Andreas stood there, a look of confusing popping onto his face as Ritsuka went on about boys and her career. 'Does she know I want to fight her?' he asked himself before he cocked his head to the side, looking at her questioningly and at the suggestion of him forgetting about the entire thing, his heart sank. 'Wait, she won't fight me?!' he cried out in his mind, a look of visible despair coming over his face. He looked around as if trying to find something to fix everything. If he let her go here, then everything he had worked for would be lost. 'That fucking bitch!' He stood there for a bit, shocked at what had just happened. Everything he had done up until now was pointless. Those were precious hours of his life that he spent with her that he would never get back. But, maybe it was better this way. He could always just go find the gang from earlier and beat on them for fun. It would all be fine, he thought, everything was just going to be fine. Letting her go would be a good thing, she probably was not even that strong in the first place. "No..." Andreas whispered under his breath. As she started making her way away from him, he held out his hand. "Ritsuka! Wait!" he called out, giving a slow chase after her. "You can't just leave me like this! I've waited for so long!" he cried out in despair, clenching his fist and shaking his head. He began to slow down when he realized people were staring at him. It was quite the feat to stand out in a place where everything looked the same. He gave the best chase that he could, trying to appeal to the girl "Your fans won't need to know! It can be just between us! And I promise your career won't suffer!" he shouted to her, desperately trying to get her attention. "And you're going the damn wrong way!" he cried out, slowing down as he hoped that would finally get her to stop. "Listen, just... Think about it." he said as he took in a deep breath to regain his composure. Looking like a weak minded idiot was not a good place to let things end. He took yet another breath and let out a long and drawn out breath, trying to think of what to say. "Okay, I moved too fast. My fault. But you can't just shut me out like that." he said, a little bit of anger and passion filling his voice. "At least, at least let me take you to Mr. Vivid. You're gonna get lost, and then be all sad cuz every god damn building looks the same." he berated her, his anger rising a bit. He took a deep breath and tried to cool himself down, holding out his hands and letting out yet another breath. "C'mon, let's go to Mr. Vivid. Just forget about everything for now." he said, taking her advice. If she did not want to fight now, maybe she would want to fight later. So he would wait for Ritsuka and then lead her to the infamous Mr. Vivid, hoping that after whatever business she had to do, their fight could finally take place. |

Ritsuka was already a little worried about her plan to go through Turpintown by herself and still find Vivid's stage and everything on the other side. It wasn't just that the town was difficult to go through - it was - but she still wasn't used to all the white on white on white. The street signs were all those indented letters, and even when she got a good angle on them so she could read them, the realization dawned on her that they didn't actually mean anything to her. "Ohhh..." She said out loud as she realised her terrible mistake. Andreas had started talking to her while she was still checking out the map of Gesso island. She hadn't actually taken the time to read any of the maps or even get a sense of the layout of the town. And she also hadn't considered that the multi-coloured rain- er, paintcloud would block out the sun. Even her limited knowledge on knowing which was east or west was had been completely voided. She was standing at one of the intersections of two streets that could have been headed in any direction when she heard Andrea's voice calling her from behind. "Andreas?" She asked in disbelief, seeing him coming from a direction that didn't quite make sense to her. Had she run in a circle or something? She just followed the streets, maybe the looped. His sudden additional confession only made her blush hard, pulling up her hood so that she wouldn't have to look at people giving her glances for the rosy red of her cheeks. "Andreas, I can't!" She called back, hiding around the corner of a building and watching him slow down. It seemed like was gauging the distance between them but was growing aware of his situation as well. The girl almost let out a sigh of relief, but she remained where she was for the time being. Then he did something she couldn't believe. Even though she was only a short distance away, and they were still in public, he started to yell out his feelings for her and apologize. Well, some of it was apologetic and some of it seemed to be trying to convince her. "Shhh-hhh-shhhhh!" She hissed from around the corner, trying not to attract any more attention. She finally just leaned against the opposite corner so she didn't have to watch him embarrass the both of them in public. She could handle being up on stage and surrounded by hundreds or thousands of people, and even responding to calls of adoration. And she wasn't unfamiliar with guerilla tactic concerts either. "Still..." She told herself, unbelieving in how terrible it was to have this kind of thing aired out in public. When Andreas finally seemed to have run out of steam and calmed down enough, Ritsuka still couldn't completely gather herself. It felt like people walking by were waiting for someone to show up, so she tightened her hood and stomped out to the boy. "I can't believe you did that." She told him, not looking straight in his face. "These are the kinds of things you're supposed to do in private." She added. She grabbed him by the wrist and pulled him back down the street. "You said I was going in the wrong direction, so tell me where to go." She told him, letting go of him once they were on their way. There really wasn't anything of notable value to the buildings or the architecture, so for the most part Ritsuka didn't miss much as they rushed on their way to Vivid's. Of course, once they had actually gotten that far, that was when things were actually interesting. A massive stage had been set up a little off the town proper. It seemed that since it had rained only recently they were cleaning things up and pushing for the actual concert itself. Huge lights were set up, as were all sorts of speakers. There was plenty of white primer on them, it was impossible to keep it off most things, but the stage itself had a large covering that kept it blocked from the rain. Vivid's actual home was a sprawling compound that involved a ton of windows that were being cleaned of paint. Behind them were shades of brown and actual colour, it was kind of like seeing a shard of unbleached driftwood in a white beach. Security officers wearing white uniforms noticed the pair before they had gotten too close and began calling Ritsuka's arrival to others inside the compound. Call began to come back out, and soon the pair were slowly approached by one pair of the security guards. "Mistress Rizumu?" The man asked, smiling when the girl lowered her hood and gave him a grin. "Mister Vivid is awaiting you for final checks. The concert will be set for tonight if everything is to your tastes." He explained to her in an official tone. His eyes cast over Andreas and he didn't comment, but he certainly seemed curious. "I can take you right too him if you have no other needs." He added. |

Andread led Ritsuka straight to Mr. Vivid's place. Along the way he remained a little quiet. He found it hard to speak up after the incident, and it had him feeling conflicted. 'You looked like a god damn idiot.' he thought to himself as he furrowed his brow the entire way. When they passed the stage, he could not help but feel his interest peak. He had been making assumptions about Ritsuka this entire time, but he had never bothered to actually talk to her about anything. "So umm... tell me about yourself?" he said in a bit of a confused voice. He had never bothered trying to get to know anybody through their words, he usually only spoke to others through his fists. The last person that he had bothered being friendly with had only gotten that way through a big fight first. As they reached the complex, he could not help but feel that something was a little off. He could not put his finger on it exactly, but usually when his stomach stirred, it meant that something was up. "Umm, hey Ritsuka." he started to address her, letting his curiosity get the best of him as he had to know what exactly was going on. "I never bothered asking, but what are we here for again?" he asked, looking around a little confused. As he continued to wait for an answer, they were finally approached by a man, who addressed Ritsuka rather formally. When he looked towards Andreas, he gave a scowl back. "Is it okay if I come along?" he asked quickly, his innocent and curious look finally taking over his face. He looked like a little kid who was lost. The man gave him a quick raise of the eyebrow. "Umm, I'm her bodyguard?" he said questioningly, obviously lying to him. The man looked up and down over Andreas before shaking his head really quick. Andreas felt a bit of rage boil up inside of him at the man's dismissal. 'I could crush you in an instant you little prick.' he thought as he clenched his fist and began to grind his teeth. His heartbeat began to pick up for a second before it died down. He took a deep breath in through his nose and exhaled through his mouth. "So, what are we waiting for?" he said as he began to show his signs of impatience. |

Ritsuka was a little torn when they were walking and Andreas asked her about herself. "I guess it's only fair that he wants to know more about me, considering... Still, do I really need to him to know all that much?" She considered, getting into deep thought about the matter for an instance. "Then again, it's not like my fans don't already know a ton about me. That should be okay." She pointed out to herself, smiling to Andreas once she had come to her decision. "Well, I'm from an island not too far into the Grand Line called Kodenshima. Ah, it's okay if you haven't heard of it. It was kind of... Well, let's just say that we didn't accept many visitors." She started, sidestepping at least one important issue. "We were... Discovered, I guess, by the World Government. They thought we were a valuable people, in a way. We were very focused on community pursuits, I guess you could say." The young idol explained. "Well, the government was fine ruling over a calm population, but I... Well, not just me. There were a lot of people who took an interest in the outside world." She continued, seeming to look back fondly on a couple memories in particular. "It kind of turned ugly. My family were all trained royal guards, so we had the leadership skills needed for a rebellion. Things kind of got ugly and-" She paused when she could see the stage. "Oh, we're already here." She exclaimed, losing track of her story. "I was kind of exiled to make amends, but the World Government is still after me." Ritsuka commented, not paying attention because of watching the scenery and instead jumping to the end of the story. She was checking out how the stage looked from there, and was growing excited from the coming concert. Andreas' question caught her off guard a little, but only because it meant that she wasn't well known enough to get recognized on sight. "We're here for a concert, silly. My concert." She told him, looking to the stage again. "I'm an Idol Singer. I'm called Rizumu on stage." She stated calmly, the guard coming up to them and get Ritsuka into the building and the final planning stages completed. The girl seemed pretty easygoing with the guard and pretty used to this kind of ordeal. Though at the same time, she seemed kind of relieved that the trek to this location was over with. Now she was really approaching her element. The guard turned to look at Ritsuka when Andreas started to take a stance against him. "No, it's okay." She told him, reaching for Andreas and pulling him over. "He's not going to get in the way of preparations, but he's welcome backstage." She pointed out. The guard scratched his head a bit, a little unsure, but Ritsuka didn't back down. "And he's my guest. So please remember that." She added, turning to Andreas. "And please don't make any trouble during the preparation. I'd love to have you stick around to see the show." She commented to him as they were already being led onto the compound. The inside of the concert grounds had been prepared with hundreds of seats all lined up in front of a stage that had been built over the last couple of weeks. There were a few private boxes with seating in the very front, but they were mostly just gated off areas set in front of the rows of benches built onto an artificial incline. It was actually quite a lot to set up, it seemed that Mr. Vivid was expecting hundreds of people to show up. Yet there hadn't been any signs of box offices or ticket takers, and certainly no one lined up. Ritsuka didn't have much experience with either, but even Andreas hadn't heard of a concert - only about Mr. Vivid's big new thing. A few people rushed over to the young Idol once they realised that she had arrived, and started to ask her questions and prod her about her preferences for the back room. They were a couple steps down from treating her like royalty, honestly. "You'll have to wait down in the seating, Andreas." She said apologetically, looking back to the boy before getting dragged off. They were already asking her about her costuming and had pulled back her cape so they could see what colourful piece she was already wearing. Thoroughly distracted, there were two people that Ritsuka couldn't even see. One was a man standing in the window of the home, dressed in a deep red smoking jacket. The second was a younger man on the street, who pulled a stark white hood over his head once he saw Ritsuka being taken inside and then ran from the concert site and into the city. |

Andreas nodded his head the entire time Ritsuka was telling her story. It seemed like she had a pretty hard past, and he could not help but feel a little bad for the girl. He had a rough past for sure, but she had politics involved. That was something that he never would have wished upon anybody. Towards the climax of her story, and after she revealed the government was after her, he felt obliged to tell her of his own story in a very short and to the point story. "That's rough." he began to say, nodding to her and giving a slight sigh. "I was poor and got beat up a lot. So one day I decided to fight back..." he said simply before drifting off into thought. There was a lot more to the story, but it hurt him a little to think of everything he abandoned for the sake of protecting them. Although he loved fighting and was used to being alone at this point, he could not help but think of the family he had left behind. As he was lost in thought, Ritsuka finally told him what they were here for. "Oh... Ohhhh." he finally came to the realization of what everything was for, even though she had just painted it out to him. He watched as she handled the guards easily and stuck his tongue out at the guard as they were being led. He was quite amazed by the whole setup, and looked around in awe at it all. But he could still not shake that feeling deep in his gut. 'Maybe it was something I ate...' Andreas was a bit on guard as many people suddenly rushed her, but he quickly realized from her friendliness towards them that they were of no threat. He wanted to say bye to her, but she was quickly overwhelmed by all the people. He continued to look towards her even as she was swept away in a sea of questions. He blushed a bit when she took off the coat. Despite her being quite the fighter, he could still not deny that she was a bit of a beauty. Andreas quickly shrugged off the guards who quickly came towards him and told him to leave. He did not know what to do with himself as he was told what to do, but doing that seemed a little boring. With a few moments of waiting around, he decided he would just go and sit down in the seating. As he made his way over, he found that nobody was there. His mind tried to poke at the few ideas of why Ritsuka was having a concert, but nobody would be there. It was a little strange, but maybe they were just on their way there, or something. |

The planning for the actual concert was a whirl of conversations, orders and details that had to be gone over again and again. Every single person on the staff were dressed in a variety of white outfits, but when they looked at Ritsuka standing in her green spring outfit, they always paused. It gave her the sensation of someone interested yet confused as if she had been standing in front of them naked. Getting that cape back at the store was definitely a good decision in hindsight. The young idol helped the planners with the microphone checks and the pointed out which songs came in which orders. She had brought backups of the main tone dials needed for some of the songs - borrowed from her manager, of course - which they hooked up without any issue. Some of them seemed pretty appreciative of Ritsuka's patience, let alone her presence. They all seemed to be really excited about the concert, but not quite how Ritsuka tended to be idolized. She couldn't put her finger on it, but each of them were holding back something, about the concert or what she couldn't tell. Private concerts were one thing, but Vivid seemed to have something very special in mind. After some time, Ritsuka was pushed out onto the stage in order to give some final orders about how she wanted things set up. The idol was already wearing her full outfit, which included her rapier at her side. She shielded her eyes against the bright lights and waved to Andreas where he sat out in the audience. Then she looked a little confused for some reason, and turned to respond to a call if the lighting was okay. "Are you looking forward to the concert, lad?" Came a voice from just behind Andreas. There was certainly no one else there for the man to be talking to, so he was definitely speaking to the young fighter. "This concert is something... New. And special. I've never wanted to use my money more on something." The man explained. He was standing there in a richly coloured smoking jacket, and there seemed to be a few more guards standing by as well. "Ah, but I wouldn't want to ruin the surprise. I hope everything is to the young lady's tastes, I'd hate to see her at any less than her best." He added with a chuckle, watching as Ritsuka walked around the stage and gave orders. Any conversation that might have grown from the small introduction was cut short by a sudden scream up on the stage. A large group of armed men approached from one side, walking up quite cockily to the idol. Each of them were dressed in all white, puffed out in places with padding or armour, and wearing a face mask, much like the group that had attacked the pair much earlier. Ritsuka and Andreas might even be able to recognize one or two of them - if, in fact, there had been any way to recognize someone in similar clothing and a mask. "You're coming with us, girl." The man in lead stated quite plainly. Ristuka's response was understandable. She drew her sword out and pointed it at the man. It was the same pose that she had made when she was fighting the thugs earlier. She suddenly froze up and stopped though, the frown on her face was obvious from the very back of the audience seating. "Andreas, they have hostages." Ritsuka called out. She couldn't see if her companion was rushing onto the stage or not due to the lights, but she felt like it was a fair assumption. Just off the edge of the stage's side, there were a few figures lined up. They had knives held to the throats of the woman staffers. As fast as Ritsuka was, she would never make it across the stage and take out those men before they could kill at least one of them. "I'm sorry Mr. Vivid. We'll have to delay the concert." The idol called out, following orders being motioned to her to put away her sword. Two of the men came over to her, one disarming her and throwing the rapier off the stage while the second clasped her in a heavy pair of cuffs. They shoved her towards the side of the stage, keeping her away from the rest of the hostages. "Mister Vivid~." The lead man said, heading off of the stage slowly with the rest of his men. "We're holding your priceless girl captive! If you wish to see her alive again, I suggest you bring every tube and shade of colour that you own and bring it to the Colourless Catacombs. We'll be waiting for you. You have until midnight." He called out, laughing as him and his men disappeared over the edge of the stage and started heading towards the lake. Vivid gripped at his chest and stumbled, needing to lean against one of the chairs to stay upright. He looked incredibly torn. Over his entire fortune, or whatever it was that Ritsuka apparently had to offer. |

Andreas turned his head slightly to look towards whoever was addressing him. The sight of the extravagant jacket and extra hired muscle only meant that this could be one person. 'Mr. Vivid.' he thought as he looked the man over. "Yeah, it's my first one." he admitted, although he was not entirely sure of what he was looking forward to. He continued to listen to Mr. Vivid talk about all of his nonsense, but it seemed as though this guy was some type of weird creeper. "Uh-huh." Andreas occasionally replied as he simply nodded his head and slowly turned his attention back to the stage. When a bunch of men dressed in white appeared on stage, Andreas felt as if something was off. The men seemed awfully familiar, and within a few seconds it was pretty obvious something was off. "God damn bastards." he cursed underneath his breath as his eyes slanted in anger and he jumped out of his seat and began running towards the stage. He saw that Ritsuka was also preparing to fight the men, so he was rather happy that he would get another chance to see some of her skills, and to get to knock around a few more heads. Considering their last battle, this one was going to be quick. "Hostages?" he said questioningly as he began to slow down his run, stopping right before the stage. He watched as Ritsuka threw her blade to the side. His confusion and anger mixed into a mighty fine cocktail, as he could not understand why he needed to give a rat's ass about others, especially if he knew that they could take down the gang no problem. Even if they fought, the hostages would probably be fine. He grew angry at the idea of questioning his and Ritsuka's strength, although he figured she just wanted to play it safe. He watched helplessly as Ritsuka was placed in cuffs, and an unbelievable anger began to boil up inside. He let out a growl and hopped up onto the stage and dashed towards the men, but stopped in his tracks as he saw the hostages. "One more step, and they get it." one of the men said before holding the knife closer to one of the women's throats, drawing a bit of blood. Andreas clenched his fist angrily as he stared down the men. He breathe heavily and prepared to start raising hell, but then he looked into the hostages eyes. The absolute look of terror was something that struck a heart string, and he felt he could not bring up the strength to do anything. "Good." he heard them say as they began to arrange themselves and prepare for their leave as the leader gave their demands. Andreas stood and stared down the gang with absolute rage as they all made their way out, taking the hostages with them. In a matter of moments, they were gone, and the only ones left were him, Mr. Vivid, and his guards. "Well what the fuck are we waiting for?!" Andreas cried out as he looked towards Mr. Vivid in rage. "Your "something special" just got taken away by a bunch of assholes in white, and you're just standing there like a god damn loser! C'mon, get your shit together and let's go after em'!" he shouted in rage. "If you don't grab your fuckin' paint, I'm going to kick all of your asses. Then I'm gonna take it to them for yah. Then I'll kick all of their asses. Then I'll keep the fuckin' paint for myself." he threatened Mr. Vivid, hoping it would be enough to spur the man to take some action. |

"Those fools..." Vivid said, watching the men run off. He straightened up, weary, and seemed to come to a decision. The man said something to a few of his guards, and the word quickly spread throughout his ranks. A few ran to the stage to secure it, and more ran back into the estate. Through Andreas' verbal abuse, the man was still and solemn, walking down towards the boy and the stage. "My boy, I haven't gotten where I am by submitting to terrorism." The man explained, picking up the discarded rapier and examining it. "They've taken Miss Rizumu and some of my people, and I naturally cannot forgive it. However you seem to have a shallow view of this situation." He drew out the blade a little and then snapped the weapon and sheath together again. "My fortune would take a dozen men to carry, even in just paint I have on hand. It's an insane plea to make such demands. I am sure this is little more than an attempt to ruin this event and take a stab deep at my heart." Mr. Vivid turned the sword around and offered it to Andreas. "I'm already organizing my men. The Kolor Kidnapping Klan has never struck out in such a manner. I must ask that you precede us and do what you can." He added. "You are her bodyguard, are you not?" ___________________________ The men surrounded her were laughing quite heartily. The guards who had gone to secure the stage were watching the group leaving with anger in their eyes, but none of them dared to strike out on their own for fear of further injury to the hostages. Ritsuka's mouth was a thin displeased line, and then cuffs on her wrists clattered with every one of her forced steps. She only remained at the same pace as everyone else due to the constant prodding from behind, but her eyes weren't on the men, it was on the hostages. The stage workers who had been caught had their arms bound behind them and their mouths closed with cloth. One of them still had a red streak on her neck from where a knife was pressed into her. The entire group was forced up into some kind of wagon, and after the entire back of the vehicle was fill, they started to move. She couldn't see the beast of burden that was moving them forward, but a glimpse through the front of the vehicle showed a mass that was almost as wide across as the cart. The idol looked out the back of the cart, seeing a second one that was holding a couple more men - they must have assumed they'd return with more hostages or something. One of the wheels had fallen off and they were repairing it, but the first group wasn't going to wait for them at all. When they started to pick up speed, the thugs seemed to relax a bit, though none of them removed their masks. A few started talking in hushed voices, but their leader stomped his feet to put an end to that. The silence that overtook the cart made a few of the men - and Ritsuka herself - uncomfortable. Swallowing hard, one thug pulled out a second gag and started to bind the eyes of his hostage closed. The rest started to follow, seeing at least some wisdom in that. The idol singer herself was still looking around when she heard the struggle and looked over. Another one of the men approached her with a similar blindfold. Her leg flashed out from under the bench they were sitting on, catching him in the side of the knee. The man dropped half from the force and half from the injury. Ritsuka raised her heel and dropped it into the man's chest, and the entire back of the cart suddenly erupted into activity as they started to wrestle the girl and keep her away from the downed man. Her eyes caught a knife being placed to the neck of a hostage and she froze, enough that she was forced into the back corner and pressed against. It took a minute or so for the men to calm down, even though Ritsuka herself wasn't even breathing all that heavily. "I hope you understand your situation a little bit more and will stop struggling so much." The leader said, the edges of his face - the only parts revealed due to his mask - shifting to show that he was giving her a rather creepy smile. "What kind of stage name is Rizumu anyway?" The man asked, leaning against one of the hostages. He was making matters loud and clear as he drew out a knife and waved it centimeters away from the through of one man. The stage worker had been blindfolded and didn't know it was there, so his reaction was only out of fear of the closeness of the thug. That made it even worse to have to watch. "You know, we all think that you're better off being known as just plain old Ritsuka Meiban." He said with a grin. "Get used to the cuffs though. You won't be dancing in public for a long time." He hissed, moving away. Ritsuka's glare at him could probably have burned him if she was any more intense. "It's Lacuna, by the way." He said, pulling off his mask and hood. He was hiding deep dark hair and eyes, and van dyke beard. He certainly didn't look all that old, but flecks of paint that hadn't been groomed out of his hair showed that he was indeed a native to the island. None of the men followed suit, and a few of them even looked wary of his reveal. "You know my name, but I'm afraid I don't know anything about you." Ritsuka pointed out, her voice sweet and graceful even though her face was hard and serious. The situation rubbed her in all of the wrong ways. It wasn't the first time someone had attempted to take her hostage, through previously it was her countrymen and friends who had been taken and threatened. "This is also all very interesting, but I do have a concert to do. You'll have to forgive me if I don't stick around for very long." She added, fully confident in words. One of the hostages smiled, and earned a brutal fist to the head for it. Lacuna crossed to the back of the wagon and took a similar swing at Ritsuka, but the idol pushed herself just far enough away to make his fist miss her. The man was smart enough to stay away from her legs though, and the entire back of the wagon was back to keeping Ritsuka in place until they were sure she'd stay put. "Don't push me, Lacuna. I take censorship very seriously, and I will not be stopped by the likes of you!" She told him, the man looking back to her with a smile. Then he returned to the front of the cart, and the discussion was as good as over. |

Andreas gritted his teeth as Mr. Vivid continued to talk. The man's words eventually turned into nothing but a bunch of gibberish as it was all Andreas could make out amidst his growing anger. He walked up to Mr. Vivid after the man had held out the rapier towards him, and clenched his fist. His guards nearby tensed up a bit and readied their weapons as Andreas reached out his hand. "You're lucky I don't kick your teeth in." he said before grabbing onto the blade and shoving it into his belt loop. He stared at Mr. Vivid for a few seconds and slowly began to calm his breathing. "If you aren't there before I kick their asses, yours is next." he threatened the man as he turned away. He had a pretty good idea of the influence that Mr. Vivid held, and what the man could have done to him, or the people he could hire. Though, he found himself lacking a surprising amount of caring. As Andreas made his way towards the direction the Kolor Kidnapping Klan had gone off in, he brought his bag in front of him. He began to ruffle through it and pulled out two rather large gauntlets that he had stowed away before he put the paint inside. He slipped on each black gauntlet and slipped his pack back on. He admired the handiwork that had gone into them, the drill grooves along the side would really come in handy. He gave his forearms a quick spin, winding up the turbines within before he took off into a sprint. He looked forward and saw a few men working on a cart off in the distance. He narrowed his eyes and saw that they were actually finishing up, and were preparing to leave. As he ran towards them, he tried to think of a battle plan. He could not go all out at the threat of the cart taking off from a spooked animal, nor could he take everyone out because he had no idea where to go. The only thing to do was to try and sneak in. 'Okay, stealthy. Stealthy.' he chanted in his head, trying to uncover a part of him that he was not so stealthy. The wagon began to move and Andreas could barely catch up. 'Alright alright, one chance.' he thought to himself as he took a deep breath and took a leap of faith. Even though he tried to just jump onto the back of the cart, he managed to jump into it. "Fuck." he muttered as the men began to freak out. Andreas quickly began to spin, becoming a literal tornado of fists as he continuously pummeled all of the men inside the cart. After knocking several of them out, he let his spinning come to an abrupt stop as he held out a spinning finger, a little drill forming. He held it against the head of the man driving the cart, his mask slowly cracking underneath the pressure. "You're going to take me to Ritsuka, now." he said. The man trembled with fear underneath his mask, and Andreas slammed his hand down on the cart, crackign some of the wood. "I said. Now." he commanded, the man nodding his head and lashing the reigns to the horse, taking Andreas to location of the men. |

"I know that it's incredibly stereotypical, but I just wanted to remind the lot of you that you're not going to get away with this." Ristuka said in a rather conversational voice. For the length of the trip she had continued to talk to the men, even though Lacuna had been forced to lean his head back and yell at her to shut up and for none of the rest of the men to talk to her at all. Talking to them the entire time might have annoyed a few of the men, but she had been pretty calm and straight forward about it. None of them were angry with her and tensions were rather low, at least inside of the wagon. It had the effect of relaxing the men with the hostages, who were now much more comfortable and seemed a lot calmer than they had earlier. "When you're tied up with a knife to your throat, it's hard to calm down." Ritsuka thought to herself, looking to one of the male staff that had been captured. "When it becomes too much to take, you take chances, you make mistakes... It's those kinds of brave acts that's more likely to get yourself and others killed than save anyone." She said to herself from experience. Ah, things during the war had been tough on a lot of people. "I'm bringing everyone back for the show." It felt rather sudden when the angle of the wagon suddenly changed and they seemed to be moving downhill. Ritsuka wasn't the least bit sure about the topography of the island so she really had no idea where they was even a downhill area. Once they levelled out the wagon started to slow down and finally came to a stop. Ritsuka was sure that there were a lot more people outside of the wagon that she wasn't able to see, but looking out the back she could at least glimpse a little bit of a white rock face and a ramp that curved up onto the plains. "Alright, move her out of here." Lacuna said, walking into the back again and motioning for the masked man with her to bring her along. The idol didn't fight back at all, and was far more interested in their surroundings. She wanted to check out the camp or figure out where on the island they were first, but that was thrown to the back of her mind when she was met with a roar of cheers. "A lot of people here. Do you want me to perform too?" She asked, getting an annoyed glare from Lacuna. It seemed that everyone there was really happy to see Ritsuka and Lacuna, but not due to any form of entertainment. Whatever they had brought the idol there for, they were very excited about it. Once that disappointment had firmly set in, Ritsuka started to take in details about the place around her. There was a cliff that ran from the plains down onto this stony lower areas that the idol was finally able to identify as a beach. The white ocean was splashing nearby, but barely a sound was passing over the noise of the people gathered. There were all sorts of huts and tents built all over the place, naturally all plastered white, and several more wagons were sitting and waiting. The strangest thing were the barricades - not set up towards the ocean or towards the one path they had entered, but towards a massive cave. Guards were patrolling around the cave, but they were waiting for things to come out of it, not stopping people from going near it. "What exactly is supposed to come out of there?" She asked, honestly curious and no longer holding the forced calm that she had been using on the wagon. "None of your concern." Lacuna spat out, still sick about the girl's attitude. "Go and bind her to something. And bring out the hostages and keep a close eye on them, we still need them." He ordered. One of the men nearby returned to the wagon to bring out the hostages, and the lot of them were all brought to one of the makeshift sheds and brought inside. There was at least one guard per hostage just in that location alone, meaning that they were still very much at risk. Ritsuka was brought close to the centre of the camp where a small cart had been constructed. Her cuffs were linked to a second chain that let her only stand on the platform, and they kept distance from her and rolled her a little further towards the water. None of the men explained themselves any further, but they stopped and watched as their leader walked onto a raised platform. "Everyone! Everyone, a moment! We've finally done it. We've struck a blow against the bourgeois colour society that we live in by stealing something so precious from one of the richest men in our country!" He called out, receiving cheers in return. "Vivid will find quite an unexpected welcome here, won't he?" He asked with a laugh, getting laughter from the men back. "And soon, we'll leave behind our simple whites and show the country our true colours! Fire the flare and invite our 'guests' to come and celebrate with us!" Lacuna ordered. One of the men took a large rifle and rushed towards the ocean. Pointing it upwards, he fired a bright white flare that reflected off all of the pure white of the island, sending a signal out for miles. |

The entire cart ride was absolutely silent as they approached the Colorless Catacombs. The only sound that filled the air was Andreas's sighs of anger and displeasure, as well as the spinning of his finger held close to the man's head. There were a couple of close calls due to the bumpy ride, his finger accidentally actually touching the man for him from time to time. Luckily for the gang member, it took a bit more pressure than a few stumbles to impale a skull on a titanium drill. When they had finally reached the top of a hill, Andreas told the man to stop. "Hey." he addressed the man, to which he hesitantly turned around in fear. "Take your horsey somewhere else." he commanded, jumping out of the cart and rustling through his bag. He grabbed one small tube of paint and tossed it at the man. "Go and do something else, feed your horse for being a good boy or girl or whatever, and go have a drink." he gave the order, to which the man only looked down at the tube of paint in confusion. He hesitantly grabbed it and stared at it for a bit before looking back to Andreas. "B-" "Shut up. If you go and warn them that I'm here, I will destroy you." he nonchalantly threatened the man before motioning for him to take his leave. The man whipped the horse and turned it, heading back towards town. Within a few moments the cart was nothing but a colored dot off in the horizon. Andreas then turned his attention back to the hideout below. He knew that he did not necessarily have the stealth skills to take out the camp like some sort of hidden badass, nor did he have the speed or ability to take them out as fast as Ritsuka. If he tried anything, the hostages would be dead. He really did not want that hanging over his conscience or Ritsuka complaining about it. "Alright, Andreas. How are we going to handle this?" he asked himself aloud. For several moments he stood out in the open, just pondering on a game plan to take out the nearby gang. "Oh, got it." he said, a bit happy that he was able to come up with such an ingenious plan. "Hey, did you hear that?" a voice from elsewhere asked. Andreas's eyes widened as he hid behind a nearby tree and looked out to find a patrol of two men, each carrying a torch. "I really could of sworn that I heard something." one of the men said. Andreas could not really tell due to the masks. "Well, if you thought you heard something, just go look. We aren't incompetent enough to not look." the other replied in an annoyed tone. "Yeah, it's pretty irresponsible to do that." Andreas gave his two cents as he hopped out of the bushes and jumped the two men. He landed on one and pulled his fist back to ready a blow, but was stopped as the other man grabbed his arm. With a quick spin of his elbow, he whipped his arm free and slammed it down onto the man's chest beneath him. He quickly twisted his torso to look behind him, and the man just froze in place. Seeing a guy with his body twisting and turning in such body horrors was one thing. But having this guy coming at you and planning to savagely beat you was another. The man simply fell onto his back, passed out from his immense fear. Andreas just sat on top of the man beneath him and then looked down. Sure enough, that man too was passed out. His whole entire plan was sent down the drain by two guards who could not handle a little bit of strange. Then again, he never really stopped to look at himself in the mirror whenever he spun his body in awkward ways. "Whatever." he muttered before grabbing both the guards and dragging them into the bushes. A few moments later, Andreas popped out, clad in the gang's outfit and wearing a mask similar to theirs. He figured there would be no way in hell that the gang would be able to tell him apart from any of the other assholes in the gang. So with a quick roll of his neck, he set off to the infiltrate the camp and rescue Ritsuka and the other folk who had been taken from Vivid's complex. Edited by PapaKuma, Sep 3 2013, 12:08 PM.

There was a long quiet moment as the flickering flare curved in the sky and slowly started to fall back down to the earth. The entire crowd weren't watching the flare though, they were staring out at the ocean. It was like the entire group of them were all holding their breath. Ritsuka looked around, not able to see anything on the horizon and similarly having no idea what they would even be waiting for. She was about to say something when another white flare rose in the distance, well on the horizon. The crowd immediately burst into cheers again, a bunch of them moving to the beach and setting up torches and other lights in the fading daylight. "So, you have guests." Ritsuka commented quietly to the nearby gang leader. Lacuna looked back over her and let out a small laugh. "I'm sorry, do you need everything explained to you already?" Lacuna growled at her through a smile. Ritsuka looked away, ignoring the curt comment. The man got closer to her, walking to the edge of the raised platform where he was close enough to touch her if he needed to. Most of the men weren't paying attention, they were no longer looking for a speech and were instead cheering on the men setting up something on the beach. They had large blocks of bleached wood - no, actually they were probably just white from the rain. The idol had to keep in mind that everything around here was white as a matter of course. "Now what could that be for?" Lacuna asked, looking to Ritsuka and getting only an annoyed glare from her. He waved one of his hands and the men working on the wood sped up their pace. The block unfolded and started to slide out towards the ocean, floating on the waves. Two swimmers followed the end of it and seemed to get it to meet with some pillars that stopped just before the surface of the water. They were otherwise invisible due to the opaque painted water. "It's a... Secret dock?" Ritsuka answered unwittingly, confused as they men continued to put out more wooden planks and forming a larger and larger dock. There was a sudden chill down her spine when she started to put some of the possible pieces together. There were people after her. There was a reason to capture her aside from Vivid's concert. "It's a Marine ship." The idol stated coldly well before the ship had actually come into view. Lacuna turned to her with a smile when she suddenly lunged out of place. The cart she was in creaked and there was a sharp crack as the pole she was hooked up to suffered a little damage. The gang leader stepped back, somehow reacting even if he didn't think she could actually break out of there on her own. Angered at his momentary fright, he came back at her and swung out his hand to slap her across the cheek. Ritsuka pulled herself up by her chin and kicked out with both feet in an awkward attempt at an attack, but neither strike connected when the man stepped back first. "Don't you dare ruin my make-up. I still have to be ready for the concert." Ritsuka growled with a strange seriousness. Lacuna spat out a curse to the side and turned to see the boat in the distance getting closer. It took a little while, but the ship finally struck the hastily constructed port and started to toss ropes down. Ritsuka felt like there was bile rising in her throat, but there was something more than that. She... She might hate the Marines. There had been a lot of trouble for her in the past with the World Government, but after meeting Commander Swift she wasn't sure any longer. She didn't want to judge people just because of their job any more than she wanted to be lumped in with the worst criminals just because she had fought for the independence of her homeland. It didn't seem right, it wasn't in her character. Then what was the feeling that was rising up within her? It felt like panic, and anger, and something else. It didn't feel natural. As a gangplank slammed onto the makeshift pier from the side of the Marine ship, Ritsuka leaned her head down to try and return her breathing to normal. Cringing, she coughed out a thin puff of black smoke, but wasn't paying enough attention to see it. |

Andreas made his way through the white stained buildings, trying to find his way to the hostages. He was pretty sure he could not save Ritsuka before them, because she would just end up holding back with their lives at stake. He also thought that maybe he should just rescue Ritsuka then go and raise some hell. He was stuck in thought as a flare was suddenly launched up into the air. All the men seemed to be riled up over something, and they were all gathering around one area. Amidst the crowd, Andreas caught brief glimpses of Ritsuka. His eyes widened behind his mask and he clenched his fists angrily. 'Alright, step one...' he began to ponder as he made his way to get a closer look. She was heavily locked up, and he was unsure if she would be able to free herself with brute strength. 'Secure the keys.' He began to look around even further and easily found the leader of the group. There was no way that Andreas could take down the entire gang by himself and still leave with the hostages and Ritsuka alive. Combined with the fact that 'friends' were going to be visiting very soon, his chances were near impossible. "Uh, hey. What's going on?" Andreas suddenly asked on of the nearby men, who scoffed at Andreas. "Didn't you get the memo? We're handing over Ritsuka to the marines." the man stated, to which Andreas simply replied with an oblivious "Ohhhh. And uh... where are the hostages?" the man gave an annoyed roll of the eyes and then pointed towards a shed that looked to be falling apart. "Oh, okay, thanks." Andreas replied before heading off towards the shed. After entering the shed, he found a familiar sight of several hostages being held by knife point. "Uh, hey." he said in order to get the gang member's attention. "Who are you?" one of the members replied, Andreas still could not tell. "I'm new. Just joined the other day for a bit of extra money. The name's... Andre. Uh, leader wants you guys out there. Y'know. Secure the dock." One of the men took his knife away from the hostages throat and threw his hand off to the side, letting the knife dangle a little loosely. "What the hell? He just told us to keep an eye on them!" he shouted out, earning a nervous sigh from Andreas. "Yeah. But now he needs you to help out at the docks. I'll watch the hostages." he lied the best he could, holding out his palm to take one of the knives. "This sounds like bullshit, all of us for just one guy? Who the hell are you anyway? Huh, newblood?" he asked while tightening his grip around the knife and slowly holding it back up to the hostages neck. Andreas gave a light sigh before turning his back. "Alright. I guess he doesn't need you guys to make sure all of our asses don't get arrested. Not like some of that extra muscle could be put to use anyway." he said as he slowly began to leave. All of the guards became nervous, and one of them extended his hand out and shouted out to Andreas "Wait!" 'Hook, line, and sinker.' he thought before turning around. "Yeah?" he asked as he turned around. "How do we know we can trust you handling them alone?" one of them asked, as to which all the men nodded their heads. Andreas stood there for a bit as he looked towards one of the hostages. He walked up to one of them who met his eyes and looked away in fear. He made his way towards the hostage and pushed away the guard, and then pushed the girl onto the ground. 'I'm sorry.' he thought as he slowly raised his foot up. The girl looked at him in fear and tears began to well up in her eyes. "N-no. Please don't!" she cried out as she tried to crawl away. 'I'm sorry.' he thought once more as he brought his foot down and a sickening crack filled the air as he slammed it down onto the woman's ankle. She let out a horrific scream of pain, but was quickly silenced as Andreas held his hand over her mouth. All they could hear was a muffled sobbing, and the guards winced as they looked at the woman's limp leg. "Be quiet, or you'll get more." he whispered to the woman before slowly backing away and removing his hand. Her quiet sobs filled the room, and the rest of the hostages looked on with horror. "If any of you try to escape, you'll get worse. So. Much. Worse." he said in an absolutely dreadful voice before he let out a slow laugh. 'I'm sorry.' he thought once more as he put his foot back onto where he had previously broken the woman's leg and gently nudged it, earning another cry from the girl. The guards all seemed to be mortified and came to a general conclusion that this man could watch the hostages. "Alright, we'll be back. Don't hurt them too bad." one of them stated as the men sheathed their knives, one of them handing it to Andreas and patting him on the back for his cruelty. Andreas watched the men leave and then looked back towards the woman who was now crying on the floor. He leaned down and took out his pack very quick. "This is going to hurt." he said as he pulled out a roll of bandages that he usually used to wrap himself with, and began to wrap her leg. Her bones were misaligned and broken, so he shifted them the best he could. His lack of medical experience and only working on his own broken bones gave him a brief idea of what it should look like. The woman held her mouth as she tried to muffle her cries as Andreas continued to wrap her leg. "I'm so sorry." he apologized once more, calling another hostage over to him to help carry her. He began to spin the tip of his finger and made his way towards the back of the shed, penetrating the wooden wall with ease as he began to carve a makeshift exit. "Get the hell out of here and go get Vivid. Make sure she gets medical attention soon, I ain't no damn doctor." he stated as he finished carving a square shape into the wood. He then pushed on the square hole and the wood popped out. The hostages quickly made their way through and escaped into the nearby forest, making their way back to Vivid's house. A few moments later several of the guards would return to find the hostages as well as Andreas missing. Andreas began to make his way back towards Ritsuka, but he still had no idea how he would rescue her. "Hey! The hostages are missing!" one of the guards came out yelling, causing a panic throughout the camp. "What!? The hostages are gone?!" Andreas cried out as loud as he could, hoping Ritsuka would recognize his voice and catch on that now was her time to escape. Edited by PapaKuma, Sep 3 2013, 02:30 PM.

Marine sailors started to flood out of the landed vessel, two rows of at least a dozen men each charged onto the makeshift dock and lined up on either side of it. Lacuna and some of his men walked up at the end of the dock and met the Marines, the two forces standing right in front of one another. A single man, well dressed in full uniform walked calmly down the gangplank and walked through the two rows of men, meeting up with Lacuna. The gang leader bowed a couple of times, looking unsure of how to react. He started to move his lips, but before his voice could come out the Marine suddenly spoke in a commanding tone. "Is that the captive?" He demanded, glaring straight at Ritsuka from across the crowd. Lacuna only nodded and motioned to follow him. "Once I've identified her you'll get your money. I want this transaction to be quick." He stated coldly, following after the leader through the crowd. Ritsuka tugged on her chains again, throwing her shoulders around to try and wrench against it. She knew that the kidnapped people were still in danger, and that meant that she needed to save them, but this was cutting it way too close. The Marine approaching her looked about as well dressed as Swift had, though he dressed himself in the classic World Government white from head to toe. She could feel the hair on the back of her neck stand up when the man got close enough to actually speak to her. "Well, always nice to meet another agent of the World Government." The girl said, somehow sounding quite normal through her gritted teeth. "What can I help you with, officer? I'm afraid I can't stay long, I have a concert to hold." She tried a smile even in spite of the situation as hard as she could. The Marine returned the smile, looking back to Lacuna and smiling to him before turning back to the idol singer. "Miss Reiban, my name is Mathias Perry. I'm a Lieutenant Commander for the Marines." He explained in a far friendlier way than he had been speaking to Lacuna. The way he was talking was a little confusing for Ritsuka at first, but suddenly the man's expression started to change. "I trained under Commander Swift when I began. The embarrassment that you caused him recently is not something that I can allow." He cleared his throat and reached into his jacket, pulling out a bounty poster. Ritsuka brightened up for a bit when she saw the large '50,000,000' in the middle of the poster. It meant that she was getting rather popular, didn't it? Perry moved his hand down the poster in order to point at the bottom line. "They issued a 'Dead or Alive' on you. As an officer of the Marines, it's somewhat inappropriate for me to go around killing criminals wanted by the World Government. However, that does not exclude the Bounty Hunters on a small island who captured you." He stepped back and turned to Lacuna, who pulled a sword out. "I've identified the captive. Please make sure to turn the body over to me as soon as you can." Perry stated, walking back to his crew of men. "You heard the man. Sweet dreams." Lacuna commented with a grin, climbing up onto the cart. Ritsuka's mind felt like it was on fire. She had to do something to protect herself, but she couldn't risk them killing all of the hostages if she fought back. The idol shifted her weight heavily, forcing the cart to shake up a little bit, Lacuna having a little trouble getting his footing on it. The man growled, and Ritsuka shoved the cart again causing it to rock back. Without getting close enough to make a clean kill, Lacuna decided it was fine for it to be messy. He chopped in at her legs, but the girl got out of the way and let the sword slam into the pole she was chained to. Ritsuka lashed out with her foot to try and kick Lacuna but the distance was more than obvious. A few of the men came over to assist, holding the cart in place where they were still safe from the girl's lashing out at them. Lacuna returned back to climbing up the front, the idol would never be able to dodge with her torso the way she might with her legs. Then a sudden pair of calls came from the back of the area, a guard followed by Andreas' voice. The men all turned to look back, and a small smile started to crawl across Ritsuka's face. Now she could safely let loose. What let loose meant to her suddenly wasn't the same as the idol had been used to. Lacuna looked up to the idol, realising the possible danger even from the bound woman. He suddenly fell back though, he could instantly tell that something was very wrong when he saw the fanged mouth. Ritsuka suddenly let out a high pitched grunt of pain, throwing her shoulders around. Fur started to explode out from where her clothing had been, her legs were elongating and her heels were shifting. The girl felt like her back was suddenly burning as skin started to shift into scales, and then her tailbone stretched out into a seemingly live serpent with a head. Soon the idol's body was covered in blonde and tiger-striped fur, and her face wasn't fully visible under her growing hair. Her clenched fists stretched out to reveal they were full claws. With a powerful wrenching, she somehow dislodged the pillar on the cart with a terrifying crunch, throwing it in front of the cart where it crashed in front of Lacuna. The entire area erupted into black smoke the covered both the gang leader and the men who had been there to help, covering up what had happened. Halfway back to his ship, Lieutenant Commander Perry turned around with a horrified glare. He didn't see how it was possible, because he knew exactly what he was looking at. That meant that when she had fought against Commander Swift... "That Devil Fruit..." He said, his voice turning into an angry growl as the words faded. Techniques Used

Andreas quickly made his way over towards the cart where Ritsuka was being held. He had to find a way to stop her. If he heard correctly, they were going to kill her very soon, and he was unsure if she would be able to escape herself. He quickened his pace when he saw a man with a sword stepping onto the cart, and Ritsuka began to fight back. 'Shit.' he thought as he realized more men were heading towards the cart to aid their leader. Amidst all of the men, it seemed like a pretty bad idea to reveal himself before he had Ritsuka up and about. A sudden chill ran down his spine as he stared at Ritsuka. Her body began to morph into something inhuman. The sight of tiger-like fur filled his eyes, and then with the crunch of wood filling the air, the sight vanished as it was swallowed up by black smoke. "What the hell? Ritsuka?!" he called out as he ran towards the black smoke. He felt a powerful tug on his shoulder that spun him around, to which he was instantly met with a fist to the chest. "This is the bastard who let the hostages go!" he shouted out, earning a roar from the crowd. "It wasn't me, yah bastard!" Andreas cried out as he struck the man in the chest as well, causing him to topple over in pain. "It was that guy!" he cried out before pointing towards another random gang member. Confusion and chaos slowly began to spread, but Andreas needed to find a way to ignite it. 'That's it.' he thought before looking around the encampment. There were several torches lighting the area. He began to spin his finger and take aim as fast as he could. He was definitely no marksman, but he could hit a target close to him. "Holy shit, a fire!" he shouted before he scanned the area once more and then thrust his finger forward, launching out a small spiraling shockwave that struck the wood of the torch and dug through it, causing the torch to topple over. The torch fell onto some tarp that was being used for a makeshift tent, and it soon ignited. "There too!" he shouted out before pointing his finger and launching out another shockwave to knock over yet another torch. Within moments, the fires began to spread, and the area erupted into chaos. "Him! He started the fire! I saw it!" one of the gang members cried out as he pointed at a member close to the burning tent. "Yeah!" another cried out before several of them began to assault each other. All around, members were blaming each other and fighting, making claims of being disloyal to the gang, working with the idol, or being sent by Mr. Vivid. It was absolutely beautiful. The nearby marines could only stand and watch as they waited for orders of what to make of the current situation, which was an advantage in his book. ‘Now to get Ritsuka.’ He thought before turning around and heading towards the area where Ritsuka had previously been, hoping he was not too late.
