "I see", in response to what he had said. He then simply listened as Isao engaged in conversation with the woman. It seemed this Bain was someone from their past that Trevelyan didn't know about. It made sense though, pirates always had someone after them. A moment later, it seemed his attention was turned back towards Isao. The man was thanking him for whatever it is he had done. He waved his hand at him, suggesting to think nothing of it. However, he offered him passage on his ship. "I suppose the marines would swarm in soon enough. It would be difficult upon the monastery if they were known to harbor a criminal. I also suppose it'd be difficult going back due to venturing here....mmm..mmmm..mmm..yes". He spoke as he scratched his goatee. Looking back towards them he let out a soft sigh. He really had no where else to go and it seemed like he had to get out of here quickly.

With that, he made his way forward, kicking up the bag of gold with his right foot. He took it in hand and paced it near his chest, in his hoodie. He then slid his hands into his pockets before walking over to the two. He turned to his left upon seeing Annabel. "Oi, Annabel, make sure they don't do anything to the monastery, alright? You and I both know they had offered us nothing but kindness. It also seems this is where we will part...unless you intend on stopping me? Hehehe". He lightly chuckled before extending his hand towards the two. He wasn't sure if either one of them could walk but he supposed he could carry one on his back if need be. "You two look like a mess", he said to them half jokingly. "I'll take us to your ship, where is it anyway? And how the hell are we suppose to get out of here with marines swarming this place?". Trevelyan looked up for just a moment, seemingly thinking. He looked down at Isao once more. "Though I suppose it'll be alright so long as there isn't anyone higher than a Vice Admiral amongst them..". He said nonchalantly.

Listening to Isao speaking, her thoughts about him got more curious by the second, he really didn't seem like a pirate at all, he cared for his comrades, was he really involved in the drugs dealings back in Shimotsuki Village, for some reason she didn't want to believe it, after all, she did help him and his comrades, shaking her head she couldn't believe what she was thinking as she looked at Isao with a stern gaze "Commander Bain is on his way, but himself and the others wont be here for ten minutes yet" smiling to her self she continued to speak but now in a more flirtatious way as she walked towards Isao "you're a smart one arnt you? Isao Hinogami, age eighteen, bounty of 4,000,000 beli" she continued to walk towards him until they where face to face, her presence didn't give a threatening feeling like before in fact, it felt warm and soft "but you're right, I do have genuine feelings" she then slowly leaned in and gave Isao a kiss on the cheek before turning around whiles flicking her hair to the side.

Cynthia could only raise her eyebrow in disgust whiles thinking to her self, what did I just witness? "You're also right about my job, but the other part of my job is to protect the innocent, that's why I'm giving you a head start, get out of here before I change my mind" she continued to walk towards Adam as she pulled out some seastone chains and started to wrap it around him, "oh and you don't need to worry, my commander my be curl to you pirates, but he isn't to people that arnt involved in crime" Annabel kneeled down to continued to tie adam up, Adam didn't really resist as he sat on the floor in a calm manner, he did keep his eyes on Cynthia before shouting out "Cynthia! Are you happy!?" Cynthia looked over at Adam only to give him a smile and started to walk away with Isao towards the hall door, "I see, then so be it" "Well I hope you're happy for now Adam because you're going to spend along time at impel down" Adam just looked up at Annabel with a stern look on his face "I do not care, I have no longer need to be else where" Annabel simply chuckled to her self and stop up as she watched the others walk away "well, as long as you don't resist"

Meanwhiles out at sea

"Land ahoy!!" the marines around the ship ran around, all getting ready to march on to land, the Lieutenant of the ship ran with a note in his hands as he ran into the office, "Commander, we are near to land" "good, ready to make land" "yes sir!" standing up, Bain made way to the front of the ship and looked towards the island "this time there will be no escape"

Isao grew more worried by the minute, then felt that worry become relative relief as Annabel confirmed that while Bain was going to show up, it would be at least ten minutes before he'd arrive. Also it was likely that he expected his agent to hold them all there, but she'd been lenient in the past, and she confirmed it again , though she was speaking oddly towards Isao. He couldn't really back up as she sidled closer and then kissed him, causing his face to flush bright red. Isao felt so hot and confused he was wondering if his head was starting to steam, until Cynthia gave him a look of disgust and Annabel confirmed that she was giving them a head start.

Looking at the Marine, Isao nodded "Thanks Annabel, Bain won't hear a damn thing from us, and if he asks, just say that I figured out your fruit and had you at a disadvantage, technically true after all." Then he turned to Trevelyan, "If we're going to the ship, it's down in the main port, central town docks, maybe ten minutes walk from the monastery." As Cynthia supported him and they limped out of the hall following Trevelyan, Isao looked at her, still seeing that disgusted look. "Oh come on Cynthia, I didn't know she was gonna kiss me! It's not like I like her or anything, she's a marine! it's her job to stalk people like us and arrest us, even if she's being nice about it this time she might not be in the future." "Even if she was beautiful," Isao added mentally.

As they all wended their ways through the halls and eventually made their way to the exterior of the mountain, Isao kept pondering just how easy it might be to get past Bain. The man was a fruit user, and relentless in his pursuit of objectives, but it wasn't all that likely that he'd be able to see them in the trees or if they snuck through town. If they waited till he had made it up to the fortress before they cast off, they'd have at least ten minutes to leave port before he could mount pursuit.

Gazing down towards the port, Isao could see the white sails, emblazoned with a blue seagull, signifying that the marines were approaching the docks, and fast. "Well Trevelyan, it looks like our friends the seagulls are just about to put in to port, got any plans for getting down to the town past them?"

The orange haired individual looked towards Annabel as she went ahead and got closer to Isao. He took the time to pull out yet another flask from his side coat pocket, closing his eyes he took a swig of it once more; unscrewing the cap first properly. A moment passed by and he was now simply listening, chugging down the liquid. He let out a refreshed 'Ah' as he brought it down, capping it once more. The metallic silver flask returning to its place within Trevelyan's coat pocket. He simply opened his eyes again as Isao got the small peck, these matters were private after all. He simply looked at Isao's red face and gave him a smirk; looking a bit less bored now. However, he still paid close attention to Annabel and the man named Adam. His eyes followed Anabel as she made her way to Adam; carefully inspecting her. He watched as she wrapped the man up in chains, he didn't even seem to protest that much. Trevelyan looked down towards the man's hand, it really must have been something to lose something like that; he sighed. He hoped the man wouldn't bleed out in that time. "You should probably cover his wound with something. If you allow it to keep bleeding, he may just end up dying. In addition, that other lad was left in pretty bad shape too back in the other room; I'd go check on him too if I were you Annabel". Trevelyan slightly lectured her. However, he was always serious when it came to people's lives; they were bleeding out after all.

In any case, the formerly named revolutionary would go ahead and look towards the two whom he was apparently escaping with. He let out a sigh, they seemed to be in rough shape. In any case, Trevelyan turned, sliding his left hand into his pocket and leaving one hand lightly clenched. "Anyway, I suppose we should head out. Thank you in advance Annabel, It was nice seeing you within the monastary. It is my hope that we will meet again some day". He gave her a wave as he continued to walk. He made sure to keep doors open for Cynthia and Isao as they limped their way towards the doors. He kept himself rather nonchalant the entire time. Trevelyan would look back at the two occasionally, making sure that they were alright. If his memory served, which it did, he would be weaving out of the area soon enough. They kept walking until they saw the doors that were wide open. Trevelyan's foot steps echoed throughout as they made it outside of the large castle like fortress.

Trevelyan's eyes narrowed however, in the distance he had also seen the same ships that were sailing for them. If they wanted to escape, they had best do it now. However, it also seemed to be a problem that the marine ships were closing in quickly; rather unfortunate really. The man inspected the ships which bore the blue seagull flags, it was definitely the marines. Trevelyan let out another sigh, turning to the two as he scratched his head. He opened them a moment later to see Isao who seemed a bit concerned. He asked if Trevelyan had any ideas. Trev looked back at the ship, still scratching his head. "Mmmm I suppose I could hold them off for you two to escape. That seems like a good last resort plan if you asked me. For better situations, we might want to direct their attention away from whatever ship we have. They'll probably manually search the ships for stowaways like us though.". The man began scratching his goatee, moving his hand down from his head; still inspecting the ship. "I also suppose that we could hide or steal one of the ships. They'll be firing at us anyway...if someone could theoretically move the ship to the back of the island, we could sail around it, using it for cover. They'd most likely try to circle around two ways to catch us. However, if we had some way to break off...we could divide their forces..".

He looked back at the two of them, he had probably said a bit too much. He blinked a few times, lowering his hand. He made a slight gesture and shrugged his shoulders. "I suppose something like that would work really. Could always combine the plans, I'll distract and hold them off. You two get the ship ready, then we go ahead and sail. As much as I don't mind getting captured, there seems to be a promise I have to fulfill as of yet heh". He let out before turning back once more to the ships before looking back towards the others. "So..what do you two wish to do?". He said to them. He wasn't entirely sure, Trevelyan simply stood in his casual stance; ready for anything. However, it seemed his facial features were slightly more serious. He really did have a knack for military tactic. However, he knew his plans weren't always the best. As such, he looked towards the two with his brown eyes. For now, they would be the advisers for him in this plan. His eyes shifted to Cynthia as well. "This may be an inopportune time...but you are alright yes? Nothing more you wish to do? That must have been difficult for you..I am sorry. However, if there is anything you wish to get done now...I'd suggest you take care of it. If you are content with leaving things the way they are...I say we should make haste". He said looking at her with more serious eyes.

Just before Trevelyan walked out of the hall Annabel replied to him "You mean Sylvander? unfortunately the guy died, he suffered blood loss pretty badly, but ill try to recover those that are simply injured the best I can" she then turned back towards Adam as the group left her alone with the now weakened and defeated Adam. Walking out of the wall, Cynthia noticed a door open to one of the smaller rooms, peeking inside she would notice her weapons there "wait Isao! Viktoria and Ilse are in there" resting Isao agents a wall she managed to make her way into the room to get her weapons "I couldn't leave you guys here" hugging them slightly she attached then to her side with some rope and returned to Isao, making their way out of the dreaded castle that once was her prison.

Reaching the out side of the castle she was able to see the white flags of the marines, it seem time was agents them, but it seemed that Trevelyan was already making some plans, looking at Trevelyan she knew he was strong, stronger then Adam maybe? she didn't really know, but he seemed to have the confidence to use him self as a distraction. there was one thing she didn't get though, why was he helping us in the first place? was he wanted as well? if so, I guess it was a good thing to stay as a group then fight alone.

Trevelyan then looked right at Cynthia, asking her if she was ready to leave and if she was alright? looking back slightly, she knew leaving this place meant that she could finally leave the past behind her and she no longer had to run away from it anymore, but, she couldn't help but feel sad, even though Adam acted the way he did, she knew that all this time he was in the same boat as she was, back when she was sold to Mr.Noble, it was him that kept her strong all those years, if it wasn't for him, she would of ended her life years ago, but she guessed that day when she managed to escape because of that man, he didn't do so well and finally lost his mind.

Sighing softly as she looked back at Trevelyan, she knew that going back Adam would only course him more grief and it was time to go our separate way and leave the past behind, now that Mr.Noble is gone she hoped Adam would do the same, "there is, one thing before we go, that I must do", letting go of Isao she turned to face the castle and took in a deep breath and yelled at the top of her voice "ADAM!!! LIVE ON!!! WE'RE BOTH FREEE NOW!!!" her voice echoed though the walls just managing to reach Adam, he turned slightly and smiled warmly "yes, yes we are...mon". Turning back to Isao and Trevelyan, she smiled a bit whiles gripping the handle of her swords, "Lets get out of here, Trevelyan, Lets go with both plans, I believe you're strong enough to take on one ship of marines, If Adam could take them on and you two managed to fight each other then I'm sure you taking the task of distracting them wouldn't be that hard, Isao, you and my self shall run to the boat and get it ready, once on the boat we'll set sail behind the island, we'll meet south of the island, is every one alright with this?" the tone of her voice differently changed, even though she was battered and weakened, her voice seemed strong, she was differently ready to leave.

Listening to the plans, Isao couldn't think of any better options at the moment. It made tactical sense for the superior strength, A.K.A Trevelyan, to distract and engage the numerically superior, but weaker force, while the injured element of their own group ensured the escape route was secure and ready. That way, neither Cynthia, nor Isao, would encounter Bain, and be forced to deal with his Devil Fruit powers and his "relentless determination" in their weakened state. "Allright Trevelyan, much as I hate to admit it, I can't think of a better way than what you've both proposed, so let's go with it. We'll see you on the far side of the island, best of luck, and see you soon."

Helping Cynthia along, Isao began their descent, taking the slope in stride as the pair moved at a stuttering run down towards the town below. The descent was easy enough, just the odd cactus or rock outcropping to duck behind as they approached the outskirts of the town. Once they actually made it to a building, Isao felt a little more secure, able to help Cynthia along more swiftly and in better cover. As he'd seen from above, the marine vessel wasn't yet at dock, and it's hordes of soldiers were still confined to the ship. This was a tremendous stroke of luck, as it meant they didn't have to skulk about in dusty houses to avoid detection.

As they neared the docks, Isao judged that they had maybe a few minutes before the marines put in to the dock opposite them, and they weren't exactly shooting already, which meant they weren't all that suspicious, probably expecting all of their targets up in the castle still. "Okay Cyn, lets take this last little bit nonchalantly and slow, don't want to give them an excuse to shoot up before we get on the ship by making it look like we're in a panic and trying to escape."

Doing his best to appear calm, Isao helped Cynthia along the dock to the ship with only minimal support, attempting to appear as though they were just another pair of travelers boarding a ship, not pirates fleeing a soon to be marine infested island. Once they made it aboard, Isao noted the damage that the damn frog had done to their deck, and how it might be suspicious to the marines, but that was unavoidable at this point. He was also thankful for small miracles that they didn't have a flag flying at the moment, saving them from immediate identification, as long as the marines weren't looking at them right now.

Leaving Cynthia at the wheel, Isao went to the dock and untied the mooring lines, throwing them back aboard, and then shoving the ship off from the dock, jumping aboard as they turned out into the harbor. If they were lucky, the marines might just not stop them, but they couldn't count on it. "Okay Cynthia, let's ease it out, no sudden movements. If we're lucky they won't stop us, they expect us to to still be up in that damn castle." Even as he said this though, Isao brought out the clothes he had retrieved from belowdecks, putting on a hoodie and handing Cynthia a robe and a hat, all the better to deter prying eyes.

The orange hair gave a simple nod to Cynthia as she went ahead and confirmed the plan. He turned to Isao next who seemed to also be in favor of this plan. "Alright, it seems like we have this settled then". Trevelyan spoke in his lower voice. He took out his flask once more, yes he felt quite thirsty. Hell, his stomach still sorta felt a tad bit bruised from that last hit. It seemed to be a pain that he was going to have to fight these vessels that were coming now. He allowed himself to twist the cap off with his left hand. With his right, he reached into his pocket, he pulled out a small grey box with a marine logo on it. Flipping it open, he pulled one of the stick upwards, tugging on it with his index and thumb. He manged to pull it out, placing it in his mouth. He closed the box and then slide it back into his pocket. Of course this was getting a bit lengthy by now, he nodded over to Cynthia and Isao, signaling that they could leave at any point. Reaching into his hoodie pocket, he pulled out a lighter. He didn't even recall where he got this thing from anyway.

His hand also trailed over the sack of loot he had picked up for himself; yeah that was sure a big chunk of cash. Anyway, flicking it open with his wrist, the metallic cap easily flipped back. Trevelyan twisted the mechanism with his thumb, lighting the fire on top of the small metallic lighter. He brought it up to the cigarette and let it light, covering the area with the hand which held the flask. He puffed on it until the cigarette became lit; an orange glow lighting from it. He simply flicked the lighter shut, a click accompanying it. Bringing his two fingers to his mouth, he held the cigarette in the V shape. Taking a puff, he exhaled the smoke which slowly rose from his mouth. He took a moment, looking out at the ship that was coming towards them. With his left hand, he brought the flask up to his mouth and began to let the fluid flow down his throat. "Ah", he commented on the taste; capping it and placing it back into his pocket. The ex-revolutionary made sure to continue to take a few puff of his cigarette. However, he was now walking up towards the harbor. He took a few more puffs and then kicked off the ground; disappearing as he made ten swift kicks to them.

A moment later, he was on the docks, man was this annoying. Trevelyan inhaled one last time, allowing the smoke to fill his lungs. He then removed the cigarette from his mouth, closing his eyes. Opening the side of his mouth, he let the exaggerated amount of smoke loose from his oral cavity; it was accompanied with a sigh. The man flicked the lit stick near his feet, putting it out with his sandals as he looked towards the fleet. His eyes were now open, as he had them closed to take in that last puff. Pushing off his feet, he leapt down into the water. He began to swim down through the ocean of where the ship were sailing above. The advantage of him being under water was that it would be a bit more difficult to see him. Not to mention, he didn't have a devil fruit. The orange hair began moving his arms and kicking his arms gracefully, propelling himself forward. He eventually made it towards one of the ships. Treading water under the surface, he looked up toward one of the ships. Bubbles escaping his mouth. He allowed himself to sink a bit more before pushed quickly off the ground with all of his might. The huge amount of strength caused him to propel upwards; he had now COMEUPOUTDAWAHTA (played throughout this entire post ::nod:: ).

Trevelyan now was glistening as the water now was pushing up all around him. Grasping one of the ropes on the sides, he swung up towards one of the ships. Flipping, he made his way towards the middle. Suddenly, the marines were alerted. The commanding officer turning, who the hell was this? "Hello". Trevelyan said, it was kinda weird. The marines instantly pulled out their guns and aimed it towards him. Lucky for Trevelyan, some of the ships were near one another. He took a moment, didn't seem like he was going to do something. However, his facial expression shifted a bit. "Ah.....Ah....Ahhh....Ahhh....CHOO!". He sneezed rather loudly. A sudden wave depolarized through the air and began to push all around the marines. All the mook level marines would be now have fallen, even those attempting to keep the ship running. Trevelyan would use this to cause a ruckus. This is where things got more interesting. There was an explosion that rocketed through one of the ships. It seemed like the other marines were now attacking the ship; anything to eliminate pirates right?

Trevelyan began to engage in combat with the commanding officer of this fleet, there were a few in total. The spatula to his haki began to clash, however, he had easily dealt with him as he dealt with Adam, he was nowhere near the man's level; probably a commander or captain...maybe? Trevelyan was able to avoid the man's punch, his spatula able to cut tiered materials. The man had actually punched Trevelyan in the gut, however, he twisted his body..hardening it. The black coating along with the money blocked most of the attack; being strong and metallic. Trevelyan took advantage of this to simply cut the man down, his arm and a bit more of his body. Understandably, he couldn't deal with Trevelyan's will. It was still a fierce battle though. The man understandably didn't have a devil fruit. However, he did indeed have Rokushiki. He utilized it with Rankakyu and other maneuvers. Trevelyan simply dodged him for as long as he could. Explosions rocked the ship as the man was attacking with his full furry. However, the initial hit was enough to cause him to easily bleed out; he had fallen quite readily. Trevelyan sighed, making his way to the other ship.

He continued this pattern, utilizing his haki to subdue the weaker members and fighting the others with his combined haki abilities. If he couldn't take on an opponent or there were too many; he made his way into the ship. Mainly, he would try to sabotage it from the inside; attempting to taking out their machinery, or engines. There was a lot of running around, jumping out of windows to retreat into the water. He made his way into other ships. However, they were quickly catching wind and there were far too many ships. In addition, Trevelyan himself could only defeat or even do battle with Captain or commander level classes. The man continued to find it difficult to defeat these men. He got through a few ships until it was no longer fee-sable. He was growing weary and tired. Some of the ships had been destroyed, mainly due to the barrage of fire from the other marine ships. This would have caused a huge amount of causalities as Trevelyan only intended to knock out the others... oh well...this was war after all.

The now seemingly labeled pirate or revolutionary would swim his way out towards the boarder. It seemed perhaps by now they may have done the same with the marines. Trevelyan simply made sure to try and stall and take out as much as he could. He arrived at the harbor however, ready to fight some more. He kept loose on his feet, ready to push himself back at a moments notice. He was breathing heavily, now covered in some blood, some bruises here and there, and was all wet from his swimming. His hair hung loosely to him now that it was wet. Trevelyan simply brushed it back, running his hands through it. He let out another breather, he had done quite the amount of fighting. He hoped to lure the marines back slowly as he pushed back to the southern end of the island, further dividing their forces. He didn't mind fighting along the way. However, by now, those two should have been close to trying to actually get their job done. For now, the man was pushing back. If he had met more resistance, he would continue to fight. However, due to his haki, hopefully a great deal of the soldiers would have been knocked out...who knows? At least..he was glistenin' ::sparkly::

(OOC: Arms Haki, Conq Haki, Obs, were utilized probably Steel Shred too. )

With the assistance of Isao,. they both managed to claim down the sandy hills pass the cactus's and ruined buildings, it all felt kind of lonely, Cynthia never really had a chance to look at this part of the island since she was out cold at the time, but the time to observe the area wasn't now, both her self and Isao needed to get to their boat as soon as possible, Isao started to speak, advising to keep down and try our best to sneak to the boat "of course" she said silently as she followed Isao to the boat.

Looking as casual as possible, both Isao and Cynthia walked aboard the ship, trying her best to not look back at the marine ship as they make their way to the island, once on the boat, Cynthia looked around "what happened?" the boat was completely wrecked, still useable, but it seemed that a fight broke out, looking up at Isao, she assumed he knew about it, since he didn't really look surprised about it, watching Isao as he started to run about and getting the ship ready, Cynthia leaned agents the wheel and prepared her self to stand up once more.

Nodding and agreeing with Isao, she took the robes and slide into them quickly, with the rags and other clothing's still on under then, there was no time to be tidy, whiles she heaved her self up and to a grip at the wheel, slowly taking them out of the docks and gently around the cost, sailing slowly towards the back of the island, "I hope Trevelyan gets back safe"

Meanwhile back at the marine ships

"sir sir, We're under attack!" "what?!" storming out of his office Bain looked out only to see one ship after another being attacked, but by what? it soon came clear to him once a hooded man jumped onto his ship, knocking out everyone with a strange wave of energy, it even brung him self stumbling a bit, at first he didn't recognise the hooded man until he saw the orange hair and the spatula, Grunting to him self, he managed to stand up right as he spoke in a deep strong voice "Trevelyan D. Devereux, revolutionary worth 50,000,000 Beli, What are you doing around these parts?"

Bain knew that he wasn't strong enough to face the orange haired man, he wasn't stupid, but he also wasn't going to allow this man to just walk over his ships like a play thing "Are you the reason for the criminal activity of this island?" Brown haird man stood his ground, even though he was out matched, his will was strong and no matter how strong his enemy was, he wasn't going to let a criminal push him around.

As they pulled out into the harbor, the need for complete secrecy evaporated as Trevelyan popped out of the water and began a rather direct method of distracting the marines aboard all of the vessels, rendering them unconscious through use of that weird power he had used back in the castle. This had the happy effect of making sure that there was absolutely no active resistance to their passage out of the bay.

Noticing Cynthia's inquiry about the ship, Isao momentarily went from relieved to nervous again. "Oh...that, heh yeah umm that wasn't my fault. That frog guy with those bounty hunters kinda decided to do a little breaking and entering at Lei's behest, specifically the breaking part. I'm confident we can get that fixed right up at the next port of call." Seeing that the answer had taken care of her concerns, Isao set about getting the rigging set and the sails filled, propelling them along past the marine vessels as they began to lose control.

Seeing a potential problem ahead, Isao called out from the middle of the ship."Cynthia, that marine ship Trevelyan disabled, the one dead ahead, it looks like it's veering to the left, lets aim for the right side and the opening to get out of the bay." Feeling the boat turn, Isao lept aloft, swinging from the ropes and using his body weight to pull the sails tighter, catching the wind as they swept by the ship and into open waters.

As they cleared the entrance to the main anchorage of Cactus Island, Isao tugged harder on the lines, coaxing enough speed from the sails to speed them towards the rim of the Island. "Okay that should be enough speed to get us safely to the far side of the Island. I'm going to head below and dig out the medical supplies, we could both do with some patching up. Feel free to shout if anything comes up or if you need me, I'll be back in about a minute." Heading below, Isao made his way to the cabinets that held all of the supplies that the ship held. Getting out bandages and antiseptic, Isao made his way up towards the upper deck, arms full of all the things that would be needed to patch up Cynthia and himself.

The orange hair was now pulling his hair back, twisting it to get the excessive water out of it. He didn't seem too phased by the impending marines, his eyes showing the same nonchalant expression. The man simply stood, wringing his hair. A moment later, he had taken off his hoodie and began to twist it, The force was enough to squeeze a great deal of water from it. He put it back on, albeit being damp, it was still dry enough for him to wear. He then took off his shorts, leaving on the boxers. Gripping both sides, he squeezed it into a helical formation, making sure the water was all squeezed out. A moment later, he had placed them back on again, looking a bit drier. He looked up, his brown eyes gazing upwards as he heard a voice. He cleared his throat, unsure of what to make of it. He was looking towards the man who was most likely the commanding officer here. Trevelyan eye'd his expression, his hands now placed at his sides. He listened as the man shouted towards him.

With his right hand, he placed it into his coat's left pocket. Sighing, he took out the now mangled and wet box. "Shit..". He said to himself as he popped open the box, taking out of the more 'dried' sticks'. It seemed like they were really wrangled and wet. He made sure that the items that he was holding were on the ground. Only after he finished would he grasp them and place them back into his clothing. Sighing, he closed his eyes, taking out his light and attempting to light one. However, as much as he tried, nothing came of it. "Dammit...". He spoke to himself as he tossed it aside. He looked up at the man who shouted at him again. Trevelyan looked as bored as ever as he stared up at the marine. His eyes fell upon the other ships that were on fire or the marines that had died with the large explosions. He also had to battle quite a few higher ranking officers while he was aboard those ships. It caused him to feel a bit of exhaustion, but it wasn't anything he couldn't really handle.

"Ah, I was just doing a deed as a monk. Every saint as the past...was it?". He said to the man as he chuckled. He reached into his pocket and pulled out the metallic flask again. He unscrewed the cap and brought it to his lips. The moment he angled it upwards, he noticed nothing was flowing out. "Ugh.." He softly said letting out a rather exaggerated sigh. He capped the flask and placed it back into his pocket. It seemed the man was wondering if he was responsible for all of this. His eyes narrowed, looking towards the man. Trevelyan's face shifted, you could tell he was thinking something. In his mind, he pictured the monastery. He didn't want anyone there to be persecuted. He smirked as his eyes became a bit wider, he turned to his right and spat out on the ground. "Yeah, I'm responsible for the entire shit that's happened to this island. It's kind of a pain in the ass you guys found out. I was hoping I could use this island as a revolutionary base, take it over, then start attacking that piece of shit we call a government.". He smirked as he began adding some hand motions as he spoke.

"I figured if I let in all the criminal activity while holding myself in the monastery, it'd be alright. There was a revolutionary war here a bit ago if I do recall. I wanted to light that fire again, but fires can be expensive. Seems like I needed some cash and crime was the fastest way to that". He then did something that could only be described as a 'kanye shrug'. "Whatever I suppose, you guys figured it out. Those useless monastery guys and this island ain't worth shit to me now...so yeah, I hope that answers your question". He said as he turned around, giving a final wave to the marine crew to add to his show. "Anyway, I'm out". He then disappeared from view, utilizing a Soru to get to the place where they had planned to meet up. Trevelyan was now hopping around in trees and other such areas in a forest-like area as well. He began to spring from one to another, hands in his pockets. Looking to his left, he saw the ship that was a bit beaten up. In addition, it seemed to have the two aboard; he noted it as he narrowed his eyes. Leaping from tree to tree, he eventually made his way through the clearing. He rushed forward, picking up speed as the ship was sailing near the coastline. He proceeded to leap into the water, keeping his hands clasped and out in front of him. It was like he was attempting to spear the water with his hands. As he pushed into the sea, his body was once again submerged in the ocean. He began swimming vigorously as he made his way towards the ship.

With one powerful stroke he pushed his way upwards. The pushing of his feet made sure he could propel himself upwards. A moment later, he was pushing out of the water; rocketing his way up. Trevelyan grasped the edge of the ship with one hand, his fingers could be seen towards the edge. He lifted himself up, anchoring himself with his legs first. He placed another hand on the top of the ship and pulled himself up, pushing with his legs. He did a semi flip as he arrived. He pulled his hair back looking at the other two. "Yo". He said to them as he looked back at the potential ships trailing them. He looked back to see Cynthia on the top floor only. "I assume one of you knows how to navigate this ship huh?", he said; half serious about the question. He began to walk forward past Cynthia until he was facing a more eastward direction. "We should head there. I remember the monastery monks use to sail out there for shelter. They said there was an island they could hide upon in case their home was ravaged upon; it was the escape plan from the frequent attacks a few months ago". He looked back, "So, what do you think? This is your ship and your crew after all". He said to Cynthia as he looked towards her.

Raising an eyebrow to the orange mans reply, he watched him as he chuckled lightly to himself whiles taking out a metallic flask, watching the mans disappointment, Bain stood there, a smirk appeared on Trevelyan's face while spitting on the deck of the ship, he then listened to Trevelyan as he admitted to crimes on the Island and then started to insult the very government Bain worked for, Bain didn't really have anything to say, besides, why trust a mans word with his reputation, Trevelyan continued to talk about how expensive it was re-lighting the war that happened here and that he had no more use for staying here now, Bain simply watched him with a stern glare, watching as he disappeared from their sights. turning to one of the ensigns, Bain ordered them to get to shore as soon as possible as the ship started to get closer to the island.

About half an hour later Bain met up with Annabel at the front entrance of the castle as marines carried Adam away in chains towards the ship, "give me a report" with the platypus on her shoulder she flicked her snow like hair to the side as she spoke out in a respecting but professional way towards her commander "Unfortunately, we cant get anything from the former Commodore named jack Kingston also known as, Mr.Noble, he was murdered by Adam" "That is unfortunate, continuer" Annabel took out a small note book as she then started to read out names "the party's involved are as followed, Adam Fury, he was apparently a bounty hunter that was brought up by Mr.Noble, or more to the point, a slave, though the plan to kidnap the victim known as, Cynthia Valentine, was Mr.Nobles idea, Adam also used it to take Cynthia for him self, which is why he eventually killed Mr.Noble" "Cynthia Valentine?" Bain took out a load of posters from his inner pocked and flipped threw them until he got to Cynthias "she is only worth 2,500,000 beli, what connections did she have with them?" she then looked up with a stern look "she was a slave of Mr.Nobles, sir" sighing deeply to him self he waved his hand to continue as he took out a cigar and slid it into his mouth, "there was another woman involved by the name of Sam Wright, she assisted in the fight in the monastery and the castle until booted out, but haven't seen her since then" "it seems to convinrent that they all popped up here on this island" "the other members involved was a man name Isao Hinogami, He apparently arrived on the island with Cynthia to optain supplies and when the kidnapping happened, he went off to rescuer his crewmate" Lighing up his cigar, he flipped to the poster of Isao whiles breathing smoke onto it "I see, then what about Trevelyan D. Devereux" shutting her book she simply smiled and looked up at Bain "he was hiding out here the whole time, it was simply coincidence that he got involved with the situation".

Bain bit softly on his cigar as he smirked to himself "heh, I didn't know that man was so soft" with a cruiours glaze Annabel simply looked at the man "Don't worry about it, we'll make camp here until the area is safe once more, get a team up here to clean the mess, oh and one other thing" "yes sir?" "I want a full report copied to the local marines in this area, we'll have to keep an eye on this island now that criminals think its a safe place to hide" "of course sir" She replied as she watched Bain walk off. In the corner of her eyes however she saw a small boat float away in the distance, she simply smiled whiles blushing a bit, as she thought to her self "Be safe, my love" she would then drag her platypus friend and cuddle him tightly as she ran off to complete her duty's.

back at the boat, Cynthia seemed lost in thought until Isao spoke out to her, mentioning about the marines where turning, listening to what Isao said she steered the wheel to the right so that they could escape their view. it wasn't long till Trevelyan managed to get on bored. it seemed the plan came together, every one managed to get to the boat safe and sound whiles still getting away from the marines, sighing to her self she couldn't believe it, she was finally free from the nightmare that she has been running away from all her life, but what to do now? well that was until Trevelyan pointed out eastward and mentioned to head that way, he then turned to wards her and asked for her opinion "well, this isn't my boat, myself and Isao borrowed it, but that seems like the right choose, yes, lets head there then", as she turned the wheel the boat sailed eastward as the group headed towards the next island where their adventures where just beginning.
