Character Template [-----] Account Name: The Kenny Basic Character Information Name: Jack Denning Nickname: Gunslinger Age: 26 Gender: Male Race: Human Affiliation: Bounty Hunter Threat: 0 Achievements: Profession: Marksman/Assassin Position: Physical Appearance Height: 6'2 Weight: 198 Hair: Brown Eyes: Blue Clothing/Accessories: Jack likes the old western fashion. Which means cotton button up shirts, denim pants, and leather boots. As well as his duster coat. Oh, and a hat. A plainsmans outback western hat, to be specific. Yes, it's a mouthful, get over it. The strap around the hat is decorated with revolver bullets, a personal modification Jack made. As a gunslinging bounty hunter, he carries the tools of his trade: Two holsers for his pistols, a belt made to carry bullets and tools, and a bandolier for even more ammo. He's a wee bit gun crazy, and it shows. General Appearance: Jack's hair is brown and cut to around eyebrow level in the front and neck level at the back, though it's usually combed back. His face is either smooth or covered in a thin layer of stubble depending on whether or not he decided to shave that day, and his eyes, blue eyes, are hidden under a tipped hat. Spoiler: click to toggle The Character Personality: Jack likes to play it cool, and more importantly, he likes to mind his own damn business. Unless doing nothing would be a blow to him morally, he's not going to do a damn thing about it. Of course, he's got his own set of morals, part of which revolves around convenience and whim. A village a month away is going to be burned down? Sucks to be you. The village he's in is about to be burned down? Okay, fine, got any money to compensate? You're about to beat up a guy who's been late on paying his debt? Well, fair is fair. You're gunna sell his kid to pay his debt? Well, he might step in, depending on if he feels like getting involved or not. Jack's list of things he likes is fairly simple: Himself, guns, money, women, tobacco, alcohol, and honest men. In that exact order. Kids are okay, too. It depends on the kids attitude, really. Jack's list of things that he doesn't like is also pretty simple: Not getting paid, liars and cheats, disrespect, and having his time wasted. Again, in that order. The first three each have a very real risk of someone getting a bullet. The last one a rather curt reply and a crude hand gesture. Though he doesn't like being cheated, Jack will cheat every now and then, especially if he's all in with only two threes and an ace. Hometown: Wild Wild West Island History: Jack was born the son of a former bounty hunter turned farmer, due to a crippling bullet wound. As a child, Jack had to help his father till the land, sow the seeds, and harvest the crop. Well, around the time he turned thirteen, Jack decided he didn't want to spend his live growing cabbages, and told his father just that. He insisted that he wanted to be a bounty hunter, and wanted his father to teach him how to shoot. At first, he was reluctant, but when he saw that his son was going to go either way, he decided he would at least teach him how to survive. So started a new chore on Jack's list: gunman training. When he turned sixteen, Jack felt ready to go out on his own. Of course, he couldn't very well leave his crippled father alone while he went off shooting pirates, so he had to stick around to help with the farming. During the middle of that year, however, his father caught, and subsequently died from, tuberculosis, leaving his son just one thing: A letter with an address of an old gunsmith. Tracking down the man, Jack gave him the letter. Reading it, the old man just smirked, and brought out a wooden case containing Jack's real inheritance: a pair of custom double-action revolvers, made specifically for him. It's been ten years since that day, and Jack's still bounty hunting, seeking his fortune. He's got nothing but himself and his guns. Forunately, he's got a lot of guns. Abilities and Possessions Combat: In combat, Jack prefers the practical approach. Why challenge the man to a duel at noon when he could just shoot him in the head while he's leaning over to tie his shoe? In the event he is in actual combat, Jack's approach is simple: Shoot first and move fast. Weaponry: A pair of eight shot revolvers. Spoiler: click to toggle A pair of double barreled derringers Spoiler: click to toggle Items: A gun belt that holds his ammo, revolver holsters, and a length of rope. A bandolier to hold more ammo. A pair of gun sleeves to hide his derringers. Oh, and a pocket knife. Beli: 500,000 Upkeep: SD Earned: 0 Stat Points: 32 SD Remaining: 0 Stats:

For your professions, you need to include the full descriptions of each. As a marksman primary, you are allowed to start with 4 one-handed pistols, or 2 two-handed rifles, or a combination of the two... However, starting pistols and rifles must be 1-shot iron quality. Revolvers are expensive and you will have to pay for them. The Derringers also need to be single-barrel. You can upgrade your guns later. If you want them now, I am afraid you won't be able to afford them all, but I can price them for you if you want. |
