“10:40.” “Thank you.” “Follow me.” The waitress led Apollo to the outdoor section of the café. She gave Apollo an awkward smile to hide how uncomfortable and confused with Apollo choice of fashion. Not wanting to bother the waitress with little things like how crowded the tables were, Apollo immediately nodded in agreement when the waitress pointed to a nearby table. Without even giving her a chance to ask what Apollo wanted today, he told her, “Just today’s paper please.” A defeated smile spread across the woman’s face before she left Apollo to himself. With her gone, Apollo adjusted the outside tables of the café to his pleasing till he had giving his table some breathing room from the rest. It had been his third day to the café, Apollo would have thought that they would have gotten use to what he was wearing. It took a minute but Apollo finally managed to snuggle himself into the seat. His Soviet Rushland Coat that he had on was ridiculously big, but for some reason no one was able to recognize him in it, which was what Apollo needed right now, who knows if anyone he pissed off in his last adventure might want revenge. Plus it was really comfortable, and despite the sun shining brightly throughout the city, Apollo was not hot in the coat. “Sir”, the woman addressed Apollo to get his attention, “your newspaper.” Apollo asked for the time again before thanking the woman, twice, for each of her services. Apollo rubbed his freshly cleaned and shaven face, as wondered what he would do for the next five minutes. Apollo leaned back on the seat, and looked around him. The café was packed on a nice sunny and warm day like today, yet oddly enough no one was in the outdoor section like he was. The streets were bustling with people, mostly women shopping and children playing games. The stores and shops around him were a plenty and across of the café, the city of Candor hospital, which Apollo sat parallel to. Apollo sighed, as he reached into his rucksack pulling out a beautiful porcelain tea cup. Apollo carefully ran his finger over every inch of its design before placing it on to the table. He closed his eyes until the aroma of freshly made and poured tea made its way to his nose. Apollo smiled and gleefully told himself, “Now I can catch up on world events, while I wait.” A few pages into the newspaper, Apollo looked away to confirm what he saw from the corner of his eyes. A distraught teen. The teen was maybe 3 ft shorter than Apollo, wearing a lot of yellow, an open vest and a multi colored scarf. “I wonder what’s wrong.” Apollo wondered finishing the tea in the porcelain tea cup. Apollo was not wrong. He did indeed see a distressed Teen. The boy was running through the streets (or at least moving with haste) in search of a place to quickly wash a rather delicate penguin suit. While this is normally something that is odd, it is actually a gift for someone who was currently in the hospital, and Drea wanted to surprise her! However, he accidentally spilled some beer on it (which makes complete sense because being a cyborg, he happened to run on alcohol) and thus wanted to clean it before he gave it to her. Without a map and no real navigation skills of his own, he simply ran through the streets of the village-city, searching for something that looked like a laundrymat! Drea usually wasn't the clumsy type, however, with this much on his mind, and an entire penguin suit in his hand, he didn't see the curb of the street directly under his foot steps. His yellow boot scuffled across the curb, forcing him forward and stumbling over himself into the vacant cafe table. In something of an embarrassing mess, the chair and tables flopped around in a series of metallic clangs and clunks. Some of them seemed oddly inorganic, which was in fact a result of his cyborg metallic exterior. While it might have seemed odd, the entire scene accidentally drew more attention to Drea himself then he had wanted. He wasn't normally the awkward of shy type either, but no one could help feeling the slightest hints of embarrassment after such a tumble. "Jeeze, for real? Gahh lee.." He said, trying not to curse in public which was normally his first instinct. His head shot up as he looked to the nicely folded, beer soaked and now street dirtied penguin suit. Eye twitching, he stood to dust himself off, and began the process of setting up the table and chairs he had just accidentally knocked over, "S-sorry about that." He announced publicly. The people walking the streets decided to stop, gawk and gasp at the teen who collided with the café table, one or two tables from Apollo. The waitress who was assigned to Apollo did the same, hell, even the packed people in the café and it's staff had decided to press their faces against the window to gawk and gasp at the teen. Apollo was just holding up his porcelain tea cup up to his face wondering if there was somehow a way to get this magic cup to make more tea for the day, up till the teen publicly apologized. The public apology seemed to cause everyone to go back to what they were previously doing, as if nothing happen, yet with no concern of the wellbeing of the teen. Apollo placed a 10,000 beli bill in the newspaper he was reading and then rolled up the paper. As the waitress approached, he got up and handed the newspaper to her, “Thank you for the great service the past few days, enjoy the paper.” Apollo had not tipped the waitress since he started coming to the café a few days earlier, hopefully that would make up for it. With the waitress in awe at what she found in the newspaper, Apollo made his way to the teen. He began helping the teen arrange the tables the way they were. Apollo couldn’t help but feel sorry for the teen, if it weren’t for his early table arrangements the teen probably would not have ran into the table. Apollo scratched his head, ‘that must be why the tables were so packed together, sheesh how do I apologize for this’. Surely the teen noticed Apollo helping him by now and since Apollo wanted to be the first to say something he just blurted out the first thing that came to mind. “Grraga yagoo”, perplexed at what had come out of his mouth Apollo tried again, “The people around this part sure are weird.” Acting on a hunch from the odd yet familiar sounds he heard earlier he chuckled, “I guess we can be considered weird too huh”. Drea wasn't used to embarrassment, as his outgoing and loud ego usually protected him from the shyness of the spotlight. However, just one peak around lead him to notice that everyone in the area had stopped to take notice of the racket he had caused. He felt a bit of a head rush as his body temperature seemed to increase. Even though he was a cyborg, the physiological effects of emotions were still very real to him. He hustled to put everything back in it's place, even as the civilians had gone back about their business, only to realize that someone had actually stopped to help him. The man said something that, under his deep and quiet voice he didn't quite understand, but then mentioned that the people around were weird. His next statement was that -they- were most likely thought of as weird as well. From what he could gather, the man helping him wasn't a native, at least, and they would have that in common. But what exactly did he mean? In the spirit of conversation, and to thank him, Drea played along. "Y-yeah... thanks, yo. Seriously, who put that curb there I mean, like, gaww lee. Good thing I don't know these people. If my friends had seen me back home they would have never let me forget it." He said, finishing arranging the last chair and moving to scoop up the dirtied penguin suit, examining it, "Jeeze... really?" He said observing how the dirt and dust from the street clung to the beer dampen fabric. Holding it folded up in one hand, he would extend his hand to the person who helped him out in a balled fist, expecting him to 'pound' his fist against it. Taking a moment to observe the guy for a first time, he noticed that not only was he oddly dressed for the weather, but was also freakin' huge. Drea's eyes scaled up the man almost in surprise that human beings could get that big, as no one from his home was a giant like him. "Haha, and yeah, they probably think i'm weird for being so clumsy, but I guess you kinda stick out like a sore thumb to giant guy! Thanks again... umm, do you know if there is like, a dry cleaners or something around here? I got this for my friend to surprise them but dirtied it on accident before I could give it to em'... just no my day I guess." |

Apollo’s eyes studied the teen till the teen turned to face Apollo for the first time. Either the teen had no idea what Apollo was hinting about or the teen was still all human, which ever was the case, Apollo’s suspicion was temporally quelled. Apollo laughed along with the teen when he laughed and listened whenever he wasn’t. “That is quite the predicament you’ve gotten yourself into. Unfortunately, I’ve only been here for a short time; confining myself to this café and the inn, waiting for my friend to make an appearance, so I would not know where one is”, Apollo confessed, his eyes dropping from the teen to the penguin suit. ‘No boy would dead be caught wearing that, unless he was really young. Maybe this is a gift for a girl?’ Apollo thought, gaining the determination and conviction to help the teen clean his gift for his girlfriend. Apollo nodded and smiled, “Let’s ask around.” Without a second thought or opinion from the teen, Apollo walked up to a group of girls. The girls seemed to be around the teen’s age if not older by at least 3 years, tops. Each girl of the group seemed to be exceptionally beautiful, with nice figures, and clothes that didn’t seem to reveal much yet hugged their bodies in such a way that it left nothing to the imagination. “Ladies,” Apollo addressed the girls of the group as he pulled down the coat hood so the girls could see his face, “sorry for interrupting but my friend and I have a bit of a problem.” Apollo pointed at the teen when he finish to let the girls know that he was the friend he was talking about and to let the teen explain the problem. Charmed, the girls ran over to the teen, dropping their bags in the process. Not wanting any thieves to help themselves to the girls’ bags while they helped, Apollo heft the bags, as he walked over to the girls now swarming the teen. At first Drea was a little disappointed that the big guy didn't have any sort of direction of the city. His story was a suspicious one; sitting in a cafe day after day waiting. But it wasn't his business to pry into another person's life, especially someone who had just helped him! As the man explained, Drea was already planning where and how he would continue his search through the city. The city itself wasn't massive, but it was just large enough that it was possible to get lost if you weren't from the island itself. He had to make sure he kept his eye on the direction of the hospital itself in order to make his way back when his little side quest was finished. But before he had a chance, the man seemed to have a sudden change of heart, inquiring that they should in fact, ask others for direction. This was Drea's next resort (after all, he had already asked the big guy for directions) but showing his resourcefulness, the big guy summoned an entire flock of women simply by calling to them and pointing in his direction. Drea was emotionally caught off guard. After all, he had just gotten off of the sting of having to endure embarrassment, but now, all of the sudden female attention was almost dizzying! Especially when he got a look at them to see that there was not one of them that he wouldn't consider to be cute. They were all chipper and happy to help, each chiming in with their own, 'what do you need' inquiry. Drea's eye twitched slightly as he attempted no to freeze up. His brain was very much still human, however all it was drawing was a 'do no compute' error message as he was slightly overwhelmed. Taking a deep breathe, Drea extended his hands to present the folded up penguin suit, "I-I need to find a place to clean this!" He said, almost as though he was holding his breathe while he said it. But wait. Why should I be so sheepish? he thought to himself as he looked past the girls to the larger guy now holding their bags. If his company was with a massive guy like him then he probably looked pretty cool himself. Drea figured that he was a cool guy, and had no reason not to look as confident as he did! Slowly he tightened his torso, standing up right. He wasn't exactly tall but he had to work with what god gave him. "D-do you guys know of anywhere that I can.. take it... to get it... Clean?" He said, mustering a confident cool voice, or at least a parody of one. |

Apollo let out a hearty laugh as he approached, he didn’t expect the teen to get uncomfortable around the beautiful girls, it contradicted the teen’s reaction and personality earlier, which Apollo found curious. Apollo gave the teen a warm smile as the teen looked at him. “Oh he’s cute.” “You’re cute.” “Look at his chest, he has abs.” “You have a nice body.” Were some of the comments the girls said, either to each other or to the teen. They were very relentless with their compliments and their excessive touching of the teen’s clothing and body. So much so that they didn’t even hear a word the teen had said to them. “Ladies,” Apollo finally interrupted, immediately gaining their attention, they grew silent as Apollo spoke, as if under a spell, “you guys look well off. One of you wouldn’t happen to know of a good cleaner? The penguin suit is very special, my friend and I certainly would not want any no name cleaner cleaning it.” When Apollo finished speaking, the girls went into deep thought. After a few seconds Apollo peered over the girls to look at the teen, and shrugged. “Oh, Amy has her own washer.” One of the girls finally spoke up to say. “Where is this Amy person?” “She’s at her house right now, we were all just heading over there to hang out. Oh I know you guys should come along!” All the girls jumped into the air in excitement and froze in the air as if someone was going to take their picture. Less than half a minute later, half of the girls ran behind the teen and started to push him forward, the other half tugged on his arms. “Come on, let’s go.” A few girls said simultaneously as they led and navigated the teen through the bustling street. The girls started off talking about where Amy lives, and how big of a house she lives in is, before they started asking personal questions with the attentions of trying to get to know the teen and Apollo better. Apollo only managed to catch the fact that Amy was a bit far from the city due to his daydreaming. As they all walked past what the girls said to be the center of the city; Candor City Square, they began picked up the pace, giggling with smiles on their face that could make even the coldest of hearts melt. The center of the city was a sight to behold, like a gem hidden in a rock, it was hard to imagine such a place existed on this island. Gardens and shops circled the center of the city. There was even a playground not far off, but what was going on in the square was far more fascinating. People on stilts, animals, music, rings of fire, women and men in tights jumping through the air as if they were flying, and even actual penguins. Apollo didn’t know what to make of it, it was the first time he seen something like this. When the elephant moved to reveal a magnificent fountain, the heart and prize of Candor City according to the girls, his jaw almost dropped. Apollo wasn’t sure but he felt as if their destination had change. “Let’s go.” The girls insisted of the teen and Apollo, running off into the growing crowd. Looking up, Apollo noticed the sun was still not over their heads, as if it were frozen in place. And when Apollo looked ahead over everyone’s head, he let out a chuckle in delight. The girls were dancing with kids of about 6 or so years of age in the fountain to the band playing. With a smile Apollo; turned to the teen, extending out his fist to give him that ‘pound’ he forgot to give him earlier, “Lead the way bro.” Edited by Spunky Misunderstood Genius, Feb 1 2014, 12:14 AM.

Drea should have known that things were going to well to be kosher. After all, his day had been a series of misfortunes and bad luck, and it was only naive to think that it would suddenly turn around with the meeting of this large and friendly guy. The help was nice, however, and since leaving Shina at the hospital, he had been running things solo for awhile. This was wishful thinking in action; hope was often blinding, and the carnival like surroundings didn't exactly help! As they followed the girls, what originally started off as them being lead to a place to do laundry was quickly becoming something of a chase! Drea would have normally found this odd if he wasn't enraptured by the scenes of the city square. The big guy even told him to lead the way, offering him a reciprocal fist pound. Drea hadn't even realized that the man had shrugged him off earlier, but grinned wide that he was now returning the sentiment. Bringing his fist to the big guys, the soft clang of the two fists meeting brought a suspicious look to Drea's face, as though he was slightly confused. The confusion cleared quickly as Drea realized, "Hey big-guy a-are you wearing a metal glove or something?" he said. Some suits of armor did after all have metal gauntlets and bracers, "Ohh and hey, what's your name by the way. I'm Drea. Drea D. Read. I'm going to be a pirate or uhh, I -am- a pirate, just haven't exactly started yet. Long story, anyway, wha'do-I call you?" he said. Before the big guy could properly answer him, the girls gleefully skipped off from the children, beckoning the two of them to follow away from the square, "Huh.. I guess this Amy person must live that way.. let's go, we don't want to get left behind. " he said, hurrying to catch up with them. However as they were lead away from the bright and cheerful scene of markets, bustling life and carnival like attractions, they found themselves in something of a dark ally way between two buildings. Even with the sun almost at the middle of the sky, the shadows of the buildings covered what was otherwise a bright scene. The ally wasn't dirty or anything, but to have gone from a loud and joyful place to here was somewhat unsettling... it was oddly quite; perhaps too quite. "Huh.. I could have swore they went this way.. I hope we didn't lose them." he said out loud to himself and also to the big-guy, "What do you think we sh-" Suddenly he was cut off as the ground bellow him opened up at each end and swallowed him whole (he didn't see if the big guy was also caught in the trap). Drea fell into the darkness under him; unaware as to where he would end up. He could only brace for impact. One thing was for sure: this probably wouldn't get Shina's penguin suit clean any time soon. Edited by TGIFlash, Jan 26 2014, 10:15 PM.

occ Banging his fist against his chest a couple of times, Apollo reminded the teen name Drea D. Read of his earlier comment, that they were both weird. Unfortunately Apollo was not able to reveal his name to Drea before he ran off after the girls. Apollo nodded in response to what Drea had said and followed after them. As Apollo made his way through the crowd after them, he felt hands on him. ‘Pickpockets’ Apollo cursed in his head. He stop in front of some benches and placed the girls’ bags on them. He needed to make sure everything was still in his pockets, after confirming they were, Apollo let out a sigh relief. He was too paranoid now, he would have to and should, move everything in his pocket to his rucksack, and so he did, including his coat. Apollo nibbled on a milk chocolate bar he took out of his rucksack, as he tugged and patted his loose fitting amaranth color quarter length v neck shirt for better air circulation. When that seemed to do little to nothing, Apollo unbuttoned the three buttons on the shirt. The area was becoming hot, his body more so. Apollo head was far above anyone else in the crowd, minus the stilt walkers, so he was able to breathe but it also meant he was taking in more sunlight. That’s when Apollo finally remembered he was supposed to be following Drea and the girls. Apollo brought his left hand over his eyes as he scanned above the crowd of heads until he found them. They were about to make it out of the dense crowd, so Apollo decided made haste, slugging his rucksack over his shoulder, hefting the girls’ bags, and running through the crowd as if he were in a football game. People were being knocked down. He had almost caught up to Drea before he was tripped. “What’s your problem, man?” A young man inquired of Apollo referring to the path of people on the ground, Apollo left behind himself. Apollo tried to get up but the young man unexpectedly pushed Apollo back down, with his foot, and reiterated his question with a more threatening tone. Apollo tried again, this time he braced himself, the young man foot might as well have kicked a brick house instead of trying to hit Apollo this time around. Apollo pushed himself up again, this time there were no interruption, so Apollo successfully managed to stand erect. Ignoring the cries and curses of the young man, Apollo made his way to the girls’ bags that flew from his hands when he fell. The thrown bags laid on the floor, on their sides, and clothes that were once inside were on the floor or half out of the bags. At first Apollo was just stuffing the clothes back into the bag, as he was short on time. It was when he noticed the clothes he picked up become kinkier and sexier that he started taking his time. Apollo completely stopped as he was about to start daydreaming, but the next item he picked up was different from anything he previously picked up. A guy's hat. It was an odd hat that seemed similar to his coat, at least the color and feel of the fur was. He had never seen a hat like this before, it was tall, like a military cap, with a visor, making it similar to a hat called shako. It was made of fur instead of felt or leather though, and it had ear flaps, making it similar to a hat called ushanka. Apollo ran his hands over the hat adorn ornamental plate and plume which was of the same color as his shirt, amaranth. Apollo felt as if the hat were meant for him. Running his hands through his silver white hair before placing the hat on his head, Apollo found it to be a perfect fit. Apollo quickly filled the bag with the remaining clothing on the floor, it was odd but he found more guy clothes on the floor, not entirely sure they were from the bag he left them there. Hefting the bag once more, Apollo headed for the direction he last saw Drea and the girls go. “Weird, I swore they came this way.” Apollo said, talking to himself. He was in front of an alley that seemed to be lit by the sun finally directly above. Apollo was certain if it weren’t for the sun he would probably walked by the alley without a second thought, but with the sun he saw something peculiar that he had to make sure of. “Why is there a huge hole in the ground?” Apollo asked out loud. “Uh, you went through our bags?!” startled, Apollo turned around, just in time to receive a kick to the groin. The kick to the groin managed to make the tall iron man drop. He grabbed his groin and cursed as he looked onto his attackers. It was the girls from earlier, “Keep the hat, it looks good on you”, the tallest of the bunch remarked while the rest of the girls removed Apollo’s rucksack and their bags in his hands. The tallest of the girl reached into the bag, after it was brought to her, and pulled out a shotgun. Apollo was stunned, he had no idea the bags had anything other than clothes in them, he never actually looked into the bags, and the weight of the bag wasn't really much for someone of his strength so he thought nothing of it. All the girls nodded in agreement, “We can kill this one, all his money is in the bag.” Sneered the girl with the shotgun before pulling the trigger. The force of the shot pushed Apollo and caused him to fall down the hole. Edited by Spunky Misunderstood Genius, Feb 1 2014, 12:14 AM.

Drea fell quite a ways through the darkness until the square above him of sunlight was minuscule. He had to have fallen at least 30-40 meters before hitting the ground with a metallic 'thud'. A fall like that for most normal people might actually have been fatal depending on how they fell, but for Drea it was just traumatic. No broken bones, just alittle scuffed up. It took Drea a few moments to recover. His heavy body had left a crater in the ground where he had landed, and as he pushed himself to his hands and knees he coughed out loud simply from the force of landing. He crawled a few paces before grabbing onto something in front of him to help himself up. Upon further inspection, it would seem as though he had grabbed upon metal bars. Had he fallen into some sort of cage? He took a few deep breathes and began to dust himself off. The place was pitch black with the exception of the light from above from the hole that he had fallen into. Even that small amount of light didn't illuminate the truth about what had happened. Slowly as he cleared his mind, he tried to put one and one together. Just a second ago he was trying to follow the girls so that he could get Shina's penguin suit washed, and the next he had fallen down a large hole! Was this a malfunction, or an accident? He had some bad luck so far today, so maybe he had just fallen down some manhole or some undone construction but... Wait a second! The penguin suit! Where was it! Drea dropped to his hands and knees once again and began searching around the ground for it. The darkness was blinding and time and time again he hit his head on what was apparently a metal bar, or a concrete wall. With his metal head, he didn't much mind, but it still gave him a good idea of the room he was in. It was a concrete room with a bar! He had fallen into some dungeon like cave. Thankfully, however, this style of exploration had yielded a reward. He had managed to find penguin suit... dirty, but still folded up. Returning to the one square or light, he would look up just in time to hear a loud 'bang' noise. Was that gun fire? The shot echoed for awhile, making it sound as though the dungeon he had fallen into was quite vast. The next thing he knew, a silhouette had fallen back, and descended from the light toward him. Surprised that another person was falling, he scurried to move out of the way, however, the trap door closed soon after, rending the room completely dark. Before he knew it, a massive body had fallen on his person, in spite of his attempts to get out of the way. The man was incredibly heavy, creating a crater of his own, but this time, with him under it. Suddenly, a number of dim candle lights burst on, providing just enough illumination to see, but only to make out shapes and vague colors. With the man on top of him, he could however, recognize that it was the big guy. Things clicked in his mind, "H-hey, you want to get off of me please? Ohh and uhh... you wouldn't happen to be a cyborg would you?" He said, as all the evidence came together at once. |

Apollo fell down the hole with his front side of his body up. Still in shock, Apollo’s eyes was fixated in place. He watched on as he fell, the girls giggle over the hole as they closed the trap door on him. Apollo found it funny, the trapdoors, a personification of the eye lids of a person who got shot by a shotgun at pointblank, never to open again. Unfortunately that didn’t apply to Apollo, ‘yet another disastrous situation averted’, Apollo thought mocking his wish to die so he can be with his loved ones. Next thing Apollo knew, his survival instincts kicked in. Who knows what could be waiting down below, maybe they knew he’s a cyborg and they have a trap waiting for him down there. Thoughts like these caused Apollo to act quick to at least slow down his descent down this long fall. So Apollo started to release compressed gas at a slow but steady rate, it didn’t slow him down much but every little bit counts. Without any forewarning so he can brace himself, Apollo had reached the ground. Apollo laid there for a while, repeating “She shot me”, in disbelief, while replaying what had happen from when the girl pulled the gun out of the bag to when she shot him with it. This went on well beyond after Drea had asked him to get off of him. “Ah, yes. Sorry about that, I hope that you are alright”, Apollo finally, responded and began rolling himself off of Drea. Apollo continued to roll himself till he was on his back again. “Apollo D. Viveka, exile of Cyborg Island.” Apollo revealed about himself, and went on after turning his head to face Drea, “Cyborg.” Apollo stared at Drea before turning away, Apollo wanted to see the facial expression Drea had made in response to what he had told him. The dim lighting made it all too difficult so he turned away. The 10 seconds of silence felt like 10 hours to Apollo, it was eating him alive, he had no idea why he revealed so much, nor did he wanted to think about it. So in the spirit of distracting himself, Apollo spoke up, “We better get a move on if we are going to get that penguin suit cleaned.” Though Apollo meant it, he made no movements, he was actually quite sore. So he laid there, waiting for Drea’s response, counting the droplets of water he could hear fall down in a short distance, as a daydream of himself smoking a cigarette, with some shades on, like a ‘cool’ guy crept up on him. Having suddenly revealed that the man was in fact a cyborg like him, Drea's face lit up! With it, all the previous clues as to his identity now made sense. Somehow, the guy named "Apollo" was able to figure out that he too was a cyborg. What was interesting too was that he said he was from Cyborg... island?! Where he was from he was the only person to have become a cyborg but to learn that there was an island named after his kind! But wait a second... he mentioned too that he was an exile from that same place. He must have done something that got him kicked off of the cyborg island in the same way that Shina got kicked off of her Cactus island. Was this a normal thing? Were people often just kicked off of their islands for doing bad things? If one was upset with their current living conditions, could they simply do something worth getting exiled and become free as a result? Pirates were free, after all, and they must have been exiled themselves, "Ohh wow! You're a cyborg too!? I should have known. That's so cool. To meet another cyborg... And Apollo huh..? hey Apollo, what's Cyborg island like?! I'm the only one from my island and this is the only other place I've been! So far it's been nothing since pins and needles since I got here." He said to Apollo, probably saying way too much himself. The thought did distract him from his current situation, however, but Apollo was quick to get them back on track, insisting that they better get a move on to clean his penguin suit. OHH RIGHT THE PENGUIN SUIT! Having been flattened by the larger cyborg, he accidentally let go of the penguin suit. Thankfully, unlike last time, there was enough light to see around him and quickly retrieve it. How unfortunate that the penguin suit, still folded up neatly but completely dirty now, was outside of the bars that made up their cell. In a vain attempt to squeeze himself through the bars, Drea reached as hard as he could to retrieve the penguin suit, but still fail, "If only I could take off my damn head I could reach it.." He muttered to himself. From out of the darkness a number of clacks could be heard. It was as if the footsteps of a person drawing near. Enough to catch his attention, Drea stopped and looked upward as someone came into the light. It was the silhouette of a woman, and she was obviously wearing high heels. The woman bent over and picked up the penguin suit, though she was enough shrouded in shadows that there was no seeing her at all, only her shape, "Hmm, this hardly seems valuable, but it will make for decent kindling." the female voice said. "My my, and to think the both of you are still alive..." The woman said before turning and walking off with the penguin suit. Drea's eyes were wide open, and he himself was speechless. A moment past in silence as his expression turned for the worst. Scowling in Anger, he jumped to this feet and grabbed the bars, "BRING THAT BACK! I NEED THAT WASHED!!!" He yelled, promising to himself that he would get the penguin suit back no matter what. |

ooc Apollo was still daydreaming as the female walked up to the penguin suit. It was not until she started talking that Apollo awaken from it. Her comment of Drea’s and Apollo’s well-being made Apollo uneasy. Apollo noted to himself that she will be back and that the penguin suit is probably much safer than they were, all before trying to return to his daydream. It seem like Drea didn’t feel the same way. In anger, Drea shouted to his captors to bring back the penguin suit and that it needs to be washed. With his eyes adjusted to the light, Apollo could see that the penguin suit meant a lot more to Drea than he thought it did. Or was it the person it belonged to did and the fact that it meant so much to the person, made the penguin suit all the more precious to Drea. Apollo had no intentions of trying to escape at the current moment, he rather just lay down in peace and wait to see what his captors wanted. Apollo knew fate had other plans for him though. Looking at Drea wide open eyes, clenched hands gripping the bars, the anger, and the ambition, it all reminded himself of someone. That someone was himself, when he was captured by the police force of cyborg island, ‘the officials’, he was powerless to do anything but look on to see something he cared for become further and further out of reach. Apollo could remember they anger he held, the ambitious promises he made to himself. With a quick glance at Drea, Apollo began to wonder if Drea had done the same. From that experience Apollo learned just how deadly of a force ambition can be, it’s a catalyst. Your world will become more fucked up than you can imagine, at least that was the case for Apollo. It was why Apollo didn’t bother with dreams, all he wanted was death. With a sudden halt to the echoing of the female footsteps as she walked away from the cage in heels, Apollo knew that he would receive his second lesson, and Drea… maybe his first. Some candles went out. The only thing Apollo could see was the bars of the cage, everything beyond the bars, was covered in darkness. The only sound to be heard was the droplets still falling in a short distance away, though at a quicker pace than last time. An odor that Apollo smelt earlier that was faint was now more potent. There were other smells mixed in with it now too, like gunpowder and the smell of something burnt. Out of nowhere, as if it all materialized at the same time, a petite hand in red leather gloves, grasp the bars just above Drea’s hands, and a woman’s face pushed through the bars, so that Drea and Apollo could see her face. She wasn’t hideous but the makeup on her face and her facial expression said otherwise. Apollo body jumped as it still lay on the ground. She spoke to Drea, “Did you just tell me, to wash something of yours?” Her voice was raspy, the sudden fresh air that blew pass the room, seemed to carry her words around the room, dispersing it to a whisper. “Would you like me to go to the kitchen and make you a sandwich too?” She spat in Drea’s direction. Apollo attention changed from the woman to the rumbling and faint squeaking he could hear in the distance, and smells he noted earlier became stronger. Apollo wasn’t sure if Drea had said or done something after his attention changed, but the woman face was more twisted than he remembered. As the woman let go of the bars, the opening end of cannons were pushed against the bars of the cage cell, on every side. “Okay you sexist pigs, time for some questions and answers.” The woman said as she pulled her face back, away from the bars, with an impatient tone. Oddly enough, as the scene grew more and more dim and dark, Drea was seemingly undaunted. Drea had grown up on and island covered in nightmares and fear, and so, this in comparison was a playground to the boy; he had nothing to be intimidated by. And so, when the woman appeared at the bars in an instant, her demented yet feminine face appearing to be distorted by her make up and frightful attire, Drea didn't as much as flinch. As the woman's scowling voice asked if he actually wanted to wash something for her, Drea was quick to snap back at her, "Yeah! I really would! Are you Amy!? Wash that Penguin suit!" He yelled back at her. She then angrily asked if she wanted to also make him a sandwich. He perked up alittle, though as obviously still angry. As the woman spit at him, he almost instinctively tilted his head out of the way leaving the spit to land harmlessly on the floor, "Yes! A sandwich would be great! Why are you being so nice for someone that locked us up!?!" he yelled back at her. His naive nature wouldn't quite allow him to catch on to the ridiculous of the situation was Suddenly, a number of cannons were rolled up and surrounded the entire cage bar for bar. The lady inquired that there would be some questioning and answering, and immediately, he began to wonder what sorts of questions he could ask. Like for example, how would large cannon balls fit through the small spaces of the cage if his head could not? To be fair, while bullets would most likely bounce off of him like frozen rubber bands, live cannon balls at close range would most likely be slightly more deadly. "Tsk, this isn't a very good sandwich.." he mumbled to himself as he backed away from the cages slowly. Oddly enough, if Apollo was paying attention, he would notice that the look of determination and anger hadn't left Drea's face, as though he were somehow not even the slightest big scared... But how could he not be? Edited by TGIFlash, Jan 29 2014, 05:22 PM.

“You still dare mock me? Very well.” The woman responded with a tone of voice that seemed to roller coaster between angry, calm, and cynical. “Drench the bars.” Suddenly liquid started flying at the bars from above the cannon, as if the perpetrators where standing directly behind them. Obviously the spaces between the bars were bigger than the bars themselves, so some of the liquid managed to fly pass the bars. Whatever smell filled the air once, was now completely masked by the odor of the liquid. “Gasoline”, Apollo muttered under his breath. “qahahaqahaha! Yes you hairless apes. Gasoline. I’m sure even mindless savages such as yourselves can figure out what will happen if a hallow iron cannonball filled with gunpowder were to suddenly collide with a steel bar, and if it were to collide with a steel bar drenched in gasoline”, lectured the woman trying to strike fear into Drea and Apollo. Apollo switched his position so he laid on his side, he was blissfully in yet another daydream. The woman made sounds of exasperation at their insolence. As the sound increased to that of a boiling teapot, she was addressed by another female. “Older sister, they are not pirates.” The older sister silenced her sounds of exasperation, to disagree in disbelief. “It is true older sister, they have no bounties.” The older sister said nothing, the room, noiseless. “Shall we get a bounty placed on their heads so, we can hand their dead bodies over to the marines for money, as we did the others?” Oddly enough, the older sister made nor uttered words of agreement or disagreement, yet the younger sister went on as she had. “Older sister! We are so close to reaching the amount of beli we need, please reconsider.” It became quiet again, and then the whole place was illuminated. Apollo awakened, rolling back onto his back. As his eyes adjusted, he could not recognize one single female in the room. “The girls from earlier aren’t here, just how many do they have with them”, Apollo questioned under his breath to Drea, counting 15 heads in the room alone. Curiosity, reminded Apollo of the droplets he counted since his arrival down here. It was dripping down a ledge on the wall across from Apollo’s right side where he lay. “No, younger sister. Even if we got those two bounties, we would not be able to claim it, no one will. All on the account of the fact that I, will not be leaving them recognizable, after I am done questioning them.” Drea had the older sister full attention. “Shall we begin? I want to know how did you two survived the fall without any broken bones... bird brains, speak!” Edited by Spunky Misunderstood Genius, Feb 1 2014, 12:15 AM.
