On both professionals in general; are they ever going to get profession bonuses that are actually useful?

Why not give them something like 1/4 fortune in tp to burn on something profession related?

Next question; since rokushiki mastery requires MA, would that be a profession trait or general?

1/4th fortune tp is a bit more of a bonus than we'd be comfortable giving though we do plan to give those proffesions a buff.

We'll tell you more about roku once its official but any combat proffesion can use the techs now.

Any combat profession can use soru or geppo, bu the others are strictly martial artist.

Roku will likely remain legacy, part of it overlaps with all kinds of combat/martial arts experience and training. That part was only added to dumyproof people who went "not a Martial artist, take roku trait, suddenly better than martial artist!". No, it doesn't work that way.

And again, it's been discussed in public several times (in staff section as well), it's been discussed better before because this is just a "fix the professions" thing and I've been browsing ideas for it over the past month. Whatever these changes will be, they'll be insignificant enough to not scoop out instantly to grab it as primary but still a nice thing to have as primary. At least that's the goal I'm going for.

I dont see why a non Martial Artist Combat Profession Character shouldnt be allowed to take trait so they can either make custom Soru/Geppou variations or any of the other skills as long as they are rank 14 or lower. (Like rudimentary variations or forms of the others.)

Also don't know why marksmen and weapon specialists can't create stances either.

Do you want me to fuck this site over your inquiries again. I hate dummyproofing and holding the hand of you lot. What's wrong with having faith in you all being a capable individual who isn't out to loophole the fuck out of this system for all sorts of pointless benefits that do more harm than good. You might as well log on to a random minecraft server and start grieving because that will save you about 2 years of writing words. I doubt that, in retrospect, anyone out for all the loopholes they can get in this place is a smart person.

You don't have better technology than inventors, you got the exact same thing they have. For 3 traits. In your body. Along with armour. Might as well jack of all trades for a version you can take off once in a while. Having inventor along with it, is a nice bonus really since you get portable parts to play with instead of all this built in, charge precious beli for your crap. The only thing cyborgs have that inventors don't is a magical compact propulsion system that we can't replicate outside of the augmented human/fishfolk/whateverthefuckyouare body.

As I said in other topics about this profession stuff, stances are a thing in consideration as well. Personally I'm pro on it but official statements and whatnot. Sit tight, you swordsman and gunslingers can have your buffs soon.
