I'm wanting to give my Spy a technique that allows him to dodge attacks more easily and one that allows him to dash forward at a much quicker pace than normal. For example, if I were to say "Alexander ignores everything around him, focusing only on the direction of his opponent's attacks. Doing this, Alexander is able to predict movements quickly and accurately, allowing him to evade more strikes than he normally could." Would it be acceptable, or does it overlap with Kami-E? also sorry if this is in the wrong section. |

You can make and use weaker forms of Kami-E and Soru if you have roku master trait. However, if you don't have roku, dodge and speed based techniques are still perfectly available. They will be somewhat weaker and limited compared to someone using roku techs, however simply making techs based on sprinting and dodging doesn't inherently infringe on Kami-E and Soru, just don't copy the exact forumlas and description, and try your best to make it clear that it's just generic dodging and running. The description you provided is right about in the ballpark of what you can do without roku. Edited by ShadowBabe, Apr 23 2013, 05:23 PM.
