With Ryuu's smoke break lasting through most of the song, he was at ease for a bit. What he didn't expect was for someone the leave the concert hall however. Seems like it was that girl with pink hair and the bunny ears that had made an escape from all the middle aged men in the crowd. As she dashed by him in the exit of the hall, Ryuu raised an eyebrow. What was her hurry to leave, was the music really that bad to her? Then again why come here in the first place if you didn't like this sort of music? Ryuu didn't pay it much heed until he saw some fire burning in the distance, on the other side of the exit hallway. It wasn't that clear what was going on but it seems those guys from before were the ones who started it. In their escape they ran into the trashcans, what a clumsy action... Getting up Ryuu decided to check out the fire as well but as soon as he was about to walk out into sight outside the concert hall, there was a feeling telling him he shouldn't. Ever since he awakened his ambition, the young man had these very gentle pre-motions sometimes.

Over half the time it didn't matter as bad luck simply gravitated towards him but instead Ryuu decided to peek around the corner of the hallway. And there he saw it, a man of probably 9 or 10 feet tall, maybe even more, talking to the pink haired bunny girl from before. And as she suddenly retaliated in this obviously violent and dangerous atmosphere, she was manhandled. The young woman wielded a bow as big as she was and from Ryuu's experience, archers were skilled at combat. If he jumped in now it'd be what, 20 against one and he was not armed. Plus with the way that young woman scolded some spot light handling person up there, Ryuu might feel her wrath even if he did win by some miracle. And then there was the issue of even if he could use his conqueror's ambition again so soon without tiring himself out, he'd have to differentiate between too much people to not accidental knock someone out. The chef needed a weapon, pretty badly. Running back along the wide open hallway, he encountered a barrel. A barrel of some sort of thing labelled P.A.C. with the inscription below reading "Take one for the sake of peaceful tomorrow". Filled with bright blue colourful bats, they all had Annabelle's chibi face on it and the same P.A.C. logo along the bat. Ryuu took two and wondered how these things were going to make anyone more peaceful.

Holding them both by the handle in one hand, he was about to walk back as suddenly the big tall and wide captain of the crew had taken some steps towards the entrance of the concert hall. Putting the bunny girl down towards a group of his men he pointed at her and ordered them around: "Hold her back, we're going to need her later. I saw a gigantic luxury ship make port here before and from what I know it belongs to this pop idol teenager. We're gonna acquire us some more wenches and that boat before this whole town burns down!" he shouted with his fist in the air, his men full of bravado and fighting spirit now as they cheered in the prospect of the luxurious boat that Annabelle sailed on. Walking forward, it seems the group split up to cover all the exists of the of hall before panic was too widely spread. Having Annabelle as a hostage did make it far easier to commandeer a ship of hers, whatever security she had would be forced to comply. It seems their leader was not a stupid man in the slightest. Arrogance however, radiated off the man's face like a poo radiated stench.

In other words, it disgusted Ryuu. As the group of about 5 or 6 men, including the captain approached him, the black haired chef stood in the middle blocking their path with a wide smile. "Move you twerp, I have business here." the captain scoffed at him as Ryuu shook his head. "No sir, I'm afraid I can't do that, you seem up to no good and well my sis-" the young chef spoke but was nearly instantly interrupted when the man swung his wide hand and smacked the poor unlucky man into a wall. His head making a crack in the concrete, Ryuu could feel the blood sipping down his forehead as he slid down the wall in a loss of energy. His smile still there but clearly an injure that would have killed a normal man, he was getting up and wielded the bats in each hand. "Sir, if you respond to my... Plea with... Violence... I'll be forced to do the same..." Ryuu spoke as he quickly stepped forward, jumped and swung the bats in a strong hit on the man' head. Too slow for Ryuu's fast movements there was a different issue with the way this all worked out for him.

Crashing into the wall a second time and coughing up some blood, the young male was still smiling. The big man shaking his hand as it seems he hurt himself using the chef as a punching bag, Edmund shook his head. "This little shit... Who the hell does he even think he is, playing hero..." the ogre of a man spoke as he took a step forward but was once again stopped in his tracks. The bloody smile of a determinated young black haired chef was below him, grabbing onto his leg as Ryuu crawled over in a last attempt to stop him. "Sir... I will... Not ask... Again..." he uttered in his pain but then promptly gets kicked into the wall again. Sitting up straight and smiling, Edmund just shakes his head at the crazy man and proceeds to walk on. What went wrong in all this is that the bats Ryuu used to attack were mere foam bats that made a light squeaky noise when they struck someone. The whole peaceful tomorrow thing made sense now all of a sudden.

Sitting there in the hallway, Ryuu was a bit too beaten to get up right away. He'd get up in a bit though, right now his motivation to play hero was a bit low however and his sister was in no immediate danger right? No, no, no, no! That kind of thinking is what got him into that mess all those years ago too. Get the fuck up Ryuu and change the course of your destiny or stay down and make history repeat itself! At the very least help the pink haired girl out now that she wasn't guarded by 20 or more men!

And then suddenly there was the biggest most stunning plot twist in the history of the entire world! When Annie finished the song, suddenly, as if out of nowhere, everybody started screaming! Annie's eyes widened a bit and her jaw dropped a bit as she feared the worst, that something terrible like random pirates out of nowhere were starting to attack the city and, more importantly, the concert with Molotov cocktails in order to burn it down, possibly leading to a possible situation where they try to kidnap the young girl and hold her hostage so they can use her ship to esc- oh wait a minute. They were just screaming in joy because she and the girl she asked to join her on stage had done such a good job performing. Well that wasn't so bad after all! Annie really needed to stop being so paranoid, especially because as something as silly as she just imagined could never possibly ha- oh God, it really was happening now, wasn't it?

People started screaming for bad reasons, this time, and some of the merchandising booths suddenly caught on fire on the outskirts of the concert. People started to panic, not quite sure what was going on, and the girl that Annie had called up to the stage looked equally afraid. She quickly switched off her microphone and leaned in towards the girl, patting her on the back and smiling. "Don't worry, everything will be ok!" She then turned the microphone back on and then called out the guys making a scene in a very angry tone. "Hey jerks, if you want to cause some trouble, why don't you come over here and try and start some with me?" She started to stomp forward towards where the fires were coming from, and surprisingly quite a few guys started coming towards her, all generic goons, much to Annie's disappointment.

"Hey what's the big idea? Where's the bad leader? Why do I get the generic scrubs?!?!?" "Foolish girl!" one of the men who stepped forward onto the stage said, the chaos of everyone panicking and running around as well keeping any of the guards from getting up themselves and stopping him. "You may think that you have nothing to fear, but I am in fact the most generic of all of the thugs here! And that in turn makes me, Steve, the most villainous of them all!!! Ha ha ha! Ha ha ha ha ha!!!" Okay, was this guy seriously for real? I mean forget about the pop culture references making him an endearing non player character; this guy was just way in over his head. "Now Annie, I'll make you a deal; you come with us quietly and we may not kill everyone here while we burn this place to the ground! If you refuse.... well I think you can guess what will happen!!!"

Ok, this was kind of laughable really. This guy had, what, 5's in all of his stats and he thought he could take on a Main Character? Clearly this guy did not know who he was dealing with. "Or I can pick the third option," she said with slight boredom, her voice still booming over the microphone. "Excellent! Now if you'll just- wait, what third opti-" Poor Steve was cut short, however, as Annie made a quick kick to his torso that sent him flying several meters out. Everyone in the audience suddenly went quiet and just stared in shock at what happened, even the guards who should have probably taken that time to get to the troublemakers and, oh I don't know, stop them. Finally, one of the goons got up onto the stage and started to speak up. "You..... you killed Steve!" "Actually he's not really dead!" "He was my best friend and now he's dead!" "I think he's even getting better!"

The man nodded to one of his companions who then got up as well and walked towards Steve's body, lifting his leg up when he got there. "Steve, who had almost pulled through following a mortal wounding before finally succumbing to death..." The other man then lowered his foot down on Steve and probably only knocked him unconscious, though potentially killing him and completing the rather lame Monty Python reference. "...is dead because of you. I'll never forgiv-" Annie just sighed and kicked her leg forward and sent a slicing shockwave forward that cut across the man and sent him falling to the ground in pain and suffering. And then the entire crowd went wild again, but not out of panic, but because they were cheering for their idol. Yeah, even when she wasn't singing she still had amazing fan support. Deal with it.

An authoritative grip squeezed the sides of the young woman. Edmund looked at her menacingly, his eyes stern with a killer intent as the others around him joined in the cause of cheer. "You overgrown pig..." painfully spoke Ellie, who was struggling to free herself from his grasp. "Karma will surely strike back!" she yelled, quickly gasping for air afterwards. The captain scoffed, which soon then transitioned into a haughty laughter. He and his crew all looked at the bunny eared girl and snickered — together, they were all unable to take the woman seriously. Was it her ensemble of an over the top school uniform? Or was it the ribbon on her head with the bunny headband? Or maybe it was her pink hair and eyes — no, that was impossible! Her death glare was unmatched! Eventually, Edmund let her down... or rather, he dropped her. Landing upon her feet, she took a few seconds to regain her balance. The painful sores in her sides were increasing by the second, though her will to fight soared beyond limits.

Immediately, Ellie was grabbed by both hands from behind and was restrained from moving any further. One of the henchmen was the perpetrator of his inexcusable act, and his actions would not easily go forgiven. Edmund had spoke of needing her later, most likely for her navigator skills. 'Even if they take me, I'll lead them all to their own tidal deaths...' she thought to herself, unable to move forward. It was soon then that a new challenger had arrived — a black haired man of remotely tall stature stood before them. Before Ellie was even able to speak a word, the man was suddenly sent flying into the wall, where he would apparently be dealt a significant amount of damage. Then it happened again, causing the young woman to cringe. She looked at Edmund with a visible look of disgust and proceeded to yell at him. "What the hell do you think you're doing you elephantine ogre!? He has nothing to do with this!"

A finger soon appeared before the young woman, pointing directly between her eyes. One of the many goons had stood before her with their vile attire and horrid stench of not bathing for many days. "You better shut up Ellie otherwise you're really going to die!" he yelled at her, his spit spewing uncontrollably. The horrors that befell onto the woman's expression was unimaginable — it was almost as bad as the time she had read about the terrors being done to dolphins sometime ago... The goon soon examined her from head to toe and set his sights on something rather peculiar. On the woman's torso lied an adorable little plush, resting upon her side in an adorable manner. He reached out his hand to touch it whispering, "My, my... you always kept this close to you, am I right? One of the main rules you set down before was to never touch it... I guess it's time to be a rule breaker!" An uncontrollable fury, one that exceeded the powers of a thousand golden haired men took over the bunny eared girl. With one fell swoop, Ellie raised her leg and smashed the imbecile between his legs.

Death Goddess Lumina mode activated.

The man fell, holding his private areas as he rolled around in pain. "If you ever dare to try that ever again, you'll be losing both of your heads," bantered Ellie in a ferocious voice. The person holding onto her then yelled at her, scolding her for harming their crew mate. But she would have none of that. With the gracious presence of high heels on her feet, she stomped on the man's foot, the small heel sending a surging pain through his feet. He let go of the woman as he screamed in pain, taking a few steps back to regain his momentum. Now filled with anger, he lunged towards her but quickly stopped halfway. Standing in front of the goon's face was a bow and arrow, quickly drawn by the young woman. Her body was stern and ready — this Death Goddess would hold no mercy for those who dared to even touch Mr. Fae. "Care to take another step?" questioned the woman.

"Magus," spoke the woman. In a blink of an eye (literally) the small star within her eye had grown, becoming a shiny tint of pink that took over her iris. The man looked at her with fear, screaming words such as, "Freak!", "What the hell!?", "What are you!? She looked around her — the crewmen were slowly stepping away from her as they had never seen such a sight in their lives. Had they not known about the mysteries of Devil Fruit users or was this their first time encountering one? Whatever the reason may be, Ellie was somehow lucky enough to scare them off despite her scarily low stats. Swiftly, she walked backwards, avoiding Edmund in the process. Turning around, she quickly ran over to the black haired man's side, offering her hand to help lift him up. "Are you still able to stand? Looks like you took quite the wallop, she said firmly. Ellie turned her head back to look at the pirates and Edmund, who all glared at them with looks of hatred. "You mentioned you wanted to save your sister, right? Then hurry, we should get out of here before they hurt everyone and everything!"

"Oh, what's this, Ellie? Got a special little friend? Guess the both of you can die together along with everyone else!" Edmund laughed. It seemed like his confidence and arrogance held no bounds.

"Shut your ignorant little mouth you grotesque swine." she replied. Knowing that she wasn't able to do much with her current strength she prepared herself to head for the crowd to warn to evacuate them.

Being but a normal girl Kyo didn't know what to do in a situation like this... Thank god she wasn't in the crowd, those fat guys were running for their lives like bulls in a stampede. Her idol turning to her to reassure her a little was very comforting. But then as Annabelle literally taunted them all to attack, the poor girl sank down to her knees. Her idol was such a badass but what would happen to her? She couldn't fight, she was just a highschool student... Then again, Ryuu by her constantly came back with bruises, cuts and other injuries. Was it normal for highschool students to pick fights like this? No, it most definitely wasn't. But despite that, Annabelle was only 2 and 3/4ths of a year older than her and could do such a cool martial arts move... It made her admire her idol even more. Maybe she should start practising too... Could she learn it by her age? She did memorises the dances fairly easily, perhaps this was something similar? Martial arts and dance... Food for thought if she ever got out of this alive. Shivering, she was afraid but at the same time a bit excited.

Meanwhile...

Recovering from his injuries wasn't really much of an issue. The man had force behind his punches sure but Ryuu could take a couple more of those without passing out. What stuck to him was how well everyone seemed to be handling everything. The giant stuck around to watch as the girl with bunny ears escaped out of his subordinates grasp. Ryuu wanted to whistle in his good impression of her skills considering her previous condition but felt like it might be a bit inappropriate. When all was said and done, she offered him a hand to get up. Was she serious? From up close he could see she was quite the beauty. Why in the sweet overlord that decided that the black haired chef's life would be a never ending string of misery did he deserve even a moment of her care? Ryuu lowered his chin and laughed a bit: "Ku ku ku... It's okay... I'm just perfectly fine~..." he spoke as he got up on his own, not going to dirty her helping hand. Picking up one of the bats, Ryuu swung it around with a little flair and made a bow to Elaina.

"I wish we had some time for formalities Miss but for now I must-" Ryuu spoke as he got up and made a wide smile for the pink haired young women but was interrupted by Edmund's banter. Taking a deep sigh as he was not allowed to even state his course of action properly. Quite the mouth on this otherwise rather elegant and... Cute looking young woman. Was that the right word? Ryuu couldn't really think of any other fitting one at the moment. Oh well. "Please you flatter me~! As if such a beautiful young lady would ever associate with the likes of me~! Ku ku ku..." the chef ended in a bit of a malicious laugh. Swinging the bat in front of him once more as if he had just unsheathed a sword, the look on his face was confident and smiling. Running his hand through his hair, he swept it back. "Miss, I shall provide an opportunity for you to help evacuate the concert. My sister is doing alright for now, she's on stage with Miss Amagi so I shall manage on my own from here on out. Unless you wish to reverse the roles?" the young chef suggested to the pink haired bunny girl. Now that's a sentence you don't read every day.

Edmund was just gritting his teeth in frustration. "How are you even standing?!? Any normal person would have their ribcage shattered and here you are spouting bullshit like that! Who the hell do you think you are, some kind of hero?!?" the man uttered in frustration. Ryuu just smiled and made a light laugh to himself. "... I'm just a concerned older brother of course~!" the black haired young man spoke as the baseball bat suddenly became covered in a black metal like coating. Making a swift dash to the side, he seemingly coiled and twisted his arm before quickly unleashing it in reverse. The corkscrew motion sent out an areal shockwave towards the group of pirates and knocked back both Edmund and his mooks quite some distance. Swinging the bat around like a playful cane of sorts, Ryuu's smile was only matched by his non-chalant attitude regarding this all. "Ah... I'm so unlucky... To be without my sword against such a formidable foe~!" the chef uttered in quite obvious sarcasm. If his tone didn't set the pace enough already.

Turning his gaze back to Elaina, it was a far friendlier smile that was directed towards her: "Please, go on. I'll hold them off for you to get your revenge... If that is what you desire of course~..." Ryuu spoke as he suddenly made a quick succession of swings with the bat, readying himself for a combat stance. Currently they had two aims, to capture the young woman with pink hair and bunny ears, as well as the popstar Annabelle Amagi. That would probably be Ryuu's next stop. Mother would have his head if Kyo got injured...

"Come on, who's next?!?" Annie boasted, much to the crowd's enjoyment. Here she was, standing up against the concert crashers, and making an entire show out of it. I mean it's not as if she needed to cater to her fans or would become more famous and popular by proving to be a capable fighter, but eh, you never know these days. Besides, these guys were just mooks anyways, so it's not like they were actually dangerous in any way. Speaking of mooks, the one who "killed" Steve for the second mook was now leaning down said mook and seemed to have a tear or two in his eyes. He then stood up, turned towards Annabelle with a look of sheer hatred in her eyes, and started to exercise his rage through the use of words. Because, you know, you are required to say something before you even think about getting into a fight with someone. No really, check the Rules; it's totally in there.

"I-I can't believe it," he began. "You.... you will die for killing Nameless Generic Villain Number Two!!!!" "He's not dead!" "You..... you will die for mortally wounding Nameless Generic Villain Number Two!!!!" "Actually, he's getting bet- oh no, not this again. You're done!" Just like before, Annie kicked the air in front of her and sent out a slicing shockwave, sending it across the stage towards Nameless Generic Villain Number Three. It was a direct hit and, just like the nameless generic villain that came before him, he fell to the ground in sheer pain from the cut delivered across his body. The crowd cheered once more, but Annie couldn't help but feel a little..... empty inside. I mean sure, she was kicking their butts and all, but it was just too..... boring. If she was going to go through this crap and have to deal with villains crashing her concert, then at least she should be forced to actually try to take care of them. "Come on, this is pathetic. When is a real opponent going to try and stop my concert?!?!?"

As the crowd cheered, a lone figure stepped out and onto the stage, obviously aligned with the mooks because.... well let's face it, why wouldn't they be? He was dressed in a tacky suit with a orange and purple polka dot tie, a gray coat and pants, green dress shoes and a magenta fedora. "Hello." Oh thank God, someone with colored text; that was a sure sign of a minor character who would actually be worth fighting. "My name is Inigo Montoya." Oh no. You have to be freaking kidding me; we're doing this now?!? "You killed my comrades." I mean two of them aren't even unconscious! Why do these guys keep thinking they're all dead?!? Prepare to die." "Listen up, bozo: You can crash my concert, you can try and kill me, you can even force me to listen to..." Annie shuddered before she could continue, obviously disturbed by what she was about to say. "country music." "But we don't even like coun-" "But nobody, and I mean noooobody, makes two lame pop culture references in a row like that, Billy!" "But my name is Ini-" "It doesn't matter what your name is!!!"

Rapidly tapping her foot multiple times, Annie suddenly disappeared from sight and appeared right next to Billy. The man was surprised that she suddenly teleported and appeared out of nowhere (because let's be honest, who wouldn't?) and therefore too late to react to Annie's next attack. Super Star Ultra!!!!" Leaping into the air, Annie suddenly began to deliver a flurry of kicks into the man, knocking him a back a bit every time and using the kicks to keep herself in the air as well. When it seemed like he was finally ready to stike back, which was kind of obvious because he grabbed the hilt of his sword and was starting to pull it out, Annie pulled one of her legs back, shouting "Miraculous Melody!!!" before sending it flying forward, crashing her foot into his torso and sending him flying back several meters, the man skidding across the stage much to the delight of the crowd. Annie, on the other hand, landed safely back on the ground feet first, and this in itself gathered a couple more screams from the audience.

An expression of disbelief struck the young woman's facade as she observed the black haired male stand up from his damaged state. She blinked; was the sight before her truly what she had witnessed or was it the workings of the devil's magic? "W-Well, alright then. If you insist..." Ellie spoke, her voice faltering with uncertainty. It wasn't long before Edmund had broke her out of her baffled state, in which she returned to her death goddess state. She snarled at the gargantuan man, no longer able to deal with his overbearingly annoying personality. Her attention soon redirected back towards the black haired male, who seemed surprisingly in great condition despite the tattering of his clothes and blood trailing down his face. '...Is he a demon? There's no way he should be that okay after going through that...' pondered Ellie, her face stern with seriousness. Eventually, she replied to his comment. "The matters of our association were depicted by your involvement in this. But I don't believe that is the important subject at hand here..."

But, the surprise did not end there. He spoke once again, and this time it came with the implications that he would stay and fight — a mission impossible, Ellie would think. It was one to have encountered her so-called crew, but it was another to have come across someone this ballistic. "I currently don't hold the capacity to take them on... I'm much too weak for that. I would encourage you to come along, but it seems as though your will to fight is beyond my comprehension," the young archer spoke calmly, her voice whispering at some points. She let out a sigh; whomever he was, his bravery or idiocy was simply another out of Ellie's hands. And it was soon then a depiction of his potential was shown — his arms had blackened and the air around him had suddenly thickened with a deathly intent. To witness such a sight left her in awe; just who exactly was he?

When he had called out to her once again, she gazed at him for a few seconds. "Unbelievable," she muttered under her breath. She had seen great warriors back on Lighthalzen in her time, but never had she truly seen someone like the man standing before her. It took her a small moment before she was able to recollect her thoughts. "It is not revenge that I seek," she began, calling out to him. "To calm this storm is what I want. And considering the circumstances... I suppose I will leave this to you. I'll be back to properly thank you. Until then, good luck and don't die... if that's even possible for someone of your abnormal state," she ended. Swiftly, she turned around and headed straight towards the concert area without looking back. She wasn't sure whether or not the strange man was a hero or a cynical psychopathic killer, but whomever he was, he certainly held the capabilities of handling them.

It wasn't long before Ellie had arrived at the musical scene. Fans had remained huddled together, cheering on their favourite pop star in unison. Had they not been aware of the current situation taking place not too far from this? Regardless, it was still within the young woman's best interest to warn them despite her great dislike of the event. The archer ran along the sides, making her way near the side stage. Though the warnings of many staff members were spewed in her direction, Ellie didn't seem to take much notice. She was deafened by the focus of evacuating everyone. As the young woman ran up the small flight of stairs, she activated her unique devil fruit ability. When she had come to, she had caught the site of a not-so-much-of-a-mook slide across the stage floor, clearly wounded by... Annabelle Amagi!? While Ellie was not one to discriminate, she was merely astounded by the pop star's amazing feat.

Unfortunately, that was not all the young archer had to be worried about. In the back, some distance behind Annabelle was a little girl who stood on stage alongside the performer. Behind her was another generic mook who paced himself slowly, lurking within the shadows with his feet tiptoeing behind the various blocks. Within an instant, Ellie pulled out her bow and readied herself into position. She put herself into a stance, mumbling the words, "Celestial Sky: Nu Pyxidis." She then readied two arrows and squinted her eyes, solely focusing on her target. When ready, she yelled out, "Nu Pollux!" The arrows were then shot, flying past by Annabelle and her foe. With a direct line of sight, the arrows had found their target and struck the man behind what was assumed to be the demon man's little sister; a direct hit into the leg and waist. It pierced him, causing him to cry out in pain and surprise. When the little girl had noticed, she immediately ran towards Annabelle's side.

"Annabelle Amagi," spoke the young archer, walking upon stage. "I apologize for the disturbance as there is no time for introductions but I think you may need to warn your fans about a pirate invasion. It's best if you get them all to evacuate before anyone gets hu—" she explained before coming to a sudden halt. Beside Ellie was the man who laid upon the ground with an evil grin to his expression. The archer immediately began to shake her leg to rid him of his presence, but he would not falter. He began to yell about something along the lines of becoming the greatest mook of all, but no words had reached her. In a last resort to rid him by pulling out her bow, she had lost her balance... and was beginning to fall of the stage. Would anyone save her!?

Determined, that she was, that archer with pink hair. She seemed more aware of her capabilities than Ryuu first thought. A clear goal in sight ahead of her, she was off to do what she had set out to do. Letting out a light chuckle, Ryuu shook his head a bit once she left. "Sometimes I wonder the same thing... I can only hope there are plenty of names before mine, on Death's list..." the chef thought out loud as he faced the mastermind behind this great plan. Though that might have been a bit too much credit than the man was due. After all, Hall security would likely be handling the fire. This island was run by a Shichibukai and it was one of their biggest sources of income. There's no way in hell they'd let the family friendly district burn down like this, even less so the Northern one. Ryuu was a bit worried about the Southern district however. Hopefully the fire hadn't spread that fire yet... In any case, raising his squeaky bat up against Edmund in this clash was his biggest worry right now.

His henchmen were not about to get up any time soon, the shockwave Ryuu sent at them had knocked them out good. Edmund himself didn't seem to be taking it too well either but he got up again. "I don't know how you're still standing but I'm gonna pound on you till you're nothing more than a smear of blood on the wall." the man spoke as he cracked his knuckles. The black haired chef simply smiled and raised his weapon up, ready to strike or defend. "I implore you to try..." he taunted the big man. Having a punch thrown at him with that pink haired bunny girl sized fist of Edmund's, Ryuu held out a block with the bat, still coated in his Armour Haki, to block it. On impact he slid back a couple metres but retained his footing and most importantly his smile. Quickly setting himself into a proper attacking position, he prepared the bat in a stabbing motion and then quickly lunged himself and the weapon forward in a fast incision at the man's throat. However considering the weapon was merely blunt, it was but an impact on his breathing.

Stumbling back and dropping to his knees, Edmund grabbed his neck in pain and naturally could not utter a single word. With the action shifting the main stage, Ryuu had seen that his surroundings were empty. Walking closer, he decided to settle this all in one non-violent blow. Unleashing a short range pulse of his dominating Conqueror's Colour of Haki, he was surprised to find out that the man was only staggering even more. Breathing heavily as if he had just finished running a marathon trying to escape a wild bear or something, Edmund was still concious. Ryuu's smile disappeared for a moment and he raised an eyebrow. "Huh... It seems that you are not quite that weak after all... None of my concern, a single blow will be enough to finish you now... After you die, start over from 0 SD. Clearly the 50 or so that you have are not something you deserve~!" the chef wondered out loud with a smile stretching from ear to ear as he raised his bat in the finishing blow but was suddenly drawn to a different focal point of attention. The shouts of being the greatest mook of all time and the struggles of the archer with pink hair had interrupted his finishing blow on Edmund.

"You're in luck it seems. For you will not die by my hand right now~!" the chef uttered with a rather sadistic delight, despite being denied the kill. By whom or what you ask? By his rather heroic instinct to catch a falling young woman. Using the same instantaneous movement as Annabelle before, he appeared just below the stage. Putting the bat down in a running dash, he jumped and caught the bunny archer with one arm below her knees and the other below her back, much like any super heroic type would catch a falling damsel. Though he didn't consider her a damsel here, she was playing the heroine after all. Landing back on his feet, he slid across the ground for a short distance as he let out a sigh, putting the young woman down again, on her feet of course. Making a swift and short bow, Ryuu proceeded to picking up his weapon again. "What a twist? The Heroine needs a Hero to save her as well~! Clumsiness is quite unbecoming of you, Ku ku ku~!" he teased the archer a bit, with a playful smile and a cheeky look in his eyes.

On the non-Ryuu side of the story, after Kyo got saved by Elaina, she was sort of glad to use the opportunity to cling onto Annabelle. That soft and comforting feel of her favourite idol was amazing. That and all the kicking attacks the popstar had done before had given her a clear shot of the type of panties she wore. Making a note for herself, she would definitely have to find the same ones as soon as possible... But Kyo was not without manners, as shy as she was and somewhat stunned in the presence of her idol, she still offered the pink haired archer a word of thanks before her untimely and ungraceful tumble off the stage: Th-thank you..." she stuttered somewhat. But clinging to Annie's arm made all her fears go away. The popstar was amazingly soft to the touch, who would have thought that such an upstart fighter would have such a soft skin. And her clothing only had the highest quality of cotton, it felt nearly like silk. It was a true dream to be this close to her idol.

From there the chef jumped on stage only to find this greatest mook alive man, clinging to him now. Simply kicking him aside, he then... Slid on his knees over to Annabelle and grabbed her hand. It looked like he was about to serenade her. "Miss Amagi... Words cannot express my gratitude for protecting my little sister. I must say, I was not a fan nor have I heard of you prior to today but you have won over my heart with yo-Kuh!" the young man uttered as he was suddenly kicked in the face and fell off the stage again. And no one would save him in his ungraceful fall. Hitting the ground, it all felt brutal to any bystander that was watching it. The one who kicked him was the girl who was clinging to her idol before and the chef's very own little sister. "Don't. Come. Near. Her." she uttered looking down on Ryuu as the latter formed a playful grin. "And you should also thank the archer lady! She protected me too! But I swear to god, if you start hitting on her as well Ryuu...Or maybe you already were... Ugh, why did I have to have such a lowlife for a brother..." Kyo lectured her brother with a glare almost, very closely resembling but not quite up to par to Elaina's deathglare.

Turning his face towards the bunny girl, Ryuu had the same playful smile as earlier but with 20% more pain. "Th-thank... You... You have my... Eternal gratitude..." the swordsman tried to sound as charming as usual but it was clear that he was in pain. And not only physically, he had only just met these women and he was already being slandered by his own family none the less... "Don't pay attention to him Amagi-sensei! He's just some... Loser I happen to be related to..." Kyo then spoke to Annabelle in a loving and innocent tone, in complete contrast to the behaviour she just displayed to her brother. Getting up again and dusting himself off, Ryuu wiped away some of his blood and sighed deeply. "Ah... I'm so unlucky... To be hated so fiercely by my little sister... In public..." the chef spoke as he picked up the bat again and looked over to where he came from. It seems Edmund was still struggling with his breath. "My apologies, I was not able to finish off that ruffian before rushing in to catch you. He is however suddenly feeling all sluggish and ill, I cannot comprehend what it is, really... Seems like a single attack is enough to finish him off at this point..." the chef explained his concerns to the archer with pink hair and rabbit ears. The sly look in his eyes was proof enough that he wouldn't be the one to deal the final blow on him in the end after all. Even if she deemed herself weak, Edmund had no endurance left and was gasping for air.

It then came to him they still had not done proper introductions but it would have to wait until this crisis resolved itself. Supposing his name had been dropped by his sister already so there was an indirect introduction there. Anyone could piece together his name with some deductive reasoning at this point. His sister introduced herself on stage, giving them the last name and she just told these two his first... Regardless, the formalities, or lack there of, bothered Ryuu a bit. He'd have to get on that as soon as possible and redeem his reputation with gentlemanly conduct.

I active my counter trap card "Moar Techs!!!"

Well, this was an unexpected turn of events. First, the pink haired girl in bunny ears that had been selected by accident earlier was getting on the stage, no doubt jealous of Kyo that she hadn't gotten to be on stage herself. Of course this was completely untrue and it turns out it was just so she could save Annie and Kyo by taking down an enemy that was trying to flank them from behind. Now of course Annie could handle any attack from behind (and don't you dare take that as a perverted joke) given her powers, but the one she was worried about was Kyo. Thankfully this woman stepped in and helped the two of them out, much to the girls' gratitude. Turning off her microphone, Annie began to reply with, "Thank you for-" but was unfortunately cut off as the pink haired girl began to fall off the stage due to getting pulled down by one of the generic mooks. It seems like destiny didn't want her up on the stage, after all.

But what happened next made things even crazier: some heroic knight came out of nowhere and caught the falling archer!..... Oh wait a minute, her bad. It was just some guy, probably one who was destined to be the butt of all future jokes and cruelness. Speaking of being cruel, it turns out that this man was Kyo's brother and said brother was immediately kicked in the face by his sister and began to fall off the stage. Annie couldn't help but release a quick chuckle, to which she immediately covered her mouth since that was quite a rude response. "Oh come on, he can't be that bad...... can he?" the pop start asked the man's sister, kind of curious to know why there was such a strong dislike emitting from the girl towards her brother.

"Well anyways, thank you both very much. Now if you'll hold on just a sec..." Annabelle then turned the mic back on and started addressing the crowd. "Attention everyone! I'm sorry to say this, but we have come across some sliiiight issues with our program tonight. Please everyone make your way out of the area calmly, and make sure to keep your tickets: we'll make sure they are redeemable for future concerts as well as free merchandise and tone dials!!!!" The crowd cheered in happiness before doing exactly what she said, because apparently everyone in the world looks up to pop stars and will do whatever they say because they're stupid Americans easily persuaded. However, at the same time she got a strong feeling of despair and anger from her manager behind stage, considering he would now have to follow through on her promises, but that was ok; he could suffer. Turning her mic back off and making sure that Inigo was still lying on the ground somewhat unconsious and they were in no danger of getting attacked by generic and not so generic mooks alike, she turned back to the man and the bunny girl. "Sorry about that. Anyways, thanks once again for stepping in to help; it's very much appreciated!" As she added in the last part, she made a quick bow to the two to show her gratitude.

It had all happened within an instant — one moment Ellie was on stage and the next she wasn't. A hop, a hop and all of a sudden a grand flop into the arms of... a man who looked as though he had been beaten to a pulp a thousand times over. Or, in this case, that monster that was with Edmund not too long ago. "Oh, it's you," calmly spoke Ellie as she was gently placed upon the grounds. She took a moment to readjust her skirt and clothing and then looked at Ryuu dead in the eye. "I don't recall signing up for the role of heroine. And I will have you know that that had nothing to do with clumsiness. That... thing, whatever that heinous mook may be intentionally caused my fall," she explained, pointing her finger at the culprit. After a small pause, she glanced away, looking at Kyo and Annabelle. "... You have my thanks regardless." Ellie scoffed, totally not being tsundere at all.

After returning back upon the stage, she stood by the popstar and her fan. While she wasn't expecting one, the young girl still offered the bunny girl her thanks, in which she responded with a calm and subtle smile and said "Make sure to return to your family safely." But, perhaps one of the greatest plot twists was exposed before the young woman. The black haired male spoke to the young girl and with much surprise, uttered the words 'my little sister.' Ellie's eyes widened for a single second before reverting to normal. But the events following the reveal reassured her that it was indeed the truth as with the unusually blunt words towards Ryuu. He then gave her his thanks, but she quickly retorted it with words of her own. "Our roles are reversed. It should be I to thank you, Ryuu — if I remembered your name correctly," she said, looking away. Ellie was never one to act kind on a regular basis, but she did know where her manners lied.

If there was one thing the young woman had noticed though, it was the fact that Ryuu and Kyo genuinely shared a sibling relationship. While the disgust and insults were thrown at the older brother, Ellie was able to see that they were family. She heaved a small sigh; she wouldn't be one to admit it but she was a little envious. Her older sisters never even dared to mutter such playful words at her or even spoke to her in general. It was Ryuu that broke her out of her train of thought. With a small 'huh' and a rise of her eyes, she looked at him with a calm facade. "That overgrown pig has finally gotten what he deserved. I suppose I have you to thank for that; I would be honoured to give him the finishing touches." But, before she was even able to escape the discussion in front of the public eye, Kyo and Annie had begun to speak one after the other, making it seemingly rude for Ellie to suddenly leave.

The crowd soon began to dissipate as they ventured back into the Entertainment District. It was a shame that they were only able to enjoy so much of Annie, but if anything, they did receive the opportunity to gaze upon her battle skills. "Ah..." Ellie began, as she suddenly found it awkward when the popstar had thanked her. "You should not be thanking me. It was partially my fault that pirates had disrupted your concert — I was once a crew member of theirs but them being pirates was not of my knowledge. I was fooled and deceived. It should be I to apologize to you. And as such, I will take responsibility and clean up the mess that they have caused," assured the young woman. Her face was one of seriousness. Ellie saw no reason to hide that fact — Ryuu saw her previously interacting with them. It was only a matter of time before he connected the dots and figured out that Ellie was potentially to blame for putting his sister's safety in danger. The young archer knew that it was the right thing to do.

"I suppose my time here is done. But, before I do, I owe all of you a late introduction of myself. My name is Elaina Lynn, though you are free to call me Ellie if you so desire. I am a student of the bow and a guider of the seas — an archer and navigator respectively, if you will," she spoke, bowing to the three that stood before her. "It is a pleasure to meet the three of you. Thank you to Ryuu especially for saving me. Unfortunately, I have matters to attend to and a grotesque beast to slay." And with that, the young pink haired woman gave one last bow before leaving.

- - -

Ellie stood before Edmund, her eyes gleaming with her infamous death glare. He gasped for air, begging for her to provide him with medical attention. She rolled her eyes inevitably. "Pardon my language," she began, raising her right leg in the air. Ellie then dropped it down like a guillotine hammer, with comical air slicing sound effects following it. Upon contact she screamed, "YOU FREAKING SUCK!" In the background, an imaginary explosion of a thousand bombs went off.

"If I ever dare see you touch or even look at Mr. Fae again, I will disassemble every part of your body and feed them to savage boars."

Humbled once more by her idol... Bowing to the lowlife that was the idiotic chef of a brother to her, Kyo had learned a lot about how deep her idol cared for her fans and their relatives. The concert hall running empty now, it was only matter of time before only the pirates themselves were left. For a moment there, Ryuu considered using the colour of the conqueror but it had been enough for today. Besides, he didn't like showing off such a flashy ability in front of strong people. An ambition that only one in a million people unlock, Ryuu never felt comfortable putting it on boasting display. In any case, with crowd clearing, only some of the pirates were left. One look back from the trio was enough to make them scatter as well however. The black haired chef smiled a bit wider than usual. It was always a fun sight to have people run off in fear. With the commotion clearing out, it seems the fires in the district were also dying out. District security must be on the case to round up all the pirates.

At Annie's inquiry regarding Ryuu, Kyo sighed a little: "... Well... I guess he's a pretty good cook... But other than that, he's just some lowlife, playboy delinquent with a far too polite tone for his evil intentions... Don't take him seriously Amagi-sensei." his little sister scoffed. Ryuu, following it all, had lost all colour in his face and fell down to his knees again. Completely slandered in front of a celebrity and a young woman who had a thing for bunny ears, plushies and really fancy bows. Telling this story out of context in a bar would surely get him plenty of laughs. Annie thanked them both again for their assistance and shortly after Ellie began sharing her piece. Ryuu remained silent during it all, only sharing a nod in understanding on occasion. It seems she had quite the sense of honour and perhaps guilt? Sure, she was associated with them like Ryuu picked up earlier but he didn't blame her for anything that happened. On top of it all, it seems there was little harm done overall by their scheme. A scheme she clearly had no part in. She thanked him in particular for helping her but for as much as she believed the roles had been reversed, Ryuu thought it was all just as it started.

The young woman leaving with a last bow and a tardy introduction, Ryuu was feeling uncomfortable now. Annie had a massive scale introduction but she never got his name properly. This wouldn't do, though it seems she was set on leaving. As soon as she made a move for Edmund, armed men in the same uniform that the guards on the bridges wore had entered the hall and were looking for more strays of the crew responsible for all this. There was no sign left of smoke from the outside of the open hall either. As expected of Hall Inc., the situation got dealt with smoothly and swiftly. Ryuu tossed the squeaky bat to the side and walked a little closer to the stage, making a short bow himself. "Even so Miss Amagi, I owe you a great deal. Not only did you put on a show but you also saved my sister from danger. Though a bit late in the introductions, my name is Kurogami Kiryuu, Ryuu for short if you are feeling comfortable enough to call me such. However I won't mind at all from a cutie such as yourself~!" the chef flirted a little in his introduction.

Naturally his sister gave him a scoff and rolled her eyes at his words. "... Anywho~! I consider myself to be a quite decent chef. May I offer you a complimentary meal as sign of my gratitude? It's not much but I own a small place just on the outskirts of the Savage South district. If you don't mind, I would happily provide you with a... Late lunch or early dinner I suppose? Free of charge~!" the black haired cook spoke as he made a little happy jig, emphasising his enthusiasm. Hearing a shout in the distance coming from the young archer. Turning his head, Ryuu figured she maybe wanted to be alone seeing as she made a formal goodbye of sorts to them but it didn't feel right excluding her. "Excuse me, I feel the need to invite Miss Lynn as well. After all, I owe her some gratitude as well, despite her beliefs. Consider the offer please~! Kyo-chan meet me at the entrance in a bit, I believe we should get home to not worry mother so much. However I certainly wouldn't mind a lovely Idol to come along as well~" the older brother beckoned to his cute little sister whom just kept treating him the same way as before and made another smal compliment towards Annie. Though Kyo did nod in understanding as Ryuu got in a little jog towards the pink haired archer, despite his behaviour annoying her.

Kyo took a bow before Annie as she made a few steps in the direction Ryuu was heading. "Uhm... I-I-I'd be honoured if you were to join us, Amagi-sensei... Ryuu can cook nearly anything so I'm sure he'll be able to prepare something to suit your tastes... Even if he is just a loser who should keep mouth shut... But Uhm... I-i-it was a pleasure meeting you... I'm kind of sad I didn't get to ask for an autograph since I have nothing to write with or even write on... But it was amazing Amagi-sensei!" the young girl pleaded to her idol with eyes as big as the moon itself. Not really, just a figure of speech but you all get the idea.

- - -
Clapping a light applause for the young woman's display, Ryuu had announced his approach with the sound. Security officers were leaving the area dragging off pirates and would probably drag off Edmund somewhere as well. They often had those public executions in the Neon North district so Edmund and his crew would sit in jail until then. "Bravo Miss Lynn, quite the display. I advise you not to raise your leg as high in the future while wearing a skirt however..." the black haired chef spoke as made a little bow but obviously not of the very respectful variety. He winked at her as soon as he reached the lowest point. "You might give someone a bigger show than Miss Amagi just now~... Ku ku ku~!" he joked as he stood up straight again and approached her a little closer. His grin as playful as usual.

Fixing his tie a bit, he made a shrug. "You can say what you want Miss Lynn but Heroes and Heroines never sign up for their roles. And for helping out I owe you a great deal of thanks. Allow me to introduce myself, formally. Kurogami Kiryuu, Kiryuu being my first name ironically. Ryuu for short and you may call me as such if it suits your level of comfort~!" Ryuu spoke making a more formal bow this time. If there was anything to note about him it was the drama in his hand gestures and composure. Formal but quite over the top. "In any case... I made the same offer to Miss Amagi just now but I happen to own a little restaurant on the edge of the Savage South District. I would love to offer you a complimentary meal for your help today. For you see, I happen to be a disciple of the pots and practitioner of the coin! That is to say, A chef and a merchant. Monster just happens to be a side occupation~."

Standing up straight again and making a short sigh, Ryuu made a more friendly smile instead of the playful grin from before. "I understand if you want to move along. However it's going to get late in a couple hours and most places to eat are quite ex~pen~sive on this island. And if you are looking for a ship off this island I can accompany you to docks later to find you a more... Safe vessel and crew to associate with." the young cook continued as he looked back to check on his sister and Annie. "... Your former... Associates might have caused a mess but that's the Island's security force's task. You were not aware of their plans and even tried to stop them... So I certainly won't hold a grudge against you. No harm done, no one terribly hurt... Well, I chattered a lot didn't I? Ku ku ku~! In any case the offer still stands if you wish to come along..." the black haired chef finished up his part of the conversation as he awaited Annabelle and Kyo to show up. Hopefully both of them so all 4 of them could just go and enjoy a meal. That is of course, if Elaina also accepted the offer.

Well how was that for a turn of the unexpected: the pink haired bunny girl was previously affiliated with the generic mooks?!? This meant that she might only be slightly stronger than the generic mook herself, which means her ability to save the pop star from certain peril was even more impressive than before! And now this woman was trying to take the responsibility for the whole ordeal and the task of cleaning up this whole mess all upon herself? That was unacceptable!!! "Don't be ridiculous! This was not something that was within your control, and you didn't do anything to help the chaos, instead standing up against it. You are in no way to blame nor do you need to feel the need to clean up any of this; my stage crew can take care of that." Suddenly she got strong vibes of anger and frustration from her stage manager, as if he could hear her all the way from wherever he was. Yet at the same time, she got calm, thankful vibes from her ma- "And my manager can help out, too." Ok yeah, never mind; hate vibes galore.

Anyways, the young lady introduced herself as Ellie the archer and navigator, which reminded Annie that she needed a navigator for her ship. I mean, as much as she liked having to second guess every single person on the ship as they all argued with each other which was North way, it was probably better if she found someone actually knowledgeable in the subject. But of course it wasn't time for the cliche deus ex machina that brought a crew together quite yet, so it didn't even cross her mind to ask the bunny ear girl. Instead, her attention turned towards Kyo's brother, who proceeded to introduce himself as a name that was much better left abbreviated as Ryuu, though there was still the question of where the "R" came from and whether or not it was an actual abbreviation or just a random nickname, but whatever.

What really threw her off guard a little was how he through in a quick flirtation or something similar. Now to be clear, Annabelle was no stranger to men confessing their love for her or trying to hit on her, but never before had someone who didn't tick her off or weird her out try his hand at flirtation. And never had they been so subtle about it either! This was so unexpected that it made Annie blush like a bright red tomato!!!.... or at least it would have if she blushed. But she never blushed, so instead her eyes just widened a bit in surprise at the subtle boldness of Kyo's brother. And before she could respond, he suddenly invited her for a late lunch / early dinner! Was... was he asking her out? Well, he said that he was the chef, so maybe he was just being nice and was just willing to cook for her since it would be hard for someone to go on a date with someone at their own restaurant, but it was still possible, she supposed.

But of course before she could ask for clarification, he began to whisk off after the pink haired girl to invite her as well, which means he definitely wasn't asking her out..... Unless he was attending to have a date with the three of the, to which Annie would be weirded out and puzzled about how such a thing would even be possible. But if he was some weird flirtatious weirdo, it would explain how he was actually flirting with her.... but he didn't seem like the type to try and date two women at the same time (especially not to their knowledge), so it was probably just a little friendly get together. But of course before he left, he threw in one last compliment, making her second guess herself all over again. Luckily Kyo, the person she met today who was one of if not the least likely to try and flirt with/seduce/confess her love towards Annie, was there to settle her thoughts down. It seemed like, based on what the girl was saying, it would be a lunch of at least the three of them, plus Ellie should she accept. Of course if Ryuu was cooking, that might mean it would just be Kyo and Annie and that it would be practically a date if they weren't both girls, but that was fine as well.

"Oh, an autograph?" Annie asked in response to the young girl's borderline rambling. She raised her hand and snapped her fingers, causing one of the stage hands who had already started cleaning to immediately rush to her side. Almost as if he knew what Annie (or rather Kyo) wanted, he immediately took out a silver permanent marker out of his pocket and handed it to Annie before going back to cleaning things up. The pop star then proceeded to slip off one of the flower wristband thingys off of her hand and then signed the black stretchy band part with the marker, making sure to use her full name. She then put the cap back on the marker, threw it in the general direction of the stage hand (who immediately retrieved it), and presented the band to Kyo. "There ya go!" she exclaimed as she slipped the flower wristband around the young girl's hand.

Was this real life? Or was this just fantasy? Was it a dream? Or was this reality? Being handed the wrist accessory, Kyo's face just went blank. She couldn't believe it. She got a personal item from her favourite idol who even signed it herself. She just stood there, staring at the band with slightly teary eyes for a couple moments. Finally looking up from her hand, she was holding back tears of happiness like no tomorrow. "Th-th-th-thank you!!!! I'm so happy!!!!" she shouted as she suddenly ran off in embarrassment. Avoiding running towards Annie, she chased after Ryuu. At this point she'd just not want her popstar to see her crying face. She was so strong herself, dealing with a crybaby of a fan like her would just be a bother to her. Spotting Ryuu conversing a little further up ahead, Kyo was nowhere near stopping or slowing down. Nope, the young girl charged at her brother like a wild bull, tackling him in the process and knocking him over on the ground once more.

Oh boy, Ryuu and the ground were such good friends nowadays. Sitting up straight, the man grit his teeth a bit in pain but instantly regained his smile. What worried him was that something might have upset Kyo and as he was about to ask, he noticed the new wrist band. Holding her hand and taking a closer look it was autographed in a silver shiny colour. Miss Amagi had quite the sophisticated handwriting and for writing on a cloth with a marker, this was really impressive. Smiling over to the idol on stage he gave her a thumbs up as Kyo cried a little on his shoulder. "L-l-let's go... I wanna go home... Amagi-sense doesn't want to watch me cry..." she uttered in her scared but excited breath as Ryuu sighed: "Hhhhmm? Did you ask her that? Maybe she doesn't mind. Besides, if she's coming along for a meal, you'll have to be a tough girl anyway Kyo~!" he spoke as he ruffled her hair a bit. The young girl jabbed him in his side with her hand as a response.

Flinching in pain, he was certain his ribs were damaged at the very least. Bruised maybe? Oh well, these things happen. Looking over to Elaina, he only found... Thin air. It seems she left already. Perhaps he was talking to the same thin air earlier? As Kyo got up and helped Ryuu up in exchange the young man rubbed the back of his head in thought. Not like he could do much about it at this point. Waving over to Annabelle, Kyo instantly shot up and hid behind him, stealing peeks from the side of his arm. "Miss Amagi!!! Are you going to come along? I'll cook you anything you want and that's possible in my kitchen?" the black haired chef shouted over to the stage with his usual smile as Kyo was still mostly afraid to look over. Staring at her flower wristband, she got really happy again. "Please with sugar on top~? I don't meet cute girls like you every day you know! Please let me repay you for your kind-"

Another jab had put the chef back on his knees as Kyo was now completely and utterly embarrassed over her dumb older brother...

Annie was surprised and taken aback by Kyo's pure happiness and tearing up from the small token that she gave to her. It really wasn't that much, but the girl just looked so happy that it made Annie feel really good inside too. Heck, she probably would have blushed out of surprise and happiness if it wasn't for the fact that she didn't blush. Plus the idea of trolling icy by having her blush at Ryuu's sister but not Ryuu himself was tempting, but in the end would only be partially satisfying, so that possible reason for her blushing was out the window. Anyways, before Annabelle could say something to Kyo, the girl ran off like all tsunderes do in these kind of scenarios. But you know, that was kind of weird because normally they would only flee if they were afraid of their love interest seeing them show raw emotion like crying tears of joy, but Annie looked around and didn't see any similarly aged guy that she might have some sort of crush on. Oh well, maybe it wasn't a tsundere thing and she just felt like running.

Now that she was finally alone, if only for a little bit, Kirijo-senpai almost materialized out of thin air right next to her, and he was not happy. "Letting people redeem their tickets is one thing," her manager started to say to her with an angry tone in his voice, "But promising to give them free merchandise and tone dials? Do you have any idea what that's going to cost if we tried to see through to that promise?" "Well that's fine with me!" Annie replied with an equally angry tone. "You can take it out of my paycheck. Or I can take it out of yours if you don't like it that much!" "Annie, you aren't even in charge of my pa-" "Out of it!" "Alright, I'll take it out of yours, sheesh..."

As helpers continued to clean up the stage and surrounding area, Kirijo-senpai checked his watch and was obviously starting to get worried about the time. "Come on, we should get back to the ship. We were planning to leave right after the concert anyways so we can get to the next island in time." He then proceeded to start walking towards the except, stopping after a few seconds after realizing Annabelle wasn't following him. "Well? Let's get on with it!" he said as he turned around, gesturing for her to come hither. "I'm not leaving yet." "What?" "I've been invited by someone to an early dinner." "Someone asked you out again? And you said yes?!?" "It's not a date! He's the chef at a restaurant and his sister is joining us. You know, the one on stage with me?" "No no no, we aren't sticking around so you can have some dinner with some random people you just met!" "They're not just some random people! She's a big fan and he seems like a nice person, not some guy who wants to take me out on some date!"

Speaking of the two, Ryuu proceeded to call over to Annie, asking her if she was coming or not. He then added in another flirtatious comment, which was once again greeted without a blush, and, in addition, also spurred a sarcastic comment from Kirijo-sepai. "Oh sure, he's not trying to get in your pants at all!" he remarked in a quiet voice so Ryuu wouldn't hear him. "Now let's get-hey!" Her manager didn't even realize that Annie had already headed off towards Ryuu, jumping off the stage and taking off her mic to hand to one of the stage crew members. "Yes, I would love to join you. We were going to leave right after the concert, but considering it prematurely ended, I'll have plenty of time to eat!" She made sure to say that last part loudly so that her manager could hear her before she proceeded to walk off, presumably, with Ryuu. Or you know, just stand around and watch her manager feel conflicted of whether to grab her and forcibly take her back to the ship or just sulk in realization that she'd probably use her logia powers to sneak away anyways. He really needed to get her a seastone leash....

It seemed like Annabelle was having a bit of a scuffle with her manager or whoever the man in the suit was. Ryuu couldn't really pick up on anything as he was busy with his sister and all but when she came over, there was this distinct "I do what I please" vibe coming from Annie when she accepted his offer. Not like he minded, wasn't she 18 years old or something? The chef supposed he was worried of her coming along with strangers but there was no need for that. Not like Ryuu had any bad intentions with a... Young woman adored by thousands of males his age. Well poop, her manager was actually worried with a good reason now that he thought about it. As Annie joined them, Ryuu smiled widely and nodded. Kyo just hid behind him some more like the tsundere that she was. Not like she actual romantic feelings for Annabelle or anything but this was her idol and she was but a teenage girl. It's hard to act normal around someone you admire to that point.

Turning to the stage and making a deep bow, he shouted a little towards the manager: "I'll make sure to bring her back safely, Manager-san! No vibrant hair on her pretty little head will be hurt~!" he said before being jabbed by Kyo again. "Wouldyoustopthegoddamnflirtingyou'reembarrassingme..." the teen spoke quickly as Ryuu sighed in pain. He was quite sure that his ribs were bruised and that there was some other damage on his body but he'd manage. He needed to change and take care of himself when he'd get home however. "... Not like I can help it~!" he uttered a bit painfully with a friendly smile. The group then began moving through the Eastern district back to the bridge over to the Southern one. Kyo remained fairly silent and Ryuu was just humming a happy tone as he walked. As the they were crossing the bridge he decided to turn to Annie and ask her a couple things: "I want to thank you again for your help earlier. I did not know popstars could be so strong, I was really impressed~!" Ryuu complimented the popstar.

"I hope it's alright for you to come along? Not like there's anything to worry about, I don't wish to inconvenience you with your staff and friends however..." Ryuu spoke a bit worried as his smile shifted for a bit. He'd await a response but as soon as they had crossed the bridge, his restaurant was visible in the short distance. Since East was being evacuated earlier there was a bit of a commotion around them and on the bridge itself though everyone was being guided along by the security of the island and things were going swimmingly. Arriving in front of the store, Ryuu's mother was waiting outside with a worried look. His brother was seated at the front porch, looking a bit bored. Noticing them, She instantly ran over and jumped the young man and his sister before Ryuu could even say anything. "Ryuu-chan, Kyoko-chan! I was so worried when I saw the smoke rising up!, they said the whole district might burn down and and-" the woman uttered as she noticed Annabelle with them. The older woman got a smile as wide as Ryuu's. it was obvious they were related despte the different hair colours and whatnot. "Oh you, saving young girls and bringing them home, so sly... And such a pretty one too~! I approve."

Raising a thumbs up to Annie, even Ryuu could feel the shame at this point. Getting up as quickly as he could, he pushed Kyo towards Annie.
"Mother please, you're embarrassing me. This is Annabelle Amagi, the popstar Kyo wanted to see, remember? She helped us out a great deal and I offered her a complimentary meal on the house as thank you~!" the chef explained quickly as he signalled to Kyo to get inside the place. "Could you please show Miss Amagi a proper seating Kyo-chan? I'll explain some more to our mother and clear up any misunderstandings in the meantime. I'll be right there~!" he spoke a bit hastily as if he didn't want Annie to make conversation with his mother. Kyo nodded and was going to do just that actually, still in a blushing silence. She was the one who was embarrassed even more... Inside, there was not a single other customer. A small traditional ramen store as expected, the best seating was probably closest to kitchen. A long bar like service, you could even watch the cook prepare the food from there. It was also the seat Kyo would recommend, should Annie choose to follow suit quickly.

Then again, something troll might happen and Ryuu's mother and Annie could get in conversation. Boy would that be an inconvenient situation.

Annie was very curious about the source for all of theses various flirtatious comments that were coming from what very may well be a stereotypical pretty boy. Was he intentionally trying to woo her? And if so was it simply because she was an attractive pop star, or was he attracted to her for other reasons? Or was he telling the truth and using such language was just part of his personality and he couldn't help it? Either way, it would seem that she would have to put up with it even if it was a bit weird to keep hearing such compliments. I mean when they weren't being screamed from some fan along with other vulgar comments. But it's not like she would actually spend any time with him once she got on her way to the next island, since the likelihood that he would also be leaving and heading to that same location was highly unlikely.

"Who, me? Oh no no, I didn't do anything special really. Just threw a kick in here and there. You know, like pow!" As she made the sound effect, she made a swift kicking motion and struck the air, careful to not to create an air shockwave because of it. The motion was incredibly fast and swift, and the leg snapped back down into a walking pattern just as quickly. "So nothing much.... Oh no, they'll be fine!" she continue in response to his worries about holding up her crew and manager. "Kirijo-senpai just doesn't like it when I get out of his sight, even if he knows I can take care of myself. Though don't be surprised if he sends someone out to watch us..."

When they got to Ryuu's house, Annie almost blushed should she have been able to yet again as his mother started to tell him that she thought Annie was cute and that she approved. Jeez, what was it with this family and compliments? It was slightly embarassment to a point. "It is nice to meet you, Mrs. Kiryuu," she said with a bow. "I thank you and your son for your hospitality and wouldn't want to take advantage of it, so please let me know if I am a burden." Maybe it was just her, however, but it seemed like Ryuu was almost trying to get Annie to move along, even telling Kyo to show her their seats while he stuck behind to talk to his mother. Though she didn't want to be rude to the woman, she also didn't want to upset Ryuu, so she followed Kyo to her seat as indirectly instructed. "I don't understand: what are these misunderstandings your brother has to clear up?" the pop star asked of Kyo, hoping to get the girl to talk a bit since she had gone quiet.
